Loud house reaction to Pokémon legend.

Greetings everyone, I had this thought on how the characters from the loud house and casagrandes would react to what it would be like if Pokémon was in their lives. And yes, the louds will get scolded for a while for their actions especially Lori, Lynn, and Lola.

Episode 31

Meeting Cross

"So, we're going to meet that guy Cross," Lynn said."

a few days later,

having parted ways with joy and jenny in cerulean cape as they were meeting their aunts, Lincoln and friends backtracked all the way back through cerulean city and were heading south to vermillion city through route 5. along the way, Lincoln was plagued with boredom, as they walked through the route, trees, trees, and more trees.

"there's hardly anything on this route," Lincoln observed."

"Yeah, there's no Pokémon anywhere," Lana said."

"that's something you're going to have to get used to, Lincoln. excitement isn't going to be EVERYWHERE we go," misty said giving the young trainer a glance." besides, there's nothing wrong with quiet moments like this."

"Misty's right, you know. there's no telling when we'll run into something like team rocket again, so it's best to take in as much quiet time as we can," brock advised."

"Well, when you put it that way, I guess some peace and quiet is a good thing," Lincoln said still looking quite bored."

"I guess they're right, it would be nice to have peace and quiet for once," Lincoln said."

The sisters winced remembering sound of silence.

while he did enjoy the peace and quiet, he was still eager to see what kind of new Pokémon he and his friends would meet between now and vermillion city,

'How ironic. I would've killed to have moments like this back home. can't believe I'm actually bored with the quiet,' Lincoln thought to himself looking around for anything that could stave off his boredom.'

"I guess peace and quiet can get boring," Lincoln said."

his prayers were soon answered upon seeing some kind of billboard sign off to the side of the road.

"what's this?" misty wondered as they went to investigate the sign."

"Whoa, someone with a winning streak," Lynn said." that's impressive."

Her friends, uncle, Shiloh, and boyfriend nod in agreement.

"Looks like some sort of battle challenge advertisement. and by the looks of that streak, this AJ guy must be good," brock commented nothing that the "win" counter at 98, while the lose counter was a 0."

"98!" Lynn said."

"That's impressive," Margo said."

"But it says that it's not an official Pokémon gym. does that mean it's even legit?" Lincoln asked."

"Oh sure. there are gyms like this all over kanto and the other regions, especially in towns that don't have battles clubs. trainers often come to these gyms to train up against the owners of those gyms," brock replied."

"Battle club?" Lincoln questioned."

"Battle clubs are well known in the unova region, it's a club for trainers to train their Pokémon and have battle club tournaments," brock replied."

"That does sound awesome and a perfect place to train," Paula said."

"That sounds great, maybe when we find one, we can train before our gym battles," Lincoln said."

"They're usually run by trainers who weren't able to pass the official Pokémon league gym leader qualification exams," misty added."

"Wait, there's an actual exam for that?" Lincoln asked."

"Seriously, boo," Carl said."

"Yup. all trainers wanting to be gym leaders have to use rental Pokémon of our specialized type in battles against one of the elite 4 to show that we're capable of running a gym of our own. I had to face Bruno when I took the exam," brock explained."

"For me, I had to face Lorelei. she's kind of the main reason I wanted to be a Pokémon trainer in the first place," misty added as Lincoln imagined himself as a gym leader."

"He can definitely pull off being a gym leader," Clyde said."

"Big time," Ronnie Anne said."

"As I recall, you were fangirling everywhere when you first met her," brock commented causing misty to scowl at him."

"Shut up, brock!" misty said."

Everyone snickers.

"Ok, so that answers how someone becomes a gym leader, but what about becoming a member of the elite 4?" Lincoln asked curiously."

"Good question," Lynn sr. said."

"We... don't really know. that kind on info is kind of kept hush-hush. but if I had to take a guess, it would probably take something like skill beyond of a gym leader," brock replied as they continued to walk along the path, intent on checking out AJ's gym." still, I never heard of an unofficial Pokémon gym being out in the middle of nowhere. they're usually in small towns."

"Aw man, so it's kind of hush hush," Shiloh said."

