AN1: Hello All and welcome back, kick up your feet and sit by the fire as I spin you another yarn. First Thank you to Just Guest for ideas but I don't believe I'll need them as I have Naruto's final spot for his Knight Order but I will need War Bands for my Cadia Arc inspired by the Chaos War Bands of WH40k so go wild. Mr E Guest I want the Seven to come from Orochimaru's country. Sasuke suits Pride, Guren(Lust) or Envy, Kabuto(Gluttony) and the like. Sasuke will kill Orochimaru like Canon and goes into business for himself with his other Sins. Anyway I'll be taking idea for mini arcs because I have about two years of story before Konoha comes a knocking. I'm working on the Icewind Dale right now as a major arc and Cadia the second major arc but that won't take up two years so I'm curious what you would like to see. Thank you for everyone's Support and Would you Kindly Review. Thank you to everyone who has supported and let's push on.

The caravan from del-durne snakes its way through the winding road as naruto rides at the tail end, his azure eyes scanning the horizon with unwavering vigilance. His keen senses were attuned to every rustle of foliage, every distant sound that could herald the approach of auBerst's army. Naruto's fingers swiftly form the tiger hand-sign and a dozen shadow clones materialize beside him, their identical azure eyes burning with determination.

"Fan out.. Station yourselves at intervals of two miles and conceal yourselves within the foliage.. Keep a watchful eye for any signs of the enemy and disperse the moment they are spotted.. We cannot afford to be caught off guard" naruto instructs, his voice low and urgent. The clones nod in unison as their expressions mirror naruto's grim resolve. Without a word, they scatter and their lithe forms melt seamlessly into the surrounding vegetation and begin taking up the positions like silent sentinels, their keen senses attuned to the slightest disturbance in the forest. Naruto's gaze follows the departing clones with his jaw set in a hard line. An hour into the caravan's journey and at the front brienne raises her hand, signaling for the procession to grind to a halt. The weary travelers lets out a collective sigh of relief with their bodies aching from the arduous trek.

"We shall rest here for a brief respite.. Those on foot.. Take this opportunity to catch your breath and replenish your strength" brienne calls out, her voice carrying over the hushed murmurs of the crowd. Naruto remains mounted atop liam and his azure gaze scanning the winding path ahead. The horse's hooves crunch against the gravel-strewn road, its powerful muscles rippling beneath its glossy coat. Naruto guides liam, to the edge of the caravan's procession with a gentle tug on the reins and his vigilant for any sign of danger. The weary travelers settle in for a brief respite as naruto reaches into his satchel and withdraws a well-worn compass that was given to him by liam's namesake. The intricate markings etched onto its surface gleam in the sun, reflecting the unwavering determination burning in naruto's eyes.

"I need your help Liam" naruto thought, flicking his wrist and opening the compass to study the needle's steady point, his brow furrowed in concentration. The steady drumbeat of hooves against the dusty trail herald brienne's approach. Naruto turns in his saddle, his azure gaze meeting the steel-eyed warrior woman as she reins in her steed beside him.

"Naruto!" brienne calls out, her voice carrying a note of urgency.

"We're making good progress but I fear we must remain vigilant.. AuBerst's forces could catch up to us at any moment" naruto says, inclining his head in acknowledgment. Brienne's grip tightens on the reins and her knuckles whitening with resolve, "You speak true.. We cannot afford to let our guard down.. Not even for a moment" she replies, her voice low and grim. She casts a sweeping glance over the caravan, her eyes taking in the weary travelers huddled together as their faces are etched with fear and exhaustion.

"These people have endured more hardship than any should bear in such a short time" brienne murmurs, a flicker of sorrow passing across her features.

"We must press on with all haste.. Fort Helmund is our only hope for sanctuary and we cannot tarry on the road any longer than necessary" brienne declares, her expression hardening once more. Naruto nods with his jaw set in a hard line, "Agreed.. I've stationed shadow clones at intervals along our path but even with their added vigilance.. We cannot afford to grow complacent" he said, his fingers tightening around the reins.

"I share your concerns" brienne says with a grim expression, "You four.. Ride ahead and scout the path for any signs of danger.. Report back to us with haste" she adds, turning her attention to a small group of mounted scouts. The scouts salute sharply before wheeling their steeds around and galloping off, their cloaks billowing behind them in a cloud of dust. At the same time isane walks among the caravan with a gentle grace, her melodious voice carrying over the hushed murmurs, offering soothing words of comfort and reassurance. She passes by a young mother cradling a fretful babe and isane pauses, her eyes filled with empathy as she kneels beside them, her movements fluid and unhurried.

"Here.. Let me" isane murmurs, placing her palm upon the child's brow. A faint shimmer of healing energy pulses from her fingertips and the babe's cries gradually subside, replaced by the soft coos of contentment. The mother looks up at isane with gratitude shining in her eyes and offering a tremulous smile, "Thank you" the mother says, her voice thick with emotion. Isane returns the smile and her own eyes shimmering with unshed tears, "It is the least I can do.. We must all lend our strength to one another in times such as these" she replies softly, before rising to her feet. Isane continues her ministrations while pausing to offer a kind word or a gentle touch wherever it is needed. Tia is nearby as her slender fingers deftly caress the edges of her twin daggers to sharpen them, the blades gleaming under the sunlight that dapples through the foliage. Her pointed ears twitch at every rustle, every subtle shift in the air, her senses honed to their sharpest edge.

"Dark Elf.. What was your life like before all this.. Before we found you in that cage" nazira rumbles, her voice a low timbre. Tia's lithe fingers still and the daggers resting motionless in her lap as she lifts her gaze, her aqua green eyes shimmering with a myriad of emotions.

"My life was... Different.. My people lived in the shadows.. Hidden from the prying eyes of humans and their ilk" tia murmurs, her voice soft yet laced with an undercurrent of steel. She falls silent for a moment and her eyes grow distant, "We were nomads and wandering the forests.. Forever seeking solace in the embrace of nature.. Our ways were old.. Older than the crumbling ruins that dot these lands" tia says, as if peering into a memory long forgotten as the half-orc listens intently.

"But all that changed.. The humans encroached upon our sanctuaries.. Their greed and ignorance laying waste to the very lands we hold sacred.. We were forced to flee.. Our once-verdant homes reduced to ash and ruin.. Before long I ended up in that cage" tia continues, her voice hardening with a bitter edge. Nazira's brow furrows as she listens to tia's words with her expression torn between understanding and mild reproach, "Not all humans are bad... Take the blondie over there.. According to Isane and Tomoe.. He was always compared to his prodigy brother and that's what drove him to come west.. He's not afraid to help anyone he can" she said, nodding her head towards naruto as he is conversing with brienne in hushed tones.

"I suppose you have a point.. He doesn't seem like the typical human I've encountered.. There's a... Resilience about him.. A strength that goes beyond mere physical prowess" tia says, her aqua green eyes settling on naruto's form and her features soften as she studies him.

"Yeah.. He been through his fair share of hardships but instead of letting it break him.. He's used it as fuel to forge himself into a force to be reckoned with" nazira says, a ghost of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"We shouldn't linger here much long" brienne said, her voice low and urgent as naruto slips his compass back into his satchel.

"I agree.. My clones haven't dispelled but we can't take any chances" naruto says as brienne nods, her steely gaze resolute.

"Everyone gather your belongings and be ready to depart!" brienne says, raising her voice and her command ringing out over the crowd. As the townsfolk scramble to heed brienne's words, dark clouds begin to gather overhead, obscuring the sun's rays and casting a somber hue across the caravan's path. A cool breeze whispers through the trees as rustling the leaves in a gentle symphony. Brienne rides to the front as naruto remains in the rear before the caravan begins it's slow march. Isane rides up next to brienne with a distant and thoughtful expression, "Lady Brienne.. What can you tell me of this Fort Helmund" she asks, her voice cutting through the hushed murmurs of the crowd.

"Fort Helmund is a formidable stronghold.. Built into a man-made gorge.. Its walls are carved from the very rock itself.. Rendering it nigh impregnable" brienne replies, her voice tinged with a mixture of pride and solemnity as she pauses for a moment.

"The outer wall stands twenty feet high with a parapet broad enough for four men to walk abreast.. The battlements are well-designed and provide ample cover for archers to rain down volleys upon any foolish enough to assail the fort" brienne says, her eyes as she recalls the tales she has heard of the fortress.

"And what of the entrance.. Surely such a fortification would have a means of ingress and egress" isane asks, listening intently and her brow furrowed in contemplation.

