AN1: Hello Everyone and Welcome to another chapter of Twilight Fantasy. I am Champblaze your writer and I am back. Thank you to everyone who have read, followed and favorited, also those who have reviewed. To Just Guess, I already have in mind the final spot for Naruto's group but I can use your OC ideas. As of this chapter being posted I am already close to finishing chapter 15. I have two major arcs one in Icewind dale and Cadia before Konoha comes a knocking. So I can try to use them there. Mr E Guest, just like Just Guess I'll try use them in these two Arcs said above. As for the ghost, I could do that as Naruto will further train in Cadia to better use his Aura. He could meet Kushina there and she reveals that her father was originally from the West. The Uzushio thing I don't know about. Akatsuki I plan to change things up a little but I can say Pein won't come to Konoha to destroy it. Anyway sorry for the long author's note. Now Let's Start the Fucking Ruckus.

Naruto softly groans in his bed and his arm drapes over something, "Mmm.. Isane.. That's right... Pour that maple syrup... All over my breakfast.. You beautiful Goddess who lives in my house" he whispers, thick with sleep before something wet touches his face. Naruto open his eyes to see ghost panting inches from his face with his tongue lolling out his mouth, "Ghost!.. What are you doing in here boy" naruto chuckles, scratching the wolf behind the ears. The wolf merely barks in response and his tail wagging excitedly as naruto sits up, rubbing his eyes free of sleep. A dull throbbing pulses in his temples as a minor headache lingers from the previous night's festivities.

"Damn.. Too much Ale last night" naruto mutters, squinting against the morning sunlight filtering through the curtains while massaging his forehead. Ghost whines while nuzzling naruto's hand and his warm breath tickling the blond's skin. Naruto couldn't help but smile while scratching under the wolf's chin, "Alright.. Alright.. I'm up" he chuckles, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. Naruto yawns and stretches as his muscles pops after a night spent on the soft bed, "Isane must be downstairs" he mutters, running a hand through his tousled blond locks. Naruto rises to his feet and makes his way toward the washroom while ghost pads dutifully at his heels. Naruto splashes his face with cool but refreshing water helping to chase away the lingering tendrils of his hangover after relieving himself and brushing his teeth.

"I wonder if Cedric is awake" naruto thought, toweling off and grabbing a loose-fitting tank top before heading downstairs. He is guided by the tantalizing aroma of isane's cooking wafting through the air. He reaches the bottom of the stairs, the sound of laughter reaching his ears and naruto couldn't help but grin at the familiar voices of tomoe, mio but also nazira. Naruto's steps falter when he notices a familiar figure sitting at the table, a cup of steaming coffee cradled in her hands, that being ceras bulga and she offers him a warm smile but also a curt nod as their gazes meet.

"Greetings Naruto Uzumaki.. And congratulations on your recent promotion to A-rank" ceras said, her voice rich and melodious. Naruto blinks momentarily and is taken aback by the woman's presence, "Good Morning Ceras.. I didn't expect to see you here" he says, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. Ceras takes a sip of her coffee as her brown eyes sparkle with seriousness, "I needed to speak with Tomoe about a matter of importance.. Concerning another dragon" she said, her gaze flickering to the turquoise-blue-haired woman sitting beside her.

"Turns out Ceras is actually a Dragonkin Naruto.. She's the daughter of a fellow dragon named Belserion" tomoe explains, her melodic voice carrying a hint of excitement.

"I-I see but what brings you here" naruto asks, taking a seat at the table as isane brings out a tray laden with steaming plates of food. The tantalizing aroma of sizzling bacon and fluffy pancakes makes his mouth water a little. Isane set a heaping plate of pancakes drizzling with maple syrup and butter in front of naruto, along with a generous helping of bacon and scrambled eggs. She then places larger portions in front of nazira and mio, the a half-orc already licking her lips in anticipation.

"Thank you Isane" naruto said, flashing his love a grateful smile before turning his attention back to ceras. Isane takes a seat next to him and offering a warm smile to the renowned adventurer. Ceras set her coffee cup down with her gaze flicking to tomoe, "I find myself in need of your assistance.. It concerns a fellow dragonkin named Angron" she begins, her melodious voice tinged with concern.

"Angron?!.. I haven't heard that name in years.. What's happened?!" tomoe says, her brow furrowed at the mention of the name.

"Angron has created a sinister cult.. One that delves into the darkest realms of forbidden knowledge.. They perform inhumane experiments.. Pushing the boundaries of what it means to be moral.. All in pursuit of a twisted ideology" ceras explains, her lips pursed and her expression grave.

"Their methods are abhorrent.. Subjecting innocent lives to unspeakable horrors and Angron is at the center" ceras adds, her brown eyes hardening and a flicker of revulsion passing across her features.

"What kind of experiments are we talking about?!.. Surely even Angron wouldn't stoop to such depravity" tomoe says, her brow furrowed as naruto listens. He quietly eats and passes bacon to ghost as ceras sighs, "I fear the depths of their depravity know no bounds.. They seek to unlock the secrets of life itself.. Twisting and warping the very fabric of existence to suit their nefarious goals" she says, shaking her head solemnly.

"Reminds me of Orochimaru" naruto thought, as a heavy silence hangs in the air from the weight of ceras' words.

"Is there anything we can do" naruto says, leaning forward slightly and his azure eyes burning in determination.

"I appreciate your willingness to aid Ceras.. But this is a matter that may prove too dangerous for you my dear" tomoe says, offering him a warm smile. Naruto opens his mouth to protest but ceras raises a hand and effectively silencing him, "Tomoe speaks wisely.. Angron is a powerful warrior but your skills may yet prove invaluable" she said, her gaze meeting his as she sips her coffee.

"Do you know where Angron is currently located" tomoe asks, her brow furrowed with concern.

"I believe he has taken refuge in the Kingdom of Außerst.. A few weeks' travel to the east.. It's a remote and isolated place" ceras says, nodding her head solemnly.

"AuBerst?!.. That's a nasty place.. Heard stories of a mad king who dabbles in all sorts of dark sorceries" nazira mumbles through a mouthful of bacon and eggs, her brow furrowing as she pauses her ravenous eating. The half-orc shovels another forkful of scrambled eggs into her mouth, "They say he's got twisted creatures on a leash.. That obey his every whim.. Folks who cross him tend to end up... Well.. Let's just say they ain't around to tell the tale" she mumbles, her words slightly garbled as she continues.

"If this Angron fella has thrown in with that lot.. You're in for one hell of a scrap.. Might even have to call in some backup" nazira adds after washing down her meal with a hearty swig of juice, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand and lets out a belch.

"I ain't one to shy away from a good brawl.. If you looking for fighters.. Especially if it means taking down a bunch of slimy cultists and their pets.. I'm in" nazira finishes, her emerald eyes a mixture of trepidation and excitement.

"You are correct.. King Mordred is a cruel and ruthless ruler.. Said to wield forbidden sorceries.. It's the perfect haven for Angron and his cult" ceras confirms grimly, ignoring the crass table manners.

"If Angron has truly fallen so far.. We cannot allow him to continue down this dark path.. We must make haste AuBerst then" tomoe says, her features hardened with determination.

"But how do we even begin to challenge such a foe?!.. This Angron has this cult and the King of Außerst..." isane says, her brow furrowed with unease.

"If Angron's power is left unchecked.. The consequences could be catastrophic.. I must stop him.. By any means necessary.. Which is why I came for your aid Tomoe" ceras said, her brown eyes burning with resolve.

"If you wish Tomoe's help.. Then you have All of our help" naruto says, his azure eyes flickering with a fierce light.

"We should face this challenge together" isane says, reaching out and gently squeezes naruto's hand and a soft smile playing across her lips.

"Your aid will be invaluable Naruto" tomoe said, with a smile playing on her lips.

"Will the Guild sanction you going to AuBerst" mio comments, her yellow eyes shimmering with concern.

"As an S-rank adventurer.. I'm given a certain degree of autonomy in my operations.. Guild Master Aldrich will understand the gravity of the situation" ceras says, after taking a sip of her coffee.

"If we're going to confront Angron and his cult.. We'll need to prepare accordingly.. Supplies.. Equipment and transportation for our journey" naruto says with his brow furrowed in thought but looks to nazira, "I don't suppose you'd prefer to ride a horse" he asks, as the half-orc burps again.

"And risk getting saddle sores on my precious cheeks?!.. No thanks Blondie.. I'll stick to my own two feet" nazira says, snorting with a derisive smirk spreading across her tusked features.

"In that case.. We should invest in a sturdy wagon.. Our horses can transport any supplies" tomoe says with a point to mio, shaking her head in amusement.

"A sensible idea.. We'll need to stock up on rations and any other essentials for an extended journey" mio says, nodding in agreement and shooing ghost from her meal.

"Alright then.. It's settled.. We'll make the necessary preparations and set out for AuBerst as soon as possible with Ceras.. Angron and his cult won't know what hit them" naruto says, his azure eyes flickering with determination as he scans the faces of his companions. A week passes as the group prepare for their trip to auBerst in the Schnieder region with naruto and nazira getting their new dog tags signifying their new A-rank status but also packing up and cleaning their home to return it to the guild. Tomoe and mio search for a wagon for nazira to ride in but to carry their supplies for the several weeks long journey. Cedric helps isane purchase supplies like food and drink, which they seal in stasis scrolls. Naruto and nazira took few a local jobs to earn a little more money for the trip.

The clop of hooves echo on the road through the countryside as naruto and company head for the destination. Naruto is riding on liam and wearing his new outfit of a black knight's shirt with a lace-up front, fitted sleeve having decorative on the long sleeves with his gauntlets and a mercenary leather cuirass. A pair of light gray pants having attached black chausses and black wanderer boots, his coat given to him by the people of rimedrift completes the outfit. Isane rides next to naruto on moondancer adding a leather cuirass to her outfit and her rapier at her side. Cedric rides next to ceras, tomoe and mio on his gelding with nazira and ghost in the wagon as the half-orc's boisterous laughter echoes.

