Sorry for the slow update. I've been very sick for the last week so I didn't really work on this too often
pokemonking0924-No major reason really. It was just one of those episodes that I didn't really feel like doing. Yeah I feel for Team Rocket in general and episodes focusing on them are usually some of my favourites.

The Pokegang and the Team Rocket trio have both arrived in O-Hina Town, and just in time for Misty and Jessie's favourite holiday
"It's the Princess Festival!" Misty shouts excitedly to her less than enthusiastic friends. Meanwhile across town Jessie is equally excited while her teammates are equally...unenthusiastic
"This is the one day of the year where you have to do everything I tell you to do." Misty and Jessie explain to their friends
"Everything?" Ash asks Misty
"How's that different from everyday of the year?" James asks Jessie
Alex groans and slumps into his seat, "I hate Princess Festival day. It's just an excuse for the women in our lives to boss us around more than usual."
"Oh cheer up Alex. It's just one day so let Misty have her fun." Brock says
"Shouldn't you be studying up on Aerodactyl?" Alex asks and Brock blushes embarrassed
"I uh..."
"Come on guys. I have so much planned." Misty interrupts excitedly. She grabs Ash and drags him along with her
"Why always me!" Ash yells. Alex, Brock and Pikachu just follow along
"You know she's gonna make us carry all the shopping bags right?" Alex asks Brock
"Yep." Brock replies
Jessie has made James and Meowth carry all her shopping bags to the park outside of town. James and Meowth slump onto the bench exhausted
"Jessie this is boring!" James whines, "I hate this silly festival!"
"Stop complaining. You don't think I'm doing all this shopping just for myself do you?" Jessie asks causing James and Meowth to brighten up
"You bought us gifts?" Meowth asks
"Don't be ridiculous." Jessie replies causing them to slump over again. She digs through her bags and pulls out some packed food and other stuff, "I'm buying lots of gifts for the boss so he won't be mad at us for not catching Pikachu."
"Do you think that would work?" James asks
"Not unless there's a half-priced Pikachu in there." Meowth responds
They hear rustling in the bushes and glance over. A Lickitung emerges
Licki!
"Look it's a Lickitung." James says
Lickitung heads over to them
"I wonder what it wants?" Jessie asks
Lickitung suddenly extends it's long tongue and grabs the food in Jessie's hand. It swallows it whole, package and all
"Hey! Those gifts were meant for the boss!" Jessie yells
Lickitung then starts ripping into her bags and eating all the food
"Stop that!" Jessie yells
Lickitung pulls out some clothing and swallows that too
"No!"
"That is one hungry Pokemon." Meowth says
"Those were original copies of genuine designer fakes!" Jessie yells devastated
Lickitung then starts walking away when Jessie pulls out a pokeball, "Don't think you're just gonna eat and run Lickitung! Go Arbok!"
Cha-bok!
Lickitung extends it's tongue and licks Arbok. The Cobra Pokemon freezes up and collapses
"Huh!" Jessie yells confused
"Arbok is licked." James says
"How dare you!" Jessie yells and tosses a pokeball at Lickitung. It sucks the Pokemon in
wiggle wiggle wiggle ping
"You caught it Jess!" Meowth exclaims surprised
Jessie picks up the pokeball, "I'll deal with you later. Now come on I want to go give my credit cards a good workout."
Jessie walks off. James and Meowth sigh
"The princess shopathon continues."
The Pokegang are eating lunch, or more specifically Misty is eating a bunch of ice cream while everyone else only has a glass of water
"Everything looks so delicious." Misty says, "and it's all for me!"
She starts taking spoonfuls of ice cream while the others just watch on awkwardly
"Gosh Misty. How much can you eat?" Ash asks
"Plenty." Misty responds, "Girls eat for free during the festival."
She glances up at them and notices their lack of food, "Is that all you're having?"
"It's all we can afford." Alex replies
"Oh right." Misty laughs sheepishly
Brock notices a waitress walking past. He sprints over to her, "Excuse me miss!"
He gets down on one knee and offers his hand to her, "Would you allow me to be your prince on this princess day?"
The waitress laughs, "Oh that is so cute. When you grow up big and strong you'll meet a nice girl."
She walks away. Brock lets out a devastated scream and rushes back to the table. He starts shoving spoonfuls of Misty's ice cream into his mouth
"Shot down again huh?" Alex asks
"Look at that sign." Misty points at a billboard across the street from them. Ash and Alex glance over and see it's advertising some movie with famous actor Fiorella Cappuccino
"What about it?" Ash asks confused, "It's just an ad for some actor in some dumb movie?"
"Not that sign. The one next to it." Misty points at another billboard which is advertising a big sale with a 75%-90% discount
"We better hurry."
Misty is fighting with some other women over clothing while Ash, Alex, Brock and Pikachu just watch on the sidelines
"I thought women only acted like this in the movies." Alex says stunned
"I never knew that shopping was such a dangerous sport." Ash snarks
"Hey look at you being snarky. I'm so proud." Alex chuckles
Jessie, James and Meowth are in the same store. Jessie is also fighting over clothes while James and Meowth watch on
"I don't think I'm tough enough to be a woman." James says
Misty grabs a dress from the pile, "Wow this is perfect."
She tries to pull it when someone else yanks from the other side. She looks over and to her shock sees Jessie
"Not you again!" Misty yells
"The little twerp!" Jessie yells shocked
The two start tugging on the dress
"Let go of it kid!" Jessie yells
"You let go! I saw it first!" Misty yells
"You're too scrawny for it to fit!" Jessie yells
"Yeah well you're too fat!" Misty yells causing Jessie to gasp
"How dare you!" Jessie pulls out a pokeball, "Let's settle this in a Pokemon battle!"
Misty pulls out her pokeball, "Fine by me!"
They both let go of the dress and glare at each other. James, Meowth, Ash, Pikachu, Alex and Brock have edged closer. A giant woman suddenly walks past and grabs the dress, "I'll take this."
