Chapter 205: Twilight Time
The next couple of days was nothing very interesting as Spyro was getting ready to get into his ship and head for Traverse Town to get what he needed to finish the repairs to his garage, packing up everything he needed as Applejack walked in, watching as he was pushing a cart full of boxes and crates towards his Gozanti cruiser, wiping the sweat off his head as she approached.
"Finally headin' to Traverse Town?" Applejack asked.
"Yes I am." Spyro said, pushing a cart of cargo onto a platform and raising it. "I'm also taking some spare Gummi Blocks with me to sell to Cid. Make some munni while clearing up some clutter."
"Well, glad to see you'll finally get this thing back up and runnin'." Applejack said. "Ruby was lookin' a bit bummed out. Ah think she misses her friends. And feelin' kinda home sick too."
"Well, once I get this place back up and running, I can begin looking for her friends." Spyro replied. "And I think I have an idea of how to find them."
"How?" Applejack asked.
"This dust." Spyro said, holding up one of Ruby's dust cartridges. "Ruby's weapon was specially modified to utilize a very powerful kind of dust that not even I know about. And it's nothing that can me made either."
"Really?" Applejack asked. "How do ya know it can't be made?"
"Because I had AIVA scan it." Spyro replied. "She showed me that it can only be mined, not made. Some dust can be combined together to make something more powerful, but the four original types of dust grows naturally as crystals. It's fascinating really."
"Well, if that stuff will help ya find her friends, then go for it." Applejack said. "Anythin' to help find Ruby's friends. She's miserbale without them."
"I know." Spyro replied, putting the round back in his jacket pocket. "That and her loosing her weapon. Which don't tell Ruby, but Aragami has it."
As he said her name, Aragami appeared, though they couldn't see it, the Japanese spirit was smiling before disappearing back into his shadow.
"Ah actually kinda forgot she was still in yer shadow." Applejack said. "But why is she stickin' around ya? Shouldn't she be goin' to some kinda afterlife or somethin' like that?"
"Well, Aragami's usually only last until day break." Spyro replied. "How she's staying is beyond me. Maybe whatever kinda magic Malefor used on her is keeping her here. As for why she's staying with me, I'm not sure. Whatever the reason, she'll be a welcome addition to the team."
"Sir, you have a message from Master Yen Sid." AIVA announced. "He's been trying to contact you about your report, but due to the communications array being hit and the lack of Transducers, communications is going to be difficult."
"And my ships are still down." Spyro said, looking frustrated. "Well, looks like I'm going to have to give my report in person. That's going to add another day or so to my schedule."
"Ya serious?" Applejack asked. "Ya know we'll need ya here to help finish the harvest before winter comes."
"I know AJ." Spyro said, walking over and hugging her. "I'll be back as soon as possible. I promise."
"Ah know ya will." Applejack said, hugging him back. "Be back as soon as possible. Ah can't handle two foals and a couple of trouble makers on mah own."
"Oh trust me, I know." Spyro said, ending the hug. "Speaking of which, where is Apple Bloom and Scootaloo anyway? Haven't seen them all morning."
"Oh, the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Applejack asked. "They're at twilight's right now. Sayin' that they're gonna ask Twilight for help with somethin'."
"Oh boy." Spyro said, not liking where this was going. "I hope those three are staying out of trouble. Though knowing our siblings, they are probably going to do the exact opposite."
Applejack giggled as he said that, knowing that what he said was all too true, the two hugging again before he walked into his ship and starte the engines, Applejack walking out of the garage as the ship flew out, heading towards the atmosphere of the world and leaving to get the Transducers. Meanwhile at the Golden Oak Library, Twilight was going over a spell with Sweetie Belle while Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were watching, Octavai herself studying some spells that Twilight thought she might like to know while she helped them practice.
"Now Sweetie Belle, you sure you're ready to try the spell?" Twilight asked. "Maybe we should go through the steps again before you try to attempt it."
"Nope, I'm ready to give it a go." Sweetie Belle said.
"Ok then." Twilight said.
Sweetie Belle then looked to the door where the broom was leaning near it and the little filly walked over and stood in front of the broom, her horn starting to spark as she tried to use her magic to move the broom, which a pale green aura appeared around it as the tip of the fillies horn started to have that same aura, but she was struggling to move the broom, straining herself until they heard her neck crack, the aura disappearing as the broom fell to the ground and she rubbed the back of her neck.
"Oh, I think I threw my neck out." Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh, you'll be ok." Scootaloo said. "You just need a little more practice, that's all."
"Yeah, a bit more practice and lifting brooms will be a cinch." Apple Bloom said.
"I doubt it." Sweetie Belle said. "That thing weighs a ton."
However, a moment later, Spike came in looking for his broom and saw it was on the ground, picking it up and sweeping it while whistling, which seemed to hurt Sweetie Belle's confidence while Octavia giggles.
"Yeah, a ton." Octavia said.
"Octavia!" Twilight said, making her stop.
"No Twilight, she's right." Sweetie Belle said. "If I can't even lift a simple broom, then what chance do I have getting my Cutie mark in Magic?"
"Oh Sweetie Belle, don't say that." Twilight said. "Though you might not get your Cutie Mark in magic, there are other ways to get your mark. And I'll be more than happy to help you just for the fun of it as long as it takes."
Spike was continuing to sweep until he saw that on the floor was a bunch of bike parts and other kinds of parts all over the floor, looking annoyed as he looked to the fillies.
"Hey, who is the pony who made this mess!?" Spike asked. "Whose gonna clean this up? I sure as heck am not gonna clean it up!"
"Oh don't worry about that Spike." Scootaloo said. "You see, I took apart a unicycle and arranged them carefully into little groups. And I'm planning on rebuilding it, as soon as Twilight shows me how."
"Scootaloo, I told you I won't show you how to rebuild it." Twilight said. "But I can help you find the instruction boomk so you can rebuild it yourself."
"Ugh, I hate research!" Scootaloo said.
"I don't get it." Spike said. "Why didn't you have Spyro help you?"
