Chapter 9: The Destroyer

It had been four years since Goku and Gohan defeated the evil Buu. Since that day, Buu had been living at Capsule Corp, and despite his past, he had proven to be an unexpected ally. His strength was incredible, and it became a significant asset during Goku and Gohan's training. With Buu's help, they had managed to hone their Potential Unleashed forms to new heights.

Three years after the defeat of Buu, Gohan and Videl tied the knot. As a special gesture, Goku used Baba's abilities to bring Chi-Chi back for a day.

Gohan was overjoyed. It had been years since he'd seen his mother, and though he had moved forward, a part of him still longed for her presence. The same went for Goku—though he had moved on, it didn't mean he had forgotten about Chi-Chi or the life they had shared.

When Chi-Chi arrived, Gohan immediately ran to her, wrapping her in a tight embrace, tears welling in his eyes. "Mom... I missed you so much."

Chi-Chi, her own eyes glistening with tears, squeezed him back, her voice breaking. "I missed you too, Gohan. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you. I couldn't watch you grow. You've become such a strong, incredible man... and now, you're starting your own family." She pulled back slightly, looking into his eyes with the love only a mother could express. "Promise me, Gohan, you'll take care of her. Protect her, just like your dad protected you."

Gohan nodded, his voice firm, though his heart was heavy. "I promise, Mom. I'll protect her... just like Dad protected all of us. I'll do everything I can."

Chi-Chi smiled softly, brushing a tear from her cheek. Then, her gaze shifted to Goku, who had been watching silently. She gave him a wistful smile. "Hi, Goku. How have you been?"

Goku grinned brightly, as he always did, but there was a softness in his eyes. "I'm fine, Chi-Chi."

The air between them felt light, but there was an unspoken understanding there. Chi-Chi's curiosity sparked, and she couldn't help but ask, "I'm happy to see you've moved on. Tell me, how did it happen?"

Goku's smile grew a little warmer as he turned to look at Gohan, then back to Chi-Chi. "Well... it's because of Gohan, actually."

Chi-Chi raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "How so?"

Goku sighed, looking thoughtful. "For years, after I lost you, I wasn't really myself. I was just... lost. But seeing Gohan reminded me of you. It helped me heal, in a way. And then, during those years, when I was training for the Saiyans to come, Bulma... she took care of Gohan. She became like a second mother to him. And over time, Gohan and Bulma became really close. She treated him like her own son."

Goku's voice softened as he continued, the weight of those years evident in his words. "Four years later, Gohan suggested I marry her. At first, I didn't know if I could. But I gave it a try... and, well, it happened. We're together now, and... it feels right."

Chi-Chi sat in silence for a moment, her eyes searching Goku's face. A smile tugged at her lips, and her voice softened as she spoke. "I'm glad you've found happiness, Goku. I really am."

She then turned to Bulma, who had been quietly watching the exchange. "Thank you, Bulma," Chi-Chi said, her voice full of gratitude. "Thank you for taking care of Gohan all these years. I'm sure it wasn't easy."

Bulma, ever the practical one, shrugged, a small smile playing on her lips. "It wasn't always easy, but I'm glad I could be there for him... and for you, Goku. And besides," she chuckled, "Goku's a little dense sometimes, so someone had to look out for him."

Chi-Chi laughed softly, her heart lightening. "Oh, I know," she said, shaking her head. "But even so, I can't say I'm not happy for you both."

Bulma's eyes softened, and she looked at Gohan. "Well... I should thank you too, Chi-Chi. Without you, I wouldn't have the wonderful son I have in Gohan."

Gohan smiled warmly, the bond between the two women undeniable. It was a simple moment, but the love and understanding between them spoke volumes.

Chi-Chi, smiling through her tears, looked at Goku and Gohan. "I may not have been there for everything, but I'm so proud of the men you've become."

Goku smiled, a genuine, heartfelt smile. "We're proud of you too, Chi-Chi."

And for that brief moment, it felt like everything was right in the world. The past, the pain, and the loss—they were all part of their journey. But here they were, moving forward, stronger and more connected than ever before.

As Gohan and Videl stood before their loved ones, exchanging their vows, the Capsule Corp Hall erupted into cheers and applause. Hercule, standing proudly at the back, couldn't help but beam with joy. He had watched his daughter grow from a little girl into the strong, independent woman she was now. Seeing her so happy, marrying the man she loved, filled him with pride. The years had passed, but in this moment, it felt like all of them had led to this beautiful day.

