Another time... another place...

A six year old girl named Kaitlyn Kramer walked into her elementary school one morning. Kaitlyn had blonde hair, wore a long pink dress, and kept black gloves on her hands. She soon entered the classroom, and walked by her young female teacher as she said, "Good morning Mrs Mally." The teacher gave Kaitlyn a brief wave and then focused back on some work she had. Kaitlyn then sat a desk, which was marked as her own (due to a big sticker with her name on it being attached to the desk). Kaitlyn then glanced at everybody in the room, and turned her head wondering where her best friend was. Soon Kaitlyn's female best friend walked into the room wearing a red and white dress, while having her hair tied in two pigtails. Kaitlyn excitedly waved as she said, "Hi Melissa!" As Melissa sat down next to Kaitlyn, she said, "Hi Kaitlyn. How you doing?" A happy Kaitlyn then said, "I'm fine."

Then Kaitlyn and Melissa's conversation was interrupted by their teacher saying, "Good morning everybody. I want you all open your spelling books and copy these words I'm about to write on the board." Everyone in the class got out their books and began writing words down. Kaitlyn then quickly copied her words down... but after a moment, she slowly took off her gloves. Kaitlyn then waved her hand in front of her, and began to see colors emitting from the bodies of every person in the room. Kaitlyn saw colors of both light and dark shades emitting from every person in the room... except for Melissa, whose body emitted only a pure white light. Kaitlyn smiled as she quickly put her gloves back on. Very quickly, Kaitlyn could no longer see colors coming from anyone's body.

At lunch in the school cafeteria Kaitlyn and Melissa were sitting together at the far end of a lunch table where no one else was. As Kaitlyn began to eat pieces of an apple with a fork, she casually said, "And so I've always wondered: what would happen if Mooses became Super Mooses and got like lightning powers. Wouldn't that be awesome?" Melissa with a big smile, giggled as she said, "Hee, hee. You're so silly Kaitlyn." Kaitlyn smiled back as she said, "Why thank you."

At recess time, Kaitlyn and Melissa were both sitting in a small patch of flowers away from most of the other students that were playing other types of outdoor games. As Melissa picked the flowers very slowly off the ground she said, "Do you ever wonder why flowers look so pretty?" Kaitlyn looked right at Melissa as she said, "I wonder what would happen if flowers could shoot lasers from their stems." Melissa began to giggle again as she said, "You're so silly Kaitlyn." Kaitlyn smiled as she said, "Thanks for always saying I'm silly Melissa... especially when most people call me names that are mean. So... are you still coming over to my house this afternoon?" Melissa nodded her head up and down as she said, "Mommy said it was okay." Then Kaitlyn excitedly said, "Great. I know you'll love the flowers that are on my house's side yard. Everyone loves them. Then the two heard a loud bell grabbed. Melissa then quickly grabbed Kaitlyn's hand as she said, "Come on Kaitlyn. Lets walk inside together." Melissa then held Kaitlyn's hand as the two walked back to class together.

In the side yard of Kaitlyn's house, Kaitlyn was sitting on the ground as Melissa ran around in circles around Kaitlyn with her arms spread out while saying, "Look at me. I'm flying around the whole wide world!" Kaitlyn smiled as she said, "You are the whole world Melissa!" Then Melissa stopped running, and began to spin slightly as she said, "Whoa! Real dizzy." Then Melissa fell down right next to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and Melissa then laid on the grass together looking into each other's eyes eyes silently for a moment. Then Kaitlyn finally broke the silence as she said, "I love you Melissa." Melissa made a big smile as she said, "I love you too Kaitlyn." Then Melissa moved her face forward, and suddenly kissed Kaitlyn on the lips. Once Melissa moved her face away, all the two girls could do was smile at one another. Then Kaitlyn took off her black gloves, waved her hands in front of Melissa... and smiled. A curious Melissa then said, "What do you see coming from me?" As Kaitlyn waved her hand over Melissa, she said, "I see... the purest shade of white I have ever seen from anyone in the world."

