Chapter 182: Power Ponies

It was a few days after the fillies and colts got back from the Crystal Empire and everything was normal for the most part with only an occasional Heartless attack after they had arrived back home, eveyrone going about their daily lives, but during that night, Twilight was peacefully sleeping away, Octavia having the guest bed as she was willing to house her untiol they could find her more permanent accommodations when a light came on, disturbing them both as they tried to stay asleep. A second later, they woke up to see who it was that turned the light on and saw it was Spike, reading a comic book, flipping the page to move onto the next one.

"Spike, what are you doing?" Twilight asked. "It's the middle of the night."

"Yeah Spike, why are you reading in the middle of the night?" Octavia asked. "You should be asleep right now."

"Oh, come on girls." Spike said. "Just a couple more minutes. I'm just getting to the good part! The Mane-iac is about to-"

"Wait, the Mane-iac?" Twilight asked. "Who's that?"

"Oh, she's the power ponies most evil nemesis, that's who!" Spike said, showing her who he was talking about. "She was once a power mad owner of a hair care product company. But a tragic accident at her shampoo factory in Maretropilis gave her mane strange powers. But because of that, it caused her to go completely insane!" Both Twilight and Octavia looked at the comic and saw the pony come out of the vat, looking completely insane as the mares looked at one another, not sure what to make of it. "She and her hench ponies plan on breaking into Maretropolis museum and steal the Electro orb and use it to power up her doomsday device! Which she wouldn't have known about the orb if Hum Drum didn't let that slip."

"Hum Drum?" Octavai asked.

"Oh, he's this powerless and very useless sidekick who follows them around trying to help." Spike said. "And if the Power Ponies don't stop the Mane-iac, then Maretropolis is doomed!"

"I know another person who's going to be doomed if he doesn't go back to sleep." Octavia said, stomping back to the bed and jumping in, using the pillow to cover her head to try and get some sleep.

"Why's she so grouchy?" Spike asked.

"She's still not use to being away from her home Spike." Twilight said, using her magic to turn the light off. "Not to mention ponies get cranky when they don't get some sleep. And believe me, I know what it's like to get caught up in a really good book, but if we are going to fix up Princess Celestia's and Luna's old castle, we need to get some sleep. We don't want to be too tired to lend a hoof, or claw, tomorrow helping to fix it up."

"Eh, I guess you're right." Spike said, walking back to his bed. "I can continue to read it tomorrow. According to the comic, it's going to be a cross over with something called a Rider or something like that and there are going to be a couple new heroes to join the Power Ponies in this edition."

Twilight giggled at the baby dragon as he got back into his bed, turning the light off as Twilight got back into bed herself.

"Goodnight Spike." Twilight said, looking to Octavia. "Goodnight Octavia."

Twilight closed her eyes to go back to sleep, Octavia uncovering her head and looked to Twilight and Spike, seeing how happy they were as she lied back down on her bed, closing her eyes as she started to miss her father, slowly drifting to sleep while Spike's words echoed in her head about Hum Drum and about how useless he was, thinking how useless she felt right now. The next day, the Mane Six, Spyro, and Octavia were making their way to the Castle of the Two Sisters to start cleaning it up, whcih the girls were busy in the foyer and near the thrones, cleaning them up while Spyro was teaching Octavia how to use her wings so she could fly to dust the walls and clean the places where they couldn't, the demon having an issue with flying for a bit before she started to get the hang of it, using her hooves to hold the cloth, but she kept dropping it, flying down and picking it up and putting it back in the bucket to get it wet, but Spyro could see that she was distracted, flying down to her as she sighed, dropping the cloth in the bucket as he landed next to her.

"What's wrong Octavia?" Spyro asked. "You seem upset about something."

"Oh, it's nothing." Octavia said, kicking her hoof. "I just miss my dad, that's all."

"I understand how you feel." Spyro said. "I also miss my parents, but whenever I miss them, I just conjure a window to communicate with them, but I make sure I'm off world so that they don't see me in my Equestrian form. My dads... kinda... well... I love him and all, but sometimes he can be a real jerk. But I don't let that get between us and I always talk to him despite how I felt. Maybe later I can teach you how to conjure your own window so you can talk to your dad."

"That's... the other thing." Octavia said, confusing him. "You see... Spike was reading a coming last night about a group of ponies called Power Ponies and-"

"Wait, Power Ponies!?" Spyro asked in excitement, which she nodded. "Seriously!? Pony versions of the Power Rangers!? What do they do to transform!? What kind of Morphers do they have to allow them to change!?"

"Uh, what?" Octavia asked.

"You know, Morphers." Spyro replied. "What they use to transform into thwir colorful battle suits. Like for Power Rangers Dino Charge, they have gun shaped Dino Chargers they put their crystals in and fire, changing into Rangers. Or the Power Rangers from Lost galaxies where they have the Galacta Sabers and use them to transform and to fight and-"

"Wow, wow, wow, fan boy much?" Octavia asked, giggling at him.

"Oh, sorry." Spyro said. "When I was six to ten years old, I'g get up every Saturday morning to watch cartoons on Jetix and watch cartoons like Yugioh, Yugioh GX, Yugioh 5D's, those are my favorite cartoons to watch every Saturday, almost never missed an episode, the Power Rangers, Cubix, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teen titans, not those revamped versions of those two cartoons, they look terrible. Ah, memories."

"Sounds like you had a good childhood." Octavia said.

"I did." Spyro said. "There was also a time where I use to go out and go to the park, got dirty and had fun with my friends back home before those little Devil Boxes became so popular and outside activities became all but a distant memory, yes, I'm that old school. Well, before I got into my teens and I was on my own Devil Box most of the time, completely addicted to it like the Wild Man from the Little Rascals being addicted to candy, going nuts and wanting it when he first sees it. But we're getting off topic here. Tell me, what was it about Spike's that's got you so upset?"

"Well... it's one of the characters in his comic, Hum Drum." Octavia replied, sitting down. "He's someone who has n powers and follows them around trying to help." She then called her Keyblade, looking at it as she sat there. "I'm starting to have second thoughts about me being a Keyblade Bearer. I might have one, but... but I can't use my powers. I can barely manage a teleportation spell, let alone being able to summon this thing. I feel useless if I can't use my own powers." Octavia then set the blade down, lowering her head as she tried to hide her sorrow. "Maybe I should just-"

"Just what?" Spyro asked, sitting next to her. "Just quit?" Octavia looked at him, nodding her head in agreement with him while he blew raspberries away from her, not believing what he was hearing. "Look Octavia, I said I would train you and that's what I'm doing. I'm teaching you how to swing and handle the blade before I teach you how to use your magic." He could see how upset she was, giving her a warm smile as he put his hoof on her shoulder, getting her attention as she looked at him. "But, maybe it's time you learned."

"You sure?" Octavia asked. "You really think I'm ready?"

"Better to learn now than later." Spyro replied. "We'll get you started on learning how to use your horn while in this form before we start on you learning how to use your demonic magic."

"But... do you even know the first thing about demon magic?" Octavia asked.

"Not a single thing." Spyro replied playfully. "But that won't keep me from teaching you some of my own magic to help you along."

"Hey guys!" Spike shouted, running to them. However, as he was running to them, his foot ended up in the bucket they were using to soak their rags in, which he ended up getting the bucket stuck on his foot as he ran to them, noticing it and hopping along to get the bucket off. "Dang it! Not again!"