"The main gate is a marvel of engineering indeed.. Wrought from solid oak and reinforced with steel bands.. It stands as an unyielding barrier against would-be invaders.. But that is merely the first line of defense" brienne continues, her eyes shining with admiration and pauses again.

"At the wall's eastern end.. There stands a formidable tower.. Its battlements bristling with arrow slits and murder holes.. From that vantage point.. The archers can rain down a deadly hail upon any foolish enough to approach the gate" brienne continues, shifting in her saddle and her gaze sweeping over the gathered townsfolk.

"And what of a siege?!.. Surely even the mightiest fortress can be brought to its knees if the invaders have the patience and resources" isane said, her brow furrowed as she contemplates brienne's words.

"Fort Helmund is no ordinary stronghold.. Its defenses are designed to withstand even the most protracted of sieges.. At the western end of the wall.. A winding stair leads up to the fortress itself.. Granting the defenders a means of ingress and egress even if the main gate is breached" brienne says, nodding grimly and her expression darkens.

"But that is not all.. At the rear of the fortress.. Three separate stairs descend into the very depths of the rock itself and leading to a vast network of caves.. Should the need arise.. The defenders can retreat into these subterranean passages.. Denying the invaders access to the fort itself" brienne says, a flicker of concern passing across her features.

"And what of the garrison.. Surely a fortress of such magnitude requires a formidable force to defend it" isane says with a nod, her brow furrowed in thought.

"Indeed.. Fort Helmund is garrisoned by a company of seasoned soldiers from Grimdale.. A town to the west.. They are well-trained and battle-hardened and prepared to defend the fortress at all costs" brienne replies, a hint of pride in her voice.

"Are these soldiers loyal to AuBerst" isane inquires, her tone laced with concern.

"The garrison at Fort Helmund owes no allegiance to AuBerst.. They are free soldiers.. Bound by no banners or oaths beyond their duty to protect the people of these lands" brienne says with her expression hardening and her eyes narrowing with resolve.

"That is heartening to hear" isane says with her features softening, a glimmer of relief passing across her delicate features. Tia has been listening intently to the exchange and her aqua green eyes flicker with a mixture of curiosity and wariness as she studies brienne's features.

"And what of the fortress' commander.. Is he a man of honor.. One who would not bow to AuBerst's demands.. Even under the direst of circumstances" tia inquires, her melodious voice carrying a hint of steel.

"The commander of Fort Helmund is a man of unwavering integrity.. His name is Ser Dondarrion Hollister and he has sworn a sacred oath to defend the fortress and its people until his dying breath" brienne replies, meeting tia's gaze and her expression resolute.

"Ser Dondarrion is a veteran of countless battles.. His sword arm tempered by years of bitter conflict.. He is a true warrior in every sense of the word but more importantly.. He is a man of principle who would sooner perish than surrender his honor" brienne adds, a ghost of a smile tugs at the corners of her lips as both nod. At the midpoint of the caravan is cedric riding on his chestnut steed, his eyes scanning the winding path ahead. Nazira strides with purposeful steps and her massive sword glints from the sun.

"Nazira.. I can't help but wonder why you choose to walk.. Rather than ride atop a mount befitting your stature.. Like one of the Draft Horses pulling the wagons" cedric calls out, his voice carrying a note of curiosity. Nazira's lip curls in a half-smirk as she glances to cedric, "I can see why you might ask.. But the truth is.. I've never found much need for horses.. Even ones as sturdy as those draft beasts" she rumbles, her tone laced with amusement.

"You see.. My people have always been accustomed to traveling on foot.. Our endurance is second to none and we can cover vast distances with ease" nazira adds, gesturing towards the towering shire horses and their broad backs laden with supplies.

"But surely.. Even one with your stamina would benefit from the swiftness of a mount.. We've a long journey ahead and every advantage could mean the difference between life and death" cedric says with his brow furrowed after he considers nazira's words. Nazira's eyes narrow and her expression becomes pensive, "You speak true but But there's more to it than mere swiftness or endurance" she concedes and falls silent for a moment, her gaze distant as if peering into a memory long forgotten.

"My people have always had a deep connection to the land.. Every step we take.. Every path we tread is a sacred act.. A way of honoring the earth that sustains us.. To ride upon the back of a beast would sever that bond.. That intimate understanding of the land and all its nuances" nazira continues, her voice taking on a reverent tone. Cedric's expression softens with a flicker of understanding passing across his features, "I see" he murmurs and his gaze drifts over the caravan, "But wait Nazira.. I've seen you ride in the wagon.. How is that different from riding a mount" he adds, the thought striking him.

"You're observant Cedric.. It's true.. I do ride in the wagon.. But that's different.. The wagon doesn't separate me from the earth entirely.. I can still feel the vibrations of the ground through the wooden planks.. It's... A compromise" nazira says with a deep chuckle that seems to vibrate through the air, "Besides the wagon is a creation of mortal hands.. Not a living creature.. It doesn't have a spirit that could interfere with my connection to the land.. It's a tool.. Nothing more" she adds, her eyes scanning the horizon.

"I never thought of it that way.. Your people's traditions are fascinating Nazira.. I'd like to learn more about them.. If you're willing to share" cedric says with a slow nod, processing this new information. Nazira's eyes glint with understanding but also mischief as she studies cedric and a sly grin spreading across her rugged features.

"Tell me Cedric.. Have you ever ridden a half-orc woman" nazira rumbles, her tone laced with innuendo. Cedric's eyes widen in surprise and his cheeks flushing a deep crimson, "W-what?!.. What kind of question is that?!" he stammers, nearly choking on his own words. Nazira throws back her head and lets out a booming laugh with the sound echoing through the trees like a rolling thunderclap, "Relax.. I'm just having a bit of fun with you" she chuckled, clapping cedric's horse on the ass with enough force to nearly unseat him. Cedric regains his composure and shoots nazira a half-hearted glare, "Your idea of fun is rather... Unorthodox" he mutters, though a reluctant smile tugs at the corners of his lips.

"Perhaps.. But you humans take yourselves far too seriously.. A little levity can go a long way on a journey as perilous as this" nazira concedes with a shrug of her broad shoulders, her grin undiminished.

"You make a fair point.. Laughter can be a balm in even the darkest of times" cedric admits and he couldn't help but nod in agreement, his features relaxing into a more genuine smile. Further back in the caravan is tomoe guiding her chestnut mare alongside mio in their wagon and ceras riding beside them, their steeds moving in a steady rhythm. Ceras' brow is furrowed with her eyes distant as she contemplates the horrors they witnessed in del-durne.

"The atrocities committed by AuBerst.. Angron and his cult are truly abhorrent.. To think they would unleash such abominations upon Del-durne" ceras mutters, her voice laced with disgust.

"Those wretched creatures.. Twisted beyond recognition by dark magics and foul rituals.. The haunting screams of the villagers still echo in my mind" mio says, her delicate features twisted in revulsion. Tomoe's grip tightens on the reins and her knuckles whitening with barely restrained fury, compared to her usual jovial nature.

"We must put an end to Angron's reign of terror.. No more innocents shall suffer at the hands of his depraved followers" tomoe declares, her voice steely with resolve. Ceras nods with her jaw set in a hard line, "Agreed.. We cannot falter in our quest to bring justice to these lands" she says with her eyes glinting from determination, a fire burning within them that belies her regal demeanor. As they ride, the rhythmic cadence of the horses' hooves seem to echo the steady beat of their hearts, a shared pulse of righteous fury and unwavering resolve.

"I fear the attack on the village may have been a mere test for the cult and AuBerst.. A means to capture more subjects for their twisted experiments" tomoe says, her brow furrowed and her voice grave. Mio's eyes narrow and her delicate features harden with barely restrained anger, "Those vile monsters.. To think they would unleash such abominations upon an innocent village.. All for the sake of capturing more victims to fuel their twisted experiments" she said, her voice laced with contempt.

"It's a grim possibility.. Angron and his followers are clearly driven by a lust for power and a complete disregard for human life.. Using the attack as a means to bolster their ranks would align with their depraved methods" ceras replies, her jaw set in a hard line. As they continue down the winding path and a palpable sense of urgency hangs in the air, fueled by the knowledge that countless lives were at stake.

Meanwhile aron's jaw remains set in a grim line, his determination to bring the people of del-durne to justice burning fiercely within him or in his mind justice.