"Maybe the owner wasn't able to build his gym in any nearby towns. though, his record is impressive, what with 98 wins and no losses," misty said."

'Huh, this AJ reminds me of Lynn, let's just hope he's not too much like a sore loser if AJ ever losses' Lincoln thought.' " Well, if it's on the way, we might as well check it out, right?"

Lynn winced and hoped AJ isn't like her.

"I bet he can break that streak," Margo said."

"I see no harm in that," misty replied."

"Yeah, I've kind of been curious on how an unofficial gym operates," brock added."

"Count me in too. I've been wanting to see how my training at cerulean cape had paid off," Pikachu said."

"Well, looks like we're all in agreement," Lincoln said as the continued walking along the path, until..."

"HI-YAH!" someone leapt from the bushes."

Pikachu reacted quickly to the oncoming threat, and unleashed iron tail, smacking the assailant away with a loud, metallic 'CLANG' sound. a few seconds passed before the assailant landed on his feet, but dropped his weapon, reeling from the pain of the iron tail.

"Ok, note to self: never try to take on a Pokémon's iron tail attack," the voice said."

Lincoln and misty then recognized the person in question.

"Samurai? is that you?" Lincoln asked."

the armor-clad boy looked at the two familiar faces.

"Hey, its samurai boy," Alexis said."

"Did he really had to do that? he can hurt someone with that sword," Myrtle said."

"I agree," Gale said."

"Oh, it's you two! my sincerest apologies for that surprise attack. it's been quite some time I last crossed paths with you. though, you got another companion," samurai observed noticing the only third member of the group was brock."

"This is brock, he's from pewter city and he's also the gym leader," Lincoln said introducing brock."

"Please to meet you," brock said."

"Likewise," samurai greeted back." so, how have you been?"

"Eh, a few bumps here and there, but otherwise going pretty smoothly. just the other day, I was able to earn my second badge from cerulean city," Lincoln replied."

"Impressive. after leaving the viridian forest, I was able to earn my first badge at the pewter gym," samurai said showing them his boulder badge."

"Nice. but why are you skipping the cerulean gym?" misty asked."

"I had attempted to challenge the cerulean gym, but the leaders there said that they weren't accepting challengers due to some kind of 'retraining'?" samurai replied."

That's understandable," Rita said."

"Well, at least mom's whipping those three back into shape," misty commented."

"So, how've you been doing Pokémon wise?" Lincoln asked."

"Quite well, as a matter of fact. I had heard of a process called 'wonder trading', and I exchanged some extra bug type Pokémon I caught in exchange for those other regions," samurai replied."

"Cool, I can't wait to see what he got," Carl said."

"Hey, how about that? we're doing wonder trading too! we managed to get some foreign Pokémon as well," Lincoln said."

"Hmm, how excellent. if I may ask, how many times have you each of you wonder traded?" samurai asked."

"I've traded six times, so far," Lincoln replied."

"I traded three times," misty added."

"I did it twice," brock added."

"What about you?" Lincoln asked."

"I've managed to acquire three new bug Pokémon from wonder trading," samurai replied."

"Of course he gets bug types," Lola said."

"Nice. by the way, do you know anything about the unofficial Pokémon gym that sign over there is advertising?" Lincoln asked pointing to the sign."

"I might know something about that AJ character you're referring to, and I'm willing to divulge some info regarding him, in exchange for something on your part." samurai replied."

"Like what?" Lincoln asked."

"Yeah, like what?" Kara asked."

"Simple, we finish what we started back in viridian forest," samurai replied."

"Oh," Kara said."

"Ah, I get where you're going with this. we couldn't finish our battle last time since the beedrill swarm," Lincoln said."

"Indeed. and I see no sign of them, so now would be the opportune time to battle," samurai said."

"Sounds like a plan," Lincoln said."

"And to sweeten the deal, I'll tell you what you want to know about AJ," samurai added."

"If we agree to use the same rules as we did back in the forest, then I'd say that's a deal!" Lincoln accepted."

"I'll act as referee. what were the rules in your battle?" brock asked."