"Oh, he's going to be gone for a while." Apple Bloom replied. "Said he needed to pick up some doohickey to get his garage workin' again."
"Ugh, where's the stupid book!?" Scootaloo asked in anger.
"Oh, it's to your left." Twilight replied. "Third shelf to the bottom. You can't miss it."
"Thanks for agreein' to help us with learnin' these new skills Twilight." Apple Bloom said.
"Oh, it's no problem Apple Bloom." Twilight replied. "I'm always happy to pass on my love for learning for the sake of learning."
"But I'm worried thast Ah'll never be able to get the hang of this potion makin'." Apple Bloom said, walking to a chemistry set where a potion was being made with a potted plant under a nozzle.
"Oh don't worry Apple Bloom." Twilight said, walking over. "Spyro told me about the hearts Desire potion you made and said you were pretty good. besides, if you followed my Magical plant Growing formula, then you'll do just fine."
"That is if she followed it." Octavia said, looking to the filly to see what happens next. "So, did you follow the instructions?"
"Well, more or less." Apple Bloom replied.
"More or less?" Octavia asked, closing the book. "Apple Bloom, Spyro taught me some spells and a bit about potion making. Unless you're one hundred percent sure you did it correctly-"
"Octavia, please." Twilight said, giving her a stern look before returning her attention to Apple Bloom. "Alright Apple Bloom, let's see what you managed to accomplish on the Apple Seedling."
"Well, alright." Apple Bloom said, gulping down some air as she reached up to the switch on the nozzle. "Here goes somethin'." She then opened up the nozzle and allowed for the potion to slowly drip out of the chemistry set, a single drop hitting the plant and created a puff of yellow smoke, making Twilight cough and when she stoped, the plant came to life, getting into a coughing fit, which made everyone but Apple Bloom laugh, which the young farm filly looked more annoyed than amused. "Yer layin' into it pretty thick, don't ya think bud?"
The plant then fainted, which only amused them even more while Apple Bloom just rolled her eyes, kicking her hoof into the floor in disappointment while Twilight just smiled.
"Now, now, it was a good try." Twilight said. "If you keep at it, you'll get it."
"Yeah, maybe." Apple Bloom said, looking at the time. "Oh shoot! We're gonna be late for school!"
"Wait what!?" Scootaloo asked, looking up. "We need to get going, now!"
The three fillies then ran out of the door and started heading straight for their school, running over Spike as he tried to clean while Twilight just shook her head at them, looking back to Octavia, who just went back to reading her book, making twilight smile as she went to collect everything the fillies left behind. Meanwhile on the Gozanti, Spyro was putting the ship on auto pilot, sitting back in his chair as he watched the scene before him, the beautiful blue color going by, but he sighed, crossing his arms as he sat back and watched.
"Hyperspace is beautiful and all, but Warp Speed is much faster." Spyro said to himself, sighing as he spun in his chair. "Well, at least it'll be a quiet travel to Traverse town." However, as he said it, the blue color turned red as his ship shook, getting pulled out of Hyper Space and thrown out of his chair, hitting the console with his head and leaving a massive goose egg, pulling himself up as he looked out the window to see what happened. "Me and my big mouth."

He looked out the window and saw, to his shock, it was an Interdictor cruiser, seeing he was caught in a tractor beam and was being pulled into towards the ship.
"Oh great." Spyro said. "I forgot I had to pass through the Star Wars verse to get to Traverse town. But what's an Imperial Cruiser doing, wait a minute, that's an Imperial Interdictor Cruiser. It has a Gravity Well powerful enough to pull ships out of both Hyper and Warp Space. Man, I really got to stop talking to myself. But why would-" However, a moment later, another ship was pulled out of Hyperspace, revealing it was a Corellian Corvette that was also pulled out, both ships disabled due to being pulled out of Hyperspace. "Oh, that's why. This must be a hyperlane the Rebels use. Well, looks like I'm going to be delayed a little longer. Terrific."
Meanwhile in Equestria, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were playing a game of Four Square with Pipsqueak, the four of them having a great time of their lives playing when they heard some giggling, looking over and seeing it was Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, knowing their day was going to get ruined in an instant.
"Gather around everypony." Diamond Tiara said, getting everyone's attention. "It's time for my announcement."
"Oh boy, here we go." Scootaloo said.
Everyone then walked over to where the two school bullies were at, seeing what it was they were talking about.
"Now, as you know, I promised that I would perform a first time ever, Acrobatic display for all of you." Diamond Tiara said, making the crowd cheer. "But I am just so tired that I can't do it for all of my excited fans." That disappointed them all as they all seemed to be looking forward to it, which the Crusaders just rolled their eyes. "But I didn't want to disappoint you all, so I brought my butler Randall to do it for me."
"Oh give me a break." Apple Bloom said. "There's no way that he could do anything stenuous. Especially for Diamond Tiara."
"Don't let appearences fool you." Scootaloo said. "Looks can be decieving." As she said it, the butler then started to perform the stunts that Diamond Tiara was bragging about, amazing both Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle while Scootaloo wasn't impressed, the buttler finishing his stunt before Diamond Tiara knocked him out of the way and the crowd of foals ran to her, cheering for her as they ran. "Told you."
"Wow, since when did you get so wise?" Sweeite Belle asked.
"Eh, Jedi training." Scootaloo said.
"That was amazing Diamond Tiara." Silver Spoon said.
"I know." Diamond Tiara said. "I don't know how I do it."
"Ugh, how can she get so much attention and not do anything!?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Well she is using somepony else to build herself up without doing anything." Scootaloo said. "She doesn't put any effort into her skills like we do."
"Hey, I got an idea!" Sweetie Belle said. "If we get really good at the stuff Twilight's teaching us, we'll be the big shots for the change!"
Sweetie Belle then started thinking about all the stuff they could do, thinking about showing off their skills and being the bigger shots than Diamond Tiara and started laughing to herself, not realizing that their bully was right in front of her.
"Hey, are you even listening?" Diamond Tiara asked, lightly hitting her on the head.
