The next day, or, in this case, morning, as the sun began to rise, and a Diamondback Rattlesnake began slithering around, between rocks and through crevices, Koki and Jimmy, who is holding onto a bag of his collection of seeds, are speeding across the Sonoran Desert via the HoverBike on a supply run to the nearest town.

"Whoa!" Jimmy shouted "Aah! My bag! Whoa! Slow down!"

But Koki was laughing with excitement.

"Stop." Jimmy complained.

"The Sonoran Desert is great!" Koki said.

"Koki, cut it out, you're acting like a Kratt Brother." Jimmy said. "Gah!"

"Hey, every now and then I like getting out and letting loose on the hover bike." Koki said, before they then temporarily stopped for a moment. "Don't you?"

"No, the desert creeps me out." Jimmy said. "The blazing heat, hardly any water, the creepy crawlies..." He pointed and gestured to an Arizona Bark Scorpion. "Ah, see? It's freaky. Let's just get to town, get those supplies we need and get back to the Tortuga."

They then set off again.

"Whoa! Slow down, I'm spilling my beans!" Jimmy said.

"They're seeds." Koki corrected. "And why are you collecting them anyway, Jimmy?

"They go well with my pebble collection." Jimmy explained. "Besides, they're cute.

"Hmm." Koki said, doubtfully.

"Whoa!" Jimmy shouted.

The whole time, the bag of seeds are being spilled as a trail on the route to town.

Meanwhile, back at the Tortuga.

"I can't do it right now, guys." Aviva said. "They'll be back from the supply run by noon and I have a lot of cleaning up to do." She then notices one of Jimmy's seeds. "Ugh, they're everywhere. Hmph!" She then flicks it off the counter, as it bounces off against the wall and into the trash can.

"Please, please, please!" Both brothers begged in unison.

You just got to!" Martin said.

Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby shook their heads.

"Oh brothers, not the begging, anything but the begging-" Aviva said.

"Please!" Both brothers begged in unison.

"Ugh, okay, okay, just get up." Aviva said. "I can't take it. Sheesh!

"Awesome!" Both brothers said in unison. "Thanks, Aviva!"

"I know you guys have been wanting this power since we got to the Sonoran Desert, but hurry up and get me some info." Aviva said. "I can't make a suit without knowing exactly how the creature power works."

"Don't worry." Martin said.

"We've got a plan." Chris said.

"Hmm." Aviva said, doubtfully. "Oh! And one more thing; take Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby with you guys as well. I can't keep track of all them and concentrate on my work at the same time. Besides, I'm sure they'd all like to help you out with this as well."

"Okay." Martin said.

"Come on, guys." Chris said to the Jurassic Siblings, who followed them out the door.

Aviva then sighed exasperatedly.

Later, Chris and Martin have donned a saguaro cactus disguise made for two people to help out with getting the Elf Owl information for the Elf Owl Power Suit. Martin provided mobility while Chris stood on Martin's shoulders and provided spying. The Jurassic Siblings helped by monitoring the suit to help make sure that everything goes exactly as according to planned.

"Steady, steady, smooth it out, Martin!" Chris said, as he wobbled and nearly fell over.

Martin poked his head out of the lower part of the cactus disguise, panting.

"I can't see anything down here." Martin said.

"Don't worry about seeing, just focus on walking." Chris said. "Okay, just a little to the right and we're there. Whoa- wah- little more to the right- almost there-"

"Where?" Martin said.

"Whoa, too much. Whoa- Stop! There! The cactus with eyes." Chris said. "Okay, a few steps to the left- perfect. Haha- we did it! We're close to an Elf Owl! The smallest owl in the world."

Martin then poked his head out again.

"What a great place for a nest." Martin said. "It's a really cool place away from the hot sun."

"And with all those cactus spines, it's a tough place for predators like Coyotes and Bobcats to get to." Chris said.

As the owl then preens itself, one of its feathers comes off and floats onto the tip of Chris' left cactus branch.

"A feather." Chris said. "Okay, we just need to get a scan of the Elf Owl and we'll have what Aviva needs to make the power suit."