Then suddenly the two heard a male voice yell, "Melissa!" Kaitlyn and Melissa turned their heads and saw a man in a business suit walking towards them. The man then grabbed Melissa by the hand as he said, "What have I told you about hanging out at the homes of outcasts!?" Then a confused Melissa said, "But Kaitlyn is my friend daddy; and you told me I should be friends with all kinds of people at school." Melissa's father then looked very angry as he said, "I said to be friends with people... not outcasts. Uggh." Then Melissa's dad began to pull Melissa away. As she was pulled away though, Melissa turned back to Kaitlyn and waved at her... while looking very sad. Kaitlyn had a sad look in her eyes as she waved back. Once Melissa was out of sight, Kaitlyn tilted her head down... and then tears began to come from her eyes.

*Four Years Later:

Ten year old Kaitlyn Kramer was sitting in her middle school writing class one morning. A young female teacher stood in front of the class as she said, "And remember, those essays due on Friday have to be at least 1500 words!" Many students in the class grumbled as the bell rang. As many students began to leave the classroom, an excited Kaitlyn approached her teacher while saying, "I really liked class today Miss Blair. The short stories you shared were so interesting." Miss Blair smiled as she said, "Why thank you Kaitlyn. I do try to make this class as interesting as it can be." A happy Kaitlyn then said, "You know... I do lots of writing outside of class. Just fictional creative stuff." A curious Miss Blair then said, "Really? What kind of stuff do you write?" An excited Kaitlyn then said, "Mostly fan-fiction based on stuff by my favorite author. Have you ever read any of the books by Wednesday Addams?" Miss Blair had a happy smile on her face as she said, "I do. Her book series about teenage detective: Viper de la Muerte are a favorite of mine."

Then an excited Kaitlyn said, "Yeah, those are good. But I really love her autobiography books about her life as a teenager at Nevermore Academy, and her later books about marrying a werewolf and having two twins kids together. They are just so cool. Even though they're real... I like writing imaginary adventures for them to go on, and how much cooler their family could be if they adopted other outcast kids with special abilities." Miss Blair chuckled as she said, "Well that sounds like it could be fun. I'd be interested in reading those stories some time." Then with a very innocent and straight forward tone, Kaitlyn asked, "When?" Miss Blair suddenly had an unsure look on her face as she said, "Well... how about we wait until the semester settles down a bit?" Kaitlyn nodded her her head as she said, "Okay." Then Kaitlyn picked up her books and backpack, and began to leave the classroom.

The next morning, Kaitlyn walked into the school early. With no other students around, Kaitlyn decided to walk over to the school library early. However as she did, Kaitlyn found herself walking by the principal's office, and heard the school principal and another teacher talking. Kaitlyn immediately heard the teacher saying, "Principal Matthews, I just don't see why the foreign language department hasn't received the supplies we asked for months ago." Principal Matthews then angerly said, "And I told you, the school doesn't have enough money in the budget right now." The teacher sighed, and then said, "Look, I'm not sure if I should tell you this... but there's a rumor going around saying you've taken a considerable amount of money from the school budget for your own personal finances... and if teachers keep not getting the supplies they ordered, people are going to start thinking that's true." Principal Matthews then put on a smile as he said, "Of course that's not true. Look. I'll make sure to share all the school's financial records with you in a few days, and prove this is all a simple misunderstanding."

Kaitlyn meanwhile stood near the door the principal's office, as she carefully listened to everything. Upon hearing foot steps coming towards the office door, Kaitlyn quickly stepped away. Principal Matthews then walked out of his office, and then glanced at Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn tried to look uninterested in the adult before her, as she casually waved while saying, "Good morning Principal Matthews." Principal Matthews nodded his head, and then walked past Kaitlyn. As he walked away though: Kaitlyn took off her glove, looked at Principal Matthews walking away, waved her hand... and had a troubled look in her eyes at what she saw.

In her classroom, Miss Blair was writing her daily plan on the board when suddenly Kaitlyn walked in. Miss Blair looked confused as she said, "Hello Kaitlyn. What are you doing here? You don't have writing class during first period." Kaitlyn however looked at Miss Blair with a troubled face as she said, "Well... it's just... I believe Principal Matthews is stealing money that belongs to the school." Miss Blair quickly gave Kaitlyn her full attention as she said, "That's a pretty bold statement to make. What leads you to believe that Kaitlyn?" Kaitlyn took a deep breath... and then said, "I saw Principal Matthews talking to another teacher about money in the school budget. The teacher was concerned the money for the school wasn't going to where it needed to be... and I could see Principal Matthews was lying in his response to them." Miss Blair then crossed her arms as she said, "And how could you tell that?"