"So Ceras.. How long until we reach Außerst" nazira says, her eyes sparkling with curiosity at the s-rank adventurer. Ceras' gaze sweeps over the rolling hills and dense forests that stretch before them on her gray gelding, "If we maintain a steady pace and encounter no unexpected obstacles.. We should reach Außerst in approximately four weeks or so" she replies, her voice steady and assured.

"Four weeks?!.. That's quite a journey" nazira muses, her brow furrowing.

"Indeed and to reach Außerst.. We must pass through the eastern range of the Blackstone Mountains and enter the Schnieder region" ceras says, nodding and expression slightly grave. Mio and tomoe exchange a glance with tomoe's red eyes inquisitive, "Fear not Ceras.. We'll make it to AuBerst and stop their plans" tomoe says, her azure-green tresses swaying in the breeze and her hands tightening around the reins. Two weeks pass uneventfully with the group encountering the occasional bandit, mercenary or stray monster to fend off along the way. They navigate the winding paths through the mountains and naruto finds himself reminiscing about his journey to kiv, meeting cedric while heading through the rugged terrain of the blackstone mountains.

"These mountains sure bring back memories.. Don't they Cedric" naruto remarks, his gaze sweeping over the towering peaks in the distance. Cedric nods with his expression a mixture of nostalgia and amusement, "I remember your arrival in Kiv like it was yesterday.. You came to our town with this air about you" he says, chuckling and fiery hair moving in the breeze.

"I took you to the Mountain King's lair near the Eagle's Perch.. I expected you to meet your demise... But you returned with the Mountain King's head... That's when I knew I'd follow you.. No matter where your path might lead" cedric says, gesturing to the peaks and his eyes twinkling with admiration. Isane smiles warmly as she rides next to him on moondancer, "Naruto has indeed come a long way and I believe he will continue to achieve great things" she says, her gray eyes shining with affection as she gazes upon her love. Naruto rubs the back of his neck with a humble look on his features and liam neighs loudly as if in agreement with isane's sentiments.

"Thanks Love" naruto replies, returning isane's adoring gaze and patting liam's muscular neck. He glances back and catches tomoe's playful wink while mio's cheeks flush a delicate shade of pink.

"You're right my faithful companion.. Without you all by my side.. I would be lost" naruto adds, a tender smile gracing his rugged features. The black stallion tosses his mane and seemingly preening under naruto's affectionate touch, his eyes regarding his master with an almost human-like adoration, a bond forged through countless adventures together. A few days later as the group would make their way through a verdant valley but a distant plume of smoke catches naruto's eye and reins in his liam, squinting against the hazy air.

"Do you see that smoke?!" naruto calls out to his companions, his brow furrowed with concern.

"Yes and it doesn't bode well" isane says, her lips pressed into a thin line.

"We'd best investigate" cedric says, his eyes narrowed and urges his horse forward. Naruto spurs liam into a gallop with isane, cedric, ceras and the wagon close behind but as they crest the hill, a horrific scene unfolds before them. A band of heavily armed soldiers, their armor bearing an unfamiliar crest, have descended upon a small village while setting buildings ablaze and cutting down any who dare resist.

[Music: Skylar Cahn- Titan]

"By the Gods" isane gasps, her face pale with horror. A young woman is clutching a wailing infant to her chest and stumbles from a burning dwelling, only to be meet her end from the cold steel of a soldier's blade. Naruto's eyes narrow in anger as he witnesses the atrocity unfolding before him and without hesitation, draws gungir from its sheath while cedric mirrors his actions.

"We must act swiftly!" isane shouts and brings out her staff instead of drawing her rapier, her voice is laced with urgency as the three charge into the village with tomoe urging the wagon their heels.

"No Man!" naruto shouts ringing like clarion call, slicing off the head of a soldier. Nazira leaps from the wagon with her massive sword soulreaver, "Leave none of these cowards standing!" she growls, her eyes blazing with fury and joining the fray. Ceras quickly dismounts her horse to follow and draws her dual swords as tomoe brings the wagon to a halt with ghost hopping out and his hackles raised. Naruto swings his sword from left to right with liam kicking any unlucky bastard in his way. Isane fires various spells to fell foes or protect the innocent with barriers of rock, water, fire or wind. Cedric's blade lashes out and catches a man in the throat as he crumples to the ground, while clutching at the mortal wound.

"Get to safety!" isane commands several, her staff aglow with arcane power and deflecting the arrows and spells hurled her way. Tomoe swiftly unsheathes a handful of kunai, her red eyes narrowed with focus as she leaps from the wagon. With a flick of her wrist, the razor-sharp blades whistle through the air, finding their marks in the throats and eye sockets of the nearest soldiers. Crimson arcs paint the ground as the men crumple and their gurgles of agony abruptly silenced. Mio joins the fray with her folded metal fan, the polished surface gleaming in the sun filled skylight. A group of soldiers charge towards the wagon but she meets them with a whirlwind of strikes, the fan's razor-sharp edges slicing through armor and flesh with equal ease.

"Arghh!" a soldier cries as ghost's jaws clamp down on the throat of the unfortunate soldier. The man's dying screams were swiftly muffled as ghost's fangs tear through his jugular and staining his pristine coat with scarlet. Nazira lets out a feral battle cry as soulreaver is a whirlwind of steel, slicing through and bellies of the nearest group of soldiers. Ceras fights by her side as her movements fluid and precise, each strike finding its mark with lethal accuracy.

"No Man!" nazira roars, echoing naruto's battle cry with a swing of her sword and cleaving through three more soldiers. Ceras dances through the fray but one soldier's eyes widen in horror, "It's Titania!.. The S-rank adventurer!" he shouts, his eyes widening in recognition.

"Yes I am Titania and you'll pay for your crimes against these innocent villagers" ceras declares, her voice steely with resolve. The soldier charges ceras but she parries his attacks, "You can't stop what's coming!" he shouts, his eyes wide with fear and disbelief.

"And what exactly is 'Coming'.. Pray tell?!" ceras says, sending the soldier stumbling back and her gaze unwavering.

"The Purge.. The cleansing of this land from all the filthy non-humans and their sympathizers!" the soldier spits, his expression twisted into a sneer.

"You seek to exterminate innocent lives based on prejudice and hatred?!.. Unforgivable" ceras hisses, her grip tightened around her swords' hilt.

"You cannot stop the tide.. Our resolve is unbreakable.. This land will be purged of your kind.. No matter the cost!" the soldier hisses but with a flick of ceras' wrist his sword clatter from his grip to the ground. Ceras' eyes narrows as her blades glint in the sunlight while she faces the defiant soldier, "Then we shall meet your forces with steel and blood.. The innocent will not suffer at the hands of bigots and extremists" she declares, her voice steely with resolve. The soldier goes for a dagger on his person but ceras lunges for with her blade a blur of motion. The soldier raises his dagger in a desperate attempt to parry her strike and she is faster as her blade slicing through his defenses, cleaving through his armor and burying deep into his flesh.

"Y-you..." the man says with a choked gasp, his eyes widening in shock and disbelief as he stumbles backward while clutching the mortal wound. Ceras' expression remains impassive as she withdraws her blade and the soldier's lifeblood spills onto the scorched earth.

"Your hatred and prejudice have no place in this world.. Your cause is unjust and your actions are unforgivable" ceras states, her voice laced with contempt. The soldier collapses to his knees and his breath rattling in his throat as he struggles to speak, "You... Cannot stop... The purge..." he rasps, his words punctuated by wet coughs but says no more as ceras takes his head off his body.

"We shall see about that" ceras says, her voice low and resolute. The body slumps to the ground with a wet thud and his head contorted in twisted last scream but ceras turns her attention back to the battle. The battle rages on as the air thick with the clash of steel and the crackling of magic. Isane's staff glows with arcane power and unleashes a torrent of searing flames that explode near a cluster of soldiers, allowing several of naruto's clones to cut them down.

"For the innocent!" cedric roars, his longsword cleaving through the ranks of the enemy. A soldier charges at him but the fiery young warrior sidesteps the attack with quick agility and brings his blade down in a brutal arc, nearly cleaving the man in two with a spray of blood. Naruto fights with a ferocity born of righteous indignation, his longsword gungir an extension of his own body. He parries a flurry of strikes from two soldiers, before launching a counter-attack that left them sprawled on the ground, their lifeblood seeping into the scorched earth.

"Hekireki Issen!" naruto thought, becoming a blur of speed and steel while cutting down several soldiers or mages but he notices several wagons at the edge of the village. Each with cages around the top and within them were the terrified faces of prisoners.

"Cedric!.. With me.. The wagons!.. They're holding prisoners!" naruto calls out, deflecting a blow from a nearby soldier. Cedric follows naruto and charge towards the wagons, their blades cutting down any soldier foolish enough to stand in their path. They near the cages but naruto sees of a tall, dark-elf girl with olive skin and aqua green eyes having golden blonde hair in a messy pixie cut and two blue lightning bolt markings that adorn her face. Her gaze meets naruto's and he is struck by the intensity within those aqua green depths. There is a strength there and a resilience that seems unbreakable, even in the face of such adversity.