"I can't wait!" Martin said. "The eyesight, the hearing, the stealth flight. Oh, we've got to get it all. Owl powers, here we come!"

Martin then scans the Elf Owl.

"Yeah, we did it!" Chris said.

However, a light breeze catches the feather and it then floats away.

"Oh-No!" Chris said, as he tried to grab it. "Quick! After that feather!" He and Martin then chased after the feather, with the Jurassic Gang at their sides. "Wha! Right- whoa, whoa- Gah! Oh!"

The feather then gently landed onto the tip of Chris' "right" cactus branch, this time.

"Ha! Alright!" Chris said.

But then...

"Right? You got it, bro!" Martin said, and then continued on running, without realizing what has happened.

"Wait, No!" Chris shouted.

Then, it happened.

"Whoa! Aah! Ow! Ugh!" Both brothers said in unison, as they then tripped, rolled down a slope, tumbled off a ledge, and painfully fell straight into a grove of saguaro cactus.

Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby made their way safely down the rocky area and caught up to the Brothers, having found out that their saguaro cactus disguise had been pulled off them as they crashed into the real saguaro cactus.

Both Martin and Chris were covered in cactus spines and hanging by their clothes on one of the saguaro cactuses.

"Ow." Martin moaned. "Why'd you say right?

"Not right, "Alright"!" Chris said. "As in, I got the feather."

"You do?!" Martin said.

"Mm-hmm." Chris said, before showing his hands, which were full of cactus spines as he then shook them off. "Well, I did have the feather."

The Elf Owl then appears and lands on Chris' head.

"Aw!" Martin said, as the Elf Owl preens itself a bit.

Both brothers then chuckled.

Meanwhile, back with Koki and Jimmy...

The Hoverbike's engine started sputtering.

"Oh, Great." Jimmy said. "Please tell me this is a joke.

"Hang on." Koki said. "Okay. And- Out of battery power? Oh-No! Isn't this kind of stuff supposed to happen to the Kratt Brothers and, occasionally, the Jurassic Siblings and not us?"

"You mean being- being stranded way out here in the desert?" Jimmy said. "Well, it's not supposed to happen to me! No water, no food, no communication."

Jimmy started screaming his head off as he randomly pushed buttons, hoping the Hoverbike would power and start back up.

"Hey, remember, the Sonoran desert has more rainfall than any other desert." Koki said. "We'll be fine."

"But it's still a desert!" Jimmy said. "It might not rain for days! And we can't last that long without water."

"Well, we'll just stay put." Koki said. "Aviva, the Kratt Brothers and the Jurassic Siblings know we were heading towards town. They'll realize we're missing and come looking for us."

"Problem is, you decided to take the long, scenic route, remember?" Jimmy reminded Koki.

"They'll find us." Koki said.

"We're in this together, little bean bag." Jimmy said.

Koki then grumbled.

"Help!" Koki said, before lounging back on the Hoverbike.

Meanwhile, Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby were helping Chris and Martin pull out the cactus spines that they got pricked and covered with.

"2,356..." Martin counted, as Amber pulled a spine out of his arm. "Ow!"

"2,357..." Chris counted, as Tyrana pulled a spine out of his thigh. "D'ah!"

"Uh, we gotta stop running into you like this." Martin said.

Both brothers then laughed and the Elf Owl from before then reappears and lands on Chris' head.

"Oh great, now we find out you like to sit on people's heads." Chris said to the Elf Owl.

"Would have been a lot less painful if we'd known that before." Martin said, as Chris noticed a cactus spine in the side of his face.

"Hold still." Chris said, as he held Martin's head.

"Ow!" Martin said, as Chris pulled the spine out.

"At least now we can get a good look at this little Elf Owl's features." Chris said. "Like those eyes. They're huge!"

"That's right!" Aviva said, as she contacted the Brothers on Martin's CreaturePod. "I'm checking out the scan you got. And according to my analysis, Owls have eyes that are up to 100 times better at seeing in the dark than ours are, just like those of most theropod dinosaurs, like Amber and Tyrana!"

