Not So Famous

POV. Third person

Chris is standing at an old amphitheater, "Last time on Total Drama Island, the campers had to play dodgeball" we see scenes of the campers throwing or getting hit by balls, "thanks to Cody and Owen who managed to win the first two games, it seemed that it was going to be another crushing defeat for the Bass, who had to desperately resort to their secret weapon," we see Duncan breaking a big stick, "with Duncan's leadership they managed to recover, winning the third and fourth rounds, which meant that we were going to have a dramatic final tiebreaker" we see both teams ready for the final round, "and in a very unexpected twist, Noah and Harold became the MVPs of their respective teams" we see Noah giving instructions to the Gophers and Harold dodging balls like he was ice skating, "but in the end Harold's mad skills were superior to Noah's leadership, giving the Bass their first victory" we see Harold catching the last ball and getting carried by his teamates, "Heather's alliance planned their first elimination" we see Heather and Cody discussing on the dock, "and Justin was the first of the Gophers to leave the island", we see Justin walking along the dock of shame, "but it seems that this was for the better, no one should be more handsome than the host" said Chris pointing to himself, "Who'll win the next challenge? There will be more surprises? Find out this week on TOTAL... DRAMA... ISLAND!".

POV. Cody

I was in area 51 's Black Box, alíen Cody, robot Alejandro, Owenzilla where sitting on a table playing cards, "eh... Who has a... 3?".

"Owen, Do you at least know what we're playing?" Al bot asked, with his robotic voice.

"No", he collapsed.

*Boom*

"What was that?" asked alíen Cody.

One of the walls bent to the side, All-Stars' Sierra entered and looked at us with her crazy eyes, "I came to rescue you Codywinki" she said with a frightening voice.

"¡AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" The four of us screamed terrorized.

I woke up to see that I was in the Gopher's cabin, "You know what? I'm not even gonna ask", I stayed there waiting for Chris to announce the next challenge.

POV. Gwen

"Okay, this is so, way beyond bad," Lindsay's whining voice woke me up. What could it be this time?, "I'm out of fake tanner already", That was it? Really?

"Woah, that 's tragic, Lindsay,'' I answered sarcastically, but instead of saying something dumb like I expected, she just looked at me for a while, which made me uncomfortable.

She came closer to me and I backed away, "woah, your hair is so messy".

"Eh?"I touched my hair and confirmed it was a little messy, "ah yeah, gets like that in the... What are you doing?".

For some reason Lindsay began brushing my hair with a hair comb, "Don't you worry, I'm very good at this", I just stood there without really getting what was happening.

Confessional.

Gwen

"When we came to the island, I thought that Lindsay and I couldn't be more different, she's so cheery and whimsical, not to mention dumb... but now, I guess she doesn't seem that bad, maybe I judged her too soon".

Lindsay

"Cody told me that in order to remember the names of people, I needed to look at their appearance, Gwen seems to be very gloomy, but I think that look suits her pretty well".

Tyler

He was flexing his arm with a dumbbell in his hand, "I, Must. Not. Lose. Lindsay." he looses grip of the dumbbell and it lands on his feet, "Ouch!".

End of confessional.

POV. Cody

"Alright campers, enough beauty sleep, time to show us what you're made of!", announced Chris by the public address system.

Today was the talent show. Because of my actions we were left without one of our original competitors, but that didn't really matter because there was someone else making sure that we lost this one.

"I can already imagine how intellectually challenging this challenge will be", said Noah sarcastically.

I smiled, it doesn't matter what happened in the past, I was trying to build a different present this time and Heather isn't the same as before, she laid low for the moment, but it was in this challenge that she divided our team, and it also was when her enmity with Gwen really grew. I'll have to have an eye on her today and make sure we don't lose.

"Pff, hey dude, What's up with the new look?" Noah asked me.

"Eh?" mi hair now had a small short braid near my left ear, with some seagull feathers at the end, courtesy of Lindsay, I couldn't say anything or even undo it because I was afraid that might hurt her feelings and believe me seeing her cry isn't pretty, anyways, it didn't look that bad, but Noah is Noah and he would pass an opportunity to make a sarcastic comment. I just threw an energy bar to his face.

"Ouch!".

"Hehehe, you asked for it dude" said Trent, "I think it looks cool, gives you personality".

"Thanks".

