Embry's POV
Charlie had been at home all night by herself and part of me was getting really antsy about everything around Sam's. I had gone for 3 runs on Emily's insistence because apparently my pacing the kitchen while she attempted to make breakfast was actually annoying. I had basically just growled at her. I knew I was going to have to tell Charlie that we were coming to Sam's for lunch, and we would possibly be late getting back to school.
Sam came into the living room sitting down on the couch beside me. "Have you texted Charlie yet about not bringing a lunch today?"
I shook my head. "Not yet. Are we going to need to contact our gym teacher that we might be late getting back to school?"
Sam shook his head. "I already called the school and said you 4 were being excused from class today due to a matter we had to deal with here."
I nodded pulling out my phone. It was late enough that Charlie would be awake but early enough she would probably be having a shower or still getting ready for school in some way.
Hey so don't pack a lunch. We are going to Sam's place for it. We heard back from Carm. I sent to her with a hope she was awake.
I got an immediate response. Anything good in the reply?
I laughed if those two ever did meet they would be a great pair. Not really, she basically said she had to talk to someone and to call her at lunch unless Paul hears from her before that.
Sam smiled at me. "Can you ask her to tell Ryan something for me?" When I nodded, he continued. "Just that we are looking into that thing, and we should have some answers for him tomorrow."
Can you tell Ryan that Sam will have an answer for him tomorrow afternoon. I pressed send after showing him the message and getting a nod in return.
She responded to me a second later. Is this person and Jake related? Oh, make sure he is drinking a lot of water, and he goes to the bathroom before Sam makes the call.
I scratched my head they must have talked yesterday during class but didn't say anything about it. "How long are you expecting this car to be?"
He shrugged. "To be truthful with you it is all going to depend on what Carm has been able to find. Is there anything you know?"
I gulped. "That cat symbol I have seen before."
He stared at me. "Where?"
"On a journal her father asked me to give to her the day before she turned 18. But I only have the book I don't have the key to it. He left me a note. The journal is hidden in my bedroom at home it is completely safe."
He stood up and started pacing the living room. When Emily walked into the room. "Kim has gotten her breakfast if you want to grab the others from outside and you two want to come." She said before looking at Sam.
I waved my hand to her. "Don't worry about him. He just found out something that is really bad news I think." I walked over to Sam putting my hand on his shoulder.
He huffed at me. "Go get breakfast. But this conversation isn't over." He told me.
I walked out into the general loudness of the dining room. Before my phone went off, I pulled it out to look at it only to have it taken from my hands.
Paul laughed as he looked at the text I had received from Charlie. He went to unlock my phone to respond to her but was unable to. Before turning to Quil. "What is Embry's phone password?"
Quil laughed. "Why?"
"Charlie texted him and I want to reply to it, but I can't even see the message without typing in the password."
I laughed stealing my phone back. "Thank you for that." I opened my phone knowing that he was looking over my shoulder.
I told him. All he said was okay he would be in touch after work. Also find out if Jake talked to Edward about the other thing, please. He hasn't answered his phone.
I looked over at Jake. "What were you supposed to talk to Edward about?"
Jake nodded. "We can discuss that later; it has to do with the courthouse. But tell Charlie Edward said yes, he could do us that favour."
I glared at him. "Your father-in-law is doing us a favour, but you won't tell me what it is and somehow it involves my imprint."
Sam came into the dining room; he looked at all of us. "Quil, Embry, Paul, Jared, and Jake. All of you are taking the full afternoon off." He turned to me. "Charlie is joining for the afternoon so let her know."
I nodded to him. "I'll let her know at school." I looked down at my phone. I told him. Edward apparently said he would help. I want to know what it is about. Then I pushed send and locked my phone again.
When we finished and I had grabbed a treat for Charlie to have between classes. And we were off to school. During our first-class Charlie was really quiet but as we walked to functions, she ate a muffin and drank her yogurt drink. But when we were given 8 worksheets in functions and the teacher explained they were for the next two days instead of us having class tomorrow.
We went and hung out in Birkoff's class and continued working on our project. By the time class had started for that one we were very far into our project.
As we were walking to her locker after that I finally stopped her. "What is going on? What do we need Edward for?"