"Yeah, and even though they can't move them around like we can, they can turn their heads completely backward, like- Ow! Like we can't do." Martin said, as he demonstrated what Owls both could and couldn't do, compared to humans, painfully enough, needless to say. "Oof!"

The Elf Owl then demonstrated the ability himself.

"That's how it's done." Chris said. "Great! That's Owl Sensory Power #1: Eyesight. Now let's check out that hearing. We need Owl-powered ears."

"Elfis here can show us that, too." Martin said.

"Elvis? Like the famous singer?" Chris inquired.

"No, "Elfis"." Martin said. "Elfis the Elf Owl. That's what I'm naming him."

"Stop! Hold everything!" Aviva then said, making the Brothers jump back startled.

"Huh?" Martin said.

"Ow! Missed one." Chris said, as he then pulled a cactus spine he forgot out of his behind.

"What's up, Aviva?"

"I just realized Koki and Jimmy aren't back yet." Aviva said. "They're super late."

Well, just call them. Chris suggested.

"I did, no answer." Aviva said. "Oh, Koki's the communication queen. She wouldn't be late without calling. What if something went wrong?"

"Okay well, just keep trying to reach them." Chris said. "We'll put the Elf Owl adventure on hold and be right there."

"Sorry, Elfis, emergency." Martin said. "We'll catch up with you later."

The Kratt Brothers then head off, but the Jurassic Siblings still looked curiously at Elfis.

Amber and Elfis then chirped at each other, before Elfis then went inside the hole of the saguaro cactus and Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby then rushed off to catch up with Chris and Martin.

A few minutes later, The Kratt Brothers and Jurassic Siblings have returned to the Tortuga, where Martin was standing outside, surveying the desert with his Creature Power Suit on, and Amber and Tyrana by his sides.

Aviva was struggling as she brought out a bag of trash and then loaded it into the recycling trash can.

"Oh, it sure is scorching hot out here." Aviva said, exhaustedly. "Not a good place to be stranded."

"Yeah, we need to find them fast." Martin said.

"Guys, over here!" Chris called, as Martin, Amber and Tyrana went over to where he was with Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby. "Aren't these the seeds Jimmy was collecting?"

"Yes, they're driving me crazy. He's been leaving them lying around everywhere." Aviva said, before she then noticed another one on the lid of the trash can. "Hmm? Hmph."

"Exactly! He leaves the seeds everywhere he goes!" Chris said. "And look, they left a whole trail of seeds."

He and Grubby then noticed the trail of seeds that Jimmy left as he and Koki head off across the desert.

"Ah, he spilled them as they were riding off." Martin stated.

"So if we follow the trail of seeds..." Aviva put in.

"It should lead us right to Jimmy and Koki!" Chris finished.

"Yes! Wahoo!" They all cheered.

"Alright!" Aviva said, cheerfully.

"We'll have Koki and Jimmy back here in no time." Chris said, as he and Martin got on their Buzzbikes.

"Follow those seeds!" Martin said.

The Jurassic Siblings then hopped on the Buzzbikes and they set off, following the trail of seeds to find Koki and Jimmy.

Later, as a Coyote was howling on a ledge, the Brothers and their dinosaurs were still following the trail of seeds left behind by Koki and Jimmy on their Buzzbikes, but then they began to notice something odd.

"Uh-Oh." Chris said. "The seed trail is petering out."

"That's strange." Martin said. "Back here it's fine, but... Wait, they were here, now they're gone."

"But that doesn't make sense." Chris said. "We just looked this way for a second... Huh? Now there are even less!"

Then they noticed something.

"Wha?!" Martin exclaimed in bewilderment.

Some of the seeds were actually somehow jumping.

"Ah-ha!" Both brothers said in unison.

And it could only mean 1 thing.

"Haha! They're jumping beans!" Chris said.

"But look, some don't jump." Martin said. "Why do those jump and these don't jump? Come on, lazy bean, jump!"

"Let's see." Chris said, as he picked one up and jumped off his hand.

"Ooh!" Martin said, amazed.

The jumping bean then jumped into a hole.

"Hey, get back here." Chris said, as he reached his hand in and tried to grab the jumping bean.

Then, a rattling sound was heard.

