Draconis: Alright, let's get started.
Azazel: Draconis, no one feels like talking.
Draconis: Really? Well...I guess I understand after what happened at the end of the last chapter.
Azazel: Wanna just get things started?
Draconis: Might as well.
Dragon of the Elements
Chapter 111
Mistakes of the Past.
Draconis: Begin!
(start)
After the attack by Masanomi Yaegaki and RyuuTaisho, Touji was rushed to the nearest medical facility controlled by Heaven. Physically he would recover, but the main problem was the poison of the Yamata no Orochi.
Before Kenshin went to speak to Yukari, he approached and sat next to Irina who had a despondent look on her face as Asia tried to comfort her. "Asia...could you give us some time alone?"
"H-Hai, Onii-Sama." Asia said.
Kenshin and Irina were left alone. "I couldn't protect Papa..."
"...Is this your first time?" Kenshin asked.
"Huh?" Irina said, her eyes filled with tears.
"Irina, we are technically in a war." Kenshin said, closing his eyes, grabbing her hand. "These things happen in a war. You're right to be worried, but I think your father will make it out OK."
"I know...I...just never thought it would happen to me or my family." Irina said, squeezing Kenshin's hand.
"I know, we never think it could happen to us." Kenshin said. "My past was constantly taking actions to make as sure as possible it couldn't." He said.
Rias and Azazel approach them. "I'm sorry that I wasn't present during such a crucial time."
"Don't worry about it Rias. We couldn't have predicted this." Kenshin said.
"Still...I heard the details. We are currently discussing things with the Church side regarding the countermeasures and the antidote for Officer Chief Shidou." Azazel said before disappearing down the far corridor.
Issei and Xenovia look on. "Why aren't you over there instead of Kenshin?" Issei asked.
"Because..." Xenovia sighed. "I might end up yelling at her for the way she's acting right now, but that would be too painful for her right now...it's better for Asia and Kenshin to handle it.
Issei walked forward as Griselda and the doctor treating Touji walked out.
"There is a poison which is thought to belong to an Evil Dragon present inside the Officer Chief's body at this moment." The doctor said.
"...The Yamata no Orochi's poison...that's troublesome. It isn't as poisonous as Samael's poison, but it's still very lethal. If we leave that man like he is now, he will die within a few days as the poison will taint his very soul. There are very few spellcasters or institutes that are able to cure him."
Griselda nods at Ddraig's words. "Yes. That's why we are planning to rush him to Heaven. If it's Heaven's antidote, then it should be able to cure him, even if it's the Yamata no Orochi's poison...Except..." Griselda said before opening the door.
"There's something he wants to tell you." Griselda said.
Irina rushed in, followed by everyone else, crashing into her father's arms, seeing him laid up. "Papa!" Irina cried out. "I'm sorry. Even though I was chosen by Michael-Sama...even though I became an Angel, I couldn't protect you..."
Touji embraced Irina. "Hahaha, it isn't your fault Irina-Chan...and please stop acting like I'm going to die. I'm going to be receiving treatment in Heaven after this, so please don't worry about me."
Touji looked over at Kenshin and Issei who both gave him a thumbs up as Irina seemed to cheer up slightly at this. "Yet...I need to tell you all something about the man who attacked us. He is Yaegaki Masanomi. He was a skilled warrior of the Church, and previously my subordinate."
"...When you say that 'he was previously' then what is he currently." Rias asked.
"He...already passed away...it's because the Church executed him." Touji said.
"? !" Everyone gasped.
"..." Kenshin scowled. "It was either the Holy Grail or Yama. Then the sword he was using was upgraded by combining the Yamata no Orochi with it."
"Yes." Touji said. "You're all aware about the reports saying priests of the Church are being attacked, right?" Everyone nodded. "It's likely his doing. He has the motive, and the ones that are getting killed were former comrades of mine."
Rias let out a sigh. "The truth is, those from the House of Bael are being attacked now as well."
"Is Sairaorg-San OK?" Issei asked.
"There's not any victims from the house itself but those close to the current Head who are politicians of the Great King faction are being attacked. Some have even been killed."