With a tender kiss, Gohan and Videl sealed their vows, and the crowd cheered louder. It was official—Gohan and Videl were now husband and wife. The bond between them was more than just words; it was built on years of love, understanding, and the shared experiences they'd had together.

At the back of the room, Trunks stood beside his younger siblings—three-year-old Goten and Bulla. He watched the scene with an awkward expression, feeling both happy for his family but also strangely uneasy. Goten, however, didn't seem to have the same reservations.

"Eww!" Trunks said with a scrunched-up face, his voice dripping with teenage distaste.

"Trunks!" Bulma snapped, not missing the sarcasm in her son's tone. "It's their wedding! Don't mock them."

Trunks huffed and crossed his arms, but his teenage skepticism was hard to hide. "Well, they've done that many times before," he said, his tone flat, though the hint of a smirk was on his lips.

Goten, the ever-innocent one, tilted his head, completely oblivious to the discomfort in the room. "Yeah, but Dad and Mom kiss all the time, too! It's not that weird." He added this with such a matter-of-fact tone, "you'd think he was talking about something as simple as eating breakfast."

The entire room let out a soft laugh, but the spotlight quickly shifted to Goten's unintentional mimicry of his father's behavior. His resemblance to Goku was uncanny—not just in appearance, but in his carefree, innocent attitude and sometimes even his cluelessness.

Bulla, the ever-observant one, smiled knowingly as she nudged trunks gently. "Oh, you'll see, trunks," she said teasingly, her voice laced with a wisdom beyond her years. "In a few years, you'll probably be doing the same thing."

Trunks immediately froze, his face flushing with embarrassment. The thought of him falling in love and doing all that "wedding stuff" sent a rush of discomfort through him. He shifted uncomfortably, suddenly very interested in the floor beneath him.

With that, the newlyweds, Gohan and Videl, began their life as husband and wife. The room buzzed with excitement, but for Gohan, it was a moment of deep satisfaction. He had found someone who understood him, someone he could build a future with. The road ahead would be filled with challenges, but for now, they could enjoy this simple, beautiful moment. Together.

As for Trunks, Goten, and Bulla, they were still too young to fully grasp the depth of love and commitment, but they would learn in their own time. The future might be uncertain, but as long as they had their family, there was nothing they couldn't face together.

Chi-Chi watched as Goten, with his innocent comments and carefree attitude, mimicked his father's behavior so perfectly. Her eyes softened as she observed the young boy, her heart swelling with a mix of pride and nostalgia.

"Wow, Goku," she said, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "He's just like you—in appearance... but also in intelligence."

Goku, who had been laughing at Goten's antics, turned to Chi-Chi with a grin, oblivious to the underlying layers of her comment. "What do you mean, Chi-Chi?" he asked, genuinely curious.

Chi-Chi chuckled, shaking her head as she watched Goten interact with his siblings, completely unaware of the subtle humor that often flew over his head. "He's exactly like you, Goku. He's got the same look, the same heart, and the same... well, let's say, unique way of seeing things."

Goku scratched his head, still trying to piece together what she meant. "You mean like, strong and brave?" he asked, grinning.

Chi-Chi couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, that too, but also his... lack of focus." She looked at Goten, who was playfully poking Trunks, trying to get his attention, before turning back to Goku. "He's just like you were at that age—carefree, funny, and always lost in his own world."

Goku grinned sheepishly. "Hey, I was a little more serious back then, wasn't I?"

Chi-Chi rolled her eyes, but there was warmth in her gaze. "You were serious about food and fighting, Goku. But the rest of us had to catch up."

Goku laughed, his signature carefree chuckle filling the room. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

As the end of the day approached chi chi left to other world as Gohan the next heir of capsule corp decided to help his mother while balancing his married life and training.

And videl asked bulma if she can help bulma gladly agreed as Gohan might not bear all the burdens.

And a year has passed.

Far off in a distant place, a purple cat stirred from his deep slumber. This was Beerus, the Destroyer, waking up from a long, restless sleep.

Groggily, he rubbed his eyes and called out to his ever-loyal attendant, "Whis!"