She sighed. "Okay so that new counsellor showed up the same day as the box in the courthouse went missing. She cornered me the other day and still wants a better introduction. I was hoping that if we could get her outside. You could be standing right with me. I was going to ask her about the box and no matter what she said I was going to ask Edward to find out what she was thinking about." I mean the only thing that doesn't add up is that it was apparently a man who came to pick it up but who knows what vampires are capable of.
I nodded. "What does Sam think about this idea?"
She shrugged. "I haven't run it by him yet. I think Jake might have." She shrugged walking for the door leading outside, without her bag.
I laughed at her. "Oh, I forgot to mention we aren't coming back this afternoon at all for class. Sam wanted to talk to us about another thing. I kind of told him about the journal and he seemed pretty pissed about it this morning."
Charlie smiled grabbing my hand. "Should we go to your place to get it?"
I nodded running to catch up with Jake. "Jake, any chance you can drive me home before we head for Sam's?" Jake nodded, giving me a strange look. "Charlie suggested something, and I think it is a good idea. I just want Sam to wait the call for us."
Jake smiled waving his phone. "I'll call him." He plugged his phone in as we pulled out of the parking lot. "Call Sam." He told the car.
'Jake you on your way?'
"Kind of. We are making a quick stop by Embry's house. Apparently, Charlie had suggested something, but it is at his place."
'Is Charlie with you?'
"Yes, I am here, Sam. Embry has gone to get the journal so you can see it."
'Okay that will be good. Get here as soon as you can. I'll wait to call Carm until you make it.'
"Okay, Embry is just back we will be there in a few minutes."
Then he hung up the phone. Then continued making our way over to Embry's place. When we got there Embry went in and was back out in a few minutes. He looked at the box that Embry had on his lap.
"I thought it was only the journal?"
I shrugged. "That is all your dad said it was. I honestly have never looked in the box since he gave it to me. All he said was that it was the journal but there was a lock on it. He never mentioned the key at all though."
Charlie nodded. "Well maybe this friend of Carm's will be able to help us."
(Author's note: For the call which will be starting very soon after this note. We are going to do it from no one's point of view as there will be a lot of talking. It will be in Phone call POV.)
We landed at Sam's very quickly. I pulled out my phone and pressed record on it as we walked into the house. Charlie glared at me as we walked into the kitchen.
"Emily, do we have lunch yet. I'm starving."
Paul started immediately laughing. "Charlie, you just had snack between first and second period."
She turned around ang glared back at him. "So. That was so long ago." She walked over to the fridge and grabbed the grapes that Emily usually sitting in there for her.
Emily walked into the kitchen/dining room. "Okay, lunch is almost ready. So why don't you all go sit in the living room while you make the call, I'll bring it into there for you." She looked at Charlie. "And Charlie those grapes can go back into the fridge, you are going to want them this weekend for movie night."
Charlie pouted but put the grapes back after taking another handful.
Sam had moved the chairs and couches, so they all surrounded the one side table which he had moved into the middle of the room. His cellphone was sitting on the table plugged into the charger.
Sam took a seat as we all did. I pulled Charlie over to the chair with me so she was sitting on my lap so we could snuggle together. The box I put on the floor beside the chair.
Phone call POV
Sam – (dialed the phone and waited as it rung 3 times).
Paul: Carm, long time no hear. How are things?
Carm: Give … me … one… second…
Sam: Sure, let us know when you can talk.
Carm: Okay. All good now. Leo, I'm going to need your help here for a minute.
Paul: Who is Leo?
Carm: For lack of a better term. He is one of two wereleopards we have living here in Volterra with us and possibly the one who can answer the questions.
Sam: Okay what can either of you tell us about the image.
Leo: That is the symbol given to the cursed line of cats. Though it looks a little bit off, almost like the two lines have combined again.
Charlie: Carm can you explain that?
Carm: Who is that?
Embry: That was Charlie, Carm. She is my imprint and someone we think very much might be connected to this symbol.
Carm: How connected? Charlie, can you feel or see a kitty when you shut your eyes?
Charlie: Yes, I can see a kitten. It is really playful. But I have a few other abilities that appeared after the people who were acting like my parents were killed.
Leo: Charlie. There should have been something with your real parents. A journal of kind there would be a lock on it that only you can open. Though there might be a box as well.
Sam: There was a box in the courthouse. But it has gone missing, is there anyway you can track it down for us?
Leo: I have a way we might be able to track it, if I know which one we are trying to find. Is there anyway you can get me a picture of the journal and the box?
