"Aaaaaahhh!" Yukari cried out as she was batted through a building looking a bit damaged.
"Haa...haa...haa...You're doing well Yukari-San!" Setsuna said, looking damaged herself.
"Hah." Yukari walked out of the destroyed building. "Haa! So are you! Though I'm doing better!"
"Hmhmhmhmhmhahahah!" Setsuna laughed. "I wonder about that, you brother lover!"
Yukari's eyes widened as she dodged an arc of lightning rushed past her. She glared competitively. "Wow, not holding back huh?"
"Against you, that would be dangerous." Setsuna said.
The two clashed several times before locking against each other. "You've gotten better." Yukari said. "Did Ialda make you train?"
"No...this and being with Ojo-...Kono-Chan were the only things that relaxed me." Setsuna said glancing away.
"Wait...she...she didn't torture you all did she?" Yukari asked.
"..." Setsuna glanced away with a despairing look.
"...That...bitch!" Yukari growled out.
"Hmn..." Setsuna smiled. "I'm so sorry to worry you Yukari-San...but Kono-Chan and I are fine, honestly."
Power exploded out of Yukari as she started to drive Setsuna back. "Don't lie to me! You're obviously not! I'll...I'll make that fucking bitch pay if it's the last thing I DO!"
"..." Setsuna closed her eyes as her body struggled against Yukari. A pair of tear trails rolling down her cheeks. "Thank you...so much...my dear friend...Yukari Tsuki."
"!" Yukari's eyes squeezed shut as she slashed downward, batting Setsuna backward.
Asia and Konoka's eyes widened at this. "Yukari-San..." Asia said with a tearful gaze.
"Ken-kun was our friend, so obviously we became fast friends with Yukari-Chan and Miyuki-Chan...this has to be tearing Yukari-Chan apart." Konoka said wiping the tears from of her eyes.
A figure landed between Yukari and Setsuna as she was revealed to be rather unharmed. "H-Hey! Granberia!" Yukari said.
"Go Yukari!" Granberia called out. "I'll handle her. It's obvious that fighting her is affecting you."
"Krh..." Yukari growled.
"I know how it feels. Fighting someone who is a dear friend to you." Granberia said. "That's why I'm stepping in. Besides, you have personal business with Ialda Baoth, go settle it!"
Yukari's eyes widened a bit, but she smirked. "Just be careful Granberia. She knows demon slaying arts!"
Granberia smirked as Yukari took off. "Please, you're acting like this is the first time I've dealt with an exorcist."
Meanwhile Miyuki was dodging various strikes from Ku Fei. "What was that about beating me one handed? !" Ku Fei balked with a laugh.
"Damn..." Miyuki growled, her free arm feeling numb from the various strikes it had endured.
"Seems you bit off more than you could chew, Miyuki-Chan~!" Ku Fei said as she appeared in front of Miyuki, slapping her left hand on her right forearm, launching a blast of ki out of her fist, into Miyuki's body.
"G-Gah!" Miyuki gasped out, jumping back holding her stomach with a glare.
"Heh!" Ku Fei rushed her with a hungry, yet unwilling smirk.
A pool of blue slime welled up and protected Miyuki as it wrapped around Ku Fei. "Eh? ! Awawawawa? !" Ku Fei said as she suddenly felt herself unable to move.
"Erubetie?" Miyuki said with wide eyes.
"Go, you have personal issues with Ialda Baoth. Go settle them. I'll keep her restrained. I can tell you two are friends."
"Hmn!" Miyuki said with a smile. "Thanks Erubetie-Chan!" She said as she took
"You're not going anywhere as long as I'm here. I'm made up of tens of thousands of slime spirits." Erubetie said. "It's an order from Kenshin, our master not to harm you, but in Granberia's case it might be..'not too much.'" Erubetie said.
"Nngh! Your power feels like the three slime sisters Wilheim used on us!" Ku Fei said.
"Slime Sisters?" Erubetie said. "Wilheim employed female slimes? How odd."
"What do you mean?" Ku Fei asked. "Why is it odd-aru?"
"Because until recently he hated female youkai." Erubetie said.
"Well they did seem like kids, maybe the guy had a soft spot for kids?" Ku Fei suggested.
"Or maybe he only hated carnivore youkai." Erubetie said. "His attacks did target them a good deal."
"What?" Ku Fei asked.
"Nothing, just thinking out loud." Erubetie said.
"Um...you're not going to do anything weird to me are you?" Ku Fei asked.
"Do you want me to?" Erubetie asked with a smile.
"N-No!" Ku Fei yelled with a blush.
"Then worry not I'm just here to restrain you." Erubetie said with a bit of a laugh. "Kenshin said explicitly that he didn't want any of you killed. He seems to care about you all a lot."
"Yeah! Kenshin-Sensei's nice like that-aru!" Ku Fei said. "It was dumb that he was getting fired, especially after we found out it wasn't his fault."
"Fired?" Erubetie said with a curious look. "What does that mean?"
"Um...it...means being forcefully relieved of your position." Ku Fei said with a sweatdrop.
"So he was being usurped?" Erubetie asked.
"N-No, the mage teachers at our school just didn't like him and wanted him gone." Ku Fei said. "Jeez how do you not know about thinks like that?"
"In my area of Makai we are quite secluded from the rest of the world due to requiring clean environments to survive in." Erubetie said.
"Oh." Ku Fei said. "S-Sorry if I made you feel dumb-aru."
"Hahaha, don't worry. I'm still adjusting to how your society works." Erubetie laughed. "A good deal of us are in Kenshin's group."
"Oh, Haha...ngh...Ialda's mana is forcing me to move, but you're strong-aru." Ku Fei said. "I can't force myself out."
"I'm a colony of over ten thousand slimes I've helped out over the years. I'm also disrupting the flow of your ki and mana."
"I see-aru, well I guess I'll just lay here then-aru." Ku Fei said with a smile.
"That said...I don't sense any of Ialda's shadow demons around us so may I ask you a question?" Erubetie said.
"Huh?" Ku Fei said.
"How do you act around a person you like?" Erubetie said.
"Well, just be friends with them I guess-aru!" Ku Fei answered obliviously.
"N-No...I mean...how do you act around someone you like?" Erubetie emphasized.
"...O-Oh!" Ku Fei said. "Sorry-Aru!" Ku Fei smiled awkwardly. "Sorry...I don't know if I'm the right person to ask...but...I guess...just get your feelings out there? I mean why do you like this guy Eru-Chan?"
"..." Erubetie narrowed her eyes at the affectionate title, but didn't comment. "Well, my home was in danger and he helped save it alongside Kenshin."
"Ahah...I see." Ku Fei said. "So you wanna thank him."
"Well...it's more than that. Because of the gender fissure in Makai...a lot of men treated me like a threatening monster from the point I met them."
"Well how does this guy act around you-aru." Ku Fei asked.
"Well, he's always nice...but he's a huge pervert who wants a harem." Erubetie said. "But he always cares for his friends and allies." She added.
"Well, he seems like a good guy and in your case the harem thing is a plus-aru! To be honest I've always wanted to thank Kenshin-Sensei for saving me from the Triads when we were younger-aru!"
Erubetie smiled, having been told about Kenshin's past exploits. "Thanks Ku-San."
"No problem Eru-Chan. Just keep me here so I don't hurt my friends...y'know like Miyuki-Chan." Ku Fei said.
"Of course. I can hold you here." Erubetie said.
Meanwhile Granberia and Setsuna traded blows with Konoka and Asia watching. "That sword. It's the same that Eishun fellow used on Riot Peak." Granberia said.
"You were the one who laid Eishun-Sama to rest?" Setsuna asked.
"I was, but I treated him like the warrior he was." Granberia said, holding her Ares at the ready. "I intend to do the same with you too."
"Thank you." Setsuna said.
Konoka looked conflicted but Granberia spoke up. "He didn't say anything, but I'm sure he cared about you too!" She shouted.
"Oh, I wasn't worried about that!" Konoka said with a smile. "I'm...just sad my Dad is dead again..." Konoka said glancing away with a sad smile.
"Konoka-San..." Asia said embracing her.
"Haha...thanks Asia-Chan." Konoka said hugging her back.
Granberia and Setsuna glanced at the two with matching smiles. "I've only known her for a short time, but Asia is a nice person."
"I see that...she's similar to Ojou-Sama." Setsuna said with a smile. "Well...I guess seeing as I have to...COME ON!" She shouted.
"Heh!" Granberia smirked. "Alright!" She said slashing against Setsuna's Yuunagi. "Flash Kill! Tornado!" Granberia said.
"A-Aaah? !" Setsuna said as she was blown back by a burst of wind.
"Wind was a weakness...and well it still is...but I've worked at it enough to be able to battle you and Eishun." Granberia said with a smirk as she dueled Setsuna.