"Ser Aron.. Our scouts have confirmed that the caravan is indeed headed for Fort Helmund.. Like we suspected" sofia says, her honeyed voice breaking the silence as she rides up beside him. Aron grunts and his grip tightening on the reins of his steed, "Dondarrion Hollister has always been a thorn in our side.. This time he will go too far by harboring the traitors of Del-durne" he growls, knowing the old knight will take them in.

"Fort Helmund is a formidable stronghold but with the might of our army.. We shall bring it crumbling down upon their heads" mitsurugi says, his eyes glinting with malicious intent. A cruel smile twists sofia's beautiful features, "And when we do.. Hollister and his ilk will beg for mercy.. But we shall show them none.. For their defiance must be met with the harshest of punishments" she purrs, her fingers caressing her body in anticipation.

"Hollister has long been defying King Mordred's authority at every turn.. This time his insolence has gone too far.. We shall raze Fort Helmund to the ground and any who dare stand in our way shall be put to the sword" aron says, nodding grimly. The twins exchange a knowing glance and their eyes alight with malevolent glee, "It shall be our pleasure to deliver the King's Justice upon these traitors" mitsurugi hisses, his fingers curling around the rein of his horse. As the army presses on and the sun gradually begins to dip towards the horizon, casting long shadows across the rugged terrain. Ser aron raises his hand and signals for the troops to halt, "We make camp here for the night!" he barks, his voice carrying over the ranks of weary soldiers. A flurry of activity ensues as the troops quickly set about establishing a makeshift encampment. Tents were erected, fires were kindled and a hunting party is dispatched to scour the surrounding woods for game. Aron dismounts from his steed, his armored boots thudding heavily against the ground as he strides towards sofia and mitsurugi, who were erecting their personal tent.

"In the morning.. I'll send a raiding party on horseback ahead of our army.. I want the two of you to lead it" aron announces, his voice gruff but authoritative. Sofia arches a delicate eyebrow and her full lips curling into a wry smile, "A wise decision Ser Aron.. We shall scout ahead and ensure the path is clear for the main force to follow" she purrs, her eyes glinting with anticipation.

"And should we encounter any stragglers or scouts from Fort Helmund.. We shall deal with them swiftly and without mercy" mitsurugi adds, a hint of malice lacing his tone.

"Good.. I want no surprises when we reach the fortress" aron grunts in approval, his jaw set in a grim line. The twins exchange a knowing glance and their eyes alight with malevolent glee, "Fear not Ser Aron.. We shall ensure that any who stand in our way are swiftly and thoroughly... Dealt with" sofia croons, her voice rich with dark promise as mitsurugi's twisted into a cruel smirk. Aron nods as the camp took shape around them while the hunters returned, their quarry slung over their shoulders.

"Prepare a meal.. We must keep our strength up for the battle to come" aron orders gruffly and soon his nostrils flaring at the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked meat. As night fall, the camp is awash in the flickering glow of campfires and the aroma of roasting meat wafting through the air. Aron sits apart from his troops and his helmet discarded as he tore into a haunch of venison. Sofia and mitsurugi join him, their eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger that went beyond mere sustenance.

"Our quarry eludes us but we will soon find them" sofia murmurs, her gaze fixed on the crackling flames.

"Aye.. We grow closer with every passing hour and with it Fort Helmund will fall" aron says, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Dondarrion Hollister.. It will be a pleasure to see him brought low" mitsurugi says, his eyes narrowed and his expression inscrutable. A cruel smile twists sofia's features, "And when we have crushed him.. We shall deliver the full weight of our retribution upon the people of Del-durne" she purrs, drinking some wine from a wine pouch.

"King Mordred's wrath shall be swift and merciless" aron says, his jaw set in a grim line. As the night wore on, the camp grew quiet and the soldiers slumbering fitfully in their tents. But for aron and the twins, sleep eluded them as their minds are consumed by visions of the carnage to come.

Back when the sun dips below the horizon while painting the sky in hues of crimson and gold, the caravan comes to a halt in a small clearing surrounded by towering pines. The weary travelers let collective sighs of relief as their bodies ache from the long journey. Brienne wastes no time in barking out orders, "We make camp here for the night!.. Set up the tents and start gathering firewood.. Rotate watch shifts.. Two to three at a time.. We cannot afford to let our guard down.. Even for a moment" she shouts, her authoritative voice carrying over the hushed murmurs of the crowd. Naruto dismounts from liam and his azure gaze sweeping over the clearing with a critical eye.

"Keep an eye on things Ghost" naruto says as the direwolf pads ups beside him, his blue eyes scanning the surroundings with an almost preternatural alertness. Ghost's ears twitch at the slightest sound and its powerful jaws parting ever so slightly as it scented the air for any potential threats. As the weary travelers begin to set up their meager camp as ghost circles the perimeter, its pale fur almost ghostly in the fading twilight.

"Brienne... They've endured more hardship than most could bear" naruto calls out, his voice low and urgent. Brienne's expression softens imperceptibly and her gaze betraying a flicker of understanding, "You speak true" she murmurs, her brow furrowing in thought. It is then that isane approaches with her silver hair gleaming like moonlight in the fading twilight. A gentle smile graces her delicate features as she observes the weary travelers setting up their camp.

"Perhaps a touch of respite is in order.. A song or two to soothe their frayed nerves and lift their spirits, even if only for a fleeting moment" isane suggests, her melodious voice carrying a soothing lilt. Brienne considers isane's words and her expression is pensive, "Very well.. A moment of levity may do them good.. Though we must be mindful of the dangers that lurk in the shadows" she says after a moment, giving a curt nod of acquiescence. Isane's smile widens as she turns towards the gathered townsfolk and raising her voice in a clear but resonant tone, "Good people of Del-durne.. If you would lend me your ears for a moment.. I would share a song with you.. A melody to ease your weary souls and remind you of the beauty that still lingers in this world" she declares, while holding naruto's hand. The townsfolk pause in their tasks as their faces were etched with a mixture of fatigue and curiosity. They slowly gather around isane and are drawn in by the promise of momentary respite from their harrowing journey.

"I will join you" tia says and joins isane on her right side while naruto moves beside brienne. The two young women and begin to sign a haunting melody, their harmonies intertwining in a sublime tapestry of sound. The song takes on a melancholic yet captivating quality, weaving tales of ancient forests and moonlit glades, of a time when the world is young and unspoiled. The townsfolk find themselves enraptured, their worries and fears momentarily forgotten. Mothers cradle their babes and sway gently to the rhythm of the song, while children sit cross-legged on the ground as their eyes wide with wonder. Even nazira finds herself drawn to the music with her usually stern features softening as she listened intently. Her calloused fingers drummed an idle beat against her thigh, a subconscious accompaniment to the haunting singing. Ceras feels the weight of her burdens lifting, if only for a fleeting moment as mio and tomoe stand at her sides. Cedric leans back against the sturdy trunk of a pine, his sword resting across his lap as he allows the song to wash over him like a soothing balm. As the final notes fade into the night air and a profound silence settles over the camp, broken only by the gentle crackling of the newly kindled fires. The townsfolk seem to bask in the afterglow of the song, their faces relaxed and their spirits momentarily buoyed.

"You have done these people a great service this eve" brienne says, approaching isane and tia with her gaze holding a glimmer of gratitude.

"It was the least I could do.. For even a fleeting moment of respite can kindle the embers of hope within the weariest of souls" isane replies, inclining her head and a warm smile gracing her delicate features. Naruto steps closer as he takes her hand in his and places a tender kiss on her cheek, "You were amazing.. Your voice has the power to soothe even the weariest of souls" he murmurs, his azure eyes shining with admiration as isane blushes. Ghost pads over and nudges naruto's leg affectionately as if sensing the tender moment between the two. Isane reaches down to ruffle the direwolf's pale fur and her melodic laughter ringing out like a silver bell. As the night wears on, the camp settles into a tentative rhythm as the townsfolk huddle around the flickering fires while sharing meager rations and swapping tales of days long past. Brienne stirs from her restless slumber about two hours before dawn, her gaze sweeping over the slumbering townsfolk as she rises to her feet. Their faces peaceful in the fleeting moments before the harsh realities of their journey would once again settle upon them. She sees naruto sitting with ghost by a fire, the direwolf's blue eyes ever vigilant.

