Jessie: How come we haven't had any focus episodes?
Meowth: Yeah what kind of injustice is this?
Me: Calm down sheesh. You guys aren't even the main characters
Meowth: We're the main antagonists though. We deserve equal treatment to the twerps!
Jessie and James: Right!
Me: Fine you want a focus chapter you got it. James announce the chapter's name
James: Holy Matrimony. I wonder what that means?
The Pokegang have long since left Grampa Canyon and now are back in the countryside. Brock is carrying the egg that Ash found
"Pikachu I hope you've learnt your lesson." Ash says
Pika Pika Pikachu(Yes. Never swallow apples whole again)
They come across a sign with a poster of a young boy on it
"Hey guys check out this poster." Alex says
They read the poster. It has the word "MISSING" underneath the picture
"Is it just me or does this kid kind of look like James?" Misty asks
"You're right." Ash says surprised, "It looks just like James."
A limousine suddenly pulls up next to them. The car door opens and a butler hops out. He holds a megaphone to his mouth and speaks through it
"Have you seen that boy in the poster?" He asks
"We have if he's James from Team Rocket." Alex replies
"EUREKA!" The butler yells causing everyone to cover their ears, "Quick to the estate!"
He suddenly shoves all the kids into the limousine and they drive off. Team Rocket pop out of the bushes once the limousine is gone. Jessie and Meowth head over to the poster to investigate while James hangs back awkwardly
"Hmm. This kid looks alot like you." Jessie states
"You think so?" James asks, "He looks pathetic."
"That's what she means James." Meowth replies
"Right. We better go investigate." Jessie says and her and Meowth run off down the road. James stares at the poster and sighs. Jessie and Meowth suddenly rush back
"James!" Jessie yells
"What're waiting for?" Meowth asks
"Oh I'll stay here." James answers
"NO YOU WON'T!" They yell
They grab James and forcefully drag him along
The limousine arrives at the front gate of the estate. The gates open automatically and the limo drives inside. It starts heading up the unnecessarily long drive way to get to the mansion
"Hey mister how much longer?" Ash asks
"We're almost at the end of the driveway." The butler responds
"It feels like we drove past the gate an hour ago." Alex groans
Ash glances out the window, "Woah!"
Everyone looks out and sees the giant mansion
"It's huge!" Misty exclaims
"I've seen shopping malls smaller than this place." Brock says shocked
The limo pulls to a stop and everyone gets out
"It looks even bigger up close." Alex says
"It must have a hundred rooms." Misty says
"It's the biggest mansion I've ever seen." Ash says
"THAT IS NOT THE MANSION!" The butler screams through his megaphone
"Do you have to use that damn thing?" Alex asks as he rubs his ears. The butler ignores him
"This little dog house is for Growlie, master James' favourite Pokemon. That building to the side is the master's mansion."
Everyone's jaw drops at the sight of the mansion. It's double the size of the "little" dog house
"This is ridiculous." Alex says
"Please follow me." The butler says and starts walking up the steps. The Pokegang follow along confused. Team Rocket peak their heads out from the garden
"Oh wow." Jessie says stunned
"Yeah." Meowth replies out of words
"We're in the lap of luxury." Jessie and Meowth both start cheering
"We hit the jackpot!"
James on the other hand doesn't seem too thrilled
The butler has lead the Pokegang into the mansion. The inside of the mansion seems even larger than the outside. The gang are taking everything in when they notice two coffins lying in the middle of the room
"Coffins? Was there a funeral here?" Misty asks
The butler stops in front of a family portrait of James,holding a baby Growlithe, and his parents, "My master and mistress had only one child, a boy named James. This morning his parents passed away and this estate is now his."
The group gasp in shock
"You mean this whole estate is going to belong to James!" Ash yells
Team Rocket are eavesdropping from the roof
"James!" Jessie yells shocked
"Is this place really yours?" Meowth asks
"I suppose." James replies unsure
"It's so tragic." The butler wipes his eyes with a handkerchief, "After master James ran away his parents no longer had the strength to go on. Their hearts were broken."
"That's so sad." Misty says
"And now they're...I hope we find James to tell him real soon." Ash says
"REAL SOON WON'T DO!" The butler once again screams into his megaphone, "His parents' will clearly states that master James must marry his fiancée within 24 hours of their passing away. If not this entire estate will no longer belong to him but will be donated to charity."