"K-Krrh..." Setsuna grunted before smirking herself. "Well then, I have to take this battle a little more seriously. Shinmeiryuu Ougi! Ryuhazan!"
"!" Granberia's eyes widened as a gash opened up on her right shoulder. She jumped back and poured a vial of Phoenix Tears on her wound. "Nice try"
"I was warned about that healing item!" Setsuna shouted as she slashed at Granberia.
"Heh!" Granberia smirked and blocked her blade. "You're good...almost as good as Eishun." Granberia smirked.
"That's an honor to hear." Setsuna said with a smile.
"Good!" Granberia said.

With Kenshin and Sona
Kenshin was still meditating while Sona blasted the last of the shadow demons away. "That seems to be the last of them."
"Yes...I can sense it as well..." Kenshin said. "!" He gasped. "Sona, your left!"
"!" Sona dodged, part of her Kuoh Uniform getting ripped in the process. A green haired young girl wearing a witches outfit accompanied by a silver haired, tan skinned girl appeared.
"Oh? Who are you?" Sona asked.
"N-Natusmi Murakami." The greenette said removing her hat.
"Zazie Rainyday." The tan skinned girl said with a neutral look.
"...Hello Natsumi...Zazie." Kenshin said with his eyes closed.
"Hello Kenshin-Sensei." Natsumi and Zazie both said.
"Sensei?" Sona said.
"I was Negi's assistant teacher." Kenshin answered. "These two were two of her students."
"I see." Sona said.
"Hrm!" Zazie said rushing Sona with multiple black soul looking creatures only to be met by multiple water snakes wrapping around them.
"Hmn...you'll find I'm not such easy prey." Sona said.
"Heee? !" Natsumi yelped having no other defense other than her hat artifact which made her and everyone connected to her invisible. "I'm outta here Zazie!" Natsumi said taking off, putting her hat on, turning invisible.
"Hmn, your ally left." Sona said with a smirk.
"Only because she can't fight." Zazie said as several spirits appear around her.
"...Sona you may want to get some help." Kenshin said.
"No...I can handle this." Sona said as she sent water serpents toward Zazie and her spirits.
Zazie and her spirits all disappeared, reappearing behind Sona, who proceeded to attack Sona harshly. "AAAaa-Haaaahhhhh!" Sona cried out in pain.
"!" Saji heard this and leaped from the ground to attack Zazie. "Damn YOOOOUUU!" Saji yelled.
"..." Zazie responded with a neutral look, seeing the loving look he cast at Sona. "You're in love with her."
"So what if I am? She loves Kenshin." Saji said. "But as her servant I won't let you harm her! Balance Break!"
"Malebolge Vritra Promotion!"
"Hey Kenshin, why aren't you protecting Sona? Is it because these girls are important to you?" Saji asked.
"Saji, it's because he knew them in the past. He was their teacher." Sona said.
"Yeah...While you have permission to, I'd rather not see these girls hurt. How are Ruruko and Momo doing anyway?" Kenshin asked.
"They're doing fine. That's why I broke off." Saji said. "I understand though Kenshin, you used to teach these girls. You care about them."
"Please don't hesitate to hit me. My will isn't my own after all...and neither are my demons." Zazie said as several masked demons rushed toward Saji.
Saji smirked behind his helmet and attacked the demons, destroying them with one hit before rushing Zazie herself.
"Sorry...but...they restore quickly." Zazie said as one of her demons regenerated and blocked Saji's attacks.
"Damn!" Saji said as he leaped back.
"You have my permission." Kenshin said. "They can take it, hell drain them to exhaustion with Vritra's power. Just don't kill them."
"Alright." Saji said with a smile behind his helmet. "You got it, but still, why aren't you protecting Sona-Kaichou?"
"I have been, I was taking out the shadow demons alongside her, but mostly I'm trying to pull out the Demigod State. Sona can take care of herself." Kenshin said. "Zazie caught her off guard."
"OK, I was just wondering, I mean she is my master after all." Saji said.
"Understandable." Kenshin said. "You look up to her. I don't blame you for worrying."
Sona smiled at the interaction between Saji and Kenshin. Saji for being concerned for her safety as her Pawn and Kenshin for affirming that she could handle herself.
"Alright." Saji said before pointing to his left. "Let's go over there. If Kenshin's trying to draw out his max power we shouldn't disturb him and I'd rather my master not get caught in the crossfire."
"Very well." Zazie said as the two disappeared.
"Hrm? !" Sona said as a pink ribbon shot by her face, cutting her cheek.
"Hahaha~!" A pink haired girl wearing a tight one piece appeared in front of her. "Hiya! I'm Sasaki Makie, I'm the lead gymnast of my school!"
"Hmn." Sona smiled confidently. "I'm Sona Sitri. I'm the Student Body President of my school."
"Eeeh? ! Wow, you must be talented in keeping people in line." Makie said.
"Well, it's gotten a bit harder since your former teacher enrolled at my school." Sona said glancing away with a small smile and very faint blush.
"Gee sorry Sona. I didn't know I was causing such trouble for you." Kenshin said.
"Oh Kenshin I'm just commenting on my position, it's nothing against you." Sona said waving him off.
"Well, if you say so." Kenshin said.
Sona smiled but soon frowned as a ball appeared under Makie's foot, which kicked forward. "Hrmn!" Sona created a water barrier to block. After it collided with the barrier, it veered course and went around the barrier and struck Sona in the ribs. "Gaaah!"
"H-Hehehe, sorry Sona-Chan." Makie said with a sheepish smile. "I can't really control myself."
"I know...don't worry." Sona said as she got back up, her mana welling.
Makie smirked as a figure appeared behind Sona, who suddenly felt a mermaid tail slap against her body. "Thanks Akira!" Makie said.
"Makie, Akira...you got drawn into this too?" Kenshin asked.
"Yes...sadly." Akira, a dark haired girl with a moderately sized bust said, wearing nothing but a seashell bra while her artifact produced pink mermaid tail flapped in the wind.
"Don't worry about me Kenshin." Sona said with a confident smile. "I can handle these two."
"Remember our training together." Kenshin said. "In the panic of what's been going on, you've not been using it."
"..." Sona closed her eyes and took a breath to calm herself. Her body tilted out of the way as Makie's ribbon shot by her torso. She leaped and backflipped as Akira's mermaid tail tried to smack her, she sent water serpents at them both prompting them to dodge "Haa...Kenshin was right...I'd had been ignoring polishing my Serene Mind. Thankfully it doesn't seem to have much rust on it." Sona said with a smirk.
"Aaaahh!" A figure shot by, dumping something into Makie's and Akira's hands.
"Who was...?" Sona said with a curious look.
"That was one of our classmates. Misora Kasuga. Her artifact allows her to run with amazing speed...and even along walls." Akira said with a sweatdrop. "She dropped healing items into our hands."
"I see." Sona said. "Well lets go!" She said.
"Yes!" Makie and Akira both yelled.
Kenshin looked up, seeing Albireo, Luka, Evangeline, Sairaorg and Kiba battling Ialda. "So you decided to battle her eh brother?" Kenshin thought before smiling. "You have my respect. Just protect yourself. The others can protect themselves." Kenshin thought.

"Haaaaa!" Luka stabbed at Ialda who dodged and batted him downward.
"Damn you!" Kiba said slashing Ialda down the right.
"Gaaah." Ialda scowled and batted Kiba away. "Hrrghh!" Ialda growled.
"Grrrhhh!" Sairaorg punched Ialda in the small of her back.
"Nnnghhh!" Ialda grunted as she was sent flying away.
"Where you going? !" Luka said appearing behind her. Ialda slashed downward with her staff, only to have it cut in half. "You idiot! Don't you remember that this sword cancels magic? !"
"Very well, then I'll just attack the wielder." Ialda said extending her hand toward Luka.
"Actually no, you won't." Ialda was blasted away by a white, cold wind. Evangeline appeared next to Luka. "So it doesn't matter how fatal the blow, until we exhaust the souls, she won't die?"
"That's basically the gist of what Entheofushia told me." Luka said
"Hrm...I see." Evangeline said.
Ialda rose back up into the sky and looked around. "You all are getting on my nerves."
"Good!" Luka said pointing at Ialda with the Hama no Tsurugi.
"Get used to it Ialda. No one here is going to fight you alone." Evangeline said with a scowl. "Like he said a team effort is needed to beat you."
"Hrmn!" Albireo extended his hands outward, healing Kiba and Sairaorg.
"Haa...thanks Albireo-San." Kiba said.
"Likewise." Sairaorg said.
"You're welcome, but Kiba-San you should take it easy with that sword, the Garm was it?" Albireo said. "It's curse is trying to take hold."
"I know...I'll be able to handle it. I have to be." Kiba said readying himself.
"..." Albireo approached Sairaorg. "If he looks like he's losing control, incapacitate him and get him out of here." He whispered.