"It's time to break camp.. We must press on before the sun rises" brienne murmurs, her voice low but carrying an undeniable authority. Naruto acknowledges her words with a solemn nod and his own features etched with a determination that belied his youthful appearance. He moves among the tents to rouse the weary travelers with gentle but firm prompts. As the camp stirs to life, the townsfolk move with a practiced efficiency born of necessity. Tents were struck, belongings gathered and the embers of the dying campfires carefully extinguished. The air is thick with a somber silence, punctuated only by the occasional murmur or the crunch of boots on the forest floor. Isane moves among the townsfolk, offering what small words of encouragement she can as her melodic voice, still tinged with the haunting beauty of the previous night's song, seems to lift their spirits ever so slightly.

"Fear not.. The path may be arduous but we walk it together.. Take heart in the knowledge that each step brings us closer to Fort Helmund" isane whispers to a young mother clutching a swaddled babe to her breast. The woman manages a tremulous smile, her eyes shining with gratitude as she nodded her understanding. Nearby are cedric and nazira working in tandem, loading the provisions and supplies onto the sturdy pack animals for the day's journey. Brienne mounts her horse and turns to address the gathered caravan, "Make ready to depart!.. We still have a long road ahead but our resolve must remain steadfast.. Keep your wits about you and your eyes peeled for any sign of danger" she calls out, her voice carrying across the clearing. A murmur of assent ripples through the crowd and the townsfolk begin to fall into their customary lines, the pack animals laden with their meager belongings taking their places at the center of the procession. The caravan sets out as the forest seems to close in around them, the towering pines looming like long shadows that dance and flickered with each step.

"Come on Boy" naruto says, tapping liam's sides. Ghost pads alongside naruto with his pale fur gleaming like freshly fallen snow, his keen senses ever alert for any potential threat. Time passes and the sun is now up, casting its warm glow upon the winding forest trail as naruto rides at the tail-end of the caravan. Ghost trots alongside him, his ears twitched and blue eyes narrowed as if sensing something amiss. Naruto seizes a little as the memories of one of his clone stationed farther back floods his consciousness.

"Scouts?!.. I need to take them down" naruto thought and without hesitation, creates a shadow clone and dispatches it to the front of the procession.

"Find Isane and stay with her" naruto says to ghost, the direwolf's blue eyes fixed upon him with an almost uncanny intelligence. Ghost lets out a low whuff of understanding before bounding off, its pale form weaving through the line of travelers with fluid grace.

Naruto quickly wheels liam around and the black stallion responding instantly to his rider's commands. He urges his horse into a gallop with a quick nudge to his sides, their path diverging from the caravan and leading them back towards their makeshift camp in the forest. The dense forest foliage rushes past in a blur of verdant hues but soon naruto reins in liam's powerful strides. The stallion's hooves kicking up a plume of dust as they approach the decent-sized clearing where their campsite had been erected the previous night.

"Lets hope this works" naruto thought and creates a dozen shadow clones, "We going to use what Zabuza Momochi did in Wave Country.. We may not know the Silent Killing Technique but we can at least distract them" he says as the clones nod, weaving a series of intricate hand seals in unison.

"Ninpo: Hidden Mist Jutsu" they murmur, using the laden morning dew for their jutsu. A thick but milky fog begins to fill the clearing, obscuring the densely packed trees and shrouding the surrounding area in an ethereal haze. The shadow clones disperse silently into the mist, their forms melding seamlessly into the misty veil, each one taking up a strategic position along the perimeter of the clearing while their senses heighten and go on alert. Naruto guides liam deeper into the dense foliage, the stallion's hooves silent on the carpeted forest floor. The black horse seems to sense the gravity of the situation, its muscles tense and alert as it navigates the maze of undergrowth or gnarled tree roots.

"Easy Liam" naruto whispers, concealed within the verdant canopy. The eerie silence is punctuated only by the soft whickering of liam, the stallion's breath misting in the chill air. At the same time sofia and mitsurugi were leading the scouting party of twenty horsemen while following the trail left by the caravan. The twins ride at the forefront, their cloaks billowing behind them as their steeds thunder across the rugged terrain.

"The tracks are fresh.. They cannot be more than a few hours ahead of us" mitsurugi calls out, his keen eyes scanning the ground.

"Excellent.. We shall soon have them within our grasp" sofia says, her lips curling into a predatory grin. The scouting party press on with their pace relentless but as they crest a hill, a thick bank of fog looms before them while obscuring the path ahead. Sofia and mitsurugi were undeterred as they urge their mounts forward, leading the group into the misty veil as they bring their horses to a halt while the sounds of a few birds chirp in the distance. The rhythmic beating of hooves pierce the eerie silence, growing louder with each passing moment and the scouts tense, their hands instinctively gripping the hilts of their weapons.

"No man!" naruto shouts, his voice cutting through the eerie fog like a blade and chaos erupts within the scouting party's ranks. A scout cries out in agony as his head is cleaved from his shoulders, his lifeless body tumbling from the saddle. Mitsurugi and sofia's eyes widen as a black stallion passes to vanish into the mist, "Ambush!" he roars, steadying his horse. Naruto comes for another pass as liam releases a loud neigh, cleaving another scout's head from his shoulders before he could even raise his weapon. Liam vanishes back into the swirling mist, leaving only the echo of its bone-chilling neigh in its wake.

"Show yourselves coward!" sofia snarls, her eyes scanning the obscuring fog for any sign of movement. The remaining scouts huddle their horses together, their weapons drawn and their nerves frayed. The fog seems to shift and writhe as if alive, obscuring their vision and heightening their sense of dread. Mitsurugi's expression hardens as he surveys the scene as his jaw clenches, "Whatever foul creatures lurk within this accursed fog.. They shall feel the bite of our blades" he growls, his grip tightening on the hilt of his sword. Suddenly does a flurry of throwing knives streak through the mist, striking down a few scouts and horses before they could react. The horses hit lurch up and fall to crush their riders with their agonized screams echoing. Sofia and mitsurugi swiftly dismount their horses, their weapons drawn and their eyes scanning the swirling fog for any sign of movement.

"There!" sofia hisses, her fingers tightening around the hilt of her dagger. Naruto darts through the mist with liam's hooves thundering against the ground. Mitsurugi's gaze follows his sister's and his green eyes glinting with anticipation, "I see him" he says, his blade at the ready. Naruto comes through and lashes out with gungir, his blade slicing through the air with deadly precision. One of the remaining scouts cries out in agony as the blade caught him across the chest, his body tumbling lifelessly from his saddle.

"Enough of this!" sofia snarls, her eyes ablaze with fury. With a sweep of her clenched fist, a powerful gust of wind erupts as it disperses the mist, his clones and revealing naruto. He sits astride his black stallion and his longsword gripped firmly in his hand with his azure eyes on them.

"Impressive.. But futile.. You cannot hope to stand against the might of the Cult of Diablos" mitsurugi hisses, his gaze fixed on naruto's form. Naruto dismounts from liam and pats the stallion's rear, his hooves thudding against the earth as he moves to safety.

"You belong to Angron's cult" naruto states, his voice low and steady. Sofia and mitsurugi exchange a knowing glance before dropping their cloaks, revealing their lithe frames clad in sleek but black leather armor. The intricate tattoo-like patterns adorning mitsurugi's features were now fully visible, accentuating the cruel twist of his lips.

"Observant aren't you?!.. Indeed we serve the great Angron and his will is our command" sofia purrs, her eyes glinting with malice.

"And you stranger.. Have made the grave mistake of interfering with our mission" mitsurugi says, his grip tightening on the hilt of his blade. Naruto's expression remains impassive as he levels his longsword at the twins, "Your mission of slaughter and oppression ends here" he declares, his voice carrying a steely edge.

"Bold words.. But you have no idea the power you're trifling with" sofia says, a cruel smile twisting her features and gripping her dagger. Naruto's grip tightens on the hilt of his longsword as he eyes the twins warily, feeling they were formidable opponents and both have an aura power but also confidence.

"We are the elite warriors of the Diablos cult and our skills are unmatched" mitsurugi says, mirroring his sister's cruel smirk and his emerald eyes glinting with anticipation. Naruto remains silent with his piercing blue eyes flickering between the twins as he assesses their stances and movements.

"No clever retort?!.. Or have you finally realized the folly of your actions?!" sofia taunts, her eyes narrowed as she studies naruto's impassive expression.

