Loud house reaction to Pokémon legend.
Greetings everyone, I had this thought on how the characters from the loud house and casagrandes would react to what it would be like if Pokémon was in their lives. And yes, the louds will get scolded for a while for their actions especially Lori, Lynn, and Lola.
Episode 13
House Call
"The time has come, can Lincoln forgive Lisa and Lucy?" Stella asked."
"Fingers cross," Mollie replied."
late evening, at the loud house,
Lisa was getting ready for bed, as she got into her pajamas. looking over to the side of her desk, was the transport device she's been working hard building since the last call from professor oak. the device itself looked almost complete, but Lisa knew it had to be tested first. but her main thoughts were on Lincoln, and how to make things up with him.
"Wow, the machine looks cool," Darcy said."
"I'll say, I can't wait until its done," David said."
"Thanks, but I'm more worried about Lincoln," Lisa said."
"I hope he calls soon," she quietly murmured."
her prayers were answered when the videophone started to beep. she looked at the caller ID, and saw it was from pewter city.
"He's calling!" Leni said."
"Pewter city? professor oak had mentioned that place. that can only mean...!" Lisa said as she hurried and picked up the receiver and answered the call. the monitor turned on, revealing Lincoln's face." (uttering one word)" ... L-Lincoln?"
"You got it, Lisa. it's been a while since we've actually talked to one another, hasn't it," Lincoln replied."
Lisa was unable to reply, as she was still in shock at the sight of her brother contacting her so soon.
"Lincoln, I think you broke her," Rusty said."
"Looks like it," Lincoln said."
"Pika Pikachu?" a smaller, squeakier voice asked."
"No, she's fine. she'll be back to normal in a moment or so," Lincoln replied as he snapped his fingers," earth to Lisa! snap out of it!"
Lisa shook her head, as she regained her composure.
"Apologies for that Lincoln. I was just surprised that you contacted us so soon," Lisa said blushing in embarrassment."
"Believe me, I'm just as surprised as you that I even gave the idea of calling you guys any sort of thought," Lincoln said sounding mildly irritated."
"Can't blame for what he went through," CJ said."
The louds wince.
Lisa wince from that comment.
"Oh, I'm guessing you're still mad at us, right?" Lisa asked."
"Oh, big time. though I'm not the only one livid," Lincoln replied as Pikachu popped up cheeks sparking."
"Pika, Pikachu, pika!" Pikachu said sounding threatening."
"Language buddy, trust me you don't want me to tell what he said," Lincoln said."
"Hate to imagine what he said," Liam said."
"I can tell it's a potty mouth," Becca said."
"Er...no need too. I can guess what the little one just said," Lisa said." (it was then she remembered something) oh, that's right! can I put you on hold for a moment while I get Lucy?"
Lincoln was taken aback by the request but retained his composure.
"Sure thing," Lincoln replied."
Lisa set down the receiver and excited her bedroom.
"Good call to get Lucy," Rocky said."
at that moment, in Lynn and Lucy's room,
Lynn was lazily sitting on her bed, tossing a tennis ball up and down, looking forward to her big game tomorrow.
"Welp, tomorrow's the big day! the day I worked on rebuilding the winning streak that stinkcoln ruined with his bad luck!" Lynn declared."
"Again, your lost wasn't his fault," Margo said."
Lynn looked away.
"Even though Lincoln was nowhere to be seen at your last game?" Lucy asked."
even with her usual deadpan tone, Lynn could tell she was deadpanning more so than usual.
"He had to be there! how else could I've lost that game without him jinxing everything with his curse?!" Lynn retorted."
"Well, did it ever cross your mind that Lincoln faked being bad luck to get out of our activities?" lucy asked."
"Yeah Lynn, have you or your sisters thought of that?" Paula asked."
Lynn couldn't answer.
(looked at lucy annoyed) "Why would he do something stupid like that? especially since he knows it's true?" Lynn asked.
"Because he wanted a break," Francisco said."
Lucy didn't get a chance to answer, when Lisa stepped into the room.
"What do you want, Lisa? you're not exactly someone I want to see right now," Lynn rudely stated."
"I feel the same towards you. however, I'm not here for you," Lisa replied." (turning to Lucy) "he's on the line right now."
"He?" Lucy asked before realizing who she was talking about." wait, he actually called?"
"Yes. and he's waiting for us both," Lisa replied."
"Who are you guys talking about?" Lynn asked curious as to who they're talking about."
"It's none of your business Lynn, so butt out!" Lisa snapped as she and lucy returned to the genius' room."
"Oh, you got burned!" Carl laughed."
Everyone snickered as Lynn rolled her eyes.
