Chapter 535 Future War 1

800 years in the future.
At Sanctuary Bubblegum was gearing herself up with a few various gadgets and weapons and she had G2 sync with her armor for a special surprise for Gumbald and her enemies. She grabbed the Blurpleberry Supreme and she had Citrus Twisty summoned. The soda genie appeared in the lab ready to help.
"I need you to keep a close eye on the Breakfast Kingdom, Lizard Kingdom, and Farmer Village, if they start to mobilize their forces and head towards Gumbaldia, I need you to use your powers to set off the time bombs we got from Zim and had placed in those kingdoms and village." Said Bubblegum.
"You got it." Said Citrus Twisty.
"Also can you use your power to extend the length of the time bombs?" Asked Bubblegum.
"I can make the freezing affects of the bombs last a week." Said Citrus Twisty.
"Great that should be more then enough time to beat Gumbald's army, get to the Timenado, and return to my proper time." Said Bubblegum.
"Best of luck to you. I'll join and aid you as soon as the time bombs go off." Said Citrus Twisty before flying off.
With that said, Bubblegum headed out of the lab and met up with Simon, Chicle, Neddy, and Eria.
"The preparations have been made and everyone is in place." Said Chicle.
"Let's go over the plan again." Said Neddy.
"I will hand myself over to Gumbald and his forces along with the Blurpleberry Supreme. Eria will take Nora and Ezra and fly them out of the area and back to Sanctuary. I'll then active my little surprises that should help me get away from Gumbald and his forces and then our forces will spring into action." Said Bubblegum.
"You sure you're ok with this mom?" Asked Neddy.
"I'm sure. I won't have harm come to my grandchildren." Said Bubblegum.
"Alright let's get to it then." Said Simon.
The little group headed out of Sanctuary and towards Gumbaldia. A hour later they arrived at the outskirts of Gumbaldia, where they saw Gumbald, Bebe, Green Knight, Double Bubblegum, Black Hat, Thromnambular, Chachi the Chewing Gum Seal, and Mochio the chocolate boy. Among the villains were Nora and Ezra who wore shackles on their wrists.
Bubblegum's group approached Gumbald and his forces, until they were a few yards away and Gumbald raised his hand.
"That's close enough." Said Gumbald.
"Kids are you alright?" Asked Neddy looking at his children.
Nora and Ezra nodded their heads. Simon glared at Gumbald and Black Hat with a intense glare as he held a magic staff he brought with him.
"Now let us begin this little exchange. First you will toss the Blurpleberry Supreme to Bebe and will let one of the kids go over to you and then Bubblegum will disarm herself and come over and we will let the other child go. After that the children will be allowed to return to your little home in peace. This acceptable to you?" Said Gumbald.
"It's acceptable." Said Bubblegum.
"So who came up with this little plan?" Asked Simon.
"Oh that would be me. I heard about Bubblegum's return to Ooo and all the trouble you've been giving Gumbald by attacking his factories and facilities and gathering the freed territories behind you to create an army. It was very sickening and concerning, so I decided to throw my hat in and provide some assistance, by coming up with this lovely little plan and here we are, about to make history." Said Black Hat with a smirk.
"So why did you decide to get involved?" Asked Eria.
"Oh I love this world Gumbald has created, so much evil and carnage has gone on these past 800 years and I've loved every second of it, so I couldn't just let Bubblegum travel back to the past and risk her undoing it now could I. Also this plan gives me something really evil and special to do." Said Black Hat.
"What's that?" Asked Bubblegum.
"Destroying hope. You've come so far, only to get crushed whenever everything seems to be going your way." Said Black Hat with a twisted evil grin.
"Yes you all worked so hard, but once the grandkids we're captured you gave up just to save them. Very predictable." Said Gumbald.
"Not everyone is a heartless monster like you dad." Said Chicle with a glare.
"True. Now let's move on shall we." Said Gumbald.
Bubblegum handed the Blurpleberry Supreme to Neddy, who used his psychic powers to levitate the jewel over to Bebe, who grabbed it with glee.