"Hey that's mine!" Jessie and Misty yell causing the woman to turn back towards them and glare. The two of them gulp
"Sorry I must have been mistaken." Misty says nervously
"Oh that will look divine on you." Jessie says nervously
The woman walks away and the two let out relieved sighs
"Attention Princess Festival shoppers!" The intercom goes off. Jessie and Misty look up
"In just a few minutes we'll be holding the main event of this year's Princess Festival! The Queen of the Princess Festival contest!"
Brock's eyes widen, "I bet there's tons of beautiful girls there!"
Pika Pika!
"The prize for the contest winner will be a beautiful one of a kind collection of Pokemon Princess dolls!"
"Princess dolls!" Misty and Jessie both exclaim excitedly before glancing at each other confused
"And in addition the winner will get their picture taken with screen sensation Fiorella Cappuccino!"
This causes a stampede as all the girls and women in the store suddenly storm towards the exit
"Ah stampede!" Ash yells before him, Alex, Brock, James, Meowth and Pikachu are all trampled
"Say kid why don't we use the contest to resolve our little dispute?" Jessie smirks
"That's fine with me." Misty smirks
"Oh the pain..." Alex groans
Ash, Alex, Brock, Pikachu ,James and Meowth have joined the crowd in anticipation for the Princess Festival contest.
"This is boring!" Alex groans
"It hasn't even started yet." Brock points out
"And I'm already bored." Alex replies
"Wow what a crowd! It certainly looks like quite a Princess Festival Competition this year! Doesn't it Fiorella?" The announcer asks his co-announcer
"Yes it's very exciting." Fiorella replies
"And the winner of our contest must be as poised as a Jynx, sit as serenely as a Jigglypuff, and possess the charm and grace of an Oddish! Now let's meet our Princess Festival contestants!" The announcer gestures at the stage where the curtain starts raising.
The curtain fully raises revealing all the contestants lined up. They are all wearing kimonos and crowns, including Jessie and Misty.
"Huh?" Ash leans forward. Him, Alex, Brock, Pikachu, James and Meowth are all stunned at how beautiful Misty and Jessie look respectively
"Well we certainly seem to have a lovely set of girls assembled this year!" The announcer states, "Don't you agree Fiorella?"
"Yes they're very lovely." Fiorella agrees
"Being so smart and beautiful and talented I shouldn't have a problem winning." Misty smirks. Jessie starts laughing and she glances over at her confused
"I'm sure you'd win the contest little girl." Jessie says, "If they have a puny division."
Misty growls
"Now let's all take a look at the special prize they'll be competing for! Right here!" The announcer points at the back of the stage where a case full of Pokemon dolls starts rising out of the floor
"There's no other like it in the whole world! It's unique! It's antique! It's a beautiful handmade custom crafted one of a kind luxury princess doll set!"
The crowd starts cheering loudly
"I'd like one of those myself." Ash says
"Fiorella!" The girls in the crowd are more excited about the celebrity guest. He smiles at the crowd
"It's good to be here." He says
"Seriously what's the big deal with this guy?" Ash asks
"Clearly he's doing something right. Perhaps I should take notes." Brock muses
Jessie and Misty have their eyes set on the Pokemon dolls
"Pokemon Princess dolls." Jessie says with a tremble in her voice
"The only set in the world." Misty says. The two glance at each other
"What a shame. Putting so much effort into a contest you're going to lose." Jessie says
"We'll see who loses." Misty replies
"Now would all the contestants please prepare their pokeballs?" The announcer requests confusing Jessie and Misty
"Pokeballs?" Misty asks
"Wait you mean this isn't a beauty contest?" Jessie asks
"Oh no! The festival contest winner also has to be a skilled trainer!" The Announcer yells
"Yes!" Alex cheers, "Battles are so much more interesting!"
Fiorella shows a brackets board with pictures of all the contestants on it, "See this is how the contestants match up."
The contestants have been divided into two divisions. The East Division has Misty in it while The West Division has Jessie. The winners of the two divisions will then battle each other in the finals
"All contestants are allowed to use up to a maximum of four Pokemon!" The Announcer yells
Misty and Jessie clench their fists determined, "May the best woman win."
The contestants have gone off to prepare their teams. Misty is going over her Pokemon
"I can't use Horsea and Goldeen. So I'll use Staryu, Starmie, Tentacool and Oddish." Misty says
"What about Psyduck?" Ash asks
"I want to win." Misty replies
"You don't have the best versatility you know." Alex points out
"What do you mean?" Misty asks
"Three out of the four of your team are water types. If someone uses an Electric or Grass type you could be in big trouble." Alex says
"You're right." Misty realizes. She looks thoughtful for a few seconds then an idea strikes her. She turns to her friends and places her hands together, "Please please let me borrow your Pokemon."
Ash and Brock look over at each other
"But Misty the Pokemon won't just listen to any trainer you know" Ash points out
"If you tell them to obey all my instructions they will. Please say yes" Misty begs
"Uh..." Ash is unsure what to say
Pika!
Pikachu hops off of Ash's shoulders and into Misty's arms. Ash doesn't look particularly happy
"Thanks Pikachu." Misty hugs Pikachu. Ash crosses his arms and turns away from them
"You must really want that picture with Fiorella." He grumbles
"I'm doing it for the dollset." Misty says
"The dollset?" Ash asks confused
"You're an only child you wouldn't understand, but when you're the youngest of four sisters having something that only belonged to you was important." Misty starts explaining, "My sisters all had their own princess dolls, but all I got was their broken old hand-me-downs. And they'd say Isn't that great Misty? You get three whole sets of dolls to yourself. But now I'll win my own set of Pokemon Princess Dolls!"
Pikachu!
Brock and Ash just look extremely confused
"It must be a girl thing." Brock whispers to Ash
"Maybe it's not a girl thing. Maybe it's just a Misty thing." Ash replies
Misty spins around to punch Ash but Alex catches her, "Let me at him!"
Ash starts backing away terrified
"Calm down. You can use the Pokemon sheesh." Alex groans
"Yeah we'll help." Ash agrees terrified
They spend about a minute discussing which Pokemon Misty should use
"Alright I'll use Pikachu, Vulpix, Oddish and Starmie." Misty decides

Hoo!
