Moving Out in the Burning Morning
After the strange and thankful rescue of the two kids and dog, Jaune and Pyrrha hurry inside the house with the others safely and having Shizuka doing a medical checkup on the kids and dog, Jaune stay out for a moment seeing the zombies in the other direction of the loud noises.
"Whoever that was, I hope we'll meet him or her to thank for the help." Jaune said.
"I'm sure we will, but right now, we need to check on those kids." Pyrrha reminded him of the two they rescued.
"Right." Jaune nodded and enter the house.
It took everyone ten minutes to calm down from all the stress that has been going on and another ten for the kids of gather their thoughts before they can speak.
"Thank you for letting us in, I don't think what we would do if we reminded outside." Oscar thanked with a soft smile.
"No problem, I guess you could say we're the superhero of the end kind of people." Ruby said with her cute smile making Oscar blush.
"We are?" Mercury asked in confusion, Emerald smack him on the side with her elbow giving him a narrow eye look.
"I mean, sure… I think we are." Mercury shrugged nervously causing Emerald to sigh.
"You guys are the first we rescued in the first… four days?" Sun counted though not sure if he got the number right.
"Three days, it's very late and will be midnight soon meaning it will be four days since the zombies showed up." Blake explained a little.
"Great, you can count." Mercury exclaimed.
"Are you ever going to stop complaining?" Coco asked raising an eyebrow.
"It's only my opinion but thinking about counting the days of how the world became like this is pointless and will only cause some negative emotions to pop up." Mercury stated.
"Well, regardless of what some of you may think, I'm still grateful for the big save." Oscar smiled.
"Y-Yeah, thank you very much." Alice nodded and the dog barks in agreement.
"Glad we could help, your names are Oscar and Alice, right?" Pyrrha asked wanting to make she heard their names right.
"That's right, and this house seems way nicer than the ones we were at a few moments ago before coming here." Oscar commented.
"What happened at the last house?" Yang asked.
"Some asshole killed the girl's father when he begged to be let in and apparently Oscar was with them before coming to this area." Jaune explained.
"That fuck! I can't they would do that, especially when it involves the life of a little girl!" Yang shouted in rage and seemingly her eyes turned red to match the color of the mood.
"Normally, I don't sound curse words, but I would like those fuckers to go to Hell!" Velvet pouted in anger.
"Velvet, where have you been keeping that side of you from me." Coco smirked with her hands on her Velvet's stomach making her blush.
"You know, I don't think I've seen you in this city before and I know most of the people since moving here from my hometown last year." Sun noticed that Oscar doesn't seem to be from around here.
"You're right, I'm actually from the countryside of my family's farm. I came to the city for a sudden to a pen pal of mine to meet with him, but only sometime after I arrived zombies started showing up like crazy almost like I found myself in those weird but horrifying movies. Next thing I knew, I was running for my life for a day until I ran into Alice and her dad." Oscar explained about himself a little.
"Oh man, now our town is going to become a famous ghost town with only zombies instead of ghosts." Mercury exclaimed.
"Not if we can help it!" Jaune said dramatically with his fist in the air.
"What, you mean like find the cause of the zombie infection and cure some people before they go full on zombie crazy?" Weiss asked with her fists on her hips.
"I mean, well… I don't know, I just wanted to sound cool to help lift our spirits, but I definitely refuse to let our lives become one with the dead!" Jaune determined.
"So, what now?" Ruby asked.
"There is only one thing I can think of and that is for us to move out." Jaune suggested.
"As in leave the awesome comfy home we just found to get away from the zombies?" Neptune gulped in fear.
"Surprisingly, I actually agree with Jaune on this one. We can't stay here forever." Weiss stated.
"Hold on, Snow Angel, don't you think it would be safer to stay here?" Neptune asked clearly showing that he doesn't want to go outside again with the zombies still out there.
"Oh, so that means you don't want to see your family again?" Weiss crossed her arms and raise an eyebrow at her boyfriend.
"I… I never said that." Neptune exclaimed, now finding himself in a difficult position.
"Then you remember that everyone else here wants to go find their families and save them from becoming zombies, and that would mean we got to find a new home for all of us to live in." Weiss pointed out.
"This place could be the ideal one." Nora pointed out.
"I'm afraid that's not the case, this place is big for the current number of our group, but I'm afraid with more should we find our family even this place won't be suitable to live in for long." Ren pointed out.
"There also the zombies, if we bring more people here than that could cause some ruckus to bring them here." Saeko added.
"Aw man, so we really are leaving." Neptune sighed, hanging his head in defeat.