"Yes." Sairaorg nodded back. "The Garm bears a heavy curse..."
"Hrrrmmm!" Ialda growled as Kiba, Evangeline and Sairaorg all charged in. The black strands of her mantle shot forward. Kiba slashed it apart. Sairaorg punched it away and Evangeline used a barrier to deflect it before casting Ensis Exsequenes. Kiba's and Evangeline's swords stabbed into Ialda's body before Sairaorg's fist slammed into her face, sending her backward. Luka appeared above her, with a black sphere cast by Albireo, greatly increasing his weight.
"Heavenly Demon Revival!" Luka roared, cleaving Ialda down the right, sending her to the ground.
"Heh." Luka smirked. "Thanks Uncle." He said pumping his fist.
"You're welcome but pay attention. The fact that you know how to kill her might make her desperate." Albireo said.
"I know." Luka said before turning to Evangeline, Sairaorg and Kiba. "I don't know if I can afford to keep you three safe, so be careful!"
"Hah! Worry about yourself!" Evangeline balked.
"Don't worry about me, I can handle myself." Sairaorg said.
"I'll be fine." Kiba grunted.
"Yeah, because getting surprise attacked in Auros totally means you can handle yourself." Luka said with an eyeroll making Sairaorg frown.
"That was a total surprise, not even Kenshin could have predicted it." Sairaorg said.
"Hrmn, whatever." Luka said.
A spire of power exploded upward as Ialda rose from the ground. She glared at the five of them. "If you're trying to get me to take this more seriously. You've succeeded."
"Heh!" Luka smirked and slashed the Hama no Tsurugi outward. "Be a nice change of pace you hyper possessive cunt."
"Hmhmhmhm." Ialda chuckled softly. "As you wish, Luka Tsuki Kuroshi." Ialda pointed her staff at the five of them, and a massive burst of mana shot out at them.
"? !" Luka raised the Hama no Tsurugi to defend while Evangeline, Albireo, Kiba and Sairaorg all prepared themselves.
"Oh my." Ialda said after her attack had ended. "Seems I took out Albireo and that Lion devil."
"? !" Luka looked back to see Sairaorg barely floating while Albireo was panting heavily with numerous wounds. "Shit! I forgot that Sairaorg doesn't really have any demonic power so he doesn't really have defensive magic!" Luka raised his voice. "Uncle! Take Sairaorg and go heal him! We'll cover you!"
"R-Right!" Albireo said going toward Sairaorg whose armor had crumbled apart. "Let me help you."
"D-Damn it..." Sairaorg growled weakly.
"You're incredibly strong, but lack defense...maybe you should work on that." Albireo said.
"You're right...I always relied on my body to make it through the fight...but I do need to work on my defense." Sairaorg said. "If my armor and aura get overwhelmed I've got nothing to fall back on."
"You're gonna pay for that you bitch!" Luka growled.
"Am I? Well, let's see you make me." Ialda smirked as she fired another blast at them.
"Haa!" It was knocked away by both Yukari and Miyuki, both who were in the Vessel of the Elements.
"Hey, forget me for a moment, Kenshin mentioned Miyuki's arm was severely injured." Sairaorg said. "I'll be fine."
"Right." Albireo nodded and appeared behind Miyuki.
"Eh? Albireo?" Miyuki said before he lifted her injured arm. "Nngh!"
"Oh my you must have used your father's imperfect attack. Here." Albireo said as he healed her arm. "There you go. I've even restored your mana network to what it was."
"Hmn!" Miyuki smiled widely. "Thanks Albireo!"
"You're very much welcome my dear niece, now if you'll excuse me." Albireo said as he went back to heal Sairaorg.
"Niece?" Miyuki said tilting her head curiously.
"Dad considered him as a brother, so Albireo considered us as his nephew and nieces." Yukari said.
"Hrm." Ialda glowered at the two.
"Heh, your two former servants are about to kick your ass." Yukari said with a smirk.
"Yeah we are." Miyuki said clenching her fists with a smirk of her own.
"Hey be careful, she's concentrating her power now." Luka said only to be smacked by Yukari. "What was that for? !"
"That was for humiliating me in Lilith and making Kenshin and Rias fight each other!" Yukari snapped.
"I'm sorry! I was working the long con on Forbesii and Kenshin, Rias and Sona were in no real danger!" Luka snapped back. "And I didn't want to humiliate you, but I had to look convincing!"
"Well...fine." Yukari huffed. "How are you here anyway?"
"Kenshin cracked his soul in half." Luka said.
Miyuki let out a sigh. "Onii-Chan you reckless idiot."
"Well..." Luka sweatdropped. "He had to do it, Ialda was going to crush our soul otherwise."
"I see..." Yukari glowered.
"Well, if that's the case I get it." Miyuki said with an uneasy laugh.
"Alright, the plan here is to keep dealing damage to her. Like I told the others, she has the power of three billion souls. We need to exhaust that, then kill her. Then I can end the Resonance with this." Luka said holding up the Hama no Tsurugi.
"Alright." Yukari nodded. "Miyuki, you ready?"
"Oh you know I am Onee-Chan." Miyuki said as the three of them joined the fray with Evangeline and Kiba.
Everyone blocked strands of her attacking mantle. "Aaaggh!" Miyuki said receiving gashes on her arms.
"Haaaa!" Yukari yelled out, blasting Ialda with Hellfire Flash.
"Nivis Tempestas Obscurans!" Evangeline shouted blasting Ialda with a dark blizzard.
"Haaaaaaaaa!" Kiba roared cutting the strands to pieces.
"No chance...YOU HAVE NO CHANCE!" Ialda roared, blasting them all back with a roar of mana.
"? !" All their eyes widened. Kiba held his Garm defensively as Ialda appeared in front of him, swinging her staff down at him. "Nnnghh!"
"You devil. You wish to save Kenshin from his past...heheh, I'm not just his past...I'm his present and inevitable future!" Ialda said.
"Grrhhh!" Kiba growled. "What...right did you have to make him suffer? !"
"He's in my world. He's mine! Your leader Lucifer had no right to take him from me!" Ialda said.
"Haaaa!" Yukari and Miyuki batted Ialda to the side.
"Hrmn!" Ialda sent a blast of her mana their way.
"Grrrhhh!" Yukari and Miyuki powered through it with the power of the Vessel of the Elements.
"! !" Ialda's eyes widened as the two appeared in front of her.
"Kazekiri!" Yukari shouted out slashed Ialda down the left.
"Thunderous Dragon Fist!" Miyuki yelled out punching Ialda in the chest with a fist covered in red lightning shaped like the head of a dragon.
"Aaaahhhh!" Ialda cried out as she was sent downward.
"Hrmn!" Evangeline growled as she blasted Ialda's location with thousands of ice natured magic arrows.
"You're not the only ones who want that bitch killed." Evangeline said.
"We know." Yukari said. "Luka is there anyway of knowing how much we have left?"
"I'm sorry but no. We just have to keep pounding at the wall until it breaks." Luka said. "Furthermore, if I die, Kenshin dies with me."
"? !" Yukari and Miyuki's eyes widen at this.
"I thought you should know." Luka said with his eyes closed. "Better now than when I get struck down."
"You won't get struck down." Yukari said.
"We'll make sure of that." Miyuki said.
Ialda rose back up with a scowl. "You all really believe you can defeat me, and provide an ending which can satisfy everyone." Ialda said.
"I don't know about that second one, but we certainly believe we can beat you!" Evangeline said.
"Well! Let's see it!" Ialda shouted sending a massive rush of her bladed mantle at them.
"Haaaaa!" A pair of voices shouted out, stabbing light spears into Ialda's back, causing her attack to short out.
"Krrhh." Ialda growled.
"Irina? ! Raynare? !" Miyuki said.
"Hey." Raynare said with a smile.
"You think we'd miss this action?" Irina said with a wink.
"..." Ialda scowled as she now faced seven opponents. "None of these fools stand a chance against me as I am now...alone." She thought. "Haaaaaaaaaa!" She roared out sending an absolutely massive burst of mana toward them after she rose back up into the sky.
"Grrrhhh!" Luka, Miyuki and Yukari formed a defensive barrier together, which Raynare and Irina got behind, but Evangeline and Kiba weren't so lucky.
"A-Aaaahhh, this attack was holy in nature." Evangeline said, her body twitching.
"D-Damn it..." Kiba growled as he cast the Garm away. "I'm sorry...Kenshin-kun." He said as he dropped to the ground.
Despite her wounds Evangeline rushed over and caught him. "You're gonna...be OK." Evangeline said with an exhausted tone as she flew Kiba to Albireo.
"Evangeline? !" Albireo said.
"Shut up. Just heal him. I'll...be fine." Evangeline said as she collapsed.
"Damn it." Raynare cursed.