"That's Electric, Fire, Grass and Water." Brock says, "Pretty well rounded."
"Unless someone pulls out a Dragonite or something I think you're guaranteed to win." Alex says
"Thanks guys." Misty says, "Now I'm ready to battle!"
The first battle of the East Division starts. Ash, Alex and Brock are cornering Misty whose opponent sends out a Kingler

"A Kingler!" Ash pulls out his Pokedex to scan it
Kingler the Pincer Pokemon. A Water type. The larger pincer has 10,000- horsepower strength. However, it is so heavy, it is difficult to aim. Kingler is the evolved form of Krabby. This Kingler is Female
"I can't wait to see it battle!" Ash exclaims excitedly as he closes his Pokedex
"Uh Ash the battle's already over." Alex points
"What!" Ash yells confused
He looks up and true enough the battle is over. Pikachu one hit all four of the girl's Water type Pokemon
"Young Misty is off to a very strong start!" The announcer yells
"That's right and I'm gonna have a very strong finish too!" Misty yells
Pika Chu!
Now the West Division's first battle is starting. Jessie is taking on Yumi who has sent out her Primeape. James and Meowth are cornering her
Primeape! Primeape!
"Yumi has sent out her Primeape! Which Pokemon will Jessie send out!" The announcer dramatically asks
Jessie smirks
"What choice do you have?" James asks sarcastically, "All you can use is Arbok."
"Uh ah. You're forgetting something James." Jessie smirks
"What?" James asks before Jessie suddenly snatches Weezing's pokeball from him
"Please Jessie not Weezing!" James practically falls to his knees begging
"Oh get over it!" Jessie yells, "Give me Weepinbell as well!"
"But Jessie-" Jessie snatches the pokeball from him and calls out Weepinbell...who proceeds to jump on her head
"Ah get it off!" Jessie throws Weepinbell back at James, "Keep it! I'll manage without it!"
"But you can't win with just two Pokemon." Meowth points out
"You're forgetting something too Meowth." Jessie kneels down so she's on eye level with him. The two stare into each other's eyes for awhile before the realization strikes Meowth
"I'm a Pokemon too!" He yells
"Glad you remembered!" Jessie grabs Meowth, "Now get in there and battle!"
She tosses him onto the battlefield
"Ahhhhhh!"
"Jessie has chosen a Meowth!" The Announcer yells
Meowth gets back to his feet and dusts himself off, "Alright let's do this!"
He unsheathes his claws. The crowd is murmuring to themselves about the talking Meowth
"Taste my Fury Swipes!" He rushes forward but Primeape punches him and sends him flying out of the battlefield
"And Meowth is out of here!" The Announcer yells
Jessie sighs annoyed, "It was worth a shot. Go Arbok!"
Cha-bok!
Primeape rushes forward to bite Arbok but the Cobra Pokemon bites it's fist. The poison in it's fangs spreads to Primeape and knocks the Pokemon out instantly
"Oh no my Primeape!" Yumi yells
Yumi has no more Pokemon to send out giving Jessie the win. She pumps her fist
"Woohoo! I'm going straight to the top!" She yells
Chabok!
"She might just win this thing." James says surprised
"Me-ouch..." Meowth groans
Misty and Jessie quickly make their way through the division. Pikachu, Vulpix and Oddish do so well that Misty never has to send out Starmie once. On Jessie's side she easily demolishes the competition using Arbok and Weezing. The two continue getting victory after victory until they reach the final round
"Well it's down to just Misty and Jessie." Ash says
"I doubt either one is giving up." Alex says
Misty and Jessie are glaring at each other from across the battlefield
"Those Princess dolls are mine." Jessie says
"We'll just see about that." Misty says
"Is she getting in your way?" James asks
"You want us to take her out?" Meowth asks in a threatening tone
"I can handle her." Jessie replies confidently
"Jessie you don't actually mean you're gonna play by the rules?" James asks concerned
"This brings back bad memories," Jessie starts tearing up, "I hated those Princess Festivals so much. I was the only girl who never had a princess doll. Every year I used to get so sad when I knew the festival was coming."
"I always thought every girl loved da Princess Festival." Meowth says shocked
"The Princess Festival just reminded me of what I never had." Jessie starts crying
James starts tearing up as well. He sniffs, "Well Jessie. I hope this year will be different."
He takes her hands, "I hope you win those dolls."
Meowth wipes some tears away, "Meowth too."
"I'll do my very best." Jessie replies before all three of them burst into tears. Their crying is interrupted by the ringing of the bell
"Well we're down to the finals!" The Announcer yells
"Indeed. Finals are fantastic." Fiorella says
Jessie and Misty get ready to battle. Arbok, Weezing and Meowth are out on Jessie's side while Pikachu, Oddish and Vulpix are out on Misty's side
"Undefeated champion of the Eastern Division Misty battles champion of the Western Division Jessie! Who will be the victor?" The announcer yells
"I'm gonna be the victor what kind of dumb question is that!" Jessie yells furiously
"Uh uh..." The announcer stammers nervously
Fiorella just continues smiling
"Jessie! Jessie!" James and Meowth are cheering. They've even gone so far as to bust out their old cheer squad uniforms, "She's the best! Let's go Jess!"
"Arbok go!" Jessie yells
"Pikachu go!" Misty yells
The two Pokemon leap onto the battlefield
"Misty's opening the battle with Pikachu but Jessie's Arbok may have the advantage!" The announcer yells
"May have?" Jessie yells
"Jessie's Arbok does have the advantage..." The announcer corrects himself
Arbok wraps Pikachu up in it's tail
"Thunderbolt!" Misty yells
Pikachuuuuuu!
Pikachu lets out a powerful Thunderbolt causing Arbok to scream in pain and faint from the attack
"Ah!" Jessie yells, "Weezing get that Pikachu!"
Weezing floats onto the battlefield only to be instantly knocked out by a Thunderbolt
"Ah! That was a lucky shock! Go Meowth!"