Whis's calm voice responded from the other side of the room, "Yes, my lord?"

Beerus yawned, stretching and reclining back, "How many years has it been since I last slept?"

Whis replied without missing a beat, "Thirty-nine years, Lord Beerus."

A sudden wave of memory hit Beerus, and his eyes narrowed. "Wait… Thirty-nine years ago, I had a premonition. What was it?" he murmured to himself, trying to recollect the hazy vision.

Whis, always the helpful attendant, tilted his head slightly. "Well, why don't you ask the Oracle Fish, my lord?"

Beerus grunted in acknowledgment, "Right. Of course."

After a long, luxurious bath and a hearty meal, Beerus sat up on his throne, his expression turning serious. "Oracle Fish!" he called.

The small, aquatic Oracle Fish appeared in front of him, swimming gracefully in the air. "Yes, Lord Beerus?"

"Do you remember the premonition you gave me thirty-nine years ago?" Beerus asked, his tone sharp and expectant.

The Oracle Fish nodded, its voice steady. "Yes, Lord Beerus. It was about your successor."

Beerus's ears perked up, his interest piqued. "My successor, huh? And who is it?" he asked, his voice low with curiosity.

The Oracle Fish blinked. "It is a Saiyan… with a pure heart."

Beerus's eyes widened slightly, his tail flicking in irritation. "Are you kidding me?" he growled, the disbelief thick in his voice. "A Saiyan with a pure heart? No way. I've seen enough of them to know that no Saiyan could possibly have a pure heart. Sure, they might make good candidates for power, but pure-hearted? You've got to be joking."

The Oracle Fish remained calm, unaffected by Beerus's tone. "No, my lord. I speak the truth. A Saiyan, with a heart of purity."

Beerus scoffed, clearly skeptical, "I believe a Saiyan might be strong enough to be my successor, but pure-hearted? Nah, that's just impossible."

The Oracle Fish continued to insist, its voice unwavering. "I assure you, Lord Beerus, my premonitions have never been wrong. This Saiyan, with a pure heart, is real."

Beerus sighed, his irritation growing. He hated being wrong, but he also knew the Oracle Fish had never steered him wrong before. Reluctantly, he let out a low growl, "Fine. But this better not be some joke."

"Let's go visit Planet Vegeta. I hope that idiot King Vegeta will behave more wisely this time," Beerus muttered as he turned to Whis. "Whis, let's go."

Whis stood still, a rare look of hesitation on his face. "Apologies, Lord Beerus, but Planet Vegeta was destroyed thirty-nine years ago."

Beerus froze, his tail stiffening in disbelief. "What? How could it be gone? Explain."

The Oracle Fish remained silent, as if it already knew what was coming next.

"Lord Beerus," Whis said gently, "the destruction of Planet Vegeta was caused by Frieza."

A sharp, dangerous tension crept into Beerus's voice as his eyes flashed with anger. "That damn lizard. Let's go. I'll make sure he regrets that decision."

Whis calmly raised a hand. "No need, my lord. Frieza's dead. He's been gone for quite some time."

Beerus blinked, stunned. "What? How?"

Whis's expression remained calm, though there was a slight twinkle in his eye. "Prince Vegeta defeated him and took over his empire."

Beerus mulled over the information, his mind racing. "So, this Prince Vegeta might be my successor, huh?"

The Oracle Fish spoke up, its voice soft but firm. "No, Lord Beerus, not yet. He is not worthy as he is now. Perhaps with training, if he stops acting on impulse, but still… as I said, the Saiyan with a pure heart."

Beerus let out an exasperated sigh, leaning back in his seat. "I never expected this. A pure-hearted Saiyan, huh? Fine. Whis, scan for Saiyans. Let's see if we can find this so-called 'pure heart.'"

Whis nodded, his staff glowing as he ran a scan. A moment later, he smiled. "Ah, I believe we might have found him."

Beerus raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Really? Where is he?"

Whis's smile deepened. "His name is Son Goku, though you may know him better by his Saiyan name, Kakarot. He resides on Earth. From what I can see, he does indeed seem to have a pure heart. He has defeated Cooler, Frieza's older brother."

Beerus's eyes widened in surprise. "Cooler, huh? I know that name. He's more powerful than Frieza, and much more cunning. If this goku defeated him, this Saiyan might be more interesting than I thought."