"Who could they be talking about? it can't be the meddling professor. he was pretty steamed at us the last time he called, which could only mean...!" Lynn said then realized who they're talking about, stinkcoln! but why would he be calling?"
A cruel smirk worked its way onto her face.
"What's with that face LJ?" Lynn sr. asked."
"Lynn felt nervous.
"I bet he's crying like a baby, begging us to take him back! if that's the case, I can use a good laugh before my game tomorrow," Lynn said as she leapt off her bed, and made her way to the doorway of Lisa's bedroom."
Everyone glares at her.
"You enjoy seeing him miserable?!" Zach asked."
"What's wrong with your head?" Carlota asked."
Lynn couldn't answer.
meanwhile, in Lisa and Lilly's room,
"Ok, I'm back, and I've brought Lucy with me," Lisa said as she and the goth girl positioned themselves in front of the videophone."
"Uh, hey, Lincoln, Lucy said meekly."
"Hello Lucy. before we continue this any further, where's mom and dad? the professor told me that they wanted to talk things out too," Lincoln asked."
"They had a late-night errand to run and won't be back until a little later. but we'll let them know you called," Lisa replied."
"I see. well, in that case, let's get down to business. the professor told me you two wanted to speak to me? Lincoln asked."
"Yes. its regarding our actions, or rather, lack of action during this whole mess," Lisa replied."
Lincoln's attention was now fully focused on his two little sisters.
"We were wrong to go along with the rest of the family in treating you the way we did," Lucy said."
"What we're trying to say is that we want to apologize for what we've done to you, or in this case, didn't do to help end this farce any sooner," Lisa explained."
"You two should've," Carl said."
"Carl!" Frida said."
"What they should've," Carl said."
Lincoln was very surprised.
"And you two genuinely feel this way? or is it because professor oak chewed you out?" Lincoln asked."
"Both, though truth be told, it was actually the chewing out that professor oak gave us that finalized our motivation to make amends with you. our willingness to apologize to you is 100% fact," Lisa replied."
"Thank you professor," Albert said."
"Well, I won't deny that this bad luck mess is mostly my fault for carrying on Lynn's superstitious beliefs but saying that you and the others are guiltless would be just another lie on my part. so, I suppose I can forgive you both for what you did or didn't do. but I want to make one thing clear," Lincoln said his tone becoming very serious."
"I'm glad he forgave you," Darcy said."
"Me too," Rocky said."
"Me three," David said."
Lucy and Lisa smiled and hugged Lincoln and he hugs them back.
"But what's the deal Lincoln's going to make?" Haiku asked."
"And that is?" Lisa asked with a gulp."
"I sincerely doubt something like this'll ever happen again, and I hope it never does, because if it does happen again, you two and others are dead to me. capishe?" Lincoln explained."
"Capishe," both sisters parroted."
"He's got a point, who knows if it will happen again?" Casey asked."
The loud felt nervous and guilt.
they both knew that in the loud family, being disowned was the worst possible punishment, especially when it was done by someone you've wronged.
"Good. now that that's all out of the way, what would you two like to talk about now that we've cleared the air?" Lincoln asked sounding a little more pleasant."
"Well, we would like to hear about your travels," Lisa replied." how have things been since going to kanto?"
"Good thing to change the subject," Rosa said."
"Oh, things are amazing over here! I've seen all kinds of amazing Pokémon, and I've only been on my journey for a few days," Lincoln replied."
"Could you start at the beginning please?" Lucy asked."
"Also, can I record your telling of the story? I'm sure our parental units would love to hear about your exploits," Lisa requested."
"Yes, we would," Rita said."
"Sure thing. anyhow, things started going great for me the day BEFORE I started on my journey. just as professor called me in to get my fist starter Pokémon and set out, I was approached by an incredible bird Pokémon that looked like one of my drawings. the professor said it was called ho-oh," Lincoln explained."
"Could you describe it for us? Lisa asked."
"Well, it was a huge bird Pokémon, and it looked like a phoenix, except its wings were glowing like a rainbow," Lincoln explained."
Lucy realized what Lincoln was talking about and pulled out one of his drawings she was keeping safe.
"Did it look like this," lucy asked showing the drawing of ho-oh."
"Yeah, that's the one," Lincoln replied." anyhow, after a moment or so, it left, but not before giving me this."
Lincoln showed his two sisters the rainbow wing.
"Whoa, what is that thing?" lucy asked."
"Professor oak said it's called a rainbow wing, and according to legend, it's said to bring happiness to those who need it," Lincoln replied."
"Sounds like something you deserve after what's happened," Lisa said."
"Definitely," Ronnie Anne said."
Everyone nods in agreement.