Meowth hops onto the battlefield, "Meowth can handle anything."
He gets hit by a Thunderbolt. He staggers around dizzily, "Except a Thunderbolt from dat Pikachu..."
And he faints
"No. Jessie can't lose!" James exclaims
Jessie looks devastated, "I can't believe it's over..."
"It seems Jessie has no more Pokemon to send out!" The Announcer yells
"It's not over..." Meowth says weakly
"Huh?" Jessie looks down at Meowth
"You still got that Lickitung remember..."
"I forgot." Jessie takes out Lickitung's pokeball, "Lickitung!"
"That's right! You can still win!" James yells, "It's not over as long as you have a Pokemon left."
Jessie smirks and stares ahead determined, "I can almost taste victory. Lickitung go!"
Tung!
The Pokegang gasp in shock
"They got a new Pokemon?" Misty asks shocked
Ash pulls out his pokedex to scan it
Lickitung the Licking Pokemon. A Normal type. Its tongue spans almost 7 feet and moves more freely than its forelegs. Its licks can cause paralysis. Lickitung evolves into Lickilicky. This Lickitung is Female
"Becareful Misty!" Ash yells, "Don't let it lick anyone!"
"Got it! Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Misty yells
Pikachu prepares a Thunderbolt when Lickitung suddenly shoots out it's tongue and licks him

Pikachu staggers around dizzily and Lickitung smacks it across the field
Pikachuuuu!
Pikachu slams into the ground next to Misty
"Ah Pikachu!" Misty yells
"Pikachu is out! Lickitung is leading Jessie to a major upset!" The Announcer yells excitedly
"This is exciting." Fiorella says in the same tone he has been using throughout the entire competition
"Misty's in trouble." Ash says concerned
"Yeah. Jessie might pull it off." Brock agrees
"Honestly...I'm kind of rooting for her." Alex admits
"What!" Ash starts shaking him, "You have to root for Misty!"
"Oddish go!" Misty yells and Oddish hops onto the battlefield
Oddish!
"Use Sleep Powder!"
Oddish is about to let out some powder when Lickitung licks it
Odd...
Oddish becomes dizzy
"Oh no Oddish!"
Lickitung lifts it up and throws it
Oddissshhhhhh!
Misty manages to catch him
"And Oddish is out too!" The announcer yells
"Two down and two to go!" Jessie yells
"Vulpix go and use Flamethrower!" Misty yells
Vulpix leaps onto the battlefield...and is immediately licked by Lickitung
Vulpix!
"Vulpix no!" Brock yells as Vulpix is knocked out as well
"This could be one of the greatest comebacks in Pokemon history!" The announcer yells, "Now Misty only has one Pokemon left to stop this Lickitung! Or Jessie will walk away Queen of the Princess Festival!"
"Hey Lickitung win one more and it's all you can eat on me!" Jessie yells
Lickitung's stomach starts growling

Misty grabs Starmie's pokeball, "It's all up to you. Go my steady!"
However before she can actually toss the pokeball a beam of light shoots out of her bag and Psyduck pops onto the battlefield

"Ah!" Misty yells
"It's Psyduck!" Ash yells
"And Misty chooses a Psyduck! Will this Pokemon be able to pull off the win!" The Announcer yells
"It's going to be disappointing beating such a pathetic Pokemon, but a win's a win. Slurp away Lickitung!" Jessie orders and Lickitung sticks it's tongue out. It licks Psyduck...who doesn't react at all
Psyduck?
Lickitung licks it again but Psyduck once again shrugs it off
"Huh?" Jessie says confused
"What's up with Psyduck?" Ash asks
"I say it's rather what's not up." Alex says, "Psyduck doesn't seem to even notice Lickitung."
"This is incredible!" The announcer yells, "Lickitung's Lick attack isn't working against Psyduck!"
"Wow. Just like in the movies." Fiorella says
"Lickitung finish it off!" Jessie yells
Lickitung wraps it's tongue around Psyduck and tries licking it again and once more Psyduck ignores it

"Nice work Psyduck!" Misty yells
Psyduck tilts his head confused
"Now it's time to fight back! Use Water Gun!"
Psyduck just stares at her blankly
Duck
Misty hangs her head in shame, "I knew this was too good to be true."
"I'm not gonna let that little quack cost me this contest!" Jessie yells, "Lickitung prepare for Tackle attack!"
Lickitung prepares to attack
Lickitung!
However it's stomach growls again and it stops moving. Jessie falls to her knees
"Awwww!"
"I've never seen anything like it!" The announcer yells, "The Pokemon are totally ignoring their trainers!"
"This guy has never met Psyduck." Alex says
Lickitung sticks it's tongue out and starts licking Psyduck all over. Psyduck clenches his eyes shut annoyed and swats at Lickitung's tongue
Psyduck! Psyduck!
It clutches it's head and groans in pain
"Something's happening. Psyduck doesn't look so hot!" The announcer yells
"It looks like it has a headache to me." Fiorella says
Psyduck!
"Misty!" Ash yells, "Remember what happens when Psyduck has a headache!"
Misty's head shoots up, "Psychic powers! Psyduck use Confusion!"
Psyduck's eyes glow and Lickitung starts glowing as well. The Licking Pokemon's eyes become dazed and when it tries to shoot it's tongue out it accidentally grabs it's own foot and trips itself
Tung!
"Lickitung what are you doing!" Jessie yells
"Now Psychic!" Misty yells
Lickitung is lifted into the air and thrown towards Jessie
"Ah!" Lickitung hits Jessie sending them both flying and knocked into the ground
"Jessie no!" James yells
"It's over! The winner of the festival competition is Misty!" The Announcer yells
The crowd cheers and claps loudly
"I won!" Misty cheers
"Misty has become our new Princess Festival Queen!" The Announcer yells
"Misty is so magnificent." Fiorella says
"I don't like him." Ash mumbles
Misty looks at the Princess Dolls, "Finally I have my very own dollset."
"Good going Misty!" Ash yells
"Congratulations." Brock says
"I couldn't have done it without Psyduck!"
