"I believe you," Lucy said. "And I think there's enough here to get a grasp on how these two work. If you'd wait a moment, I'll straighten out my thoughts and can produce some advice on them."
"Hmm, sounds good…" Sorano trailed off, her thoughts suddenly arriving confused. "Hold on, I nearly forgot. You said 'we' earlier. There are two of you, right? A nice one, and a gruffer one. Is that one the assistant, Fix-It, or whatever? Where are they right now?"
"Oh, well…" Lucy glanced over at Cobra, who tried his very best to communicate the sheer no-ness of his involvement in all this. He regretted not getting under the table while he had the chance. Sorano still hadn't seen or heard him on lacrima, otherwise, she would have been much more accusatory about another presence being there. Unless she did know and just didn't care. Oh, Zeref…
"Uh, well, as it turns out…Fix-It's away right now…they probably won't be back for a while, and I know you're busy…" Cobra nodded as Lucy meandered on. Yes. Perfect. He was away and wouldn't be back until much, much later. Possibly forever, even.
"Hmm, that so," Sorano said, not sounding particularly convinced. And then, a thought that made Cobra's blood freeze solid, I can always come back later and see if they're in then. Or I could get inside and snoop around the building. Jellal can whine all he wants after I get results. Plus, this place is probably like, barely legal anyway. Not even a real crime.
Well, shit.