"Stand back!" cedric bellows, his longsword shattering the lock of the nearest cage. The prisoners stumbles out as their eyes were wide with a mixture of fear and relief. Naruto approaches the dark-elf girl and offers her a hand, "You're free" he assures her, his voice gentle yet resolute. She regards him warily for a moment before taking his hand and allowing him to help her from the cage, "Who are you" she asks, her voice carrying a melodic lilt that belies the strength within.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki" naruto replies and offers her a reassuring smile, "If you can fight.. Pick up a weapon and help us defend this village.. These soldiers will pay for their crimes!" he declares, turning his attention back to the battle at hand. Ceras fights with the grace and precision that has earned her title of S-rank adventurer, her blades a blur of motion as she cuts down those who dares stand against her. Nazira is a whirlwind of fury as her sword cleaves through armor and flesh alike with her battle cries echoing across the smoke-filled village. The prisoners that could fight pick up discarded weapons and join the battle with the dark-elf girl grabbing a pair of daggers. The tide of battle is in their favor with the enemy's forces retreating in the face of their overwhelming might. Naruto surveys the devastation around them as the last soldiers run with his clones in pursuit but his heart is heavy from sorrow for the innocent lives lost. [song ends]

"We may have won but these soldiers spoke of a 'Purge'.. A campaign to eradicate all non-humans and their allies from these lands" ceras says, her voice carrying across the smoke-filled air as the group gather around her.

"Then we cannot stand idly by while innocent lives are threatened" naruto says, his face etched with grim determination. The dark-elf girl steps forward as her aqua green eyes burn with an inner fire, "I am Tier or Tia Halibel.. You saved my life.. I am yours to command" she declares, her voice resonating with conviction.

"Then I welcome you as a comrade Tia" naruto says with a nod and his gaze full of gratitude, "These are my fellow companions.. First Isane Kotetsu.. A skilled mage and beloved partner" he adds, gesturing to his silver hair goddess.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance Tia" isane says, inclining her head and a warm smile gracing her delicate features.

"And this is Tomoe and Mio.. They are formidable warriors" naruto continues, indicating the two powerful women.

"Nice to meet you.. We are also Naruto's lovers but he has Yet to touch us or his Beloved" tomoe says, exchanging a mischievous glance with mio to bring some levity. Naruto coughs but tia notices his ears are a little red, "This is Cedric of Kiv.. A loyal friend and a fierce warrior" he says, gesturing to the fiery warrior beside them and cedric gives her a curt nod.

"And this is Nazira.. Her skill with the blade is matched only by her unwavering courage" naruto said, introducing the imposing half-orc beside cedric.

"Welcome to the fight dark-elf.. You will be a welcomed addition" nazira says with a grin her emerald eyes alight with the thrill of battle.

"This Ghost and the greatest friend a guy could ask for" naruto says, rubbing the head of the white direwolf and ghost barks.

"And I am Ceras Bulga.. An S-rank adventurer" ceras finishes, her presence commanding respect. The group now turn their attention to the devastated village with charred ruins standing as silent sentinels, a grim reminder of the violence that has unfolded. Isane steps forward and her staff glows with arcane energy, "I'll conjure some water to douse the remaining flames" she says, her gray eyes alight with determination. With a graceful sweep of her staff, a torrent of water erupts from the ground to douse the smoldering buildings and quenching the hungry flames.

"We'll give them a proper burial" cedric says, as he and a host of clones begin the grim task of gathering the fallen. Isane begins healing those she can as naruto, nazira, tia, ghost and ceras search homes for survivors but as they do some of the prisoners approach them, their faces etched with gratitude and relief.

"You saved our lives.. We were being taken to Außerst to face who knows what horrors" an elderly man murmurs, his voice trembling with emotion.

"Außerst?!.. Then this must be the work of Angron and his cult" naruto says, his jaw clenched and his eyes hardening with resolve.

"Then we must act swiftly" ceras says, as she processes this information. They quickly continue their search as a young girl emerges from the ruins of a house, her tattered dress and tear-stained cheeks a poignant reminder of the horrors she had witnessed

"It's alright now.. You're safe" naruto says, crouching to one knee and patting her head gently with a reassuring smile. The girl sniffles with her wide eyes fixed on naruto's face, "Th-They killed my mama and papa" she whimpers, her small frame trembling with grief. Naruto's heart clenches at the child's words and he gently pulls her into an embrace, "I'm so sorry" he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion as the girl clings to him. Ceras soon approaches with her gaze solemn as she surveys the scene, "The dead deserve proper rites" she said, her voice low and reverent.

"We'll build pyres for the fallen and send their spirits to the afterlife with honor... Those soldiers can rot in piss and shit" nazira says, her expression grim but gruff. The continue their task building pyres while naruto's clones deal with the soldiers, looting their bodies for monies and setting their bodies on fire with no rites at all. They hand over what supplies they have, much to mio and nazira's chagrin but they both know the villagers need it more. The sun soon dips below the horizon as the village is bathed in the flickering glow of the funeral pyres. The survivors gather around with their faces illuminated by the dancing flames as they paid their final respects to those lost. Tia and isane step forward with their voices ringing out in a haunting elven lament, a tribute to the fallen and a promise of retribution. As the embers fade and the night grows long as the group huddles together, their hearts heavy with the weight of the task ahead.

"We cannot let this atrocity go unanswered" naruto declares, his voice steely with resolve.

"Agreed.. We must make haste for Außerst and stop Angron's cult" ceras says, her expression grave.

"And when we find those responsible cowards.. They will face the full fury of our blades" nazira says, a savage grin on her face. The group prepare to depart as the survivors gather around, their faces etched with gratitude and newfound hope.

"May the Gods watch over you and grant you strength in the battles to come" the elderly village leader murmurs, his weathered features softened by a gentle smile.

"We will not rest until this injustice is rectified and those who perpetrated these acts are brought to justice" naruto says, inclining his head and his gaze unwavering. The group set forth on their horses and wagon, their path leading inexorably towards außerst and the truth that awaits them there. It is two weeks later when they find themselves traversing the schneider region, the rugged and unforgiving terrain testing their endurance with each passing day. When they crest a hill after leaving the forest to a towering wall looming before them, stretching as far as the eye could see. Naruto reins in liam with his brow furrowing as he took in the imposing structure.

"What is this" naruto asks, turning to ceras on her horse.

"That wall marks the boundary of Außerst's territory.. It was built by King Mordred's ancestor.. Beyond that gate lies the answers we seek" ceras replies, her voice low and expression grave.

"Then we must press on" cedric declares, tightening the grip around his reins and his eyes narrowed in determination.

"Yes indeed but we should make for the town of Schnee first.. It's a several days' ride from the Außerst itself and we could use the rest but also gather information before confronting whatever lies ahead" ceras says, nodding patting her horse's neck.

"A sound plan.. These past two weeks have been grueling and we'll need our strength for the battles to come" nazira says, grunting in agreement. They soon approach the gate and a contingent of heavily armed guards emerge with their weapons at the ready, "State your business travelers!" one of them demands, his eyes narrowed with suspicion. Ceras dismounts from her horse and walks towards the guards with her expression stern as she reaches into her shirt, pulling out a set of worn dog tags and holding them up for the guards to see.

"I am Ceras Bulga.. An S-rank adventurer known as Titania.. These are my companions and we are seeking glory in the lands of Außerst" ceras declares, her voice carrying across the windswept plains. The guard's eyes widen as he recognizes the name and the significance of the dog tags. He exchanges a glance with his comrades, a mixture of respect and wariness evident on their faces.

"Titania herself.. Your exploits precede you Lady Ceras.. We've heard tales of your valor and prowess in battle" the guard murmurs, lowering his weapon slightly. A second guard inclines her head respectfully, "It is an honor to stand before one of such legendary renown.. Few have dared to venture into the heart of Außerst willingly.. Yet you and your companions press onward undaunted" she says, her eyes betraying a hint of awe.

"Heed my words travelers.. The path you tread is perilous and fraught with dangers beyond reckoning.. Außerst has become a land where hope withers and fear reigns supreme.. Also where shadows cloak untold horrors" the first guard says, his gaze sweeping over the group and his expression hardening.

"Many have entered those accursed lands.. Whether seeking glory or truth.. Only to find oblivion awaiting them.. Tread carefully.. For the price of failure is a fate worse than death itself" a third guard says, as memories of past battles flickered across his weathered features. Ceras acknowledges the guards' words with a solemn nod before returning to her horse. The group pass through the gate but naruto couldn't shake the sense of foreboding that settles over him like a shroud.

シーンブレイク

High above the skies and heading to the schneider region is aurelia soaring gracefully, her white scales glistening like freshly fallen snow under the bright sunlight. Her sharp blue eyes scan the vast expanse below, searching intently for the one who is calling out to her. She has been guided by an inexplicable force for weeks, leading her eastward towards the distant kingdom of auBerst.

"The presence grows stronger with each passing day.. Whoever summons me must possess extraordinary power" aurelia murmurs to herself, her powerful wings propelling her forward. The young yet formidable dragon has witnessed her kind be revered as guardians of the realm, their presence commanding awe and respect from the mortals below.

"We were once celebrated as protectors.. But as the greed and ambition of humans grew.. Many turned on us and hunt us to the brink of extinction" aurelia murmurs wistfully, her powerful wings cutting through the crisp air. She has spent countless years in solitude of her lair hidden deep within the treacherous peaks of her mountain.

"Why have I been summoned after all this time.. And by whom?!... I shall uncover the truth of this summons... And if they prove to be a threat.. I will unleash the full fury of my kind upon them" aurelia wonders aloud, her sharp gaze fixed on the distant horizon and her voice echoing like thunder across the cloudy sky. Aurelia presses onwards with a determined flap of her wings and her mind steeled for whatever lays ahead in the distant kingdom of auBerst. At the same time a wagon rolls steadily across the open plains, its wheels kicking up clouds of dust in its wake. Tomoe guides the wagon with a practiced hand, her crimson eyes narrowing as she feels the distant presence of the young dragon. She has sensed the powerful creature's approach and its aura growing stronger with each passing day.

"It seems we have company.. You have unwittingly called another of my kin to you Naruto" tomoe thought and her lips curving into a knowing smirk, "Though If this dragon harbors ill intent.. I will not hesitate to strike it down" she thought, her fingers tightening around the reins. Three days later the bustling merchant town of schnee comes into view, its streets lined with stalls and shops peddling wares from across the west. After they enter the town gates, the inhabitants regard them with a mixture of curiosity and wariness, their expressions guarded. The air is still thick with the tantalizing aromas of exotic spices and freshly baked goods. Merchants eye the group warily, clutching their goods a little tighter, while others scurry to clear the way and casting furtive glances over their shoulders.

