There was a simple question that you wanted to say about what was going with the chaos being plunged into your mind; along with the sweat pouring down immensely from your fore head to cool you down from some kind of fever that you've gotten according to Charlie. Placing her right hand with a cloth on your head, Lola begins to ask about what had happened to you as how you've gotten ill.
"You're feeling a lot better, Bossie. The fever has been gone since you were sleeping peacefully without being disturbed by anyone. Mum and Dad took you to the hospital, because you were unconscious from your illness, and me and Charlie had to be in charge of your recovery so when you wake up, you'll be in good shape. Why are you so surprised, Bossie?"
"I... Don't... Know, Lola. What... Happened to me, Charlie?"
Staring at the two seems to have brought a mix of confusion on your face by remembering that you've seen them die right down the hall from the prison room that you were incarcerated in. Thus you couldn't believe that all this time that both, Charlie & Lola, were alive and well right in front of you. As they are still sitting on the floor looking at you with concern, Charlie replied with a stern look on his face.
"Well... You see, Bossie... When we all found that you had collapsed on the floor by the time we arrived, Mum, Dad, Me, and Lola had to call the ambulance to take you to the hospital; due to the intense fever that you've caught from the blistering cold. Everyone in your family was very worried about you, so when the doctor discharged you from the Hospital, Dad carried you behind his back. At the time, you were held on Dad's back by Mum all the way back to here. After that, Mum fixed up your bed to let you rest comfortably while you were still out from your sickness. It's strange that while you still slept, you were mumbling in your sleep; talking about... Someone that... Killed us?"
Confusion still hits you through your mind as you were still sitting up on your bed. It's not something that you would experience from such things that don't seem to feel right about the incident from Charlie. You try to pick yourself up from the bed, but both of the kids prevented you from doing so. Lola says to you...
"Don't get up, Bossie. You shouldn't strain yourself too much. It's bad for your health."
"*grunts* Tell me... Charlie. How long... Was I... Asleep?"
The look on his face clearly gives an expression of worry that only you truly know about. Charlie & Lola look at each other, then at you as Charlie finally clears his throat, and said:
"Three days... You have been asleep for three days on your bed from your illness. While you were still resting, you were speaking about someone that killed me and Lola in cold blood... Someone by the name of Thunder. ...It scared me and Lola so much, that we had to stay focused on getting your fever down; therefore not letting us feel frighten by those words that had came out from your mouth. Thanks to the medicine, and the care, you finally woke up from such a cold sickness on you. Anyway, we're all happy you've recovered, Bossie!"
"Yes, yes. I'm so happy that you're okay! Now, we don't have to worry about the bad stuff that was making you so sick."
Lola gleefully spoke in a happy tone that made you feel a lot better from such serious circumstances that you've dealt with from before. As for Charlie on the other hand, the concern that he had towards your health was something that was unusual; besides the so-called nightmare that you had said about the incident in front of him. He then places his hand on your shoulder with a smile on his face to say to you in a calming voice.
"I'm glad that you're doing fine, Bossie. It's just that I always knew that you could overcome anything for the sake of others; even when you healed yourself up from your illness... And, I'm happy that you're my best friend."
In a moment, a smile slowly appears on your face. No longer were the struggles of conflict that stood in your way. No longer were you startled by their demise. You are now at peace with you friends, and you hugged them like there was no tomorrow. Charlie & Lola embraced your hug kindly in the same way. Deep down inside at the same time, the both of them kept silent about what you said about them being murdered in a dream or something. In his mind, Charlie kept himself as he was pretending to be happy about your recovery from sickness; not realizing that your encounter was real all along. Lola also knew about it, but she, too, kept it a secret of the chaos that had happened to them. You feel much stronger now that you'd been healed from your fever as you slowly pick yourself up from the bed; as both of your friends followed you, and went straight into your kitchen to grab yourself a meal in order to fulfill your hunger. It seems that while you eating your meal at a slow pace, you noticed something very odd about Charlie & Lola's behavior of them being concerned as it isn't their concern for you... It is something else that they're concerned about.
A secret that no one knows about... Even you.
While still feasting slowly on your plate, you decided to speak to Charlie for his unusual look on his face; as well as Lola's, with a stern look on your face.
