hello and welcome to chapter 14 of pokémon adventures. This chapter will be mainly Akira and Lucy training their pokémon and relaxing whilst Jason will also train shinx a little bit.

on the battle arena next to the pokémon center Natasha was helping trian Akira and Lucy as all six of their pokémon were out of their pokéballs.

Riolu was with Lucario as Pirnplup and Pirmape was training with Natasha's Toxicroak. Graveler, Golett, Nidorino and Charcadet were getting trained by Natasha's Heracross.

Gloom and Haunter were being trained by Natashas Hitmonlee. Gyarados was training against Natasha's Hitmonchan

Fletchinder and Kingler were training with Natasha's infernape as Natasha was with Akira and Lucy. "ok you two i know your kids but you two also need to train yourselves so i want you to take an obstacle course to train and become agile you can do this for as long as you want im retired so training young and new pokémon trainers would be nice". she said as Akira looked at the obstacle course.

"alright I got this". he said as he ran up and climbed up a rock climbing area. once up her saw a rope as he grabed it swung but when he tried to grab the other rope he missed and fell.

Akira Luckily had fingerless gloves on so he did not get any rope burn as Lucy ran up to Akira who fell into a pool of foam shaped in cubes. "ok that was harder then i thought it was going to be". he said as he looked up to see Lucy reach her hand out to him.

Akira grabed the hand as Lucy pulled him out of the foam pit. "ok that was harder then i thought". he said as Natasha walked up and Gave Lucy fingerless gloves. "you might need this". "thanks Mrs Natasha". she bowed.

"no need to bow". Natasha chuckled as Lucy put the gloves on.

Lucy then tried the obstacle course herself but also fell to the foam pit just like Akira. After Akira helped Lucy out the foam pit. "ok i will admit thats harder then it looks". Akira nodded as he looked at the course. "well im going to keep trying until i complete it".

with Riolu and Lucario Riolu was using quick attack atempting to hit Lucario as Lucario avoided the attack.

Riolu then used metal claw charging towards Lucario but instead of hitting Lucario Riolu hit the ground causing the ground to crack and some rocks in the air.

"for a baby he's quite strong". Lucario thought as he saw Riolu then hit the rocks sending it to Lucario.

Lucario used bone rush using the large bone to deflect or block the rocks. Riolu then used quick attack to run at the distracted pokémon hitting him.

Lucario smiled as Riolu finally managed to hit him as Riolu then used brick break going to hit Lucario as Lucario used the bone to block the attack as he then spun Riolu around swinging the bone hitting his back as Riolu was sent flying.

Riolu used metal claw on the ground slowing him down as he then ran to Lucario. Lucario used another Bone rush swinging foward to hit him but Riolu used bite to stop the swing as he he pushed the bone back and hit Lucario with brick break.

Lucario took a step back as Lucario smiled at him. "not bad kid". he spoke standing up as Riolu smirked. "heh thanks".

Lucario then used extreeme speed apearing disapearing from Riolu's vision as Lucario was suddenly behing him. "but you gotta do better then that". he said now using bone rush hitting Riolu again as he fell to the ground.

at the team sky hide out Simon was using one of the pokémon he had been giving practicing their moves. "Gigalith use stone edge". he said as the Gigalith used stone edge hitting a large metal wall ment for practice as the wall broke.

Hunter entered the area Simon was in seeing the Gigalith and Simon as he walked over to him. "Simon". Simon turned after hearing his name as he saw Hunter.

"what do you want Hunter". he asked returning Gigalith. "i did some reaserch on the two people we are assigned to take out and i noticed something".

"and whats that?". Simon asked raising an eyebrow. "well the pokémon we were given is a pwrfwct counter to the pokémon they have on them".

"really?". "yes it's very strange". he said sitting down. "i understand that team sky doesn't want them around but having pokémon to perfectly counter the current pokémon they have is quite strange". Hunter said rubbing his chin.

"well im not gonna question it if they want them gone they want them gone simple". he said as then a team sky member came in carrying a brief case as another came in aswell.

the two men then came up to the two boys. "Simon Hunter". one of them said as the the two bows stood up and saluted. "yes sir". they both said.

"we were told to give you these". one of the sky member said as each men gave them a brief case.

"wonder whats inside". Simon thought opening it as he saw a weird metalic glove and with an orb in the middle and another orb next to it.

"mega stones?". Hunter said as Simon looked at him. "what are mega stones?". the sky member answered Simons question. "mega stones allow a certain pokémon to mega evolve by undergoing mega evolution but that requires a bond and friendship with the pokémon but our scientist found a way to mega evolve pokémon without that issue with this glove just put it on and give this Alakazite to your Alakazam Simon and he will become Mega Alakazam a more powerful pokémon".

Simon smiled liking the sound of what the sky member said. "and you Hunter the mega stone you have is a Sceptilite which will allow Scaptile to mega evolve".