The Jurassic Siblings froze as it sounded quite familiar to them.

"Uh-Oh!" Chris said.

"Don't move." Martin said. "That's not a good sound."

"Yeah, I'd say a Rattlesnake rattling at my hand is definitely not good." Chris said.

"Especially if he stops making the warning sound and decides to strike." Martin said.

"Yeah, that would be even more not good." Chris said.

"We'll see if we can coax him out." Martin said, before he, Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby then went over to another hole to try and coax the Rattlesnake out. "Hey Rattlesnake, we didn't mean to bug you, we just..."

Then they saw what it really was...

A Burrowing Owl.

Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby felt much more relieved.

"Chris, it's an..." Martin said, before the Burrowing Owl then pecked at Chris' finger, causing him to quickly pull back his hand.

"Ow! He got me! I'm done! Finished!" Chris said, unaware that wasn't really bitten by a Rattlesnake. "The venom of the rattler is coursing through my veins. I can feel it."

The Burrowing Owl then came out of the hole.

"Uh, Chris, wait a sec!" Martin said, as he and the Jurassic Gang approached Chris.

"Can't wait. I don't have much longer." Chris said, dramatically. "Goodbye, brother of mine. And dinos of mine as well. I'm feeling weak."

Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby shook their heads.

"Uh, Chris, it wasn't a Rattlesnake." Martin said. "It was an Owl!"

"Huh?" Chris said.

"That guy." Martin said.

He and the Jurassic Gang gestured to the Burrowing Owl.

"That guy?" Chris said, as the Burrowing Owl made a rattle-like sound. "A Burrowing Owl!"

"Yes! Another desert elf." Martin said. "And this one lives underground."

They all then observed the Burrowing Owl from behind a large rock.

"And is also happy to be out in the daytime." Chris said. "Who said our Owl adventure was on hold?"

The Burrowing Owl was curiously observing a burrow itself when a Harris's Antelope Ground Squirrel then popped its head out from it.

"Oh, they use old Ground Squirrel holes as their homes." Martin said.

"And so do Rattlesnakes, so any one of the holes out here could have a Ground Squirrel, a Rattlesnake, or a Burrowing Owl living in it." Chris said.

"So if you're a little Burrowing Owl, with some big predator poking around your home, who better to imitate than a Rattlesnake?" Martin said, before they then heard something coming. "Uh-Oh."

They then ducked behind the rock and then peeked from behind and saw a hungry Coyote on the prowl.

"That Coyote's looking for a meal." Chris said.

Then, a rattling sound was heard.

"But the question is, who's down that hole?" Chris wondered.

"I'm betting that one really is a rattler." Martin said.

"I'm going with the burrowing owl." Chris said.

The rattling sound was enough for the Coyote to retreat.

"Ooh, he backed down." Martin said.

Then, a Burrowing Owl popped out of the hole.

"Yes, a Burrowing Owl!" Chris said. "Now that's a great trick. Mimicry: Burrowing Owl style."

"They got us and a Coyote to back off." Martin said.

"Plus, I got the jumping bean back." Chris said.

Then Aviva contacted them on Martin's CreaturePod.

"Guys, Aviva here! Come in." Aviva called.

"Did you locate Koki and Jimmy?" Martin asked.

"No, but I've been checking out these jumping beans and you won't believe what's making them jump." Aviva said.

"Uh, cool new basketball sneakers?" Martin quizzed.

"Not exactly." Aviva chuckled. "Look inside. It's a Caterpillar! And when the Caterpillar flips around inside the seed, it jumps. So if the seed has a Caterpillar inside, it's a jumping bean. If it doesn't, it's just a regular seed that doesn't jump."

"But why?" Chris asked. "Why flip around and jump in the first place?"

"Look at this." Aviva said, as she turned on a light and shined it on some jumping beans. "The Caterpillars don't like getting too hot, so they jump around until they find a cooler spot."

"Ah, so that's why we're losing Jimmy and Koki's trail." Chris said. "It's the heat of the day and the seeds with the Caterpillars, the jumping beans, are jumping around to get away from the heat."

"If too many seeds jump away, the seed trail could disappear completely." Martin said.