-0-

We were in the amphitheater waiting for everyone to arrive and all of our team got surprised when we saw Gwen.

"Woah, what happened to your hair?" Owen asked her.

Gwen's hair now was a little curly at the ends and looked much fluffier and softer. Trent just could look with his mouth wide open, a fly flew inside of it.

"Somebody did my hair for me, Does it look weird?" she said while looking at... Lindsay? Did something happen between these two this morning? The cabins don't have cameras for obvious reasons, it doesn't matter how little Chris may care for privacy, so I can't know what happens inside of them, even if I watched the show.

Lindsay gave her a thumbs up, Heather looked at her angrily and tried to hide it while whistling.

"Uh girl, that style looks phenomenal" said LeShawna to her.

Noah rolled his eyes and nudged Trent with his elbow, "hey Gwen, saved you a seat" Trent said when he came to his senses.

Heather looked annoyed by this, like Lindsay's and Tyler's interaction, when I saw this episode on the Playa Des Losers I remember that the first thing I thought was that Heather was probably jealous and not because she liked either of the guys, but because the other girls were getting boyfriends before her, afterall she loved to be the center of attention, not even Alejandro could handle a relationship with her without many problems along the way, but it's not like he was the ideal boyfriend either.

Gwen took notice of my braid, "and what happened to you?".

"Lindsay," I told her.

"Lindsay" she answered back.

At that moment Chris appeared in the amphitheater, "Welcome to our new state of the art outdoor amphitheater", I have no idea what's new about it, that thing looked totally improvised, "okay, this week's challenge is a summer camp favorite, a talent contest".

"Hey, you wanted something different" I said to Noah.

"Shut up".

"Yes! Awesome!" said Owen.

"Each team has eight hours to pick their three most talented campers", everyone was excited for this, "These three will represent will represent them in the show tonight; sing, dance, juggle, anything goes as long as it's legal" he ended this by making an "I'm watching you" gesture to Duncan, he just snapped his fingers disappointingly, "you'll be judged by our resident talent scout, former DJ, VJ, and rap legend, Grand Master Chef!" I really doubt about the validity of those titles, "who will show his approval via the Chef-O-Meter" said Chris pointing to the air.

"Uh, What's he pointing to?" asked Tyler, confused.

"Probably to something that they'll add in post" answered Harold.

"Good luck" said Chris, while leaving.

POV. Gwen

*PIIIIIIIIII*

We were sitting in front of our cabin, when Heather blew a whistle in front of us, oh no, here it goes.

"Okay, I'm the team captain, so here's how it's going to work", of course not.

"Wait, Who said you were team captain?" Heather and I didn't get along, that's no secret, she didn't do anything to annoy me so far, LeShawna and I also have been ignoring her for now, in order not to divide the team, but even with our mutual silence I know she doesn't like me, her gaze says it clearly and it only gets worse when Trent pays attention to me, I don't wanna make a scene, but letting her be the captain is giving her too much freedom.

"And you really want to be in charge of all of this?" said Cody while pointing at the rest of the team, he always seemed to know what to say at the right moment, Owen scratched his chin and from it came out breakfast's leftovers, that he ended up eating, Noah read a book completely oblivious to everything and Lindsay was playing with her hair, no, I didn't want to deal with these lunatics.

Now that I think about it, I've seen Cody talking to Heather multiple times, are those two up to something? on the other side, Heather always looked annoyed when talking to him, maybe he's blackmailing her? Or maybe he's behind her because he thinks she's hot. He has shown off to be a very intelligent guy, but he's not very good at hiding the fact that he's a cheeky, somewhat perverted boy.

But he still hasn't made a mistake when it comes to making decisions, also, he stayed with me until the end of the Awake-A-Ton, I guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, "You know what? The position as leader is yours...for now", she just rolled her eyes at this.

"Hey, snagged you an extra muffin" said Trent to me when he arrived, at least someone here is partially normal.

"Thanks" I said to him, smiling.

Heather seemed to want to say something with annoyance, but she retracted, "Good, let's start the auditions," this is going to be a long day.

-0-

POV. Courtney

While we were watching Katie and Sadie dance, and I asked myself what was wrong with the world, my mind seemed to come to a single conclusion, "We haven't started good".

Bridgette, nodding in agreement with me, just made it worse.

-0-

POV. Gwen

I was already regretting getting out of bed this morning today while we watched Owen drink an entire bottle of soda in one gulp. I hope that's not his talent.