"Spike, what are you doing here?" Spyro asked as Spike got the bucket off his foot. "I thought you were helping the others in the foyer."

"I asked if I could help anypony int he Foyer." Spike said. "But when I asked, no pony needed my help. Twilight suggested I go read my comic, but I really want to help."

"Well... maybe there is something you can help us with." Spyro said, makign the baby dragons eyes light up and smile. "If you could, could you go into the ancient library and see if you can find any books on magic, whether it's ancient or modern? I want to begin teaching Octavia how to use her magic."

"I'm on it!" Spike said, running out happily.

"Why have him do that?" Octavia asked. "We could have done that on our own."

"Well, I saw how upset Spike was when no one wanted his help." Spyro said. "So, I gave him something simple to do. Besides..." Spyro then waved his hoof and a moment later, the air above them turned to water and cleaned the room instantly, shocking Octavia as she looked at him. "I think we're do for a break anyway. Come on, let's get you started on your magical training."

"You could have seriously done that this whole time!?" Octavia asked him, completely annoyed.

"Eh, a little hard labor never hurt nobody." Spyro replied with a mischievous grin. "Come on, let's get you started on your training."

They walked out of the room they were in and made their way to the library, which Spike had managed to assemble a large collection of magical books that they could look through and try out, some of the Spells Spyro found to be useful for himself while others seemed to be incomplete, noting those spells down in his own tomes to complete later. He found a simple levitation spell for Octavia to try and had her practice it while Spike was reading his comic after having gotten the tomes and books Spyro needed. After a few minutes, Octavia's horn started to glow a dark purple, squeezing her eyes tight as she tried to lift up one of the books, focusing as hard as she could on lifting the book up, but as she was focusing, her magic was starting to flicker, the aura on her horn flickering a bit before the book dropped down, groaning in annoyance as she hit her head on the table in frustration.

"I'll never get this down." Octavia said, moving her head to look at the book. "I don't understand how you do it so easily, yet I'm struggling so much."

"Probably because your magical powers haven't been used at all." Spyro said, walking around and lifting a book. "When someone doesn't use their powers for a long time, they tend to get rusty, but when others are just getting around to using their magic, it's like their magic is waking up from a long slumber. It just takes some getting use to." He then walked over with the book, putting it on the table and flipping the pages to something easy for her. "Here, try this."

"A light spell?" Octavia asked.

"Fillies and Colts learn this at a young when their magic is strong enough." Spyro replied. "It just makes a small ball of light appear at the tip of your horn. Go on, give it a try." Octavia looked at Spyro, unsure if she should really try, but she closed her eyes and tried to create the ball of light, which her horn produced sparks as she tried to make a ball of light, trying to force it, but Spyro just face smacked himself, not believing what he was seeing as she gave up. "No Octavia, not like that. You shouldn't try to force your magic. Let it flow."

"Let it flow?" Octavia asked.

"Yes, let it flow." Spyrop replied. "Magic simply isn't something you can just force to work for you as it is a part of you. Trying to force it will cause you some pain and a huge headache. Instead, let go of yourself and surrender yourself to it."

"Surrender myself to it?" Octavia asked. "Yeah, I don't think so."

"Come now Octavia, don't you want to learn what you're capable of?" Spyro asked, which she nodded. "Then you need to let down your guard and surrender control." He then sat down and started to move his hooves in the same fashion the Ancient one did, the pruple sparks making the same symbol that she made, which Octavia was watching him with fascination until he pushed forward and the symbol moved to her, making her flinch a bit before the symbol disappeared and she looked at him in surprise. "Your fear of learning about magic keeps you from learning the simplest of spells. Only when one surrenders who they originally are can they finally learn what they're truly capable of."

"But... in order for me to gain control I must surrender control?" Octavia asked. "That doesn't make any sense."

"When it come to magic, nothing ever does." Spyro replied. "Now, try again. And this time, surrender yourself."

Octavia looked at him curiously, but then looked back to the book, reading over how the spell works and closed her eyes, but this time she didn't try to force the spell to work, but imagined it in her mind, lowering her guard, letting go of her fears and allowing her powers for move freely, Spyro watching her as her horn started to glow dark purple again and a moment later, a small ball of light appeared before it growed brighter and brighter, making Spyro smile as Octavia opened her eyes and looked up, seeing she made the ball of light and cheered for pure joy.

"I did it!" She screamed. I actually did it!"

"See, I knew you could do it." Spyro said. "You just needed to let go of your fears."

"Hey, can you guys keep it down please?" Spike asked, both of them looking to him. "I'm getting to the part where the Mane-iac just broke into the museum."

"Oh, sorry Spike." Spyro replied. They both went to the secret room that he was reading his comic. "How's the comic going anyway?"

"Oh, Hum Drum is being useless as usual." Spike replied. "Guess I know what that feels like."

"Oh Spike, you're not useless." Spyro replied. "You're a great helper. Whenever someone needs you, you're always there to help."

"Yeah, until now." Spike said, flipping the page to continue reading his comic. "Wait what!?"

"Spike, what's wrong?" Spyro asked.

Both he and Octavia walked over to see what was wring, only to see the next page was blank on the comic, confusing them.

"I don't get it." Octavia said. "I know it's a comic, but shouldn't there be something that says the comic would continue into the next edition or something?"

"That's usually the point, yes." SPyro said, looking at it. "Comincs when they reach the limit of how many pages they can have, they put down that it would continue to the next edition. There's no way that this is the end."

"It just can't be the end!" Spike said, looking it over before he saw something in the bottom right corner of the page. "Hey, what's this? You can retry, uh, return, ugh, the print's too small!"

"Hey, wasn't there a magnifying glass here the last time we visited?" Spyro asked.

"Hey, yeah, you're right!" Spike said. "I think it's in here somewhere."

The three of them started to look around for the magnifying glass, looking under the pillows and behind the shelves to see if they could find the when Octavia spotted it, imagining her magic picking up the glass item and passing it to Spike.

"Found it." Octavia said.

"Thanks Octavia." Spike said, grabbing the Magnifying glass.

"Spike, Spyro, Octavia, where the heck are you three!?" Applejack shouted as the girls were nearing the library.

"We're breaking for Tea and Biscuits!" Rarity chimed in.

"We're in the library!" Spyrp shouted back as everyone walked in.

"There you three are." Twilight said. "Why are you guys in the library?"

"I came in here to help Octavia get a handle on her powers." Spyro replied. "I started her off on the easy stuff when we came in here to take a break with Spike."

"But his comic ended suddenly and there's some kind of writting on the corner of the page." Octavia said. "So we helped him to find a magnifying glass so he could read what was written."

As she said it, Spike held up the magnifying glass and looked at the page to see what was written.

"You can return to the place where you started, when the Mane-iac is defeated." Spike said, confusing everyone. "Take a closer look if you want to join the adventure in this book?"

"Wait, what?" Rainbow Dash asked. "What does that even mean?"

"Got me." Spyro replied. You can return to the place where you started... join the adventure in this... oh no."

"What's wrong Spyro?" Twilight asked.

A moment later, the book started to glow, which it captivated the baby dragon, but a moment later, it started to suck him into the book, which he tried to fight back as the others all watched in horror.

"Spike!" Twilight shouted.