"Don't I know it. well, anyhow, after I learned I passed the qualification test years ago, I overslept and missed picking my starter, so professor oak gave me a pokeball with a lightning bolt on top and a Pokémon named Pikachu came out, he didn't like me at first but after talking to him we became friends and making him my first Pokémon," Lincoln said as Pikachu popped up on screen." and this is that same Pikachu."
"Pika, Pikachu said as Lincoln realized lucy had his drawings."
"Wait you kept my drawings Lucy?" Lincoln asked."
"Yes, they looked really amazing and kept them hidden so that Lynn or the others won't destroy them," lucy replied."
"Thanks lucy I appreciate it," Lincoln said."
"Thanks for keeping my drawings safe, Lucy," Lincoln said."
"No problem big bro," Lucy said."
"The professor mentioned something about how you and three other trainers were starting out," Lisa remembered."
"That's right, the professor had three other Pokémon set out for them, which made acquiring Pikachu here a lucky break for me," Lincoln said."
"I'll say," Carl said."
meanwhile, just outside Lisa and lily's room,
"Why those ungrateful brats!" Lynn quietly snarled as she was eavesdropping on the conversation between the three younger siblings. not only was she furious about Lucy and Lisa betraying her by apologizing to Lincoln for their part in the bad luck mess, but it sounded like Lincoln was having a blast over in kanto." stinkcoln isn't supposed to be having fun! he should be whimpering, a sobbing mess! needless to say, Lynn was even more angry at Lincoln for snatching another victory from her."
"You really wanted me to be miserable?" Lincoln asked."
Lynn was feeling guilty.
'Why would I want something like that?' Lynn asked.'
"Lynn what are you doing?" a voice asked."
Lynn nearly jumped out of her skin at the voice of Lori suddenly talking to her. turning, she saw the rest of the loud sisters giving her odd looks.
"Looks like Lucy isn't the only one who jump scares," Haiku said."
Everyone snickers.
"None of your business, now buzz off!" Lynn demanded as she continued to eavesdrop."
but Luna wasn't having any of it.
"Not happening, dude. we're not leaving until we get an explanation as to why you're eavesdropping on Lisa's room," Luna declared standing her ground."
Lynn just groaned in annoyance.
"If you must know, those two little traitors, lucy and Lisa are talking with stinkcoln. happy now?" Lynn snapped."
"LINCOLN?!" the six sisters all exclaimed."
"Will you all shut up?! do you want them to know we're eavesdropping?!" Lynn shushed them harshly."
"And we have thick walls," Lincoln said."
"Wait, linky's on the phone with them?" Leni asked as she went for the door, only to have her hand smacked away by Lynn."
"No way! you're not going in there!" Lynn snapped."
"But I want to see linky again," Leni meekly said."
"If you go in there, he's just going to hang up! he still thinks HE'S the one who was wronged for the mess his bad luck made for us, remember?" Lynn retorted."
"Seriously, you still believe you did nothing wrong?" Margo asked."
"Talk about loud pride," Stella said."
The sisters wince knowing how their pride had caused trouble.
"O-oh, ok, Leni" meekly said."
"Well, if we can't go in, what are we supposed to do?" Luan questioned crossing her arms."
"Well, YOU can go away, while I listen to their conversation," Lynn stated."
"Not happening, buster! we're not leaving you here to eavesdropping on them!" Lana declared."
"She's right! some of us want in on this too!" Lola added."
the others began sharing similar sentiments. Lynn groaned, realizing she was outvoted.
"Alright, fine! but remember, we need to stay quiet!" Lynn said as the other sisters positioned themselves to listen in."
"It'll be a first for them," Lincoln said."
back inside the bedroom,
"And that's how fearow joined my team," Lincoln said finishing up on how fearow joined his party."
"That sounds amazing!" Lisa proclaimed."
"Indeed. anyhow, after I caught fearow, I made my way into viridian city, where the local police officer, named jenny, informed me about a gang of Pokémon thieves that've been skulking about kanto," Lincoln continued."
"And those thieves are the team rocket thugs the professor told us about?" Lucy asked."
"Yup. anyhow, officer jenny gave me a lift over to the Pokémon center, where I went to heal up my team. it's also there that I made two new friends, those being misty from cerulean city, which is where I wrap things up here, and Ren, is from jubilife city in the sinnoh region," Lincoln explained."
"The sinnoh region? where's that?" Lisa asked."
"From what Ren told me, it's just on the other side of the ocean along with another region called hoenn, he's also named after his ancestor who he said new me. I would have to take a ferry to go there. anyhow, the two of them showed me around the Pokémon center, giving me the low down on what kind of facilities it has to offer, apart from healing up Pokémon. there are videophones, which obviously I'm using, as well as a pokemart, where I can go to pick up items, such as medicines, pokeballs, food, and other helpful items, including these TMs," Lincoln explained showing one of the USB sticks he's acquired."