"We each use two Pokémon. no substitutions until we score a knockout. two wins are required for victory," samurai explained."

"Very well. if both trainers understand the rules, then we shall begin the battle," brock said."

"Time to finish what they started," Stella said."

"Here's my first Pokémon!" samurai said tossing his pokeball, which released what appeared to be a purple scorpion like Pokémon with pincers on its tail." meet skorupi, one of the Pokémon I received from a wonder trade."

"Skorupi, huh?" Lincoln then pulled out his pokedex, and pointed it at the new Pokémon."

"Skorupi, the scorpion Pokémon, a poison and bug type. it grips opponents with its claws and injects poison. it then tenaciously hangs on until poison seeps in," dexter explained."

"Whoa, cool scorpion Pokémon," Lana said."

"A poison type... in that case, Kincaid, you're up!" Lincoln said, sending out Kincaid, who was battle ready."

"Lincoln! boy am I happy to see you again!" Kincaid said, as he was excited to see his trainer."

"Good to see you too. anyhow, you feel up to battle?" Lincoln asked."

"Been itching for a battle!" Kincaid replied confidently facing skorupi."

"I like his fighting spirit," Lance said."

"Given that your Pokémon sparkled upon materializing, am I to assume that it's a shiny Pokémon?" samurai asked."

"That's right. in fact, Kincaid here is one of the first Pokémon I got from a wonder trade," Lincoln replied."

"I see. glad to know that our first bout shall be between two wonder traded Pokémon," samurai commented."

"Alright, the first battle will be skorupi versus Kincaid, BEGIN! brock announced."

"Go Kincaid!" Skippy said."

"Skorupi, use hone claws!" samurai instructed."

skorupi began to slash its claws around in an odd manner. it then glowed red.

"A red glow means Skorupi must've powered up. since fairy type Pokémon are weak against poison type attacks, we need to make sure none of Skorupi's poison type moves make contact. Kincaid, use double team!" Lincoln instructed."

"Good idea Link," Nikki said."

after images of Kincaid then began appearing all over the battlefield.

"A clever strategy, but one that may prove fruitless. Skorupi, use poison sting!" samurai instructed."

Skorpui then began firing purple needles at the copies, until they finally struck Kincaid.

"Crud," Lynn said."

"Kincaid, you ok?" Lincoln asked."

"Y-Yeah. thankfully, that attack didn't poison me, even if I get poisoned it won't stop me," Kincaid replied."

"A real tough guy," Lance said."

"Go Kincaid!" Shiloh said."

"Alright. but it's weird how skorupi was able to pick out the real one from the copies," Lincoln commented."

"Info: hone claws: a dark type status move that increases the user's attack power and accuracy," dexter explained."

"Dang, that'll be a tough move to avoid," Shane said."

"Ah, I see. so now we have to be careful to avoid any close quarters battling. fortunately, Kincaid's great a long range. Use Psybeam!" Lincoln instructed."

Kincaid then fired off Psybeam, which was careening towards skorupi.

"Dodge it by using Dig!" samurai quickly instructed."

Skorupi then burrowed its way underground, just as Psybeem made contact where it once was.

"Darn it," Rusty said."

"Be careful Lincoln! dig is an attack move! there's no telling where Skorupi is going to pop up!" misty warned."

"He's right," Rocky said."

"Kincaid, try to sense where Skorupi is, then evade!" Lincoln instructed."

"I'll try! Kincaid replied as he began trying to sense Skorupi, when..."

"Now, poison tail!" samurai said."

Skorupi's tail erupted from the ground just below Kincaid. the claws were glowing purple, as they exploded, sending Kincaid back a few feet. purple bubbles then rose up from Kincaid.

"Ack, not good!" Lincoln exclaimed."

Definitely not good," Luna said."

"For you, anyhow. Skorupi, now use venoshock!" samurai instructed as Skorupi emerged from the ground."

it then fired an odd, purple liquid at Kincaid.

"Quick use Psybeam!" Lincoln instructed."

Kincaid once again fired psybeam, which passed by the venoshock. both attacks made contact, and both Pokémon were down for the count.