She then ran up and grabbed Spike by the tail, which she tried to pull him out, but the book just started to suck her in as well, everyone running to help their friends as. Rainbow Dash grabbed Twilight and tried to pull, but she was staring to get sucked in as well until Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy ran over, thier combined strength working to pulled them out, but the books magic was stronger as it started to pull them in, So Spyro and Octavia rushed over and granned the ponies, Spyro's incredible strength working to pull them out, but the book seemed to adapt to his strength as well and started to pull them in, sucking them in while Pinkie just bounced and cheered, voluntarily jumping into the book as it closed. A moment later, Spike soon woke up, followed by Spyro as they both groaned and Spike got up, looking around while Spyro got up, feeling a little different than before, but didn't think too much about it as he looked to Spike, who was now wearing a red cape with blue boots and gloves and a black mask, surprising him.

"Is this... Maretropolis?" Spike asked.

"Well, it's definitely not the ruined castle of the two sisters." Spyro said, making Spike look back at him and jump up, yelling in fear as he looked at him. "Spike, what's wrong? What's the matter?"

"S... Spyro?" Spike asked. "Is that you?"

"Can Somepony tell us what the heck is going on here!?" Applejack asked.

They both turned around andf their jaws dropped, both of them looking at their friends and seeing that they were completely different, Twilight wearing a dark maroon costume with with a small blue cape and silver boots, the mask maroon and blue with the horn in the blue section of the mask. Pinkie's mane looked much shorter than it was before and was swept back, wearing a full white body suit with purple arrows zigzagging all across the suit while Rainbow Dash was wearing a dark blue outfit, the hooves white with lightning bolts pinned just above her hooves, her mane sticking up and over the head gear she was wearing and wearing a yellow lightning bolt pendant. Rarity however was wearing a blue outfit with blue diamonds all over the outfit while her mane and tail were styled differently with purple gems in her mane and purple gem bracelets on her forehooves with a blue mask over her eyes. Applejack wore a red and black jumpsuit with her mask showing her eyes and muzzle, her mane and tail tied together with green wrapping and was wearing a black saddle bag that seemed to be caqrrying some golden horseshoes and a golden lasso. As for Fluttershy, she was wearing a green suit with a short purple scarf that has a flower brooch on it, wearing bracelets with butterfly's on them, a purple mask and her own mane and tail were swept back.

"Holy persona change!" Spike exclaimed, pointing at each of them individually and in the order as mentioned above as he recognized each of them. "You're the Masked Matter-horn, Fili-Second, Zapp!" He then looked to Rarity and heart's immediately filled his eyes as he looked at her. "R-Radiance." He then shook his head, getting out of his love trance as he remembered she was with Spyro and looked to APplejack and Fluttershy. "Misytress Mare-velous, Saddle Rager! Holy new persona, you're the Power Ponies!"

"Uh, the what now?" Applejack asked.

"He means the characters from his comic." Octavia replied.

They all looked to her and everyone jumped and screamed, finding that she was wearing a dark suit with purple glowing symbols on her suit and dark purple gems running across her forelegs. She also had demon wings on her back, one of her eyes covered by her mask to keep it covered and her mane being tied together with black tendrils of pure darkness.

"D-D-Demonica." Spike said.

"Uh, excuse me?" Octavia asked.

"Y-You're Demonica, one of the new characters for the series!" Spike said. "She was once a troubles teen who got picked on a lot and turned to the dark arts to get her revenge, but her revenge ended up changing her for the worse and now has to live the rest of her life in total darkness!"

"Wait, seriously?" Octavia asked, looking at herself. "She... she became this... for revenge?"

She then reached up, noticing that her right eye was covered and attempted to remove the mask.

"NO DON'T!" Spike shouted, making ehr stop and look at him in surprise. "One of Demonica's eyes was changed completely, making whoever looks into her eye become marked and will then get swallowed up by a demon!"

"O...k then." Octavia said. "Leaving the patch on." She and everyone else then looked to Spyro, which to their surprise changed completely as instead of him being half pony and half dragon anymore, he was just a regular unicorn with a purple coat, golden mane and pony tail and was wearing a black shirt with a white lab coat with metalic boots on. "Wait, whose this guy?"

"Come on, you're joking right?" Spyro asked. "It's me, Spyro." the girls all then gasped, which made Spyro even more confused. "Why is everypony so surprised to see me? You literally see me everyday."

"That's because we know you're half pony and half dragon." Twilight replied. "You look like a regular unicorn now!"

Spyro was now no longer confused, but more so panicked, using his magic to conjure a mirror and look at himself, yelling in fear as the mirror disappeared and he nearly went over the edge, Rainbow Dash and Twilight running over and catching him before he fell as he looked angrily at Spike.

"Spike, explain, now!" Spyro exclaimed loudly.

"Oh, you're Tech." Spike replied. "You're basically the tech genius and engineer of the Power Ponies. All you do is make inventions to help the Power ponies and help Demonica to find a way to return to her normal self."

"But why the heck am I a unicorn instead of a hybrid!?" Spyro shouted, looking to he others. "I mean, the others are the exact same, more or less, but why the heck am I not a hybrid!?"

"Well, I don't really know." Spike replied. "Maybe the comic didn't have anypony who matched your powers and your strength and gave you somepony who was about as smart as you."

"Oh that's just great!" Spyro exclaimed. "Fan-freaking-tastic! Guess what ladies and gentlemen!? I got dicked over by a freaking comic book! And I'm named after the clone trooper from Star Wars series Bad Batch because the author was probably too freaking lazy to come up with an even better name!

Hey! I spent three hours out in the cold today flagging terraces all on my own and getting some control points while walking for over 5,000 feet through rough terrain and damn near falling into a frozen pond that barely supported my weight, trying to get a point that I needed just to get the job done before quiting time! I'm allowed to be lazy right now so be grateful that you got a character that at least has the same IQ as you do because I am not in the mood for arguing with you now!

"Oh great, now the author is being an @#hole and is yelling at me!" Spyro exclaimed, Twilight covering Spikes ears when he said that. "Can this day get any worse!?"

A moment later, there was a loud explosion came from behind the building and everyone rushed over and looked down, seeing that the front of the museum had just exploded as everyone below them was fleeing from the scene.

"Ya just had to ask, didn't ya?" Applejack asked.

"Please don't start AJ." Spyro said. "I'm in a foul enough mood as it is."

"Power ponies." A womans voice said. They all looked down to see green tentacles come out and from the smoke, the Mane-iac appeared, her coat purple and her hair green, which was the source of the tentacles, wearing a dark purple outfit wiht black boots and a golden necklace and braces on the boots, the ourside of her eyes green while the inside was red, her hair carrying her out as her hair was holding the Electro-orb. "How kind of you to join us."

"Ok, who the heck is the lady with the Hentai hair?" Spyro asked.

"That's the Mane-iac!" Spike exclaimed. "And she has the Electro-Orb! It's the only thing that will power up her doomsday device!"

She then started to laugh maniacally while everyone else was confused, looking to Spike for answers.

"Ok Spike, spill, who exactly is the Mane-iac?" Spyro asked.

"She's the Power Ponies arch nemesis!" Spike replied.

"And how the heck do we get out of here?" Spyro asked. "I mean, this is just a comic book right?"

"Yeah, why not have either Spyro or Twilight just zap us out of this crazy place!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"That's not going to work." Spike replied. "The only way to get out of here is to defeat the Mane-iac."

"Oh well isn't that grand." Spyro said sarcastically.

"Time for the 'mane' event!" Mane-iac said, laughing at her own pun.