Paul: I can send Carm a picture of the journal but the box as we said was taken.
Charlie: If you don't mind a hand drawing, I am pretty sure I can draw it for you. That symbol was on the front of it, but it was ever so slightly different.
Leo: a hand drawing is fine.
Charlie: Okay give me a day or two and I will try and find time to get it done.
Carm: Charlie, your world is about to change. If you are starting to already see the powers from the bloodline. Embry is your best way to try and control it. Though I am curious which ones you have seen so far.
Charlie: I can start fire by thinking about something really hard if I get mad enough. Then there is this thing that I can call others I know really well around me to me. Like the other day we needed everyone to the school, I used the kitten to get everyone to the school.
Carm: That situation in the main hall earlier today between Garrett and Xavier and Sean.
Sam: Sean? Sean who?
Carm: That is a really long story, but his human name was Sean Pierce. We are trying to find a few people who were from his human life, but so far we have come up empty.
Sam's POV
I grabbed the phone and took it off of speaker. "You lot eat then start working on your schoolwork, and yes Charlie before you ask, you can go to your place with Embry and work on stuff, but I want to see homework done."
I walked outside making sure they were all still in the living room. "Carm, I think I know who you might be looking for."
I could hear her gasp on the phone before she responded. "Give me some names and I'll run them by him. If they are the ones we are looking for I'm going to need you to keep them safe."
I took a seat on the chairs. "Nikita and Michael Mears, Ryan Fletcher, and Birkoff. I can't remember his first name, but he goes by that."
Carm must have sunk against something. "I think we might have found some of the people we have been looking for. We might only need to send a group after the bleep in Australia."
I thought for a second. "What about Australia?"
Carm must have been talking to someone else. "You know about Australia? We think Charlie might have a sibling down there."
I didn't know quite what to say. "A little while ago. Like earlier this week as in over the weekend. Charlie was spending the nights here. Something happened with Alex, one of the people who is looking after her, their friend did something Embry got super overprotective. Anyway, she woke me with a nightmare through the night, Embry did get her calmed down, but she was yelling about New Zealand and the Shire being locked somewhere that hobbits lived."
When someone else came onto the phone I pulled it back from my ear slightly. "Had she been watching one of those movies?"
"Not that I know of, I mean her and Embry have been watching harry potter lately. And who is this?"
"Chaos, we can send some people to hunt down there. See if she can pull on the connection at all to try and narrow it down more. The shire is a bit plot of land to cover and if we are dealing with the entire part of middle earth it is going to be harder."
I gulped. "I haven't told Embry I heard it. Carm, we have to come up with another way."
She huffed on the phone for a second. Just the thought of it had me picturing her in my mind. "I can see what we can do but I don't see any other way really. Maybe pull a wolf trick and say you seen it when he was patrolling with you or something like that?"
I laughed at that. "He hasn't patrolled since that night really. But I'll see what I can come up with though lately when he has been patrolling, he doesn't really think of her."
Carm laughed for a second. "Oh okay. Well, then do me a favour. Grab Quil and Jake for me. I know they were there for the call. I have an idea."
I walked into the house and just yelled for Quil and Jake to come outside. When the got there, we walked back to the chairs, and I put the phone back on speaker. "Okay you have all three of us."
"Okay guys. I have an idea, but it is going to need a bit of help. Jake, how is everything going with Nessie? I mean I have been dying to come for a visit to see her."
Jake just looked at the phone. "Everything is almost going fine. I mean she has been having nightmares that are horrible especially for me when we sleep together."
I could hear Carm laughing though I knew it wasn't about Jake. "Okay so here is the deal. Apparently, Charlie had a nightmare the other night when she and Embry slept together at Sam's place. I need you guys to find out what it was about like exactly what she seen in the nightmare. From what I have heard about the curse it might be the two parts trying to find each other."
I stepped in for a second. "Would Charlie going looking be a bad thing?"
"How did you come to have Charlie where she is?" the man, Chaos asked.
Jake looked at me for a second before answering. "Long story involving our fathers and Charlie's adopted father. A burnt cabin and a lot of mysteries."
"Burning, Carm it fits. Everything fits. And now Alex possibly the one that we have been looking for, the one that has tied Sean's humanity to the world and the wereleopard are all together. The only thing missing is the wolf and if they have him, they could be using something to use the same dreams he is having about her to try and find her."
