Mega Man

Backstory:

Rock Light was the second of Dr. Light's Robot Masters after Proto Man and one of the first robots to have truly human-like intelligence. He was initially designed to be a simple lab assistant and a surrogate child for the good doctor alongside Rock's sister unit, Roll. Space-Time Manipulation (Could resist getting hit with the Wily Star's Space-Time distorting Ion Cannon and Cut Man's space-cutting Rolling Cutter)

Weaknesses: Mega Man is powered by sunlight, so spending large amounts of time underground without an alternate source of power can be potentially dangerous, but this is usually a non-issue in most combat situations. His copied weapons have limited ammunition. Stacking Double Rock Buster and Power Gear, both of which are noted to put a lot of strain on Rock, would probably kill him.

Samus Aran (Metroid compilation)

Backstory:

The daughter of Rodney Aran and Virginia Aran, she lost her parents during a Space Pirate raid on her home of K-2L. Later, Samus was adopted by the mysterious Chozo and taken to Zebes, where she was infused with their DNA and raised to become a warrior.

Once she reached adulthood, Samus joined the Federation Police and served under the Commanding Officer Adam Malkovich. Though she ultimately left to become a Bounty Hunter, she was nonetheless hired by the Galactic Federation on many occasions. Equipped with her cybernetic Power Suit, Samus has become famous for accomplishing missions previously thought impossible.

Her most renowned achievements are the destruction of the Space Pirate base on Zebes, her role in ending the Galactic Phazon crisis, her repeated extermination of the Metroid species, and her disobedience of orders at the Biologic Space Laboratories research station where she chose to destroy the deadly X Parasites rather than turn them over to the Galactic Federation. Having received an infusion of Metroid DNA to save her from an X infection, Samus is now the last "Metroid" in the galaxy.

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics,

Enhanced Senses,

Acrobatics (Capable of preforming acrobatics pretty quickly after gaining Chozo DNA),

Adaptation (The primary consequence of her transfusion with Chozo DNA was to grant her an increase adaptability to her surroundings),

Martial Arts (Depicted as a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, even against large numbers of armed individuals),

Weapon Mastery & Vehicular Mastery (By now, has full control over her original power suit and gunship),

Transformation (Has the ability to activate her seemingly will the power suit into existence around her at any time and even specific parts of the suit such as the arm cannon),

Precognition via Sensemove,

Paralysis Inducement with the Paralyzer,

Energy Projection,

Absorption (Her suit actually absorbs most of the energy from attacks inflicted on Samus, with the various upgrades increasing the potency of the ability. Thanks to her genetic makeup now consisting of Metroid DNA, Samus is able to absorb freely roaming X Parasites, restoring health and ammunition),

Data Manipulation (Her Power Suit stores weapons and ammunition as data before they need to be used or absorb data and use them to gain abilities),

Power beam (ice, plasma, armor piercing, hyper((combined)), grapple),

Missiles,

Power bombs,

Limited Transmutation (Can transform the data of her weapons into their tangible forms and can shape weapons such as her missiles from the atmosphere),

limited Adhesive Manipulation (Stood on top a spaceship midflight without needing to grab onto anything),

Limited Attack Reflection (Managed to deflect several energy attacks from Space Pirates with just her suit),

Non-Standard Breathing (Type 2, capable of emerging herself underwater for an indefinite period of time, stated to have oxygen supply equipment and additional infrared vision within her suit in the Super Metroid Manual),

Small Size (Type 0) & Extrasensory Perception with Morph Ball (Reduced to over less than half her regular size in her Morph Ball form, also capable of perceiving the area around her despite not having any way of seeing them),

Statistics Amplification (Attack Potency, Lifting Strength, and Speed) with Charge Beam,

Power Grip, and Speed Booster (Capable of charging her beam to the extent of damaging foes that would regularly be immune to her normal power beam),

Explosion Manipulation via Missiles & Bombs, Homing Attack (With missiles and briefly shown with her even regular power beam),

limited solid Afterimage Creation with the Speed Booster (Becomes invulnerable to most attacks while in that state and creates "echoes" that deal physical damage to whatever they touch),

Invisibility with Phantom Cloak (Becomes entirely invisible, making her avoid the detection of even beings such as the E.M.M.I.).