"Oh for crying out loud!" Spyro exclaimed in annoyance. "That has got to be the worse pun by a villain ever!"

A second later, the Mane-iac threw a pretzel cart at them, which destroyed a corner on the top of the building and made Spyro raise his forelegs, trying to block the dust, but as he was looking at the corner, the Mane-iac saw him and her eyes widened, surprised to see him.

"Tech?" She asked, an evil smile appearing on her face. "Oh, my day just keeps getting better and better."

"Wow, that was close." Spyro said. He then looked up and saw a mail box come flying at them, his eyes shrinking as he looked. "Air Mail, four o'clock!"

Everyone jumped out of the way, but Pinkie was frozen, the box seemingly hitting her as everyone looked at it, believing their friend was gone, but then they heard her excited screams, seeing she was running up and down buildings extremely fast before zipping through the streets as she ran.

"Wait, what!?" Spyro exclaimed. "How the heck is Pinkie so fast? I thought Rainbow's thing was speed."

"No, Pinkie is currently Fili-Second." Spike replied. "She basically the fastest pony in all of Maretropolis. She could be miles from here by now."

"Then we need to stop her without Pinkie's help." Spyro said, looking to Applejack. "AJ, the lasso!"

Applejack nodded as she hopped up and got her lasso, spinning it around for a second before throwing it, which it started to glow, but the Mane-iac just dodged and the lasso hit a street light, which it wrapped around and as AJ, tried to pull it back to her, she got pulled in and tied up herself, making the Mane-iac laugh.

"Ok, that's embarrassing." Octavia said.

"Twilight, quick, freeze her mane!" Spike asked.

"Uh, do what to her mane?" Twilight asked.

"You're the Masked Matter-Horn!" Spike replied. "Your horn can shoot all kinds of crazy energy beams! One of them is an ice beam!"

Twilight was unsure of what he was on about, but she decided to give it a try, charging the beam of magic and pointing it at the Mane-iac, but the magic proved useless as when she fired the beam, it only produced a few snowflakes, making her look down in defeat.

"You know, I'm beginning to enjoy this." Mane-iac said, looking up. "Aren't you Techy boo-boo bear!?"

She then started laughing maniacally again, making Spyro very uncomfortable as he looked to Spike.

"Spike, why did she refer to me that way?" Spyro asked.

"Oh yeah, before the Mane-iac became that, she and Tech were dating." Spike replied. "But he broke it up when he admitted his heart belonged to somepony else, hence being one of the reasons that caused her to become what she is now."

Spyro then looked down at the Mane-iac, seeing her laughing uncontrollably as he backed away.

"Yeah, no thanks." Spyro said. "The only crazy I like comes from Pinkie Pie."

She then threw something else at them, hitting the building and making them flinch as Spike looked up to Rainbow Dash.

"Dash, quick, you're Zapp!" Spike exclaimed. "You powers can control the mighty forces of nature! Use your pendant and call a lightning bolt!"

Rainbow Dash looked at her pendant, flying up into the air as she held her pendant in her mouth and a moment later, storm clouds gathered as everyone looked at her, but instead of a lightning bolt, a tornado came down, freaking everyone out.

"Rainbow, Spike said lightning!" Spyro exclaimed as everyone reached for something to hold into. "Not a freaking tornado!"

Rainbow Dash was trying to get ahold of the tornado, bt it was out of control, sucking her up as it reached the roof and started to suck up the others, Spyro barely holding on as he pushed back as hard as he could, his bag coming off and instinctively, he grabbed the bag with his teeth, even though it made him closer to the tornado.

"Anchor: Online!" A male mechanical voice said.

"Wait, what?" Spyro asked, still holding onto the bag.

A second later, his boots came to life and the sides, front, and back had metalic arms come out and bust into the roof, holding him inplace as the tornado raged on.

"Anchor activation successful." The voice said. "Awaiting the dissipation of the tornado."

"Well, at least I have an AI unit to help me out." Spyro said. "At least I'm safe for the moment." However, a second later, he heard some screaming and looked back to see Pinkie running towards him, getting sucked into the tornado and flying to him. "Oh son of a bi-!"

Pinkie then slammed into him, which caused the anchors on his boots to malfunction and release, getting sucked into the tornado with the others as Pinkie's streak of light mixed with the tornado, Mane-iac just laying back and enjoying the show while the others just kept on swirling around, Spike looking to Fluttershy, hoping she could help.

"Fluttershy, you're Saddle Rager!" Spike said. "Get angry and you'll turn into a spuer strong monster!"

"Wait, are you telling me if Fluttershy get's mad, she'll turn into the Hulk!?" Spyro asked.

"Yeah, it's our only hope!" Spike said.

"Oh, that doesn't sound very nice." Fluttershy said, curling into a ball.

"Spike, this is Fluttershy we're talking about here!" Spyro shouted. "She never get's angry! What good is that going to do us with a pony who doesn't get angry!?"

"Yeah, I'm with Spyro on this one!" Octavia said, trying not to get sick. "Spyro should have gotten that power! He's plenty angry already!"

"Ugh, I forgot about that!" Spike said, looking to Rarity. "Rarity, your jewelry! Use it ot create an attack construct!"

"What's an attack construct!?" Rarity asked.

"Just think of anything and the bracelets make it appear!" Spike replied.

"Now that's actually useful!" Spyro shouted. "Rarity, make something to get us out of this mess!" Rarity looked at her bracelets and then pointed it at the space in front of her, which she ended up making a tea pot and cups, which flew to Spyro and Spike and hitting them both, only making Spyro angrier. "Are you freaking kidding me right now!?"

A second later, the tornado hit the ground, moving around the Mane-iac as it then spat both Spyro and Spike out, Spyro hitting the wall first and getting knocked out while Spike landed on Spyro, seemingly unharmed as he looked to the Mane-iac and then saw the Electro Orb, wanting to reach for it, but the Mane-iac stood over them both, smiling wickedly before knocking Spike out of the way and picking Spyro up while both Applejack and Spike watched in horror.

"Well, this has been a 'mane' raising experience!" Mane-iac said, bending backwards. "But I must be off. Techy poo and I have a date!" Spike took the chance and grabbed the Electro-Orb and tried to sneak away, but he tripped on his cape and dropped the orb, which the Mane-iac took the orb back and looked at Spike with a smile. "Why thank you Hum drum."

Mane-iac then started to swing away woht both the orb and Spyro, laughing as she went while Spike looked at his cape, realizing who he was as he felt ill all of a sudden.

"I'm... I'm Hum Drum?" Spike asked. However, the tornado came back and sucked him up, the tornado getting worse and worse as it started to destroy buildings as it went while Applejack remained hanging upside down. "Applejack, you need to stop the tornado!"

"Ah'm tryin'!" Applejack said. "But everytime Ah move, this darn lasso gets tighter!"

"You're psychically connected to it!" Spike shouted. "Meaning you can use your mind and will to tell it where to go! Use it to take care of this tornado!"

Applejack looked at the lasso and closed her eyes, willing it to let her go and it did, untying itself from her and the lamp as she got up, smiling as she willed it to shut the tornado and cause it to grow bigger until it exploded, dropping everyone while Rarity levtated down using one of her constructs while Pinkie seemed ready to run again.

"Wee, that was fun!" Pinkie said.

"Ok, so we're stuck in a comic book world and the only way out is to stop that maniac?" Applejack asked.