"No matter.. We shall take great pleasure in teaching you the true meaning of power" sofia purrs, her dagger poised to strike. She lunges forward in blur of movement and naruto reacts instantly with his longsword lashing out to deflect the strike with a resounding clang of steel against steel. The force of the impact sends tremors through naruto's arm and he grits his teeth as he holds his ground. Sofia's strength is far greater than he anticipated and he knows he would have to be cautious in his approach. Mitsurugi joins the fray with his blade arcing through the air in a series of precise strikes. Naruto pivots and parries while his longsword a blur as he deflects each blow with practiced ease. The three warriors dances a deadly dance, their blades clashing and sparks flying with each collision.

"These two are dangerous" naruto thought with each parry and riposte. He feels himself being gradually pushed back by the sheer ferocity of the twins' unrelenting assault. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, each strike complementing the other, leaving him little room to counterattack. Mitsurugi leaps back suddenly with his emerald eyes glinting as he flips his sword and effortlessly tosses it sofia. The blade spins through the air and sofia's hand snaps out, snatching the hilt with practiced ease. Sofia blitzes naruto with a wide grin as mitsurugi raises his hand and with a twist of his fingers while sword blades materialize from thin air. Naruto's eyes widen as he realizes the true extent of mitsurugi's abilities, wielding powerful magic at his command and his grip tightens on gungir's hilt as he prepares for the next onslaught.

"Let's see how you fare against our combined might" sofia taunts, her lips curving into a predatory grin and her voice dripping with confidence. The twins launch their renewed assault without warning, their movements a blur of steel and sorcery. Naruto dances across the clearing with his longsword deflecting the rain of blows while he dodges the blades conjured by mitsurugi's magic or sofia's attacks. As the clashing of steel echo through the air with naruto's body beginning to emanate his whitish-blue aura. Its radiant energy rippling around him like a veil of light as sofia's eyes widen in amusement but a wicked grin plays across her lips.

"Well.. Well.. It seems our mysterious opponent is an Aura User" sofia purrs, her eyes gleaming with newfound interest. Mitsurugi's gaze narrows as he studies naruto's glowing form and his emerald eyes flickering with a hint of greed, "Indeed.. A body like that could prove quite useful for Master Angron's plans" he muses, his voice laced with a sinister undertone. Naruto remains silent and his jaw clenches as he channels the aura's power to reinforce his sword. Sofia launches herself forward, her longsword becoming a blur of steel as she moves with blinding speed. Naruto parries her strikes with the force of each impact reverberating through through the air. Mitsurugi's hands dance through the air like orchestra conductor, conjuring volleys of razor-sharp blades that streak towards naruto. He twists and weaves with lightning reflexes, narrowly avoiding the projectiles as they sail pass him but one cuts his cheek while crimson droplets fall down his face.

"Yes.. Give me more!" sofia shouts, her laughter ringing in a wild and unrestrained manner while she presses her assault. Her movements were fluid, each strike flowing seamlessly into the next, leaving naruto with scarcely a moment to catch his breath. Naruto's eyes widen as he notices a disturbing change in sofia's appearance. Her skin has taken on a crimson hue as if flushed with an unhealthy heat. Yet her attacks show no signs of faltering, her movements growing more erratic and vicious by the second. Naruto redoubles his efforts and his longsword weaving intricate patterns as he deflects sofia's relentless barrage. Each collision of their blades sends sparks flying, illuminating the battlefield with flashes of blinding light and the force cutting gashes in the ground. Mitsurugi's blades continue to streak through the air and forces naruto to divide his attention between the twins' coordinated assault. He twists and pivots as he narrowly evades the projectiles while sofia's lips twist into a feral grin.

"You cannot withstand our combined might forever.. You may be an Aura User but it is not unlimited" sofia taunts, her voice raw and guttural. Naruto remains silent but as the battle rages on does sofia's skin take a deeper crimson hue, her veins seeming to throb beneath the surface. Naruto's eyes narrow as his instincts telling him that something is amiss, something far more sinister than mere physical exertion. Sofia unleashes a flurry of strikes with savage roar as her longsword pushes naruto back with each step or closing in as he breaks to put some distance between then. Naruto pivots or twists as his movements becoming more fluid while he channels the aura's power, his senses heighten and his reflexes sharpen.

"Argh!" naruto hisses as sofia's longsword finds its mark, slicing through defenses in a blur of motion and cutting a deep gash across his chest. He leaps back as his free left instinctively presses against the wound but dodges mitsurugi's blades.

"Sanjuroku Pound Ho!" naruto bellows, lashing his longsword forward in a downward swing. The compressed wave of aura erupts and surges towards sofia with devastating force. The cultist's eyes widen as she deftly maneuvers out of the path of the attack, the ground erupting in her wake as the wave of energy slashes through the earth. Sofia's lips curve into a predatory grin as she licks the crimson droplets of naruto's blood from her blade, savoring the metallic tang on her tongue. Her golden eyes burn with a manic gleam, alight with a twisted desire that sends shivers down naruto's spine.

"Impressive... If you weren't my enemy.. I'd take you into my bed and break you until you begged for mercy" sofia purrs, her voice raw and guttural but laced with a primal hunger that threatens to consume her very being. Sofia's words drip with dark promise as her lithe form sways with a serpentine grace while she prepares to advance towards naruto. The crimson hue that envelopes her skin deepens more with the white of her eyes beginning to bleed black as if an unholy force has taken root within her, fueling her movements with a preternatural strength and ferocity.

"It seems Sofia need Eldritch Essence against this Stranger" mitsurugi muses, his fingers flexing as he conjures another volley of blades. The projectiles streaks towards naruto as it forces him to twist, block, parry or weave through their deadly paths. Sofia lunges forward as she rains down a flurry of strikes upon naruto, the air crackling with their power, each collision of their blades sending shockwaves rippling through the ground. Steel clashes against steel as naruto deflects one of mitsurugi's blades but in a blur of movement. The cultist materializes before him and a searing pain lances through naruto's right leg as mitsurugi's blade pierces through flesh and muscle. Mitsurugi launches back and fires several more blades that pierce naruto's left shoulder, cuts his left thigh and left cheek.

"You're mine!" sofia shouts, lunging at naruto. Her longsword glows with an eerie crimson light, "Eya Crepitus!" sofia howls with her eyes alight with malice and swinging her sword in a vicious downward arc. Naruto's eyes widen as the moment he blocks, her attack detonates in a violent explosion that tears through his defenses, tearing through his coat given to him by the people of rimedrift but also the concussive force rattles his bones and searing his flesh. He is flung backwards while tendrils of smoke rise from the scorched fabric and the acrid scent filling his nostrils. The air is driven from his lungs as he slams into the ground with a sickening thud, his body bouncing twice before skidding to a halt on his side. Agony lances through him, his vision blurring as he fight against the waves of nausea threatening to overwhelm him. Sofia's cruel laughter rings out and echoes across the battlefield as she rests her longsword on her shoulder, her eyes alight with sadistic glee and her smile wide.

"Is that all you've got?!" sofia taunts, her voice dripping with disdain. Naruto grits his teeth while pushing himself up into a sitting position with trembling arms. A searing pain shoots through his body, his muscles screaming in protest from the strain of the battle. Crimson droplets trickle down his skin, seeping from the various wounds that marred his flesh. Each labored breath sends shockwaves of agony coursing through his ribs and he could taste the metallic tang of blood on his lips.

"You're nothing but a fool.. Did you really think you could stand against the might of the Diablos?!" sofia sneers, her lips twisting into a mocking smile. Naruto's vision blurs as he struggles to get to his feet, the world around him spinning in a haze of pain and confusion. His fingers dig into the earth, gripping the soil as he fights to push himself upward while gungir lays a few feet away. His piercing blue eyes lock onto the twins through the veil of crimson that stains his vision. Mitsurugi's fingers dance through the air, conjuring a volley of blades that streak towards naruto with lethal precision. Naruto's eyes widen and he instinctively grabs his dagger, deflecting the first few projectiles with a desperate parry.

"Dance puppet!.. Dance for our amusement!" sofia taunts with her eyes alight with sadistic glee, as naruto tries to defend himself but the blades were relentless. A searing pain lances through naruto's body as the blades tear into his flesh, opening deep gashes across his torso and limbs. Naruto cries out in agony, his grip on his dagger faltering as he tumbles back to the ground.