Psyduck?
Misty is having her dolls delivered through Pidgeot Transport. She has packed the dolls into a box and posted the address on it
"You're sending them back home?" Ash asks confused
"Right back to the Cerulean gym." Misty smirks, "I'd like to see the look on my sisters' faces."
Ash, Brock and Alex just glance at each other
"They'll be pretty jealous." Ash says
"I bet that's the best prize of all." Alex says
The box is placed in the back of the delivery truck and the driver heads off
"Becareful with them!" Misty waves goodbye
"So can we see the picture with Fiorella?" Alex asks
"Do we have to?" Ash asks annoyed
"Oh yeah sure." Misty takes out the picture which has Fiorella posing with her and Psyduck.
"Wow. He has the exact same expression as the poster." Brock says
"It's because he's a bad actor." Ash says
"He even signed it." Misty points to the signature in the corner
"Big deal." Ash rolls his eyes
"Oh cheer up Ash." Alex chuckles, "Today was surprisingly fun, you know for a Princess Festival."
Jessie is sulking in the middle of the park.
"I lost the dolls..." A tear rolls down her cheek

Lickitung licks her affectionately...and accidentally paralyzes her
"Ah! Thanks for trying to cheer me up..."
James and Meowth approach her nervously. They're both wearing kimonos
"Jessie." Meowth says nervously
"Hmm?" Jessie looks at them confused
"Since you didn't win the real dollset..." James starts explaining
Team Rocket and all their Pokemon are dressed in kimonos and standing in a make-shift dollset stand.
"You're all a bunch of living dolls." Jessie says genuinely touched
It's been three days since the Princess Festival and other than a brief stop at a school during Kid's Day, the group have been on the move. They are taking some time to rest in a beautiful meadow. Brock and Ash are busy polishing their respective eggs
"You see Ash if you wipe it this way you cover more ground." Brock explains
"Oh yeah I see. Thanks for the advice Brock." Ash says
Alex is scrolling through his pokedex until he comes across a Pokemon
"Is this it Brock?" He shows the pokedex to Brock who nods
"Yeah that's the one." Brock replies
Misty, who has been digging through her bag, looks over at them, "What are you guys looking at?"
"There are rumours that a Farfetch'd has been sighted around here." Brock tells her. Misty heads over and glances at the Pokedex
"It looks like it's holding a leek in it's hand." Misty observes
"Yeah I wonder why." Ash says
Alex presses a button on the Pokedex
Farfetch'd the Wild Duck Pokemon. A Normal/Flying type. Lives where reedy plants grow. They are rarely seen, so it's thought their numbers are decreasing.
"Farfetch'd cooked with leek makes a delicious stew." Brock explains, "That's why they're so rare. Too many people have been hunting them."
"People have no sense of self control." Alex says
"Alex you're drooling." Misty points out disgusted
Alex wipes the drool off his chin, "Sorry I was thinking about Farfetch'd stew."
Ash packs his egg away before hopping to his feet excitedly, "If Farfetch'd is so rare then I'll catch it! Where should we look first?"
Brock looks over the map, "There's a spring nearby and we need to fill up our water bottles so we might as well head there first."
Misty grabs her water bottle and heads over to Brock, "Brock could you fill up my bottle for me? I'd like to rest a bit more."
"Sure Misty." Brock takes the bottle from her. Him, Ash, Alex and Pikachu head off. Misty takes a seat on a rock
(My legs are so tired) She groans
Psy
She glances over at Psyduck who has sitting quietly the whole time
Psy aye aye
"Psyduck I don't have the energy to deal with you." Misty lifts up her bag to get Psyduck's pokeball
Farfarfar
"Hmm?" Misty looks over at the sound and sees a Farfetch'd has wandered out from the trees and into the meadow. It's marching like it's the leader of a marching band, waving it's leek in the air
Far far Farfetch'd Farfarfar Farfetch'd
"Wow I don't believe it!" Misty hops to her feet
Farfetch'd marches past her before spinning in place and marching back the way it came. It stops before reaching the trees, spins, and starts marching back towards Misty. It stops right in front of her and twirls it's leek
"Look at that!" Misty exclaims
Farfetch'd tosses the leek into the air and catches it before striking a pose
Farfetch'd!
"That's the coolest Pokemon ever!" Misty yells
Psyduck?
She glances around and giggles to herself, "Since the others are gone I might as well catch it myself."
Farfetch'd suddenly takes off running back into the woods
"Hey come back here little Farfetch'd!" She returns Psyduck and takes off running, bag gripped in her hand. She rushes through the woods
"Where are you hiding Farfetch'd!" She yells
Farfetch'd pops out from behind a rock

"There you are!"
It takes off running again
"Wait!" Misty chases after it. The Farfetch'd goes around a corner and as Misty runs around it she suddenly collides with a boy
"Oww!" They both fall to the ground and Misty drops her bag
"That hurt!" The boy groans before noticing Misty. He hops to his feet and helps her up, "I'm sorry. Are you ok?"
"Yeah." Misty replies
"It's my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going." He rubs the back of his head
"I wasn't paying attention either." Misty admits, "I was chasing a Pokemon."
"Oh." The boy bends down to pick up Misty's bag. He offers it to her, "Here you go."
"Thanks." Misty takes the bag from him
"See ya." He runs off deep into the woods. Misty glances around but can't find any sight of Farfetch'd
"Uh now I lost track of Farfetch'd." She kicks a rock out of frustration before turning around and heading back to the meadow. The others have already returned by the time she gets back
"There she is!" Ash yells
Misty hasn't noticed them yet as she's still sulking over Farfetch'd
"How could I let it get away..."
"Misty!" They yell startling her
"Where'd you run off to?" Ash asks
"Oh I found a Farfetch'd and tried to capture it but it got away." Misty admits
"You tried to capture it!" They yell
Pika!
"Have you been sneaking around behind our backs?" Brock accuses
"O-Ofcourse not." Misty quickly says, "If I had caught it it would have been all of ours."