"It's pronounced, Mane-iac." Spike replied. "And yes, the only way out is to keep her from using her doomsday weapon."

"No biggie!" Rainbow Dash said. "I was already awesome and now I'm even awesomer! And with my keyblade, I'm..." She tried to summon her keyblad,e but it didn't appear, making her look at her hoof as she tried again, but it didn't obey. "Ok, what's going on? Why can't I call my Keyblade?"

"Maybe because in thsi comic, they don't exist." Twilight said. "Meaning we're going to have to use these powers to beat her."

"Eh, as I said, no biggie." Rainbow Dash said. "Besides, we all have powers!"

"Well, almost everyone." Spike replied.

"Oh, but you must have powers Spiky boo." Rarity said, using a construct to lift his cape. "You're wearing a cape."

"I wish." Spike replied. "I'm Hum Drum and he's pretty much useless."

However, a moment later. Twilight walked up and put her hoof on Spike,s shoulder, smiling at him to comfort him.

"Well, it's a good thing you aren't really Hum Drum then." Twilight said.

"Yeah, good thing." Spike said, wrapping his cape around himself out of nervousness.

"Ok, so the six of us Power Ponies go in and defeat Mane-iac, get the orb and all before she finishes her weapon." Rainbow Dash said. "Simple."

"Not so simple." Spike replied. "She now has Spyro, who is Tech in this world, the smartest pony in all of Maretropolis. He could calculate the circumference of the universe if he wanted to. With him, Mane-iac can finish her weapon by tonight."

"Well it's a good thing Spyro's playin' this Tech feller." Applejack said. "Even though Tech wouldn't help her originally, Spyro will definitely not help her."

"Not willingly." Spike replied, making them all look at him. "Mane-iac has this special perfume that when used on a stallion, it brainwashes them into becoming her loyal servant."

"WHAT!?" They all shouted.

"Wait, so she has this perfume and when she uses it on a pony, they become her minions!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Not just any pony." Spike replied. "The perfume only works on stallions, and the Power Ponies are all mares, so it won't have any affect on you."

"Then we need to get there before she has a chance to use that perfume on Spyro." Twilight said. "Spike, where would she most likely go to?"

"Her top secret headquarters!" Spike replied. "She uses her old shampoo factory as her headquarters! But you eed to be quick because that glowing orb is what she plans on using to power it up. And with Spyro there, if he's sprayed with that perfume, he'll finish it in no time!"

"Lead the way then Spike!" Applejack said.

"And leave the rest to us!" Rainbow Dash added.

Spike looked depressed, walking ahead of his friends, leading the way to the Mane-iac's lair to stop her and to save their friend before anything happened to him. In the Mane-iac's lair, Spyro was just coming to in a chair, tied up and held down as he woke up and looked around, finding he was in a shampoo factory surrounded by a bunch of ponies he didn't know, so he tried to free himself from the chair, but due to his current form, the ropes that were used to tie him up didn't budge, making him powerless as the Mane-iac laughed, approaching him as her hair carried her.

"Aw, did you have a nice nap techy-poo?" Mane-iac asked.

"I would say I woke up to a beautiful scene, but then again there isn't anything that nice in sight." Spyro replied, making the Mane-iac laugh.

"Oh Tech, you're sense of humor's gotten better since we last saw one another." Mane-iac said. "Now, I was hoping you'd help me out with a teeny, tiny project I'm working on here."

"Yeah, I an answer for you." Spyro replied. "Starts with an N, and ends with an O. No."

"Aw, but you don't even know what it is yet." Mane-iac said.

"I got an idea about what you have planned thanks to Hum Drum." Spyro replied. "A doomsday device involving the Electro-orb. Yeah, think I'll pass on helping you build it."

"Oh, you don't understand Techy boo-boo bear." Mane-iac said. "I'm not asking."

She then took out a red bottle with then image of a pony on it with glowing eyes, bringing it over to him as he smiled.

"Aw, you trying to make yourself smell better?" Spyro asked. "Trust me lady, no amount of perfume will mask how awful you smell. Seriously, when's the last time you showered?"

"Aw, you hurt my feelings Tech." Mane-iac said, laughing maniacally. "This is a simple little perfume that'll make you more... complaint with my requests."

She then sprayed him with the perfume, which he held his breath as he had a pretty good idea what it was as the pink mist went over to him, covering his head, but unfortunately, the mist was lingering longer than he thoiught and brwathed out, coughing as soon as he breathed in the cloud, causing it to disappear. Spyro was slumped over, not moving for a second before he lifted his head, opening his eyes to reveal they were now glowing pink, causing the Mane-iac to laugh manaically again as her henchmen moved to free him from the chair. Outside, Spike, Octavia, and the Mane Six had just reached the facotry, seeing a large building with a flashing sign of a pony applying shampoo to their mane with the word shampoo next to her.

"There it is." Spike said.

"Wow, that is one big Shampoo factory." Applejack said.

"Alright everypony, here's the plan." Twilight said. "Rarity, you andI will-"

"Come on out Mane-iac!" Rainbow Dash shouted, everyone looking at her. "Or the Power Ponies are coming in!"

She then raised her pendant and immediately, a storm came from the sky and lightning came from the sky, making everyone face smack themselves.

"So much for the element of surprise." Twilight said. "Come on girls, let's go."

They then walked to the factory, which Spike sat down and pressed himself against the wall as he watched, feeling useless and helpless as he watched his friends. While Rainbow Dash was using her pendant, everyone was approaching the facotry, looking up at it, but surprised that no body was coming out.

"Maybe no pony's home." Fluttershy said. "Maybe we should come back later."

"Wait, somepony's up there." Applejack said.

They all looked to the roof of the building while Rainbow Dash was firing lightning at the sign, but a second later, a couple of yellow orbs came flying down and one of them hit Rainbow Dash, making her fall to the ground as a sticky yellow substance was pinning her to the ground while the other orb hit the pendant, completely covering it. They all looked from Rainbow Dash to the pony on the roof, which he or she jumped down and dove straight for the ground, but then flipped over as flames came out of their hooves, flowing their descent until he or she landed on the ground, revealing it was Spyro, but he had his eyes closed as his friends saw him, all glad to see him.

"Spyro!" Twilight said, running up, but then noticed that something was off, stopping a few feet away from her friends "Spyro?"

A moment later, he opened his eyes, revealing they were glowing hot pink, everyone realizing they were too late as he then threw more of those yellow orbs, making everyone scatter to avoid them as they hit the ground and shattered.

"What the hey Spyro!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

"Oh no, we're too late!" Spike exclaimed. "The Mane-iac's got him under her control!"

They then heard Maniacal laughter, everyone looking up again to see the Mane-iac there while Spyro charged in.

"What do you think of my new hench pony Power Ponies!?" Mane-iac asked as Spyro leapt over Twilight as she tried to fire an ice beam at him, but he threw a ring at her and it attached to her horn, making her powerless as he hit her with some of the yellow orbs. "You should have been more careful with your friends. Tech is the smartest pony in Maretropolis, meaning he knows all of your strength and all of your weaknesses!"

Rainbow Dash tried to free herself, but the yellow substance was too strong for her, making her grunt as she tried to free herself.

"Spike, what the heck is this stuff!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh no, that's Power Glue!" Spike said. "Tech made that stuff to counter Fili-Second's speed and to subdue the Power Ponies incase one of them went evil or was mind controlled!" He then looked to Twilight as she tried to free herself while trying to use her magic, but the ring ended up absorbing the magic and making her powerless. "And that's a Disruptor ring. It only works on the Masked Matter-Horn, absorbing her powers and making her powerless!"