"Are you going to audition?" Trent asked me, I really doubted it, I could only think of one thing I could do and I really wasn't inspired.

"Doubtful, you should be in this though, I've heard you the other night by the dock, you're really good".

"Oh, so that's what it was, I thought there were mermaids singing serenades around the island," said Cody, that joke was terrible, so I punched him in the air, "Ouch! Come on, it was good".

"No, it wasn't" I answered him, Trent just laughed.

Owen threw the empty bottle and took a deep breath, oh no, I know what's coming "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, ZZZZZZZZZZ" he burped the entire alphabet, the boys cheered. Seriously? "Yes!".

Trent went to high five him, "That was excellent, man" not you too.

"Well you're not going to do that in this contest, it's disgusting", I hate to say it, but I agree with Heather.

"Do you know how hard it is to burp the entire alphabet in one go?", don't cheer for him, Trent.

"I can also toot Beethoven 's fifth" said Owen dropping his pants down, ok that's enough.

"Where are you going?" Heather asked me.

"Anywhere that's not here" I needed to write my thoughts to relax.

"Gwen wait, didn't you say that you were an artist?" Cody asked me, I did? "When did I say that?" He was silent for a moment; I swear I saw Noah put down his book and look at him with suspicion.

"It was at the Awake-A–Ton, when you were talking to Trent" he looked really nervous.

"Oh yeah, I think you mentioned it?" said Trent trying to memorize it.

To be honest I don't remember much of what happened during that challenge and trying to do it just gives me a headache, "What 's your point?".

"Can't you paint something to impress Chef? After all, we need to impress him" he had a point.

"I'm still nothing more than a novice, besides, I doubt something that I could paint would impress Chef, if I were to do something it would probably be for...", at that precise moment, it was like a lightning bolt hit me, inspiration came to me all of a sudden, I don't know if that would help us in the contest, but I'll be damned if it wouldn't be worth it just to see their face.

"Uh... Gwen, are you alright?".

"You know what? I just had a burst of inspiration, let me go first, I promise it will be worth it" I couldn't contain my emotion, he'll finally have the karma he deserves.

"Are you sure?" Heather asked me, "because if we lose because of you, I can guarantee you that you'll be going home", I couldn't care less at the moment.

"Believe me, after this, I will go home happy" Trent looked worried about what I said, but there's no going back.

Heather squinted her eyes evaluating me, "alright" she said indifferently, of course she didn't care if I went home or not, "okay people, we still need two other talents, let's see what you can do".

I continued my way, but this time with something different in mind, writing my feelings had to wait.

-0-

POV. Courtney

"Alright, who's next?" I asked.

"Oh, me, me, me", said Tyler raising his hand, which worried me.

Confessional.

Tyler

"I'll prove to Lindsay that I'm a better option than Cody, with my amazing yoyo tricks".

End of confessional.

"For Lindsay, here I go!" I decided not to scold him right now, he looked really motivated, he started to spin his yoyos at great speed, up until now it looked like a really impressive trick.

"Hey, don't you guys think he's going a little bit fast?" asked Sadie, while she and Katie retreated a little.

Indeed, Tyler's yoyos seemed to spin faster and faster, he had his eyes closed and he didn't realize this was happening.

"Tyler you have to stop!" screamed Bridgette.

"FOR LINDSAY!" he wasn't listening to us either, we all retreated a little more and then… the yoyo's strings snapped sending them flying to the air, "Eh?" Tyler was confused.

"Dude look u-" Geoff tried to warn him, Tyler looked up.

And the yoyos hit him in the face, "uuuhhhhh", we all said, Tyler got knocked out.

"Man, that is weak" said Chris, while he was passing through.

"Hahahahahahahahaha", Duncan laughed so much and he fell to the ground.

I facepalmed, "next".

POV. Cody

Heather was demonstrating her ballet skills, this was the only time I watched her dance, I don't know if this was all she had or if she had something else planned, because she never really participated.

I was keeping an eye on her so she didn't steal Gwen's diary, but I think there isn't any danger, I had to do something so I had to go, however, It didn't hurt to be cautious.

"Hi Izzy," I approached her while everyone watched Heather dance, she didn't need my help to be chosen.

"Hey Cody. What's up?".