"Both Kincaid and Skorupi are unable to battle!" brock declared."

"Dang, a tie," Zach said."

"Better than losing," Sameer said."

samurai recalled skorupi, as Lincoln went to Kincaid's aid.

""I-I'm sorry, Lincoln," Kincaid sorrowfully said."

"Hey, don't worry about it. we'll just train some more, and you can get them next time." now get some rest," Lincoln said recalling Kincaid." so, what's the deal with that last attack, samurai?"

"You refer to venoshock, yes? it's quite the handy poison type move. if the opponent is poisoned, then the attack does more damage," samurai explained."

"That does sound like a useful move," Lucy said."

The morticians club nodded.

"Huh, never knew attacks like those existed. well, anyway, onto our next battle! and this one just got back from a little vacation!" Lincoln said. as he threw a pokeball, which sent out pidgeotto."

"Aww, yeah! back in the spotlight!" pigeotto cheered."

"That's right. she was with professor oak for a while, now she's ready for battle," Lincoln said."

"Heck yeah she is," Lynn said."

"I see. in that case, here a familiar face of my own!" samurai said tossing his second pokeball, releasing pinsir."

"Pinsir! haven't seen that one in a while," Lincoln commented."

Yay, Pinsir's back," Lana said."

"Yeah!" Skippy said."

"Alright, the second battle pinsir versus pidgeotto! BEGIN!" brock declared."

"Alright pidgeotto, let's start off with steel wing!" Lincoln instructed."

"Got it!" pidgeotto replied as her wings took on the metallic sheen of steel wing, and she swooped down at pinsir."

"Just let her get a little closer, pinsir!" samurai said as he and pinsir were anticipating the right opportunity." (it was when pidgeotto was right on top of pinsir when...) alright, now use vicegrip!"

pinsir then used its horns to grab pidgeotto, trapping her in place.

"Oh no, I forgot about the horns! hang in there, pidgeotto! I'll try to figure something out!" Lincoln called out."

"Dang it, I should've remembered that," Lincoln said."

"Whatever you do, do it fast! pinsir might..." Pigeotto said before being interrupted."

"Now, use seismic toss!" samurai said."

with pidgeotto still trapped in its horns, pinsir leapt high into the air, and spun around, throwing pidgeotto to the ground with a loud slamming noise.

"Do that," Kara said."

"Pidgeotto, are you alright?" Lincoln asked."

"Yeah, takes a lot more than that to take me down," pidgeotto replied."

"I like her fighting spirit," Lynn said."

"Looks like your pinsir's gotten stronger since the last time we battled," Lincoln commented."

"Indeed. though your pigeotto seems a bit sluggish," samurai observed."

"How rude," Leni said."

"What, I was relaxing for a little bit," pidgeotto said a little embarrassed."

"Now, now, we can get in some training between now and vermillion city," Lincoln said."

this seemed to cheer her up a little.

"That's good to hear," Margo said."

"Train all you wish, but we're in the middle of a battle right now, so pinsir, use tackle!" samurai instructed."

pinsir then charged it horns at pidgeotto.

"Pidgeotto, put some distance between you and pinsir then use gust!" Lincoln instructed."

"Alright then!" pidgeotto replied flying up and out of reach from pinsir, and began to flap her wings." (However, instead of gust she launched a barrage of blade like projectiles at pinsir, which seemed to damage the stag beetle Pokémon quite a bit. everyone there was very surprised, pidgeotto included)" that wasn't gust."

"No, it wasn't. what move could that have been?" Lincoln wondered."

"Yeah, what was it?" Shane asked."

"Info: air cutter: a special flying type move in which the user fires blade like projectiles at the opponent. critical hits land more easily. this move also happens to be one of pidgeotto's egg moves," dexter explained."

"That's awesome," Laird said."

"That would explain how pinsir took more damage than normal," samurai commented as pinsir got back up."

"That move can come in handy in future battles," Lincoln commented."

"Hell yeah it will!" pidgeotto proclaimed."

"Definitely," Paula said."