Kaitlyn, sighed... and then held up her hand as she said, "I sort of... used my psychic abilities to scan his aura." Miss Blair put on a surprised face as she said, "Oh. Kaitlyn, I didn't realize that..." Kaitlyn immediately cut off her teacher as she said, "You don't have to act like you don't know Miss Blair. I know every teacher of mine gets a file all about me before the school year begins. I know that you know I'm an outcast with unique psychic abilities, and I'm not supposed to take my gloves off in class and use the abilities to somehow advance myself over my peers. However... class hadn't begun, so I used my abilities to scan Principal Matthews' aura... and I saw all these dark red lights coming from his body... and that always means someone is doing some serious lying." Miss Blair sat down, made a deep long sigh... and then looked at Kaitlyn as she said, "Well I don't see what you want me to do about this." Kaitlyn then stepped towards her teacher as she said, "Well as a student I can't do much. Also, I know any type of vision an outcast gets isn't admissible in court. But can't you start asking the right questions, and file the right paperwork to look into this?" Miss Blair stood silent for a moment... and then said, "Okay." Kaitlyn looked at her teacher silently for a moment... and then left the classroom.

Later that day, Kaitlyn was sitting in her history class - when over an intercom, a voice said, "Kaitlyn Kramer, please report to the principal's office." Kaitlyn then got up as she heard the sounds of students around her making instant rumors through their whispers. Kaitlyn then slowly walked down the hallway to the principal's office. Upon reaching the office, Kaitlyn immediately saw Principal Matthews sitting at his desk while he said, "Please sit down Kaitlyn." Kaitlyn then slowly sat down. Principal Matthews however then stood up, shut the door to the office, and then sat back down himself.

Principal Matthews then put on a very angry face as he said, "Listen up you outcast. You must think you're so much better than the rest of us because you can see pretty colors surrounding us that nobody else can." Kaitlyn began to look afraid as she said, "But I..." Then Principal Matthews hit his desk with a closed fist while saying, "If you ever try a stunt like you just did again, I'll make sure that passing any class you're in quickly becomes very difficult for you; and if any student let alone trips on your foot in this school, you will find a lot of trigger happy police coming into this building who are eager to take down a dangerous outcast. Have I made myself clear!?" Kaitlyn was suddenly near tears as she nodded her head. Then Principal Matthews stood up, and opened the door to his office. Kaitlyn quickly got up and left the office.

However Kaitlyn had only been walking in the hallway for half a minute when she saw Miss Blair walking towards her while holding a box in her hands. A concerned Kaitlyn ran up to her as she said, "Miss Blair! I was just with Principal Matthews and he..." However Miss Blair only glanced at Kaitlyn as she said, "Goodbye Kaitlyn." Then Miss Blair left the building with her box, and headed straight to her car. Kaitlyn tilted her head down... and then tears began to come from her eyes.

*Five Years Later:

Fifteen year old Kaitlyn Kramer was sitting in the park while eating some food, and reading a book. Suddenly a group of teenage girls in fancy clothes began to walk past Kaitlyn. The leader of the group then looked at Kaitlyn with disgust as she said, "Eww. What are you doing here outcast. Weren't your kind banned from the park." Kaitlyn glared forward as she said, "I'm only banned from using my powers in certain places. I'm allowed to sit in the park though." Then the lead teenage girl said, "Well we don't want you waving your hands around and reading our minds and invading our privacy." Kaitlyn rolled her eyes as she said, "I read auras. Not minds. All it means is I can tell what someone's mood is, or if they're hiding or lying about something... which you should be very afraid of, considering I totally know you've been cheating on your captain of the football team boyfriend with Stacy Lipkowitz who plays on the girls lacrosse team." The lead teenage girl looked angry as she said, "That's defamation! You're spreading lies with your powers!" Kaitlyn began to look very angry as she said, "I didn't use my powers to do anything! I live next door to Stacy. Next time you go to her place for your secret make out sessions, be sure to close the curtains in her bedroom." The lead teenage girl then looked very angry... and marched away as her friends followed her.