"I need to ask you a little strange favor, could you keep an eye on Heather while I'm gone? Without making questions and tell me if she gets out of the girls cabin with a book".

She just stood there watching me quietly with a pokerface for a while, "Sure, why not?".

"Uff, thanks Izzy, I ow yo-".

"Ah, ah, ah" she put her finger on my lips, "I'm returning the favor, or did you forget it…?" she said mischievously.

I turned red when I remembered it, "oh... yeah... that... I completely forgot about it, thank you".

"No problem".

After that awkward exchange, I went looking for Chris. If things continued their course, then Gwen and Heather would participate in the talent contest.

Up until now I was able to make changes at different scales, but half of it was due to pure luck. I wanted to see if I could change something monumental in the competition or if I was only allowed to make small waves in this ocean.

From what I had observed so far, fate tended to correct its course and that is why many things continued to happen the same despite my interference. If that was the case, then everything I have done until now might have been in vain.I needed to know if I could cause a real turning point and the best opportunity I would have was the talent contest.

I finally found the host, "Hey Chris".

"Well, if it isn't the most deceitful and slippery gopher who has come to see me" he said happily.

I just rolled my eyes, of course he was aware of everything I had been doing, but I wasn't worried, as long as I didn't mention time travel, a wrong impression of me is all he would have.

Confessional.

Cody

"To win, I wanted to give my team all the advantages available".

End of confessional.

"There's something I wanted to ask you about the challenge".

...

After asking Chris what I needed to know I went to the cabins, I curiously found Gwen drawing sketches in her book.

"I guess you're working on your great inspiration" I said to her, "Any chance that you could let me see it before your debut?".

"None, I want it to be a surprise for everyone".

"Well, if it makes you happy then it will be worth the wait. I went to talk with Chris and I had an idea", I approached her and whispered my idea, the trees have ears after all.

"Woah, are you sure that's possible?".

"Yeah, he told me himself, so, what do you say?".

"We'll do it, we have nothing to lose".

"Good, I'll look for Heather to tell her".

"Hey", she stopped me, "I don't know what your relationship with her is, but don't let her charms manipulate you, okay?".

I looked at her for a moment, you're right Gwen, you don't know what my relationship with her is, but I think you just gave me the perfect cover., "Don't worry, she won't be able to resist all this forever." I said flexing my skinny arm.

She just rolled her eyes, "whatever you say Romeo, if you manage to succeed, spank that bitch hard, she deserves it".

"I'm not going to argue with that".

...

I went back to the cabins and it seems like they had no problem putting out Beth's fire this time either.

Behind the cabins Lindsay was sitting on a log, while Heather practiced stretching, raising her leg above her head, watching her get ready to practice gave me a little relief, it means she was really going to try.

"That's some impressive flexibility." I said, looking shamelessly.

"Enjoy the view while you can nerd, I doubt you'll ever see that much of a woman for the rest of your life.", she insulted me, if you only knew, "Well, we don't know what the Bass are going to do, so let's have a backup plan ready in case we lose. I say we get rid of Gwen, she already said she doesn't care." of course that's the reason.

"Uh... I don't know Heather, she's really not that bad", said Lindsay defending Gwen to my surprise.

Of course, I forgot that she fixed Gwen's hair this morning for some reason, I'll have to ask her about it later, for now let's make sure Heather doesn't rip her head off.

"It won't be needed, I think I have a plan to win the contest", I told them, I gestured for them both to come closer and whispered my plan.

Lindsay seemed delighted, while Heather still seemed to have doubts, "Do you really think it will work?".

"I'm sure" No I wasn't, but she didn't need to know it.

She thought for a while, "Alright, I don't want to lose again against those stupid Bass, it better work or I'm seriously going to be very angry." she warned me.

"Okay, Lindsay get Beth, I need you guys to go get some materials" she nodded and left, "Heather, take off that outfit".

She looked at me with one eyebrow raised and her hands on her hips, I just rolled my eyes, "in the cabin with clothes to change, happy?".

"You are a dork, you know?".

"¡Hey! That's part of the charm".

-0-

POV. Courtney

Bridgette was gorging herself on chips with guilt for destroying my violin, I was still a little upset about it, but at this point all that mattered was the contest.

It seems like the Gophers had chosen Gwen, Trent, and Heather as their contestants. Lindsay was putting makeup on Heather, I wonder what they had planned.