Hunter nodded then bowed. "right thank you sir". the aky member nodded as Hunter and Simon took the items inside of the the brief case as the two men took the brief case and left.

Simon put on the glove and grabed the Alakazite. "hmm want to test them out Hunter?". he asked looking to Hunter who was putting on his glove. "sure". he said as he sent out Sceptile as Simom sent out Alakazam.

Simon grave the Alakazite to Alakazam and Hunter gave the Sceptilite to to Sceptile. they then went to seperate side of the arena. "alright then Sceptile mega evolve!!".

it had been a couple of hours as Akira and Lucy were sitting on a bench sweating and drinking water as Natasha walked up to the both of them. "let's take a break for now". she said as Akira nodded.

"Riolu". they heard a voice as Riolu ran up to Akira jumping on to him. "good to see you too Riolu". he said as Graveler with gloom on top of him tired ran to Akira Golett walking to Akira very exhausted as Fletchinder flew to Akira landing next to him.

Prinplup walked up to Lucy along with Haunter next to him. Primape was being carried by Toxicroak as he was exhausted Nidorino ran up to Lucy with Charcadet next to him and Gyarados slithered over to them.

"hey you guys". Lucy said hugging all of her pokémon. "lets get something to eat". Natasha said as everyone nodded.

"Infernape!". Natasha's Infernape shouted rubbing his belly and licking his lips as Lucario Giggled a bit.

the group had arrived to a restaurant as they all sat down. Riolu made sure Akira was near Lucario so he can sit next to Lucario and Akira.

Akira, Riolu, Primape, and Nidorino had ordered Spaghetii and was eating whilst Lucy ordered Rice balls and curry.

Natasha had ordered Ramen including Toxicroak and Hitmonchan. Hitmonlee, Infernape, Haunter, Gloom and Graveler ordered a sandwich.

Jason, Shinx, Fletchinder and Kingler had order Lazagna. Charcadet had ordered some Spicy suop as Golett doesn't need to eat as he was simply sitting down chating with Infernape.

"so Natasha what made you become a member of the elite four?". Akira asked. "well it was when i was traveling in my Journey on becoming a fighting type master as i decided to take on the Gym Challenges".

she had a smile on her face as she continued. "i had managed to get eight badges and took on the elite four and even took on the Sinnoh chanpion at that time".

"really did you win?". Lucy asked as Natasha shook her head. "no i lost the battle but it was quite an intese battle".

flash back

a very young Natasha was battling a man using a Glalie as he avoided Lucarios Aura sphere and hit Lucario with a blizzard.

"Lucario use extreem speed!!". Natasha shouted as Lucario quickly ran up to Glaile hitting him into the air. "now use Aura sphere". she said as Lucario sent an aura sphere towards Glalie. "weather ball". the man said as Glalie charged a weather ball shooting it at the aura sphere as the two attacks clashes and canceled each other out.

"Lucario return". Natasha said as she then sent out Infernape. "infernape!!". he shouted. "Infernape use flare blitz". she said as Infernape covered in flames charged towards Glalie hitting it as Glalie was knocked out. Infernape was hurt by recoil damage.

the man returned Glalie as he then sent out a Gallade. "Gallade use swords dance". he said as Gallade started to use swords dance. "Infernape use lash out!". Natasha shouted as Infernape used Lash out but Gallade avoided the attack whilst still using swords dance by fliping over Infernape.

"heh Gallade use psycho cut". the made said as he ran to Infernape. "Gallade!". he shouted hitting infernape on the back sending the pokémon flying hitting the wall causing a large dent and cracks all over.

"infernape you ok?". Natasha asked as Infernape got out of the wall and nodded to her. "alright then use Close combat!". she shouted as Infernape ran up to Gallade. "use another psycho cut". the man said as Gallade sent another Psycho cut towards Infernape who jumped over the the attack and hit Gallade with close combat finishing it of with a punch to Gallades face sending the pokémon flying back.

Gallade quickly got up as the man spoke. "Gallade use Psybeam". he said as Gallade used Psybeam hitting Infernape as he fell to the ground.

Natasha looked worried as she was about to speak but then he got up. "in-infernape". he said covered in scratches.

"Gallade use X sciccor". the man seeing that Infernape is weakened. "Infernape use Reversal!!". Natasha shouted. "InferrrrNAAAPE!!!!". he shouted as he was surrounded by a yellow light then his fist started to glow white as he ducked bellow Gallades X sciccor and uppercuted the pokémon.

"Gala...". he said as he fell on his back knocked out. the man returned Gallade as he smiled. "well now im on my last pokémon". he said as he grabed a pokéball throwing it sending out his last pokémon. "Salamance!!!". it shouted out as he looked at Infernape his Intimidate ability effecting Infernape lowering his attack.