Kaitlyn looked very frustrated as she tried to get back to reading her book and eating her food. However suddenly Kaitlyn heard a meowing sound. Kaitlyn turned her head and saw a dirty brown female cat walking towards her. Kaitlyn then put on a smile as she said, "Oh. Hey there kitty. You look like a sad homeless cat. Do you need some food?" The female cat started to slowly move towards Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn held out part of her sandwich as she said, "Here. It's just a fruit sandwich made of stuff that's healthy for people and cats. Come on. You don't look like a feral kind of cat. You can trust me." The cat then brought itself close to Kaitlyn... and began to eat Kaitlyn's sandwich.

Kaitlyn then took off her gloves, and began to pet the cat. As she did this, Kaitlyn smiled while saying, "Hi there. I'm Kaitlyn. If you can't tell... I'm an outcast. I have psychic powers that cause me to see special colors around people when I take my gloves off. When I was a kid, I had many friends that would glow very bright colors when I looked at them with my gloves off. However now... whenever I take off my gloves, everyone has dark colors around them... except you little kitty. You're the only individual I've met in a long time that's a pure bright light." The female cat then rubbed its' body against Kaitlyn while purring. Kaitlyn giggled a bit as she said, "I'm glad you like me too. You know I heard it's going to be a heavy rain tonight. You wanna come home with me? I'll have to hide you from my parents... but I think we can pull it off." The female cat made a happy meowing sound. Kaitlyn then picked up the cat as she said, "Great. Lets go."

Kaitlyn was walking towards her home carrying the female cat, when suddenly she stopped walking as she noticed a car in the driveway of her home. Kaitlyn then opened up her bag as she said, "Quick kitty. Get in the bag. My dad is home, and... well... lets just say, when he's not home: I run into the house as fast I can, hoping I can get to my room before he shows up. However when he is home... I walk very slowly to the front door." The female cat then got into Kaitlyn's bag. Kaitlyn closed the bag most of the way as she said, "Now be quiet, please!" Kaitlyn then walked towards the front door of her home very slowly. Kaitlyn then slowly opened the door of her house as she heard the voices of her mom and dad in another room nearby. Kaitlyn then very quickly ran up the stairs to her second floor bedroom, and quickly locked her bedroom door once she was in there.

Kaitlyn began to hear the voice of her father yelling, while she slowly opened up her bag. The female cat stepped out of the bag, while Kaitlyn said, "Sorry for running up the stairs so fast kitty. I just would rather avoid my dad seeing me when I come in the house. He yells a lot at my mom... and at me sometimes. I usually don't like inviting people over because I don't want them to hear all my dad's yelling... but I suppose having a roof over my head with yelling under it, is better than being outside in a storm." Kaitlyn then laid down on her bed, as the female cat then gently sat on top of Kaitlyn. As Kaitlyn held the cat close, she said, "You know kitty... there's this really cool author I like named Wednesday Addams. She's written cool stories about her life over the years, and I've seen pictures of this really cool family she has. When I was little, I would write these little stories where I would pretend to be part of her amazing family... but now I'm old enough to know that could never happen. It's just the way life is." Kaitlyn then closed her eyes as both she and the cat began to fall asleep together.

A few hours later, Kaitlyn woke up as a storm started outside. Kaitlyn then sat up, as the female cat jumped off of her. As Kaitlyn rubbed her stomach she said, "God, I'm hungry... and you must be too Kitty. Stay here. I'll get us some food." Kaitlyn then slowly crept out of her room and towards the kitchen. As Kaitlyn entered the kitchen, she heard her father in a nearby room yelling, "It's all your fault!" Kaitlyn then crept to the door to the other room, as she heard her mother say, "How is it my fault!?" Kaitlyn's father then screamed, "You didn't tell me you were a freaking outcast with psychic powers when I married you! Now I have a freaking outcast daughter that the entire community hates! And because of that, I was fired from my job!" Kaitlyn's mother then calmly said, "Dear, I think you're confused. I'm sure it was because you were late to work so many times that..."