"My precious Blurpleberry Supreme! Oh how I missed you!" Said Bebe as she kissed the jewel before pulling out King Two-Tons-of-Candy's Nemes and put the jewel in the crown.
Bebe laughed as tiny balls of different colored soda formed in her hands and danced in the air. Gumbald smiled at his daughter. He then snapped his fingers and Nora's shackles dropped to the ground. Nora looked down at the shackles and then at Gumbald who motioned her to move along. She did as she was told and went over to her mother and father, who hugged her and said everything was going to be ok.
"Next. Don't forget to remove your armor Bubblegum and I want you to do it at the halfway point." Said Gumbald.
Bubblegum walked to the halfway point and removed her Battle Ready Armor placing it on the ground. As she did that Ezra's shackles were removed and he began to walk forward. Ezra met Bubblegum at the halfway point.
"Don't worry Ezra everything is going to be fine. We have a plan." Whispered Bubblegum to Ezra.
This cheered Ezra up a little as he rejoined his parents and sister. Neddy gave his twin children a hug and a kiss and Eria took them into her arms and quickly flew off. Bubblegum reached Gumbald who shackled her with a special set of handcuffs that covered her hands.
"I know you can only fire candy from your hands, so those will prevent you from using your powers." Said Gumbald.
"So what exactly are you going to do with Bubblegum?" Asked Chicle looking at his father.
"Well we can't keep her alive since she posses a threat, so will just kill her in a very cruel way." Said Gumbald before snapping hid fingers.
A couple of large sections of the ground behind Gumbald and his allies opened up and out of the ground on a a couple of giant platforms rose the Prize Ball Guardian and Gumbald's giant robot know as The Cake armed with it's cake and laser shooting candle. Gumbald then held his gauntleted hands up and the gems in his helmet and gauntlet glowed as Gumbald activated the Gems of Cronus. Everyone watched as Gumbald was surrounded by yellow cosmic energy that grew into a giant translucent humanoid that wore it's own helmet and gauntlets with Gumbald in it's chest.
"One of the many powers I learned to use from the Gems of Cronus. Now I will use their power to obliterate Bubblegum once and for all!" Declared Gumbald.
"The Prize Ball Guardian and The Cake are here to help make sure, you don't interfere. They are also sending a live video broadcast of Bubblegum's execution to all of Gumbaldia and the rest of Ooo." Said Bebe looking at Simon and the others.
Simon and his group then glanced over at Gumbaldia and noticed a large gathering of Gumbald's forces gathered to watch the execution from afar. They all saw numerous Safety Bots, REDs, MONQIs, tanks, a few ships, helicopters, and blimps among the gathered crowd who looked like they were getting mobilized to head out for battle.
"After I'm done destroying Bubblegum, I'm going to send my armies out to pay the freed territories, Zimtopia, and Sanctuary a nice visit and remind them who the master of the world really is!" Said Gumbald.
"You would dare attack our homes after this?" Demanded Neddy.
"I would and I would start by killing all of you, but I'll give you a ten minute head start just to make things fun." Said Gumbald.
"I do so enjoy a good hunt." Said Black Hat.
"You really our a jerk. Luckily I know exactly how you think." Said Chicle with a smirk.
Gumbald ignored his son and prepared to blast Bubblegum with energy from his gauntlets. Bubblegum looked up at Gumbald and closed her eyes as she dropped a small round object from her hands. The object hit the ground and it exploded into a bright light that blinded Gumbald, Black Hat, Bebe, Green Knight, Double Bubblegum, Thromnambular, Chachi, and Mochio. Simon, Neddy, and Chicle weren't blinded by the blast because they had closed their eyes. As all that happened Bubblegum's armor stood up by itself, since now it was being controlled by G2. The armor raced to Bubblegum and wrapped itself around her body putting her back inside itself and took off into the air.
"No! You will not escape!" Yelled Gumbald as vision began to come back and he began blasting at Bubblegum.