"No time to lose." Chris said, as they and their young dinosaur compadres hopped back on the Buzzbikes. "Let's go!"

"We're coming, Koki and Jimmy Z!" Martin said, as they took off once again.

Meanwhile, Koki was pushing up to a perfect spot where she and Jimmy can be found.

"Are you getting hungry, Koki?" Jimmy asked.

"I think I'm okay, for now." Koki replied.

"Not me." Jimmy said. "All I can think about is my little mini-fridge, packed with all my favorite snacks. Hot dogs, popcorn, pepperoni pizza-"

"I think you're getting a little delirious." Koki said. "You need some food and water. I hope those guys are looking for us, because we're frying out here!"

Later, at dusk, the Brothers and Jurassic Gang were still following the seed trail.

"This trail goes all over the place." Martin said. "It's like they were taking the long way to town or something."

Then, a Burrowing Owl swooped by then as it snatched up a Sonoran Collared Lizard.

"Whoa, a Burrowing Owl!" Chris said. "He got a Collared Lizard." He then hops off his Buzzbike and watches with Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby as the Burrowing Owl eats his catch. "These Burrowing Owls are masters at catching insects, lizards, small mammals, and-"

"Hey hey!" Martin said. "That's pretty amazing, nothing like a cool creature distraction as we follow the seed trail."

Then, another Burrowing Owl picks up one of the seeds from the trail and heads off with it.

"Hey, get back here with that seed!" Martin said. "Don't you mess up our trail." He, Amber and Tyrana then got off his Buzzbike and chased after the Burrowing Owl. "Stop! Thief!"

The Burrowing Owl then makes it to his hole.

"Hmm, what's all this stuff at his doorstep?" Martin said, as the Burrowing Owl then places the seed down along with the many other things he has. "Shells, feathers, seeds, oh, even mammal dung?"

The Burrowing Owl then moves the mammal dung ball over a bit and reveals a Dusky Darkling Beetle.

"A Beetle!" Martin gasped, as the Burrowing Owl then eats the Dusky Darkling Beetle. "Amazing. You Owls don't only hunt, you attract food right to your doorstep. These Beetles eat dung and they like to live and hide under all kinds of things. So the Beetles come here thinking, "Ah, it's a great place to be.", and then you owls gobble them up. Hey, but just don't take those seeds, okay? We need that seed trail to follow our friends."

Then, Aviva called them on Chris' CreaturePod.

"Guys! Did you look at the sun?" Aviva said.

"No. What?" Martin said. "Huh?"

"It's going down!" Aviva said, as the Sun was, indeed, setting.

"That means it'll be dark in just a few minutes." Martin said.

"Too dark to see the trail!" Chris said.

"Too dark to find Koki and Jimmy!" Both brothers said in unison, as they and their dinosaurs hurried over to their Buzzbikes.

"Hurry!" Martin said.

They quickly hopped on the Buzzbikes and set off immediately.

But as several more minutes passed, Night eventually fell.

"We're too late." Martin said. "I can't see anything now."

"Ah, but it's a good thing Amber and Tyrana still can." Chris said. "Since they both have the right kind of eyes that help them see even in the pitch-black darkest of nights."

Then, something caught Amber's and Tyrana's attention.

"They must've spotted something." Martin said.

"Martin, look!" Chris said, as he then noticed Elfis flying towards them. "It's Elfis!"

"Elfis! Hey, someone's also having no trouble seeing." Martin said, as Elfis landed on his head.

"Are you kidding?" Chris said. "Just like Amber and Tyrana would, he could probably see us a mile away with those eyes."

"Those eyes... Owl eyes!" Martin said. "Owls are the masters of the night."

"With incredible night vision." Chris said.

"And excellent hearing." Marin added.

Amber and Tyrana stared curiously at Elfis, as did Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby.

"Owl Power can help us save Koki and Jimmy." Chris said.

"The answer was right under our noses the whole time." Martin said, as he then brought out his CreaturePod and called Aviva. "Aviva, come in."