"Huh, what, what?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I was asking you if Rarity was planning on taking you to Manehattan any time soon." Diamond Tiara asked.
"Because if she is, then maybe you can meet up with us as we meet a bunch of famous ponies." Silver Spoon said excitedly.
"Please, hang out with these blank flanks?" Diamond Tiara asked, looking annoyed. "I'd rather loose my Cutie Mark than hang out with them."
"But-" Sliver Spoon said, only to get interrupted.
"No buts about it!" Diamond Tiara said.
Silver Spoon looked upset, lookign down at the ground as she kicked a pebble, which Scootaloo and Apple Bloom looked annoyed with her.
"Hey, she was just offering, you don't need to be mean to her!" Scootaloo said.
"Yeah, it was a nice offer!" Apple Bloom said.
"Besides, we couldn't go anyway." Sweetie Belle said. "She hasn't offered to take us there any time soon as she's trying to avoid stress."
"Avoid stress?" Diamond Tiara asked. "What, she have a nervous break down or something?"
"No, she didn't have a nervous break down!" Sweetie Belle replied. "She's having a baby!"
"SHE'S WHAT!?" Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara asked.
"You have to be kidding me!" Diamond Tiara asked.
"That's amazing news!" Silver Spoon said excitedly.
"Yeah, and we don't have to travel to Manehattan to be with the famous and super cool ponies anyway." Sweetie Belle added. "My friends and I hang out with Princess Twilight and Prince Spyro all the time, who both Rarity and Applejack are having his babies. Come on girls, let's go."
The three of them walked away, Diamond Tiara looking shocked while Silver Spoon's eyes sparkled from hearing the news.
"Wait, you hang out with Princess Twilight Sparkle!?" Diamond Tiara asked, running after them. "Like, is it all the time?"
"Nah, it's usually just once a week." Apple Bloom replied. "And usually after school as well."
"And she helps us learn cool new things." Scootaloo added. "Things we're actually learning to do, ourselves!"
Diamond Tiara was in complete disbelief, looking to her butler who was doing the tricks she claimed she was going to do before looking back at the crusaders.
"Well, could you bring me along next time you go hang out with the princess?" Diamond Tiara asked.
"Bring us along!" Silver Spoon said. "And will prince Spyro be there as well!?"
"Sorry Silver Spoon, but he'll be gone for a little while." Scootaloo said. "He's going to pick up some parts for his garage. Besides, why would you want to see her anyway?"
"Well, we used to see her all the time, but every now and then, she and her friends tend to disappear for long periods of time." Diamond Tiara replied. "And sometimes after you come back, there's some pony new who comes with them."
"You mean like Jade, Yang, and everypony else?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Yeah, them." Diamond Tiara said. "You ask me, Jade's weird."
"Well she is a hybrid like Spyro is." Silver Spoon said. "But if he's not here, maybe we can go and have a look in his garage."
"And now that Twilight's an Alicorn princess instead of a boring unicorn, she's totally awesome!" Diamond Tiara said. "So can I-"
"We!" Silver Spoon interjected, making Diamond Tiara roll her eyes.
"Go?" Diamond Tiara asked.
The crusaders looked at one another for a second, trying to decide what to do as Apple Bloom looked back at their bullies.
"Ah don't know." Apple Bloom said.
"Uh, could you give us a minute please?" Sweetie Belle asked, pulling her friends aside. "We need to say yes! This is a golden opportunity!"
"Are ya kiddin'?" Apple Bloom asked. "They'll laugh at us! Remember what happened when Ah mixed the potion and choked the plant out?"
"But they'll also have to learn something too!" Sweetie Belle said.
"Hey, you might be one to something there." Scootaloo said. "They'll be too busy learning something new, they won't have enough time to laugh at us."
"Well, it would be funny to see them tryin' to work hard to work hard and to get on their good side for a change." Apple Bloom said.
The three crusaders smiled, looking to their bullies as they all decided to allow them to come along so they could learn something new. Meanwhile on the Interdictor Cruiser, Spyro was being escorted to a holding cell by a few troopers, playing along until he found it suitable to attack the troopers as they rounded another corner, seeing a familiar face as they walked.
"Ezra?" Spyro asked.
"Spyro?" Ezra asked. "You got caught as well?"
"Yeah, I did." Spyro replied. "I was on my way to pick up some parts when I got caught by these Imperirial goons."
"Keep quiet." One of the troopers said.
"Look guys, just so you know, when we escape, we won't hurt you." Ezra said.
"Yeah, that's nice of you to say kid." The trooper said, opening the cell door.
"It is, isn't it?" Spyro asked.
A moment later, a weird looking lightsaber on the troopers side ignited, making him jump around and yell while the others pointed their weapons at him, but Spyro broke his binds and used the Force to lift them into the air and small them into the ground, the young Jedi taking his light saber back and blocked a few blaster rounds before slicing the weapons, disarming them as they looked up.
"See, you're fine." Ezra said, deactivating his saber.
A short while later, Spyro and Ezra tossed the troopers into the cell they were about to be thrown in, tossing the binders that were on Ezra as they closed the door on them.
"Since when did you have a lightsaber Ezra?" Spyro asked.
"Ever since I got my Kyber crystal." Ezra replied.
However, a couple more troopers rounded the corner and Ezra got his saber out, but instead of igniting it, he fired a couple of blue balls of electricity, hitting them and stunning them.
"Hey, mine doesn't do that." Spyro said.
"That's exactly what Kanan said." Ezra replied. As he said that, a droid followed right behind them, Spyro getting his saber ready to destroy it while Ezra looked horrified. "Oh no, no, no, no, no, no."
"What's wrong Ezra?" Spyro asked. "It's just a couple of Storm Troopers." However as he said it, Ezra pulled the helmet off of one of the troopers, revealing it was Kanan in disguise, realizing why Ezra looked horrified. "Kanan?"
"Spyro?" Kanan asked, sitting up as his friend removed his helment, revealing it was a elderly man who looked familiar to him.
"Who's he?" Spyro asked.