"TMs? what are those?" lucy asked."
"And what did he mean by his ancestor met you?" Lisa asked."
"Wait, his ancestor met Lincoln?" Shane asked."
"Maybe, unless it was someone else with white hair," Shelby replied."
"Come on, who else but Lincoln has white hair?" Shiloh asked."
The louds think of the duke and their royal cousins from lock loud.
"They're technical machines. they're used to help teach new moves to a compatible Pokémon. in Pikachu's case, I gave him the TM for a move iron tail, so that I can teach him that very move. don't ask me to explain, I'm not too sure about it myself, and as for your second question I'm not too sure myself unless we had an ancestor with the same name as me. anyhow, after I did a little shopping, misty, ren and I were getting ready to settle down for the night except misty tried to make me give up my room acting bratty like Lola which I found irritating, when out of nowhere a bomb was set off by those team rocket goons causing misty to fall on me which led to her slapping me and calling me a pervert, team rocket was planning to steal the Pokémon from the center, but the three of us were able to drive them off before they could steal anything," Lincoln replied."
"Well, at least justice prevailed over villainy, and the nerve of that misty calling you that even though she fell on you," Lisa commented."
"Exactly, she had no right to call him that," Carlota said."
The teenagers nod in agreement.
"I know, some people just can't learn to take responsibility for their actions," Lincoln said."
Lisa and Lucy winced knowing Lincoln had a point about them not taking responsibility for their actions.
The rest of the sisters winced knowing Lincoln was right about them not taking responsibility.
"Girls, is that true?" Rita asked."
"Yes, we mostly never do," Lisa replied." We always use him as a scapegoat."
"Lisa, you didn't have to say that!" Lola said."
"Yes, she did, because your brother always takes responsibility for his actions when he does something wrong," Lynn sr. said." even when he knows he messed up."
The sisters feel bad knowing their dad was right.
"I better ask great grandma Harriet if we have a relative with the same name as Lincoln," Lucy muttered to herself."
"Best to check," Haiku said."
"That's right. but it was the morning after that my luck began taking a turn for the better. you see, after the battle with team rocket I got praised by nurse joy and officer jenny, then I received some gift from the pokemart, including the outfit you see me wearing now, I later learned from another nurse Joy that the two of them were 15-year-old inters who were training under their mothers who were the official nurse joy and officer jenny and they wanted to properly thank me for saving the Pokémon center but I was already long gone," Lincoln explained."
"Ok, first off, how exactly did your luck began to change and two, the two of them were named after their own mothers?" Lucy asked."
"That's kind of weird," Lola said."
"I'm getting there, first professor oak told me that every relative in each of their families all look the same, and their names are the same as well. anyhow they both didn't look 15 they looked around 20 but I guess it's probably the food they eat here," Lincoln explained."
"Or their genetics," Lori said."
both sisters looked surprised at this information.
"Pika, pika? Pikachu asked."
"Yeah, this happens a lot with them," Lincoln replied."
"I'm guessing he said they're shocked again," Leonard said."
"Yup," Lincoln said."
Outside, in the hallway,
the rest of the sisters, apart from Lori, Lynn and Lola were all making mischievous noises upon hearing had impressed two 15-year old's.
"Seriously guys, you do every time when its him and girls?" Carlota asked."
"What, wouldn't you with your brothers?" Lori countered."
"Nope," Carlota replied." Because they're not interested in him like that, they just wanted to thank him."
"Man, who'd think Lincoln would get so lucky with the ladies already," Luna giggled."
"Luna, quit being dumb! this is literally terrible!" Lori chastised not happy about hearing Lincoln getting to 15-year-olds to like him."
Lynn wasn't happy either because of how things weren't going her way, while Lola felt insult about Lincoln comparing her too misty.
"How is it terrible Lori?" Carol asked raising an eyebrow."
Lori couldn't answer.
"And I'm not like that Misty girl!" Lola said."
"Technically, you are Lola," Cricket said."
Lola pouts.
"But Lori, they like Lincoln because he saved the center from team rocket," Lana countered."
"That's the problem Lana! Lincoln already has a girlfriend who meets MY approval. and that's Ronnie Anne," Lori stated."
"Isn't she that girl who decked Lincoln in the eye for kissing her because we told him too that one time? why would you want our brother to be with her?" Lana asked."
Ronnie Anne's friends, the loud parents and family minus Bobby and Maria looked at her.
"You did what?!" Sid asked."
"Yeah, I did," Ronnie Anne replied." I used to bully him."
"Why would you do that?!" Casey asked."