"But don't think we don't have a few tricks of our own. pinsir, use rock tomb!" samurai instructed." (pinsir then summoned rock tomb, and hurled the large rocks at pidgeotto, who attempted to evade the attack, but was hit by one of the rocks) we've got them now, pinsir! use vicegrip!" pinsir once again charged at pidgeotto."

"Do something fast bro," Luna said."

"Quick pidgeotto, pull up and use air cutter!" Lincoln called out."

pidgeotto snapped out of her daze and flew back up out of reach pinsir. she then fired off air cutter once more. this time, pinsir wasn't able to withstand the attack, and fell to defeat."

"Pinsir is unable to battle, the winner is pidgeotto, therefore, the battle goes to Lincoln!" brock declared."

"Wahoo! I knew she would win," Lynn said."

samurai recalled pinsir as pidgeotto swooped back down to Lincoln.

"Nicely done, pidgeotto," Lincoln praised."

"Naturally! though, I'm gonna be real here, I wasn't expecting to pick up one of my egg moves like that," pidgeotto said."

"I don't think any of us were," Lincoln said as he was approached by samurai."

"No one did," Ronnie Anne said."

"A battle well fought, Lincoln," samurai said extending his hand to the white-haired boy."

"I can say the same for you, samurai. you've been working hard since the last time we saw you," Lincoln said exchanging the gesture."

"So, now that Lincoln won, what can you tell us about AJ?" misty asked."

"Ah, yes I did agree to tell you what I know. well, I challenged his gym here a few days ago while searching for more bug type Pokémon, but I was defeated handily, and by just one Pokémon too," samurai explained."

"Just one Pokémon?" Lincoln asked in surprise."

"Only one, that's impressive," Lance said."

"Indeed. and if I can be honest, I doubt that even you could defeat him at your current skill level," samurai replied."

"Well, you never know until you try," Lincoln replied."

"Yeah, how would we know unless he tries," Lynn sr. said."

"I suppose, but remember, he's a very strong trainer," samurai warned."

"The bigger they are, the harder they fall," Lincoln replied."

"That's true," Leonard said."

"Very well. I shall lead you three to his gym, but don't say I didn't warn you," samurai said as he led three friends down the path they were walking on."

meanwhile, in Ronnie Anne's room nighttime,

"I wonder what going on with Ronnie Anne," Sid said."

"And that's pretty much what we want to do. Clyde and I want to experience what Lincoln is doing over in Japan ourselves. you can trust us to make decisions for ourselves, as well as to take care of ourselves out there. how'd that sound?" Ronnie Anne asked as she was engaged in a conference call with the Lincoln's friend group, which are Liam, Zach, rusty, girl Jordan, and stella, also including Margo, tabby, haiku, giggles, Paula, Chloe, and Polly pain."

"We could still stand to rework it, but I think we have somewhat of a chance of convincing our parents to let us follow in Lincoln's footsteps," Clyde said."

"Oh I see, Ronnie Anne and I are practicing giving a convincing our parents to let us join Lincoln," Clyde said."

"That makes sense," Ronnie Anne said."

"You two still have to prove how responsible you are," rusty said."

"They are responsible Rusty," Lincoln said."

Clyde and Ronnie Anne smile at that.

"I think you should try to schmooze your argument to them without directly stating what it is you want to do right up front," girl Jordan added."

"You mean like saying, our friend is traveling in a foreign land, and we want to give it a try ourselves'?" Polly asked."

"Sounds a bit crude a way of putting it. maybe you two should practice it with a little more tact," tabby replied."

"They make a good point," Lincoln said."

"We should meet up sometime tomorrow and go over how Clyde and I will break the news to our families," Ronnie Anne suggested."

"How about at Gus' games and grub? we should be able to have some degree of privacy there," Zach suggested."

"Sounds like a plan. I'll see you guys over there," Ronnie Anne said as she hung up, and went to crawl into bed." never expected them to agree to help me and Clyde."

"Of course we would help," Girl Jordan said."

she quietly mused, as she thought back to the other day, when she and Clyde told the others about Lincoln.

flashback, a few days ago,

Just outside of flip's food and fuel, Lincoln's friends along with the Sadie Hawkins girls, Clyde's girlfriend Chloe, Paula and Margo, who were just passing by, were bearing witness to the proprietor of the gas station getting arrested by police.