"Commander?" The man asked, recognizing the voice.
"Wait, Rex?" Spyro asked, recognizing him instantly. "Geez, I'm gone for ten of your universes years and you age to nearly a hundred."
"Rex, you know Spyro?" Ezra asked.
"Of course I know him." Rex replied. "Commander VanVickle here helped me and the rest of the 501st back on Umbara when General Krell went rogue."
"Yeah, I was hoping to figure out why he fell into the dark side before Dogma shot him in the back." Spyro replied.
"Ugh, what hit me?" Kanan asked.
"Uh, you guys were great!" Ezra said. "You were surrounded by Storm Troopers. You were great."
"Thanks." Kanan said, which Spyro gave the kid a disappointed look. "But I only saw you and Spyro." However, the droid, who was Chopper in disguise, showed what really happened, showing that Ezra shot them both, which seemed to annoy Kanan. "You shot us! I can't believe you shot us!"
"Hey, don't blame the kid." Spyro said. "You're dressed like Storm Troopers, which, let me tell you, that armor can't protect you from a blaster bolt."
"Which I told Kanan." Rex said. "Anyway, we need to disable this ship and save commander Sato."
"Wait, June Sato?" Spyro asked. "Well, count me in on saving him. He actually saved my butt once before and it's time I repaid the favor."
"Then it's settled." Kanan said. "Spyro, Ezra, go and save Commander Sato. Rex and I will have a ship ready."
"Uh, I'm afraid we're not gong anywhere." Spyro said. "This is the Empires new weapon, the Imperial Interdictor Cruiser. It's basically a mobile Gravity Well that has enough power to pull ships out of hyperspace."
"Hmm, then we'll need to destroy this ship." Kanan said. "Ezra and Spyro, take Chopper and find the Reactor Core for this ship. See if you can sabotage this thing."
"You got it Kanan." Spyro said. "Come on kid, let's go. You too Chop."
The three of them ran off to find the reactor room to sabotage the ship and to get out of there as Spyro did not want to spend anymore time on that ship no matter what it took. Meanwhile in Equestria, the Crusaders were walking towards the library, eager to learn from Twilight with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon following closely behind them.
"Oh, I can't believe we get to spend some time with an actual princess!" Diamond Tiara exclaimed happily. "I'm so excited."
"Me too!" Silver Spoon said. "Too bad the prince isn't here."
Scootaloo was surprised to see that one of her bullies was actually hoping to see her brother, brushing it off as she knocked on the door to the Golden oak Library.
"Now remeber, Twilight takes her time with us very seriously." Sweetie Belle said. "Meaning you're going to have to learn something as well."
A moment later, Twilight came to the door and opened it to see the crusaders and the two bullies.
"Oh, hello girls." Twilight said.
A moment later, Diamond tiara and Silver spoon screamed in excitement, spooking Twilight as they ran up.
"Princess Twilight!" Diamond Tiara shouted, both her and Silvr Spoon jumping up and down. "It's really her!"
"I can't believe it!" Silver Spoon said.
"And you brought guests." Twilight said, looking surprised. "That's great."
"Oh Princess Twilight, it's such an honor and privilege to be here." Diamond Tiara said. "You have no idea how excited I am to be here. Who dyes your tail?"
Twilight looked at her tail before the fillies went inside talking about the princess while the crusaders approached Twilight, who leaned into them to whisper.
"I'm glad you want to help other fillies learn something, but maybe we should keep these weekly visits to just us." Twilight said, which the fillies smiled. They then walked into the library to get started on their practices, smiling as they imagined what theirbullies would have to do. "Alright, who's ready to practice first?"
"Wait, shouldn't they go first?" Sweetie Belle asked, pointing to the two bullies.
"No silly." Twilight said. "I set up Twilight time just for you three. Now Apple Bloom, let's see who your plant potions coming along."
Diamond Tiara looked at them with a sinister grin, which made Apple Bloom nervous as she walked up and tried the potion again, taking the pot as she went over to the brewing stands as Diamond Tiara smiled, ready to see them fail.
"Oh, Spyro, where are ya?" Apple Bloom whispered.
Meanwhile on the cruiser, Spyro was taking cover as a few engineers were firing on both him and Ezra, getting his saber out and deflecting the blaster bolts along with Ezra while Chopper was rolling to the main console and started hacking in, magnetizing himself as he then shut the gravity off and making everyone start floating.
"Chopper turned the gravity off!" Spyro said, trying to correct himself as Exra spun around in the air.
"This isn't part of the plan!" Ezra shouted, which Chopper replied to him in Binary. "What do you mean it is part of the plan!?" The engineers fired their blasters again, getting thrown away fromt the Jedi while Ezra deflected the bolt and was sent back towards them, getting thrown into the wall, so he pushed off it, spnning around as he wasn't used to having no gravity while Spyro just grew his wings, flapping them to propel himself forward as Chopper spoke to them again, telling them to be ready. "Don't you dare! Not yet!"
Chopper beeped aggain, speaking in binary as he then turned the gravity back on, dropping the soldiers into the void below while Spyro and Ezra grapped the platform and avoided falling into the void, Chopper rolling over Ezra's hand and making him yelp while Spyro got up, grabbing both their sabers as Ezra got up.
"You had better sabotaged this thing." Spyro said, tossing Ezra his saber as they followed Chopper while he spoke to them. "What do you mean you think you did!?"
In Equestria, it was the next day for that world and the crusaders were walking to school to be prepared to face their bullies, down in the dumps as they walked towards total embarrassment as Apple Bloom looked to Sweetie Belle.
"Ah can't believe ya talk us into bringin' our bullies with us to Twilight's yesterday." Apple Bloom said.
"But they didn't laugh at us once Apple Bloom." Scootaloo said.
"They were laughin' on the inside." Apple Bloom said.
"Don't worry, we are not going to make that mistake again." "Sweetie Belle said. "From now on, it's just the three of us and Twilight."
However, they then saw their bullies come with a group of foals behind them, making them all groan.