"Yeah right." Alex replies
"Anyway Farfetch'd is an incredible Pokemon." Misty clasps her hands together, "It's so cute and it twirls it's leek like a baton!"
The others just look at her confused
"No lie?" Ash asks
"I'm telling the truth this time." Misty replies
"This time!" Ash asks
"Oops." Misty blushes
"Here I brought you your water." Brock offers her the water bottle
"Thanks Brock." Misty slips her bag off her shoulder. She grabs the water bottle from Brock and opens her bag
"Ah!"
"What's wrong?" Ash asks
"This isn't my bag!" She yells
"What do you mean?" Alex asks
"Look." She empties the bag and the only stuff that comes out are a couple of rocks wrapped in paper
"I must have picked up the wrong backpack!"
The boy is walking through the woods with Misty's backpack around his shoulder. Farfetch'd is walking along with him
"Nice work back there Farfetch'd." He says
Flashback
Misty collides with the boy knocking them both to the ground. Her bag and the boy's bag which look identical are both knocked to the ground. Farfetch'd grabs her bag from the bushes nearby and pulls it in
Flashback ends
"Let's see what she has in here." He opens the bag, "Look at all these pokeballs. We hit the jackpot!"
"How could this happen!" Misty yells, "I had all the Pokemon I ever caught in that backpack!"
Misty starts crying
The boy, whose name is Keith, has returned to his camp in the middle of the woods. He is inside his tent where he has added Misty's backpack to the other stolen backpacks
"Seven more Pokemon to the collection." He says to himself. He takes a seat and starts tossing a pokeball into the air absentmindedly
"I should probably move out soon. Before someone tracks me down." He says to the air
Farfetch'd Farfetch'd!
Farfetch'd runs into the tent
"What is it Farfetch'd?" Keith asks
Farfetch'd points outside with his leek
"You found more trainers? Show me to them." Keith gets to his feet and follows his Farfetch'd. He can see Team Rocket wandering around close to his campsite
"Are you sure there are Farfetch'd out here?" Meowth asks
"Trust me." James replies, "We'll find some."
"I hear people are spotting Farfetch'd in this forest all the time." Jessie says
Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!
"Huh?"
"What's that!" Meowth yells
Farfetch'd marches towards them
Farfarfar Farfetch'd Farfetch'd Fetch Fetch
"What an amazing luck. We look for it and it comes to us." Jessie says
"It tastes good and has good taste." James says
"And it looks so happy to see us." Meowth says
Farfetch'd!
Keith approaches them, "Hi. It sounds like you guys like my Farfetch'd"
"It's your Farfetch'd?" Meowth asks
"It already has a master." James says
The three of them slump over depressed
"We'll just beat up the kid and steal the Farfetch'd." Jessie whispers to them
"Right. On three." James replies, "One...two..."
"But this is just perfect." Keith speaks up, "I was just planning on releasing my Farfetch'd. You guys want to make a deal with me?"
"For that Farfetch'd?" Meowth asks
"Yeah. I also have a Starmie and a Staryu in this backpack." Keith gestures to the bag on his back, "You can have all three of them."
"Why are you so willing to give away your Pokemon?" Jessie asks suspiciously
"I'm tired of raising Pokemon." Keith says, "Pokemon training just isn't for me. And since you three seem like such good trustworthy people I'll be happy to give them to you."
The trio try to stop themselves from laughing
"Yes we're definitely trustworthy." Jessie says
"Wouldn't hurt a Caterpie. Honest." James says
"I don't even know the meaning of the word dishonesty." Meowth says
"That's great!" Keith exclaims, "What luck that I just ran into you."
"Yes the world sure is mysterious." Jessie says
"Come I even have a boat for you." Keith leads them to the river nearby. A small boat has been tied to the shore
"Farfetch'd you will go with these nice people from now on." Keith says
Far Farfetch'd
"And here you go." Keith hands James his bag
"Ooh it's heavy." James says
"Goodbye!" Keith runs off into the woods. Team Rocket then start laughing
"What a sucker!" Meowth yells
"I can't believe he just gave us these Pokemon!" James yells
"We're eating well tonight!" Jessie yells
They grab Farfetch'd and hop into the boat. They head down the river
"This was the easiest theft in Team Rocket history." Meowth says
"Maybe that's the key to our success. We just let good things happen to bad people." Jessie says
James laughs, "We found our winning formula."
Farfetch'd suddenly pulls a cork out of the boat. It was being used to plug a hole and the boat starts filling with water
"Quick plug that hole before we sink!" Meowth yells
Jessie and James try to cover the hole
"The kid rigged the boat!" Jessie yells
Farfetch'd hops out of the boat before it capsizes. Team Rocket are knocked underwater but resurface. They grab onto the side of the boat but all their pokeballs have been knocked off and are floating down the river
"Arbok, Seaking and Lickitung are floating away!" Jessie yells
"Weezing and Weepinbell too!" James yells
"Quick use the Staryu and Starmie to get them!" Meowth yells
"Right." Jessie digs in the bag which is on her back but only pulls out rocks, "It's just rocks!"
"He tricked us!" James yells
Farfetch'd swims over with a bag on it's back. It uses it's leek to grab Team Rocket's pokeballs
"That Farfetch'd is stealing our Pokemon!" James yells
Farfetch'd starts swimming away
"Get back here!" Jessie yells
Farfetch'd suddenly smacks them across the face with it's leek. They lose their grip on the boat and are swept up in the tide
"Ah!"
They are carried all the way to the waterfall. Farfetch'd meanwhile swims over to the shore where Keith is waiting. He helps it onto land
"Nice work Farfetch'd." Keith counts the pokeballs, "That's five more Pokemon."
The Pokegang have reported the incident to an Officer Jenny stationed outside the forest
"And then he ran off. I think he might have taken my backpack by accident." Misty finishes
"The Farfetch'd came and then did a trick?" Officer Jenny asks
"Yeah." Misty replies
"I'm sorry but that was no accident."