"They seem… Uneasy" isane murmurs with a hushed whisper, her brow furrowed with concern.

"It is as if they fear something... Or someone" naruto says, his gaze sweeping over the townspeople. They find a stable to leave their horses and wagon before the group make their way into the heart of schnee. Nazira surveys the bustling streets with a keen eye, her nostrils flaring as she takes in the tantalizing aromas wafting from the nearby taverns.

"I need a drink and food after being cramped in that wagon all day" nazira grumbles, her voice a deep rumble that betrays her impatience.

"A wise idea.. We should find an Inn too" ceras says, nodding in agreement. Naruto creates a shadow clone to secure their lodgings for night or a few days as the group follows nazira. She leads them toward an establishment promising hearty fare and strong drink. The tavern's patrons seem to shrink back as the group enter, their gazes averted as they clear a path for the formidable-looking travelers. Tia tugs at the tattered fabric of her tunic and her eyes narrowing, "I'll need to find some proper attire and weapons" she admits, shifting her eyes from right to left.

"We'll find everything tomorrow.. Now we need to fill our bellies" mio says, patting tia on the shoulder.

"Perhaps it is born of experience.. These lands hold darkness beyond our reckoning" cedric says, nodding in agreement.

"This fear that grips the townsfolk.. It must be Angron and his cult of zealots" tomoe comments, her voice low and laced with concern. Nazira strides up to the bar with her heavy footfalls echoing in the sudden silence, "Ale and several hearty meals for my companions and me" she rumbles, tossing a handful of coins onto the counter. The barkeep is a grizzled old man with a weathered face, "Aye.. Coming right up" he says, eyeing the coins warily before giving a curt nod. Naruto couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched as they find a table in the corner, like the weight of countless eyes boring into them from the shadows. Across the tavern is a hooded figure puffing on a pipe with the smoke swirling around his weathered features.

"Look at the beauties Heinz.. Four humans.. A dark elf and a half-orc.. I bet the half-orc's Pussy would be a good fuck" a man to the hooded figure's right said, his voice a leering whisper as he eyes the group.

"That dark elf slave might be useful to our boss.. Go over and see if they'd be willing to sell her for good coin Krane" heinz says, puffing his piping and watching the newcomers through narrowed eyes. Krane rises from his seat and swaggers towards naruto's group, eyeing tia with an appraising gaze as his lips curling into a lecherous grin.

"Well.. Well.. What do we have here?!.. A motley crew of misfits. And having a pretty little thing like yourself" krane drawls, his voice laced with contempt. Tia tenses as her hand inches towards the old dagger concealed beneath her tattered cloak but before she could react. Mio steps forward with her golden eyes boring into krane with an intensity that makes him flinch back.

"Mind your tongue Knave.. You speak to members of Uzu.. Show some respect.. Lest you invite misfortune upon yourself" mio warns, her melodic voice carrying an undercurrent of menace. Krane falters with his bravado faltering in the face of mio's imperious glare but he turns his attention to naruto, eyeing the blond warrior with a mix of curiosity and thinly veiled disdain.

"And you good Sir.. What business brings you and your... Companions to Schnee" krane asks with a small pause, his gaze flickering over the group once more. Naruto meets the man's gaze evenly with his expression inscrutable, "Our business is our own and adventure" he replies, his tone firm but measured.

"Adventure eh?!.. Well you won't find much of that in these parts.. Lest you have a penchant for tall tales and fanciful rumors about long ago... But if it's entertainment you seek.. I might be able to arrange something... Special.. For the right price of course" krane says, snorting derisively but leans closer as his voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper. His eyes linger on tia once more and his meaning becomes clearer as tomoe's red eyes narrow dangerously while regarding the leering man, "State your business" tomoe demands, her voice low and laced with menace.

"My business is simple... Sell me the dark elf and I'll give ya fifty gold pieces.. A fair price for a pretty little thing like her" krane says, his gaze flickering over the group with thinly veiled contempt. Naruto's fist clenches in anger as his jaw tightens but before the situation could escalate further. Nazira rises to her full height while slamming her tankard down on the table with a resounding thud that echoes through the tavern. The half-orc warrior towers over the man and her emerald eyes narrow into slits as she fixes him with a withering glare.

"You dare to speak in such a manner Worm?!.. Mind your tongue.. Lest I rip it from your mouth" nazira rumbles, her voice a menacing growl that sends a tremor of fear rippling through the room. Krane stumbles back a few steps as he realizes the grave error he has made, a look of naked fear as he takes in the formidable figures that surround him.

"I-I meant no offense.. Just a joke.. T-that's all" krane stammers, his eyes darting towards the exit. Mio's gaze pierces him like a lance and her porcelain features twisting into a cold but contemptuous sneer, "A poor jest indeed.. Perhaps it would be wise to take your leave.. Lest you invite further... Unpleasantness" she murmurs, her melodic voice dripping with disdain. Krane needs no further prompting as with a hasty nod, turns and scurries towards the exit, disappearing into the night like a rat fleeing from a pack of hungry cats. The hooded heinz watches with narrowed eyes as a thin smile curls his weathered lips while he takes another puff from his pipe, the smoke swirling around his grizzled features.

"Fool... Looks like I'll have to resort to more... Conventional persuasion" heinz mutters under his breath, shaking his head in disdain. His gaze lingered on tia and taking in her lithe form but also the unmistakable aura of power that clings to her like a shroud.

"Enjoy your peace while it lasts" heinz murmurs, taking another long drag from his pipe.

The group decide to split up the next morning and gather information and supplies, hoping to uncover clues about the looming threat they would be facing in auBerst. Ceras, tomoe and mio set off to explore the city, their keen eyes and ears alert for any whispers or rumors that might shed light on their quest. They navigate the winding streets bu tomoe couldn't shake the sense of unease that clings to her like a shroud.

"Something troubles you" mio murmurs, her golden gaze studying tomoe's pensive expression. Tomoe's red eyes narrow in contemplation, "This city reeks of fear and desperation.. The townsfolk cower like frightened rabbits and the air is thick with whispers of some unseen threat" she replies, her voice low.

"The shadow of Angron's cult looms large over these lands and this town.. We must tread carefully and gather what information we can before pressing on" ceras says, her expression grim and nodding gravely. Nazira and cedric are meanwhile making their way back to the tavern, her imposing figure drawing wary glances from the patrons. They settle at a corner table and nazira leans back in her chair, her eyes scanning the room with a predatory gaze. A buxom barmaid with her ample bosom straining against the confines of her low-cut blouse, saunters over to their table with a smile.

"What'll it be Loves" the barmaid asks, her voice a sultry purr that seems at odds with the rough-hewn tavern. Nazira grunts with her gaze flickering over the barmaid's curvaceous form before settling on her face, "Ale and a hearty portion of whatever meat you've got roasting" she rumbles, tossing a handful of coins onto the table. The barmaid's eyes widen at the sight of the coins and she quickly scoops them up before tucking them into the folds of her skirt.

"Coming right up dear... And for you Handsome" the barmaid purrs, shooting nazira a coy wink before turning her attention to cedric.

"Nothing for me.. I need to keep a clear head while my companion indulges" cedric says, shaking his head with a slight blush The barmaid pouts playfully but nods in acquiescence, "Suit yourself Love" she said, before sashaying back towards the bar and her hips swaying enticingly. Cedric leans back in his chair with a pensive look etching his youthful features, "Why are we sitting here in this tavern" he asks, his voice low.

"Loose lips often tell the best stories.. These folk live in fear and fear breeds desperation.. Desperation can loosen even the most tightly sealed lips" nazira counters, seeing the buxom barmaid coming with the ale. Nazira winks at the barmaid and drinks some ale, "Look at them huddled in their corners.. Casting furtive glances at anyone who dares to enter their midst.. They crave respite from the shadows that loom over their lives and a few well-placed coins could be the key to unlocking their secrets" she says, gesturing around the tavern with a sweep of her hand after wiping foam from her mouth.

"A fair point.. Very well.. I will keep my ears open perhaps we can coax forth the whispers that might guide us on our path" cedric concedes, nodding slowly and his eyes flickering across the tavern's patrons. Nazira grins and her tusks glint in the dim light of the tavern, "That's the spirit.. To loose lips and the secrets they might spill!" she rumbles, raising her tankard in a mock toast. Across the tavern is a grizzled old man nursing his ale, his eyes flickering towards cedric and nazira before quickly averting his gaze. Cedric catches the furtive glance and beckons the older man towards him, "You there old-timer.. Mayhaps you've an interesting tale or two to share with weary travelers such as ourselves" he calls out, his tone not too loud. The old man is startled and his rheumy eyes widen as he clutches his tankard tighter, "W-what's that now?!" he stammers, his voice a reedy croak.

"Don't play coy with us Granfer" nazira rumbles, leaning back in her chair and fixing her gaze on the old-timer with a piercing stare. The old man's gaze flickers towards the pouch of coins that nazira jangles tantalizingly, his brow furrowing as he wrestles with some inner turmoil. He lets out a long, ragged sigh finally and shuffles over to their table, sinking into a chair with a groan.

"Aye.. I might have a tale or two.. But you'd best keep your voices down.. Walls have ears in these parts and there are those who wouldn't take kindly to such loose talk" the old man named Ulaf mutters, his eyes darting furtively around the tavern.

"It's the Weiss family you'll want to know about strangers.. They've had a stranglehold on this town for as long as anyone can remember.. Their fingers twisted into every pie from the markets to the militia" ulaf says, leaning closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

"And what of it?!.. Every town has its share of petty lords and coin-grubbers" nazira grunts, her expression flickering with a mix of interest and skepticism.