"Charlie... There's something that's bothering you that the both of you aren't telling me... And, I want both, you & Lola, to tell me HONESTLY about what's been going on, lately. Because when I asked you about what had happened to me, you told me that you heard me mumbling about you two being killed by... ...大哥, 雷. (Big Brother, Thunder)"
Hearing you speak the last three words in Chinese was a shock to the siblings including their parents. The confusion still turned on many heads, but Charlie & Lola decided to reply to you on your question of the incident. Lola chose to speak to you on Charlie's behalf.
"Well, Bossie... What Charlie and I heard of you saying that the bad man took our lives, we were frightened by the sound of your voice. So Mum wanted to make sure that the intense heat from your fever would come down by giving you some medicine; since the sickness was taking over your body and mind. None of us even knew that you also spoke Chinese in your sleep. But, we were all spooked by it, and made sure that nothing like this will ever happen again... You're now well, and we're so glad that you're sick, anymore."
"So... That's what happened all the time to me... Everything was just a dream."
"Yes... It was a dream."
All of them surrounded you with a big hug to give a sense of comfort that you needed to calm down. After you finished your meal, your regained your strength to finally do your chores around the house. Charlie & Lola felt their excitement rise up from the cleaning that you were doing from sweeping the floors, to mopping, dusting, and all sorts of stuff that you all did, together. Time passes, and the house became clean from all of the hard work that was done. It seems that things had gotten better, but it turned into the evening as Charlie & Lola had to return back home to the UK with their mother and father. It was time for you to say farewell to your kid friends, and to thank them for helping with the household chores; as well as taking care of your fever. As they gather up their things to go to the airport, you give your heartfelt words to give them a moment that none of them will ever forget.
"Thank you everything that you've done for me, you guys. Let me know when you get back home to make sure that you're ok, right?"
Charlie nods happily with Lola and replied to you: "Of course we will. I'll let Mum and Dad know when to call you. Please look after yourself, Bossie."
"I will... Farewell."
Waving goodbye to them was such a bittersweet moment, but you knew that it was always important to be thankful for the help that you deserved after you broken the bond that your illness kept you from getting back your strength. Your health has improved therefore; you were no longer ill anymore. But the night sky had made you a bit tired from the work that you did, and so, you retired to your bedroom as you head towards back to bed with the brand new clean sheets that you'd changed from the cleaning.
By the time before they headed to the airport, Charlie & Lola looked up into the dark, moonlight sky, and noticed that something was flying up in the air... Or someone. Charlie took his binoculars from his bag as he continued on looking at the figure carefully. Zooming in, he was surprised to notice a familiar face that he had seen before: It was the leader of The Three Storms, Thunder. And he is floating down to your window to see you, and... to be with you. Lowering down his binoculars, a small smile appeared his face as Lola asked about the true secret that they kept from you.
"Charlie?"
"Yes, Lola?"
"It was a good thing that we didn't actually tell Bosconian the REAL truth about all of the things that had actually happened to us, and to her when we got imprisoned by our evil doppelgängers at the dungeon. They thought that they could get away with it by having us locked up; but Thunder found us, and freed us. He even told us that he'll take care of those evil doppelgangers by killing them. As for rescuing us, we vowed to not let Bosconian know about the truth... And that is a fact, Charlie."
"Agreed, Lola. It was for the best to let Bosconian believe that it was just a dream; when she was actually there fighting against Thunder, and being with him romantically. Now, all of the rest of the situation is left to Thunder. Let's go, Lola."
"Okay, Charlie."
Charlie & Lola held their hands as they head towards the airport to return home with their parents back to England to tell all of their friends of their trip. Looking outward towards the direction from the airport, Thunder smiles at the promise that the kids had kept to him about the secret truth they held from you.
"I am glad that the young human children have made a promise to me after I've killed the doppelganger versions of them. They've done their share, and now, the rest is up to me... To be with her... my 妹妹. (Little Sister)"
He, then, heads to your home floating towards the window as he passes through the window quietly. You suddenly feel a breeze hit your face while you slept. As you slowly open your eyes, a dark figure appears right in front of you. You didn't make a sound, but you kept your eyes wide open at what you're seeing as you say the three words that came out from your mouth.
"Who are you?"
The reply then left you stunned as you've heard a familiar voice.
" 妹妹... My sweetheart."
This can't be happening. It shouldn't be happening. Not ever... Until now.