Spyro looked to the other ponies, getting ready to attack when Pinkie tapped him on the shoulder, making him look as she zipped away, then tapping him a whole bunch of times on the back and making him turn, but he then guess where she'd be and threw more of the yellow orbs, hitting the ground and causing Pinkie to run into the glue and fall, getting stuck to the ground. Rarity then used her constructs to float up, one of the constructs being a magic carpet as she made a glass dome and trapped Spyro, who looked around tryign to get out as Rarity floated down.

"Now that darlings, is how you..." Rarity said, which Spyro produced a blue diamond that caught her attention. "Oh, is that a diamond?"

"Rarity no!" Spike shouted. She made a hole in the construct for her to reach in and take it, but Spyro thrusted his foreleg through it and the diamond opend up, revealing it was a fake and it released a blue gas, making Rarity cough violently before falling to the ground unconcious as the construct disappeared. "Ugh, Rariy and Radiance are so much alike. They both like gems and that gem was something Tech made, putting knock out gas in it to subdue her incase she went evil."

"We're runnin' out of ponies!" Applejack said, getting a couple of golden horseshoes. She then kicked the horseshoes at Spyro, which he looked and jumped up, dodging the attack as she charged straight for him, using her connection with the lasso to make it spin, but as she got close, Spyro's eyes started to flicker, which got the farm mares attention as she suddenly stopped, looking to the eyes and seeing they continued to flicker as if he was fighting back. "Spyro?"

However, the eyes stopped flickering as they continued to glow pink, reaching in and throwing a collar at Applejack, which it connected to her neck and her lasso fell tot he ground, which she gasped before Spyro leapt over and threw more yellow orbs at her, making her stick to the ground while Spike shook nervously.

"Oh no, a psychic dampener!" Spike said. "It cancels Mistress Mare-velous's connecting with her lasso, making her powerless!" He then looked to Fluttershy and Octavia, the yellow pegasi shacking in fear while Octavia rushed forward to attack, ready to attack, but Spyro pulled out a white gemstone and it shined out a radiant light, causing Octavia to yell in pain as she stopped, falling to the gorund as he placed it against her neck and a collar wrapped around her neck, tossing a yellow orb and subduing her. "A holy light crystal!? it's the only thing that weakens and subdues Demonica! Fluttershy, you need to get angry!"

"But... I don't feel angry." Fluttershy said.

"Then get anrgy!" Spike shouted. Before Fluttershy could even try, Spyro threw three green orbs instead of the yellow ones, hitting the ground and engulfing Fluttershy, which she coughed a bit as green gas was emitted, causing her to fall asleep while Spike backed away. "Sleep gas."

Spike looked to Spyro as he slowly approached Spike, pulling out more yellow orbs to toss at him, Spike bracing to get hit by the orbs.

"Forget him." Mane-iac said, Spyro looking at her. "Rather pointless to use your power glue on somepony who has no powers, wouldn't you agree?"

A moment later, her henchmen came out of the factory and started to scrap the ponies off the ground, keeping them in the glue and carrying them all into the factory, leaving Spike alone outside as he felt powerless to help, watching his friends get taken away, but he didn't stay there and ran to the building to find another way inside to help his friends. He eventually found a way in through the airvents, ripping off a vent cover and crawling in to get into the building to help his friends however he could, though he was starting to doubt himself.

"What am I supposed to do now?" Spike asked. "I'm completely useless. No wonder my friends never need me around when something important needs to be done. They're the ones with all of the powers. They probably escaped by now." However, a moment later, the grate underneath him gave way and he fell down, flopping onto the ground of a catwalk, rubbing his head as he got up and to his horror, he saw his friends, all caged up in a cage above the room, all of them stuck in the glue that was used to subdue a large majority of them before while Spyro was seen near a large red sheet covering the doomsday machine, making some modifications while the others watched helplessly. "Or not."

"Congratulations Power ponies!" Mane-iac said as Spyro finished up adjusting the machine, walking to join the rest of the henchmen as she came in, riding on her hair while holding the Electro orb. "You will live long enough to witness my triumph when I fire..." One of her henchponies, who was wearing a red and white striped shirt with a well done mane pull the curtain to reveal her machine looked like a giant hair dryer, confusing the ponies as they looked at it. "The instrument of your destruction!" She then placed the Electro-orb into the machine, which it started to power up as she laughed maniacally. "Once the Electro Orb has finished, this cannon will amplify the power of my mane, one million times over thanks to Tech's improvements to my little device. It will expell an energy blast that will the manes of all the ponies in Maretropolis to grow wild and out of control!"

She then started to laugh while everyone was struggling to get out of the glue to try and stop her.

"You won't win Mane-iac!" Twilight shouted. "No matter what, we will stop you!"

"Oh, now that's adorable." Mane-iac said. "And because of that, you will be my weapons first victims!" Spike looked horrified, unable to do anything as he looked down to Spyro, who was standing with the enemy, but he then noticed that his eyes were flickering a bit as if he was fighting it, confusing Spike as his eyes returned to glowing pink. "And there is no pony who can save you from this fate!"

She then started manaically her laughter getting louder and louder while Spike fell to his knees, covering himself with his cape to hide as he knew she was right and no one would be able to save them, closing his eyes to await the end of his friends.

"Um, excuse me." Fluttershy said, interrupting her laughter. "I don't mean to interrupt, but aren't you forgetting about somepony?"

"What, you mean little, powerless Hum Drum?" Mane-iac asked as she walked on her weapons barrel. "Please. Everypony in all of Maretropolis knows you keep the little guy around because you feel sorry for him."

Spike felt like she had hit and shattered his heart, making him look down as he knew the Mane-iac was right.

"Maybe in this world." Twilight said, getting Spike's attention. "But in our world Spike, er, I mean Hum Drum, always comes through when we need him most! Always!"

Everyone all agreed with Twilight, which warmed his heart as he cried, wiping a tear away, but not realizing that the tear had hit Spyro, which he looked up to the catwalk he was standing on.

"She's right, I'm not like Hum Drum." Spike said, standing up. "When my friends really need me, I always come through. And they need me now. But how am I going to help them?"

A second later,. Spyro burst through the catwalk, making him yell in fright as Spyro landed, one of the boots having a drill attatched while on his back were a pair of mechanical wings, the drill whirling as he approached and the Mane-iac looked to see the scared baby dragon.

"Hum Drum?" Mane-iac asked.

"Spike, run!" Twilight shouted.

Spike didn't need to be told twice as he got up and ran away from Spyro, who took off in the air and flew around the catwalk, diving into the pathway to hit Spike, but the baby dragon always dodged the attack, running to a larger area so he could find a place to flee, but Spyro just landed right in front of him, making the baby dragon back away as the catwalk started to give out underneath him, pieces falling off as he approached.

"Good work Tech!" Mane-iac said. "Now finish him off!"

Spyro slowly approached the baby dragon, the drill whirling as Spike backed away, the catwalk creeking underneath them both as Spyro got closer and closer, Spike looking at Spyro in fear as he fell down, scooting away to get some distance between them.

"Spyro, please, you can fight her control." Spike said as Spyro got closer. "Remember who you are, who your friends are." Spyro wasn;t listening, only getting closer and closer to Spike as he looked to their friends, seeing how worried they were when his eyes rested on Applejack, an idea striking him as he looked back to Spyro. "Spyro, please, think about your friends, about Applejack and about your unborn baby."