"I'm telling you, you got the wrong guy!" flip protested as he struggled to break free."

"Tell it to the judge. we've got enough evidence to lock you up and get this place shut down," one of the officers said as they threw flip into a squad car." also we got your buddies from our station who help cover your tracks as well, no one is protecting you."

flip saw Clyde and got mad.

"YOU, AFTER ALL DID FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIEND, THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?!" flip yelled."

"ITS KARMA FLIP," Clyde yelled back."

"what's that about," tabby asked."

"Yeah, knowing he got what's coming to him," Kara said."

"Oh that, Lincoln and I were his interns for a while, until flip tricked us into competing with each other, so we blackmailed him with the footage of the stuff he did," Clyde explained."

Everyone was shocked.

"Is that true?" Rita asked."

"Yup, everything Clyde said was true and here's the footage," Lincoln replied."

He showed the footage from the intern episode, the footage left everyone shocked and disgusted.

"That lousy!" Rita said."

"Easy honey, we'll deal with him when we get back," Lynn sr. said."

Rita calms down.

"Ok," Rita said."

"Humph, serves that guy right for all the disgusting things he does in that store," girl Jordan said lacking any sympathy for flip."

"You mean the re-dated expired milk, the sock in the nacho cheese dispenser, or the fact the hoards winning lottery tickets for himself, and those side businesses with a different name?" tabby asked."

"All of the above," girl Jordan replied."

"I can't believe he had someone covering for him," Harold said."

"We can," Lincoln muttered thinking about Flip's identical cousin Flop."

"at least we can still enjoy these flippees," giggles said."

"I mean seriously, how did he NOT get arrested before now?" Liam questioned rhetorically."

"Maybe his cousin Flop was covering for him," Leni said."

The louds thought it over.

"Maybe we should change the subject? I'm feeling a bit queasy just thinking about it," stella pleaded."

"Hey, you guys are Lincoln's friends, right?" Paula asked."

"Yeah, that's right, hey babe," rusty replied as he winks at Polly making her blush."

Polly blushes as well.

"At least he stops flirting with other girls," she said."

"Yup," Rusty said."

"In that case do you know where he is? I want to ask him about what Lynn's got against him," Margo asked."

Lynn flinched.

"Yeah, me too, I was wondering why you two called us here, and not just to watch flip get arrested," Liam asked."

Clyde froze up. he and Ronnie Anne weren't sure how to explain the situation to them WITHOUT them going straight to the police.

"But why not go to Lynn directly?" giggles asked."

"Tried that already. I got turned away by fer folks. guess she got into some serious trouble," Margo replied."

"Yup," Shane said."

"Humph, serves her right for what she did," Ronnie Anne grumbled only to realize she slipped up having spoken her thoughts out loud."

"Wait, so do you guys know what she's in trouble for?" Polly asked."

Clyde sighed in defeat, then looked at Ronnie Anne she nodded knowing what they had to do.

"If we tell the ten of you, we want you guys to promise to keep it between us, ok?" Clyde asked."

the group were now concerned.

"Depends, what's the deal with Lynn's family?" Margo asked crossing her arms."

"Well, here's the thing," Ronnie Anne replied as she explained everything."

And now they know," Lincoln said."

"Please tell me you're joking," giggles asked her tone deadly serious as she and the others were horrified upon learning about what the louds did to the lone son."

"I wish I was, but it's all true. Lynn blamed her loss against the lions on Lincoln, claiming he was bad luck. then, after he lied about it to his family, they kicked him out of the house in an attempt to save themselves from the supposed 'bad luck'," Ronnie Anne replied."

"And after another game that Lincoln never attended, she still blamed him for the loss, which prompted their grandfather to suggest sending him to an isolated country just off the coast of Japan to do some kind of zoological field work, involving amazing animals called 'Pokémon'," Clyde added."

The louds mostly Lynn felt guilty.

"So, am I right in assuming that she did something really stupid after the game against the beavers?" Margo asked."