Then suddenly the sound of Kaitlyn's mother being smacked in the head could be heard, as Kaitlyn's father screamed, "Stop acting like I've committed a crime woman! You're the one who lied about who you are! It's you damn outcasts that ruin life for all of us!" Kaitlyn could then hear the sound of her mother being hit over and over. Then with no other thoughts going through hear head, Kaitlyn found herself running into the other room and punching her father in the face as hard as she could. Kaitlyn's father took a few steps back... but then quickly punched Kaitlyn in the face as he yelled, "Go to your room your filthy outcast!" Kaitlyn fell down on the ground with tears in her eyes. Then Kaitlyn quickly ran up to her room, put several belongings in her backpack, and then grabbed the female cat as she said, "We're getting out of here kitty. I think the storm is looking a lot safer than this home right now." Then Kaitlyn while holding the cat tight, ran out of her house and down the side of the road as fast as she could.

Several hours later, Kaitlyn was sitting alone in the booth of a fast food restaurant. Kaitlyn was feeding small bits of a burger to her cat, while slurping on a drink she had. Kaitlyn made a short sigh, and then said, "Well kitty... I have enough money for us to have... three and a half meals. But after that... I don't know what to do." Kaitlyn then noticed a pay phone nearby. Kaitlyn made a sigh as she walked over to the pay phone, and then put some money in it. Kaitlyn dialed a number... and then heard her mother's voice say, "Hello?" Kaitlyn cleared her throat and said, "Mom... it's Kaitlyn." Kaitlyn's mother then quickly said, "Kaitlyn!? Where are you? Are you... Look... I'm sorry about what happened. Your father... he's just confused and hurt from losing his job, and..." With tears in her face, Kaitlyn said, "Am I supposed to just pretend what he did to me didn't just happen!?"

Kaitlyn's mother then pleaded, "Kaitlyn... look... we just have to let this pass. There... there's not much we can do." Then a sad Kaitlyn said, "But aren't there support groups or programs out there to help people in this kind of situation?" Kaitlyn's mother then began to cry as she said, "Not for outcasts like us. Please Kaitlyn... this is the best that life could give us. I don't need anyone else's help. I just need you. I just want you to come home. So can you?" As more tears appeared in her eyes: Kaitlyn sniffled a bit, and then said, "Okay. I will." Then Kaitlyn hung up the phone, walked over to her cat, and then said, "Come on Kitty. We're leaving." Then Kaitlyn picked up her cat, walked out of the restaurant... and then walked in the opposite direction of her home.

Kaitlyn ran through the storm while holding her cat in her hands. Soon, Kaitlyn came across an abandoned warehouse. Kaitlyn rushed inside the abandoned warehouse. As her cat looked for a soft corner to sit in, a sad looking Kaitlyn said, "It's okay kitty. We'll be safe here. Well... more safe than we were at my home... which I guess isn't my home anymore. But um... I think we'll be okay here tonight." Kaitlyn then laid on the ground, as she used her backpack as a pillow. As the female cat moved into a dark corner, a smiling Kaitlyn said, "Good night kitty."

The next morning Kaitlyn woke up to an unexpected sound... the sound of a newborn kitten. Kaitlyn then opened her eyes and immediately saw the female cat was nursing a very tiny newborn kitten. Kaitlyn had a big smile on her face as she said, "Kitty! You were pregnant the whole time! Well now I can see why you looked just a little bit chubby for a homeless cat. It's sort of weird you only had one kitten, but I guess that's not unheard of." As Kaitlyn gently pet the female feline, the mother cat purred. Kaitlyn then stood up as she said, "You know the local bakeries always have extra bread they toss out at the end of the day, and I've seen the grocery stores toss out milk that's about the expire. Plus, the public library often gives out free snacks to teenagers every day. I think if I look hard enough, I'll be able to find enough food for the both of us. You okay staying here by yourself for awhile Kitty?" The female cat made a meowing sound, and then began to lick its' sole kitten. Kaitlyn smiled as she said, "Great. Be back soon." Then Kaitlyn stood up and left the abandoned warehouse.