"You really thought you could defeat all the power of the souls inside of me?" Ialda said as she appeared in front of them.
"You bitch." Yukari growled.
"Calm down. As long as we keep her attention on us, they're in no danger. I'm mad too, but focus." Luka said before filling Irina and Raynare on what to do.
"So we just need to keep attacking her?" Irina asked.
"Sounds simple enough." Raynare commented.
"You'd think, but remember to protect yourselves out there. Kenshin and I don't want anyone biting it." Luka said.
"Thanks for the concern, but we can handle ourselves." Raynare said.
"Really, because your performance when Kenshin was severely underpowered when he got to your world says otherwise." Luka said.
"I'm stronger now damn it!" Raynare snapped.
"Relax BDSM Angel. I'm just teasing." Luka said.
Raynare pauses and looks down at her Fallen Angel outfit. "I mean...I guess I like that nickname over Stripper Angel."
"Yeah Yeah, anyway, focus." Yukari said.
A white aura washed over Ialda who smirked confidently. "You all really think you can beat me. How adorable."
"You're damn right we are!" Miyuki shouts. "You're done controlling ours and Onii-Chan's life!"
"Hmhm..." Ialda said as she raised her hand. "That's where you're WRONG!"
Everyone's eyes widened as Ialda shot out a beam of white hot fire. Yukari and Miyuki realized it was the Blazing Heat in the Sky spell. "Put up barriers now!" Yukari said.
"Hrmmmmnn!" Yukari, Miyuki, Luka, Irina and Raynare all put up barriers that thankfully stood against Ialda's spell.
Raynare surged forward and stabbed her red light spear at Ialda who blocked with her staff. "Ghh?"
"Hmhm." Ialda smirked.
"Haaa!" Irina launched a spear at her only to be sliced to nothing by her mantle. "What?"
"You might as well attack her directly!" Yukari said appearing behind Ialda slashing down at her. "Heavenly Demon Revival!"
"Guah!" Ialda gasped out as she was slashed down the back, but smirked as a burst of red flame shot out of her back and pegged Yukari in the stomach.
"Gah!" Yukari was blown backward, but smirked as Miyuki appeared in front of Ialda flanked by Irina and Raynare.
"Thunderous Dragon Fists!" Miyuki yelled out, slamming both her lightning covered fists into Ialda, making her double over.
"Haaaa!" Irina and Raynare stabbed a light sword and a light spear into her shoulders.
"Haaaaa!" Irina, Raynare and Miyuki all roared as they drove Ialda back.
"G-Grrrhhh!" Ialda growled as the blade and spear dug into her body.
"I'm not great because I basically toyed with Issei's life so that I'd survive, but you're the absolute worst!" Raynare shouted. "How many years did they suffer before they got free? !"
"You deserve the highest punishment Heaven has to offer!" Irina said.
"Like I said you're DONE fucking with us!" Miyuki yelled.
"Haaaaaaaa! !" Ialda roared out, blowing all three of them backward, while her wounds healed.
"!" Irina's, Raynare's and Miyuki's eyes widen as they were sent backward. "? !" Miyuki's eyes widened, extending her hands outward, blowing the two Angels away from her with a burst of wind as a group of strands of Ialda's mantle stabbed into her.
"Miyuki-Chan!" Irina shouted.
"W-Why would you take a hit for me of all people? !" Raynare yelled.
"Heh...Irina you're one of my friends...and Raynare...you're actually pretty nice once I got to know you." Miyuki said as she covered her stomach. "Hrrrrgghh!" She growled as her wounds healed. "Don't worry about me. My training with that crazy bitch Dana actually boosted my regeneration quite a bit."
"Hmhmhm, you're as nuts as your brother." Irina giggled.
"Thanks for that." Raynare said patting Miyuki on the back. "But don't be afraid to rely on us for defense OK?"
"Hmn." Miyuki smiled. "I'll keep that in mind. Seriously though Raynare, if all parties involved have forgiven you, then just forgive yourself."
"Actually. There's no problem there." Raynare said with a wide smile. "The mega perv and I already did it before we got here."
"I see, well that's good." Miyuki said patting her on the back with a smile.
Ialda narrowed her eyes at this. "Is Luka betting everything on Kenshin's friends sustainability?" She thought. "The souls aren't healing very fast. I guess Entheofushia told him everything. Good thing they're so numerous...!"
Ialda's eyes widened as Luka appeared in front of her. "Eat This!" Luka shouted, slashing Ialda down the middle.
"? !" Yukari, Miyuki, Irina and Raynare's eyes widened as Luka split Ialda in half.
"Wh-What the? !" Yukari said.
"With one strike? !" Raynare asked.
"Holy shit!" Miyuki cursed.
"W-Wow!" Irina said.
Luka turned to them. "Don't just gawk fucking attack her!"
"R-Right!" Everyone said launching Katenshos, Elemental Spicas and light weapons into Ialda.
"G...Grrrrhh." Ialda growled as these attacks slammed into her, blowing her back as her body regenerated.
"See what I mean." Luka said.
"Wow you weren't kidding." Raynare said. "Her regeneration is even better than Kenshin's."
"Yeah I know." Yukari grunted.
"Get ready!" Miyuki shouted.
"Ten Thousand Magic Arrows of Darkness!" Ialda roared
"Haa!" Irina and Raynare threw their light weapons into the swarm while Miyuki, Yukari and Luka all launched Katenshos at the barrage.
"Gah!" Luka grunted as one stabbed into his left arm.
"Hey!" Yukari said.
"Don't worry about me I'm fine!" Luka said flexing his left arm, healing the wound with his regeneration.
"You know I prioritized Evangeline and that Lion armored brat because they were big threats, but the rest of you...not so much." Ialda said floating forward.
"Hrmn!" Yukari and Miyuki both growled in anger and rushed Ialda, Miyuki's fist burying itself in Ialda's chest.
"Gruagh!" Ialda growled, sending her mantle's strands at the two.
"Oh no you don't!" Luka said appearing in front of them, a white aura wrapped around the Hama no Tsurugi which he slashed outward, destroying the strands with anti magic.
"Hey." Ialda turned to find Raynare and Irina behind her. "We're taking your back." Raynare said as they both stabbed their spear and sword into Ialda's back.
"Grah!" Ialda growled. "Heh!" She smirked as she extended her hands backward.
"? !" Raynare and Irina both took their weapons out of Ialda's back and moved in front of her.
"Hey? ! Raynare, Irina! What are you doing? !" Yukari said.
"I-I can't move!" Irina said.
"No...I...I can't either." Raynare said.
"Hmhmhm." Ialda smirked. "Thanks for the extra help, letting have a couple of extra puppets. Now. Attack!"
"A-Aaah!" Irina and Raynare cried out as they were sent toward Yukari and Miyuki.
"Shit! She's controlling them! Miyuki take Raynare, I'll handle Irina!" Yukari said.
"Damn it!" Luka cursed as he rushed Ialda himself.
"See how impossible it is to defeat me?" Ialda said with a calm smile as she dodged his slash. "The puppets cannot defy the Puppet Master after all."
"Grrhh!" Yukari growled as she blocked Irina's sword with Kazeken.
"I-I'm so sorry Yukari!" Irina said with tears in her eyes.
"I know, I'm sorry too!" Yukari said pointing Ryuuga at Irina. "Hellfire Flash!"
Irina was blown backward, but revealed to be lightly damaged from the attack. "..." Irina looked down at Yukari regretfully. "She's too strong."
"I know Irina." Yukari said. "I know first hand how strong Ialda's possession is. Come on, I'll try to knock you out." Yukari said.
"R-Right!" Irina said being forced forward by Ialda's magic.
"Krh!" Miyuki growled as she traded spear stabs with Raynare with her own spear made of youki.
"I'm sorry...her mana is...so oppressive." Raynare said.
"I know Raynare. I've been controlled by her before. I'm sorry for how rough I'm about to get." Miyuki said.
"It's OK...please don't let me be Issei's enemy again." Raynare said.
"Hrrrhh!" Miyuki's fist slammed into Raynare's face who recoiled in pain, but built a stronger spear of red light out of her mana. Miyuki glowered at this and took off after her, weaving out of the way of Raynare's spear with the elements surrounding her fist. "Elemental Spica!"
"Guoh!" Raynare collapsed against Miyuki's arm and smiled. "Th...Thank you..." She said before passing out.
Miyuki caught her and carried her down to where Albireo was. "She doesn't need healing but I just wanted to bring her to somewhere safe."
"I understand, go!" Albireo said.
Luka and Ialda dueled in the sky, but it was obvious that Ialda was just toying with him. "Damn you!"
"Hahahahahaha." Ialda chuckled. "Boy, do you really believe you can defeat me?"
"Haaaa!"
Luka's eyes widened as a bolt of white lightning struck Ialda.