"Great, here comes trouble." Apple Bloom said. "Probably coming to make fun of us for yesterday."
"So uch for being big shots." Scootaloo said.
"Hey you three!" Diamond Tiara said, looking smug about what she was going to say. "Guess what? I told everypony about your special Twilight time! And guess what!?"
"Oh no, here it comes." Sweetie Belle said.
"They want in!" Diamond Tiara said. They then began to chant 'Twilight Time' which the three fillies seemed worried as they knew this was going to end badly. "And thanks to me, you're now the hottest thing around."
Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at Sweetie Belle in annoyance, which the unicorn filly looked worried as the crowd continued to chant.
"Geez, all these ponies want to meet Twilight that badly?" Sweetie Belle asked, whispering to her friends.
"We need to warn Twilight." Scootaloo whispered.
"We love you Cutie Mark Crusaders!" Pipsqueak shouted, everyone cheering.
"Now, now everypony, demanding time with the princess as an angry mob won't do at all." Diamond Tiara said, wrapping her foreleg around Scootaloo. "Instead, make sure you get organized through us, the Cutie Mark Crusaders nearest and dearest friends."
"Line up to get your name down." Silver Spoon said. "And no pushing!"
As the foals around the school came to get signed up, the crusaders moved behind the school to get some time alone.
"This is such a mess." Apple Bloom said.
"This is awesome!" Sweetie Belle said. "We're now really and truly and certifiably the biggest big shots in the school now!"
"What makes you say that?" Scootaloo asked.
"Because everypony here thinks that we're their ticket to be with Ponyvilles newest celebrity!" Sweetie Belle said.
"But what about what we said two seconds ago?" Apple Bloom asked. "About how invitin' two ponies to our Twilight time was a huge mistake?"
"Yeah, and if everypony starts coming to our Twilight Time, she ight not want to do it anymore." Scootaloo said.
"Don't worry, I got an idea." Sweetie Belle said. "We won't invite them to our Twilight time, but we could invite Twilight to lunch, thanking her for al the nice things she's done for us."
"Ah don't know." Apple Bloom said. "This kinda feels like a trick."
"Trust me, what could go wrong?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"And she said it." Scootaloo said.
Sweetie Belle then went to tell her plan to the others while the other two crusaders stayed back, knowing this was a terrible idea. A little while later, they were at a place that served Hay burgers and the crusaders were treating Twilight to lunch, which she was munching down like she hadn't eaten in days, much to their surprise as she had ketchum all over her face.
"Thanks for asking me to join you for lunch today." Twilight said, getting another hay burger. "I didn't realize how hungry I was today." As she was getting ready to take a bite into another burger, she used it to wipe off the ketchup and devour the burger. "I'm so honored you did this for me."
"You are?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Why?"
"Well, when you first asked me to help you develop your skills, I though that helping young students purely for the sake of learning, it was truly something I was happy to do. You three kinda remind me of myself when I was your age."
She then started eating the fried that were shaped like horse shoes, the crusaders feeling nervous as they looked outside and saw all their classmates out there watching her.
"Yes, we feel the same way." Sweetie Belle said.
"It's why we invited you here." Apple Bloom said.
"Because of our love of learning." Scootaloo said.
However, Twilight was picking up on how nervous they were, looking to her right and seeing someone hiding as leaves flew up before falling down.
"Alright, what's wrong girls?" Twilight asked.
"What do you mean?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Twilight!" Pinkie shouted, the party mare coming to them. "I haven't seen you come in here in like forever!"
"I know." Twilight said, lifting a burger. "I have been so busy, I forgot how good the food is here."
As she was talking, all of the crusaders classmates popped up behind her in the window, making the crusaders nervous, which Twilight picked up on.
"Totally!" Pinkie said. "By the way, why are all the kids from the school looking at you through the window?"
"What!?" Twilight said, looking back, but they were gone.
"Oh, nevermind, they're gone." Pinkie said, Twilight looking away before they came back. "Oh they're back!" Twilight looked back again, but they were gone again. "Oh, nevermind, they're gone again."
Pinkie then left, leaving Twilight alone with the Crusaders as the princess of Friendship gave them a stern, but gentle look.
"Girls, what's going on?" Twilight asked.
"Well, you see..." Scootaloo started to say before they heard camera's going off, looking behind the princess, which Twilight looked behind herself and saw the foals, all of them ducking down as she looked to the crusaders.
"What's going on girls?"
"Well, you see, when Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon came yesterday, they told the whole school about Twilight time." Scootaloo said.
"They what!?" Twilight asked, getting up and heading to the door.
As she left, the crusaders watch as she went out the door, Twilight seeing that the entire student body was in front of the burger place, all starring at her before they ended up screaming and applauding, calling her name as they applauded her, the crusaders looking out from the window as they all cheered, trying to pose for pictures with her and getting an autograph.
"Oh, Twilight is going to be so ticked with us." Scootaloo said.
"Ah told ya this was a terrible idea." Apple Bloom said.
"You all want my autograph?" Twilight asked. "For real? Well, alright, just a couple more. but then I really need to get back to my little friends."
"Oh, this day is going from bad to worse." Sweetie Belle said. "I hope Spyro's having a batter time than we are."
As she said it, Spyro was in a hallway, deflecting Blaster Bolts as he protected a couple of injured rebel soldiers, Force Pushing the Storm Troopers away and giving them a chance to get up as Kanan and Rex came by with the rest of Sato's crew.
"Spyro, where's Ezra?" Kanan asked.
"He's heading out way." Spyro replied. "I'm getting ready to get to my ship. Where's Rex?"
As he asked, they felt a great disturbance in the Force, looking down a hallway as they heard Rex yell in pain and knew something was wrong. A moment later, Ezra came up, blocking a troopers bolt and taking him out as he moved to Kanan and Spyro.
"We sabotaged the reactor." Ezra said. "We need to get out of here."
"Go without us." Spyro said.
"Wait, what?" Ezra asked.
"We're not leaving without our friend." Kanan said. "Get Sato and his crew to the blockade runner, now!"
