Quest for Supplies then Mother Raven
"Guys! It's okay, this one is not dead!" Emerald called out to the group.
"Well, at least that's one great news we heard all day." Mercury chuckled as everyone else exit the tank-car.
"I see you're still alive, Mercury. Guess that means you have yet to find a girlfriend yet." Cinder smirked making the gray hair boy flinch of a little pain.
"I see you still have sharp tongue of yours." Mercury gritted his teeth a bit.
"Oh, so you must be Emerald's mom. It's nice to meet you, I'm Jaune Arc and this is about everyone in our group." Jaune introduced himself as everyone else greeted her.
"Nice to meet you all, and I would also like to thank you for protecting my precious jewel." Cinder smiled and hugging Emerald onto her again.
"Mom! Don't call me that in front of my friends, it's embarrassing!" Emerald exclaimed with her face blushing like that. Even in a zombie infesting world, a mother's duty to embarrass her kids will never change just like this very moment.
"Oh, so now you think of us as friends." Nora teased with a smirk making Emerald blush a little more.
"Well, it's only fair since we managed to survive this long." Emerald proclaimed.
"(Aw, she's so cute when she's blushing like that.)" Jaune thought chuckled and Shizuka giggles.
"Well, there are two familiar faces I wasn't expecting to see anytime soon." Cinder looked over to see Shizuka and Glynda.
"It's good to see you again, Cinder and it seems you've been keeping up with your archery skills." Glynda greeted with a smile.
"Wow! I feel like it's been forever since I last saw you and you're looking forward for your age, by the way." Shizuka complained and giving Cinder a warm hug, with her face on the nurse's boobs.
"I see you're still big in a way or two." Cinder giggled mumble.
"You three know each other?" Blake asked curious.
"Yes, Cinder was once one of my students and top of the school at the time even when she was pregnant and raising her daughter by herself. I offered help care for the child whenever I have some free time." Glynda revealed with a hand on Emerald's shoulder.
"And I know Cinder because she used to live in the same neighborhood years ago and was a sub teacher for some time in my class." Shizuka mentioned.
"You were quite the air head, but you had a hidden talent for medical knowledge and thought of you going for big things than being a high school nurse." Cinder stated.
"Going for the big hospitals was too much of a hassle for me, and the school is much calmer and I get visit from some students who want to do some health checkups which is very sweet of them to relay on me." Shizuka stated.
"Those guys only came to you because they were perverts and just wanted to look at your naked body." Jaune revealed with a deadpan expression.
"Huh, you're kidding, right?" Shizuka asked shock.
"I'm afraid not, aunty." Jaune shook his head making his aunt/lover groan in sadness.
"You know, now that you mention it, it's starting to make sense now with the weird looks they've been giving me. I thought it was like the lunch lady made her food bad again." Shizuka said with a calm face again.
"Well, that's half the reason, yes." Pyrrha nodded.
"So, I take it you've been the one handling the zombies in the area before we got here?" Ren asked.
"That's right, me along with another have been killing most of the zombies here to make absolutely sure that if there are any survivors coming this way by chance then we clear a path." Cinder answered.
"Good thing we decided to come here from the other side of the river." Saeko smiled.
"I'm also glad to see that Emerald have made so many new friends than just Mercury." Cinder smiled with her hands together.
"You're making it sound like I'm a bad influence." Mercury smirked.
"Anyway, we're out here trying to see if we can find anyone else that might need help while searching for our family." Emerald explained to his mom.
"We already found you, so I think we can cross that off the list." Coco commented.
"Are you out here doing the same?" Glynda asked.
"Not quite, me and my partner are out here to get some supplies from the store that is somewhat still intact while the going is good." Cinder answered.
"I love the arrows you used to make the zombies' head explode, can you show me how to make them?" Velvet asked intrigue of her crafting skills.
"You seem to have the skills of a craftsman." Cinder commented looking at Velvet's hands.
"Well, it's kind of a hobby that I like putting things together into a combination of sort." Velvet blushed and pressing her fingers together.
"Does that mean we can get some food? I'm getting a little hungry." Alice asked as she rubs her stomach.
"Oh, and who is this adorable little girl?" Cinder kneeled down to and cup Alice's cheeks with her hands.
"Her name is Alice; she just lost her father lost night to some idiots for refusing to let us into their home and we would've been killed by the zombies if Jaune and the others haven't come help us." Oscar explained.
"Not to mention there was also this loud booming sound from a radio that threw the zombies off from us." Velvet added.