"Wait, baby?" Mane-iac asked, now confused.

"Remember what you always told us, about your heart and how it never leads you astray?" Spike asked. "Follow your own advice and listen to your heart, fight Mane-iacs control!" A second later, Spyro's head shakily looked to the cage, slowly looking to them as his eyes rested on Applejack, which the Mane-iac followed his gaze to the mare he was looking at, who was currently know as Mistress Mare-velous to Mane-iac as she started to his in rage. "I know how much you wish you had your powers back, but you're just as strong without them. You're one of the smartest, strongest, and bravest ponies I know. You fight monsters everyday, you hang out with your friends, and even started a family with one of the mares you love. And nothing, not even the Mane-iac, can take that away from you."

Spyro was shaking, the memories flooding into his mind as his feelings started to overcome the Mane-iacs control, having flashes of his friends, the adventures they went on, the laughes they had, and remembering the news about him becoming a father, everythin rushing by him as he remembered everything until an image of his friends appeared around him, all smiling at him as he felt something deep inside break free, his eyes returning to normal. However, as they did, the catwalk gave way and Spike started to fall towards a vat of bubbling Shampoo, screaming in fear as he braced for his end, but a second later, Spyro flew down and caught the baby dragon, everyone cheering for him as he flew up into the air, holding the little guy as he smiled.

"Thanks Spike." Spyro said, hugging him. "Thanks for helping me to remember who I am."

"No, no this can't be!" Mane-iac shouted, pointing the weapon at the cage. "You... you fake blonde tramp! You are carrying Tech's baby!? Oh, i'm turning this machine up to the maximum setting and I will not only eliminate you, but that little mistake you call a baby!"

The weapon charged up, getting ready to fire, but Spyro took out a yellow glass orb and threw it into the nozzle of the machine, the Super Glue pouring out of the barrel and clogging it up, much to the Mane-iac's horror as Spyro levitated in the air.

"Anypony who messing with my pregnant marefriend is going to regret ever being born!" Spyro shouted.

A moment later, some of the ponies came running up, some with what seemed to be comic book and ponyfied versions of blasters, firing them at him as he flew away to avoid being hit, holding onto Spike in a bear hug to keep him from falling.

"Spyro, the red orbs!" Spike said, Spyro looking in the pouch and finding them. "They dissolve the Super Glue that Tech invented! Throw them into the cage and free everypony!"

Spyro nodded his head, using his magic to levitate the orbs out of his bag and threw them into the cage, all of them exploding on impact and immediately, the glue started to dissolve, freeing everyone as they removed any and all devices Spyro had thrown onto them that restricted their powers, Rarity creating a file construct to cut the bars and free everyone to join in the fight while Mane-iac worked on removing the glue from the barrel of her machine. Spyro however got hit in the mechanical wing, causing them both to fly out of control and hit the ground hard, rubbing their heads as some of the minions fired on them, forcing them both to hide behind one of the vats as Spyro rummaged through the pack to find something to fight back with.

"Ugh, only one of those glue balls left." Spyro said. "And I don't have that green orb either or anything I can use." He then noticed what appeared to be a oversized belt buckle with small lights and strange icons on them and colored magenta, lifting it and looking at it in curiosity. "What the heck is this?"

"Beats me." Spike replied, avoiding a bolt. "I never seen anything like that. Then again, it might be Tech's super secret project."

"His what?" Spyro asked.

"Tech got tired of only being able to build inventions for the Power Ponies and wanted in on the action." Spike replied. "So he started on a super secret project, saying he was done being on the side lines and wanted to help fight, despite not having any powers."

Spyro looked at Spike in curiosity, looking down at the strange device and finding it was very familiar to him, rummaging through the bag again and finding a book with similar icons on it, opening it up to find it only had two slots in them, one on the left that said attack cards and the right saying Rider cards, pulling the first one out and his eyes widened, now recognizing it as he smiled.

"Oh, I don't know how Tech got his hooves on this baby, but I'm liking him more and more!" Spyro exclaimed.

He then jumped out from behind the vat, much to everyne horror as he then closed the book and flipped it around a couple of times, turning it into a blaster and firing, the shots hitting the henchponies blasters and knocking them down. He then got up and spun the blaster a few times, blwoing in the barrel as he grinned.

"How dare you fight against me!" Mane-iac shouted, looking annoyed. "Like Hum Drum, you don't have any powers! How do you have the will to fight!?"

"You don't need powers to fight." Spyro replied, looking to her. "You just need to have the heart and the will to do what's right, despite not having any powers."

"It doesn't matter." Mane-iac said, getting the glue off the barrel. "My weapon is almost fully charged. And there's nothing you can do about it."

"Oh, there's something I can most certainly do." Spyro replied, surprising her as everyone else fought. "I may have built that overgrown hair dryer, i can most certainly take it apart."

"You think you can destroy my doomsday weapon!?" Mane-iac asked, laughing as more of her minions appeared. "Oh Techy-boo, you're so much funnier than you were in the past. Who do you believe you are anyway?"

"Just a wondering Kamen Rider." Spyro replied, puting the belt on as he stood on his hind legs, placing the belt on his waist as it wrapped around him, shockin eveyrone as he took out a card with the image of a pony wearing a full magenta colored face mask with black stripes going up and down the mask, corners of what looked like cards sticking out from above the mask with green lenses on for the eyes, Spyro smiling as he held it. "Remember that. Henshin!"

He then turned the card and put it in the buckle, which it came to life as an icon appeared from it.

"Kamen Rider!" The buckle said, Spyro pushing on both sides to activate it. "Decade!"

A moment later, multiple versins of him appeared, each with a different piece of armor appearing and all coming together as they moved onto Spyro, connecting as several holographic cards shot out and hit the helment, melding with it as his armor turned Magenta and while, the eyes glowing green as the transformation was complete, everyone looking at him in complete shock as he stood there, wearing new armor, but none more shocked and confused than the Mane-iac, who was lost for words as she looked at him.

"W-w-what!?" She shouted. "When the heck did you actually make that stupid thing!?"

"What is that?" Twilight asked, freezing one of the bad guys.

"It's a rider system." Spyro replied. "My guess is that Tech must have seen the show and gotten inspiration from it to make his own Decade rider system, which I'm not complaining, I'm a huge Kamen Rider fan."

"Henchmen, get him!" Mane-iac shouted.

The fight resumed as everyone used their individual powers to fight the henchponies while Spyro just grinned, the group of ponies running at him to attack, but Spyro got a card out that had an image of him, but it was faded, pulling the sides and making the buckle point upward as he inserted the card.

"Attack ride!" The buckle said as he pushed the sides, activating the cards ability. "Invisible!"

A second later, he disappeared from sight, confusing them as they looked around to find him, only to get attacked by the invisible warrior and knocking them out as he reappeared, Mane-iac pointing the weapin at him, but he pulled out another card, revealing it had duplicates of him as he pulled on the sides of the buckle again to insert the card.

"Attack ride!" The buckle said again as he pushed the sides. "Illusion!"

