"Hmm…" Sorano said. "What do you know, that was almost half-decent." Lucy grinned. Cobra fought the urge to snort. He could feel Sorano's mind churning. She was on the edge of a decision, tipping back and forth, just like he was sure her leg was, swinging lazily from where it was crossed. Nervously, he started to write something to show to Lucy (he certainly didn't want now to be when he was revealed to her on-screen), but before he got past the first word, Lucy spoke up.

"We do try our best to give helpful advice, although we know not everyone will follow it," a wink at Cobra, who gave a questioning eyebrow raise, "we always hope you do, or at least consider it, as you tackle your relationship problems." Then she gave a light laugh. "Really, though, sometimes I swear people just like to come here and talk for a little while!"

While Cobra thought Lucy might be crossing the lines of professionalism (not that the entire booth wasn't a huge mockery of professionalism), something in her words must have struck a chord with Sorano, because suddenly Cobra heard her thoughts shift. A quiet sigh that only he could hear left her, and with that came the decision she'd been debating on since Lucy started talking.

"…Ah, what the hell." Cobra squirmed in his seat, already anticipating what she was about to say next. "So sorry to disappoint you Doctor, but what I said was entirely made up."