Jessie and Meowth are listening intently. James has curled up into a corner
"I must find him at once." The butler finishes
The Pokegang have exited the mansion and are mulling about in the garden
"We should help look for James." Ash says
"What?" Misty asks surprised, "Why should we help him after all the trouble he's caused us?"
"He may want to come to his parents' funeral. I mean it's his last chance to say goodbye to them." Brock says
"Geez I didn't think of that." Misty says
"Is no one else wondering why he ran away though?" Alex asks, "I mean look at this place. Why would anyone leave this behind?"
"Yeah it does seem weird." Ash says, "I guess the only way we'll find out is if he find him."
"How are we gonna find him anyway?" Misty asks
"No never!" James suddenly yells
"Careful James!" Jessie yells
They look around confused. Team Rocket scream as they fall off the roof and land on the ground
"Oh hey look it's James." Alex says
James tries to make a run for it but Jessie and Meowth grab onto him
"Never! I can't! Leave me alone!" James is thrashing around frantically and trying to escape
"Stop that!" Brock yells, "James' parents just passed away!"
"He's got to come to their funeral." Ash says
"Never!" James pulls himself free from Jessie and Meowth
"Look James we're becoming very annoyed with you." Jessie says
"Don't you want to become the richest guy in the world?" Meowth asks
James stares down at the ground, "I don't know..."
He clutches his head and screams, "Ahhh! I feel like my head is splitting! I can't remember anything that happened!"
"What's wrong?" Misty asks confused, "He's acting more weird than usual."
"It's all a blur to me!" James yells, "I remember flunking out of Pokemon Tech and joining a bicycle gang!"
"None of that happened James!" Jessie yells
"Maybe James has amnesia?" Brock suggests
"Really? We're going with amnesia?" Alex asks
"I only remember one scene before that. It was a dark and stormy night." James starts monologuing, "A boy was wandering far from home with his loyal Growlithe: Growlie."
Flashback
Young James and his pet Growlithe are trudging along a street late at night. It is snowing heavily and James is clutching onto himself to try and keep himself warm
"They were both freezing and they hadn't eaten in days." Adult James narrates
Young James collapses out of exhaustion. Growlie licks him out of concern. James shivers
"Growlie I'm not gonna make it. Leave me alone and save yourself." James says weakly
A light shines down on James. He looks over at a painting on the building nearby which has a bunch of angels
"The angels have come for me. Farewell. I leave this cruel world for a better place. Remember me Grow-" James closes his eyes. Growlie starts howling mournfully
Flashback ends
"Then the boy departed this world. Little Growlie howled all night. The boy was found frozen solid." James finishes his tale. Everyone but Misty and Alex are crying
"That's such a sad ending." Jessie cries
"That poor kid." Meowth cries
"I can't believe James is gone." Brock cries
"I miss him!" Ash cries
Misty growls, "James is standing right here!"
"Ha that's right." James realizes. Then he realizes everyone is giving him suspicious looks, "I'm all mixed up!"
"Who cares? It doesn't matter what you remember just take the cash." Jessie says
"But James can't get his inheritance unless he marries some girl in the next twenty four hours." Alex points out
"We'll fake the wedding and scram with the money." Jessie says
"That's ridiculous!" James yells. He suddenly makes a run for it, "I won't do it! You can't make me!"
Jessie and Meowth pull out some rope and lasso James
"Let me go!" James yells, "I don't want to!"
"You can't make him get married!" Ash yells
"He should be free to decide who he does and does not want to marry!" Brock yells
"Put a sock in it!" Jessie yells back
"Keep your dumb opinions to themselves!" Meowth yells
James has been changed into a suit and his mouth is covered up. Meowth and Jessie are wearing black outfits that apparently make them invisible and they are forcefully dragging James' towards the mansion. The Pokegang just watch everything confused
"They realize we can still see them right?" Alex asks
Jessie forces James to knock on the front door. The butler opens it and his eyes widen in shock
"Master James!" The butler yells shocked
"Yes it's me. I've come home." Jessie says in a deep voice
"Welcome home sir!" The butler yells through the megaphone
"Is he blind or something?" Alex asks
"I don't know. Maybe the outfits really do work?" Brock suggests
"Please come in sir." The butler opens the door wider allowing James,Jessie and Meowth to enter the mansion
"Thank you." Jessie says in her deep voice
"I need to see how this plays out." Alex says intrigued. Him and the others sneak over to the front door. They see the butler addressing the coffins of James' parents
"Everything is fine masters. Your little boy James has finally come home just as you wished."
