"PLEASE STOP I'M SORRY IT WON-"The shopkeeper's words would be stopped when a punch hit his face. Blood immediately started pouring out of the man's nose as he stared up at the 6-year-old beating him with blood-soaked fist. The reason why he was getting attacked was because he called the young boy a "demon".
Ever since Naruto Uzumaki was old enough to defend himself he did exactly that by brutally beating any civilian that tried to attack him or call him a demon. This of course did nothing to stop them from viewing him as one but it did stop them from attacking him or calling him a demon to his face.
It didn't help Naruto's case that he could beat up most grown men despite being 6 years old. This helped solidify the demon rumors around his name. But the ones who would proudly say it to his face were very few. Unless you're counting this store owner Naruto was currently beating up.
In Naruto's defense, he didn't do anything wrong. He was just calmly telling the store owner he didn't appreciate that he was overcharging his goods to him and he didn't believe it to be fair. Next thing he knew the owner was attempting to kick him out for nothing and saying " I DON'T SELL TO DEMONS BRAT" which of course made Naruto have to teach the older man a lesson. Being as this wasn't the first time this exact store owner had called him that word, after thinking for a moment he decided that he should make an example out of this man to deter future incidents. His attention would come back to current events as the bloodied and broken-faced man would be begging for forgiveness.
After a moment of thinking to himself, he decided on a befitting punishment for the man, as a sick sick-looking smile would start creeping upon his lips. He raised his foot quickly and stomped hard with his right foot sending a sickening crack sound that spread through the quiet crowd. Looking down with the same sick smile at what he'd done to the now crippled man.
With one stomp he crushed the man's knee, and with just one look at the ruined knee, it looked like the man would never walk again. The bystanders in the store would could only stand on terrified at what they were seeing, but not even one of them would even think to step into the beat down to help the old man.
The only sound that was in the growing crowd of people was the shore owner's screams of pain and sorrow. At first, he didn't mind them as he found it funny to see a man so pitiful, but it quickly became annoying just as fast as it became entertaining. So without thinking much about it he punched the screeching man and knocked him out cold.
After he allowed himself a few moments to calm himself and fix up his appearance, he turned and looked at the terrified crowd before speaking "Don't let it happen again." His voice was low but Naruto could tell everyone heard him by the looks on their faces. Satisfied in the crowd's reaction he stepped over the body of the man before dropping and picking up the bags of groceries. Right when he was about to walk away he paused for a second in thought before returning his gaze to the crowd "These are free by the way" While lifting the bags in the air. With that Naruto would leave the man blooded and broken on the ground without another look, as he began to walk home.
To say Naruto stayed in a bad part of the Leaf village was an understatement because he lived in the worst. So bad in fact that he had to go through a series of back alleys to reach his apartment without trouble.
While Naruto hadn't had any issues dealing with trouble in his neighborhood, he just had enough fun for today. Which if your walking on the main street to his apartment you are asking to stumble upon some problems. This is why Naruto learned to get to his apartment the quietest way. Just because Naruto enjoyed fighting drunks and gangsters doesn't mean he wanted to every day.
He would be forced out of his thoughts when he saw something blocking his path on his way towards another alleyway. The only thing he could make of the dark figure was it was a short (but taller than him of course) looking male figure and a glint of light showing off his forehead. He was used to these types of alleyway dwellers. If he had to guess it was probably some junkie who got too high in the middle of the alleyway and forgot how to walk or something. "Move" was all the Naruto said as he stared at the "junkie" hoping he was conscious enough to hear him.
After a moment of silence, he prepared to say something else but stopped when he saw the "man" start to move. The "man" would step directly into the light allowing Naruto to see his features. Naruto would take in his appearance, boring-looking face, about 5,3, looks about 13, has brown hair, brown eyes and apparently from his headband he's a shinobi of this village. "You think your tuff shit because you beat up civilians don't you demon," the boy said with a hateful snarl on his face.