"There's victims on both the Church's side and the Devil's side." Kiba said.
"It's likely him." Touji said. "Him and that other man that was with him."
"..." Kenshin closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.
"Other man?" Yukari said.
"That's what I need to talk to you about after this." Kenshin said.
"What happened in this town exactly?" Rias asked. "I was told that the Devil who was in charge of this place was in charge of this place was a relative of the House of Bael...basically is was in charge of someone from my mother's family's side and that they were dismissed after causing a stir with the Church."
"I see, so that's how it is told on your side...likewise, that's how it is on our side. So your father and brother never explained it to you then?" Touji asked.
"I don't think my father knows, he's not one to keep secrets from me...my brother has his standing as Lucifer and probably hasn't had the time. A messenger sent from the House of Bael to the House of Gremory. It's probably because they are going to reveal the situation since they can't keep this a secret anymore, lest it gets revealed to the public. I've just returned to come take my servants, my fiancee and his servants back with me."
"...I see...so they're going to talk about it too. It will be better to hear it from the Great King's side. Except...before you go I'll share a bit about it...Yaegaki-kun fell in love with a high class female devil who was in charge of Kuoh back then." Touji said before covering his mouth, eyes already leaking tears. "Her name was...!"
"Cleria Belial." Kenshin said making everyone turn to him. "And to keep the status quo back then...you killed them both...right?"
"I won't even be able to complain if he shreds me to pieces...!" Touji cried out. "I've done something deserving of death...Yaegaki-kun, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...!"
"Nonetheless...even after you've recovered from this poison, stay in Heaven." Kenshin said. "Someone much stronger than your former subordinate will want you dead when he finds this out."
"Who?" Rias asked.
"Right...I never got the chance to tell you back in Auros." Kenshin said. "When he finds out, Diehauser Belial will likely come after him."
Rias was shocked. "W-Why him?"
"Because Cleria Belial was like a sister to him." Kenshin said before turning to Yukari. "Come on. Tamamo, gather everyone, Negi, Konoka and Setsuna as well."
"Yes." Tamamo nodded.
Yukari followed Kenshin to an empty room. "What is it Kenshin? You seem worked up."
"Yaegaki didn't attack us alone. Yama was there and he managed to steal Kuroi Jigoku away from me." Kenshin said.
"I see..." Yukari said. "Well if need be I can-"
"I'm not done." Kenshin said. "...He...also..."
"What?" Yukari said seeing Kenshin's face twitch.
"Our family's resting site on Mundus Magicus has been defiled." Kenshin said. "Because the other man fighting alongside Masanomi was our Grandfather."
"? !" Yukari let out a shocked gasp.
"...It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that he resurrected more than just him." Kenshin said.
"...No..." Yukari said, a shiver in her voice. "Not again...please...not again..."
"..." Kenshin walked over and embraced Yukari. "I know. I'm...shaken by it as well."
"Wasn't it enough that we were forced to kill them once?" Yukari asked, her voice already breaking.
"Apparently not." Kenshin said tightening his embrace. "...I swear to god...I'm gonna fucking rip that bastard to pieces."
"Only if I don't get to him first." Yukari said as they pulled away from one another. Yukari wiped her eyes.
"I wanted to tell you first because I knew it'd shock you the most. Mom and Miyuki never knew RyuuTaisho like we did." Kenshin said.
"I know." Yukari nodded. "Thanks."
"Yeah." Kenshin said. "...I'm not looking forward to this." He said.
"Neither am I." Yukari said with her eyes closed.
"Come on, we have to go." Kenshin said.
"Wait." Yukari said tugging on Kenshin's arm.
"What is it?" Kenshin said only for Yukari to pull him into a short kiss.
"Seriously." Yukari said with a smile. "Thank you for telling me this, it would have hurt so much more to find out on my own."
"I know." Kenshin said, smiling back at her before frowning. "But...we know what we need to do..."
"Y...Yeah." Yukari said with a downcast look.

Later
The Gremory and Kuroshi peerages were walking along a corridor when Rias stopped in front of a door.
"Kenshin, how did you know about Cleria Belial?" Issei asked.