"I know you don't to face the danger again, but we must in order to fight off the end and keep on surviving." Weiss said holding his head to face hers.
"Does that mean we're leaving too?" Alice asked worry.
"That's right, but you'll be coming with us to keep you safe from those big mean zombies." Glynda said an assuring smile.
"You remind me of my old teacher, she was really nice and trustful to my daddy, so I'll trust you." Alice smiled.
"(Oh dear, I'm suddenly feeling like I just became a mother.)" Glynda thought shocked with her cheeks blushing.
"Okay, so when do we leave?" Neptune asked sighing.
"Perhaps the best time to leave would be in the morning, right after having breakfast to keep up our energy or else we may end up dead before we could have lunch." Ren suggested.
"At least say it without making a straight face like that." Neptune gasped leaning back a little.
"Hey, don't make fun of my man's face!" Nora angered holding up her fist.
"Though you have to admit, Ren's face is the most calm out of all of us." Yang commented.
"Yeah, but that also got me worried about the saying "it's the quiet ones you have to on the lookout for", or something like that." Coco mentioned.
"That's because Ren comes from a family of ninjas!" Nora bragged with a proud smile.
"I thought ninjas would always hide their faces?" Oscar remembered hearing about that.
"Wait, why are we talking about ninjas all of a sudden?" Ruby confused of where this conversation is going.
"Okay, we can talk about ninjas after we leave this place." Jaune decided to drop the sudden ninja talk.
"Oh, but I was hoping to stay here a little longer until Rika comes." Shizuka exclaimed sadly.
"Sorry, Shizuka, but I'm afraid we're gonna have to leave her a note telling her we're going somewhere else." Jaune said.
"Alright, now let get ourselves ready." Jaune ordered as everyone went to sleep.
(Morning)
Everyone woke up seven in the morning having Ren's breakfast and packing whatever they need in the car tank which is big enough for everyone to get on board, and Alice is having a little bit of fun time with the dog.
"Here's the ball, go get it, Zero!" Alice threw the ball for the dog now named Zero to go fetch it.
"I see the new girl has cheered up." Emerald noticed with a soft smile.
"Considered the shit she went through, I'm happy to see her like this because no kid should've to gone through like this." Blake smiled of seeing a happy child.
"The only problem is the constant zombie attacks that will ruin any future children life after hers." Glynda sighed worry.
"Yeah, me and the girls have been planning on getting kids together after finish high school, but now I'm not sure so sure to bring new life into this world." Sun scratched the back of his head.
"We'll figure something out, and if this isn't safe by the time our children are born then perhaps someday our descendant will." Blake believed holding his hand.
Sun smiles at his girlfriend feeling a strong sense of hope that maybe there is a chance for this world no matter how dark and freaky the world is becoming, he can always count on Blake and Yang to light up his darkness along with feeling how awesome he is with having these girls by his side forever and more.
"Although, I do not remember planning on having kids after high school. We agreed to have kids after we graduate college." Blake recalled making Sun flinch.
"Well, I mean…" Sun chuckled nervously as he tries to come up with an excuse of what he just said moments ago.
"Does it really matter when we'll have kids exactly? With the world as it is now, I think I any man and woman would think about having kids earlier than planned." Yang pointed out.
"Yeah, what she said which I was totally thinking as well." Sun nodded quickly.
"Guys, we're all good to go!" Jaune called out to everyone.
"And good news, we can use the tank-car to drive through river to get to the other side!" Weiss informed as Neptune shakes a little in fear of the water.
"That is good news." Saeko commented.
"But is that really a good idea? I mean we all know Neptune is afraid of the water." Sun mentioned.
"Hahahaha! Good joke, Sun! Nice, me being afraid of water, like that's fucking real." Neptune faked laughing while getting in the car.
"Is he even aware that we already know?" Coco wondered.
"Neptune went a drama years ago, but that's all he ever told me and refuse to tell me more." Weiss explained.
"Let just get going!" Neptune yelled.
Everyone looks at each other for a moment as Yang shrugs think they should just drop the subject they do not want him to go insane on them.
(Later, Through the River)
The tank-car is now going through river just as Weiss told them making Jaune and Shizuka really glad that Rika got this sweet ride, and now they won't have to worry about the struggles of swimming through that is very much relief to Neptune even though he is shaken up within the vehicle.
Ruby is enjoying time with Alice on the top singing a classic row the boat song though with the lyrics being different like wit killing zombies.
"Ruby Rose! Stop singing that song or do you want to destroy Alice's innocents!" Weiss scolded.
"I'm just trying to make the trip cheerful." Ruby said.