"Take this!"
"!" Luka's eyes widened further as blue flames slammed into Ialda. He looked to his left and right seeing Akeno and Koneko. "Hey, I thought Rias told yo-"
"We're also aware of the disadvantage of being a half soul, we won't leave you alone!" Akeno said
Luka paused before smiling. "Thanks. I'm counting on you two."
"Right!" Akeno and Koneko shouted.
"You two again?" Ialda said extending her hand toward them.
"!" Akeno's eyes widened as the strands of Ialda's bladed mantle shot forward. "Haaaa!" She said blasting it with lightning.
"!" Ialda's eyes widened as Luka and Koneko shot forward, their fists cocked back. Luka smiled and placed his free hand on Koneko's shoulder.
"Hu-Huh?" Koneko said.
"I just gave you the power of the elements channel them like I'm doing." Luka said.
"Alright!" Koneko said letting out a blistering barrage out on Ialda's barrage.
"Graaaahh!" Luka shouted as he cut apart his share of the strands.
"Together!" Luka said rocketing toward Ialda with Koneko.
"Haaaaa!" Akeno shouted out.
Ialda growled as she was cut down the middle, punched in the stomach and sent rocketing away as Holy Lightning struck her.
"Haa...I know what I did to your master, but I'm sorry." Luka said.
"According to Kenshin-kun you were conning the Demon King, so the only thing we're upset over is the fact that you made Kenshin and Rias fight each other." Akeno said.
"Yeah, that's like a big regret of mine, but they weren't in any danger. I knew Kenshin wouldn't do anything lethal to her." Luka said.
"Well, as long as you regret it." Koneko said as she watched Ialda fly in.
"You foolish children! I'll put you under my control too!" Ialda said before being punched to the side. She looked over and saw Miyuki. "Was that Fallen Angel that weak?"
"Not at all. I just put the things Onii-Chan taught me into practice. Onee-Chan's just having a harder time doing so." Miyuki smirked before turning to Luka, Akeno, and Koneko. "Oh hey Koneko! Wanna give this bitch a double Rook beatdown."
"..." Koneko's fists clenched and she smirked. "Gladly."
Luka turned to Akeno, putting the Hama no Tsurugi on his back. "Well then, while those two beat on her, you wanna work long range with me babe?"
Akeno grabbed her cheek with a blush and giggled. "I know you only look like Kenshin-kun and are half his soul, but it sounds nice to hear something like that from you...ufufufu."
"Yeah Yeah alright get out of the 'Ara Ara' zone, it's bad enough when Alma gets into it." Luka sweatdropped.
Just as Miyuki and Koneko launched Ialda away she was blasted by Holy Lightning and the Blazing Heat in the Sky spell. "Ha! We got her!" Miyuki said.
A communication circle appeared next to her ear. "Stay focused Miyuki." Luka advised.
"Yeah I know." Miyuki said as Ialda came flying back at them.
"Krrhh!" Ialda growled. "Thousand Thunderbolts!"
"Haaa!" Akeno shouted out, combating the attack as best she could.
"Haaaaaaaaa!" Koneko cried out, punching lightning bolts away with her fists
A trio of figures tackled them all out of the spell, dispelling immediately. Miyuki, Koneko and Akeno saw a trio of Luka clones dispelling.
Luka rushed Ialda and slashed down at her with the Hama no Tsurugi. "You really are a bitch you know that?" Luka said.
"Hrmn..." Ialda blocked, pulling out a physical short sword.
"..." Luka growled, before smirking. "You know, I myself am actually grateful to you." He said.
"Hn?" Ialda grunted.
Watching from Lucifer's Castle Venerana narrowed her eyes curiously. "He's grateful to her?"
"After all because you killed Kenshin and I when we were ten...at least one of us got to know a life without conflict." Luka said. "For a time anyway."
"Oh? Are you gonna preach to me too?" Ialda said with a grunt.
"Hmn, not at all." Luka said. "I just wanted to say one thing... one more thing that makes you an irredeemable cunt...and that is...that thoughts of suicide should never pass through the mind of an eight year old kid." He said with a bitter smirk.
"Thoughts of..." Venerana paused from her vantage point in Lucifer's Castle. "Sirzechs...Kenshin didn't try to kill himself as a child...did he?"
Millicas looked at his father as well. Sirzechs sighed with a regretful gaze. "It's one of the big reasons I wish I could have acted sooner...but yes. When Kenshin was eight years old. He stabbed himself four times in the heart. It's only thanks to his sisters that he's still alive."
Venerana gasped while Zeoticus closed his eyes, his head bowing forward. "He's telling the truth." Serafall said with her eyes closed. "I saw the memory first hand."
"Hmn." Ialda smirked. "I knew you two were weak, but taking your life a year and a half in?"
"What can we say?" Luka asked. "Not all of us have the resilience you have." Luka said before launching Ialda backward with a Katensho.
"Come on Luka! You can't hope to defeat all that I am alone!" Ialda said with a smirk as she flew toward him. "You're not strong enough! You got the right weapon sure, but severely lack the strength!"
"Well, it's a good thing...that I ain't alone." Luka said as a white blur flew over his head.
"Krh!" Ialda was knocked back by blue flames, punched back by a fist of red lightning before being struck by white lightning.
"Thanks, I was about to be a real bind there." Luka said with a grin.
"Question. Why don't you go rejoin with Senpai and come out here with him?" Koneko asked.
"I would, but he's trying something. I can feel it affecting me too." Luka said. "You may not be able to tell but I am slowly getting stronger."
"I see, should we go and help keep him safe?" Miyuki asked.
"One of you can go if you want, but he has Rias and Sona there." Luka said.
"Hrmn." Koneko nodded. "I'll go. Both Senpais need to be kept safe and Akeno-Senpai is stronger than me as the Queen."
Koneko began flying away but black tendrils started shooting toward her. Luka flew behind her and slashed them away. "? !" Koneko glanced back at him with wide eyes.
"Ialda tried to get the drop on you. Also since you're leaving I'll be taking my power back." Luka said. Koneko nodded and returned the elemental power back to him, knowing he likely needed it.
"Good luck." Koneko said as she flew away.
Luka rejoined Miyuki and Akeno as Ialda was revealed to be scuffed up from their attacks, but relatively unharmed. "You know, this is actually pretty fun." Ialda laughed. "One last futile resistance, before I make everything go silent for good."
"That's what you think." Miyuki said clenching her fists.
"You won't live to see tomorrow." Akeno said scowling with holy lightning crackling between her hands.
"After all...it's time Karma bit you in the ass for once." Luka said holding the Hama no Tsurugi at the ready.
Meanwhile back with Yukari and Irina. The two were locked in a duel. "Ghhh...wow Irina...you really got strong." Yukari said.
"Th-Thanks, but it's...nngh...not all me." Irina said.
"I know." Yukari said slashing her backward. "Seems Miyuki already took care of Raynare."
"Then why are you having such a problem with me?" Irina asked as she rushed forward, stabbing her light sword at Yukari, forcing her to evade.
"Well, I'm not trying to kill you, just knock you out." Yukari said with a small, determined glare. "Trust me, if I was going for the kill you'd stand no chance. It's tougher to not go for the kill when you're using swords, using the blunt end aside."
"Hahahaha." Irina laughed nervously. "Thanks for the kindness."
"Still, I'm amazed at how strong you got, even with Ialda's influence. Did you get another level up from Heaven?" Yukari said as they dueled across the sky.
"No, we've just never sparred like this before. Of course it's a surprise." Irina said with a winking smile.
"True...but still..." Yukari said before batting Irina's light sword to the side before burying her fist into her stomach, which still held Ryuuga, which released a burst of heat into Irina's body, before Yukari dropped her right elbow onto Irina's neck before wrapping her arm around the angel as she passed out. "Sorry. I just saw the opportunity." Yukari said. "We'll have a proper duel in the future." She flashed toward Albireo. "She doesn't need healing." Albireo nodded as he put up a barrier.
"How...close am I to getting back in there?" Sairaorg asked.
"You're close, but I wouldn't..."
"I'm not scared of her." Sairaorg cut Albireo off.
"..." Albireo went silent for a moment. "You should be."
"No...I'm not a coward." Sairaorg said. "I know you're not either, but I refuse to back down from this."
"..." Albireo paused before smiling. "I see. Well if it's that important to you."
"Thank you...after all...I can't lose such a splendid opponent and friend like Kenshin. I'd still have the Sekiryuutei sure, but without Kenshin around now, I would be left wanting." Sairaorg said. "Are you still capable Regulus?"
"I'll be fine Lord Sairaorg. Please make use of me when you're healed!" Regulus said.
"Yes!" Sairaorg said.
Just as well Ryuushin and Hikari were blasting shadow demons away. "Heh, it's like we've never lost a single step!" Ryuushin said with a smirk.
