THE DEATH OF STORMAGEDDON THE CONQUEROR

*Author's Note - Spoiler... Ana's kitten does not die in this story... but now that you're wondering why this chapter still has the title you're seeing. I'm guessing you're a lot more intrigued by what this story could be about now. So... read, and enjoy trying to figure out what the heck is going on in this crazy tale...

Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair. They were a duo that shouldn't have worked... but they did... and somehow their relationship resulted in marriage. Now, Wednesday and Enid work at their old school: Nevermore Academy as teachers, raising up an entire new generation; including their own twin teenage daughters: Harmony and Ana. Harmony, who carries both of her mother's special abilities, continues to grow and explore the world with her girlfriend Megan. Ana meanwhile... is a different story...

One afternoon: Harmony Addams was walking around the court yard of Nevermore Academy, when she saw Ana's kitten sitting on the ground. Suddenly a small mouse began to walk near the two. Harmony giggled as she said, "Look Stormageddon the Conqueror. A mouse. You gonna catch it or something?" Then suddenly Ana's kitten turned it's head, shot glowing red lasers out of it's eyes, and caused the mouse to be vaporized. Then a robotic voice from Ana's kitten said, "Target is neutralized." Then a wide eyed and freaked out Harmony jumped back as she screamed, "Waaaaa!? Ana's cat is a killer robot!" Then a giggling Ana walked over to Harmony from nearby as she said, "Aw, just relax Harmony. That robot there isn't the real Stormageddon the Conqueror. The real Stormageddon the Conqueror went on a business trip with mother, since it seemed like he needed a chance of scenery." A very confused looking Harmony then said, "Wait a minute. Your cat is on vacation... so you replaced him with a robot duplicate? Why would you do that!?"

Then a small group of students walked by and all waved to Ana's kitten while one of them said, "Hey Stormageddon the Conqueror." Then a casual sounding Ana glanced at Harmony as she said, "That's why. Stormageddon the Conqueror is like a mascot for this school. He may not be the central focus of every adventure people here experience; but if he doesn't show up every now and then, things just don't feel right." Then suddenly Wednesday walked into the court yard with her head hung low. Ana then ran over to Wednesday as she said, "Hey mother. How was the business trip? By the way... where's Stormageddon the Conqueror?" Wednesday looked at Ana with a serious face as she said, "Ana... there's something you need to know...

Many individuals dressed in black were walking towards a cemetery, while a television news crew set up outside the cemetery. As a female news reporter stood in front of a camera, she said, "We're coming to you live at Jericho Cemetery, where hundreds of gathered to mourn the loss of local personality and celebrity: Stormageddon the Conqueror. As many know, Stormageddon the Conqueror was a cat owned by local Nevermore Academy Student: Ana Addams - daughter of Nevermore Academy teachers: Enid and Wednesday Addams. Stormageddon the Conqueror over his brief life had become a beloved fixture in the community through his various businesses, artistic endeavors, and charities he was associated with. Needless to say... he will indeed be missed by all."

Meanwhile: Wednesday, Enid, Harmony, and Megan were walking towards the cemetery together. As the four walked together, a sad looking Megan said, "I'm really gonna miss Stormageddon the Conqueror. He was so wonderful during all of those therapy sessions I had with him. He always had just the best advice to give." Then a confused looking Harmony said, "Wait! How can a cat be a therapist?" Then a casual sounding Megan said, "With great empathy of course." Enid made a little smile as she said, "I'm gonna miss that kitten's jokes. He always knew how to pick just the right words to make me laugh." A more confused Harmony raised one eyebrow as she said, "What!?" Then Wednesday kept straight face as she said, "I will personally miss my regular fencing matches I had with him. Ana's cat was undoubtedly the finest opponent I ever dueled." Then a very confused Harmony widened her eyes as she said, "What do you mean you had regular duels with him!? How is that even possible!?" Then Megan glared at Harmony as she said, "Quiet Harmony. This is a funeral; not a party."

Then Wednesday and Enid sat together at the front of the crowd which was gathered for the funeral, while Harmony and Megan sat down next to their friends: Sophia and Emmy. Sophia glanced at Harmony as she said, "I'm so sorry for the loss your family is dealing with Harmony. You know... I really owe Stormageddon the Conqueror a lot for solving that situation I had with that stalker." Then Emmy made a little smile as she said, "I'll always remember how proud I was for him when his first music album was released. His songs were so inspirational." Harmony now looked very frustrated and extremely confused as she said, "What is going on here!? What did I miss!?"