"Nay.. These Weiss scoundrels are cut from a different cloth entirely.. Rumors have them throwing in their lot with cultist madman" ulaf says, shaking his head vehemently and his eyes wide with something akin to fear.

"A cult you say?!" cedric says, his brow furrowed and his features etched with concern as ulaf nods fervently but his eyes dart around once more as if afraid of being overheard.

"And there are whispers too of Ser Jaime Dayne rallying support against King Mordred's iron grip in AuBerst.. Rebels and malcontents the lot of them but with coin and steel at their backs" ulaf says, his voice dropping to a hoarse whisper. Nazira exchanges a meaningful look with cedric and her eyes narrowing, "Seems we've stumbled into a hornet's nest of intrigue and treachery" she rumbles, her fingers drumming against the tabletop.

"And it would seem these townsfolk are caught in the crossfire.. Living in fear of whichever power holds sway on any given day" cedric says, nodding grimly and his gaze sweeping across the tavern's patrons. He turns back to the old man with his expression solemn, "You've given us much to ponder friend.. Here.. A token of our gratitude for your candor" he said, pushing a handful of coins across the table. Ulaf snatches up the coins greedily while his eyes are bright with a mixture of gratitude and wariness "Aye.. Thankee kindly.. Just mind yourselves.. These are treacherous times and those who poke their noses where they don't belong often find themselves in a world of hurt" he mutters, pocketing the coins with trembling hands. The barmaid comes with the meat and didn't hear ulaf's ominous warning, also leaving cedric and nazira to ponder the tangle web of intrigue that seems to ensnare the town of schnee.

Isane and tia venture into the heart of the city with their eyes peeled for any potential threats or opportunities. They navigate the bustling market district and isane couldn't help but notice the sidelong glances or hushed whispers that follow in their wake. Tia is unfazed by the attention with her sharp eyes scanning the stalls and shops lining the streets, until she spotted a quaint little establishment of an adventurer's outfitter.

"Over there.. I can acquired some proper attire there" tia murmurs, nudging isane and pointing. The two women make their way towards the shop, the heavy oak door creaking as they step inside. The interior is racks and shelves lining the walls, laden with an assortment of clothing, armor and gear. A grizzled old shopkeeper looks up from behind the counter and eyeing them warily, "Welcome ladies.. What can I help you with" he grunts, his voice rough with age. Tia steps forward with her keen gaze sweeping over the wares on display, "I seek garments suitable for an adventurer.. Something both practical and stylish" she says, her tone calm and measured.

"Aye.. I reckon you could use a proper outfit.. Look at my wares and find what you wish" the man mutters, scratching his grizzled chin and gestures towards a rack filled with an assortment of things. Tia and isane look through the things as they pick out a white abby blouse with black midnight evenstar bodice, black shorts having white fur sewn around the cuffs, a pair fingerless gloves, knee high boots and hooded cloak. Tia disappears into the changing screen as isane smiles, "Not bad" isane thought, taking a seat near the changing room.

"What you think" tia says, moments later and coming out. The snug-fitting blouse and bodice hug her curves, while the shorts and boots accentuate her long but toned legs, while the hooded cloak billows around her to add an air of mystery and allure.

"Looks Good" isane says and pays the shopkeeper but notices the price is a little high. They leave the shop and tia's keen eyes scan the bustling market, taking in the various stalls and vendors hawking their wares. Her gaze falls upon a weathered old weapon maker, his stall displaying an array of finely crafted blades and daggers. They make their way through the throng of people, drawing curious glances from the townsfolk who seem unaccustomed to seeing such an eclectic pair. They reach the weapon maker's stall as tia's sharp eyes scans the array of weapons on display. Her gaze instantly drawn to a pair of intricately crafted daggers nestled amidst the collection. The blades were sleek and deadly, their surfaces gleaming with a razor-sharp edge that promise to slice through flesh and bone with ease.

"These are exquisite" tia murmurs, her voice hushed with admiration. The hilts were works of art, intricately carved with intricate patterns that seem to dance and swirl before her eyes. Each hilt is adorned with a gleaming gemstone, one a deep crimson hue, the other a vibrant emerald that catch the light and throw it back in shimmering shards.

"Indeed they are" isane says, her eyebrows arching appreciatively. The grizzled weaponsmith has a face etched with the lines of a lifetime spent toiling over forge and anvil, regards the two women with a critical eye.

"Ah.. I see you've an eye for quality... Those daggers are part of a matched set.. Forged from the finest adamantine steel and imbued with enchantments to enhance their lethal grace" the weaponsmith rumbles, his voice a deep but gravelly baritone. Tia's eyes widen and her fingers curl around the hilt of the crimson-hilted blade while feeling its weight but also balance, "Enchantments you say" she murmurs, her gaze fixated on the blade's razor edge.

"Aye lass.. The crimson blade carries an enchantment that allows its wielder to strike with the swiftness of a viper.. While the emerald dagger can sap the very essence of life from those it pierces" the weaponsmith says with a nod, a glimmer of pride flickering in his weathered eyes. Isane shudders at the smith's words and her hand instinctively reaches for the hilt of her own blade, "Such power in a single weapon" she murmurs, her voice tinged with awe and trepidation. Tia is instead enraptured and her fingers caress the dagger's hilt with a lover's touch, "And how much would such a masterwork cost" she breathes, her eyes never leaving the blade's gleaming surface.

"For a pair of skilled adventurers such as yourselves.. I could be persuaded to part with them for.. Say five hundred gold pieces" the weaponsmith says while stroking his grizzled chin, his gaze appraising the two women with a keen eye. Tia and isane's eyes widen in shock at the exorbitant price with tia's grip tightening around the hilt of the crimson dagger, "Five hundred gold pieces?!.. That's an outrageous sum!" tia exclaims, her voice tinged with disbelief.

"Surely you jest.. Good Sir.. Such a price seems excessive.. Even for blades of such quality" isane said, her tone gentle but firm while regarding the weathered weaponsmith. The weaponsmith's gaze darts furtively around the bustling market, his shoulders hunching as if wary of prying eyes and ears. He leans closer and lowers his voice to a conspiratorial whisper, "Forgive me Ladies but I must charge such exorbitant prices these days.. Lord Weiss and his lackeys control the markets.. Taxing us merchants to the point of ruin" he murmurs, his grizzled features etched with a mixture of resignation and fear.

"Cross them and there will be consequences.. Naught but a shallow grave awaiting those who defy their tyranny.. But perhaps for a pair of capable adventurers such as yourselves.. I could be persuaded to offer a… Discount" the man says, his eyes clouded with a weary bitterness and his gaze flickering towards the two women, hardening with a glimmer of defiance. Tia's eyes narrow and her fingers tightening around the dagger's hilt as she considers the weaponsmith's words. Isane is too regarding the man with a newfound sense of wariness, her mind racing with the implications of lord weiss' iron grip on the town.

"Tell us more of this Lord Weiss and his schemes.. Information could prove more valuable than coin in these trying times" tia says, her keen gaze never wavering from the weaponsmith's weathered features and her voice a hushed whisper. Unbeknownst to them, several men dressed in military-like attire and overcoats secured at the shoulder observe from a nearby alleyway. One of them is a burly man with a gruff demeanor, nudges his companion and gestured towards tia and isane.

"That's the dark elf Heinz found.. The boss will want to know about this" the burly man grunts, his eyes narrowing as he studied the two women. The weaponsmith hesitates as his gaze darting nervously towards the alleyway where the men loitered. Lowering his voice even further and he leans closer to the pair, the scent of sweat and smoke clinging to his weathered form.

"Lord Weiss and his ilk have their claws sunk deep into this town.. They've been extorting us merchants.. Bleeding us dry with their exorbitant taxes and demands for 'protection fees'..." the man murmurs, his voice tinged with bitterness and fear.

"Those who resist or speak out... Well let's just say they have a tendency to disappear without a trace" the man continues, his eyes haunted by memories best left unspoken.

"Despicable.. We cannot allow such injustice to persist" tia hisses, her eyes flickering towards the alleyway where the men lurk and her jaw clenching in righteous indignation.

"Agreed but we must tread carefully" isane says, as she scans their surroundings with a wary eye. The weaponsmith's gaze shifts towards the alleyway once more and his brow furrowing with trepidation, "Aye and they have eyes and ears everywhere.. Take care.. Lest you find yourselves on the wrong end of their blade" he mutters, his voice barely audible. Isane's brow furrows as she considers the weaponsmith's ominous words, before reaching into the pouch at her hip and withdraws a small velvet sack that clink with the unmistakable sound of coin.

"Thank you for the information and the weapons Good Sir" isane murmurs, her voice low and soothing as she pushes the sack across the counter towards the grizzled smith. The man's eyes widen and his gnarled fingers caress the soft fabric with a reverence that speaks of desperation and fear. He loosens the drawstring with trembling hands and peers inside, his breath catching in his throat as he beholds the glittering coins nestled within.

"This... This is more than enough.. The daggers are yours my ladies" the man rasps, his voice thick with gratitude. Tia's eyes gleam as she picks up the crimson-hilted blade from the counter, her lithe fingers curling around the intricately carved hilt. The emerald-hilted twin soon follows and she tucks them into the folds of her cloak with a satisfied smile.

"A pleasure doing business with you" tia says with her gaze flickering towards the alleyway where the men still lurk, their eyes narrowed and watchful.

"Perhaps we should take our leave.. It would not do to linger and draw unwanted attention" isane murmurs, her tone tinged with a hint of unease and following tia's gaze. With a curt nod to the weaponsmith, the two women slip away from the stall, their movements fluid and graceful as they navigate the bustling market. Tia still couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched and the weight of unseen eyes trailing their every move.