At the front of the stage Chris was starting the presentation of the contest, "Well, it's time, get ready team" I said to them.

-0-

POV. Cody

I was standing behind one of the stage curtains with my keyboard, I remember I brought it last time, but I never tried to enter the talent show.

Chris was about to call the first contestant, which would be Gwen. What I asked the host were two things, the first was how the point system worked, even if Harold had obtained a perfect score, the sum of all the Bass' points still did not exceed ours. If a perfect score was an automatic victory, what if both teams got a perfect score? It was his response that made me have this idea.

The second thing I asked him was if the presentations could have support and to my surprise, he said yes, as long as it was not directly seen during the presentation, in fact, he seemed surprised that only one camper asked him the rules.

It seems like we were all so focused on winning that we didn't really think about all the possibilities.

"First up from the Screaming Gophers is Gwen" it was finally time.

The curtain opened, Gwen was wearing an apron, and next to her there was a canvas with its back to the audience, with paints and brushes, she gave me a thumbs up which meant she was ready.

I started playing a punk melody, it was one of his favorite songs.

"Oh yeah, this is music" said Duncan who now paid all his attention to the show.

Gwen started painting quickly to the rhythm of the music, no one could see what she was painting, not even me, but she was really focused, she looked like a professional artist. When she said that she was just a novice I don't know if she said it because she tends to be pessimistic or because she had never had anything she really wanted to paint.

She finally stopped painting, so I stopped playing and peeked through the curtain and almost choked on laughter.

After a moment of anticipation, she finally flipped her drawing over.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha" and laughter erupted from both teams, some falling to the ground clutching their ribs.

"What the hell?" Chris said dumbfounded.

The image was a poorly drawn portrait of Chris, only bald and in a skater suit, I don't know if it was poorly done on purpose to make him look like that or it was because of the rush, but it sure was funny, although for me and probably chef, It was much better since we were the only ones who knew that Chris wore a toupee and Gwen's drawing was very accurate in that regard.

Confessional.

Gwen

"I don't care if I go home for this, revenge feels so good".

End of confessional.

"Yeah, yeah, very funny" Chris said humorlessly, "but unfortunately, I doubt that this amateur job will give you a grade above... Six!? Oh, come on, really?".

Confessional.

Chef Hatchet

Only his legs could be seen "Hahahahahahahaha, it's... it's funny because it's true".

End of confessional.

"Alright Bass it's your turn, try to surpass that and I mean it" sounds like someone is in a bad mood.

-0-

POV. Courtney

DJ came out to do his number, in the meantime I noticed that Bridgette was about to puke, "Are you alright?".

"Yeah, it's just scenic panic" it wasn't just that to me.

After Gwen's presentation we needed that all the team to do ok and I was starting to doubt DJ.

Then I remembered that anti-allergy paste that Cody gave me, "wait here, I'll come back soon", I ran to find what I needed.

-0-

POV. Gwen

Cody told me to go back with the team to listen to Trent's song from the public. DJ did it well at the beggining, but then his ribbon tangled itself in his legs making him fall. It was pretty unfortunate.

"Dainty and yet masculine" said Chris, "let 's see what Grand Master Chef thinks... hm not much, come on Chef, it was a good presentation, don't you think he deserves a bigger score?", it's a good thing that Chris isn't the judge in this contest, I doubt he can be truly impartial, "Well that's all, just two thumbs up for DJ" he got out of the stage, "and now presenting for you and not waiting for his instrument to get ruined by accident, is Trent".

"This one goes out to someone special here at camp" He looked at me directly, I could not help but blush a little.

-0-

POV. Courtney

"I'm back" I arrived with a flask, "drink this, it will help you with your nausea".

She seemed doubtful, "What's in this thing?".

"Believe me, you don't want to know, it's something they taught me to prepare for motion sickness, it's very effective".

"I don't know".

"Listen, I know you didn't break my violin on purpose, and I... I forgive you for that, but right now we need you to go out there and stand up for the team".

She looked at me for a while, but then she held out her hand, "Give me that flask".

-0-

POV. Cody

I was standing near the stage when Trent's song ended. Lindsay was putting the finishing touches on Heather, so she wouldn't be here watching his and Gwen's interactions.

"Nice work dude, although I wouldn't call it worthy of an eight" Chris really wants us to lose, "Ok, let's hear it for Bridgette".