Lincoln explained what happened in heavy meddle. everyone was shocked."
"Lori, why would you think that if a girl picks on a boy that means she likes him?" Becky asked."
"Because 16 1/2 magazine said so," Lori replied."
"That is so stupid, just because a girl picks on a boy doesn't always mean she likes him," Miguel said."
"Yeah, sometimes it means he's an easy target that doesn't snitch," Fiona said."
"And you had no right to say you're the only ones who can bully him," Rita said angry." Along with not to meddle unless he needs your help."
"And Ronnie Anne, you shouldn't bully anyone," Arturo scolded."
"It's ok guys, she apologized and gave me a steak for my eye," Lincoln said." After that, we became friends."
Ronnie Anne nods.
"Because my relationship with Bobby literally hinges on the relationship with his sister and Lincoln have. besides they're both perfect for each other," Lori replied."
"How can you be sure they'll even work out?" Luna questioned."
"It just will, ok? besides, she's the only girl WHO meets my approval," Lori declared."
"And if they both don't have feelings for each other?" Lana asked."
Everyone glares at Lori.
"Are you serious Lori, relying on two pre-teens on your relationship, that's pathetic," Carlota said."
"And that's a good question Lana asked," Chaz said."
"Oh of course Ronnie Anne likes him why else would she bully him the way she did?" Lori argued."
"But what if she's already dating someone else? are you just going to break them up or something?" Luan asked."
"I'll do what I need to protect my relationship with bobby. now shut up, and keep listening," Lori ordered as they continued to eavesdrop."
Lori is shocked at her counterpart's word.
"Am I literally like that?" Lori asked." (thinking) 'I have a problem, well mostly my counterpart.'
back in the bedroom,
"Lisa? lucy? snap out of it!" Lincoln called out causing both of his sisters to snap out of their trance."
"Oh, sorry about that. it's just, we never expected you to become the object of affection in a girl's eyes without trying," Lisa said."
"Lisa, relax they just wanted to properly thank me for saving the center, but I already left before they did, besides I'm more focused on the league. but moving on, the explosion that team rocket caused ended up damaging Misty's bike, so I agreed to help her out with finding a bike voucher so she can get a new one," Lincoln continued his story."
"That's nice of you kiddo," Lynn sr. said." Also, don't assume those two girls are interested in your brother like that."
"Well, that's nice of you to do," Lisa commented."
"Indeed. after I got a pendent to house the rainbow wing, I went to route 2 with misty so she could help me catch a water type Pokémon," Lincoln continued."
"Which is that poliwag the professor told us about, yes?" Lucy asked."
"Yep. he's still a bit young, but a hard worker. anyhow, misty and I made our way into the viridian forest. misty was a bit reluctant to go on account of her dislike of bug type Pokémon but mostly based on their looks," Lincoln replied."
"Well, looks aren't everything," Shelby said."
"And were you able to catch any more Pokémon there?" Lisa asked."
"Yes. I caught four more in total, but only three of them were actually unique species, those being pidgeotto who's a lot like Lynn in personality, a shiny weedle, that evolved all the way up into a beedrill, a caterpie that fully evolved to a butterfree to, as well a normal weedle and another caterpie," Lincoln replied."
"Wow, there's a Pokémon with Lynn's personality," Lisa asked."
"I bet there are other Pokémon with the rest of your personalities," Rusty joked."
Everyone thought about it including the sisters.
"Yup, she's very prideful like Lynn, but if I can train her not to be there might be hope for Lynn," Lincoln replied."
"It would take a Miricale for that to happen," Lisa said as she Lucy, and Lincoln laughed."
"A big miracle," Lisa said."
"Ok, so what does shiny' mean?" Lucy asked."
"Well, from what I understand, having different coloring is pretty rare among Pokémon. on top of that, when they leave the pokeball, they sparkle upon materializing," Lincoln explained."
"Ok. so, how exactly is this shiny Pokémon of your different?" Lucy asked."
"Well, as a weedle, its coloring was a little paler compared to a normal weedle, so it's kind of difficult to see right off. but when it evolved into a kakuna, the differences are much more easily noticed. see, kakuna are normal yellow in color, but a shiny kakuna is a bright, lime green color. the same goes for beedrill, which are normally yellow with red eyes. shiny beedrill are green with blue eyes," Lincoln explained."
in the hall,
"Huh, so being a different color is rare for Pokémon," Lana said."
"Even so, I wouldn't go near a bug like that! Leni replied."
"Ditto!" Lola added with a shudder."
"Yeah, the Beedrill does look scary," Dana said."
"I wonder what it does look like in comparison?" Luan pondered as they continued to listen in."
in the bedroom,
"So, the combined forces of you, misty, and this samurai person were able to fend off the entire swarm of beedrill?" Lisa asked."