A sharp but childish laugh (because he's 6) would leave his mouth. "I guess the word travels pretty fast, that just happened" right after saying that his face turned almost blank. " Though you know what happened to the last person who called me that." He said before the same sick smile crossed his lips again. "Or should I say what's going to happen to you?"
The boy would only smirk "I'm not one of those weak civilians you bully I'm a ninja-" A pause would cause a short moment of silence " and I will personally be taking revenge for the store owner and all the other people you hurt, you demon ."
The only reaction he gave to the boy's statement was the already sick-looking smile growing wider. "I've never killed a ninja before" his eyes flashing a hue of red for only a moment. The boy's eyes showed no fear after this only determination, as he pulled a kunai out of his waistband "I don't fear you monster, I shall be praised across the entire village for being the one who was brave enough to kill the demon."
As soon as those words left his mouth Naruto had to duck under a swipe of the kunai that threatened to split his throat open. Trying to counter as quickly as possible, he threw an uppercut towards the boy's body only to have his punch slapped away which threw him off his balance and forced him into a spin before he could ground himself. Following the spin he had no time to properly defend the stab coming from above as he had to block with his left arm which resulted in the kunai being plunged 2 inches into his bicep. Not even allowing this to slow him down, Naruto landed a right hook to his face.
Which didn't move the boy from his spot but sent his head flying over to the right The boy quickly recentered his head and before he could throw another punch and slammed his forehead into his, the boy's headband quickly made a large cut against his head and made his head swing back violently making him dizzy. The rush of the battle was the only thing that ended the dizziness early which showed that his opponent went through the same thing as him. Taking advantage of this while also stealing his move, Naruto slammed the top of his head into the boy's nose which pushed him back and resulted in a heavily blooded nose from his opponent.
Finally, after what seemed like the longest seconds of his life, Naruto steeled his resolve and looked at his arm before ripping out the kunai from it and holding it in his hand while looking at the un-named boy
The boy seeing him steal his weapon snarled before digging in his pouch and pulling out another kunai. "By the end of the night, they will be calling this kunai the 'demon slayer'" The boy said by the looks of it was the most determined face he had ever even with the possibility broken nose. He didn't even get the chance to say something witty back before the unnamed boy was on him again. Sending a diagonal swipe of his kunai going downwards. He attempted to block but after a short clash of blades, he lost which allowed him to slash at his chest which Naruto barely dodged by jumping back only leaving a slash mark half an inch thick into his skin.
The brutal attack didn't stop there as the boy attacked and attacked. The boy had been training for a while and he couldn't keep up. After multiple failed attempts and blocking Kunai and various slash marks over numerous parts of his body, he attempted to stab the boy's heart. Two hands the kunai as he stabbed up at the boy. Only to have both hands grabbed by one, as the boy's kunai sliced into his stomach, afterwards, he placed a kick into the same part of the stomach he stabbed. This pushed him onto his back in the most pain Naruto ever felt in his short life.
Laying on the ground looking up at the cloudy skies, he started to accept his death as blood flowed from cuts on almost every part of his body. The pretty clouds were blocked by the boy's figure as he stood looking down on him. "Can you get the fuck out the way" gasp gasp " I'm trying to look at the fucking clouds." a small smirk at being petty was whipped away when a fist hit his face making him swing to the right. Looking up at the boy above him he expected to hear mocking, but not yet as the boy threw 3 more punches trying to ruin his face.
"You're nothing but a bully demon living up to your name." the boy spat out "I will kill you right now and end the poison ruining this village," he said as the boy's eyes turned to pure determination. His kunai was on its way to slamming into Naruto ending his life, but before that could happen he spat blood into the boy's eye which threw off his aim and the kunai landed to the right of his body. A laugh left his mouth as he realized he was too tired to capitalize on that the boy's face turned into pure rage, as he grabbed the kunai again before striking it towards his chest.
However, he wouldn't meet his end right there instead he would feel water surrounding everything under his knee and a suffocating presence across from him looking up he would instinctively take a step back in fear as and ginormous fox with 9 tails behind its massive body would look towards him through a cage.