"Pathetic" sofia sneers, her lips curving into a cruel smile as she raises her blade to uses another eya crepitus. Naruto's chest heaves with labored breaths as his body is battered and bloodied, feeling the warmth of his own crimson essence seeping from the countless wounds that marred his skin. Time seems to slow but a deafening roar echoes across the clearing. Sofia and mitsurugi look up with their eyes widening in disbelief as a majestic white dragon descends from the heavens. The dragon's scales glistening like pearls in the sun's rays. Its wings unfurled, casting a vast shadow over the clearing as it lands with a thunderous thud and shielding naruto. The beast's eyes burn with a primal fury as it fixes its gaze upon the twins, its jaws parting to reveal razor-sharp fangs. A low but rumbling growl vibrates through the air, a clear warning to the cultists who dare to challenge its might.

"What is this?!" sofia hisses, her face contorted into a mask of rage and fear. Mitsurugi's emerald eyes widen with his usual cocksure demeanor replaced by a rare glimpse of trepidation, "Sister.. We cannot to prevail against such a beast.. Even with Eldritch Essence" he hisses, his voice low and urgent.

"We are the elite warriors of the Diablos cult.. We fear no creature.. No matter how formidable" sofia spits, her lips curling into a snarl and her eyes eyes burning with defiance.

"Enough Sofia!.. Our mission was to scout the caravan.. Not engage in foolish battles against forces we cannot hope to comprehend" mitsurugi snaps, his gaze flickering between the dragon and his sister. The dragon's gaze is fixed upon the twins, its piercing eyes seemingly boring into their very souls.

"We should retreat.. Regroup with Ser Canmore's forces and plan our next move" mitsurugi says, his jaw clenched. Sofia hisses in anger with her knuckles whitening as she grips her brother's weapon. For a moment, it seems as though she might defy her brother's counsel and launch herself at the dragon in a reckless display of bravado. Her gaze falls upon naruto's bloodied form and a cruel smile twisted her features, "Very well... But this is not over Stranger!.. I want to face you again but when you're at your full strength.. Only then will I savor the taste of your defeat" sofia concedes, her voice laced with venom and points her blade at naruto with a promise of retribution. She turns and strides away as mitsurugi shoots one last wary glance at the dragon before following his sister, his emerald eyes flickering with a mix of fear and reluctant respect. [song ends]

The beast's piercing gaze follows the twins until they disappears from sight, its heavy breaths being visible but then slowly, turns its attention toward naruto's battered form. The dragon lowers its head and nudges naruto gently, its eyes burning with a primal intelligence. A soft glow begins to emanate from its scales and bathing naruto in a warm but soothing light. The dragon's form begins to shift and contorts, its massive frame shrinking and taking on a new shape entirely. Within moments there is a breathtakingly beautiful young woman standing before naruto, her silver tresses cascading down her back like a shimmering waterfall and a long braid hangs from her right. Her piercing blue eyes hold an ethereal quality, as if they contain the vastness of the cosmos itself. Three gemstones adorn her flawless brow, glimmering like stars against her alabaster skin.

"You are he" the dragon thought, her flowing white gown seemingly shimmers with an otherworldly radiance. Its delicate fabric accentuated by intricate trimmings of gold and azure blue. The gown hugs her lithe form, its folds and drapes moving with a graceful fluidity that defied the laws of gravity. The dragon kneels beside naruto, her delicate features etched with concern as she studies his wounds.

"You made your move finally.. Young one" a voice resounds on edge but remaining calm. The young dragon looks up to see two figures standing a dozen feet from her, one is beautiful young woman with wavy waist-length blue hair tied up in a ponytail, with red reptilian eyes. She is dressed in a dark blue long sleeve shirt and matching cargo pants with a fitted green flak vest, a red scarf around her neck and combat boots, a katana is secured to her back. The second is a stunning woman with sleek black hair, intense yellow eyes highlighted by a red headband knot in bloom, black lace gloves, and wearing a black and red yukata, white breeches and horse riding boots.

"I saved him Muteki Shin-sama" the dragon says, lowering head respectfully and her melodic voice carrying a gentle cadence.

"I go by Tomoe now.. You have my thanks..." tomoe says, trailing off and not knowing the young dragon's name.

"I am Aurelia and He has been calling to me.. I could not ignore the connection that seems to bind us" the dragon named aurelia explains, her piercing blue eyes gazing upon naruto's battered form. Mio's eyes glisten with unshed tears as quickly moves to kneel beside naruto's battered form. Her delicate fingers tremble as she gently brushes aside the bloodied strands of hair that clings to his bruised cheek. The sight of her beloved naruto in such a state tears at her heart and she fight to maintain her composure, "Naruto.. Oh my love.. Who could have done did to you?!" mio whispers, her voice quivering with emotion. Her yellow eyes rove over the countless gashes and wounds that marred his flesh, each one a testament to the ferocity of the battle he has endured. Tears glisten in her eyes but she refuses to let them fall as she has to be strong for him. Tomoe surveys the clearing and her crimson eyes narrow as she takes in the sight of the fallen scouts' bodies scattered across the battlefield. The air is thick with the metallic scent of spilled blood, a grim reminder of the fierce clash that has unfolded.

"Those who dared to harm you.. They will pay dearly for their transgressions" mio vows, her yellow eyes burning with a fierce determination and unyielding rage.

"Two of them managed to escape.. Both were tainted by the foul magic" aurelia's melodic voice cut through the eerie silence. Mio's delicate features contort into a mask of fury and her golden eyes ablaze with anger, "Those vile Diablos cultists!.. How dare they inflict such grievous wounds upon my beloved" she hisses, her KI leaking from her body. Tomoe's crimson eyes narrows her turquoise tresses swaying as she places a hand on mio's shoulder, "Peace Mio.. Rage will not aid us.. Our concern should be Naruto and getting him to Isane" she cautions, her voice carrying a soothing undercurrent.

"I can help him" aurelia said softly, her piercing blue eyes fixed upon naruto's grievous wounds. Mio's eyes shimmer with a mixture of hope and trepidation, "How" she asks, her fingers instinctively tightening their grip on naruto's hand.

"I will merge with him.. Making him an artificial Dragonkin.. It is the only way to save him from the brink of death.. I do not believe he could survive a long journey" aurelia explains, her expression solemn as she meets mio's gaze. Mio's brow furrows as she digests aurelia's words as dragonkin were children of dragons and humans but an artificial dragonkin is a concept foreign to her.

"What will happen to him?!" mio asks, her voice laced with concern and apprehension.

"The process will be taxing.. He will slumber for three days as his body acclimates the transformation.. But once complete.. He will possess the strength and resilience of a dragon" aurelia admits, looking down at naruto's face.

"It is a risky endeavor.. But Aurelia speaks true" tomoe says, her crimson eyes burning with a fiery intensity. Mio's gaze falls upon naruto's pallid features and her heart aching at the sight of his suffering. Mio looks to aurelia with a resolute nod, "Do it.. Whatever it takes to save him" mio said, her voice unwavering. Aurelia inclines her head in acknowledgment, "Then it shall be done" she says with a gentle smile gracing her lips. She places her hands upon his chest and her fingers splayed over the grievous wounds that marred his flesh. A soft and ethereal glow begins to emanate from her palms, bathing naruto in a warm but soothing light. Mio watches with bated breath as aurelia's form begins to shift and contort, her body seemingly merging with naruto's. A radiant aura envelopes them both, pulsing and undulating like the waves of a celestial sea.

"Please work" mio thought, shielding her eyes and the brilliance nearly blinding. A profound silence descends upon the clearing, broken only by the steady thrum of energy that seems to resonate through the very earth. The radiant aura fades and leaving naruto lying motionless upon the ground with his wounds healed. The outline of a tattoo has etched itself onto naruto's back in the form of dragon wings and pulsing with a faint luminescence while a soft gasp escapes mio's lips. Aurelia emerges from the tattoo and retakes a corporeal form, yet her presence now seems inexplicably intertwined with naruto's.

"What... What has happened was she not sealed inside him" mio breathes out, her yellow eyes wide with wonder and trepidation.

"He's a Dragonkin now and his connection to Aurelia seems more akin to the Jinchuriki of his homeland" tomoe says, her crimson eyes appraising the situation with a critical gaze.

"Indeed.. Tomoe speaks true.. Unlike the Biju of the Eastern Continent.. I possess the ability to move freely from his body.. Existing as a separate entity while still sharing an unbreakable bond with him" aurelia says, her piercing blue eyes shimmering with understanding. Mio's eyes gaze upon naruto's unconscious form, "We should get him back to the caravan.. Isane will be worried and he needs proper care to recover from his injuries" she said, her voice trembling with urgency. Aurelia nods solemnly and her piercing blue eyes reflecting a deep understanding, "Of course" she murmurs, her form shimmering with a soft glow. Aurelia's essence begins to flow back towards naruto, merging seamlessly with his body. A soft whinny echoes through the air and liam trots towards them, his powerful hooves leaving imprints upon the earth. The majestic stallion lowers his head and nuzzling naruto's cheek with a tender affection that belies his stature.