Beerus turned to Whis, his tone shifting from irritation to curiosity. "Let's meet him, then. I want to see this 'pure-hearted' Saiyan for myself."

Whis nodded, his expression serene. "Of course, Lord Beerus. I'll prepare everything."

It was a lively evening on Earth as Bulma celebrated her birthday aboard a grand cruise ship. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and chatter as Goku, Gohan, Videl, trunks, goten, bulla, Hercule, Yamcha, and Tien enjoyed the party.

However, as the party continued, Goku suddenly felt something shift in the air. A feeling, an instinctive twinge, stirred deep within him. He couldn't sense any ki from the approaching figures, but something told him they were important.

Gohan, noticing his father's sudden change in demeanour, approached. "Dad, what's wrong?" he asked, concerned.

Goku shook his head, trying to brush off the uneasy feeling. "I don't know, Gohan. It's just... something feels off. But we should just enjoy the party."

Trying to shake off the unease, they continued mingling with the guests, but the air was thick with anticipation. Suddenly, a brilliant flash of light descended from the sky, forcing everyone to shield their eyes.

As the light faded, two figures stood before them on the deck of the ship. The first was a tall, purple cat-like figure with sharp features and an air of undeniable authority, flanked by a calm, silver-haired man. Beerus, the God of Destruction, and his attendant, Whis, stood before them, their presence commanding the attention of everyone around.

The music stopped, the chatter ceased, and everyone froze, staring at the two new arrivals.

Beerus took a step forward, his eyes locking with Goku, who instinctively tensed. There was something about this being—something in his very presence—that set Goku on high alert.

"So you're Son Goku," Beerus said with a casual, almost disinterested tone.

Goku, not sure of what to make of the situation, nodded cautiously. "Yeah, that's me."

Beerus tilted his head slightly, a smirk forming on his lips. "Well, I can see now that you're quite powerful. I've heard that you defeated Cooler. Is it true?"

Goku and Gohan exchanged a surprised glance. Goku's expression hardened, his guard immediately going up.

"Cooler?" Goku repeated, a hint of caution in his voice. "Why do you know about him? Are you related to him or something?"

Beerus chuckled, a sound that sent an odd chill through the air. "No, I have nothing to do with that lizard. I simply heard of your victory over him and decided to come and see for myself."

Goku remained silent, still unsure of what to make of this strange being before him. Beerus seemed oddly familiar with his past, but Goku had never encountered anyone like him before.

"Tell me, Son Goku, is this your full power?" Beerus asked, his voice challenging. "If this is all you can do, I'm honestly a bit disappointed."

Goku's brow furrowed, but his response was calm. "Who are you? How do you know so much about me? And why can't I sense your ki?"

Beerus smirked, clearly enjoying the conversation. "Ah, perceptive. I'm not just any being. I am the Destroyer God, Beerus," he announced with pride. "And this," he gestured toward Whis, "is my attendant, Whis."

Goku studied them carefully, his guard still up. The power radiating off Beerus was overwhelming, but there was something about it that felt… off. He could sense no malice, no evil in this being, but something still made his instincts scream caution.

"So, Beerus the Destroyer, what is it you want from me?" Goku asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and wariness. "Are you expecting something from me, like my help?"

Beerus twitched at the mention of "help." "Why would you think that?" he asked, slightly taken aback by Goku's bluntness.

"Well," Goku began, "four years ago, Supreme Kai came to Earth to stop Majin Buu. I figured if you're a god or something, you must have your reasons for visiting us."

Beerus raised an eyebrow at the mention of Supreme Kai. "Supreme Kai? Hmm… interesting. I see you've had some dealings with the gods."

Turning his attention back to Goku, Beerus's smirk deepened. "Well then, show me your full power. Let's see if you truly live up to the rumors."

Goku didn't hesitate. He rose into the air, focusing all of his energy. His Mystic Form enveloped him, the familiar translucent aura that he and Gohan shared radiating around him—though with a slight twist. Instead of the typical white hue, Goku's aura was a brilliant, ethereal blue.

Beerus's eyes widened slightly, impressed despite himself. "Hmm… powerful for a mortal, indeed."

Goku kept his focus, knowing that this being in front of him was no ordinary foe. Something in Beerus's presence told him this was just the beginning.