Not wanting to argue with his master, Ezra ran after Sato and his men to provide them some protection while the two Jedi looked int he corridor where troopers were firing at them, one completely missing Spyro as he just hit the ceiling above him, Spyro not looking amused as he deactivated his saber.
"You ask me, you don't even need your lightsaber to fight these guys." Spyro said. "Their aim is so bad they couldn't even hit a rancor if it was right in front of them."
"Yeah, well, I don't want to take that chance." Kanan said, deflecting a bolt. "Come on, let's go get our friend."
Spyro smiled as they ran down the corridor to go save Rex, fighting the troopers as they ran to go save their friend. Meanwhile in Equestria, the Crusaders were relaxing, being served lemonade from Pipsqueaks newly opened lemonade stand, everyone cheering and having a great time while the crusaders were treated like royalty, sitting on pillows, being served free lemonade, and getting their hooves shined, which Scootaloo looked at her hoof and saw her own reflection in it, while Apple Bloom got some jewels and bling in her bow, the three of them enjoying their time.
"Wow Sweeite Belle, you really do know how to handle it." Scootaloo said, looking back at her hoof. "And I can literally see my own reflection in my hoof."
"And I like how they bedazzled my bow." Apple Bloom said, looking to a pink earthpony filly with some gems on her flank for her mark. "What exactly do Ah owe ya?"
"Your gratitude is thanks enough." The filly said.
However, a moment later, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon pushed through the crowd, which they moved out of the way to not get bullied by them while Diamond Tiara gave a smile.
"I have something that is way better than hanging around here." Diamond Tiara said. "How would you like to come to my pool party? It'll be way better than this."
The two earth ponies then left, leaving everyone else behind while the the crusaders smiled, looking at one another after beign invited.
"Looks like we've arrived at the top Cutie Mark Crusaders." Apple Bloom said.
They then high fived and ran after the two bullies, arriving at Diamond Tiara's home for the pool party, which Apple Bloom was on a floaty , floating on the water as Scootaloo cannon balled itno the water, Sweetie Belle laying on a lawn chair with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
"Wow, this is amazing." Sweeite Belle said, looking around. "But where is everypony else? Why aren't they here? And why is it cooler than anything else?"
"Because we're keeping all the undesirables out." Diamond Tiara replied, pointing to the gate.
The crusaders looked and saw that all the rest of their class mates were outside of the party, looking into the gate and horrifying them that no pony else was there to enjoy the party.
"Well, it's been great and all, but we gotta be going now." Sweetie Belle said, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom getting out of the water to leave. "It's Twilight time."
"Oh, can we come too!?" Diamond Tiara asked.
"Uh, actually, no." Sweetie Belle replied, disappointing them and annoying Diamond Tiara. "We didn't have a chance to ask her when-"
"Oh really, after all the favors we did for you!?" Diamond Tiara asked, looking annoyed. "After all the favors they did for you!?"
They then looked to the angry mob as they all chanted Twilight time, wanting to bust through the gate to get at them, which made the Crusaders nervous.
"Any more bright ideas Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo asked.
"Yeah, run!" Sweetie Belle shouted.
The crusaders then ran for the hedge wall that walled off the pool area of Diamond Tiara's home, all three of them leaping over the hedge and landing on the ground, seeing they haven't been spotted yet.
"We need to get to Twilight and explain everything!" Scootaloo said.
"I know a short cut, we need to hurry!" Sweetie Belle said.
"Over there!" A filly shouted.
The crusaders looked back and saw that they had been spotted, knwoing they needed to run if they were going to make it.
"Then we better run, like the wind!" Apple Bloom said.
The crusaders then started running as the mob followed after them, chanting Twilight time over and over again as they went after the crusaders. Meanwhile in the Star Wars verse, Rex was being interrogated, or what the Imperials called interrogation as Kanan kept his disguise, walking in an an imperial interrogation droid was coming towards him.
"When we're through with you, you'll be discarded like everything else." The Imperial officer said. "Like an obsolete piece of field equipment." And no one will know or care."
"We will." Kanan said.
They all looked to Kanan as he removed his helmet, firing on them and destroying the probe while Spyro burst through the wall and ignited his saber, cutting through a couple of troopers while one took aim at him, but a moment later, Aragami appeared from the shadows and cut his arm off, making him yell as a couple more troopers came to him, but it was their mistake as a vortex opened and sucked all three of them into it, giving the rebels a chance to escape while Spyro kept deflecting the bolts as they took cover behind a wall.
"Ezra, tell Sato to take off without us." Kanan said in his communicator.
"Not without you." Ezra said.
"Just go, we'll get out on Spyro's ship and meet you at the rendezvous." Kanan said.
"Come on, let's go!" Spyro said.
They then started running for the hangar where their ships were being held by docking clamps, which Ezra and Sato managed to disable before they got there, the rebel ship detaching and flying out as Spyro, Kanan, and Rex reached Spyro's ship, detaching and flying away as fast as they could while the officer watched.
"Both rebel ships are attempting to flee." A helmsman said.
"Activate the Gravity wells." The officer said.
"Get ready to jump!" Spyro said. He punched in the coordinates that were given to him by Sato and they attempted to jump, but then they were pulled out of Hyperspace again, getting dragged towards the cruiser again. "Seriously!? Again! I thought Chopper sabotaged that thing!" As he said that, the other cruisers started to get pulled into the Interdictor, pulling everything that was made of metal in. "Chopper rigged their own weapon against them. It's pulling everything in."
"Including us!" Kanan said. "Spyro, doesn't this thing have any weapons to destroy that thing!?"
"I wish." Spyro replied. "This thing is only equipped with anti-fighter weapnry." A moment later, one of the light cruisers that was protecting the main vessel slammed into the ship, one of which hit the deck of the ship and deactivated the gravity well as it started to glow. "We're free!"
"Make the jump, now!" Kanan said.