"Yeah. I could hardly believe it myself. anyways, after I explained everything to the queen beedrill, she gave me something misty called a mega stone, as a peace offering, as well as incentive to ever go near her swarm again," Lincoln replied."
"Mega stone? what's that?" Lisa asked."
"You'll probably want to ask professor oak about it the next time you talk to him. all he told me was that it was something that could help make my goal of winning the Pokémon league a little easier. I don't know all the details myself. all I can tell you is that it looked like some kind of marble that, according to Pikachu, emanated a mysterious power, as well as smelling just like a beedrill," Lincoln explained."
"Hmm, maybe I'll ask the professor about it the next time we talk," Lisa replied."
"Shall I continue?" Lincoln asked, receiving nods from both sisters." well, after misty, Pikachu, and I got out of the viridian forest, we finally made it to pewter city, where we met a rock salesman by the name of flint. and by rock salesman, I mean he sells rocks, no crystals, no gemstones, just plain old stones."
"He sells rocks? whatever for?" Lisa asked."
"Kind of dumb if you ask me," Carl said." Carving things out of rocks would be better."
"Yup," CJ said."
"He told me that they were souvenirs of pewter city. and this is where more good luck came my way," Lincoln replied."
"Let me guess, you bought a rock that turned out to have valuables inside?" Lisa joked."
"Well, you're half right about that. he had charged me 200 pokedollars for resting on his merchandise, but he mistakenly took out all my money. when I kicked the rock that I was sitting on in frustration, it sounded hollow. turns out it was a fake rock, that had a bounty of treasure inside, including some of these," Lincoln replied holding up one of the big nuggets and a big pearl he got from the stash."
"He's right, you were half right about it," Roger said."
lucy and Lisa's jaws dropped once again dropped in awe at the sight of the big nugget and pearl.
"Oh boy, looks like they're spacing out again," Lincoln said."
"More like broke them again," Joey said."
back in the hall,
"It's awfully quiet in there. wonder what's going on?" Luan wondered as she peered through the keyhole, and her jaw dropped the same way the two younger sisters did."
"Luan? are you alright?" Luna asked shaking the jokey sister snapping her out of it."
Luan then grabbed Luna's face, pulling it closer.
"Lincoln apparently has a gold nugget and a big pearl the size of a basketballs!" Luan explained."
"You're kidding, right?" Lynn asked her tone indicating that she didn't believe Luan for one second. but in truth, she was hoping that she was joking."
"I don't think I'm joking," Luan said."
"I'm being deadly serious right now. he was holding them up to the screen for them to see!" Luan replied."
"Based on what we're hearing, it's as if Lincoln's really lucky over in kanto," Lana commented."
"Lana, get that out of your head this instant! it's bad enough that Lucy and Lisa betrayed us by apologizing to that jinx, I don't want any more of you doing the same!" Lynn snarled as they continued to eavesdrop."
unbeknownst to Lynn, a small part of her was actually interested in hearing about Lincoln's exploits over in kanto, despite how mad she was at him.
"Us betraying you for apologizing, that's really stupid," Lucy said."
back in the bedroom,
Lincoln was finishing up his stories by telling Lucy and Lisa about how he beat brock.
"And it was with that one water pulse that poliwag was able to win the battle for me," Lincoln said."
"I see. sounds to me like you're having quite a bit of fun over in kanto, elder brother," Lisa said."
"Yeah. but before I battled brock, I found out he and I are a like when it comes to taking care of your siblings," Lincoln said."
"You mean he has a big family too?" Lucy asked."
"Yup, and he's the oldest of his 9 siblings, and unlike our oldest sister he actually does his job," Lincoln replied."
Lori was going to say something until the siblings' glare at her.
"That makes sense, because you do Lori's job way better than her," Lisa said."
"It's true because she's more focus on her phone and bobby to pay attention to anything else," Lucy said remembering Lincoln getting everyone out the door on time for school while Lori was getting angry hearing them."
The parents look at her.
"Care to explain that Lori," Rita said."
Lincoln explains what happened in project loud house.
"Lori Marie Loud! you chose to not go to school all because Bobby didn't want to wear the tux you wanted him to wear?" Lynn sr. asked."
"Yes," Lori replied feeling guilty."
"That is so pathetic, didn't you think that he wanted to wear a tux his dad wore?" Carlota asked."
"I actually wanted to," Bobby said." I'm still impressed that you got my voice right little loud."
"We'll be having a long talk later young lady," Rita said."
"So, what are you going to do now?" Lucy asked."
"Well, before we head to cerulean city, I'm going to be doing something I found out about called wonder trading," Lincoln replied."