"Chaos, I know. This isn't the best idea but if she is the stronger one why wouldn't they have taken her instead."
"You know the tales. The female is always the one who dies except for the prophesied pair. This could be the one we have been waiting for."
I stopped them talking, shooing both Quil and Jake back inside. Though Jake wanted to stay and talk to them I needed to get to the bottom of this. "Okay. So, what exactly does this mean?"
"We don't exactly know. I'll chat to Sean see if they are his friends. You have any issue coming up with a strange reason for keeping them around for a bit, specifically Alex?"
I shook my head. "No. I mean other than the fact that Paul, Jared and Embry all hate her guts. I will have to deal with those three so maybe you could fire off your old imprint a few be nice messages to Alex because I don't have any real authority if you want me to force her to stay. I can go to Ryan and let him know we need them to stick around."
"Ryan Fletcher why does that name sound familiar? I could have sworn I have heard it since we have been back here. Maybe Alec mentioned it. Oh F* Sam I can't remember. Been too long without any real sleep. Try to keep it away from any government agencies, they will have their eyes open on them for this symbol."
I had a seat. "That might be hard. Ryan works for the CIA as an analyst. Though I know he was out of work for a while and just went back a few days a week. Someone sent him this image and asked him to look into it. Owen, I think sent it to him. He happens to be Alex's bodyguard."
Her attention was away from the phone again. "Go find Cole, have him find Sean. And not leave his side until I say so. Clear it with Havok if you must."
"Cole took Sean to see Benjamin. I figured getting him out of the wing was the best plan for the night, I mean at least until Xavier calms down."
She breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay sounds good then." Before turning her attention back to the phone which was probably still in her hand. "Okay Sam. So do what you can. I'll send Paul a be nice message tomorrow about the same time as this call came through. Until then I'll have someone here take a look into Ryan Fletcher. If he is one of Sean's old friends and he does work for the CIA he might actually be useful into telling us a few things. Also see if you can get to this Owen guy"
I stopped her there. "Any questions you want to be asked to Owen send to Paul. He is having a chat with him tomorrow night. Bit of a funny story." I thought for a second. "Find out if the name Taylor Scotts comes up in your records. She is a vampire; semi old I'd say. Started as a school counsellor yesterday at the school on the reservation. Seemed to have a very keen interest into Charlie, though Charlie only said that the kitten didn't react well when she got cornered."
"I'll run it through tomorrow and hit you back on this number if I find anything. You wolves be willing to take care of her for us if we need you to?"
"That is our job, isn't it?"
She laughed for a second. "I'm going to go get some sleep. Have a good evening or day or whatever it is there Sam."
And with that she hung up not even letting me say goodbye to her. Though she did sound really tired on the phone and when she was chatting with everyone.
(REWIND)
Cole's POV
When Chaos ran out of the room after Carm there was a strange feeling in the air. Malachi unfroze from the position he was in which had a great deal of the others laughing. It didn't take long before Xavier began walking towards Sean. Malachi only laughed at his brother, going up against one the three strongest vampires, or one of the three with the most power was never a wise move. But I did have to be careful because I wasn't completely sure what Havok had told Sean about what I could do. True my vampire gift allowed me to create, absorb and slightly control tornados, but that wasn't my only gift that I had.
I very silently sniffed the air around Sean. Out of the two animals the cat was the stronger one for sure, however my two teammates knew something about what was going on. Chaos and Carm were really close. During some of our nights we had talked about his true feelings towards her and if there was a way that maybe the two of them could ever settle down and just look after stuff here at the palace. I honestly thought Carm would be happy if she could stay in one place. Paul could come to visit, and she could take a more administrative role within the Legend.
When we got the call to return home Chaos had asked if Carm was going to be there. I really think he is getting up the nerve to ask her to finally do something about the insane amount of tension going on between the two of them. I mean when they are in the same room together and they aren't touching unless she is arguing with someone it is unbearable.
Xavier had managed to distract most of the others with some use of power before he continued walking towards Sean. He wouldn't get past me and his little tricks would not work on my brain. I smirked at him before shaking my head.
"He protected Garrett?" He snarled at me waving his hand in Sean's direction.
I huffed. "We all know you have issues with your old friend but that has nothing to do with Sean here. I suggest you go take the problem to him." Getting between the two, he hadn't challenged him yet, but if that happened I would be the one accepting it.