"I'm already on it, guys." Aviva said. "Having a look at Owl Sensory Feature #2 now: Hearing. When a sound comes in, the big round disc-shaped face of the owl works like a huge satellite dish, collecting as much of the sound as possible."

"Wow!" Both brothers said in unison.

"And not only that, Owl ears are hidden under their feathers." Aviva said. "But one ear is way down here, and one ear is way up here. That helps the Owl pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from."

"Amazing!" Martin said. "If you can get those features in a suit, they'll really help us track down Koki and Jimmy Z.

"Okay, but whatever you do, don't lose Elfis." Aviva said. "We need his help with the transformation."

"Don't worry, we've got that covered." Martin said.

A few seconds later, Chris was climbing up a tree with Elfis.

"We're sticking with you, pal. We need your help tonight." Chris said. "Do you hear something? See something? I bet those ears and eyes are in full hunt mode right now. I don't hear or see a thing, but an Owl can hear an insect skittling in the leaf litter from 75 feet away."

Then, Elfis located his target and immediately took off flying after it.

"Martin, he's heading your way." Chris said.

"Wait up, buddy." Martin said, as he and the Jurassic Siblings raced after Elfis to try and catch up with him. "What? You heard something way over there?"

Elfis then deployed his talons and also then caught an Arizona Bark Scorpion and pinned it on a rock as Martin and the Jurassic Gang finally caught up to him.

"Incredible!" Martin said. "You knew that scorpion was hiding there from way over in that tree!"

"Hello!" Chris called.

"Those are exactly the kind of senses we need!" Martin said.

Aviva then contacted Martin on his CreaturePod.

"Well, those are the kind of senses you're getting right now!" Aviva said. "The Elf Owl Power Discs are ready to go."

"Ho-ho, just in time. I don't know how much longer we could've kept up with Elfis." Martin said, as Elfis eats his catch and then flew up onto Martin's head.

"Two Power Discs ready for Teleportation." Aviva announced. "Coming at you, JZ. Oops. Oh yeah, he's not here. It's just not the same without Jimmy. And zap it."

Once the discs were teleported to them, the Brothers quickly inserted them into their Power Suits and Chris lightly touched Elfis by the wing.

"Activate Elf Owl Power!" Both brothers said in unison.

They pressed the Activation Buttons and quickly activated into Elf Owl Power Suits.

"To the Jimmy rescue!" Chris said.

"To the Koki rescue!" Martin said.

They and Elfis flew off with the Jurassic Siblings right alongside them.

"Now this is what nocturnal search and locate is all about!" Chris said. "This eye gear is awesome! I can see the seed trail so clearly now, even at night."

"Ah! Alright, alright, no need to scream, Chris." Martin said. "This Owl hearing is ultra-sensitive."

"We're like nocturnal spy missiles." Chris said. "Come on, guys, the trail goes this way."

"Let's just hope we're not too late." Martin said.

Meanwhile, back with Koki and Jimmy...

A growling sound was heard.

"Aah! What's that?!" Jimmy said, worriedly. "Did you hear that?!"

"Hear what?" Koki asked.

"That growl." Jimmy said. "Something's out there. There it is again!"

"Jimmy, do you know what that growl is coming from?" Koki said.

"I don't want to know, and I don't want to find out." Jimmy said.

"Your stomach." Koki said.

"Oh. Well, that's because I'm starving out here!" Jimmy said.

"Hold it together a little longer, JZ." Koki said. "Those guys will find us. They better find us fast."

Jimmy sighed hopelessly, before then noticing some Moths coming from his bag of jumping beans, which meant that they were Jumping Bean Moths.

"Huh? Hey, what's going on?! My seeds!" Jimmy said.

"What? Moths?" Koki inquired.

Meanwhile, back with the Kratt Brothers, the Jurassic Siblings and Elfis...

"Chris, I'm picking up some strange movements ahead." Martin said, before noticing some Jumping Bean Moths. "Wait a second... our trail. It's hatching! Whoa, those little Caterpillars inside the jumping beans transformed into Moths. They're leaving the seeds!"

Just then, Elfis then caught one of the Jumping Bean Moths in his talons.