"What do you mean by that?" Misty asks confused
"This has happened before?" Ash asks
"You're the fifth victim of that boy and his Farfetch'd this week." Jenny explains causing Misty to gasp. Officer Jenny shows them a sign with a picture of Farfetch'd and the words 'Beware' underneath it
"Recently trainers have been reporting that their backpacks have been stolen or gone missing after an encounter with a Farfetch'd in these woods. The boy uses his Farfetch'd to distract the trainers and then he takes their backpacks." Officer Jenny explains
"Officer Jenny you have to help me!" Misty yells, "All my Pokemon were in that backpack!"
"Just like the last victims. I'll do what I can but I've been trying to catch this boy for awhile now and have had no luck. He doesn't stay in the same location for long." Officer Jenny replies
Keith and Farfetch'd are sitting around a lit fire cooking some lunch
"We've been together for a long time now huh Farfetch'd." Keith notes
Far Farfetch'd
"You remember how we met right? You were injured on the side of the road and I nursed you back to health."
Farfetch'd!
Keith sighs, "I wish we didn't have to steal but how else are we gonna survive? You're just too weak to battle..."
Meanwhile inside the tent Misty's bag starts wiggling. Psyduck pops out of his pokeball
Psyduck?
Psyduck looks around the tent confused. He looks at Misty's bag
Psy...
He peaks out of the tent and sees Keith and Farfetch'd. They have their backs to him
Psy...duck
He slips away into the woods
Team Rocket have retrieved their balloon and are now searching for Keith
"We'll find that no good crook and show him what good crooks do!" Meowth yells
"Yeah! And I can't believe he tricked us so easily!" James yells causing Jessie to punch him. He falls out of the balloon but grabs onto the basket
"It's because you were stupid enough to believe him!" Jessie yells
"But Meowth is the one who fell for it in the first place!" James yells, "Now please help me up!"
"Let's not fight! We have to find that thief!" Meowth yells
Misty has led Officer Jenny and the rest of the Pokegang to the spot where she ran into Keith
"This is it. This is the place I ran into him." Misty says
"Maybe he lives somewhere nearby." Brock theorizes
Misty clenches her fists angrily, "I can't believe he stole all of my Pokemon. Goldeen, Staryu, Starmie, Oddish, Tentacool, Horsea, even Psyduck."
Psyduck
"Hmm?" Misty looks around startled. Psyduck emerges from the bushes
Psyduck
"It's Psyduck!" Misty runs over to Psyduck and hugs the dopey Pokemon, "I'm so happy to see you! I missed you so much!"
Duck?
Misty lifts Psyduck up and stares into his eyes, "How did you get back here?"
Psyduck?
"Where's my backpack now?"
Psyduck?
"What about the other Pokemon?"
Psyduck?
"Well where did he take you?"
Psyduck?
"Well then how did you get away?"
Psyduck?
"Where's the guy who stole you?"
Psyduck?
"And where's that Farfetch'd?"
Psyduck?
"Come on you dumb duck! Start thinking straight!" Misty yells
Misty drops Psyduck and clutches her head, "Oh you're giving me a headache!"
Psyduck?
Psyduck is trying to lead them back to Keith's campsite. Emphasis on the word trying
"Ok Psyduck tell us which way to go. Left or right?" Misty points at the branching paths ahead
Psy Psyduck?
Misty starts shaking Psyduck, "What's wrong with you! Can't you remember anything!"
"Misty chill out." Ash says
"Yeah Misty you've gotta relax." Brock says, "Psyduck is trying the hardest it can to remember."
Psyduck points to the left path
"The left?" Brock asks
"Are you sure about this?" Misty asks
Psyduck?
"Following directions from Psyduck doesn't seem like a good idea." Alex mumbles
Pikachu
Keith has packed up and is preparing to head out
"Alright Farfetch'd it's time to go."
Fetch'd
They're about to walk off when...
"There he is!" Meowth yells
Keith jumps startled and looks into the sky. Team Rocket land their balloon in front of him
"Hold it buster!" James yells
"You won't get away now!" Jessie yells
"What are you doing here?" Keith asks nervously
"You thought you could get away with it didn't you?" James asks
"Sinking that boat and stealing our Pokemon." Jessie says
"Now you're gonna pay for making fools of us!" Meowth yells
Keith laughs nervously, "Hang on a minute. Hey can't you guys take a joke?
Keith bends down and opens a bag, "Here I'll give you guys your Pokemon back ok."
He hands them back their pokeballs
"This isn't good enough!" Jessie yells
"Yeah you tried to steal from us and now you have to pay!" James yells
"Hold on. How about I give you an apology gift?" Keith asks
"An apology gift?" They ask
"Here." Keith hands them one of his bags, "You can have all the Pokemon in here. I've got quite a few."
James unzips the bag and sees it's full of pokeballs, "Wow there are alot in here."
"Go ahead and take them. And my apology along with it." Keith offers
"Well since he's being so generous..." Jessie says
"We'll have to forgive him." Meowth finishes
"I'm glad I ran into you." Keith says, "I was planning on moving anyway but I had too much stuff to carry. So take them and goodluck."
Team Rocket take the bag and get back into their balloon. They start rising into the air
"What a hull!" They yell and dump all the pokeballs into the basket
"Well it looks like the kid wasn't so bad afterall." James says
Keith and Farfetch'd are waving goodbye as Team Rocket float away. Psyduck and the others arrive

"That's the kid." Misty says angrily, "Good job Psyduck."
Psy aye aye
"Well I guess we better get going." Keith says

"Stop right there!" Misty yells startling Keith, "Give me back my Pokemon!"
"Oh no!" Keith turns to make a run for it but Officer Jenny and Brock cut him off
"You're under arrest for Grand Theft Pokemon!" Jenny yells
"Your crime spree is over!" Brock yells
Keith looks around and realizes he is surrounded
"What made you think it was ok to steal other people's Pokemon?" Ash asks angrily, "We've worked really hard to raise our Pokemon!"
"We had no choice!" Keith yells, "Farfetch'd is too weak to battle. It was the only way I could get more Pokemon..."