"Did you notice those men in the alleyway?!.. They seemed... Interested in our dealings with the smith" isane says in a hushed whisper, as the merge with the crowd. Tia's eyes narrowed as she gives an imperceptible nod, "Indeed.. They watched us like hawks circling their prey.. We should find Naruto and the others.. And regroup before those vultures decide to strike" she says, her slender fingers brushing against the hilts of her newly acquired daggers.

"A wise precaution.. Who knows what nefarious schemes those men have in mind.. Come.. Let us make haste" isane says, nodding in agreement. The two women quicken their pace, weaving through the bustling throngs of merchants and townsfolk with practiced ease.

Naruto is meanwhile wandering the city streets as his azure gaze taking in the sights and sounds that surround him. Ghost pads alongside him with his bright eyes alert and his ears perked up. The bustling district is a riot of colors, scents and sounds with townsfolk bustling about their daily business. They reach a secluded fountain having a dead tree but soon find themselves face-to-face with a group of men dressed in military-like overcoats, their postures rigid and their expressions guarded. One of them is a burly man with a gruff demeanor as he steps forward, his eyes narrowing while he appraises naruto and ghost.

"You there.. We've been told you travel with a... Particular companion" the burly leader Rickard calls out, his voice a deep rumble that carries an undercurrent of authority. Naruto's brow furrows as his hand rests on the pommel of his longsword while ghost bares his teeth and a low growl rumbling in his throat, "And what if I do?!" naruto challenges, his tone measured but wary. Rickard nods towards one of his companions, a wiry man with a sharp and rat-like face steps forward, his gaze darting nervously as he looks left and right.

"My name is Kasem.. And I... I've been instructed to inform you that a person of Noble status has expressed... An interest... In acquiring the dark elf in your company" the wiry man said, wringing his hands together as if seeking absolution for some unspeakable sin. Naruto's eyes narrows as ghost's growl grows louder and his hackles raise, "And who pray tell.. Is this 'Noble' that thinks they can simply purchase my companions like chattel?!" naruto growls, his voice low and dangerous.

"You'd do well to mind your tone.. Lord Weiss is not a man to be trifled with and he has ways of... Persuading those who defy his will" rickard sneers with chuckle but it is a sound devoid of mirth, while his hand rests on the pommel of his own blade.

"Please Sir.. We mean no harm.. Lord Weiss has taken a fancy to your dark elf companion and he's willing to offer a handsome sum for her... Services" kasem says, his eyes pleading as he looks imploringly at naruto. Naruto's jaw clenches as his eyes blaze with righteous fury. Ghost's teeth were fully bared now and a menacing growl emanating from deep within his chest.

"You can tell this Lord Weiss that my companions are not for sale.. At any price" naruto spits, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword as he prepares for the inevitable confrontation. Rickard snorts derisively and exchanges a glance with his comrades, "Have it your way" he growls, his fingers curling around the pommel of his own blade and beginning to draw it our fully but naruto is fast. He moves in a blur of motion, pushing rickard's hand back down and forcing the blade back into its sheath. Naruto delivers a fierce uppercut to his jaw before rickard could react, sending him staggering backwards and on his butt.

"How Dare you!" one of the other men shouts, rushing naruto from behind. The blond whirls around and lashes out with a vicious elbow strike, catching the man squarely in the face. He crumples to the ground, clutching his broken nose as blood gushes between his fingers. Another thug lunges forward but naruto drops into a low stance and drives his knee into the man's solar plexus, doubling him over with a pained wheeze. Ghost snaps his jaws and bares his teeth at the remaining two henchmen, who hesitate and their eyes widen as naruto fixes them with a menacing glare, his killer intent leaking out like a suffocating miasma.

"Last chance... Leave now or suffer the consequences" naruto growls, his voice low and dangerous. The two men exchange a fearful glance, their earlier bravado evaporating in the face of naruto's overwhelming power and the snarling ghost at his side. Rickard clutches his bruised jaw as his eyes narrow with a mixture of anger and trepidation.

"It doesn't matter.. Ser Larkin the Hound will get the dark elf and kill any in his path to her" rickard spits, his voice thick with venom. Naruto reaches down and grabs the man's collar and yanks him closer, his azure eyes boring into the leader's with an intensity that made the man flinch.

"Who is this Ser Larkin?!" naruto demands, his voice a low growl and ghost presses his muzzle against the man's leg to reinforce the unspoken threat. Rickard hesitates for a moment and his gaze flicks towards his cowardly comrades before settling back on naruto's implacable stare, "He's Lord Weiss's enforcer.. A brutal killer with a taste for blood and a penchant for hunting down those who defy his master's will" he mutters, his tone laced with grudging respect and fear. Naruto's eyes narrow dangerously as he processes the information about larkin the hound. If this enforcer is as ruthless as rickard claims, then isane and tia could be in grave danger. He tightens his grip on the rickard's collar, pulling him closer until their faces were mere inches apart as ghost lets out another menacing growl.

"Listen carefully.. Tell your Lord Weiss that I'll bring him Larkin's head by sundown.. If he dares to lay a finger on my companions" naruto said, his voice low and laced with menace. Rickard's eyes widen as a flicker of fear passes over his features as he takes in the steely determination etched on naruto's face and the menacing white wolf at his side, before moving to speak but naruto cuts him off by grabbing his cheeks.

"And if any harm befalls my friends.. I'll make sure Lord Weiss suffers a fate far worse than death" naruto says, his killer intent flaring like a tangible force and pressing down on the men with suffocating intensity. Ghost bares his teeth and his growl deepens into a menacing rumble, while naruto releases rickard and fixes his eyes on the remaining henchmen with a withering glare.

"Get out of my sight" naruto says, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword in a clear warning and ghost mirroring his master with piercing look. The men need no further prompting and scramble to their feet, hauling their fallen comrades up and beating a hasty retreat, their faces pale and eyes wide with terror as ghost snaps his jaws, his fangs glistening in the dim light. Naruto allows himself a grim smile and reaches down to scratch ghost behind the ears, once the men were gone.

"Let's see how Lord Weiss and his pet enforcer handles a real challenge" naruto murmurs, while ghost nuzzles his hand and a low rumble of approval emanating from the direwolf's throat. Naruto turns to ghost and his eyes burning with determination, "Come on boy.. We need to find Isane and Tia before Larkin the Hound does" he says, earning an affectionate lick on the hand. Without wasting another moment, the pair take off in a dash with their footsteps echoing through the streets. Naruto's senses were on high alert, his gaze darting left and right while searching for any sign of his companions or their pursuers.

[Music: Groove Addicts - The Beast At Our Door(Loop)]

Tia and isane navigate the winding alleys of schnee but they couldn't shake the unnerving feeling of being watched, "We're being followed" tia murmurs, her keen senses attuned to the slightest movement or sound. Isane's eyes scanning their surroundings with a practiced vigilance that the others taught her, "I feel it too.. It would be best to find a defensible position.. In case our pursuers decide to reveal themselves" she replies, her voice low. Tia nods and soon her gaze falls upon the crumbling remains of an abandoned church, "There.. We can bottleneck them in the entrance and hold our ground" she said, nodding towards the dilapidated structure.

"Right" isane says, as the two women slip into the ruins. Their footsteps are light and silent as they move through the debris-strewn interior. Tia takes up a position near the entrance with her lithe form blending into the shadows as she readies her blades. Isane stations herself near a crumbling pillar and draws her rapier in a defensive stance, "They'll have to come through that doorway" she murmurs, her eyes narrowed in concentration and channeling her magic through it.

"They went this way!" a voice says, a few moments later. They begin to hear the unmistakable sound of footsteps echoing through the ruined church, accompanied by the clink of metal and muffled voices. Tia tenses and her body coils like a serpent poised to strike. The first man appears in the doorway as his eyes scan the dimly lit interior with a wary expression. Tia's crimson-hilted dagger flashes through the air before he could react, burying itself in his throat with a sickening crunch. She rushes and pulls the dagger out as the man crumples to the ground, gurgling and clutching at gaping would while his life's blood spills onto the dusty floor. Two more men rush in, their blades drawn and their eyes wide with shock and fear. Isane steps out from her hiding spot with her rapier lashing out in an intricate dance as she parries the first man's clumsy strike. She disarms him with a deft twist of her wrist, her blade slicing through his sword arm and eliciting a howl of agony.

"You Fucking Bitch!" the man shouts, going for his sword but isane hits him with a punt kick to the chin. The second man charges towards tia with his blade raised high in a wild overhead strike. The dark elf smirks and her emerald dagger flashes in a blur of motion as she sidesteps his attack and slashes at his exposed flank. Isane dispatches a third man opponent with a precise thrust to the throat, her rapier sliding through flesh and bone like a hot knife through butter. The second man stumbles with his eyes widen in shock as crimson blooms across his overcoat. Tia presses her advantage with her blades a whirlwind of steel as she rains down a flurry of strikes, each one finding its mark with lethal precision. The man collapses to his knees, his weapon clattering to the ground as he clutches at the myriad wounds that cover his body. Tia stands over him with her eyes cold and merciless as she delivers the coup de grace, burying her dagger in his heart.

"This looks like the last for now" isane says, her chest heaving with exertion as she survey the carnage around them. Tia wipes the blood from her daggers and her expression one of grim satisfaction, "They were sloppy and overconfident.. But as you say more will come" she replies, her tone devoid of emotion. As if on cue, the sound of approaching footsteps echo through the ruined church as they exchanges a glance, their weapons at the ready as they prepare to meet the next wave of attackers. The wall next to the entrance suddenly explodes inward, showering them with rubble and dust as they quickly retreat to avoid the larger pieces. Tia's eyes narrow as she senses a sinister aura emanating from the newly formed breach. The debris slowly settles as a dozen men clad in surcoats emblazoned with a snowflake crest and their weapons drawn enter.