Spyro turned the ship around and got in line with Sato's ship, both making the jump into Hyperspace right as the Interdictor Cruiser exploded, taking everything out that hadn't escaped in time. Meanwhile in Equestria, the Crusaders had managed to reacht he golden oaks library, though out of breath, they managed to make it before the angry mob of foals could.
"We made it." Sweetie Belle said. "We need to knock on the door quick before-"
However, before they could knock on the door, a couple of colts cut them off, coming on scooters and rolling in front of the door, the Crusaders surprised that they had caught up, looking back to see the crowd before looking to the scooter ponies, who knocked on the door and got Twilight to come out, surprised to see all the fillies and colts there with a nervous looking Cutie Mark Crusaders.
"Twilight, we can explain." Sweetie Belle said.
"We know ya said Twilight time was meant for us-" Apple Bloom added.
"We didn't mean for so many other ponies to be here, honest." Scootaloo said.
Twilight looked at the fillies, seeing how nervous they were and she just smiled.
"Oh don't be silly girls." Twilight said, knowing how to handle it. "I only meant that for your benefit so that you could get the most out of our time together. But if you want to share your time with others, then it's also fine."
"So, you're not mad?" Scootaloo asked.
"Of course not." Twilight replied. "Come on in everypony. Spike made Nachos." As the entire school came in to spend some Twilight time with the princess, which the Crusaders were very nervous about it as Spike came in with a plate of nachos, holding it up as they came in. "Oh, we're gonna need more than that Spike." Spike just sighed in defeat, walking away to get some more snacks while Twilight hopped up onto the desk to get their attention. "Alright everypony, before we get started, I would like for everypony to get a little organized. Ponies who want to learn more about magic over here, those interested in potions over here. Bookworm ponies over there."
As she said it, all the ponies started to disperse into their groups, the crusaders surprised to see they were listening and how well it went.
"Wow, looks like everythin' is workin' just fine." Apple Bloom said.
"And here I thought Twilight would be disappointed in us." Scootaloo said.
"I told you I knew exactly how to handle this." Sweeite Belle said.
"I wanted to thank you all for taking time out of your schedules to come learn something new today." Twilight said.
"No, thank you princess." Diamond Tiara said.
"We love you princess!" Silver Spoon said.
The crowd then cheered for her, all becoming rowdy again as twilight raised her foreleg to get their attention.
"Alright everypony, settle down now." Twilight said. "If you want to thank somepony, thank the Cutie Mark Crusaders for so generously sharing their time with all of you today."
"Oh, it was nothing." Sweetie Belle said.
"Hmph, what a laugh." Diamond Tiara said.
"Alright, time to see who wants to learn what." Twilight said, walking over to Pipsqueak. "And what would you like to learn?"
"I want to learn to be a Cutie Mark Crusader!" Pipsqueak said.
"And why do you want to learn to be a crusader?" Twilight asked.
"Because then I can get all my classmates to do me favors and stuff because I'm friends with a famous princess." Pipsqueak said.
"Come again?" Twilight asked, looking to the crusaders.
"Oh boy." Sweetie Belle said.
"Crusaders, is this true?" Twilight asked.
"Not completely." Sweetie Belle replied. "We only wanted out time with you just to be about learning. Honest."
"Then prove it." Twilight said, spooking the crusaders. "If you're serious, then that means you've been practicing all week. So show me how much better you got."
"Well... we... we can't." Apple Bloom said. "We kinda forgot our stuff on our rush over here."
"I see." Twilight said.
"Wait, but that doesn't mean we can't show you what we've learned!" Sweetie Belle said, looking to everyone. "Don't worry everypony, we'll put on a show so we can show you all that we learned from working with the princess!" The corwd then started to murmur, wondering what they would be doing as Sweetie Belle motioned for them to do what they could. "But due to Scootaloo not having her unicycle parts, she'll disassemble and reassemble one of the scooters outside."
A moment later, Scootaloo went out and brought in a green scooter, everyone looking to her as she brought it is.
"Whose scooter is this?" Scootaloo asked.
"It's mine." Pipsqueak replied.
"Mind if I borrow it?" Scootaloo asked. "I'll reassemble it."
Pipsqueak wasn't sure about it, watching as Scootaloo began disassembling the scooter and feeling nervous as she worked on it.
"I'll never get it right!" Scootaloo thought to herself, doubting her skills. "I'll have ruined Pipsqueaks scooter for nothing if I don't get it right."
"You just need to relax." Spyro replied, Scootaloo looking up as the room went dark and seeing Spyro on the floor with different parts of her scooter, watching him reassemble it. "Each piece is like a puzzle. Every piece has has a purpose in the overall design. If you freak out and try to fix it, you may be able to do it, but you'll end up making mistakes and making things worse. but if you relax, take your time, and observe each part and piece, you'll be able to fix it."
As the room returned to normal, she saw that Spyro had reassembled the scooter, his image disappearing as she looked to the floor and saw that she had fully disassembled and laid out in seperate groups, smiling as she knew exactly what to do.
"And Apple Bloom doesn't have her apple seedling, but she'll grab an apple from the kitchen to make her potion." Sweetie Belle said.
Apple Bloom came back, smiling as she put the appple down next to the chemistry set, looking at it as she felt nervous.
"Oh, who am Ah kiddin'?" Apple Bloom thought to herself. "Ah can't make a potion to save my life. What good can I do now in makin' this potion now?"
"Potion making can be a little difficult." Spyro said, Apple Bloom looking up and seeing that he was in frotn of his own set, making a healing potion with expertise. "Every ingredient has to be right, no matter what. One small mistake could ruin the whole thing or make something completely different. But if you freak yourself out and only think about failure, then you will fail. If you believe in yourself and let your instincts guide you, then you will get it right almost every time."
He turned around, showing her a potion that was make perfectly without even batting an eye, Apple Bloom smiling as his image disappeared and she got to work on the potion.
"Andf I will use my magic to lift this broom." Sweetie Belle said, looking at it as she started to sweat. "But what if I fail? I haven't practiced using my magic at all since Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon was here last. I can't do it."