Then suddenly Ana walked onto a stage, and stood behind a podium as she looked at the large gathered crowd. Ana looked down, took a deep breath, and then looked at everyone as she said, "Good afternoon everyone. It's a bit overwhelming accepting the recent tragedy that's occurred within my family... but it's also wonderful to see so many of you gathered here; as your presence alone proves how much of a difference Stormageddon the Conqueror made in so many people's lives. I for one will never forget the day I first met him... abandoned in the woods, without anyone or anything to care for him. I may never know how Stormageddon the Conqueror came to those woods all alone... but I learned so much about him in the time we had after that fateful encounter. We went on so many adventures together battling Canadian Ninja Rabbits, finding lost treasures buried deep in the Pyramids of Wyoming, and other dangerous adventures that my lawyer has advised I don't speak about in public. But now... the adventures with him are no more..."

Ana then stopped talking like she was about to cry... but then composed herself as she said, "Fortunately though... Stormageddon the Conqueror's love for the community will live on, as the mayor has just informed me that the Jericho County Recreation Center will forever have it's name changed to the Stormageddon the Conquer Recreation Center. Also, the town government has just put a new law in place to ensure that pictures which showcase all of Stormageddon the Conqueror's activities he did for the orphan's summer camp last year: will stay on the walls of the center indefinitely. Now everyone will forever remember the greatest artist, dancer, motivational speaker, and police deputy this town has ever known. Stormageddon the Conqueror... you truly will always remain in our hearts." Then everyone in the crowd clapped... except for a very confused Harmony who said, "When did Ana's cat do all these things? How did he do all these things!?"

That evening, Ana was sitting on her bed looking at a framed picture of her cat in her hands. Ana made a long sigh, as Harmony was sitting in a chair nearby. Harmony then stood up and said, "Hey. I'm gonna go get some food from the restaurant. You wanna come with me?" Ana turned her head away as she said, "Na. I'd rather stay here for now." Then Harmony with hesitation in her face left the room. However once Harmony was just several steps out of her room... suddenly three figures grabbed Harmony, put a bag on her head, and dragged her away.

Harmony sat tied to a chair, with a bag over her head in a dark room as she said, "Hey! What's going on?" Then the bag was pulled off Harmony's head, and then Harmony saw standing before her were three men in black cat suits (complete with fake cat ears) that glared at Harmony with angry faces. Harmony now looked very confused as she said, "Umm... what's going on?" One of the cat men immediately said, "We have come to verify if the cat you call Stormageddon the Conqueror has indeed passed away, and retrieve his collar he was found with when first adopted by your sister." Harmony continued to look confused as she said, "Why do you need that? Also... who are you people!?" Then one of the cat men proudly said, "We are servants of the Cat Kingdom. And we have been searching so long now for our long lost prince. You call him Stormageddon the Conqueror. However, we know him as Prince Kakaluka!"

A wide eyed and freaked out Harmony, then yelled, "Waaaaa!? Ana's cat was a prince!?" One of the cat men then angerly said, "More than a prince. When he came of age, he was supposed to use his mystical abilities to help our people find the lost land of Tra-la-la. However... fate has taken Prince Kakaluka from us. The only way we have any chance of finding our promised land is if we obtain the lost mystic collar our prince once wore." Then a nervous looking Harmony said, "Hey. If all you guys want is a collar, I'll talk to my sister. Heck, why don't you guys just talk to her?" One of the cat men then yelled, "No! We cannot let more outsiders know of our people than necessary. Only you can obtain the mystical artifact that shall save our kind Harmony Addams." Harmony groaned, and then said, "Okay, okay. I'll help you people."

Harmony was walking down a hallway in Nevermore Academy as she said to herself, "This has been one really confusing day." Then suddenly a red-head female teenager stepped out of a closet, and then dragged Harmony into it. As Harmony looked confused, she said, "What's going on now?" The red-head girl then angerly said, "Harmony Addams, my name is Chelsea Hunt. And both me and my little cat: Miss Cuddles have some important questions to ask you." Then suddenly a white female cat jumped on Chelsea's shoulder, and hissed at Harmony. Harmony backed up as she nervously said, "Okay. What is it you want?" Then Chelsea glared at Harmony as she said, "Miss Cuddles just wants what she's owed... like the rare collar my family gave to Stormageddon the Conqueror. You see, my pet cat here... was the fiancé of Stormageddon the Conqueror." Harmony's eyes suddenly got very wide as she yelled, "Waaaaa!? Ana's cat had fiancé!?" Chelsea turned her head to the side, with tears in her eyes as she said, "Oh yes. They may have been very young, but Miss Cuddles had given her heart to Stormageddon the Conqueror, and plans were put in place for them to marry. But then on their wedding day... Stormageddon the Conqueror ran away, starting a new life for himself with a new owner. Miss Cuddles' heart has never been the same since." Then Chelsea's cat made sad meowing noises.