"They must be Weiss' men" isane murmurs, her grip tightening around the hilt of her rapier. The dozen part as a man in forties strides in, his rugged features and tanned skin speaking of a life spent in the harsh outdoors. Sandy blond hair frames his weathered face, complementing by a matching beard that lent him a feral, almost bestial appearance. A military overcoat hangs over his broad shoulders, its left side adorned with a shoulder cape, while a thick fur pelt is draped over his right side.

"Well.. Well" the man drawls, his voice a deep baritone tinged with amusement. In his hand is a black longsword, its blade etched with intricate runes that seems to pulse with a malevolent energy. A thinly veiled sneer curves his lips, betraying the disingenuous nature of his smile. His steely gaze sweeps over the carnage, lingering on the fallen men with a dispassionate air before settling on tia and isane, his twisted smile spreading wider.

"What have we here?!.. A pair of skilled but beautiful fighters by the looks of it.. And you my golden-haired beauty.. Must be the prize Lord Weiss seeks" the man says, his eyes lingering on tia and his smile widening. Tia tenses with her fingers tightening around the hilts of her daggers in reverse grip as she meets the man's appraising stare, "And you are?!" she demands, her tone laced with contempt. The man chuckles and it is a sound devoid of mirth but sweeps into an exaggerated bow, "Ser Henri Larkin at your service... Though some call me the Hound.. For for my... Tenacity in tracking down those who defy Lord Weiss' will" he replies, his eyes glinting with a predatory gleam.

"You were sent to collect Tia?!" isane asks and tightens her grip around her rapier, her body coiled and ready to strike. Larkin's gaze flicks towards isane and he shrugs nonchalantly, "Collect.. Kill.. It matters little to me.. Lord Weiss wants your dark elf companion but if she proves... Uncooperative.. Well..." he said, his tone casual as if discussing the weather and trails off but his smile turns feral as he caresses the blade of his sword.

"You'll have to go through me first" isane says, her eyes narrowing with determination but a fear is in them too. Larkin throws back his head and laughs a deep but booming sound that echoes through the ruined church, "My dear girl.. That is precisely what I intend to do" he chuckles, his eyes alight with twisted mirth. Isane didn't waste any more time on words and shoots forward, her rapier leading the way in a blur of motion. The thrust is aimed squarely at larkin's heart but the wily swordsman sidesteps the attack with almost casual ease, his mocking laughter ringing out. Even as isane recovers from her missed strike do larkin's men surge forward and their blades aimed at tia. The dark elf moves with the grace of a dancer, her twin daggers weaving an intricate pattern as she parries, strikes and deflects the incoming strikes.

"How noble of you defend her" larkin says, as isane sizes him up. The man's relaxed stance and condescending smirk only fuels her determination. She launches a flurry of strikes, her rapier a blur of motion as she unleashes a blistering assault. Larkin proves to be a formidable opponent as he meets each of isane's thrusts and slashes with a deft parry, his movements fluid and effortless, like he is merely toying with her. His booming laughter echoing through the ruins, taunting her with his seeming invincibility.

"Is that the best you can do?!" larkin sneers, dodging another of isane's strikes with contemptuous ease. Isane feels frustration mounting as she realizes the truth in larkin's words. Her strikes are skilled and precise but seem sluggish and predictable to the seasoned swordsman. Each thrust and slash is anticipated, each feint read and countered with almost disdainful nonchalance. Tia is locked in her own lethal dance at the same time, her twin daggers a whirlwind of steel as she fends off the relentless onslaught of larkin's men. Her movements were a blur, her strikes lightning-fast and deadly accurate but the sheer numbers threaten to overwhelm her. Tia slashes out with her emerald dagger, the enchanted blade tearing through flesh and bone as if it were parchment. One of the men stumbles back, clutching at the gaping wound in his throat as his life's blood gushes forth.

"Bitch" a second hisses, as they press their attack and their swords raining down in a ceaseless barrage. Tia twists and turn while her daggers deflect the blows with dizzying speed but she knows that she couldn't keep up this frantic pace forever. Isane breathes heavily as her chest heaves with exertion as she parries another of larkin's lightning-fast strikes. The man's skill with the blade is almost supernatural, his movements a blur of steel and muscle that left no openings. Larkin's longsword lashes out with a deft twist of his wrist and shatters isane's rapier like glass. The force of the blow sends a shockwave rippling through her body as she gasps in pain from a deep gash opening across her chest.

"Poor Little Girl" larkin says, as isane clutches the wound and her fingers slick with crimson. Her vision swims and she fights to stay conscious as a wave of dizziness threatens to overwhelm her. Tia dispatches her last opponent with a vicious thrust of her emerald dagger. The man crumples to the ground, his life's essence ebbing away as tia whirls towards the sound of isane's pained cry. Her eyes widen in horror as she took in the scene with isane, pale and bleeding and her rapier shattered at her feet.

"Isane?!" tia shouts, while larkin looms over isane and his blade poised to strike the killing blow. Tia hurls one of her daggers at the swordsman without hesitation, the crimson-hilted blade spinning end over end. Larkin senses the incoming attack and deftly sidestepped, the dagger clattering harmlessly against the stone floor. His cruel laughter echoes through the ruins as he fully turns his attention towards tia, "Foolish girl.. Did you really think it would be that easy" larkin sneers, his lips curling into a contemptuous sneer. Larkin dashes forward and lashes out with the back of his hand in a blur of motion, catching tia square across the face with a vicious backhand that sends her staggering. Stars explode behind her eyes and she tastes the coppery tang of blood as her cheek is split open from the force of the blow.

"Lord Weiss might be upset I messed up your face" larkin says, as tia staggers back. She fights to regain her balance and her remaining dagger is in a defensive stance as she glares at larkin through narrowed eyes. The man's laughter rings out once more and mocking her futile defiance, "Yield dark elf and perhaps Lord Weiss will show you mercy... Resist and you'll share your friend's fate.. A slow and painful death at the edge of my blade" he taunts, his blade at the ready. Tia's gaze flick towards isane as she on her knees and healing while her life's blood seeps through her fingers. A surge of protective fury wells up within her, burning away the fear and doubt that threatened to consume her.

"Never... I'll die before I surrender to the likes of you" tia hisses, her grip tightening around the hilt of her dagger. Larkin's cruel laughter echoes through the ruins and his mocking gaze fixed on tia, "Then you shall have your wish" he sneers, raising his blade for the killing strike. A gloved hand lashes out before larkin could unleash the fatal blow, clamping down on his wrist with a vice-like grip and halting his swing mid-motion. Tia gasps as a familiar figure is beside larkin and his azure eyes burning with a righteous fury.

"Naruto!" tia exclaims, relief and surprise mingling in her voice. Naruto's gaze flicks towards isane and takes in her battered form while his jaw tightens, and his grip on larkin's wrist tightens until the swordsman's knuckles whiten. Ghost pads over to isane and nuzzles her gently as she heals herself with a soft green glow emanating from her palm.

"You've made a grave mistake attacking my friends" naruto growls, his voice low and laced with menace. Larkin's eyes widen momentarily before narrowing and a sneer curling his lips, "And who might you be?!" he snarls, trying in vain to wrench his arm free from naruto's iron grasp. Ghost lifts his head while baring his teeth at larkin in a menacing snarl, his hackles raised as he senses the threat the swordsman posed. The direwolf's piercing blue eyes seem to mirror the icy fury in naruto's gaze, both of them radiating an aura of power and danger.

"Your reckoning" naruto replies, his tone as cold and unyielding as tempered steel. His steely gaze bores into the swordsman, his killer intent flaring like a tangible force that presses down upon him with suffocating intensity. Naruto wrenches larkin's arm in a vicious joint lock with a deft twist of his wrist, eliciting a pained grunt from the seasoned warrior. The swordsman's blade clatters to the ground and he finds himself forced to his knees, his cocksure bravado shattered in the face of naruto's power. Naruto's gaze shifts to isane and his heart clenches at the sight of her battered form with ghost guarding her protectively, as he releasing larkin's arm, before swiftly making his way to her side and draping his coat over her shivering body.

"I'm sorry Love.. I should have been with you" naruto murmurs, his voice thick with remorse. Isane shakes her head weakly and her grey eyes filled with a determined fire, "Just beat him" she breathes, her fingers clutching at his sleeve. Naruto nods with his jaw set in a grim line as he turns to face larkin once more. The swordsman has retrieves his blade and is eyeing naruto warily, his bravado replaced by a healthy dose of caution. Ghost positions himself between naruto and isane, his piercing blue eyes fixed on larkin, while a menacing snarl escapes his bared fangs. Larkin studies naruto while taking in his well-built frame and the aura of power that seems to emanate from him.

"This boy is formidable.. But that's impossible.. No mere lad could possess such strength" larkin thought to himself, his grip tightening around the hilt of his sword. A flicker of unease still stirs within him as he meets naruto's steely gaze, seeing there is a depth to those azure eyes and a wellspring of power that hints at something far beyond the ordinary. Naruto draws gungir its sheath with a metallic ring and loosens the belt holster, the sheath falling to the ground as he focuses his attention on the formidable foe before him.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" naruto thought, a shadow clone materializes beside him. The clone steps forward and gently scoops isane up into his arms, cradling her battered form with utmost care. Tia joins them as naruto's eyes are on larkin, her fingers tightening around the hilts of her daggers as she shoots a grateful glance at naruto.

"I'll guard her" tia says, her voice steely with determination. The clone carries isane towards the breach in the wall, his movements swift and sure. Tia follows closely behind, her footsteps light and silent, her daggers poised to strike at any threat that dared to impede their escape. Ghost trots alongside them with his snout lifted, gungir's sheath in his mouth and ears perked, alert for any sign of danger.

Naruto and larkin remain locked in a tense standoff, their gazes unwavering as the palpable tension rises. The swordsman's grip tightens around the hilt of his blade, his knuckles whitening with the intensity of his grip.

