The thing about it is that there will be chosen two participants, one male and one female between 12 - 18 (as usual) but the problem it that after they are chosen a familymember to each of them will be chosen regardless of age.

When Sadie Fields and Rye Mellark are reaped for the 74th Hunger Games, the odds couldn't be crueler. Sadie—the sweet, nurturing girl who would rather die than harm another soul—and Rye—the fiery, protective middle brother of Peeta Mellark—are inseparable.