"A booming sound from a radio? Now that's an odd way to survive." Cinder commented.
"Maybe so, but it was a good odd for us to get away and be with these guys." Oscar smiled.
"Yeah, they're really nice and I even sang a song with Ruby." Alice nodded making Ruby blush.
"And the ones who left you all to die, did they die?" Cinder asked with her eyes narrow.
"I don't think so, we just went back inside the house we were at and left in the morning as soon as we can." Jaune shrugged.
"Though I believe those fools will not last long in this living Hell. Perhaps they might have a few days or weeks, give or take." Weiss stated.
"Wow, that sounded really scary right now." Sun surprised.
"Hey mom, I've been trying to call you for a few days but you never picked up and the cell signals are still good too, so what gives?" Emerald asked.
"I'm very sorry, sweetie. I wanted to respond to you, but I was afraid about other people listening in to our calls and there are also the fact there used to lots of zombies around. So, even whispering to your calls wasn't a safe bet." Cinder explained her reason.
"That does seem to be the case, you can never know what goes on in this new life." Glynda nodded.
Everyone took a moment of silence knowing how right Glynda and Cinder are about this kind of situation that even a single phone call could end one's life, they will need to be extra careful with how they use the tools they have in their hands and making sure it doesn't hurt the others even though that is going to be very difficult.
"Anyway, think we can help find some food with you?" Oscar asked wanting to change the subject.
"Sure, come with me and I know another woman will be happy to see the two of you." Cinder nodded though confuses the others.
Shizuka drove the tank-car up the hill even though it almost gave some a heart attack with the way she drives, and they go through a few streets as Jaune looks around seeing the place empty of both people and zombies.
"Damn, you and this partner of yours must've really clear things out." Jaune impressed.
"The zombies were one thing, but there were other things that made it complicated." Cinder said looking down a little.
"Other things?" Ruby wondered what she could mean by that.
"She means other humans." Blake pointed out.
"That means there were other humans who just took this zombie upbringing into an insane level beyond saving." Mercury stated.
"Yep, we had to deal with four of them and one was a mother clinging onto the dead body of her daughter refusing to admit she's dead." Cinder recalled that right, feeling her hands shaking a little.
"Well, then we better make sure that doesn't happen to us." Emerald determined, holding onto her mom's hands.
Cinder smiles believing that her daughter is right as they will make it through this together and more people willing to help will make things a little better too.
"There, the store we we're getting the supplies." Cinder pointed ahead.
The group looks on ahead seeing the store to be none other than WALMART, one of the greatest stores to shop at besides Target and the online shop Amazon, and the place is still in one piece despite everything that has been going on around here.
"Wow, never thought I'd see this place again." Coco smirked.
"Be careful of what you want to find, since the Zombie-Apocalypse, everyone have been freaking out trying to take whatever they can to shelter themselves back home try to hide here." Cinder informed.
"That means there may not be anything left for us." Sun sighed.
"Actually, there still is plenty because one of the insane people I just mentioned used to run this store was dead-set on getting everything under control." Cinder mentioned.
"And by dead set, you mean…" Jaune paused as he feels a little afraid of asking the question.
"Unfortunately, I had to take him down before he could become a problem to other people in the near future." Cinder looked at her bow.
"In fact, you could say he gave me this." Cinder moved up her sleeve on her left shoulder showing a big scar.
Emerald gasp upon seeing the scar as she never saw anything damaging to her mom's perfect skin until now, and she always thought her mom was a strong woman that she couldn't be taken down by anyone who gets in her way.
"Oh shit, that must've hurt." Neptune grossed out and got a smack on the stomach by Weiss.
"It did, the former store owner wouldn't go down without trying to take me with him, but he only got my eye in the end." Cinder stated.
"Does it hurt?" Emerald asked with her hand close to the scar.
"It still does, but it's only a little sting and I've been managing with some bandages and medicines we've been able to get our hands on." Cinder assured that she's fine.
"You better have been using some medical ointment on that otherwise it's going to get infected and make you sick." Shizuka advised concern.
"Don't worry, Doctor Shizuka, I've been taking them." Cinder giggled.
"I have to say, it does make you look hot." Jaune complimented.
"Oh my, you never told me this one would be good with words." Cinder smiled shooting a sexy look at Jaune.
"Mom, please!" Emerald embarrassed.
"Are you looking into older women, Jaune?" Cinder asked.
"Well, I have Pyrrha and Aunt Shizuka." Jaune mentioned with his cheeks blushing and feeling a bit shy.