"And check out Elfis." Chris said, as he, Martin and Elfis then perched on a cactus. "He loves it! He's a master insect hunter."

"And so does Amber." Martin said, as Amber jumped up and caught another Jumping Bean Moth. "She loves it too."

Elfis and Amber then each ate their catch.

"Wait, what's over there?" Chris wondered.

Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby looked over to where Chris was looking.

"Owl eyes: maximum focus." Chris said. "More Moths. Hey, if Jimmy had a whole bag of these jumping beans, then-"

"That big swarm of Moths could be from his bag!" Martin said.

"Let's go!" Chris said.

They then flew over to the area with the Jurassic Siblings right behind them.

"Whoa, that's a lot of Moths." Jimmy said.

"Ew! Just put them down somewhere, JZ." Koki said. "They're getting everywhere."

Then, one of the Jumping Bean Moths landed on Jimmy's nose.

"Aah!" Jimmy said, as he tried to shoo it off, but accidentally bumped into Koki, causing them to stumble into the Hoverbike and slide down a decline.

"Whoa!" Jimmy said.

"Whoa!" Both Koki and Jimmy said in unison, as they then fell into a chasm and landed on a ledge in it.

"Oh-No!" Koki said. "We're in trouble now. How will they ever find us way down here?"

"And there's no food down here, either." Jimmy said.

"Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm." Koki said.

"Look! It's Jimmy's bag of jumping beans!" Chris said.

"Ah, but no sign of Jimmy and Koki." Martin said.

"Hmm, maybe they ditched the seeds for some reason." Chris said. "That means our trail ends here."

"Yeah, but we know they were heading that way, so let's just keep on searching in the direction they were headed." Martin said.

"Good idea, bro." Chris said, as they all began to head off again, flying over the chasm.

"And keep those Owl senses tuned in!" Martin said.

Then, a growling sound was heard, and so they stopped.

"Wait, what's that?" Martin said. "Owl hearing: maximum power! It's... It's..."

"Jimmy's stomach!" Both brothers said in unison.

"That's the sound it makes when he's hungry for pizza!"

"Quick! It's coming from over there." Martin said.

"Whew, almost flew right past it." Chris said. "Ha! This Owl power is incredible! Being able to pinpoint a tiny sound like that and hone in on exactly where it's coming from."

"Let's just hope ours works as good as his." Martin said. "There they are! Ha ha! Jimmy! Koki!"

They then flew down into the chasm, with the Jurassic Gang looking down it.

"Wahoo! You found us!" Jimmy cheered.

"Yay!" Koki cheered. "How'd you do it?"

"Let's just say we got some help from a little desert elf." Martin said.

"With big creature powers." Chris said, as Elfis perched on Jimmy's finger.

Then Jimmy's stomach growled as he chuckled.

Later, early the next morning, at dawn...

"And... got you!" Aviva said, as she hoisted and hauled Koki, Jimmy and the Hoverbike out of the chasm.

"We're saved!" Both Jimmy and Koki cheered in unison.

"Mission accomplished." Aviva said. "We got Jimmy and Koki back!"

"Thanks to my jumping bean collection." Jimmy said.

"Which we now know are really caterpillars that live inside the seed of a Sebastiana bush." Aviva said.

"And thanks to the desert elves of the Sonoran Desert." Chris said.

"Their creature powers of sight and hearing are incredible." Martin said.

"Don't forget Jimmy's rumbling tummy." Koki said.

"Yeah, it's a good thing my tummy called out for pizza when it did, right, guys?" Jimmy said.

"Chris? Martin? Amber? Tyrana? Skylie? Bumpo? Hornster? Grubby?" Aviva said.

"Uh-Oh. Don't tell me we lost somebody else now." Koki said.

"They're not lost." Aviva said. "Look."

Martin and Chris were sleeping with Elfis inside a hole in a saguaro cactus, and Amber, Tyrana, Skylie, Bumpo, Hornster and Grubby were all sleeping together at its base.

"I guess after a long night of looking and listening, every Owl, and Dinosaur, needs some shuteye." Aviva chuckled.

Author's Note:

Finally finished!

And now for a little bonus chapter of the Sonoran Desert.