Resistance to Mind Manipulation (Can resist mental attacks from Mother Brain), and Fire Manipulation (Completely unaffected by flamethrowers despite being the middle of the attack),

Gravity Manipulation & Acid Manipulation (Adapted to Zebes' extreme 960x gravity as a child and stated that only her allies would be injured from the acid rain of Crateria),

Self-Biological Manipulation (Absorbing the SA-X momentarily restored her DNA to a state that it was previous to the X-infection; begins self-repairing the suit back into the Legendary Suit),

has even greater Resistance to Cold (Now capable of wielding the Ice Beam and otherwise entirely removing the adverse effects of cold on Samus).

It is possible that the Unnamed Suit also gives Samus all of her previous abilities from the Legendary Suit, which includes: Non-Physical Interaction (Capable of killing Chozo Ghosts with her regular weaponry and even the dimensionally phasing Phazon Metroids),

possibly Reactive Evolution (Instead of dying or being corrupted, Samus' suit evolved when exposed to a sudden large amount of Phazon).

Resistance to Antimatter (Can survive in the Infinity Void, a parallel dimension of formless antimatter),

Cold (The Varia Suit offsets her weakness to subzero temperatures in Fusion and should provide comparable resistance to extreme cold otherwise),

even higher Heat (Capable of walking easily through superheated magma on Zebes),

Matter Manipulation (Endured having her atoms torn apart and destroyed in Samus and Joey).

Weaknesses: In her weaker forms, she has an extreme weakness to cold thanks to her Metroid DNA. The Varia and Gravity Suits mitigate this weakness and the Unnamed Suit removes it entirely.

Song: Mega Metroid

The night embraced the desolate city, cloaked in the shadows of silence. Samus Aran, the renowned bounty hunter, approached with caution, her eyes scanning the surroundings diligently. She gracefully leapt from the gunship, its top access panel opening, and activated her arm cannon, prepared for any unexpected encounter.

A brilliant beam of light pierced the night sky, illuminating the abandoned city with its presence. Emerging was Mega Man, the high-tech robot guardian, who locked eyes with Samus, tension filling the air between them. Almost instinctively, both assumed each other as enemies, weapons poised and ready for possible engagement.

Both warriors released their laser beams, igniting a clash of firepower in the darkened city. As the beams soared through the air, both fighters leaped and darted around each other, darting across buildings and alleys to maintain the upper hand. Suddenly, without warning, Mega Man leaped back, his blue hues transforming to a striking white and orange. In an instant, he unleashed the Hornet Chaser, deploying a swarm of mechanical hornets in a calculated attack.

The swarm of mechanical hornets attacked Samus, attempting to overpower her. But Samus responded swiftly, dispatching the attackers with a barrage of missiles fired from her body. Distracted by the hornet attack, she was unprepared for Mega Man's follow-up move, a powerful charged shot that launched her into a nearby wall, leaving her momentarily stunned.

The Blue Bomber transformed once more, changing his color scheme to white and blue and activating his Ice Slasher, unleashing a blast of ice with the intention of freezing Samus in place. However, Samus quickly reacted by charging up her blaster and firing, shattering the frozen prison and breaking free from her icy confinement against the wall.

Mega Man transformed once again, taking on an orange and yellow hue as he unleashed a scorching fire ball at Samus. However, the athletic Hunter swiftly evaded and returned fire with a stream of energy. Mega Man's Fire Storm's auto shielding proved resilient, protecting him. Undeterred, Samus switched her strategy, employing her freeze ray to not only cancel the fire shield but also to freeze Mega Man's feet in place.

Samus charged her power beam, preparing for a powerful attack. However, Mega Man responded by transforming into a yellow and bluish green hue, activating his Astro Crush ability. Meteors rained down from the sky, and the agile bounty hunter leaped into the air to dodge. As she maneuvered through the falling debris, her powerful screw attack maneuver allowed her to defy gravity and evade some of the projectiles. In an impressive display of athleticism, she managed to navigate the chaotic landscape as the shockwaves from the falling debris shattered the ice holding Mega Man's feet in place.

Mega Man shifted his colors into white and red, activating his Magnet Missile ability. He unleashed nine homing missiles in her direction. Despite her expert maneuvering with elusive zigzag maneuvers, the missiles eventually found their mark, exploding upon impact with Samus Aran. Unable to maintain her flight, she crashed onto a partially buried meteor, landing hard with a grunt of pain.

In a brilliant display of her abilities, Samus Aran countered with a rapid-fire barrage of missiles, filling the sky with an onslaught of projectiles. Mega Man responded valiantly, transforming into a yellow and brown hue and firing a swarm of Metal Blades in return, slicing through a significant number of the incoming missiles. One of the blades even sliced off one of her large shoulder pads, although Samus remained unscathed.