"Oh, I see you're quite fit. Are by any chance looking into my daughter as well?" Cinder asked with a grin.
"Mom! Weren't you going to introduce us to your partner in Walmart?" Emerald asked screaming of embarrassment and her face blushing too.
"Oh yes, I almost forgotten about that." Cinder decided to cool it with the flirting, for now.
"I am so sorry, mom rarely does that and I'm not sure why she would be gunning for you." Emerald apologized.
"Are you saying that our Jaune isn't manly enough for you to handle?" Shizuka asked looking a little upset.
"What? No, can we please not talk about this when there's a little kid here." Emerald gestured to Alice.
"Emerald's right, we should be focusing on helping Cinder with getting the supplies and hopefully this partner would be willing to help us too." Jaune stated as the group walk into the store.
As expect of the once known famous shopping store, the place is completely empty of people and the bursting of energies from the shoppers, the place even looks more messy then a person's bedroom that hasn't been cleaned in weeks only on a much larger scale.
"Wow, Walmart used to feel all happy and stuff. But now I just feel all sad and nothing like this store." Ruby stated looking really sad.
"It's not all bad, Ruby. Walmart can still be a great place to shop with everything now free, and we could make into a temporary home if we want." Yang pointed out.
"If we have the resources, we could." Blake said.
"I'm with Blake on this one, we're gonna have to keep moving forward if we want to survive." Sun agreed.
"But that doesn't mean we can't make new happy memories together." Sun smiled at Ruby who smiles back.
"So, where is your partner?" Jaune asked.
"Heads up!" Nora shouted in shock as a bent shopping cart came flying at the group.
Everyone got out of the way except for Saeko who holds out her black sword and smack it away outside crashing into the parking lot with one swing from one arm.
"What in the animal kingdom was that?" Alice asked shock.
"Another crazy person trying to attack people on sight?" Jaune guessed.
"Leave now if you know what's good for you!" A woman shouted in rage.
"(Wait a minute, that voice!)" Yang thought shocked of recognizing that voice.
"Raven, calm down! These people are harmless, my daughter is even with them and has made friends with them!" Cinder assured.
"I do I know they aren't forcing you to say all that?" The woman known as Raven asked.
"Mom! It's me, Yang!" Yang called out.
"Mom?" Weiss puzzled.
"Yang?" Raven surprised to hear that voice and name.
The woman comes out of hiding to reveal herself to Yang who is both shocked and feeling happy to see her again.
Raven looks very similar to Yang; they share the same facial shape and long, bushy hair. However, Raven's hair is jet black, her eyebrows are a little bit higher, her complexion is significantly lighter and slight age lines are under her red eyes. Her hair is tied by a red bandanna and loosely done up in a ponytail with the ends resembling curved black feathers. A cowlick can be seen protruding from the top of her head, similar to that of her daughter's. She wears a V neck black and red wrap style top with a black pleated skirt that has black shorts underneath, with series of beaded necklaces. She also wears a red obi sash around her waist alongside a red tasset wrapped around her waist that carries her weapon's sheath. Attached to it is a long black object that is either fur or feathers, with a red and white bandana material like hanging from behind her. Her forearms bear red armored gauntlets that protrude outwards and black fingerless gloves. She wore black mid-thigh high boots, that had armor plating with red splatter patterns and black heels. Breasts sizes: H-cup.
"Yang, is that really you?" Raven asked, but suddenly got hugged by Yang.
"Shut the fuck up and let me hug you for once in your life." Yang smiled.
Raven can feel her heart racing up from the intense emotion she hasn't felt in a long time and now in the embrace of her daughter as her arms move on instinct to hug her back, the first time she ever hugged her daughter for the first time in years.
"Yay! We found mom!" Ruby cheered as she jumps into the hug.
"Oh yeah, Ruby and Yang have different moms but the same dad." Jaune remembered.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were still out of the country?" Yang asked.
"You dumb father convinced me to come home for a surprise, but when I got back those… dead fuckers got in my way." Raven answered.
"What about dad? Have you seen him?" Ruby asked.
"No, I haven't seen him yet, but knowing him the zombies are probably the ones begging for their life." Raven stated.
"Guys, I think we got a problem!" Neptune gulped in fear as he look outside with fear in his eyes.

The gang have found themselves doing a little unexpected shopping at the now dead Walmart and have a special offering of the black bird mother Raven, with an unexpected hug from Yang though now the reunion is gonna have to cut short when Neptune alerted them of something coming.