"Well, you remember what we used to do, and I developed techniques to adapt to that!" Hikari said.
"Haha! I see." Ryuushin said before slashing apart a mana blast aimed at Hikari's back.
"Haa! Thanks!" Hikari said with a smile before taking Ryuushin's back.
"You know it's OK." Ryuushin said with a smile.
"Huh?" Hikari said.
The two dived into the fray for a bit before rejoining. "Hikari, I'm gone in this world after today I return to the afterlife...it's OK."
"!" Hikari bowed her head. "...I still love you." Hikari said with a conflicted gaze.
"I know...I will always love you too Hikari, but...I want you to be happy...and I've seen you interact with that Fallen Angel guy Azazel very positively. Maybe you're not ready, but just know I'm OK with it, Be happy."
Hikari smiled sadly before turning Ryuushin around and kissing him deeply. "Thank you..." She smiled.
"You're welcome, now, the demons are coming!" Ryuushin said.
"Haaaa!" Hikari roared as she turned and obliterated her shadow demons with green fire. "Haa!" She said exhaling green fire before rushing the shadow demons rushing around Ryuushin, slicing and burning them apart.
"Wow!" Ryuushin said in amazement. "You go girl!"
"Heh!" Hikari smirked. "Come on, let's go help our half son!"
"Our half son?" Ryuushin said curiously.
"Kenshin was forced to split his soul in half like he did when he was ten. He has Miyuki, Akeno and Kenshin's half soul Luka helping him, but if Luka dies, Kenshin dies too."
"Hrmn!" Ryuushin growls. "I won't let that happen!" The two take off, but the shadow demons they were fighting gave chase. Suddenly an array of spells blasted the hordes pushing them back. The two looked over and saw Rossweisse.
"Go on! I'll handle these!" Rossweisse said.
"Thanks Rossweisse." Hikari said with Ryuushin nodded and took off.
Rossweisse nodded and looked toward the shadow demons only to gasp as it looked as though they were converging on each other. It created a fifteen meter high demon who glared down at Rossweisse.
However the Valkyrie was undaunted and even smirked a bit. "This should be a good test."
With Hikari and Ryuushin Hikari looked over at her brother/husband. "Our little boy became quite the ladies man huh?"
"Haha, yeah...though a small part of me is disappointed." Ryuushin said.
"Huh? Why? Isn't it alright if Ken-Chan is happy?" Hikari said.
"I told a few of them this, including that white haired lady, but...I dunno. I like the charm of being able to say you love one woman with everything you are." Ryuushin said with a smile.
"!" Hikari's eyes widened with a blush...but she soon smiled and looked on ahead. "Don't worry. Ken-Chan's been forced on this path so long, he's probably been saving his love up. He'll be able to handle it."
"I hope so. I don't want my son to be someone who just breaks ladies' hearts." Ryuushin said.
"No no! You and later we raised him too well for that!" Hikari laughed.
"Heh." Ryuushin said.
Meanwhile, as they were heading in. Miyuki, Akeno and Luka were still dueling Ialda.
Ialda was knocked back and held her staff outward. "I respect your determination to save him if nothing else, but it's impossible. Kenshin belongs to me as a denizen of this world."
"NO! He doesn't!" Akeno said blasting Ialda with holy lightning.
"Akeno, cal-" Luka said.
"NO!" Akeno shouted, scowling at the cloud of smoke she'd left. "Who the hell is she to decide yours and Kenshin's fates? ! I want that bitch to stop running her mouth!"
"Well that's too bad..." Tendrils of darkness rushed out of the cloud of smoke, rushing toward Akeno.
"Haaaaa!" Miyuki appeared in front of Akeno and punched the tendrils away. "Akeno, I get what you mean. I'm angry at the bitch too, but we can't lose our heads."
"I know..." Akeno said scowling up at Ialda. "But...Kenshin-kun was the one to heal my heart after it'd been hurting for so long...I have to help heal his! The only way to do that is to beat her!"
"..." Miyuki smiled. "Same here, but still, ya gotta focus."
"I know." Akeno nodded. "!" Both their eyes widened as Luka rushed by them.
"Ialda, you're mine!" Luka shouted.
"Heheh." Ialda said as she stabbed her mantle's strands at him. "!"
Her eyes widened as Luka dodged each and every one, before Luka slammed his elbow against her ribcage. "Guah? !" She cried out.
"Hrmn!" Luka growled as he swung his leg into her left hip. She thrust her staff at Luka's head only for Luka to grab her arm and drive both his elbow and his knee into her elbow.
"Aagh!" Ialda flew back and worked her arm, trying to get feeling back into it. Luka looked up at Miyuki and Akeno.
"What are you two doing? ! Attack her!" Luka said.
"Oh! Right!" Miyuki rushed forward, slamming her fist into Ialda's stomach sending her flying back. Ialda caught herself before feeling something on her left shoulder.
"Hey bitch, ya miss me? Eighteenfold Rakshasa!"
"? !" Luka's, Miyuki's and Akeno's eyes widened seeing Yukari on the scene. "Yukari! Onee-Chan!" Akeno, Luka and Miyuki all said.
"Haaaa!" Yukari slashed downward and upward with both her blades. "Double Dragonic Asura!"
"Aaaaaaaagghhhh!" Ialda roared out as she was sent flying away by two swirling, twisting eastern dragons made of fire.
"Irina's fine, I knocked her out." Yukari said.
"Ok good." Luka said with his eyes closed.
"That's good, way to go Yukari-San." Akeno smiled.
"I knew you could do it Onee-Chan." Miyuki said.
"Grrrh..." Ialda growled as she picked herself up off the roof she was blasted onto. "They just keep coming." Ialda thought. "All of Kenshin's friends, loved ones are throwing themselves in front of me to bar my path."
"As long as I have them...I'll never give up hope." Ialda recalled Kenshin saying to her.
A sinister smirk crawled across the LifeMaker's face. "If that's the case...how about I start taking them away?"
The four hung in the air, when a pained gasp was heard. "!" Luka, Yukari and Miyuki all turned to find Akeno who had a hand torn through her lower left flank.
"K-Kulh..." Akeno spat out blood and turned, glaring weakly.
"You asked who I am to decide Kenshin's...half soul or not's fate?" Ialda said smirking sinisterly. "I'm the god of this world foolish girl."
"DAMN YOU!" Luka said charging forward, holding the Hama no Tsurugi at the ready. Ialda held Akeno between them. "!" Luka's slash paused as he looked on with wide eyes.
"Hahaha, I see, you have all of Kenshin's memories and feelings. So how would you react if I did this? !" Ialda began to twist her hand, her wrist digging around inside Akeno.
"A-Aaggh!" Akeno cried out.
"You BITCH! Let her go!" Luka roared.
"Haha, fine...you can have her." Ialda said, thrusting Akeno off her hand, toward Luka who caught her.
"!" Luka looked up wide eyed as Ialda bore down on him.
(clang!)
"!" Luka's eyes widened seeing Ryuushin and Hikari appear in front of him and Akeno.
"Get Akeno out of here and come back!" Hikari shouts.
"R-Right!" Luka said turning and flashing toward Albireo, laying Akeno on her back.
"I know Luka, just go!" Albireo said.
Luka was about to take off but felt a hand grab his wrist. He turned to see Akeno with tears streaming from her eyes. "...!" Luka's eyes widened.
"I...I'm sorry Kenshin-kun...I wasn't able to do enough to help save you from her..." Akeno said looking up at the skies. "Hee...I love you so much...but I...I wasn't able to..."
"..." Luka watched as she passed out with a solemn gaze.
"She'll be OK, she was just exhausted, but that wound needs to be treated." Albireo said. "Sairaorg-kun, I need to focus on her."
"Don't worry about it." Sairaorg said. "Luka, get back up there. Kenshin's not a coward neither should you be."
"Yeah..." Luka said as he jumped up and flew upward. Ryuushin and Yukari were in hot pursuit of Ialda while Hikari and Miyuki both peppered her with spells.
"Ninefold Rakshasa!" Yukari shouted out, carving into Ialda with nine vicious strikes before backflipping off the mana footholds she'd made allowing Ryuushin to go under her.
"Serene Demon Sword!" Ryuushin shouted, bisecting Ialda. Ialda looked up.
"Blazing Heat in the Sky!/ Incendium Gehennae!"
A huge flaming rock was being propelled forward by a beam of white hot fire as it slammed into Ialda. Driving her away before exploding.
"!" The citizens of Megalomesembria paused in their running to see this take place.
"Is that Kuroshi Ryuushin?"
"The Crimson Tigress is here?"
"Why? She must hate our guts after what we did to her son."
"Hey isn't that the same girl that fought Jack Rakan with Nagi Springfield in the Ostia tournament a couple of years ago?"
"The only one I don't recognize is that younger redhead with the two swords."