"While we were in Auros I happened to bump into Diehauser Belial talking to what he said was one of his servants. I hope he can be placated, but I doubt it." Kenshin said. "Comparing Rias's story to his, it would seem she's been lied to."
"Will he really go after Irina's dad?" Issei asked.
"I don't know. When he told me about Cleria's death. He seemed like he'd stop at nothing to uncover the truth." Kenshin said.
Rias heard all of this and knocked the door. "Father, I have arrived."
"Come in Rias." Zeoticus said. "I'm glad you all are here."
Sitting on the sofa across from Zeoticus and Venerana was Zekram Bael as well as Lord Bael. "Nice of you to finally arrive." Lord Bael snorted.
"Well excuse me for being busy." Kenshin said. "Unlike you I actually fight on the frontlines."
"Startling lack of faith you have in your servants." Lord Bael sneered.
"You're a fool if you think it's a lack of faith. A true leader fights alongside his or her warriors." Kenshin said. Lord Bael scowled. "You wanna trade barbs with me? I can do this all day."
"You really need to watch your mouth around your superiors boy." Lord Bael said, still scowling.
"Or what? You gonna send another assassin after me? Worked out so well with Magdaran." Kenshin scoffed.
"?" Venerana turned to Kenshin with a curious look. "What are you talking about Kenshin?"
"Oh just that your little step brother here tried to have his younger son kill me in Makai." Kenshin said. "Magdaran's heart was never fully in it and I talked him out of it."
Venerana turned to Lord Bael with an angry look. "You tried to have one of the Underworld's heroes killed? Risking your own son's life? Unbelievable."
"You should remain silent, Elder Sister." Lord Bael said evenly. "This conversation is between me and this False Lord of the Council, who is only a Lord because of your mudblood son."
"!" Venerana's eyes narrowed into a scowl.
"..." Zeoticus also scowled. "I don't care about your rank as a devil...I will not have you slander my son in my own house."
Before Lord Bael could retort Zekram cleared his throat. "That is quite enough." He said. "We came to discuss more important things."
"Excuse my manners." Kenshin said before bowing his head toward Zekram. "It's nice to meet you again Zekram-Sama."
"Yes...it's nice to meet you two as well, your fiancee in particular." Zekram nodded. "Nice to meet you, Princess Rias, and nice to see you again as well. Archduke Kenshin.
"L-Lord Zekram...I..." Rias said.
"Please ignore my descendant. He is still being educated on how to treat people. If you want to know more about me, have someone look into the Bible or documents related to it." Zekram said before looking upon both sets of peerages belonging to Rias and Kenshin. "Ah, the famed Gremory and Kuroshi groups. I've heard of your numerous achievements...and that you all get along with both heirs of our household. I give you my thanks."
"Yes. The enemies...one of the people helping Qlippoth said he will take his vengeance on Heaven and the Bael." Rias said.
"Touji also mentioned the resurrected members of my youkai clans, the Kuroshi and Tsuki helping out." Kenshin said.
Irina stepped forward. "Please tell us, my papa...I...I mean my father was also apparently involved in it. Right now he's being targeted by that terrorist Masanomi Yaegaki. Please tell us what happened at that town."
"Attacking people wantonly doesn't sound like RyuuTaisho's MO either." Kenshin said.
"Hrm...I requested that the documents pertaining to the attacks involving your kinsmen be brought to me." Zekram said stroking his chin in thought.
"Honored Ancestor...how many times are you going to override me?" Lord Bael asked with a frustrated look.
"As many times as it takes to educate you." Lord Zekram said before closing his eyes. "That said...the attacks we've suffered...have results in a few deaths of our own." Zekram said, staring Kenshin in the eyes. "I cannot control my entire faction. They will demand recompense."
"..." Kenshin went silent, closing his eyes. "What then?"
"Retribution." Lord Bael said.
"..." Kenshin narrowed his eyes at Lord Bael.
"..." Zekram closed his eyes. "People bearing your clan's likeness have been involved in the attacks on us. I apologize. I'm certain you have nothing to do with it, but as you are now the current Lord of both the Kuroshi and Tsuki clans, we must hold you responsible."