Bubblegum flew around as both Gumbald's allies and Bubblegum's allies went at one another. Neddy grabbed Chachi and Mochio and slammed them together with his powers and stunned them, Chicle blasted at Bebe and Double Bubblegum forcing them to dodge about, Simon fired a freeze blast at Green Knight and froze up in a large mound of ice, and then he faced both Black Hat and Thromnambular.
"I'll finally have my revenge on you wizard!" Yelled Thromnambular as he prepared to attack, but Black Hat raised his hand and stopped him.
"Sorry to step in, but Simon is mine. I desire to fight and destroy the greatest symbol of good in the world and Simon is that. You can find someone else to fight and destroy." Said Black Hat.
"No! That wizard ruined my chance for freedom over 800 years ago and I will have my revenge!" Growled Thromnambular.
"I can respect the desire for revenge, but Simon and I have a bit of a history that has been leading up to this point. A battle between good and evil. Now I would fight you for that privilege to fight Simon, but that would be counterproductive for both us and our allies. Now why don't you go over to the army and give them the signal to start marching. After all the invading and destruction is over you and I can settle this dispute with a good old fashioned fight. That fine with you?" Said Black Hat.
Thromnambular and Black Hat stared each other down for a few seconds and then Thromnambular turned towards Gumbaldia and let out an angry growl.
"Fine."
Thromnambular teleported over to the forces gathered outside Gumbaldia. Black Hat smiled and faced Simon.
"Hello again Simon, thank you for waiting for me to settle that. Now we can finally have our fight." Said Black Hat.
"Let us settle this once and for all." Said Simon.
Black Hat moved with incredible speed as he began to hurl magical knives at Simon who spun around his staff and deflected the knives away with ease as he moved towards Black Hat. Simon deflected a few dozen more knives, until he reached Black Bat and thruster his staff at him. Black Hat raised six swords in his hands to block the attack. There was a mighty cracking sound and Black Hat was sent skidding back a few yards away before he stopped himself. Black Hat looked at his six swords and saw they were shattered to bits.
"Show off." Said Black Hat in annoyance as he dropped the destroyed weapons.
"Enough games. Let's get serious." Said Simon with a serious look on his face.
"I agree." Said Black Hat as he pulled out his cane and it glowed with red energy.
Simon and Black Hat shouted as they charged forward and began to exchange blows with their staff and cane.
Gumbald meanwhile was still trying to blast Bubblegum and both the Prize Ball Guardian and The Cake had joined in on trying to hit her. Neddy came to his mother's aid by using his psychic powers to throw the Prize Ball Guardian off balance and make it crash and become entangled with The Cake. Bubblegum flew close to the two giant robots as Gumbald fired again at her and she dodged the blast and it struck the robots instead. Rust and cracks formed on the robots and they both fell into a heap on the ground.
"Oh no you made me destroy my robots what a shame." Said Gumbald in a casual manner as he looked at his robots.
Bubblegum watched as Gumbald zapped his robots again, but instead of doing more damage to them the blast fully repaired and restored the robots and they stood up ready to fight again.
"Please my power can destroy and restore. It's fa ew of the first things I learned and mastered." Said Gumbald before going back to blasting at Bubblegum.
As all that was happening Thromnambular approached the army of troops gathered outside Gumbaldia and found Sir Slicer.
"Begin mobilization, we're going to kill all those heroes then march onto the enemy territories." Said Thromnambular.
"All troops prepare to move out! Release the Kenneth!" Said Sir Slicer.
A large silo in Gumbaldia opened and a large amount of disgusting ooze came out and took on the humanoid form of Kenneth! Kenneth let out a roar as he beat his chest and the army cheered. The giant monster began to stomp forward past the army and towards where Bubblegum and Gumbald's forces were fighting and the rest of the army began to follow. They had it a few hundred yards, when there was a very loud crack of thunder from above. Then a enormous bolt of lightning flew down from the heavens and struck Kenneth and smashed him into the ground creating a great flash of light. The light then faded to reveal El Niño Loco in his giant form standing on Kenneth. The giant king of the Cloud Kingdom faced the army and unleashed a storm of lightning blast that destroyed a good deal of the robots, vehicles, and infantry.