"Oh mommy daddy it's true. I'm back home at long last to get my money." Jessie's eyes widen at her slip up. The butler looks at her confused, "I mean um..."
"You're blowing it." Meowth whispers. Him and Jessie force James down to his knees
"I'm going to get married just like it says in your will." Jessie says
James tries to mumble something through his gag but Jessie hits him
"Oh mom and dad I wish I came back sooner." Jessie says with fake sadness in her voice. Laughing suddenly starts from the coffins
"Hmm?" Jessie looks over confused. The coffins burst open and James' parents emerge from them
"Ahhhh!" Everyone but the butler screams
"Ghosts!" Alex yells and falls backwards in shock
"Oh James dear we're so happy you've come back mom." James' mother says
"And you're wearing a suit." His father says
"They're either alive." Jessie says confused
"Or they're real solid ghosts." Meowth says
James manages to rip the gag off his mouth, "You're both imbeciles! It's just like them to pull a stunt like this to get me back home!"
Jessie and Meowth glare at him
"Does this mean you really don't have amnesia?" Jessie asks accusingly
"Uh...where am I? Who am I!" James yells
"Why you're James and you're about to be married." James' father answers
"Hopkins begin the preparations." James' mother says
The butler picks up Jessie, James and Meowth, "Yes mistress."
He carries them upstairs. James' parents follow them
"Should we follow or...?" Misty asks
"Yes. I really want to see where this goes." Alex says
They follow the others upstairs
James is tossed into a chair. He tries to get away but Jessie and Meowth hold him down
"I'm proud of you for realizing you must uphold the family tradition." James' father says
"As our son and heir you have certain obligations." James' mother explains, "Most important of these is to marry and continue the family line."
"Right." Jessie responds
James suddenly breaks free, "Do I have an obligation to be manipulated!"
Meowth covers his mouth. James screams into his hand
"I don't know what you're talking about." His father says
"We only want what's best for us...I mean best for you." His mother says
The Pokegang are watching from the doorway
"A man who can't settle down is like a Beedrill without a nose. He'll never sniff the daffodils of life." James' father explains
"That seems wise." Ash mumbles
"It really isn't." Alex replies
"You'll learn to be a real gentleman once you marry the right girl." James' mother says, "And here she is."
The doors on the opposite side of the room and open and a woman steps through. She is holding a paper fan up to her face to cover it. James however is already thrashing around and trying to break free. He is screaming incoherently into Jessie and Meowth's hands. Everyone else watches intrigued
"She's so beautiful." Brock says in a daze
"You can't even see her face." Misty points out annoyed
"I can just tell." Brock replies
"As James' wife it will be your duty to change him from a worthless do nothing to a respectable gentleman. My dear Jessebelle." James' mother says
James' eyes widen terrified
"As you wish mother." Jessebelle replies in a pleasant ladylike tone
"Meowth. Her voice is like catnip to my ears." Meowth says, "Now that's what I call a real lady not a mean tough nasty gal like Jessie."
Jessie responds by punching Meowth
"I'll show you tough mean and nasty." Jessie grumbles
"My name's Jessebelle." Jessebelle slowly starts lowering the paper fan, "My only wish is to be your loving devouted wife and companion. And also to educate you in your duties as a gentleman."
Jessebelle closes the fan revealing her face...and that she looks identical to Jessie. Everyone screams in shock. James has a full on panic attack at the realization
"What a twist." Alex says shocked
"Amazing." Meowth says stunned, "That girl looks exactly like Jessie."
"How dare you compare me to that wimp." Jessie says angrily, "We look nothing alike."
"Are you kidding? You both have exactly the same face." Meowth points out
"Will you two stop arguing!" James yells into their hands, "We've got to get out of here right now!"
"Don't be ridiculous!" Jessie yells back, "How can we get your inheritance if you don't get married? You've got to go through with it!"
"Do it for the team." Meowth says, "We're counting on you to make us all filthy stinking rich."