"How do we know he has nothing to do with it Honored Ancestor?" Lord Bael asked.
Before Zekram could answer Kenshin cut in. "Tell me Lord Bael. What do I gain from attacking you? I don't wish to draw Makai and Mundus Magicus into another war, and I obviously don't have the resources to sack your lands and to a further point I'm friends with Sairaorg and Magdaran is my adviser."
"Then why are they attacking us then?" Zekram asked.
"Quipploth has enlisted the aid of the rouge Primordial of Death, the Shinigami Yama, who defiled my clan's burial grounds." Kenshin said. "He gathered up all their bodies and enlisted his own help of a necromancer named La Croix and had her restore the bodies back to working condition before reviving them himself. They're being forced to do his bidding not mine."
"How do you know they were all dead outside yourselves?" Lord Bael said.
"..." Kenshin schooled his features, but was uncomfortable answering this. "Doesn't the fact that more of us appearing after over thirty years kind of prove my point?"
"Wouldn't that only be fifteen for us until recently?" Zekram asked.
"Yes, but that's beside the point." Kenshin said. "Trust me, they were all dead. They were tired of running from the powers that be in Mundus Magicus during the early stages of the Schismatic War in that world and were massacred."
"How do you know?" Lord Bael snorted.
"Am I not supposed to know the history of my own clans?" Kenshin asked.
"True, but you're young, and according to you yourself, your mother was only a baby at the time." Zekram said, inwardly frustrating Kenshin.
"Kenshin..." Rias said. "Lord Zekram, he doesn't honestly have to answer this does he?"
"We merely wish to check all our corners in this investigation." Zekram said.
"They've been killing personal allies of mine. I want an-" Lord Bael was cut off.
"Because my sister and I killed them all ourselves ALRIGHT? !" Kenshin yelled.
"? !" Zekram was caught off guard by the outburst while Lord Bael snorted.
"Well...maybe you missed a few." Lord Bael said.
"No...we didn't." Yukari growled.
"Stay silent girl." Lord Bael said.
"Why? Cause she's telling the truth? ! We recognized every single person whose lives we ended!" Kenshin said. "None of them left the encampment we were based at, don't speak on matters you know nothing about!"
"Encampment? Also you mentioned them being on the run, please explain." Zekram said.
Kenshin sighed and explained that his clans were kicked out of Makai by Forbesii, and ended up on Mundus Magicus by pure happenstance. That they were able to stay hidden for a time, until the events of the Schismatic War. Where they were feared by the Confederacy for being mistaken for Hellasians while Hellas' citizens at the time were fearful that they were uncontrollable beasts as well as how he and Yukari ended up in the past.
"You have to be lying." Lord Bael scoffed. "The Kuroshi and Tsuki clans were revered clans in Makai."
"I will remind you to shut your mouth about things you know nothing about." Kenshin scowled.
"I will as well." Venerana said with Zeoticus nodding. "Kenshin isn't one to lie. Only a fool wouldn't see how uncomfortable he is about talking about this."
"Well truth or not...the deaths of our people cannot be overlooked." Lord Bael said. "We demand recompense."
"...Who are you to demand anything from me, when I haven't done anything to you?" Kenshin said.
"I'm sorry Kenshin, but the other Council members and those of the Great King Faction will not see it that way." Zekram said.
"..." Kenshin let out a sigh. "...I'll ensure that they're all put down again." Kenshin said.
"? !" Zeoticus, Venerana, Zekram and Rias and her peerage all looked at him in shock.
"Will that suffice?" Kenshin asked. "They're already suffering because of being revived against their will...I'll...kill them all as punishment for the actions they took against you."
"..." Zekram looks at Kenshin, seeing the look on his face. "Very well, they're your clan, do with them as you see fit."
"Thank you, Zekram-Sama." Kenshin bowed respectfully.
"Hold on, how are we to believe he'll actually do it?" Lord Bael asked.
"Because he's a man of his word, even if it hurts him to do so." Rias said with a scowl.
"Zeoticus, you better get your daughter in line." Lord Bael said.