"Hey!" They looked up to see Issei. "Get moving! It's still dangerous!" He said before punching through a shadow demon's chest.
"R-Right, thank you!"
Issei watched the crowd run away, before suddenly vanishing altogether. "What the?"
Meanwhile in Cyberspace Chisame panted. Only one of her artifact mice left. Chachamaru stared hard at her.
"You can't beat me Chisame-San." Chachamaru said. "I analyzed all of your patterns from our last fight."
"Yeah...in the end I'm just a cosplay nut." Chisame said with a tired smile.
"..." Chachamaru smiled. "I always considered you one of my best friends."
"Eh?" Chisame said.
Chachamaru closed her eyes with a smile. "You, Negi Sensei and Kenshin-Sensei were my closest friends."
"Heh, why didn't you go after Kenshin then?" Chisame asked.
"Because...well...I liked Issei more...and Master..." Chachamaru trailed off.
"Evangeline liked him?" Chisame said with a tired grin. "Haha, I knew that tired old bat of a 'young' vampire would find love sooner or later."
"Are you...dying?" Chachamaru asked in worry.
"Haha. Nah...I'm just tired. Can I count on you to protect my body for me?" Chisame said with a tired smile.
Chachamaru smiled. "Of course. We even have someone who might be able to revive you, as in you'll still be living."
"Oh good...that's a relief." Chisame said as she passed out.
Chachamaru caught her outside of cyberspace and her eyes flashed. "Megalomesembria Evacuation Protocol ACTIVATE!"
All around Megalomesembria citizens started disappearing. "W-Whoa? !" Multiple Devils like Momo, Reya, Issei and Rossweisse said before they suddenly realized.
Issei smirked. "We can go all out now."
Rossweisse smiled. "Well, if there's no innocent people around. I guess I'll let LOOSE!" She said blasting the shadow demon titan in front of her with multiple powerful spells.
Momo looked at Ruruko and smiled. "Ready to go to town."
"Oh you know I am. It's time to show Saji-kun what we can do!" Ruruko said with a smile.
"Ha! You know he likes me more right?" Momo asked as she blasted the shadow demons with her spells.
"Tch! Only because of your knockers!" Ruruko said kicking the shadow demons to pieces with her Sacred Gear. "!" She turned to find more only for them to reflected by Momo's Applause Wall Sacred Gear.
Momo flew up next to her. "I was just teasing." Momo said with a smile. "I'd still love to share Saji-kun with you."
Ruruko smiled widely. "Thank you Momo!" She said embracing Momo tightly.
"Hahaha." Momo smiled and pet her head gently. "Alright. Let's deal with these fuckers first."
Ruruko smiled confidently. "Right!"
Back with Kenshin, Sona, Makie and Akira the three girls paused as people started vanishing. "What's going on?" Akira asked.
"Hmn." Behind Sona, Kenshin smiled. "Seems Chachamaru beat Chisame."
"Eh? ! Didn't Chisame beat her at the festival? !" Makie asked.
"I wouldn't know, I wasn't there for the end of it, but Chachamaru's a meticulous automaton. She probably broke down everything Chisame and her artifact could do." Kenshin said. "I told Chachamaru to activate the Evacuation protocol. All the civilians have been sent to safety bunkers all across the lands of the Confederacy." Kenshin said. "It's a failsafe the Previous Praetor Shinken Areshi fought for in case another war started and it turned dire for the Confederacy. Now us, the Shadow Demons and Ialda are all that are left in Megalomesembria."
"You thought that far ahead?" Akira asked.
"In my former line of work, It was necessary to think ahead." Kenshin said.
"So it's true." Makie said with a solemn look. "You really were an assassin?"
"Yeah." Kenshin said his eyes closed with a smile. "I'm sorry for hiding it from all of you, but it's not something that girls like you back then should have known. If it makes it better...I almost never enjoyed it."
"Almost?" Akira asked.
"There was this guy who killed someone who was like a brother to me. So...I enjoyed the vengeance I reaped on him." Kenshin said. "I know that makes me sound horrible, but it's true."
"No, I think I get it." Makie said.
"Yeah, if someone killed someone who was was like family to me...I'd stop at nothing to see them punished." Akira paused before smilingawkwardly. "I probably would not have had a direct hand in it though."
"Hahaha." Kenshin chuckled. "It's fine Akira. Everyone grieves differently. I just chose the most direct route."
"So...if I can go by what you're saying. I can go all out?" Sona asked.
"Go nuts." Kenshin shrugged still keeping the same pose. "I plan on donating Rikudou's entire 'bank' to Megalo after this to help with the rebuild. I mean I am the last leader after all. I'll just give Ricardo the location of all our caches."
"Wait, you weren't taking us seriously." Akira said before having her mermaid tail grabbed and her body thrown to the ground. "Guuhh!"
"No, she wasn't." Sona looked over to see Koneko. "Luka sent me to help you."
"Aah, so Rias' familiar made it to him." Kenshin said. "Sona, don't worry Luka is trustworthy this time. He was split from my soul after all."
"..." Sona narrowed her eyes as Koneko landed next to her.
"It's OK. This Luka seems as nice as Senpai...and just as fierce." Koneko said.
"Very well then." Sona nodded.

Luka landed on the roof of one of the buildings, looking up as Ryuushin and Yukari battled Ialda up front. He thrust his hands into the roof below him and pulled them back out to reveal two stone gauntlet fists. He leaped upward and flew toward Ialda who had appeared behind Ryuushin and Yukari, Hikari and Miyuki blinded by the spells they had been peppering her with. "Not on my watch!"
"Hmhm, you adorable halfwit Luka. Come at me." Ialda said turning to him as Ryuushin and Yukari dove away from her.
"RRRRGGH!" Luka growled as he punched past her staff which was being held in defense. An explosion of wind rushing out of his right gauntlet, propelling it forward.
"? !" Ialda was surprised at the speed and force of the punch as it hit her square in the chest. She spat out blood as she caught herself. "Grh..." She wiped her mouth and glared at Luka.
"What the hell?" Ryuushin said. "What's that?"
"Something Kenshin came up with. The gauntlets are a little bit bigger than my fists and I can use wind magic to propel myself forward. "It's nice for some last moment speed bursts in my punches." Luka said.
"Huh, neat." Ryuushin said. "You and Kenshin came up with a lot of creative techniques." He said before placing his hand on Luka's shoulder. "I know what you've done, but I have to say, it's nice to meet you, son."
"!" Luka looked away with a wide eyed blush. "Y-Yeah, n-nice to meet you too Dad."
"Heheh, are you embarrassed?" Ryuushin chuckled.
Luka shook his head rapidly. "Come on, we have to focus."
"Right." Ryuushin said as Ialda flew back to them.
"Interesting technique there Luka!" Ialda said. "Using a last second burst of wind magic to rapidly increase the speed of your punch. Something only you and Kenshin could come up with it, being the masochists you are."
"Heh." Luka smirked as Hikari, Miyuki and Yukari joined Ryuushin and him. "We only became like that because of you, but I don't know if you'd exactly call us masochists."
"Well, I should let you know, you've barely done any damage to me since you stepped in." Ialda said with a smirk.
"Heh! I wasn't expecting to!" Luka said. "That's why I got them!" He said gesturing toward his and Kenshin's family.
"Then come on! I'll prove how meaningless your powers are in the face of my Resonance!" Ialda laughed as a dark aura surrounded her.
"Oh please!" Ryuushin appeared in front of her, the dual bladed naginata he was holding held in an iai position. "Nagi and I kicked your ass twenty something years ago, and now my family and I are here to finish the job! Flash Kill!"
"Grrhhh!" Ialda grunted as she was split in half by Ryuushin's slash.
"Now Hikari!" Ryuushin shouted.
"Jade Lioness' Roar!" Hikari shouted, slamming the balls of her hands together, firing a huge conflagration of green flames at Ialda, which engulfed her.
"Aaaaagghhh!" Ialda roared out as her body was heavily burned.
"Mom, you really think you're not a fighter?" Luka said appearing next to her. "That was awesome!" He said raising his hand.
"Hmhmhm. Thank you!" Hikari giggled slapping his hand with her own
"Hahahahaha." Ialda's voice rang throughout the smoke. "Did you really think that would do me in?" Ialda asked.
Luka smirked. "Not in the slightest. I know how much of a tank you are with all those souls. We're just wearing you down. Right Yukari! Miyuki!"
"Yeah!" Yukari dove for Ialda, Kazeken wreathed in the elements.
"Haaaaaaa!" Miyuki roared, her fists covered in the elements.
"Wait, is that? !" Ryuushin said with wide eyes.
"Heh, it sure is Pops." Luka smirked. "Kenshin perfected the Crimson Dragon's Fist and Miyuki learned it from watching us."