"Well, we don't need songs that could keep reminding us of the things that are trying to kill us every day from now on!" Weiss scolded again.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Weiss seems destined to be a mom." Shizuka commented.
"She gets that impression from old ladies too." Yang chuckled.
"Does that mean she's going to be a granny at that age too?" Sun joked with a silly grin.
"I heard that!" Weiss yelled causing Sun and Yang flinches.
"Are you enjoying the view, Alice?" Jaune asked.
"Yeah, this car is really cool! It's going through the water like a boat and we're already close to the other side!" Alice amazed with a cute smile and Zero is barking.
"Hey, do you think this car can also transform into boat if I were to press a red button?" Shizuka wondered as she looks around.
"I'm not sure if Rika even thought of that." Pyrrha sweatdropped.
Pyrrha turn her sight forward through the windshield seeing that everything is fine so far though she can't let her guard down, there could be zombies on the upside from the river and it looks like her fear came true when she spotted two zombies.
"Heads up, everyone. There are two zombies on our left." Pyrrha alerted.
"Only two? That doesn't seem to zom-Be bad." Yang punned.
"Come on, Alice, let's go back down in the car." Ruby said as she and Alice are about to enter the car-tank for safety.
But then Zero barks loudly at one direction from the zombies which got the two girls' attention as they see something else on the shore, and they are shocked to see that it seems to be a dog walking towards the car-tank.
"Oh, I think Zero wants to help that dog." Alice figured out.
"Hold on, Zero doesn't sound like he wants to help that dog." Ruby noticed the tone in Zero's barking, like how her family dog Zewi would sound when there is something bad approaching.
That's when the horrible truth of the dog that is approaching the car reveal itself when the dog's head starts to literally open its mouth wider and further down the throat, showing to have dozens of teeth and giving off a loud and eerie howl.
"ZOMBIE DOG?!" Ruby and Alice screamed at the same time and Zero just kept barking at the zombie dog.
"Seriously? Since when are zombie dogs a thing?" Coco shocked.
"But seeing that here suddenly makes me feel a bunny on hunting season!" Velvet asked herself shaking in fear behind Coco.
The zombie dog runs toward the car with the speed that is faster than a normal dog.
"Holy shit, and this zombie is fast too!" Sun gasped.
"Prepare yourselves!" Jaune warned as he is about to grab onto his weapon as the others are doing the same with Shizuka still at the wheel.
Just as the zombie dog is about to jump towards the car, an arrow suddenly appears piercing through its head and exploded destroying the zombie dog in one shot.
"Huh?" Jaune and everyone shocked of confusion of this sudden save from an unknown force.
"What the doggy dog world just happened?" Sun asked with a joke.
"An exploding arrow to the head?" Oscar answered obviously whole being shocked at the same time.
Suddenly the same kind of exploding arrows hit the zombies on the head putting them down as well.
"Whoa, it's like death for zombies are raining down." Emerald commented sticking half of her body out the window.
"Emerald, what have I told you about sticking out the window like that?" A woman shouted in a scolding tone.
"Huh?" Emerald gasped upon hearing that voice.
"No way, is that…?" Emerald jumped out of the car.
"Mom, is that you?" Emerald called out.
"I would tell you not to shout so loud, but I believe that is fine with no zombies in the area since I already took care of that." The woman revealed herself.
"Damn, looks like she really did survive." Mercury chuckled.
This woman has fair skin with short ashen-black hair that covers her left eye. She has bright amber eyes and is appears to be very young. She wears a long, dark red dress with one long, wide sleeve hiding her left arm. The edges of the collar and the opening for the right arm are gold-colored, and the upper chest and left sleeve are decorated with golden designs. The right side of her dress is open from the hip down with two gold-colored straps made of interwoven ropes connecting the front half to the back half of her thigh. Under the dress, she appears to wear black pantyhose. On the right hip, the dress has a black rhombus-shaped gem set in a gold-colored metal of the same shape, with feathers of varying shades of blue extending from the bottom of it. On her right arm she wears a long, gray glove, the top of which has a gold-colored metal ring with curvy branching extensions going up to her arm. Her right ear has a new ring-shaped earring higher up than the dangling black gem earring. Breasts sizes: H-cup.
"Mom!" Emerald smiled yelling of joy running up and hugging Cinder strongly.
"I'm happy to see you too, my precious emerald jewel." Cinder smiled with tears coming from her right eye and returning the hug.

Jaune's Group has decided to leave the house to continue their deadly adventure to find their families as they finally cross the river, but they make to unexpected discoveries with one being a new zombie dog sighting and the other is being Emerald's mother known as Cinder.