"He'll be ok Liam" tomoe says, rubbing the horse's head. She then kneels beside naruto and carefully slips her arms beneath his battered form, lifting him with a surprising ease that defies her slender frame. Mio rises to her feet with her golden eyes fixed upon naruto's unconscious visage but goes to retrieve his longsword gungir. Mio cradles the sword close to her chest and follows tomoe back towards to the caravan.

The journey of the caravan from del-durne has been fraught with uncertainty but the determination of these weary travelers burns brightly, fueled by the hope of finding a safer haven in for helmund. The dense forest canopy gives way to an open expanse, the verdant greens of the towering pines yielding to a vast stretch of flatlands and hills in the distance. The townsfolk let out collective murmurs of relief as they emerge from the shadowed confines of the woods, their faces lifting to bask in the warm embrace of the afternoon sun.

"There.. Just beyond those hills lies Fort Helmund" brienne calls out, her voice carrying a rare note of reassurance. A ripple of hushed whispers spread through the caravan as the townsfolk's expressions brighten with a glimmer of hope that has been absent.

"Praise the Gods" a weathered farmer murmurs, his calloused hands clasped in silent prayer.

"But don't let your guard down Old Timer.. AuBerst's force is still following us" nazira cautions, her gruff voice cutting through the murmurs like a blade. Isane sits in the back of a creaking wagon, while her lithe form shields naruto from the glare of the afternoon sun. His golden hair is matted with sweat and grime, his tanned features pallid and drawn with the toll of his injuries. Ghost acts as naruto's pillow while curling protectively around him and whining softly. Isane gently brushes the damp locks from naruto's brow as the wagon trundles over the uneven terrain, her delicate features etched with concern.

"Love.. You sacrificed so much to ensure our safety.. When we reach Fort Helmund.. We can properly tend to your wounds and restore your vigor" isane murmurs, her melodious voice thick with emotion. Ghost nuzzles naruto's limp hand and lets out another low whine of distress. The direwolf seems to sense the gravity of the situation, its piercing gaze fixed upon isane as if seeking reassurance.

"He'll be ok Ghost.. Naruto is strong" isane whispers, rubbing the direwolf's head. Her melodious voice hums a soft and soothing tune, a lullaby passed down from her great-grandmother, grandmother and mother. Cedric is astride his chestnut horse and gaze sweeping over the townsfolk, "They've endured much to reach this point" he declares, his voice ringing with conviction. They soon crest the first of the rolling hills, the outline of fort helmund comes into view, its imposing walls and sturdy battlements a beacon of hope against the backdrop of the setting sun.

"By the Gods.. We made it safely" an elderly woman breathes, her eyes wide with wonder. Her grandson clutches a tattered stuffed bear to his chest and tugs at her sleeve, "Will we be safe there Grandma" he asks, his voice tinged with a childlike innocence that tugs at the heartstrings of all who heard it. The woman's weathered features softens and she pulls the boy close to plant a tender kiss atop his brow, "Aye child.. Within those walls.. We shall find sanctuary" she murmurs, her voice thick with emotion. The caravan draws nearer to the imposing walls of fort helmund, before a voice rings out from the battlements, piercing the stillness of the afternoon air.

"Halt!.. Who goes there?!" a gruff voice demands, the sound echoing across the rolling hills. Brienne rides forward with her light armor gleaming in the sun's radiant glow, "I am Lady Brienne of Del-durne.. We seek refuge within these walls and I wish to speak with Ser Dondarrion Hollister" she calls out, her tone firm and unwavering. A tense silence hangs in the air, punctuated only by the shuffling of the weary townsfolk and the occasional whinny of the pack animals. From atop the battlements a figure emerges, his shock of white hair gleaming in the afternoon sun. He is clad in the garb of a seasoned knight, his light armor bearing the scars of countless battles. The sunlight catches the weathered lines of his face, etching them in sharp relief and lending him an air of grizzled experience.

"Brienne of Del-durne?!.. Are you Lord Barristan's daughter?!" the man repeats, his voice carrying a hint of recognition.

"Aye.. I am his only child" brienne replies with a nod. The man's weathered features soften ever so slightly, "Your father was a true knight.. Unwavering in his courage and honor.. He would be proud to see the woman you've become... Lower the gates and grant them entry!.. These good people seem to have endured enough hardship!" he shouts after a pause, his gaze sweeping over the caravan behind brienne. The massive iron-bound gates groan open at his command, revealing the fortified sanctuary of the fort. A collective sigh of relief ripples through the caravan as they behold the sturdy walls and well-guarded ramparts, a promise of safety after their harrowing journey.

"Take heart.. Within these walls.. We shall find respite and sanctuary from the terrors that have plagued our steps" brienne calls out, shifting in her saddle and looking to the townsfolk as her features softening ever so slightly. The townsfolk move forward with their expressions a mixture of awe and cautious hope. As the caravan pass through the imposing gates, finding themselves in a vast and bustling courtyard. Towering ramparts loom overhead, their weather-beaten stone etched with the scars of countless battles, while the ground beneath their feet bore the weight of a thousand marching boots.

"This way" a few declare, ushering the wagon to certain spots. Soldiers clad in the livery of fort patrol the battlements, their gazes ever vigilant for any sign of danger. The rhythmic clang of hammers on anvils echo through the courtyard as blacksmiths toil tirelessly to forge weapons and armor for the defenders. In the distance are the unmistakable whinnies of warhorses piercing the air, their powerful forms sheltered within the fortress's stables. The townsfolk del-durne were huddled together, their eyes wide with awe and trepidation as they take in the scene before them, for many this is the first time seeing fort helmund. Brienne's gaze sweeps across the courtyard and takes in every detail with a soldier's keen eye but sees ser dondarrion hollister to greet her.

"Welcome to Fort Helmund.. Ser... I mean Lady Brienne" dondarrion rumbles, his voice gruff but laced with a warmth that belied his imposing stature.

"We are grateful for your hospitality Ser Dondarrion" brienne replies, her voice carrying a solemn note and catching his slip. She dips her head in acknowledgment before continuing, "These townsfolk have indeed endured hardships in their flight.. Our home of Del-durne was attacked in the dead of night some days past.. Though we fought valiantly.. Repelling the initial assault but news of a larger force soon reached us and their numbers too great to withstand" brienne explains as dondarrion strokes his long white beard.

"We had no choice but to flee.. Abandoning our homes and what little possessions we could not carry.. The journey has been fraught with peril but we managed to reach here... These good people have suffered enough.. Within Fort Helmund.. I hope they can find respite.. If only for a fleeting moment" brienne adds, the haunting memories of that fateful night flickering across her features. Dondarrion's brow furrows and his grizzled features etched with concern, "Aye.. The tales of AuBerst's depravity have reached even these fortified walls.. But you have my word Lady Brienne.. That you and your people shall find safe haven here.. For as long as you require" he rumbles, his voice laced with a simmering anger.

"Good folks of Del-durne.. You have endured trials that would break lesser souls.. But within these walls.. You shall find sanctuary.. A place to rest and to heal" dondarrion adds, turning his gaze to the gathered townsfolks and raising his voice to carry across the bustling courtyard. A murmur of relief ripples through the townsfolks and they begin to disperse, guided by dondarrion's men to the quarters that will be set aside for their use. Brienne draws dondarrion aside with her expression grave, "There is a matter of urgency we must attend to" she murmurs, her voice low and laced with concern. Dondarrion's brow furrows and his grizzled features were etched with a mixture of curiosity but also apprehension, "Speak plainly Lady Brienne" he rumbles, his tone betraying a hint of impatience.

"One of our protectors lies grievously wounded" brienne starts and gestures towards one of the off to the side wagons, "He fought two powerful members of the army sent with AuBerst's scouts.. Buying us precious time to reach the safety of these walls" she adds, her jaw tight. Dondarrion's eyes widen as his weathered features registering a mixture of shock and grudging respect, "By the Gods.. Who could possess such valor and skill" he mutters, his calloused fingers clenching into a fist. A flicker of emotion passes across brienne's impassive countenance, "Ser Naruto Uzumaki.. The White Wolf" she replies, her voice taking on a solemn note. Dondarrion's brow furrows as he contemplates brienne's words, "Then we must ensure he receives the finest care our fortresses can provide" he declares, his gruff voice carrying a note of conviction.