He glared at me disliking that he didn't have the status or the power to take me on. When he walked away from us going back over to the wall where he had been sitting early, I turned back focusing my attention on Sean.
The realization when my hand touched Sean as to what I actually was had him smiling at me. "You are like Leo."
I nodded, pulling him to his feet. "That I am, which is one of the reasons why Xavier won't be trying anything against me." When we got to the door of the room I turned back. "You can turn on a movie if you want but try to keep it down." He shook his head as we walked down the hall.
Sean stopped walking for a minute looking at me, it was that look of pity that I normally got when others realized what had happened to Garrett and Leo. When he opened his mouth, I shut it with my hand.
"I know what you are going to ask. It has been a question that everyone asks." I breathed out a sigh having a seat on the bench just inside the wing doors. "I was given a choice. I chose to live. It was long before Leo and slightly after Garrett. As to when the curse ends what is next for me, I don't know. But that look of pity isn't welcome."
He nodded and smiled. "Can I ask you about the cat half?"
I smiled tapping the bench beside me. "Ask away. Though I might only be able to answer general ones as I was one of the first cats who was part of the curse."
He took a seat thinking for a moment. "Okay, so what needs to happen for us to end this curse? And what will happen to me after it?"
I smiled grimly at him. "I don't want to get your hopes up. There is an extremely rare chance that the Volturi do actually succeed. Though on the rare chance I am actually wrong that is very dependant on several different factors. You could be set free to live your life. You could be free kind of but be made to check in with the leaders. Or on the chance that someone has seen your abilities and deemed that they are either too powerful or needed you could be forced to join the Volturi or Legend." I didn't like discussing this idea. "There are a lot of parts, you are merely one piece to a very big puzzle. And the spies that we have caught are working for a very powerful group."
He nodded and gulped. "I think I just want to get some sleep. Is there anyway you could take me to my room instead of going to see Benjamin?"
I nodded. "Of course. I know some said it would be too risky to take you back to the cave. But if I could get there is there anything you would want?"
He looked at me. "A change of clothes, in fact all the clothes specifically the pants and shirts. And the binder that is sitting on the desk."
I smiled, standing up. "I'll see what I can do. Might grab a few of the 4 that just came back and Leo and Garrett and go out to get it. Should be safe enough. Plus, it will do all three of us some good."
He looked down at his hands for a moment. "I couldn't go with you, could I?"
Frowning and shaking my head at him I placed my hands over his. "I'm sad to say it would probably be too dangerous. You haven't gotten you full skills yet. Don't worry though, before I leave, I will make sure that Havok knows that Xavier came after you again."
He just nodded a bit defeated.
I smiled at him. "Okay listen. Tomorrow after your lesson with everyone else I'll grab Leo and Rylin, and we will take you to the training dungeon and really teach you how to fight. So, if something like what happened earlier today happens again you aren't so helpless. Deal?"
He stopped me from walking. "Who is Rylin?"
I laughed. "Did Havok not give you a full rundown of who everyone is?" I shook my head. "I'm going to have to do something about that one of these days." I leaned against the wall of the hallway we were currently in. "Rylin was the quiet dark one almost looks like Chaos's twin. Though there is absolutely no relation. He was sitting beside Malachi. He is the enforcer and although he doesn't normally give fighting lessons, I can convince him to say yes."
Sean playfully glared at me. "How?"
I just shook my head. "You leave that matter to me. Don't worry it won't get either one of us into trouble at all with anyone that matters."
He shook his head. "You aren't filling me with a huge vote of confidence."
I just laughed. "Okay. Every other month Aro makes the legends take the two were-animals out for a hunting trip. Rylin is supposed to go on the next one but if I take both of them with me to go get your stuff they won't need a hunting trip."
Sean gritted his teeth and looked down. "He is forced to go with people who hate him. Xavier never has liked Garrett since he became what he is."
I looked at him, as my eyes bugged out of my head. "Xavier isn't allowed to leave the palace alone. That is why he didn't come to get you this morning. Carm or Marco have to be with him the entire time."
He sank to his knees on the ground holding his head. "So why is he being like that to me?"
I helped him stand walking the rest of the way to his room. "Xavier knows how hard it is on the vampire side of the curse. I think maybe the two of you really need to talk, though I understand your fear of him and what he can do. I just really think you both need to clear the air. Every time we have found one part of the curse; Xavier has been the leading force to find the other half. He has dragged Carm across the world since they found you looking for the moon child."