"Forget the team!" James thrashes around getting himself free from their grasp, "I'm not doing it!"
"Is something wrong?" Jessebelle asks, "Why ever do you keep talking to yourself like that James?"
"Talking to himself? Jessie and Meowth are right there?" Ash points out
"I don't know what's going on but I really want to see what comes next." Alex says
Jessebelle claps her hands, "Say here's an idea. Let's go down to the vault and count all the money you'll inherit."
Jessie has managed to cover James' mouth again. Her and Meowth chuckle evilly
Jessebelle is leading James, Jessie and Meowth down a long stairway. It's really dark and Jessebelle is using a candle to light the way
"After you disappeared your mother and father were so worried about you, as was I ofcourse, but I knew one day you'd come back to me." Jessebelle says
James screams something into Jessie's hand
"I'm sorry for running away but everything is going to be just fine now that I'm back here with my money." Jessie says
"What was that James?" Jessebelle asks
"I said with my honey." Jessie replies quickly
The Pokegang are following them at a distance
They reach the end of the stairway and stop at some closed doors
"Here we are at the vault." Jessebelle says, "Let's go inside. Your inheritance is in here."
She presses a button and the doors start sliding open. Jessie and Meowth smirk excitedly while James seems terrified. They drag him into the room and are shocked to see there's no money inside. Instead the room is full of exercise and training equipment
"What's all this?" Meowth asks confused
The Pokegang peak through the doorway
"What kind of inheritance is this?" Jessie asks
James breaks free, "Don't you fools get it! Jessebelle tricked you into coming down here!"
Jessie and Meowth look at each other confused, "How did she spot us?"
"IMBECILES!" James screams furiously
James' parents enter the room from a secret door nearby
"Your mother and I are very tired of waiting for you to grow up." James' father says
"James it's time for you to face the music." James' mother says
James slowly starts backing towards the door when a long whip suddenly cracks the ground behind him. He jumps in fright and turns to see Jessebelle is the one wielding it
"You can't just do whatever you feel like anymore." Jessebelle says, "Now you'll obey Jessebelle. Let the taming begin."
"What the hell is going on now?" Alex asks confused
"I don't know but it's making me really uncomfortable." Misty says
"I'm starting to like you more than her Jess." Meowth says causing Jessie's face to turn red in rage
"Thanks a lot." Jessie replies sarcastically. James' parents suddenly surround them
"I think they see us." Meowth says
"Everything was going fine until you opened that big Meowth of yours!" Jessie yells
"Do you take us for fools?" James' father asks
"We only pretended we couldn't see you so that you'd bring James down here to the dungeon." James' mother says
"Good thing we came prepared." Meowth says, "Now you see us..."
"And now you don't!" Jessie throws a smoke bomb into the ground. Smoke fills the room and the two of them slip away
"Jessie! Meowth! Don't leave me!" James yells
He bumps right into Jessebelle
"At last we're together." Jessebelle says, "I'm so happy."
James screams and starts running around the room. Jessebelle chases after him and starts trying to hit him with her whip
"You won't escape from me again James." Jessebelle says determined
"Those two were made for one another just like you and I my precious." James' father says
"It's a perfect match." James' mother agrees
James runs past them, "If you two weren't such lousy parents-" He dodges another strike from the whip, "You'd stop this mad woman!"
"Shouldn't we try and help him?" Ash asks
"I uh don't like to get involved in these family squabbles." Brock says
"Besides this is getting really good." Alex says
Jessebelle manages to wrap her whip around James' foot and trips him
"Ah!" James lands on the ground hard
"Oh James I knew you'd fall for me." Jessebelle pulls out a pokeball and tosses it, "I choose you Vileplume!"
Vileplume
"Oh cool a Pokemon!" Ash pulls out his pokedex to scan it
Vileplume the Flower Pokemon. A Grass/Poison type. The larger its petals, the more toxic pollen it contains. Its big head is heavy and hard to hold up. Vileplume is the evolved form of Gloom. This Vileplume is Female
"Now Vileplume use Stun Spore so James can't run away again!" Jessebelle orders
Vileplume fires a bunch of blue powder out of it's flower which spreads throughout the room. Jessebelle and James' parents all put on gas masks. Everyone else breathes in the powder and all collapse to the ground stunned. Jessebelle stands over the paralyzed James
"James my dear I'll make a gentleman out of you yet. Even if it destroys us." Jessebelle says. "Hopkins?"