"Or what?" Kenshin growled. "Because if you even so much as try to hurt a hair on hers, her peerage's, my own peerage's or any of my allies' heads...I will kill you." Kenshin said.
"Is that a threat?" Lord Bael asked.
"No, It's a promise." Kenshin said. "At that point I won't care about a war."
"..." Lord Bael closed his eyes. "Fine...as long as they are punished for killing my allies I don't care what happens."
"Very well." Kenshin said.
"But! I demand that the bodies of their leaders be brought to us." Lord Bael said.
"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened with a scowl.
Hikari stepped forward. "The leaders at the time the Kuroshi and Tsuki Massacre were my parents and Kenshin's grandparents! How dare you demand that? !"
Lord Bael smirked. "I demand it as proof that he actually went through with it."
"...I'll do it." Kenshin said, his head bowed. "Will that be proper payment?" He asked Zekram.
"Yes...and for what it's worth...I'm sorry." Zekram said, closing his eyes.
Kenshin closed his eyes and nodded. "Alright. I believe you wanted to talk to Rias." He said stepping back.
Yukari looked over at Kenshin, before grabbing his hand, her head bowing forward. Kenshin felt this and tightened the grip on Yukari's hand. Zekram turned to Irina. "You are an Angel." He asked. "A human named Shidou was sent from the church back then. Was it perhaps the human called Shidou?"
"Yes, my name is Shidou Irina, Shidou Touji is my father." Irina said.
Zekram let out a heavy sigh. "This must be fate then. Oh my, so much is happening after it became Sairaorg's era...let me ask you first Princess Rias. Do you know the connection between us and the land you, Princess Sona and Archduke Kenshin now control?"
Rias nodded. "Yes, it's currently being governed by us, but I was told that it previously was a shared territory between the Bael house and the Gremory house.
"The majority of the places all of you are using now had our clan involved since ancient times. Thought it was mainly controlled by the Gremorys. Likewise for Kuoh Academy, but there was one time when that location was appointed to sons or daughters of nobles for a short periods of time in order to let them gather experience. That girl was also among them." Zekram explained. "Cleria's management was going accordingly. It showed signs like any other town managed by a high class Devil. However due to many coincidences. Cleria started a relationship with a human. I won't blame her for this. A Devil having a relationship with a human isn't rare, it's been happening since ancient times. For us, they are suitable partners for us until their lifespan ends."
"Let me ask something." Kenshin said. "Masanomi and Cleria fell in love, but being who they were a High Class Devil and a member from the church, they were executed." He pauses to point at Issei and Irina. "...What happens with them?"
"? !" Irina gasped while Issei turns toward Kenshin in shock.
"Issei is a Devil and Irina is an Angel, yet those two are in a relationship. Will you have them killed too? Because know that I would not allow such a thing to happen." Kenshin said. "That is to say...I will defend them till my dying breath. The angel is like a sister to me and the Sekiryuutei and I are brothers in all but blood."
Zekram closed his eyes and nodded. "I understand your concern Lord Kuroshi. Things were different back then. Having an Angel here, even having a meeting between Devils and those from the church was impossible, but romance between an exorcist and a High Class Devil was unheard of until six months ago when the armistice was put into effect...seriously, there were many incidents that changed our values greatly since we entered this year." Zekram said, his face going sour.
"Why the sour look? Change is good isn't it?" Tamamo asked.
"Yes, but some have trouble getting used to it." Zekram said.
"That's fair." Tamamo nodded.
"So, Cleria-San and Masanomi were..." Rias trailed off.
"We couldn't allow such a thing to happen. Understand that killing them was a last resort. We both tried to convince them to break it off, but the two were serious about it. Cleria wasn't doing it for pleasure, she was honestly in love with him. Allowing it would have meant giving an exception. So we forcefully split them apart, we united even though we were foes. In order to protect each of our rules." Zekram laughed bitterly. "Don't you reckon that both sides are sinful beings?"
"I reckon that killing them was dumb." Miyuki said bringing attention to her. "An exorcist of the Church, a High Class Devil falling in love? You could have tried to use that to being Angels and Devils together for peace and seeing as Azazel was still Governor General at the time, he'd probably come to the table as well if he was invited. At the very least I think Kokabiel's attack on Kuoh could have been prevented which was the trigger for the Kuoh Summit meeting as Azazel would have better ability to keep him in line."