She entered the stage doing a handstand, but this time there was no burping, her face was dripping with a little sweat, but nothing more. Something must have changed for this to happen.

"¡Yeah!, ¡Come on babe!" cheered Geoff from behind the curtains.

"Yeah, that's cute, but that' s all? You won't win against the Badgers like this" Chris accidentally kicked Geoff's skateboard onto the stage right into Bridgette's path, "Ups".

"Woah... wow... wa... ahhhhh!" Bridgette rode the skateboard across the stage with her hands.

Everyone was tense, watching her go from one side to the other, in an accidental movement, she slipped, but instead of crashing down the stage, she did so standing up and with her arms raised.

Everything was silent for a moment, but it was quickly broken by the applause of the audience. I hate to admit it, but that was spectacular.

"And Bridgette gets eight points for the Bass!", now I was nervous, everything would depend on the last two, so I went to my position for the show.

-0-

POV. Courtney

"Bridgette, that was amazing" I said while hugging her.

"It was just luck, have your skateboard Geoff".

"Thanks" she gave him the skateboard, but then it broke in two, the three of us had our eyes wide open.

"That's not good," said Bridgette.

"Bass, you're up" said to us Chris.

"What? But it is the Gophers turn", I said to him.

"They asked to go last in the third round, believe me, now I regret allowing it, you have two minutes" and then he left.

"What do we do now?" Geoff asked, alarmed.

"Katie and Sadie?" Bridgette proposed.

I shuddered, "They can't handle this, and we still don't know what the Gophers are going to do" I said to them.

"Well... there is someone on our team that we don't know what he can do either.".

"Oh no, not him".

The three of us peeked through the curtain to see Harold in the audience aDJusting his underwear. Geoff and Bridgette looked at me, "ah, okay, what do we have to lose?"

-0-

POV. Cody

I was back on stage waiting for our turn, like last time the Bass sent Harold away. Knowing them, Courtney must have felt desperate.

Harold did his beatbox presentation and to no one 's surprise everyone loved it.

"And surprisingly Harold achieves a perfect score for the Bass, I think with this we already have a clear winner".

"Ejem".

"Oh right, the Bass still have one contestant left, well, if you want to go out and humiliate yourselves, go ahead".

"Hey, Cody already participated in the first round," Courtney complained.

"Technically he's just providing assistance, he didn't appear in the first act, he's nothing more than a prop at this point" said Chris mocking me.

"Hey!".

"I didn't know assistance could be given," Courtney said in dismay.

"Of course not, he was the only one who bothered to ask the rules" Chris said, regaining some of his humor.

Confessional.

Courtney

"The one time I decide not to ask about the rules of something", she said facepalming.

End of confessional.

"Now let's finish this, give it up for Heather".

The stage lights went out, it was time, I started playing the song from Swan Lake, but it wasn't the original, this one was much faster and more aggressive, a reinvention that I made with my keyboard for this moment, perfect for the protagonist of this act.

A single lamp illuminated the center of the stage, and there standing on tiptoe was Heather, only she was not wearing the pink tutu from this morning, instead she had a black dress with feathers that reached above her knees, her hair was down. and curly hair courtesy of Lindsay and her face was perfectly made up.

More than one jaw dropped just from her appearance.

She started dancing straight away quite aggressively, just like the song was, it accelerated the pace the longer it played and she was able to keep up perfectly, I was never going to question Heather's ballet skills again, she performed poses and movements truly complicated one after another, she was truly giving her all in this act. A few minutes later, the song ended, but it felt like hours. She ended up just in a bowing position, breathing hard and fast. It may have been minutes, but they were very intense minutes.

The entire clearing was silent, and then applause exploded. Both teams stood up for a standing ovation.

Confessional.

Gwen

"Okay, I'll say it bluntly, she's pretty good.".

Noah

"Something interesting about Swan Lake is-" the transmission was cut off there.

Owen

"I think I just gained a new respect for swans".

Bridgette

"I wonder what will happen now".

End of confessional.

"Alright, even I'll admit that was impressive" said Chris taking center stage.

"Of course it was," Heather said arrogantly, but she looked quite tired.

"And Chef's opinion is... A perfect score! The Gophers catch up with the Bass at the last second".

"Does that means that it's a tie?" asked Courtney hopeful. I'm sorry, Courts.