Then Chelsea looked at Harmony desperately as she said, "My family gave Stormageddon the Conqueror that collar as a wedding gift. But now that he's gone... Miss Cuddles would just like it back... since it's all she has left from the love of her life now." Then Harmony began to look nervous as she said, "Well... um... you see there are these cat people who claim Ana's kitten was actually their prince, and said that the collar was some mystical thing they needed." Then Chelsea rolled her eyes and said, "Oh. You mean the people Frank sent. Uggh. You see there was this other female cat down the street that used to like Stormageddon the Conqueror too. But it was totally a one sided relationship. However that tramp's owner must be jealous and trying to get the collar for their cat too. Look, their cat was never engaged to Stormageddon the Conqueror, or loved him like Miss Cuddles did. Please Harmony Addams... you have to help me get that collar back. Miss Cuddles and me would be eternally grateful if you did!" Then Harmony gave an exhausted sigh, and then said, "Okay. I'll see what I can do."

Harmony was walking down into the basement of one of the buildings at Nevermore Academy as she said to herself, "Okay. After Ana crammed too much stuff in her room, mother let her use one of the vaults here as one of her extra closets. So since that collar wasn't in our dorm room, it must be here." Then suddenly three men in brown coats jumped out and pushed Harmony into a wall, while one of them said, "All right! Show us where your sister's cat's collar is hiding!" Harmony groaned, and with a frustrated tone said, "Okay. So who are you guys supposed to be?" One of the men in brown coats then said, "We are time travelers from the future, representing the Time Variance Authority. It's a secret organization that works to maintain the sacred timeline. But one of our operatives went rogue and has been hiding in this time period for months. We knew him as Kitty Klaw, but you knew him... as Stormageddon the Conqueror." A wide eyed and surprised Harmony then yelled, "Waaaaa!? Ana's cat was a rogue time traveler from the future!?" One of the men in brown coats then said, "Correct. And that special collar of his had rare time crystals in it that we need to restore the sacred timeline. We need them now!" Then suddenly the Cat Men jumped out of a corner, as one of them said, "No. The collar of Prince Kakaluka is ours!" Then suddenly Chelsea jumped out of a corner with her white cat yelling, "No! That collar belongs to Miss Cuddles!" Then a cranky, frustrated, and freaked out Harmony yelled, "What the heck is going on!?"

Then suddenly everyone heard Ana say, "The truth is they all work for me." Then everyone turned their heads and saw Ana walk into the room. Everyone near Harmony then suddenly got on their knees and bowed to Ana, as one of the Cat Men said, "Greetings Great Crime Empress." Then Harmony looked at Ana with a very freaked out face as she yelled, "Waaaaa!? Ana is your Great Crime Empress!?" Then Ana made a sly grin as she said, "The truth is Harmony, all of these stories my minions here have told you today were complete lies. You see, Stormageddon the Conqueror had been running a crime syndicate for quite some time, with me as his right hand leader." Then a very confused Harmony said, "Waaaaa!? Your cat was a crime boss!? Okay, I don't know what's even real anymore!"

Ana smirked as she said, "Indeed. Our crime empire was vast with multiple branches. We had employed a few outside gangs to work for us, promising them that they would get their proper cut of our great fortune. But once Stormageddon the Conqueror died, all of our minions here tried tricking you into letting them into my vault. The hope was they could trick you with their false stories, and then they would get all of the riches for themselves." Then one of the Cat Men said, "But my Cat Gang deserves it. People always underestimate us due to our bizarre clothing, but we have proudly robbed over a hundred banks all over the world. We've worked hard. That fortune is ours!" Then Chelsea angerly said, "Well I've been working smarter, not harder; and have stolen billions of dollars in crypto currency for years now. Only a genius like mine deserves that fortune." Then one of the men in brown coats yelled, "Naw! Me and my gangster boys have been making backroom deals with politicians for decades; including the current mayor. We're the real people running this town, so that fortune is ours."