Hopkins enters the room carrying an unconscious Jessie and Meowth, "Yes?"
Jessebelle gestures at the paralyzed Pokegang, "Could you please get a large room and clear out this mess?"
Hopkins tosses Alex, Ash, Brock, Jessie, Meowth, Misty and Pikachu out of the mansion. He closes the door behind him. The Stun Spore has started wearing off and everyone starts getting to their feet
"No you can't leave me on a cliffhanger!" Alex yells
"Well like they say. Even a rose has it's thorns." Brock says
"She's more like a cactus." Misty replies
They can hear James' screams coming from within the mansion. Jessie and Meowth look at each other worried
"If James marries her he'll get his inheritance." Jessie tries to justify
"If he can survive being married to her." Meowth responds
Something starts slamming against the door to the doghouse. They hear barking and growling coming from inside
"What's going on over there?" Ash ask
Growlithe! Growlithe!
Pikachu rushes over to the doghouse
Pikapi! Pika Pika Pikachu!
"What's the matter Pikachu?" Ash asks
"It wants you to open the door." Meowth translates
"Ok." Ash grabs the door handles and tries to open it but it's locked, "Guys could you help?"
"Sure." Misty replies. Everyone grabs onto each other and they all pull at the door. Meanwhile inside the doghouse Growlithe has backed up a good distance and charges towards the door. It slams into it ripping the door open and knocking everyone to the ground. Growlithe dashes past them and straight towards the mansion
Jessebelle has managed to corner James. She is leaning over him and he is trying to get as far away from her as possible. He moves backwards but his head meets wood. Jessebelle grins
"James it's time for the wedding." She leans downwards to kiss him. James is literally shaking out of fear. He looks around for any escape but can't find anything
"Growlie!" He screams
His Growlithe suddenly bursts into the room and with a howl leaps between James and Jessebelle
Growlithe!
"Growlie." James lets out relieved
"Oh no who let you out?" Jessebelle asks annoyed, "Vileplume get rid of this horrid thing!"
Vileplume is about to attack when Growlie lifts James up and rushes off
"Where are you going? Don't leave!" Jessebelle yells
Growlie rushes out of the mansion with James on his back and dashes towards the doghouse
Growlithe! Growlithe!
"It's saying to go inside!" Meowth yells and everyone rushes into the doghouse. Brock and Ash close the doors. Growlie places James on a couch and he relaxes
"You saved me Growlie. Thank you." James says
Growlie licks James' cheek and he laughs happily, "That tickles Growlie."
"Well James that fiancée of yours is truly despicable." Jessie says
"Told you she's just like Jessie." Meowth says causing Jessie to attack him
James sighs sadly, "She's the reason I ran away from this estate. What a rotten day."
He looks up at the ceiling, "As soon as my engagement to Jessebelle was announced she started following me everywhere, trying to change me. Nothing I ever did was refined enought for her."
Flashback
Young James bursts out of the mansion and makes a run for it. Jessebelle chases after him holding a little Oddish in her arms
"Please leave me alone I can't stand it!" James yells with tears coming down his face. He runs past the doghouse, "Growlie!"
Growlie bursts from the doghouse and chases after James
"Where are you going James?" Jessebelle asks as she chases after him, "I haven't finished teaching you the correct way to eat spaghetti yet."
"I want to do things my way Jessebelle!" James yells back
"You're not running properly. Let me show you the right way." Jessebelle responds
Flashback ends
"How can you run wrong?" Alex asks causing Misty to smack herself in the face
"Ever since I was a kid I hated how upper class society had rules for absolutely everything." James explains, "Jessebelle's so rich that marrying her would be the worst mistake of my life."
He strokes Growlie's head and smiles a little, "Growlie is my only real friend on this stuffy estate."
"Wow. I guess being rich isn't all it's cracked up to be." Meowth says
"Yeah. I always wanted to grow up in a place like this but now..." Misty trails off
The wall to the doghouse is suddenly blown up by a Solar Beam. Poor Jessie and Meowth are caught up in the attack and sent blasting through the roof
"Jessie! Meowth!" James hops to his feet in shock
Jessebelle and Vileplume enter through the hole in the wall
"My sweet James you can't escape me." Jessebelle says
"Was the hole really necessary?" Alex asks, "The door's unlocked."