"You have my gratitude Ser Dondarrion.. Ser Naruto's bravery has spared many lives and I would be remiss not to repay that debt" brienne says, dipping her head in acknowledgment. Dondarrion calls for two of his men with a stretcher as he approaches the wagon with his eyes shifting to isane, tomoe and mio, their concern for naruto very evident.

"Fear not Miladies.. Within these walls.. Your companion shall receive the finest care we can provide" dondarrion rumbles, his gruff voice softening as he addresses the three women. Isane dips her head in a graceful gesture of gratitude, "You have our deepest thanks Ser Dondarrion" she replies, her melodious voice thick with emotion. Two burly men-at-arms approach the wagon and their faces are etched with grim determination. One of them is a grizzled veteran with a thick mustache and gestures towards naruto's unconscious form, "Careful now lads" he grunts, his voice gruff but laced with a hint of concern. Tomoe lifts naruto from the wagon and cradling her love's battered form with utmost care. His golden hair is matted with sweat and grime, his tanned features pale and drawn with the toll of his injuries, while gently transferring him onto the stretcher. Ghost leaps out the wagon and lets out a low whine as he nuzzles naruto's limp hand.

"It's ok Ghost.. Naruto will be ok" isane murmurs, her melodious voice soothing as she strokes ghost's fur and he gazes up at her with eyes brimming with concern. Ghost nuzzles naruto's face with his warm tongue lapping at the young man's pallid cheek. Tia watches the men-at-arms carefully lift the stretcher with her aqua green eyes shimmer in concern for naruto's battered form. A pang of feelings tighten her chest as she owes naruto a life debt while ceras stands off the side with regret in her eyes, having brought naruto and group into this. The men-at-arms gently carry naruto's stretcher to the infirmary while isane trails closely behind, her delicate features etched with concern. Ghost pads alongside her and the direwolf's eyes are trained intently on naruto's motionless form.

"We'll lay him here" the second man-at-arms says, a young soldier with rugged features. They transfer naruto to a sturdy mattress as isane takes a seat next to the cot and ghost on the right side. Outside is cedric, nazira and tia tend to their steeds in the stable, their movements brisk and efficient.

"Blondie sometime has more courage than sense" nazira grumbles, her gruff voice carrying a hint of grudging respect. She runs a calloused hand over the coarse fur of naruto's horse liam while tia remains silent as she groom isane's horse moondancer. Ceras, tomoe and mio at the same time make their way towards the command center, their expressions grave and a goal in mind.

"Ser Dondarrion must be fully appraised of the situation" ceras says, her voice laced with urgency.

"Indeed.. We cannot afford to underestimate the threat that followed us" tomoe comments, her thoughts lingering back with naruto. They find dondarrion already speaking with brienne as their gaze sweeps over the bustling scene of activity.

"The AuBerst force could a Thousand strong" brienne said, her voice low but carrying an edge of urgency as the others arrive. Dondarrion's weathered features tighten as he processes brienne's words, "A thousand strong?!.. Then we must prepare for the worst" he rumbled, his gruff voice laced with a mixture of concern and determination.

"Ser Dondarrion" ceras says, getting his and brienne's attention.

"The mighty Titania herself.. You're exploits even reach my old ears" dondarrion said, a hint of sardonic humor lacing his gruff voice.

"As Lady Brienne said.. The threat looms nearer than we anticipated.. AuBerst's force could be upon us within hours or at best by the morrow's first light" ceras says, her arms folded and a serious expression on her face. Dondarrion's expression hardens and his weathered features are etched with grim determination, "Then we must make haste to prepare... Double the watches and reinforce the outer defenses!.. We will not allow AuBerst's filth breach these wall" he rumbles, his gruff voice carrying across the bustling command center.

"I want every able-bodied warrior on the battlements and the civilians secured in the caves beneath the fortress!" dondarrion adds, turning to his lieutenants. As the command center erupts into a flurry of activity with ceras turning to dondarrion, "Lady Brienne informed us along the way that you have a sizable force at your disposal" she said, her voice cutting through the din.

"Aye.. We have fifty skilled archers.. Their aim true and their bowstrings taut.. Fifty cavalrymen.. Seasoned warriors atop their mighty destriers.. Their lances at the ready.. And a hundred infantry.. Hardened by battles and loyal to the last" dondarrion replies with a nod.

"A formidable force but AuBerst's force easily dwarf even the defenders here" ceras says, her brow furrowing as she weighed their odds. Tomoe steps forward with her lithe movements betraying a fluid grace that belies her lethality, "Then we must make every warrior count.. AuBerst's forces may outnumber us but you have powerful warriors at your disposal" she said, her voice low but carrying an undercurrent of steel.

シーンブレイク

Naruto finds himself adrift and suspended on a boundless ocean that stretches as far as the eye could see. The darkness envelopes him, broken only by the faint glimmer of starlight that dances across the gentle waves. Naruto slowly sits up with his brow furrowed in confusion as he surveys his unfamiliar surroundings. The inky waters lap at his bare skin and their cool embrace is a stark contrast to the searing pain that engulfed him mere moments ago.

"Where am I" naruto murmurs, his voice seeming to echo across the endless expanse. A soft but melodic chuckle resonates from all around him and its gentle cadence carries a hint of amusement, "You are within the realm of your own consciousness Ruto" a melodic voice replies. Naruto's eyes widen as aurelia's form materializes before him and her radiant beauty casting a soft glow upon the dark waters. She kneels gracefully, her piercing blue eyes fixed upon him with a maternal warmth.

"Who are you.. What happened?!.. The last thing I remember is battling those cultists and then..." naruto breathes out, his confusion giving way to relief.

"I am Aurelia... You were gravely wounded.. Had I not intervened.. You would have succumbed to your injuries" aurelia interjects, her melodic voice tinged with sorrow. Naruto's brow furrows as he processes her words, "But... How?!" he asks, his piercing blue eyes searching aurelia's face for answers.

"I have merged with you Ruto.. Our essences are now intertwined.. Granting you the strength and resilience of a dragonkin similar to Ceras Bulga" aurelia says with her expression softening, her lips curving into a gentle smile. Naruto's eyes widen in disbelief as he studies his surroundings with newfound clarity. The inky waters that laps at his skin seems to ripple with an otherworldly energy, their gentle currents imbued with a primal power that resonates deep within his very being.

"So... This is my mindscape" naruto muses, his gaze sweeping across the boundless expanse and aurelia nods as her silver tresses sway with the movement.

"Those cultists.. Sofia and Mitsurugi.. They fought with such savagery and such unbridled violence" naruto says, his jaw clenching. Flashes of his battle against the twin cultists surge through his mind, the searing pain of sofia's eya crepitus or mitsurugi's blade piercing his body, it all coming rushing back in vivid detail. Aurelia's expression hardens and her eyes reflecting the endless depths of her wisdom, "Indeed they did Ruto..." she acknowledges, her melodic voice resonating through the ethereal realm.

"Show me how to wield these new abilities" naruto says, his voice tinged with urgency and his piercing blue eyes burning with a newfound determination. A warm smile graces aurelia's features as rises and extends her delicate hand towards naruto, "Of course Ruto.. Together we shall unlock the depths of your potential and you shall become a force to be reckoned with" she murmurs, her melodic voice resonating through the ethereal realm. Naruto's eyes widen slightly, his gaze fixated on aurelia's outstretched hand and without hesitation, reaching out to grasp it firmly and allowing her to pull him to his feet. The inky waters ripple around them, responding to the surge of energy emanating from their intertwined essences.

"I'm going to teach you how to use Magic like your Jutsu" aurelia said, her melodic voice echoing through the ethereal realm. Naruto nods and his expression one of determination, "I learned some magic from Isane.. Instead of using jutsu.. You channel your chakra into spells" he said, recalling the lessons he received from loving isane.

"Indeed Ruto.. The principles are similar but the execution is bit different.. With our essences intertwined.. You now have access to a wellspring of power that goes beyond the limitations of conventional chakra manipulation" aurelia affirms, her radiant beauty casting a warm glow upon the inky waters. Naruto's brow furrows as he considers her words and his fingers absentmindedly trace the intricate patterns that now adorn his tanned flesh, "Then show me Aurelia" he urges, his piercing blue eyes locking with aurelia's.