"I'm afraid... not, in case both teams get a perfect score, the result will be decided by the sum of all their points" Chris said, it seems that now that the show is over, he returned to his default host status.

I already knew about the points, the reason we asked to go last was to prevent the Bass from doing something unexpected and because of how the competition went, it was very likely.

The Bass' eyes were wide open, "but that means..." said Bridgette, understanding everything.

"Yes, With a difference of four points, the Screaming Gophers win!" I pumped my fist in victory and celebrated along with my team, but for a completely different reason.

I had achieved it, I was really able to turn the competition around, the possibility of a better future was getting bigger and bigger.

Owen lifted the four of us who participated onto his shoulders, "gophers, gophers, gophers" the others chanted as we went off to celebrate, probably another jacuzzi party.

Meanwhile the Bass seemed more defeated than ever, but I know they would be fine, they have very tough and stubborn players after all.

Confessional.

DJ

"Well, it was good while it lasted, but I'm sure I'll go home tonight, it's only fair after all".

End of confessional.

I was sitting under a tree looking at the stars. I had to leave the party for a moment since the emotions were too much, I had managed to make a breakthrough today or rather everything really started now. This was a big leap, but it wasn't the last, there were still things to fix, the road was quite long, at least now I know I can do it.

"¡Hi Cody!"

"¡AHH!" Izzy was hanging upside down from a branch right in front of me.

"Esquire Izzy comes to give her report" she said with a military salute.

Report? Oh right, I asked her to keep an eye on Heather, "it's okay Izzy, it's-"

"I was stalking her while she was practicing and I came to the conclusion that she has no bones".

"..."

"Then I saw her put a bunch of things in a blender including eggs, I think she might belong to the underground race of lizard people", after knowing that aliens exist, I wouldn't be surprised if lizard people were a thing, but Heather being one, it was actually fun to imagine., "Finally I was watching her very carefully while she was showering. Did you know that she has two moles near her left nipple?".

My face turned red and my eyes widened at that last part, "Well, now I know, that's enough Esquire Izzy, thanks for your... service I guess?".

"Let me know if you have another spy mission, Esquire Izzy is everywhere", she said moving her hands, then disappeared into the thick of the forest.

"That doesn't make me feel comfortable".

POV. Heather

I had pain in several places on my body, the consequences of not being able to practice since I came to this pigpen I suppose, but it was worth it to see the destroyed faces of the Bass, they really thought they could reach us, ha, how funny.

Despite the pain, I hadn't felt so light in a long time, even my mood was better than ever at this moment, maybe that's why I didn't bother to think about why Izzy was watching me so attentively while I was bathing.

"That's the best place for a piece of art like that," said LeShawna.

Gwen was hanging her portrait of Chris in a place where we could all see it and laugh. Yeah, definitely nothing could ruin my mood tonight, "hey Gwen, I have to admit that you really have talent."

She was surprised by my comment, "wow, thank you, you didn't do bad either, that dance was pretty brutal."

"Obviously, it's me after all".

"Oh it's you alright, with that kindness I thought you might have been replaced".

"Ha, ha" I layed down on my bed to sleep. I know that the only reason I didn't pick a fight with Gwen was because of the agreement with Cody, but I have to admit, this peace of mind isn't bad at all.

POV. Third person

The Bass were in the bonfire and Chris already had a tray of marshmallows. "Bass, what can I say, I am really disappointed in you and not because you lost the challenge, but because once again it will be an elimination that is not at all dramatic and unpredictable".

"Wanna hurry up? we're tired," answered Duncan, irritated.

The host shrugged and began handing out the marshmallows, "Duncan, Tyler, Katie, Sadie, Geoff, Courtney, Harold and Bridgette are safe, DJ you were the worst in the talent show so you're going home, see? very predictable".

"Well, at least I had fun," he said as he stood up to go to the dock.

"I'm sorry dude, take care," said Geoff.

"Don't forget to write," said Duncan.

The girls gave him a farewell hug.

"Thanks guys, don't give up yet, I know you can win this", with that said he walked down the dock, got into the boat and left with the other losers.

As the Bass return to their cabins, Chris stands looking at the camera, "And there goes another, Will the Bass recover from their hard fall? Will I get revenge on Gwen for her crime against art? Will these campers ever learn to ask the rules? I doubt it, all this and more next week on TOTAL… DRAMA… ISLAND!".