Samus took the offensive, utilizing her sling shot to ensnare Mega Man and swing him relentlessly into various buildings, inflecting extensive damage. In response, Mega Man quickly turned black and yellow, unleashing a bolt of lightning along the line, shocking Samus as she held on. However, his own actions led him to collide forcefully with a wall, suffering the consequences of his own attack.

Despite the setback, Mega Man quickly regained his footing and changed his color scheme to red and white, calling upon his Atomic Fire ability. He summoned a miniature sun ahead of his blaster, which he charged to its full power. Anticipating the intense blast, Samus Aran readied her plasma beam. As both attacks clashed, the scorching ball of fire clashed against the concentrated energy of the plasma beam. The plasma beam, fueled by its intense potency, sliced through the fiery inferno, poised to obliterate Mega Man in its path.

The Blue Bomber adapted quickly, his color scheme shifting to bright blue. He summoned a prismatic shield, surrounding himself like satellites. The plasma beam, once focused, now splintered, reflecting in various directions. Sensing her chance, Samus hurled a super missile at Mega Man, a wide area of effect attack. Despite his best efforts to dodge, the radius caught up with him, simultaneously dispelling the jewel satellites and causing the blue bomber's colors to revert to normal.

Mega Man found himself momentarily incapacitated, twitching with static energy radiating from him, after being hurled against a wall by Samus's metallic ball form. In a calculated move, Samus morphed into a metallic ball, using her momentum to forcefully impact him before swiftly rolling away. In her wake, a dropped bomb was inadvertently deployed, its ominous presence ready to explode.

He walked over to the bounty hunter, grabbing his bomb out of the air, and planted it on her orb form. The fighting robot jumped out of the way before time resumed, the bomb going off, and Samus unfurling into her normal form, but unaware she had a bomb planted on her back until it exploded, and made her face plant into the ground, cracking her visor.

Caught off guard, Samus punched the ground in frustration, promptly launching another super missile at Mega Man. Quick on his feet, Mega Man hastily shifted to a light and dark purple hue, activating a localized black hole. The surrounding area began to draw items, including the missile and Samus herself, toward its intense gravitational pull. Seizing the opportunity, Samus launched her fully charged annihilator shot and another super missile, intending to counteract the black hole's influence.

The arena trembled violently under the cataclysmic consequences of their clash, a city-wide explosion ripping through the air. Even as the impact sent shockwaves across the area, Samus Aran miraculously emerged unscathed, having managed to escape the blast zone entirely thanks to her suit's agility. With the aftermath of their battle settling, Samus stood victorious in the middle of a ravaged battlefield, ready to embrace the challenges that inevitably awaited her.

Strength: Mega Man and Samus Aran are some of the best fighters of their galaxy, but the bounty hunter had more to give offensively. Mega Man rivals the power of Sun Star, who can give a power output of 7 Exatons of TNT, his Double Gear system even bringing it to 14 Exatons. But while his weaponry may be enough to blow up small moons, Samus with her bombs can blow up planets, such a feat requiring around 4 Yottatons of TNT, which would be about 571,429X more powerful than the Blue Bomber, or 285,714.5X with the Double Gear System.

Speed: If Mega Man used the Rush Adaptor and Double Gear system simultaniously, he'd likely be reaching upwards of around over 4000X light speed, since Quick Man is said by Elec Man to be the fastest robot ever, including Rush traveling through space. However, Samus is estimated, scaling to Ripley, to move and react to 10 million times light speed, making Samus 2,500X faster.

Skill: This is a bit tricky to figure out. Samus is likely to have the military training to fight up close in close quarters combat, but we don't really see her do much of that, if at all, in her games. They're more likely to just shoot at each other, in which neither has the distinct advantage.

Experience: Mega Man is about 11 years old in his games, while Samus has been doing her thing from 9-32.

Powers: Mega Man certainly has the versatility advantage if not for that he only carries ten copied weapons in any given game. Though Samus has more ways to fight than any realistically limited Mega Man, and even then, has better weaponry. The Ice Slasher is -200 degrees, while Samus's ice beam can reach absolute zero, which is over twice as cold. Mega Man can reach hotter than the surface of the sun, but she can reach 300,000 times hotter than that, and she generally has a bigger weapon capacity than Mega Man, meaning he's always going to run out before she does. I have the next 100 battles mostly set out in a rigid assortment, but if Death Battle or Fan Battle inadvertendly makes me have to do a switch out, I'll do Samus again with Mega Man X to see who wins there.

The winner is Samus Aran.