"Wait what? Please explain your plan?" Alex asks confused
"I need Pokemon to battle, but I can't use Farfetch'd since it's too weak and I can't catch others...I had no other way." Keith explains
"And you just assumed these Pokemon would listen to you?" Alex asks
"Uh yeah. I'm kind of new to Pokemon training." Keith answers
"You're kind of a moron you know that." Alex says
Farfetch'd!
Farfetch'd starts waving it's leek around angrily
Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!
"Farfetch'd what's wrong?" Keith asks confused
"It seems mad." Ash says
"I think it's mad with Alex." Brock says
Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!
Farfetch'd points it's leek at Alex
"It looks like it wants to battle." Ash says
Farfetch'd nods. Alex smirks and pulls out a pokeball
"Alright then. I'll teach this bird a lesson. Go Charmeleon!"
Char!
"Wait no! Farfetch'd can't battle!" Keith pleads
Farfetch'd however steps forward determined
"Farfetch'd..."
"Charmeleon use Slash!" Alex yells
Charmeleon rushes forward and tries to slash Farfetch'd but the Wild Duck jumps into the air and glides over it
"Farfetch'd stop this!" Keith yells
"Charmeleon Flamethrower!" Alex yells
Charmeleon lets out a stream of fire hitting Farfetch'd head on
Farfetch'd!
"No!" Keith yells
"Atleast now you know the right way to catch Pokemon in the wild!" Misty yells at Keith
Farfetch'd is knocked to the ground
Far...
"Farfetch'd stop! You can't win this!" Keith yells
Farfetch'd gets back to it's feet. It suddenly starts running towards Charmeleon at an incredible speed. Charmeleon fires another Flamethrower but Farfetch'd easily dodges
"Huh!" Keith yells confused
"It's gotten so fast all of a sudden!" Alex yells
"It must have used Agility." Brock says
Farfetch'd gets close to Charmeleon and whacks it across the face with it's leek
Charmeleon!
Farfetch'd starts speeding around Charmeleon and whacking it from all sides. Charmeleon growls in pain and tries to slash at it but he can't keep up
Char! Charmeloen Char!
Farfetch'd smacks Charmeleon hard on top of his head
Char!
Charmeleon sways on his feet before falling backwards and fainting
"I can't believe it!" Alex yells
Farfetch'd!
Farfetch'd starts twirling it's leek around in celebration. Alex growls and returns his Charmeleon
"I didn't know Farfetch'd could do that." Keith says amazed, "If I had known it was this strong I wouldn't have used it to steal..."
"You can't judge a Pokemon by the way it looks." Brock lectures Keith
"You're right..." Keith says shamefully, "I should have actually trained with Farfetch'd instead of assuming it was weak"
"Well I'm glad you learnt your lesson." Brock says, "Now maybe-"
"Hold it!" Misty yells. She steps forward, "I want to battle that Farfetch'd!"
"Sure go ahead." Alex says
Misty gets ready to battle...then remembers she doesn't have any pokeballs, "Oh right I haven't gotten my Pokemon back yet"
Alex groans, You're starting to sound like Ash."
"What does that mean?" Ash asks
Psyduck suddenly steps forward to battle
"Psyduck?" Misty asks
Far!
Farfetch'd starts laughing the sight of Psyduck. It walks closer and starts repeatedly smacking Psyduck across the head. Psyduck clenches it's eyes shut to try and deal with the pain
Farfarfarfarfar!
Psssssssssyyyyy
Psyduck's eyes open revealing they're glowing. A blue light surrounds Farfetch'd who freezes in place
"Farfetch'd what's wrong!" Keith yells
"Yes Psyduck's psychic power!" Misty cheers
Farfetch'd is lifted into the air and thrown towards Keith
"Ah!" Keith yells as Farfetch'd slams into him. Both of them are sent flying and slam into the ground
"You did it Psyduck!" Misty cheers
Psyduck!
Team Rocket meanwhile are still admiring their pokeball collection
"I'm embarrassed for ever doubting that kid." James says
"Let's open up these pokeballs and discover what kind of great Pokemon he gave us." Meowth says
They open the pokeballs revealing that it's nothing but Voltorb
"Oh no!" They yell
The Voltorb all start glowing
"Quick dump them overboard!" Jessie yells and they start tossing the Voltorb out of the basket
Keith and Farfetch'd are still recovering when the Voltorb start hitting the ground and exploding
"Ahhhhh!" Keith screams
Farfetch'd!
The two grab onto each other terrified
"I'm sorry! I won't do anything bad anymore! I promise!" Keith yells
Farfetch'd Far!
The Voltorb stop coming
The sun is starting to set. Everyone has moved over to the police station. Keith has handed over all the bags he stole to Officer Jenny
"Forgive me." He lowers his head, "I'll give back all the Pokemon I stole."
"I got in touch with all the victims and they agreed not to press charges as long as they get their Pokemon back." Officer Jenny explains
"That's good." Keith says
Misty has her bag around her shoulder again, "It's great to have my backpack back."
"It was wrong to steal." Keith says, "And it was wrong not to believe in Farfetch'd."
Fetch Farfar
"From now on I'll train Farfetch'd to become stronger, like a Pokemon trainer should." Keith says, "Goodbye everyone, and take care."
Keith and Farfetch'd head out
"You know after all that, I still want a Farfetch'd of my own." Misty says
"Who knows? Maybe one day you'll get one." Ash says
Team Rocket are floating along in their balloon
"Are you sure you want to tell da boss about this?" Meowth asks
"Team Rocket can't allow anyone to steal Pokemon. That's our job." James says
"Right." Jessie agrees
"Wrong." Meowth declares, "If we tell the boss how the kid outsmarted us then he'll want to make him part of Team Rocket."
James and Jessie's eyes widen
"And then he'd be in..." James trails off
"And we'd be out." Jessie finishes
"Exactly." Meowth says
"Oh no!" They yell
"Then we just tell him nothing." James decides
"Yeah absolutely nothing about that kid or his Farfetch'd." Jessie agrees
"Precisely. That's what we'll do." Meowth agrees