Thromnambular quickly raised a shield around himself and Sir Slicer to protect themselves. Sir Slicer pulled out a walkie talkie and began to shout orders into it.
"Bring out the next wave! Bring out Mecha-Gorillasaur, the Hammer, and the Mega Pirate on the double!"
More troops came out of Gumbaldia and three enormous platforms rose out of the ground with Mecha-Gorillasaur, the Hammer, and the Mega Pirate on them. The new forces began to march out to attend El Niño Loco, when dozens of missiles and lasers struck the new wave of enemies. The Mecha-Gorillasaur, the Hammer, and the Mega Pirate managed to survive the surprised onslaught, but the robots, vehicles, and infantry weren't so lucky.
"What is going on?" Demanded Gumbald in both annoyance and confusion after seeing his forces take a great deal of damage.
The air out in the distance began to flicker to reveal the Really Really Incredibly Destructive Machine now piloted by Zim, the Destructinator, dozens of tanks and ships from Zimtopia and Sanctuary, and troops from Sanctuary and the freed territories.
"We used Zim's cloaking technology to sneak our forces over here for a surprise attack." Said Bubblegum with a smirk.
The ground near the gathered army of good burst open as Earth stood up with Django on her shoulder and hundreds of dwarfs and Jungle People rushed out. A hole in the sky suddenly ripped open and warriors from Lumpy Space Kingdom and the Cloud King poured out with ships.
"As you can see dad, we've been busy." Said Chicle with a smirk.
Gumbald glared at the enemy army.
"So what if you put army together and took down some of my troops, I still have way more troops and weapons at my disposal and I'll let them handle you." Said Gumbald as he made the giant translucent humanoid that surround him vanish.
Gumbald zapped the ice that held the Green Knight and freed him and then he made a portal appear behind him and shouted some orders at his forces.
"Bebe. Chachi. Mochio. Green Knight. Come with me. Double Bubblegum I'll leave you behind with the Prize Ball Guardian, The Cake, and the army to deal with this trash." Said Gumbald before he went through the portal followed by the others.
The portal closed and Double Bubblegum and the two giant robots began to attack the heroes as the two opposing armies charged forward to do battle. El Niño Loco picked up the stunned form of Kenneth and hurled him into Mecha-Gorillasaur before he charged into battle.
Elsewhere the armies of the Breakfast Kingdom, Lizard Kingdom, and Farmer Village began to mobilize and were prepared to head out, forcing Citrus Twisty to set off the time bombs freezing the three kingdoms. Citrus Twisty made sure all three sights were frozen and then she raced off to help her friends.
Miles away at Black Hat's manor, Dr. Flug, Doktor Frogg, Demencia, and 5.0.5 watched the battle taking place on some monitors. One monitor showed Black Hat and Simon fighting and flinging energy and spells at each other.
"Oh this is going to be good! I want to join in the fun!" Said Demencia.
"I suppose we have no choice, but to join in." Said Dr. Flug.
"Then we have to activate the lair's mobile battle function." Said Doktor Frogg.
"Yes!" Shouted Demencia with excitement.
The four of them headed to a control room with seats. They strapped themselves in and Dr. Flug and Doktor Frogg pushed some buttons. The manor began to shake as it sprouted eight large robotic spider legs and and robotic spider head at the front. The giant robot spider stood up and raced to join the battle.
Elsewhere Eria arrived at Sanctuary with Nora and Ezra. Betty was there to greet them.
"Has the palace been evacuated and the computer equipment that holds G2 been removed?" Asked Eria.
"It has." Said Betty.
"What's going on mommy?" Asked Nora.
"Grandpa created a special spell to be used in emergencies that involves the palace. I'm going to go use it to help grandpa and dad." Said Eria.
"Can we come help?" Asked Ezra.
"No sweetie, I need both of you to stay with grandma." Said Eria before she hugged and kissed both her children.
"If careful out there Eria." Said Betty.
"I will mom." Said Eria as she hugged Betty.
Eria headed to the palace to activate the spell that she hoped would help win the war and save the future.