"I have to agree as well." Raynare said.
"Who are you to speak on this matter?" Lord Bael sneered.
"I'm the representative of the Fallen Angels here." Raynare shot back. "And I will have you know if anything happens to me, the Fallen Angels will not look favorably upon it. I was only killed before and it was accepted because I was in the wrong."
"Anyway, you fucked up in another way as well." Kenshin said with a stern look.
"What do you mean?" Zekram asked.
"Cleria Belial was Diehauser Belial's cousin, but the two were as close as siblings, my own relationships with my sisters withstanding." Kenshin explained. "Before Auros was attacked I happened along him in a forest talking with what he said was one of his servants. I questioned him about this. Asking why he couldn't have just had that conversation in a private room, before further asking why he was in Auros at all, coming to Princess Sona's academy. I recalled that the Belial clan didn't voice their support for it during the meetings. Why he didn't just go to Agreas, shoot the movie he was planning and be on his way."
"You interrogated a head of the council?" Lord Bael asked.
"It wasn't interrogation as much as me just talking with him." Kenshin said. "Though me not trusting him did come up. For an Ultimate Class Devil, almost bordering on Super Devil status...and he's not trying to become a Satan? That always struck me as odd. To be honest, anytime I've spoken to him he felt like he didn't have any ambition at all...I mean Rating Games have probably become boring to him at this point."
"What did he say then?" Zekram asked.
"That I was also ambitionless, but my ambition, my clan's ambition has always been peace, to be rid of war once and for all. That's why Yama's usage of my departed kinsmen is so upsetting." Kenshin said. "Diehauser went on to question me, asking if I was the only one searching for justice and told me that Kuoh wasn't always governed by the Gremory and Sitri clans. He went on to say he would find out what happened to her, no matter the cost. If it pits him against the Underworld, he doesn't care. I only told him that as long as no one died, he could investigate all he wanted and I wouldn't care...that was before I learned what happened..." Kenshin said.
"Then we'll have to cover it up." Lord Bael said.
Kenshin snorted. "You really think that's going to work? It's better if you and the Angels get together and offer him reparations for his loss. Right now he doesn't know the truth, but how do you think he'll react when he does find out?"
"I see what you're talking about Lord Kuroshi." Zekram said. "But at this time Lord Diehauser Belial is very busy and even I can't get in contact with him."
"I see." Kenshin said.
Zeoticus strokes his chin. "This is the first time I'm even hearing of this. We certainly have our faults for leaving Kuoh in the hands of the Bael until it became Rias' turn...but we both maintained that land together, even if it had been in name only. I would have liked this to be brought to me." Zeoticus said.
"Me as well. " Venerana said. "We weren't aware we were putting our daughter in danger.
Zekram closed his eyes. "I apologize for twisting the past and handing that land to Princess Rias. However it's a land that had such a thing occur. If we didn't find the successor quickly there would have been suspicions."
Zeoticus let out a sigh. "And a talented youth would have been ideal right? My dear Rias is the sister of Satan Lucifer. She also carries the blood of the house of Bael through her mother. So you assumed she would be worthy enough to erase what had actually happened on that land, further buffered by Princess Sitri being added and Lord Lucifer bringing Lord Kuroshi here?"
Zekram smiled shallowly. "I won't bother hiding it, you are absolutely right Zeoticus. We had thought that even if the truth was revealed now. It would be easy enough to cover the past by building many achievements. That's what we thought, but the youth was so talented that the land turned into the place of peace of the Three Great Factions, and even the Sekiryuutei and Dragon of the Elements appeared."
Rias shakes her head. "So you were only using us?" She said, trying to keep her anger down. "I won't say anything about hiding it from me, since it would have the politics back then, but why?" She asked.
"Why did we keep things hidden from you, Princess Sitri and Archduke Kuroshi?" Zekram said. "Why did we go as far as to lie to Lord Gremory?"
