In his secret headquarters, Jon Castaway of the Quarrymen had been trying to figure out how to really get at the entire gargoyle clan and not just one. One thing he was researching on a particular day was about a closed park from a scientist named John Hammond called Jurassic Park.
He did the most research he could on the place which housed real living dinosaurs, even if they were genetic enhanced freaks. Castaway couldn't help but give off an evil smile when seeing one of a T. rex that was there on his computer screen, imagining what it would be like for someone like Goliath fighting off such a gigantic beast.
After taking a quick break, Jon knew what he wanted to do, going to have a meeting with his fellow Quarrymen.
He had called them all into the briefing room, all whom were talking with each other silently until Jon had silenced them. "I believe I have a place where we can truly break the gargoyle demons. There is an abandoned park where dinosaurs roam free."
One Quarryman looked startled. "Sir, you gotta be pulling our legs, right? I mean, either an asteroid or a flood had wiped out the dinosaurs years ago!"
Jon shook his head. "No. Somehow, Dr. John Hammond managed to re create these beasts, and now they breathe the same air we do. There are two locations of Jurassic Park: Site A and Site B. I wish to send Goliath and his freak family over to Site B, see how they can fend off the dinosaurs."
The rest of the men all now looked rather excited, knowing John Hammond was on their side if he made something that could kill off the gargoyles in an instant. They nodded altogether. "Yeah. That means no more gargoyles in our city! But, how will we lure them all to get them captured?"
Jon smiled, holding up a voice recorder. "I think I have a solution."
...
Meanwhile on a clear crisp summer night in Manhattan, Brooklyn was gliding with his leader Goliath who had been taking him on leadership patrol training. So far they managed to stop several robberies, even coming across Demona too and stopping her from doing an evil deed which involved poisoning the governor.
Brooklyn though felt something in his stomach that night like something was going to happen. He looked towards Goliath. "Hey, uh, Goliath? I can't help but shake the feeling that we'll all be in trouble soon that we can't get out of."
The lavender leader looked to his red comrade in confusion. "What makes you say that? It had been several successful nights of patrols without us being hurt."
Before the beaked male could reply back; Goliath's ear com suddenly beeped, making him press the button. "Elisa?" He asked.
What sounded like Elisa on the com answered back. "Goliath, I need you and the rest of the clan to meet me in Central Park. Some urgency is happening that requires all of you."
That caused Goliath to frown, wondering what the emergency could even be but he nods. "Alright, I'll take your word for it my love. I'll meet you there."
After switching off the com, Brooklyn's gut feeling in his stomach for danger kept growing while he followed Goliath, hoping this wasn't a trap but it was sure feeling like it.
Meanwhile in the park Hudson had arrived too along with Angela, Lexington and Broadway, all looking upwards at the sight of Brooklyn and Goliath both landing there with them. They glanced about, but there wasn't any sign of Elisa anywhere in sight.
Hudson folded his arms. "Did ye get the call too, laddie?" He questioned, Goliath nodding, his eyes narrowed. "Yes. And she was supposed to be here. Something isn't right."
Broadway scratched his head. "I wonder why she didn't want to have Bronx join us."
Before Lexington could say anything, there was a sudden sting on the back of his neck. He yelped aloud, rubbing it, and pulling out a dart. This wasn't good at all. Goliath's eyes glowed white from this until soon he heard a voice.
"Surprise."
The entire clan all growled when spotting the Quarrymen, their mortal enemies, come out of the shadows and bushes, all holding their hammers. Lexington had fallen unconscious, unaware that mixed in with the sleep medicine was a toxin that took away his stone sleep as well. Jon Castaway gave a cruel laugh, the men pointing their guns. "Can't believe you were so stupid to follow an audio recording of your beloved, mighty Goliath. I thought you were smarter than this."
Goliath's wings flared out, wanting to charge at him but was also struck by a dart, followed by Brooklyn getting hit then everyone else. All of them yelped out loud, pulling the darts out, Brooklyn feeling his vision growing woozy, a hand on his forehead.
Jon kept up his laugh as he watched Goliath slump to the ground, his eyes fluttering almost shut as Brooklyn also passed out completely. He held up Goliath's head. "Where you all are going; I'm going to make sure you never return."
Goliath could only muster a small moan, before soon his senses were gone, passing out too. Castaway cracked his knuckles. "Round 'em up, boys. We leave tonight."
All the Quarrymen cheered from this, glad to have gotten all the ones who could fight and fly, wrapping them all up in nets, a helicopter having arrived to transport them to Jurassic Park. Elisa herself had no idea that Goliath will soon be gone for a very long time.
Jon gazed at printed out pictures of a T Rex and a Raptor, longing to watch these two magnificent predators ripping into the hides of the gargoyles, knowing this was probably his best plan to break the mighty Goliath yet, as the helicopter flew off towards its destination which would make for a few days travel.