But despite the immense power Goku unleashed, Beerus couldn't help but feel doubt creep into his mind. The Oracle Fish had mentioned a Saiyan with a pure heart, and Goku's power was immense—strong enough to defeat Cooler, and yet Beerus couldn't help but wonder: could this Saiyan truly be the one to succeed him? Could he be a suitable Destroyer?

As Beerus examined Goku's power, he couldn't shake the thought: Is he really the right one?

"Fight me," Beerus ordered, his tone flat and expectant.

Goku raised an eyebrow, his mind working fast. "Huh? You want me to fight you?"

"Yes," Beerus said, with a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "I want to see how well you fare against me. Don't hold back—if you do, you will die."

Goku, without hesitation, unleashed his full power, his aura erupting in a bright, ethereal blue. He rushed forward, aiming a punch at Beerus, but the Destroyer sidestepped lazily, effortlessly dodging the attack. Goku, undeterred, charged again—but this time, he was forced to stop abruptly, as though an invisible force had yanked him back.

Beerus raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing in surprise. "Well, I was about to attack, but you pulled back on your own. Interesting. It's almost as if your body moved without your control."

Goku frowned, confused, but he didn't let it deter him. He rushed in once more, his attacks fast and fierce, but Beerus continued to dodge with ease. Goku was relentless, refusing to give up, yet he couldn't land a single blow.

The fight continued like this for several minutes, with Goku growing increasingly frustrated. Beerus, on the other hand, seemed indifferent, only slightly impressed by Goku's persistence. Finally, tired of the one-sided battle, Beerus flicked his finger casually.

In an instant, Goku was sent crashing into the ground, unconscious. The entire group gasped in shock as they rushed to his side—Bulma, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Videl, and Bulla—all of them relieved to see that Goku was fine, though knocked out.

The moments stretched on until, eventually, Goku began to stir. He opened his eyes to find Beerus standing over him, his stoic expression unchanging.

"Well, Saiyan," Beerus began, his voice as cold as ever, "you are strong, but you disappointed me. I thought you would give me a challenge, but instead, you didn't even entertain me."

The tension in the air thickened. Goku stood up slowly, wiping the dirt off himself, but he didn't speak immediately, his mind racing.

Beerus took a step forward, his voice hardening. "Since you couldn't provide me with a proper fight, I will destroy this planet."

Goku's heart sank, the weight of Beerus's words hitting him like a punch. This was the one thing he couldn't stop. No matter how powerful he was, there was nothing he could do to stop Beerus, the Destroyer. He couldn't bear the thought of everyone here dying because of him.

"Be glad," Beerus continued, his voice almost detached. "Once the blast hits this planet, you'll all open your eyes in Heaven."

Goku expression was filled with deep sadness as he took a step forward, looking directly at Beerus. "Lord Beerus, please... if you must destroy something, destroy me. Spare my family, my friends, and this planet. They have nothing to do with this."

A heavy silence fell. Bulma looked horrified, her voice shaking. "No, Goku! Don't do it! You can't—!"

Goku turned to her, his eyes full of determination and sorrow. "There's no other choice, Bulma. I can't protect you all this time. If it means saving the people I love, I'll do whatever it takes."

Beerus watched the exchange, a hint of amusement in his eyes. For a Saiyan, Goku's emotional attachment was… unusual. He had expected nothing but destruction from a Saiyan, yet Goku's plea was genuine. It surprised him.

Beerus stared at the pleading faces of Goku's family and then turned his attention back to the Saiyan before him. After a long pause, he spoke.

"I'll give you one option," Beerus said, his voice still cold. "Become my successor. Become the next Destroyer."

The words echoed in the air, shocking everyone present. Even Whis gave a subtle nod, acknowledging that this was exactly what Beerus had planned.

Goku blinked in surprise. "Wait… what?"

"I'll train you personally," Beerus continued. "You will be my successor, and in return, I will spare this planet. What do you say?"

The group was stunned into silence, trying to process Beerus's offer. Goku stood still, pondering the magnitude of what Beerus was asking.

Bulma looked at Goku with worry etched across her face. "Goku, please… don't do this."

Goku turned to his family, his eyes filled with a mixture of determination and sadness. "I'm sure. Earth… it's everything to me. If becoming a Destroyer means I can protect it… then I'll do it."

