Akiyama Rinko - 1

Akiyama Rinko sat on the bed, wearing only a bathrobe after she'd just gotten out of the shower.

Steams were coming from her healthy skin and the long blue hair, which let down to the knees, readied to be dried. When she lied down to rest for a bit, her bathrobe briefly hugged the notable body lines.

For the moment, she was living alone in the Akiyama Estate. Rinko would find herself easily loosen up and relax in the calming silence of late evening.

Resting a hand on her forehead, Rinko reflected on today events.

Classes. The briefing. The information about a certain group of terrorists and...the abs...glowing abs. Ack!

Her other hand shot up to her face to cover the blush Rinko brought upon herself while thinking about it.

"Kkkkuuuggghhhh!" She let out the awkward shyness that began to swell up by the memories.

Rinko had great self-control, yet too much built up would make it harder for her to maintain the usual composure of the perfect senior everyone looked up to.

Those well shredded abs, the naked olive chest and broad shoulders...and...and their Afterschool Date!

"KKkkuuuuggghhhhhhhhHHHHHh!"

Such simple keywords triggered a mixture of fondness and embarrassment.

She rolled on her stomach. Her blush pressed into the pillow, it didn't subside, not one bit. The comfy bed couldn't help getting rid of her thoughts about the lingered warmth which somehow didn't go away even though she'd took a shower.

Rinko decided to turn on the air-condition, blasting it at sixteen Celsius.

No use, she was feeling hotter and it wasn't due to the room temperature. As if it could cool down the heat that had nothing to do with the hot water in her bathtub.

Turning, Rinko lied on her back. The knot tied around her waist loosened, nearly fell out. Her mind was too busy to notice the bathrobe not covering the smooth skin.

The warmness she felt inside the bosom made no sense.

It couldn't be a fever, Taimanins rarely get sick due to their immune system being enhanced by the Demon Blood coursing through their veins.

She threw the blanket over her head, snatched the hug pillow and squeezed it tightly to her body. Oh! She felt clearly the echoes of her heartbeats, with loud yet steady bumpings.

At this rate, something would really happen in her sleep.

"I'm going to dream about it for real!" Rinko muttered.

No! Too early for that! She kicked away the blanket, fixed the bathrobe, grabbed the bamboo sword and practiced her swings right then and there in the room. One hundred times should be enough for her mind to drive out those thoughts.

Twenty swings.

Don't think about the glowing abs.

Forty swings.

Don't think about that sweet tenderness during the hands holding.

Sixty swings.

Don't think about his charming eye.

Eighty swings.

The nightly warm up should remind herself of the Savage Hunter persona, nothing could go wrong.

She wouldn't have to think about wanting to embrace that feeling in her chest. There should be the time and place for that. It didn't happen at the secret hot spring. It didn't happen after the Christmas party. It didn't happen anywhere and it mostly didn't need to happen NOW!

"One hundred!"

Rinko completed the last swing. Good work, her body was all warmed up and the heart beat at a quick pace. Now her mind can focus on other things before bed.

Closing her eyes, she meditated for a while. The warmness in her chest finally subsided.

When the eyelids moved to welcome back the sight of her room, the first thing she saw was the Ninjato keychain.

Doki!

"Urgh!"

Rinko utterly failed. That item reminded her of everything.

"This is somehow Fuuma's fault!"

She tried to get it out, knowing too well it wouldn't justify anything.

So...

Just like the other nights when that tingling sensation struck, she gave up.

She picked up the phone charm Kotaro'd bought for her and returned to the comfort of her bed. She held onto that precious gift while a sheepish smile formed on the lip.

Rinko whispered a gasp to herself, then she closed her eyes to embrace that warmness.

Not far from the Akiyama Estate, the resentful mask appeared within the tree lines.

For a short while, it was removed.

As Rinko the Vengeful Blade observed her home from a distance, the moonlight shone on a look full of wistfulness.