"Ok, so what's that then?" Lisa asked."
"According to my sources, wonder trading is where you can trade Pokémon with people from across the world. if a Pokémon is considered not that rare in other regions, it can be considered quite rare in others, like kanto. I have two Pokémon that I plan on wonder trading, but I'm thinking of catching maybe one or two more before I start," Lincoln explained."
"I see. well, I hope you get some really rare Pokémon," Lucy said with a rare smile on her face."
"Us too," Lisa said."
"Well, even if it's not a rare Pokémon, it's still exciting to do," Lincoln replied."
"So, when do you think we can hear from you again?" Lisa asked."
"Hmm, it'll all depend on how fast we can get over mount moon and cerulean city. if things go according to plan, hopefully by the end of tomorrow," Lincoln replied." so, is there anything else you'd like to talk about?"
"Yes. the professor told us that it's possible for you to transmit data of the Pokémon you've seen and caught during your travels. all you have to do is insert your pokedex into the slot below," Lisa replied."
Lincoln looked down and saw the slot she was talking about.
"Ok, I'll send over the data now, along with some pictures of some Pokémon fossils I took at the pewter city museum, turns out these Pokémon have been around the same time with the dinosaurs," Lincoln said as he inserted his pokedex."
"Data transmitting/receiving," a computerized voice said on both sides of the videophone."
it took a moment before they pinged, data transmission complete.
"Thank you, Lincoln. I'll most certainly look over this data and the pictures you sent," Lisa said."
"If only we could see the data here," Lisa said."
"You're most welcome, Lisa. and professor oak also told me about the transporter device you're building," Lincoln said."
"Ah, yes! it's not quite complete yet, but when it's done, would it be possible for you to send some of your Pokémon over so I can observe them?" Lisa asked."
"I'm more than willing to do so, but I have two conditions," Lincoln replied."
"Always a catch," Lola said."
"And those are?" Lisa asked."
"First, you're NOT to Perform any sort of experiments on them," Lincoln stated."
"Even if it's to monitor their behavioral patterns?" Lisa asked."
"Good loophole," Carlos said."
"Ok, so you're NOT to Perform any sort of PHYSICAL experiments on them. observing how they behave is totally fine," Lincoln replied."
"Ok, and your second stipulation?" Lisa asked."
"You can only have them over there for about a week. after that, you send them over to professor oak's laboratory," Lincoln replied."
"Those sound like perfectly reasonable conditions," Lisa said agreeing to her brother's conditions."
"Perfect conditions indeed," David said."
"Good. now then, I got things to take care of over here, and I know it must be nighttime over where you're at, so I'll go ahead and let you both go get some shut eye," Lincoln said."
"Ok. thank you again for letting us apologize for our part in this bad luck mess," Lucy said."
"No problem. I'll call once I've won at the cerulean gym. good night to both of you, Lincoln said as he hung up."
"I'm glad two to apologized and regretted your actions," Rosa said."
"Us too," Lucy said."
"But you have to work on earning his trust," Hector said."
"Well, that went rather smoothly, wouldn't you say?" Lisa asked."
"Indeed. but we're still going to have to earn back Lincoln's trust and respect," Lucy replied."
"Yes, and that's going to be quite the task for us. but for now, its late, so I'll bid you good night," Lisa said as she leapt down from her chair, and went over to her bed."
Lucy went over to the door, and opened it, only to reveal a fuming Lynn.
"Uh oh," Bertrant said."
"You little traitors!" Lynn yelled causing Lucy to back up." how dare you two apologize to stinkcoln for the mess he made himself!?"
"Were you really eavesdropping on us?" Lucy asked in annoyance."
"The most annoy thing is when sister eavesdrop on me," Lincoln said."
The sisters remember about Lincoln's first concert, when they thought Bobby was cheating on Lori, and when he was thinking of food names at their dad's restaurant and felt guilty.
"Don't you dare turn this around on me! you two are girls, and stinkcoln is a boy! he's ALWAYS going to be wrong, no matter what!" Lynn snapped."
Everyone was shocked.
"What does him being a boy have to do with him being wrong?" Margo asked."
Lynn couldn't answer.
"Lynn, all what's happened was a result of your moronic beliefs in superstitions. unlike you we have brains and heart to do what IS actually right," Lisa said."
"That's right," Darcy said."
"What is actually right is sticking by the rest of us girls in opposition to that rotten jinx! as punishment, not only are you two banned from my softball game tomorrow, you two are doing all my chores for a month! and as for you, Lucy you'd better find someone else to bunk with, because you're no longer welcome in MY bedroom!" Lynn yelled as she stormed out of the room, returning to her own bedroom, slamming the door, hard.