"..." Rias shut her mouth as Zekram said the things she herself wanted to say. Zekram closed his eyes, letting out a carefree sigh.
"I have told Sirzechs-Dono. If he didn't tell you then that must be his affection of love toward you. You won't be able to deny that. He didn't want to give negative information and increase the hardships of his adorable sister, nor his future brother in law." Zekram said glancing at Kenshin. "Don't you think so? I will apologize for troubling him between Bael's will and his love toward his sister and brother in law...but I'll praise him for his good choice to live up to the expectations of both sides."
Rias went to speak but Kenshin placed a hand on her shoulder. "The truth is out now and Kuoh has long been the target of terrorists alone because of the Gremory, Sitri and my own peerages. If we had been informed about this beforehand, we could have come up with a countermeasure, and we could have prevented the deaths from both the Underworld side and Church side."
Zekram laughed lively. "Please don't misunderstand me Kuroshi-dono. It's just you're all so young. Likewise with our Sairaorg and the son of the previous Lucifer-Sama, Rizevim-bocchan. To act for a reason like humans." Zekram said before gazing at Issei and Kenshin. "Sekiryuutei-Dono, Kenshin-Dono."
"Y-Yes./ What is it?" Issei and Kenshin both said.
"I've posed this to Kenshin-dono before, but...how about you both become Satans in the future." Zekram said.
"Honored Ancestor, you can't be serious!" Lord Bael balked.
"Why can't I?" Zekram asked. "I helped the current four Satans attain their rank because they were respected and popular, why not these two alongside Sairaorg?"
"Excusing the disrespectful and mouthy Dragon of the Elements, the perverse Sekiryuutei becoming a Satan is unacceptable. I will not abide his tomfoolery!" Lord Bael said.
"Well...too bad, because I will." Zekram said. "I am allowing you to demand the corpses of Kenshin's resurrected grandparents as proof that he killed them in the name of the justice our clan demands." He turned toward Kenshin and Issei. "With your popularity, it will be interesting if you became Satans."
"S-Someone like me couldn't became a Satan." Issei said.
"I'm afraid I have to agree...both of us hold the image of the current Lord Lucifer as an ideal Satan." Kenshin said.
"But you can...it's a position even our Sairaorg can aim for." Zekram said.
"But isn't Sairaorg-San the heir?" Issei asked.
"Yes. Sairaorg is certainly the next heir. He's talented and even the people of our territory love him, however...and Lord Kuroshi knows this. That I'm planning to make his younger brother, Magdaran the next head. Once Sairaorg becomes the head, we will push for him to become a Satan or get a position which comes before that once we give him several achievements." Zekram explained. "Even now, and even in the past, the one who will become the successor of the main family for the Great King Bael will be the one that has the power of Destruction."
"So it's a rigged shitshow huh?" Kenshin asked.
"Yeah, it sounds like you all hold the title of Great King higher than Satan." Issei said.
"Kenshin, Issei..."
Zekram smiled. "Princess Rias, it's OK, that's just the way it is. The ones who supported the Devils of the Underworld after the deaths of the previous Satans weren't the Satan's clans, but the House of the Great King. Satans are nothing more than symbols."
"!" Kenshin's eyes widened at this.
"Obviously there is no value in a mere symbol. We needed a Devil with strength and charisma. In terms of that Sirzechs-dono and Ajuka-dono were ideal. They took their position while understanding that very well. They even know how to have a mutual relation with the Great King's side. From our point of view they are an ideal role for a Satan."
"Krrhh..." Kenshin growled under his breath, but Zekram heard him anyway.
"What is it Kenshin-dono?" Zekram asked.
"So that's it? Sirzechs, Ajuka, Falbium and Serafall are all just symbols to you?" Kenshin asked
"Please do not misunderstand me. They are symbols, but powerful symbols." Zekram said.
"Then why do you allow this motherfucker to do as he pleases? !" Kenshin said pointing at Lord Bael.
"Lord Kenshin, I."
"No! He's threatened my life, affronted the Satans numerous times, yet he's allowed to keep his position? He's even allowed to demand that I present the corpses of my grandparents to him? !" Kenshin shouted.