"Leave me alone Jessebelle!" James yells
Growlie growls and gets ready to pounce
"Vileplume Stun them just like before!" Jessebelle orders
"Growlie Flamethrower!" James yells and Growlie fires the attack before Vileplume can obey. The Flamethrower hits the Flower Pokemon head on
Vileplume!
Vileplume catches on fire
"Ahhhh!" Jessebelle yells
She takes off running with Vileplume chasing after her
"Keep away from me!" Jessebelle yells
Growlie lets out a triumphant howl
"You're the best. Thank you." James says
Growl Growlithe
James' parents are standing on a small bridge over their pond. They are tossing bread crumbs into the water for their Magikarp
"It's lunch time my friends." James' father says
He looks over and sees Jessebelle rushing towards them, "Oh look dear it's Jessebelle."
"Oh Jessebelle. What a refined daughter-in-law she'll be." James' mother says
Jessebelle dashes past them accidentally knocking them both into the pond. Vileplume dives into the water to put out the flames
"Oh I can't stand that Growlithe!" Jessebelle screams
"She's as delicate as a flower." James' father says
"She's much too good for our delinquent boy." James' mother says
The two of them start laughing. James and Growlie are watching from the distance
"Please take care of my parents for me." James asks Growlie, "They need you here."
Growlie nods and James rubs his head, "I'm going to miss you Growlie, but this life doesn't suit me. I'm better off with Team Rocket, where I have my freedom."
Growlie lets out a soft whine and James starts tearing up, "Oh Growlie."
He hugs Growlie, "Please don't cry. It's hard enough to leave you."
The sun is setting. Jessie and Meowth are walking through the woods
"I guess James decided to hang up his Team Rocket uniform." Jessie says sadly
"I guess all that money and luxury was just too tempting for him to give up." Meowth replies sadly
They both look down at the ground
James(voice): Prepare for trouble!
They look up into the sky and see the Meowth balloon floating down towards them. James is standing in the basket
"It's him!" Meowth yells
"James..." Jessie grins
Jessie: Make it double!
The balloon floats past and James helps Jessie into the basket
"I guess we're not gonna get rich this time either." Jessie says
"Guess not. They wouldn't give me the inheritance." James explains
"There's always next time. We may not make a lot of money but we sure have got our freedom." Jessie says
"Yeah." James holds out his hand, "Double trouble time right?"
"Sounds right to me James." She takes his hand and the two smile at each other.
Meowth chases after the balloon, "Wait you forgot Me-owth again!"
Meanwhile the Pokegang are trying to run away from Jessebelle
"Leave us alone already!" Alex yells
"Oh please you've got to help me find my beloved James!" Jessebelle yells
"Believe me miss he's usually the one who finds us!" Ash yells
Pikachu!
"She's relentless!" Misty yells
"You're not running properly!" Jessebelle yells
Brock suddenly trips
"Ah!" He lands on the ground and one of his pokeballs goes flying. It activates and the Pokemon is released
Aero!
"Ah!" Ash and Jessebelle both scream. Jessebelle turns and runs in the other direction while Ash dives to the ground for cover. Aerodactyl swoops around roaring angrily
"Brock quick return it!" Misty yells
Brock grabs the pokeball and returns Aerodactyl. Everyone takes a couple of breaths
"Brock...when did you catch that thing!" Alex yells confused
"I don't know. I guess it must have happened after Jigglypuff put us to sleep." Brock admits confused
"Is it gone?" Ash asks covering his head with his hands
"Yeah it's gone." Misty replies
Chuuu
Ash gets back to his feet, "Thank goodness."
"Brock if you're gonna keep that then you need to get it under control." Alex says
Brock nods and stares at Aerodactyl's pokeball, "I guess this is my first challenge as a Pokemon Breeder."

Me: That episode was weird uh
Alex: Yeah and James, eish your fiancée is the worst
James: I know. I'm so glad I never have to see her again
Me: So Brock caught Aerodactyl. I have two major reasons for why he got it: One it's a rock type and since Brock is the rock specialist I feel it suits him, and two it gives him a nice little mini arc on trying to tame it