Everyone was shocked and glared at Lynn.
the rest of the sisters popped in themselves.
"You two literally brought this on yourselves. as girls, we're always right, and as a boy Lincoln is always wrong, even if he's in the right and we're in the wrong," Lori pointed out."
"Lori, that has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" Carol said."
"Yeah, and Sexist!" Carlota said."
Lori couldn't say anything.
"Jeez is everyone eavesdropping on our conversations? also, Lori who ever told you all that crap is a bigger idiot than you," Lisa said irritated."
"Well, truth be told, Lynn was doing this first," Leni pointed out."
"Leni hush! these two caused enough damage to Lynn by apologizing to Lincoln for whatever reason. we don't need any more trouble, as for you two I do my job as a big sister like everyone else, "Lori said as Leni shied away."
"Oh really, were you doing your big sister job when you refused to go to school because bobby didn't want to where the tux you wanted him too where?" Lucy asked,"
"Or how about the time at the supermarket when Lincoln was doing the shopping and keeping us out of trouble while you were busy with bobby?" Lisa asked."
"And you were being immature about the same dress you and Leni had even though she had it first," Lucy said."
Lori looked irritated.
"Those mean nothing," Lori yelled."
"Yes, they do. and what about the supermarket?" Rita asked."
Lisa explains what happened in cereal offender. Rita gets furious.
"So, you mean that you all said you would help him shop then go back on your word and cause trouble and got banned and never told me the truth?!" Rita asked."
The sisters nod.
"And I blamed Lincoln for it because of your selfish behaviors!" Rita said."
The sisters felt guilty.
"Lincoln, I'm so sorry about that day, I should've heard you out," Rita said."
"It's ok, I should've known that they wouldn't help," Lincoln said."
"And what about the dress?" Carol asked."
Lincoln explains brawl in the family. Everyone gets angry.
"Lori! if Leni had it first you should've acted mature," Dana said."
"And being hypocrites since you meddle in Lincoln's business a lot," Becky said."
The sisters mostly Lori felt worse.
"Well, either way, it's getting late, so I'm going to bed because I need my beauty sleep," Lola commented as she returned to her bedroom."
Luna and Luan did the same, as did Lori, leaving Leni and Lana with the two sisters.
"What's with you two?" Gavin asked."
"Are we really the bad guys for treating Lincoln how we did?" Leni asked quietly as not to get more aggression from the others."
"What the professor said about how we broke the law is true, Leni. if word about this got out, the family would mostly be separated by the law and sent to different parts of the country. which is why we need to work on regaining Lincoln's favor," Lisa replied."
"That's true," Miguel said."
"Do you think when he calls again, maybe Leni and I can join too?" Lana asked."
"I see no reason why you two can't. we'll come and get you when he does call," Lisa replied."
"Ok, thank you," Leni replied as she and Lana left for their bedrooms."
"Sweet, you two are next to apologize," Roger said."
"I think I'll sleep in Lincoln's room for the time being. I don't really like being near Lynn anyway," Lucy said."
"You did nothing wrong to her she's just being a brat like Lola," Lisa said."
"Hey!" Lynn and Lola said."
"It's the truth live with it," Lisa said."
"Even so, I would rather not be anywhere near her. you know how she gets when she's mad," Lucy said."
"True. we'll just have to wait and see if she'll stop being stubborn on her own, oh and I still have the recording so we can show it to mother and father," Lisa replied."
"However long it may be. good night, Lisa and good idea that'll give Lynn and Lori some problems tomorrow," lucy said as she left for Lincoln's room."
"I agree," Lucy said."
just then Lisa remembered something. she got out of bed, and got onto her phone, and typed out a message to a certain someone, with the number she got from Lincoln's logbook.
"Who are you texting?" David asked."
meanwhile, in another part of town,
Ronnie Anne was laying on her bed, gently tossing a tennis ball up and down worrying about Lincoln's where abouts and noticing how Lori was acting suspicious when she and Clyde came over earlier that week. she could tell something was up and she's determined to get to the bottom of it. her thoughts were interrupted when her phone pinged. looking at it, she saw a text message from a number she didn't recognize. but she saw the Lisa loud on the message, and when she opened it, it read:
"If you wish to know the truth about Lincoln's whereabouts, come to our house while the family is at the softball game, Lisa loud" the text said."
Ronnie Anne couldn't believe her luck. she was going to be able to find out the truth. she typed back, telling Lisa that she'll be there, and that Lisa had better give her the answers she was looking for.
"Oh, i see, you're informing Ronnie Anne and Clyde," David said."
"That was some episode, but we're having a long talk right now girls," Rita said."
The sisters nod and follow the parents to a corner.