"Moon children. There are two apparently."
I nodded. "A cat like one and a wolf like one. Though by the sounds of it the wolf one has been causing you some pain today too."
He nodded. "My head is spinning."
I walked over to the fridge grabbing him a blood bag. "That will help some. If I need to grab Havok I can do that. Or technically the kitten can."
He looked at me. "I have done it twice. Once one night Benjamin and I were watching a movie in the cave together when my emotions got all tangled, then earlier today in the courtyard."
I nodded. "The kitten wanted an audience for when you thought you'd kick Xavier's butt?" I laughed for a second. "This is going to come as a surprise, but we can't always step in for you, we will try to but eventually and probably before everything Xavier is going to get you alone and you will have to fight him which means you need to know the rules." I handed him the bag; it had been a while before I even looked at the rules but maybe Chaos or Havok could go over them with him.
Rylin would have already gotten a hold of Xavier for his little display after Havok and Chaos had left the main room. Though I was going to get into trouble for not listening to Chaos and taking Sean to his room instead of to Benjamin. I pulled out my phone.
To Benjamin,
I hereby give you permission to enter the Legend wing tonight.
Enter through the main doors, hang a right first hallway hang a left next hallway go left. Walk all the way to the end of the hall last door on your right. Come see Sean. Was supposed to take him to you but he said he was too tired.
Cole (kitty face)
Sean looked over my shoulder at the message as I pressed send. And started laughing. That wasn't exactly the answer I was expecting so I guess it wasn't too bad. "What is so funny about the message? It has to be formal, and he doesn't know his way around the wing, so I figured I'd lead him here."
He looked at me for a second. "Typing (kitty face) won't actually put a kitty face at the end of it. You have to go into your emojis to find the kitty face and put it there."
I shook my head. "I've always done it that way, no one ever said anything to me about not getting a kitty face. That is my thing at the bottom of my messages."
Sean placed a hand on my shoulder. "You are going to teach me how to fight. I can teach you how to use your phone better." He finished the bag, before handing it to me. "I think it tastes a little better when it is warm."
I laughed, truthfully, I had never had bagged stuff myself. "Now seeing how Havok did a horrible job giving you an introduction. Maybe in the morning I can show you around the wing and the palace too. I think we can grab Leo and Garrett and go for a walk around?"
He looked down at his outfit. "Can we ditch the cloaks for it, pretty please?"
I laughed for a second. "I think something can be arranged. I'll chat with Carm and see if she can occupy Chaos enough that we can tell him you spilt something on your cloak and your other ones are all at the cave and we haven't gone to get them yet."
He nodded. "I have oatmeal in the morning with jam. I can spill that on my cloak a little bit but in the worst spot, so it has to be cleaned."
I winked. "And since our laundry went out today it will mean you have to wait until next week to get it sent out. And maybe you can convince him to let us ditch these things, they really get in the way."
He laughed for a second. "If everyone hates them, why do we wear them?"
I laughed. "I asked Chaos that question once. It took him over 3 hours to explain it to me and my brain was hurting not that I could actually remember anything other than it had some odd thing to do with some weird vampire history. I tried to tell him that they are a huge pain when I try to shift in the middle of a fight, after that he let up and said only in the palace." I leaned towards him. "Truthfully, I think that is the real reason why Leo left the legend, he got tired of it. And wanted to wear normal clothes."
A knock came on the door.
Benjamin came in holding Captain America Civil War and a big bag of chips. Sean lit up when he seen the human food.
Benjamin looked around the room. "No TV. How are we going to have movie night?"
I laughed for a second. "I have one in my room; I can bring it down. It is only a small portable DVD player one if you are okay with that?"
Benjamin nodded. "That would be great, you can stay and watch it with us if you want. I normally let Sean get ready for bed and then we watch it, when the movie is done, I turn it off and go back to my room. Or at least that is what I'll do tonight."
I nodded, "Sounds perfect." I looked at Benjamin. "You have everything here? If anyone comes to the door and gives you problems just show them that message and we should be fine."
He nodded to me as I raced off to go get the player and TV. It had been ages since I had sat down and watched a movie. So, tonight was going to be a fun treat. Usually with Carm we were forced to watch fox and the hound.