"You've made a grave mistake.. Lord Weiss does not take kindly to those who defy his will" larkin growls, his eyes narrowing dangerously. Naruto's expression remains impassive and his azure eyes burn with an unshakable resolve, "And you've made an even graver mistake.. Thinking you can harm my beloved and walk away unscathed" he counters, his voice low and laced with menace. Larkin's sneer widens as he takes in naruto's defiant stance and his eyes glint with a mixture of amusement but also disdain, "Bold words indeed.. But let's see if you can back them up with steel" larkin taunts, his deep baritone echoing through the ruined church. Larkin surges forward in a blur of motion, his blade carving a deadly arc through the air but naruto meets the swordsman's strike head-on. Their blades clashing with a resounding clang that reverberates through the crumbling walls. A shower of sparks erupt from the point of impact, illuminating their faces with fleeting bursts of light.

"Interesting" larkin thought, as the force of the collision is staggering. Naruto feels the raw power behind larkin's swing as his boots dig into the debris-strewn floor, his muscles coiling as he pushes back against the relentless onslaught. Larkin's eyes widen momentarily and his sneer falters as he feels the sheer strength coursing through naruto's form. It is as if he were battling a seasoned warrior, not a mere boy but an aura of experience and power cloaked the young man, belying his youthful appearance. Larkin unleashes his own aura, a searing wave of energy that crackles and hisses like a thousand serpents. His blade glows with a malevolent light, the runes etched along its surface pulsing with dark power. The shockwave of unleashed energy drives them back several steps with dust and debris swirling around them, obscuring their vision and coating their faces in a fine layer of grit.

"He can't look to be over eighteen but to use Aura so well" larkin thought and dashes into the dust. Naruto meets him with a deft twist of his wrist and deflecting larkin's blade, turning the swordsman's momentum against him and sending him staggering back. Larkin regains his balance by almost preternatural grace and his eyes glinting with wariness, "Impressive" he grudgingly concedes, his blade at the ready. They rush each other in another furious clash of blades as larkin has a twisted smile curving his lip and he studies naruto's determined features. Larkin launches a blistering assault and his blade a blur of steel as he unleashes a dizzying array of strikes and feints. Each slash is a masterpiece of precision and power, a deadly tapestry woven from years of brutal experience on the battlefield.

"He's good" naruto thought, parrying and deflecting the onslaught with fluid grace. His own movements a mirror image of larkin's deadly dance with their blades clashing and parting, weaving an intricate pattern of steel and fury as they trade blow for blow. Larkin's eyes widen in disbelief as he feels his strikes being met with equal force, his advantage of experience nullified by naruto's innate skill and raw power. It is as if the young man has fought a thousand battles, his instincts honed to a razor's edge by countless clashes with death itself. Larkin redoubles his efforts with a feral snarl, his blade a whirlwind of steel that slices through the air with lethal precision. Naruto meets each strike head-on, his own blade a blur of motion as he parries and counters with calculated efficiency.

"Rargh!" larkin roars, as the air around them crackles with energy and the sheer force of their clash sending shockwaves rippling through the ruined church. Dust and debris swirl around them, obscuring their forms in a hazy veil that only serves to heighten the sense of otherworldly power that permeate the battle. Naruto's eyes narrow as larkin brings forth more of his orange-black aura, a wicked grin spreading across the swordsman's face. Each impact sends a shockwave rippling through the air, the force of their clash causing the very ground to tremble beneath their feet.

"Is that all you've got?!.. I've faced greater challenges than you in my sleep!" larkin taunts, his aura flaring with malevolent energy. He dashes forward to unleash a flurry of strikes against naruto's blade, his movements a blur of precision and raw power. Naruto parries and deflects the onslaught as his own blade weaving an intricate tapestry of steel while matching larkin's assault strike for strike. Their blades clash and part, disturbing the air around them with the sheer force of their exchange. Larkin unleashes a devastating strike and his blade blazing with dark energy as he pours every ounce of his strength into the blow. The force of the strike sends tremors through the ground, sending dust and debris billowing into the air in a choking cloud. Naruto summons forth his own aura as a brilliant whitish-blue light envelopes his blade and radiating pure but unbridled energy. Larkin's eyes widen in shock as the surge of power slams into him, the sheer force of naruto's aura sending him skidding back several feet.

"Impossible!" larkin growls, his jaw clenches as he struggles to maintain his footing. Gungir hums with barely restrained power and casting an ethereal glow that illuminates the ruined church in its radiant light. The air crackles with tension as the two warriors were locked in a silent battle of wills, their auras clashing and intertwining in a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow. Larkin launches himself forward with a feral roar as he unleashes a blistering assault. Each strike is a masterpiece of precision and power, his blade trailing tendrils of dark energy that hiss like living serpents. Larkin's eyes narrow and his jaw clenches as he feels naruto's defense slowly overwhelming his assault but he feints to the left, his blade trailing a wisp of dark energy. Naruto falls for the bait and his guard momentarily falters as he deflects the phantom strike. Larkin strikes in the split second, his blade lashing out in a vicious arc that slices through naruto's defenses.

"Argh!" naruto hisses, as a searing pain lances through his side as larkin's blade bites flesh and drawing a crimson line across his flank. Naruto refuses to yield and his own blade lashes out in retaliation, steel meets steel with a resounding clang and larkin staggers back, having a gash opening along his thigh. Naruto presses his hand to his side, his fingers slick with blood but his gaze remains steady and unwavering. Larkin's sneer twists into a grimace as he favors his injured leg and his aura flickers erratically, "Not bad.. But this is far from over" he growls, his voice laced with begrudging respect. They surge forward with their blades colliding in a shower of sparks and fury. Larkin unleashes a wide and sweeping strike, his blade carving a deadly arc through the air. Naruto leaps back and narrowly avoiding the lethal slash but sucks in a deep breath, his muscles tensing as he uses total concentration breathing.

"Die!" larkin shouts, his blade whistling through the space where naruto had been a heartbeat ago. Their blades meet in yet another furious clash, the air vibrating with the force of their exchange. Larkin's eyes widen as he finds himself struggling to keep up with naruto's relentless assault. Their strikes were a whirlwind of steel as their blades dance, weave, deflect or counter with fluid grace, while simultaneously launching a blistering array of slashes and feints. Larkin grits his teeth with his arm muscles straining as he parries, each clash of their blades sending tremors rippling through the ruined church and the very stones trembling.

"Hekireki Issen: Rokuren" naruto thought and larkin's eyes widen as naruto's movement blur. Gungir strikes with a speed that defies comprehension for larkin as six slashes, each one a blur of steel, rain down upon the swordsman in the span of a single heartbeat. The first strike cleaves through larkin's guard with the force of the blow sending tremors through his arms. The second and third slashes follow in rapid succession, one carving a deep gash across his thigh, the other scoring a fiery line along his ribs. Larkin staggers back as his breath comes in ragged gasps while he struggles to defend against the relentless onslaught. The fourth and fifth strikes shatter his defense, the blows slamming into his shoulder and side with bone-jarring force. The final strike is a devastating blow that severs larkin's sword arm at the shoulder and his black longsword clatters to the ground, the blade stained crimson with his blood.

"Argh!.. Fuck!" larkin hisses, falling to his knees and his remaining hand clutching at the ragged stump of his right shoulder. His face is contorted in a mask of agony and disbelief as he stares up at naruto while his eyes pleading. Naruto releases a breath of steam, like a kettle whistling its fury as he gazes down at the defeated swordsman. Larkin's eyes were wide while his mouth opens and closes in a silent plea for mercy. Blood pours from the severed limb and staining the ground around him in a crimson pool. His chest heaves with each ragged breath, the pain etched into the lines of his face.

"Mercy... Grant me mercy... I beg of you" larkin gasps, his voice strained and thick with pain. Naruto's gaze is unwavering and his blade still raised while thrumming with barely restrained power, "You laid hands on Isane... You owe me a pound of flesh" he said, his voice low and laced with steely determination.

"No.. Wait..." larkin starts but with a single motion. Naruto's blade cleaves through larkin's neck in a crimson arc and taking his head. It tumbles to the ground as his lifeless eyes are still frozen in a mask of horror and disbelief. Naruto stands over the fallen warrior with his blade dripping with crimson, his features set in a grim mask of resolution. The ruined church is silent, save for the faint patter of larkin's blood as it pools on the debris-strewn floor. Naruto's aura fades as the shimmering whitish-blue light leaves his blade, showing the battle come to its brutal conclusion.

"Naruto?!" a familiar voice calls out, shattering the eerie silence. Naruto turns and sees tia standing in the ruined doorway with her eyes flicking from larkin's decapitated corpse to naruto, a myriad of emotions playing across her features. Naruto lowers his blade and the tension draining from his body, "Isane.. Is she alright?!" he says, his voice urgent and his eyes were filled with concern.

"She's alive but weak from healing her own wounds.. Your direwolf Ghost is keeping watch over her and the clone you left went to find the others" tia says, her lips in a thin line. Relief washes over naruto's face, "Thank the Gods" he murmurs, his gaze flicking back to larkin's lifeless form.

"The self-proclaimed 'Hound' met his end at the fangs of a White Wolf" tia murmurs, her voice thick with a mixture of awe and trepidation. Naruto's expression hardens as he gazes upon larkin's lifeless form and his grip tightening on the hilt of his sword, "He was a monster.. He deserved far worse than a swift death" he growls, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity.

"Indeed" tia says curtly, as naruto moves to larkin's severed head. He reaches down and grasps the matted hair to lift the grisly trophy from the ground, "I told Weiss' men I would bring them Larkin's head.. And I intend to keep my word" naruto said, his voice laced with grim determination. Tia nods slowly with her lips pressed into a thin line as she contemplates the brutal justice that had unfolded before her eyes. They turn to leave the ruined church with the severed head of larkin swinging limply in naruto's grasp, leaving the bodies inside to rot as a grisly reminder.