Then Ana smirked as she said, "People, people! You all can share at getting what's coming to you together. Now Harmony... open up the vault for us." Harmony looked very tired as she said, "You know what? I don't even understand anything anymore. Sure. Whatever." Then Harmony opened the door to the vault, as everyone stepped very close to the door... but then suddenly fifty police officers ran out of the vault with guns pointed forward as they yelled, "Freeze!" The Cat Men, Chelsea, and Brown Coat Men put their hands in the air, while one of the Gangster Men said, "Darn it! This was a set up!" Then a man in a black trench coat walked into the room as he said, "I'm with the FBI, and all you local and international criminals are under arrest! Good job luring them here Ana." Ana made a big smile as she said, "Always happy to help take down criminals with you boys." Then a wide eyed and confused Harmony said, "Waaaaa!? This was all a set up to capture some criminals!? I... I... I need to lay down." Then Harmony suddenly fell down and fainted on the floor.

Harmony was sitting up in her bed with Ana, as the two were talking in their dorm room. Harmony took a deep breath, and then said "So let me get this straight... the FBI helped you pretend you were some big crime boss, in an attempt to help lure real criminals towards you?" Ana smiled as she said, "Yeah. I lured them towards me with the promise of great fortune. The hope was that they could eventually be caught admitting the crimes they had previously committed... which they eventually did with over fifty people in law enforcement right behind the vault door hearing everything. So now they're going to jail forever!" Harmony breathed a sigh of relief, and then said, "Well I'm so glad to know all those crazy stories they told me weren't true, and I'm also glad you're not really some Great Crime Empress. However... it's too bad Stormageddon the Conqueror didn't get to be here for all of this. I mean everyone kept talking about him, and... it felt wrong that he didn't get to be on this crazy adventure with us. It's sad he's gone now." Then Ana casually said, "Oh, Stormageddon the Conqueror's death... yeah, that was all a lie too. He's just fine. Come on in Stormageddon the Conqueror!"

Then Ana's kitten walked into the room and made a happy meowing sound. Then a wide eyed and very confused Harmony said, "Waaaaa!? Your cat was never really dead!?" Then Ana smirked as she said, "Of course not. The whole funeral thing was all part of a set up to make all those criminals think I would be too confused and distraught to stop them. Plus, by having that funeral where we all said those crazy things Stormageddon the Conqueror had done: we knew it would cause those criminals to think my cat here was some super cat or something, and thus they'd assume the great fortune we promised them would be even bigger than it really was. It was actually all mother's idea. She had mom, and some of our friends in on the scheme; but we didn't tell you knowing the criminals would likely try to use you to get to the alleged fortune."

Harmony looked relieved as she said, "Oh God, that's a relief to hear. I thought I was going crazy. I mean I knew all those crazy stories people were sharing had to be made up. I mean those were some really crazy fantasies you made up when you talked about your cat leading a summer camp for orphans, being a police deputy, battling ninja rabbits, going to the Pyramids of Wyoming..." Then Ana suddenly looked angry as she yelled, "Hey! Only half those stories we shared were fake. Stormageddon the Conqueror is a very talented and accomplished individual, and you should respect that!" Then Ana's kitten jumped on Ana's shoulder, and hissed at Harmony. Then as Ana and her cat left the room, a confused Harmony loudly said, "Wait Ana! Which of those stories were part of the half that were fake? I need to know! Ana! I need to know!"

*Author's Note - Welcome to the new era of this series! The era in which Wednesday and Enid's children: Harmony and Ana are now finally taking the full center stage! For those that miss Wednesday and Enid though; don't worry. They'll still be around! As for this specific story... sometimes pressure can be a good thing. Originally I was going to take a break this week and have a special story written by multiple guest writers open up this new era. However there was a delay that occurred in the project that I eventually decided not to rush. So because I didn't want my faithful readers to go a week without a new story... I quickly wrote the crazy tale you all just read in two hours... the fastest I've ever written a story for this series! Also, in spite of the pressure I put on myself... this was the most fun I've ever had writing anything! Hope you all got the same fun feel I had while writing it.

Starting next week though, we begin a fun set of stories with contributions from guest writers. Hopefully by then we'll have ready for you all: a very fun and experimental "Guest Writers Takeover" tale. After that, I actually have several more stories that my guest writing friends have already started working on (although I do plan to help co-write those stories). There is so much talent in the Wednesday fan community, and I am so honored to bring to you all the talents of these other amazing writers! We have some really fun stories coming up featuring Harmony and Ana, and I hope you all find the daughters of Wednesday and Enid to be just as entertaining as their mothers!