A moment later, multiples of Spyro appeared, confusing the Mane-iac again as he spread out to help his friends fight as they all grouped the henchponies together, Mane-iac trying to get a clean shot, but with everyone fighting and moving around, it made it difficult to get a shot. Spike watched as everyone was fighting, Rainbow Dash blasting whoever was close with lightning, Twilight using her powers to freeze and blast whoever she could while Rarity was skating, using her constructs to imprison some of them while Applejack used her lasso to tie up those trying to flee while Pinkie zipped around, knocking them into the construct that Rarity was using to imprison them. Octavia however was using the shadows to her advatnage, finding that she becomes invisible in the darkness while also usng the tendril of drkness to grab them and throw them into the construct to imprison them while Spyro and his doubles were working together to fight and subdue the henchmen while using his sword or his blaster to take them down, noticing they were one short.

"Hey, we're one pony short!" Spike said.

"Not for long!" Spyro said.

He pulled out a card with someone that looked like a bat, his eyes yellow on it, looking to be red, black, and silver in color as he put it in the buckle as the symbol of a bat appeared.

"Kamen rider!" The buckle said as he pushed the sides. "Kiva!"

A moment later, a wave of sound and air appeared as the pony armored like a bat with a silver chest plate, black and red body armor and helment on, his eyes glowing yellow as chains appeared around the chest and on one of his hind legs, charging forward to fight. However, Spike was looking around for whoever wasn;t in the fight, finding Fluttershy leaving the factory.

"Fluttershy, where are you going?" Spike asked.

"Well, you guys seem to have everything under control." Fluttershy said, turning to them. "I was just going to step outside and wait until the fight is over."

"But Fluttershy, we need you!" Spike shouted, Mane-iac looking in their direction and smiling as she aimed it at her. "You need to power up!"

"I'm sorry Spike." Fluttershy said. "But nothing is making me mad." However, that soon changed when a firefly got in the lense, Mane-iac looking at it as she used her tentacled hair to smack it into a wall near Fluttershy, shocking her as she looked to the Mane-iac in anger as Spyro looked over and see what happened, watching the pegasi rush over to the injured Firefly. "Oh goodness! Are you alright!?"

"Oh no." Spyro said, knowing what was coming as Fluttershy looked at the Mane-iac with pure rage.

"Are you kidding me!?" Fluttershy asked, though she wasn't shouting, she looked like she wanted to as she approached her. "I mean, I know you're evil and all, but you hurt a teensy, little, harmless firefly!?" Her voice was getting louder as her eyes started to turn red as everyone looked at her. "Really!? Why, you're just a great, big meanie!" Her voice was beginning to change into something close to the hulk. "There, I said it! What makes you think you're so special!?" A second later, she started to grow bigger as veins started to bulge out from her neck and from her head, growing so big that it started to rip her suit up and, even though no one could see it, inside Spyro's helmet, his pupils were the size of pin needles as his jaw was open. "Like the rules of common courtesy don't apply to you! Why don;t you pick on somepony you're own size!?"

She stopped growing, but when she did, she looked like a hulked out version of herself, her suit barely keeping together as everyone's jaws had dropped and their eyes were shrunk as she roared out in rage, seeing her in her current form while Spyro turned his head and looked at the reader, the world not pausing as he looked spooked.

"I think I went and shat myself." Spyro said.

Mane-iac started to panic, firing the weapon at Fluttersgy, but the blast just bounced off, hitting her instead, throwng her off the weapon as Fluttershy jumped up on the weapon, roaring in anger as she started to smash the machine, everyone watching her break and rip it apart, tearing a piece off before looking at her friends, spitting it out as she clapped her hooves sheepishly after realizing her friends were watching her.

"Holy hell Fluttershy!" Octavia said. "And I thought Spyro has anger issues."

"You kidding?" Spyro asked, everyone looking at him. "I might have had a short fuse a little while ago, but compared to that, it's enough to make even Santa go from ho-ho-ho to ho-ho-holy @#*!"

"My mane!" Mane-iac shouted, her mane going crazy as it wrapped around her. "My mane!"

She then started laughing maniacally as she hopped around, trying to free herself while everyone watched.

"Nice work everypony!" Twilight said.

"So, can we go home now?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Not yet." Spyro replied, looking to the smashed weapon. "She can still repair this thing to use it."

"Then how to we make sure she doesn't use it?" Applejack asked.

"Easy." Spyro replied, pulling out a card that had Kiva on it and a bow. "We destroy it."

He flipped the card again and put it in the belt to activate it.

"Final Form Ride!" The belt said as Spyro pushed the sides. "K-K-K-Kiva!"

"This might tickle a bit." Spyro said.

Kiva looked at him, but Spyro put his hooves into his back, making him turn into a massive bow with a large bat on the side, surprisng them as he pulled out another card, this time with only the bat icon on it.

"Final attack ride!" The belt said as he push the sides in. "K-K-K-Kiva!"

He then pulled the bow back, leaping into the air as the tip exploded into a large bat leg like thing that Kiva usualy has when performing his finishing attack and released the arrow, which it flew through the air and hit the base of the machine, causing it to explode and surprise everyone. Spyro landed on the ground as the bow disappeared and turned to his friends, who were all looking at him in shock and awe at what he did.

"Ok, can we please trade powers?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Because that was freaking awesome!"

However, before anyone could say anything, they were sucked into a b all of light, everyone screaming as they flew in before being spat out by the book, everyone landing in a dog pile as the book closed and fell onto a book stand, everyone cheering after the kind of adventure they were on.

"That was totally wicked!" Spyro shouted. "Let's do that again!"

"Did you see how awesome I was in there!?" Rainbow Dash asked. "How I was raining down a storm of justice in the end there!?"

"Did ya'll see how Ah handled that lasso!?" Applejack asked excitedly.

"Cupcakes?" Pinkie asked, pulling out a tray of cupcakes.

"Wait, where did those come from?" Spyro asked.

"Eh, we had a good half second before we were sucked out of the comic!" Pinkie replied. "And the Maretropolis bakery was only sixty-five blocks away!"

"I'm just glad to be back home." Spike said, flopping down on a pillow as twilight approached him.

"Spike, we all owe you our gratitude." Twilight said. "We couldn't have made it without you. And I do hope that you realize that just because we don't always need your help, it doesn't mean that you arent helpful."

"Or that not having super powers doesn't mean you aren;t an amazing friend." Spyro added. "Even if you get us sucked into a magical comic book world and we almost get a bad hair day."

Everyone laughed, including Spike as they all had a moment to relax, twilight stopping her laughter to look at Spike.

"Wait, Spike, where in Equestria did you get that comic book anyway?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, I got it from Canterlot at the house of Enchanted Comics." Spike said.

"Wait, seriously!?" Spyro shouted, everyone giving him the stink eye.

"I didn;t think they were litterally enchanted." Spike said. "I just thought it meant that had a really enchanting and engaging storyline."

"Spike, when a shop said enchanted and it has enchanted books, it literally means the books are enchanted." Spyro said, rubbing his eyes as he was about to have a meltdown.

"Don't worry about it Spyro." Twilight said, kissing his cheek. "What matters is we got out safely."

"Yeah, yeah, can we go and eat now?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm starving!"

Everyone was in agreement and staretd to make their way out of the room, Spyro being the last to follow, but he suddenly stopped and looked back at the comic, using his magic to levitate it over and open it to see that the empty space was now filled with more pages, flipping through them to see that most of what they had said was written down, though the foul language was replaced, he looked at the Power ponies and thought about their powers and abilities, looking to some of their gear as he suddenly had an idea come to him, closing the comic as he took it with him out of the room to start on some new projects of his own.