"Yeah. when we visited the loud house the other day to talk to Lincoln about his adventures, Lynn thought it was a good idea to brag about how they sold his furniture and were planning a beach day without him, all because she wanted him miserable as punishment for being accused of ruining her game. I managed to sock her good," Ronnie Anne replied."

Margo was in complete shock, as she slumped down on a bench.

Lynn was feeling worse.

"I never thought that lynnsanity, er, I mean, Lynn, would take a loss that far," Margo commented trying to wrap her head around what she had just heard."

"But what about the rest of the family?" Tabby asked."

"Since the last time we visited, Lincoln's managed to only forgive his mom, dad, Leni, Lucy, Lana, and Lisa for what they did. as for Lori, Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lola, I doubt any of them have even made an attempt to apologize," Clyde replied."

"I think Luna and Luan might apologize next," Sam said."

"I agree," Benny said."

Luna and Luan smile at that.

I was asked by Lana to bring this one to the pond because she's helping his other Pokémon in training."

the ball opened up, releasing poliwhirl.

"Well, we'll just see how things pan out in battle. after all, I haven't lost a battle yet, and I'm not planning to lose now," Lincoln said."

as they enter the gym, the trainers saw it in shambles with really injured Pokémon and a burly teenager injured as well with a boy with red hair and the top shaped as an X, a white shirt with a black jacket, red pants, and black boots revealing to be Cross. standing next to him was a big red cat looking like a wrestler holding a sandshrew in its hand, and the same red wolf like Pokémon at trapped Damian revealing to be lyconroc dusk form.

Everyone was shocked seeing the gym in shambles.

"What the heck?!" Lynn said."

"Hey, it's that guy who hurt Damian," Leni said."

"Hey, what are doing?" Lincoln yelled."

the red hair boy turned around seeing the group and grinning.

"AJ, what a happened?" samurai asked helping him up."

"He beat me," Aj groaned in pain."

"I beat him because he was weak, so weak my Pokémon barley broke a sweat," Cross said he snapped his fingers making his big red cat Pokémon toss Aj's sandshrew to him and sends them to a wall."

"Talk about cruel," Dana said."

"Who do you think you are?" misty asked upset."

"I'm Cross, you pathetic bimbo," Cross replied smirking until he noticed Lincoln's rainbow wing in a container around his neck."

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME," misty yelled as Lincoln remembered Crosses name."

"How dare he call her that?!" Becky said."

"Wait, Damian told me a trainer named Cross left him for dead for three days," Lincoln said."

"So, he's still alive huh?" Cross asked."

"Damn right he's alive, and I heard that you're looking for me," Lincoln replied."

"You guessed it, because it's weird that a white-haired freak outsider was given the rainbow wing by ho-oh," Cross said."

"who're you calling a freak!" Lincoln said upset." let's have a battle then jerk!"

"Yeah, teach that jerk a lesson!" Shiloh said."

"Count me in too," samurai said as he stands next to Lincoln."

"Two against one this'll be too easy," cross said."

Cross stood on one side of the battlefield while Lincoln and samurai stood on the other side, misty was treating AJ and his sandshrew's injuries as brock stands in the middle looking at Cross with disgust.

"I'll be the referee, so that there won't be any cheats," brock said."

"Who cares, you two go," Cross said as lyconroc and the wrestler cat Pokémon took the stage, as Lincoln pulls out his pokedex."

"They don't look so tough," Lynn said."

"Incineroar, the heel Pokémon, a fire and dark type Pokémon, it finds beating weak opponents boring, it's flame belt increases the more it battles it gets stronger," dexter explained."

"It doesn't look so tough, firestorm lets go," Lincoln said tossing out and releasing firestorm on the field."

"Link who's that?" firestorm asked."

"he's the guy, who nearly killed Damian," Lincoln replied shocking firestorm."

"WHAT?!" firestorm yelled."

"Firestorm, let's get payback," Lincoln said."

"Yeah, payback time," firestorm."

"Yeah!" Shelby said."

"Scyther lets go," samurai said as he tossed his pokeball releasing a mantis like Pokémon with swordlike hands."