"Aah..." Ryuushin said before closing his eyes with a smile. "I'm so proud of you, Kenshin, Luka, Yukari, Miyuki."
"Get her Yukari! Miyuki!" Hikari called out.
"Right! !" Yukari and Miyuki both shout as the latter reached Ialda first.
"Crimson Dragon's Fist! First Strike!" Miyuki said slamming her fist into Ialda's chest, sending her rocketing away.
"G-Ghhh!" Ialda's eyes widened as Miyuki shot by her.
"Second Strike!" Miyuki shouted slamming her fist into Ialda's back.
"Get her Miyuki!" Yukari thought, her eyes full of focus watching Miyuki brutalize Ialda.
"Third Strike!" Miyuki roared, uppercutting Ialda skyward. "THIS IS FOR WHAT YOU DID TO US YOU BITCH!" Miyuki roared angrily.
"Gaaahhhh!" Ialda groaned out.
"FOURTH STRIKE!" Miyuki yelled taking Ialda's left side and slamming her fist into Ialda's ribs.
"Grrhhh!" Ialda spat out blood.
"Onee-Chan! Let's Go!" Miyuki said appearing next to Yukari.
"Right!" Yukari said as they both shot toward Ialda.
"Let me hit first with the final strike!" Miyuki said.
"Go for it! I'll be right behind you!" Yukari said.
"Crimson Dragon's Fist! Final Release! Elemental Spica!" Miyuki cried out, slamming her fist into Ialda's chest. Yukari pursued her as she was sent rocketing away.
"? !" Ialda's eyes widened as Yukari appeared above her.
"Take this you bitch!" Yukari shouted, slashing Kazeken down her left to her right. "Quadruple Giga!"
The power of the four elements compressed in sword form slammed into Ialda. "A-AAaaagghhhh!" She roared out as she was sent flying back.
"Alright!" Miyuki said high fiving Yukari who smirked back.
"That was my first time using that attack seriously...and damn did it feel good." Yukari said before Luka appeared next to them.
"I get that you're amped, but focus." Luka said.
"Right." Yukari and Miyuki nodded.
Luka grunted, holding the Hama no Tsurugi at the ready. "I feel like she's just tanking our attacks to tire us out." Luka said.
"No doubt." Miyuki said raising her fists.
"Yeah, the Quadruple Giga is powerful, but against three billion souls?" Yukari said with narrowed eyes.
"Focus you three, this isn't anywhere close to over." Hikari said.
"Yeah, Ialda is tougher than that." Ryuushin said.
Sure enough Ialda appeared in front of them with an angry smirk. "So that's your secret weapon. Ragnarok's Ultimate Technique. The Quadruple Giga."
"We already know Mom, Dad." Miyuki said.
"Still, we'll fucking kill her for what's she's done to us." Yukari said with a smirk
"..." Ialda glared down at them."I maybe trying to withstand their attacks but I can't afford to take too many of those Quadruple Gigas. Especially if Kenshin gets back into the mix." Ialda thought.
"Ialdddaaaaa!" Ryuushin roared appearing in front of her, slashing his dual blade naginata down at her.
"Grrrhhh!" Ialda growled defending with her staff.
"You're going to PAY for what you did to my family! !" Ryuushin shouted.
"Heheh...what's wrong Ryuushin? Can't handle what happened, ultimately because of you?" Ialda smirked.
"Grrrrhhh!" Ryuushin growled angrily. "Your actions led to my home village being destroyed, your actions led to my children who had traveled time to become murderers...your actions led to THIS!" Ryuushin roared. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THAT! ! !"
"Well stop talking and do something about it!" Ialda said shooting her mantle at him.
Ryuushin hit a brutal counter of Katenshos on Ialda slicing her mantle to bits. "Heh!" Ryuushin smirked as he sent Ialda blasting toward Hikari.
"Grh? !" Ialda grunted, turning her head toward Hikari, who seemed to be absorbing two Incendium Gehennae spells, the aura around her turning jade in response.
"Magia Erebia! Duplex Complexio! Incendium Gehennnae! Equip Armament! Jade Tiger Empress!"
"I won't either! How dare you make my children suffer!" Hikari said, her body being enveloped by green fire, forming lion like limbs on her arms and legs. "Grrrhhh! !" She went into a ruthless barrage slashing and kicking at Ialda, before grabbing Ialda by the throat with one of her flaming limbs. "Compared to everyone else. I'm not much of a fighter...but for you...I'm willing to cut LOOSE!" She shouted, cleaving Ialda in half with her other hand before jumping off her mana footholds as Ialda tried to blast her with a mana wave.
"Where'd that come from? !" Ryuushin said, surprised.
"I had Evangeline teach me the Magia Erebea to make up for the power I lost. Like it?" Hikari said with a grin.
"I mean, why didn't you think to do that when you had the Shinigami powers?" Ryuushin asked.
"Aah...w-well I didn't think to try absorbing two spells at once!" Hikari huffed.
"Hrmn..." Luka said as Ialda finished putting herself back together. "So Ialda, I gotta ask...what exactly is the play here? You've not been getting very many attacks off, you have access to the spells of this world, yet all you're doing is tanking, are you hoping to just wear us all out? Cause I'm more than willing to crank up the intensity."
"Oh I know you are,but are they." Ialda said pointing her staff at them.
"?" Luka glanced back. Ryuushin and Hikari looked OK, even if Hikari looked a little winded, but the same couldn't be said for Yukari and Miyuki. "That Crimson Dragon's fist barrage and the Quadruple Giga combo really wiped them out." Luka held the Hama no Tsurugi at the ready. "Yukari, Miyuki. Bail."
"What?" Yukari and Miyuki said with wide eyes.
"Look at yourselves." Luka said. "That last combo really wore you out. Go rest."
"Like hell!" Yukari snapped. "I didn't come here just to get benched!"
"We're not going anywhere! We'll be fine!" Miyuki said.
"..." Luka let out a sigh. "I knew it was pointless. Had to try anyway though." He said with a small smirk. "Fine, your call. It's not like I can make you leave in my present condition."
"Don't worry. I'll give them some of my energy." Ryuushin said.
"...I think not."
"? !" Ryuushin's eyes widened as Ialda appeared in front of him, her staff slamming into his stomach. "Gulah? !" He spat out blood, losing his grip on the dual blade naginata Kenshin lent him.
"Ryuushin? ! Dad? !" Hikari, Yukari and Miyuki all shout.
"? !" Luka turned around. "Damn you!" Luka said charging right at her.
"Hmhmn." Ialda chuckled and vanished.
"Where is she? ! I can't sense her!" Miyuki said.
"!" Yukari's eyes widened as she turned toward Miyuki. "BEHIND!"
"? !" Miyuki turned around only to get backhanded over to Yukari.
"! !" Hikari's eyes widened in fury. "HOW DARE YOU! !"
"Fool...your anger blinds you." Ialda said, blocking her attacks with her staff before driving her hand into Hikari's chest.
"Ungh!" Hikari grunted in pain, but kept the chase up.
"Go Onee-Chan, I'm fine!" Miyuki said.
"Right!"
"Hm?" Ialda looked up as Hikari kept attacking her to see Yukari baring down on her. "Ahh, the last one." Ialda thought as she let herself be bisected diagonally.
Yukari felt one of Ialda's hands wrap around her throat, but immediately shrugged it off. Ialda flew back as her body repaired. "Come on, we're not finished here yet!"
"You may not be, but I am. Thanks for falling for my trap." Ialda said with a smirk.
"I DON'T THINK SO!" Luka shouted, rushing her.
"Hahaha! Relocate!" Ialda shouted
The area around Ryuushin, Miyuki, Yukari and Hikari all glew brightly before they all vanished into thin air. "Haaa!" Luka roared as he stabbed her through the chest with the Hama no Tsurugi.
"You're too late..." Ialda said smirking down at him.
"? !" Luka's eyes widened. "Wait..." He said. "Yukari, Miyuki, Mom, Dad...their signatures...where are they? !" He looked up scowling at Ialda. "What did you do?"
"Hmhmhm..." Ialda chuckled softly.
"WHAT DID YOU DO? !" Luka said throwing Ialda off his sword.
"Come now Kenshin...oh I'm sorry Luka." Ialda stated coyly. "This should be something you're familiar with. I mean I did it to you after you killed me the first time as Hottan Ialda.
"! !" Luka's eyes widened in horror.
"Like you said. Your sisters weren't looking too good, and hell even Hikari was getting a little worn out. The only one with any good amount of energy is Ryuushin, but how long will he be able to sustain a barrier to keep them all from being swallowed..." She paused to smirk. "by the void of the Dimensional Gap?"
"A-Aaahhh..." Luka could only gasp in shock.
"I've been playing you this entire time, so let this be a lesson to you boy...Puppets should never defy the Puppet Master." Ialda said.