"You do realize that doubting yourself makes your magic weaker, right?" Spyro asked, Sweetie Belle looking up as the room disappeared and Spyro stood there, his horns glowing as he used his fire and earth magic together while practicing. "Self doubt leads to failure, which leads down a dark and terrible path. Many people fear failure, even I do. But failing and trying again is what makes us stronger, makes us wiser than before. The more you doubt, the more you fail. But if you let go of your doubt and your fear, feeling confident instead, then anything is possible. Even lifting up a branch that has fallen on your friend, confidence is key to anything."
Sweeite Belle was surprised, remembering what he said before smiling, looking down at the broom and used her magic to begin lifting it up the broom, showing she was indeed doing it while Scootaloo managed to reassemble the scooter, riding around on it while Apple Bloom managed to make the potion, pouring it on the apple, but that was when everything went completely wrong, the scooter then fell apart, the spell on the broom faded and the broom fell, and the potion made the apple grow and then explode, making mush go everywhere and on everyone, embarrasing them.
"That didn't go the way I planned it." Sweetie Belle said.
"Well, looks like Twilight time is over." Twilight said.
"And look who isn't the princesses entourage anymore." Diamond Tiara said, making the crusaders look horrible. "Guess they didn't come to learn here after all."
"And neither did any of you." Twilight replied.
With Twilight time over, the fillies were all disappointed as they left, the princess walking over to the crusaders as they cleaned themselves off.
"We're sorry Twilight." Sweetie Belle said. "We made a huge mistake."
"And we really did enjoy learnin' new skills from ya." Apple Bloom said.
"Guess we'll have to learn them without you." Scootaloo said, reassembling the scooter the right way and pushing it to Twilight, which she was surprised she got it right that time before looking to Apple Bloom, watching her finish the potion correctly and making a flower come out of the potted plant before looking to Sweetie Belle, seeing she had managed to use her magic to pick the flower from the pot and float it over to her and into her hair, surprising her as they did it all correctly. "Thanks Twilight."
"Yeah, thanks." Apple Bloom said.
"Guess this is the last time we'll get to hang out with you." Sweetie Belle said, all of them walking away. "Thanks."
"Girls, wait." Twilight said, getting them to look at her. "Do you remember when you asked me to give you girls a chance?"
"We do." Sweetie Belle said.
"Well, you've proven you're really taking the time you spend with me seriously." Twilight said, looking to the scooter. "True you got your priorities mixed up by being wiht somepony special, but in the end, you proved to me that when you aren't trying to pretend to be special, you are ale to do anything. Even though I'm somepony special, I'm also a friend, a friend willing to help out no matter what. So what do you say, ready to give it another shot?"
"Of course!" Sweetie Belle said, running over and hugging her. "Thanks Twilight."
"It's no problem, really." Twilight said, hugging them. "After all, we're family since your siblings and I are part of Spyro's herd."
"Alright I got the snacks." Spike said, walking in with Octavia nearby. "And Octavia helped."
"It was simple really." Octavia said, looking around and seeing it was only the crusaders and Twilight. "I thought you said this place had a full house?"
"Oh come on!" Spike shouted, maing them laugh.
In the Star Wars verse, Spyro had met up with Commander Sato and his men, docking his ship with them to drop off Kanan and Rex after escaping from the Empire.
"Thank you again Spyro." Sato said. "It's good to know that you're still out there."
"Alive and kicking." Spyro said. "Glad to see that you guys are alright and all. And glad to be a thorn in the empires side."
"We could use you in the fight against the Empire." Sato said.
"I wish I could." Spyro said. "But I can't be involved in this universes business unless the Heartless or the Organization are involved."
"I understand." Sato said. "But if we need your help, will you be there?"
"I'm always there for my friends." Spyro said, he and Sato shaking hands as he turned around and walked to his ship, seeing Kanan and Rex there.
"Well, guess this is goodbye?" Ezra asked.
"For now." Spyro said. "But if you guys really need a place to lay low and hang out for a while, don't be strangers."
"Sure thing." Ezra said.
Spyro ruffled his hair and walked to his ship, looking back to his friends as the door closed and allowed for him to detach from Sato's ship. Spyro then put in the coordinates for traverse town, jumping into Hyperspace to get what he needed.
"Finally, now I can get to Traverse town and get what I need to finish repairing my garage." Spyro said, leaning into the chair to relax. "Now, I can relax and not have to fight. And hopefully, nothing else will... nope, not going to say it. Because nothing, absolutely nothing will go wrong!"
He then decided to get some rest, closing his eyes to sleep, but as he rest, in Traverse Town, there was a whole mob of Heartless in the center of town, going around attacking whoever they could see, but as they looked, a couple of the shadows got cut in half while another few got cut to pieces, a woman in red and black clothing with black hair was fighting some of the Heartless while a man in a white dress shirt and black pants was cutting through more, fighting back to back as they kept on coming.
"These things are relentless Qrow!" the woman said. "They're definitely not Grim, otherwise they wouldn't be coming back all the time!"
"Just keep fighting Raven!" Qrow said, changing his sword into a scythe. "Where ever we are, we must do what we must to survive!"
They got ready for another fight, raising their weapons for another fight as several Big Bodies appeared behind them, smacking their bellies and ready to attack, but as they got ready, a shot rang out and one of the Big Bodies was destroyed, making the other two turn around to see what happened before whoever attack them leapt over and struck them in the back, making the two strangers turn around and see it was Leon who saved them, turning around and firing towards them and hitting another Shadow.
"You gotta pay attention to what's around you." Leon said. "The Heartless will take any advantage they can to get you."
"Thanks for the advice." Raven said, slashing the shadow that was coming at her before pulling a trigger, sending a blast of eletric energy and destroying a whole group. "But we can take care of ourselves."
"Good." Leon said, raising his blade. "I'd rather not get stuck with babysitting duty again."
"Same here." Raven said, raising her sword. "Hope you know how to use that butter knife there kid. Because we aren't running a day care."
Leon smiled, liking her already as he raised his weapon to fight, ready to take on the Heartless, itching for a fight.