A heavy silence followed, as everyone watched Goku. Bulma, torn between supporting him and fearing the consequences, could only nod, unable to say anything more.

Goku turned back to Beerus, his voice firm. "I accept."

Beerus smirked, a glint of approval in his eyes. "Good. Whis will begin your training soon. Enjoy your time with your family—it's going to be a long road ahead."

With that, Beerus and Whis turned and left, leaving the group to process what had just happened.

Later, with Beerus and Whis:

Whis glanced at Beerus, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Well, I didn't expect you to act so quickly, Lord Beerus."

Beerus, who had remained silent for most of the journey back, finally spoke. "That mortal is powerful. I sensed his heart, and it surprised me to find a Saiyan with a pure heart. I didn't expect it, but he's certainly capable."

"What would you have done if he hadn't agreed?" Whis asked, half-curious, half-amused.

Beerus was silent for a moment, his expression unreadable. "I'm not sure. I didn't expect him to agree so quickly. But we're lucky he did."

Back on earth

Gohan took a deep breath as he approached Goku, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. "Dad, are you sure about this?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly. "I understand what Beerus is offering, but—"

Goku sighed, cutting him off. He placed a hand on Gohan's shoulder, his gaze distant as he thought about the weight of the decision he had just made. "Think about it, Gohan. What if the next enemy is as strong as Beerus, or even stronger? And there's nothing we can do to stop them? What if we're powerless to protect this planet... and everyone we care about?"

Gohan clenched his fists, his heart heavy with the burden of his father's words. The thought of facing an enemy as powerful as Beerus—or worse—was terrifying, but it also ignited a fiery sense of anger within him. No matter how hard they trained, no matter how far they pushed themselves, it never seemed to be enough. Goku, despite his unimaginable power, had to go and accept an offer to become a Destroyer just to protect them all.

His frustration grew. "It's not fair," Gohan muttered, more to himself than anyone else. "No matter how hard we try, it feels like we're always a step behind. We can train, we can get stronger, but it still might not be enough to face whatever comes next."

Goku glanced at Gohan, his eyes softening as he could see the frustration in his son's face. "I know, Gohan. But sometimes, we have to do the things we never imagined to protect what's most important to us. I've been through battles that I thought I couldn't win... but I always pushed forward, for you, for mom, for everyone."

Gohan's expression shifted, the frustration turning to a simmering mix of admiration and helplessness. He had always respected his father's resolve, but this was a whole new level of sacrifice. Goku was about to embark on a journey that could change everything—not just for him, but for their entire family.

"I just… I don't want you to lose yourself, Dad," Gohan said, his voice soft but determined. "I don't want you to become something you're not."

Goku nodded, his face serious for the first time since Beerus and Whis left. "I understand, Gohan. I won't forget who I am. But I need to become stronger, not just for myself, but for all of you. I have to protect this planet… and if that means accepting Beerus's offer, then I will."

Gohan stood there, silently digesting his father's words. The anger that had initially sparked in him slowly began to fade, replaced by a reluctant understanding. He could see it now—this wasn't just about power, or pride, or even being the strongest. This was about taking the responsibility of their survival to an extreme, doing whatever it took to protect the people they loved.

"I just wish… I wish we had more options," Gohan whispered.

"I know, Gohan," Goku replied, his voice gentle. "But this is the reality we live in. And if we're going to keep moving forward, we have to face it head-on."

For a moment, the two stood in silence, looking at the stars. Gohan felt the weight of his father's decision, and the heavy responsibility that now rested on their shoulders. It wasn't just about them anymore—this was about the future of their world, their universe.

After a long pause, Goku spoke again, his voice softer. "I know you'll be strong, Gohan. You've always been strong. Don't doubt that."

Gohan nodded, the fire in his chest slowly being replaced by determination. He didn't know what the future held, but he knew one thing: He wasn't going to give up. Not now, not ever.

"Yeah," Gohan said, his voice firm. "We'll all keep getting stronger. No matter what happens."

With a small smile, Goku patted his son on the back. "That's the spirit."

And with that, they both stood, staring out at the horizon. Whatever challenges lay ahead, they knew they would face them together. Because even though the future was uncertain, one thing was certain: The Son family would always stand together, no matter the odds.