*One Month Later:

Kaitlyn Kramer walked into the abandoned warehouse one evening with a bag of food as she said, "Dinner time!" Kaitlyn then saw coming out of a corner was her female cat, and its' one month old kitten. As Kaitlyn poured some milk into a dish, she said, "Here you go. I got you some nice filtered water and kitten milk powder from the dollar store. I think you'll both like it." The month old kitten then made a happy meowing sound as he licked Kaitlyn's hand. Kaitlyn had a happy smile on her face as she said, "Aww. Thanks little buddy." Then suddenly Kaitlyn heard a loud male voice yell, "KAITLYN!" Kaitlyn suddenly had a terrified look go across her face as she said, "Oh no!"

Suddenly Kaitlyn's father burst into the abandoned warehouse as he screamed, "I knew I saw you at that dollar store! Come on. You're coming home with me right now young lady!" Kaitlyn looked very afraid as she yelled, "No dad! I'm never going with you anywhere ever again!" Kaitlyn's dad then marched towards Kaitlyn as he yelled, "Never talk back to me you damn filthy outcast!" Then Kaitlyn's father smacked Kaitlyn across the face. Then as Kaitlyn screamed in pain, her female cat jumped up hissing loud. The female cat then jumped onto the face of Kaitlyn's father and began to scratch him. Kaitlyn's father screamed in pain, then grabbed the female cat with his hand as he yelled, "Get off me you damn dirty cat!"

Then Kaitlyn's father threw the female cat into a wall very hard. The female cat then fell to the ground... and didn't get up at all. Tears appears in Kaitlyn's eyes as she screamed, "NOOOOO!" Then Kaitlyn quickly picked up the baby kitten, and ran out of the abandoned warehouse. Kaitlyn's father began to chase after Kaitlyn as he screamed, "Get back here Kaitlyn! Don't you dare defy your father!" Kaitlyn however began to run into the nearby woods, and used the branches and trees to disguise her path. However even as her father's voice and foot steps began to disappear from her hearing range, Kaitlyn continued to run as fast as she could while she carefully holding the baby kitten in her hands.

Several hours later, Kaitlyn continued to walk as far as she could through the woods while still holding the baby kitten. Eventually Kaitlyn fell to the ground crying. As Kaitlyn looked at the baby kitten in her hands, she said, "I'm sorry little buddy... but I don't know what to do. I can't take care of you... because I don't know how to even take care of myself. I guess I deserve this. I'm just a worthless outcast that doesn't deserve to be in this world." The kitten then look into Kaitlyn's eyes and made a scared meowing sound. A Kaitlyn looked into the eyes of the baby kitten, she made a little smile as she said, "Not you little buddy. You're not worthless. You're an innocent. You and your mother showed me unconditional affection when no one else in the world could. You are so, so special. In fact..." Then Kaitlyn looked up at the stars in the sky as she said, "If you can hear me God... whatever grace you were gonna give me... give it to this innocent little kitten. Please, bless it with wonderful abilities and a beautiful family that will accept it. Make it the greatest cat in the world! Please... forget about me. Just take every good thing I ever deserved and give it to this innocent little life. Please!" Then Kaitlyn curled up into a ball, and began to cry. The little kitten then simply sat near Kaitlyn, and began to lick the side of her face.

Several more hours later, Kaitlyn began to shiver as the night wind hit her body. The little kitten tried to stay near Kaitlyn... but then the high wind suddenly blew the kitten away down a hill. Kaitlyn looked horrified as she screamed, "NO! NOT YOU TOO! NOOOOO!" Then suddenly lights nearby were pointed at Kaitlyn, as she saw a figure coming towards her. Kaitlyn then hugged herself tight as she screamed, "Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me!" However suddenly a group of police officers appeared as one of them said, "We're not gonna hurt you. But we have been looking for you. Are you Kaitlyn Kramer?" Kaitlyn sat up as she confusingly said, "Yes." The police officer sighed in relief as he said, "Well, you've been missing for awhile, and someone spotted you heading to these words." Kaitlyn began to look terrified again as she said, "Was it my father?" Another police officer got down on the ground to match Kaitlyn's height as they said, "No. A neighbor finally reported how he was hurting your mother, and finally got a restraining order on him. However it wasn't before your mother was hurt... very badly. We'll take you to her if you want. However we're going to have to find another place for you to stay until she hopefully gets better. Now come on. Lets get you to some place warm." As Kaitlyn stood up, she said, "But... there was a kitten with me. It blew away in the wind, and I don't know where it is." One of the police officers then said, "We'll look for a bit, but sadly... in this darkness, it will probably be too hard to spot it." Kaitlyn then looked down with a sad look on her face... and began to cry.