"Giving up already boy I expect much more of you." As the kyubi spoke, each word was like a plate of weight being crushed onto him while struggled to breathe. If the kyubi noticed that he ignored it and continued speaking "However I'm going to help you live because I like you." The massive fox paused "Your brutality is beautiful to watch." another pause "And more importantly if you die I die as well, and dying isn't a good experience."
The kyubi smiled so big that it would cover his entire face, which further terrified the young boy to an extreme extent. The beast would laugh knowing what he was about to do. "While you're here I could tell u something that can help on our journey."A short pause later. "How would u like to know why they call you a demon." Naruto still feeling the weight of the pressure made by the nine tails, could only force his body to shake his head up and down.
"I will tell you exactly why." an ominous laugh followed that statement as he began again "On the night you were born it became one of the worst nights in Leaf Village's history." A slight pause in the beast's voice would show before began again. " Your birth helped me be forced out of your mother and kill thousands including your mother and almost your father" A deep chuckle would come to the fox at one of his favorite memories. "because of this your terrible father sealed me into you which caused his death along with your life path as a hated jinchuriki. This is also why you're so strong for your age." The kyubi would pause for a second, staring into his terrified face which only caused more fear.
"But no matter how terrible your life is or what it is to become, I will make sure that the only way you will die is when I leave your body and eat your corpse." After saying this the kyubi flooded the room with killing intent he was unable to stand visibly choking. But as soon as it came it left just as quick. Leaving Naruto barely fighting his way to stand up. "I have told you enough, when you return to the world you will receive my chakra and you will kill the boy in a brutal animalistic way." one of his eyebrows raised before asking "Do you agree to do that?"
After what seemed to be an eternity of trying to force himself to speak he crooked out 2 words.
" I will"
Coming back to reality Naruto would see the attack coming to kill him in slow motion. He was so in awe of his new perception that he almost accidentally let him stab his heart. Thankfully, he realized in time grabbing the 2 hand kunai attack with his own hands before they had a short standoff of strength as the boy continued to try to stab him. It didn't last for long as he instinctively squeezed the boy's hands not realizing his new strength. The cracking sound that came after squeezing was followed by the boy's scream which forced him to drop the kunai.
Taking advantage of this naruto threw a hard punch at the boy's stomach which sent him flying. After getting to his feet he would stare at his hands in awe. There was now a slight coloring of red fur and sharp nails that was on his hands. He did a few test grips and punches quickly to test his strength, and he was very satisfied by it. 'you said brutal right' he allowed himself a quick chuckle before rushing at the boy on the ground screaming in pain. The boy quickly forced himself up before he attempted to gain distance with a front kick but it was far too slow as Naruto ripped 3 sharps lines across his face. A silent scream left the boy's mouth before Naruto took his chance to bite into the boy's shoulder ripping skin and flesh off the bone.
The boy shonobi fell onto the ground with a screech that pierced the sky while thrashing on the ground. Naruto would spit out the flesh from his mouth, before sallowing the remaining blood. The look in the boy's eyes was amazing as Naruto stared from above. The boy had a look of pure fear and was barely keeping eye contact while the pain had forced his eyes to lose the previous determination he had. Naruto would sit above him before whispering into the boy's ear " I'm going to kill u." He said while blood was still running off his mouth onto his chin. Whatever reaction he was expecting didn't happen as the boy spat in his face and said "demon" with the rest of his possible strength.
Naruto let a frown go over him before he opened his mouth showing his newly sharp teeth and went down towards the boy's neck. About 3 inches away he was forced to stop as a short sword was pointed at his throat, he also felt a blade threatening to stab him through his stomach. "Naruto Uzumaki, we were sent to bring u to the Hokage for ur attack on the shopkeeper," the man with a dog face mask said before pausing. "but it looks like u got yourself into something else." A growl would leave Naruto's mouth as he attempted to lift his hand only to feel the blade starting to cut skin. "I wouldn't do that if I was you" a short pause followed. "we'd have to hurt you."
"tsk" was the only response to that empty threat as his nails started to pierce the boy's skin, but before he got stabbed into flesh he met the back of a blade knocking him out clean.