Lincoln points his pokedex at Scyther.

"Scyther, the mantis Pokémon, a bug type, it slashes through grass with sharp scythes, it moves too fast for humans to keep track," dexter explained."

"Cool mantis Pokémon," Lana said."

"New Pokémon?" Lincoln asked."

"Yup, from a wonder trade," samurai replied."

"Ok, then let's do this," Lincoln said."

"Alright, let the two on one battle begin," brock said."

"scyther, use fury cutter on lyconroc," samurai instructed as scyther flew towards lyconroc."

"Use stone edge," Cross instructed making lyconroc punch the ground making rocks rise up, hitting scyther on the side."

"Now use rapid punch!" Cross instructed as lyconroc punched scyther multicable times all the way hitting samurai as the final punch sends them flying to a wall knocking them out."

"Whoa, I take back what I said," Lynn said."

"Samurai!" Lincoln yelled." firestorm use fire fang!"

firestorm bites down on incineroar's arm but it didn't hurt much.

"Uh oh," Lily said."

"Use cross chop," Cross instructed as incineroar nocked firestorm off its arm then use a cross chop on him." Now, use throat chop!" Cross incineroar crosses it arms and lands on firestorm hurting him and knocking him out."

"Firestorm!" Lynn said."

"The battle didn't even last long," Francisco said."

"This battle is over, Cross is the winner," brock said."

"You lose, and ho-ho gave trash like you a rainbow wing," cross mocked as Lincoln was holding firestorm who was coming too."

"Are talking about yourself?" Lincoln asked angering Cross."

"Burn!" Carl said."

Cross snaps his fingers making incineroar lung at fire storm with a Firey fist, Lincoln saw it coming and he jump Infront of the fist, getting hit in the stomach surprising firestorm, feeling the burn on his stomach.

Everyone was shocked seeing that making Lynn sr., Howard, and Frida faint.

"Lincoln no!" Leni said."

"That lousy jerk!" Lola said."

"The underworld awaits him," Lucy said."

"I otta slug him!" Ronnie Anne said."

"What kind of trainer attacks a knocked-out Pokémon that's still injured?" Lincoln asked while groaning from the pain from incineroar's fire punch."

"A trainer that gets rid of trash," cross replied."

"Then why is he still around?" Luan asked."

Everyone laughs.

"That's enough, I could have your license revolt for this behavior," brock said."

"Yeah, we should," misty added."

"You definitely should," Rita said."

"I agree," Maria said."

"No, I recommend you don't," Lincoln said surprising brock and misty." let's make a deal."

"A deal?!" Rita said as the fainted adults come too."

"What kind of deal?" Cross asked."

"we'll settle our rematch at the Pokémon league, if I win you take back everything you said about trainers and apologize to Damian and AJ, but if you win, I'll give you my rainbow wing!" Lincoln replied surprising brock and misty."

"What?!" everyone said."

Cross started grinning hearing Lincoln's deal.

"Sounds like a good deal, alright I accept the deal, just to let you know I already have 8 badges," Cross said as he showed his badge case revealing all 8 badges surprising the trainers."

"So, until then I'll see you at the league," Cross said as he recalls his two Pokémon and leaves."

"It's like the deal Mr. Miyagi made with john kreese in the karate kid," Par said."

"Yeah, no one touches the prima donna until the tournament," Gavin said."

"Lincoln are nuts, making a deal with that guy," misty asked with concern."

"No, I'm not, I just gotta get stronger and I'll be ready for him," Lincoln replied as he clutched on his stomach still hurting from incineroar's attack, not noticing firestorm feeling weak and guilt for letting his trainer protect him."

"Firestorm looks sad," Shelby said."

"I don't blame him after seeing Lincoln protect him," Shane said."

"Well for starters, we should first get that injury healed up," brock said."

"WHAT?" misty asked shocked."

"Misty, Lincoln knows what he's doing, I mean who else could put Cross in his place," brock replied."

"Thanks brock, I'll take this experience as a lesson," Lincoln said."

"Yeah, it's my first lost and I'll learn from it to improve," Lincoln said."