A small kitten sat alone in the woods as it was crying for help. Suddenly the small kitten heard a voice say, "Hello? Who's there?" The small kitten then began to cry even louder. Suddenly a dark haired teenage girl appeared walking towards the kitten as she said, "Well hey there little fella. What are you doing out here all alone?" The small kitten looked scared as it began to back away from the dark haired girl. The girl then got down on the ground as she said, "Hey. You don't have to be scared of me. I mean... you look like you could use a friend... and honestly, I could use a friend too. Wanna be pals buddy?" The small kitten then cautiously moved towards the dark haired girl... and then held out its' paw. The dark haired girl then gently shook the kitten's paw with three fingers as she said, "Nice to meet you. My name is Ana Sinclair Addams, and I've never been friends with a cat before. Since you're my new friend, you deserve a cool name. How about Stormageddon the Conqueror!?"

*Three Years Later:

Ana's cat, and his mate: Princess Snuggles sat together on a large cat bed, with eight tiny newborn kittens around them. Sitting around the cat bed were Wednesday, Enid, Ana, Harmony, and Megan. Enid looked very happy as she said, "Aww. Look at all those little kittens. They're so cute! Newborns are so adorable!" Then Enid glanced at Wednesday as she said, "Wednesday, have you ever thought about having some more..." Then Wednesday quickly cut Enid off as she angerly said, "No!" Harmony and Megan meanwhile held hands as Harmony said, "It's just so amazing to see the miracle of life like this. It's so beautiful." Megan nodded her head as she said, "Yeah. And it's so beautiful all these kittens were born just days before Christmas." Ana then gently stroked her cat as she said "Good work Stormageddon the Conqueror. You stayed by Princess Snuggles' side the whole time, and are helping her take care of the kittens now. You're a good kitty cat."

Then a blonde female teenager walked into the room as she said, "How's the new feline family doing?" Ana smiled as she said, "They're doing great." A curious Megan then said, "Hold on. You're Duncan's cousin, right?" The blonde girl nodded her head as she said, "Yeah." Then a smiling Harmony said, "Well I gotta say, I guess the rude genes skipped you in the family; because you're thankfully nothing like him." The teenage blonde girl smirked as she said, "Thanks, but I'm adopted. Duncan's uncle and aunt actually made it official just a year ago; which is a totally awesome thing to do for a seventeen year old girl. Life has been rough for me for a long time... but that's why I was totally happy to take on looking after Princess Snuggles and her new litter. You know... give them the kind of family I didn't have most of my life."

Wednesday then raised her eyebrows as she said, "Well I very much appreciate the fact young woman that you took on the responsibility of looking over this litter from our hands. I truly did not need additional distractions in my home." A happy Enid then said, "Yeah. Thanks again... um... I'm sorry, what was your name again?" The blonde girl smiled as she said, "It's Kaitlyn, and... I hope you don't mind me saying Mrs Wednesday Addams... I have been a big fan of your writing for a long time. Your books... are my favorite things to read." Then Wednesday raised one eyebrow as she said, "As they should be for anyone." Then a smiling Ana said, "Well since you're looking after the kittens of Stormageddon the Conqueror, consider yourself an honorary member of the Addams Family now!" A big smile went across Kaitlyn's face as she said, "Wow. Um... thank you so much."

Then Kaitlyn gently placed some food near the new cat family as she said, "Here you go guys. I got you some nice filtered water and kitten milk powder from the dollar store. I think you'll all like it." Then Ana's cat suddenly turned his head to look at Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn then looked down at Ana's cat. The two both looked into each other's faces for a moment... and then Kaitlyn's eyes widened as she said, "Could you be..." Then Ana's cat quickly jumped onto Kaitlyn's shoulder, and began to lick her face. Ana smiled as she said, "Aww. It looks like Stormageddon the Conqueror likes you. You should take that as a compliment. Stormageddon the Conqueror only likes special people, because he is a very special cat." Tears appeared in Kaitlyn's eyes, as she gently hugged the cat and said, "That's wonderful to hear. That is so wonderful to hear."