"Salamance Zen headbutt". the man said hitting the already weakened Infernape knocking him out. Natasha returned Infernape as she sent out her last pokémon. "Lucario!!". he shouted looking to Salamace. "Alright lets do this Lucario". Natasha said looking to Salamance.

"alright Salamance use flamethrower". the man said as Salamance shot fire at Lucario.

"Jump up in the air and use aura sphere!". "Lucario!". he shouted as he jumped in the air shooting an aura sphere at Salamance hitting his back.

"now follow up with a swords dance". she said as Lucario used swords dance landing on the ground. "use dragon claw!". the man said as Salamance rushed towards Lucario "use extreeme speed!!". she said as Lucario quickly rushed towards Salamance.

Both pokémon hit each other as they were sent back. "Now use aura sphere". "Cario!!". he shouted shooting an aura sohere. "dodge it then use Dragon rush". the man said flying above aura sphere then rushing towards Lucario hitting him with Dragon rush as Lucario hit the wall knocking him out.

end of flash back

"After that battle he told me that i was the strongest trainer he had battled and we shook hands". she said as Lucario nodded. "Lucario".

"and after that he asked if i wanted to become a member of the elite four since of their members were going to retire and i accepted it".

"that battle must've been intense". Akira said as Natasha nodded. "ya it was". she had finished her meal as she stood up seeing that her pokémon had finished. "well im going home for today bye". she said as she and her pokémon left the restaurant.

in the team sky base Simon was eating lunch as he spoke to Hunter. "so we were told a senior member was going to join us on our mission who do you think it is?".

Hunter who was looking at his metalic glove holding the key stone looked up then to him. "i don't know Simon".

"you know you've been staring at that glove for quite a while why is that?".

Hunter looked at the glove again then spoke. "well i've been thinking if this forces pokémon to mega evolve can we find other mega stones and forcefully mega evolve other pokémon at the same time".

Simon looked at him his eyebrows raising as he spoke. "i mean you could just ask the scientist who made them if they cold do that but i doubt it could i since it forcefuly makes a pokémon mega evolve so it probably only makes one pokémom mega ebolve".

Hunter nodded at what Simon said. "true".

suddenly a sky member walked up to the two of them and spoke. "you two you know about your mission correct?".

"yes sir". they said as the member nodded. "good cause the senior member has just arived from the Galar region".

Simon and Hunter looked at the door to see a man in his early twenties and a small beared on him walk up to the group.

the man walked up to them crossing his arms. "Hmph so your the noobies that im assigned to huh".

Simon had a tick mark on his head as Hunter continued to look at the glove. "hey im no noobie". Simon said as the man smirked. "whatever you say".

the other sky member walked between them and spoke. "anyway Simon this is Otis and he'll be with you and Hunter during your mission so no fighting each other".

Simon growled slightly as he turned around and sat down. "alright". he said as Otis looked to Hunter. "and what about you?".

Hunter looked at him and nodded to him. "greetings". he simply said. "well seems your the level headed one". Otis said as he sat down.

"so who are the people you guys are sent to take out?". Simon grabed a laptop as he handed it to him showinh the pictures of Akira and Lucy. "two kids?". he asked he then looked at Simon.

"you sure these are the targets?". Simon nodded. "yes it is but don't underestimate them". Simon said as Otis chuckled. "underestimate them hah don't make me laugh".

"hey im just saying if team sky wants them taken out then they must have some pretty powerful pokémon". Simon said as he put the laptop away.

time skip three days

it had been three days as Akira had managed to make it halfway through the obstacle course as he still fell to the foam pit.

Lucy had made it a little bit further as she had been in clothes ment for movement and flexibility that she had bought yesterday.

Akira getting out of the foam pit patted his shirt slightly as he went back to try the obsticle course again.

with the pokémon Fletchinder used Aerial ace and attempted to hit Heracross as she avoided the attack and used pin missle hitting Fletchinder.

"Fletchinder". she grunted falling to the ground.

"Hera". she said jumping side to side as Fletchinder got up and used quick attack circling around Heracross causing a little bit of dust around.

"Fletchinder!!". she shouted now using flame charge heading straight towards Heracross.

"Hera". she chuckled out as she used throat chop at Fletchinder. Fletchinder quickly flew up avoiding the attack then hitting Heracross making her take a step back.

"Fletchinder!". she cheered finally managing to hit Heracross as Fletchinder started to glow blue slightly.

"huh?". Akira said looking over to see Fletchinder glowing slightly as after the glow stoped Fletchindet had evolved into Talonflame. "Talonflame!!". she shouted out.

"Hahaha alright you evolved!!". Akira cheered running over and giving Talonflame a hug. "Talon". she cheered happily.

this is the end of chapter 14 of pokémo adventures next chapter will be a time skip to when Akira and Lucy finally manage to complete the obstacle course and leave Jubilife city.