"..." Zekram went silent.
"I'm sorry, but I cannot accept this. You are showing too much favoritism toward your own clan." Kenshin said.
"And would you not do the same?" Zekram asked with an even look.
"!" Kenshin's eyes widened.
"The Bael are my family, so of course I'm going to favor them to some extent, but recognize that I am in the midst of punishing the current Lord, but he has valid points. His own personal allies are the ones being killed. They deserve justice too, do they not? Or do you believe only your family deserves justice?"
"..." Kenshin went silent at Zekram's words.
"We do recognize the Satans as symbols, but also leaders...and like you said during Grayfia's last interrogation, we are merely there to check their worst impulses and suggest legislature for them to approve. For every law we've approved, we've trashed at least three." Zekram said. "If need be we will override a law we deem to be unfair."
"Hrmph...I'd imagine because it inconveniences you." Kenshin snorts.
Zekram let out a sigh. "Kenshin, I realize that most of the High class hierarchy has been unfair to you, but we aren't that unfair."
"Give me an example then." Kenshin said.
Zekram nodded. "A few hundred years after the Civil War. I personally fought for a stimulus bill that would help the businesses of the Devils get on their feet. It was approved heavily and this one's father spearheaded it's approval." He said gesturing toward Lord Bael who looked frustrated.
"What, current Lord Bael?" Kenshin asked. "Would you have rather your people starved?"
"We could have helped ourselves." Lord Bael said.
Zekram frowned before turning to Kenshin. "I heard that Rizevim-bocchan and the lost son of Lucifugus said this to you...to be evil...fufufu, they are indeed young." Zekram said before letting out a sigh. "I would want all of you who will become the center of the young generation. The 'real' Devils refer to kins of High class devils has been foretold since ancient times. Others besides that are servants and not real Devils. Such are the commoners and the reincarnated ones. Being evil or not will change with the perspectives of humans and other forces. I don't see the need to become evil. To keep the society of nobles continuing for eternity is what a Devil should do."
"..." Kenshin cleared his throat. "I agree with you on that, but those nobles need to realize that they need to change along with society. Like I told you before keep your old teachings, but don't be restricted by them and continue to move forward."
"Yes Yes, I haven't forgotten." Zekram said. "Haa...looks like I'm being influenced by you young ones since I just spoke out my thoughts which is unfitting for my age. I'm sorry, I was only planning to talk about the situation regarding Kuoh Town. Looks like I made all of you listen to the long ramblings of an old man." Zekram said with a bitter smile. "Regarding the incident in which there are casualties from the Bael Faction. Normally we would take care of it ourselves, but for this time we'll leave it to the DxD team. I believe someone is observing how the Bael will move. We judged that taking action carelessly would be a bad move. Come." He said to Lord Bael.
"Yes. It's time for Magdaran's tutoring anyway." Lord Bael said as they both got up.
Zekram closes his eyes. "I do apologize for keeping the truth about that town a secret. I'll take my leave."
"Zekram-Sama, let Venerana and I send you off." Zeoticus said extending his hand to Zekram.
"No, that's quite alright. The current Lord Bael will be enough." Zekram said as they walked by DxD.
Rias then spoke up. "I...love Kenshin Kuroshi who is standing here." Rias said, grabbing Kenshin's left arm
"..." Kenshin brought said arm around her, smiling down at her.
Issei does the same with Irina. "And I love this Angel, Shidou Irina." He said, making Irina blush darkly before smiling and laying her head on Issei's shoulder.
"I see that." Zekram smiled. "It's fine. I won't deny romance between species now."
Lord Bael scoffed. "Honored Ancestor I'll be waiting at the front."
"Gee, he's certainly cuddly. Wonder how his wife not named Misla feels?" Kenshin said with a snort.
"Lord Kuroshi, I must ask, why didn't you inform us about Diehauser's intentions?" Zekram asked.
"Well I intended to honestly, but that day I got busy with my services at Sona's academy and then Ialda Baoth happened." Kenshin said.
Negi stepped forward along with Konoka and Setsuna. "She was possessing me at the time, and was controlling these two alongside numerous others.
"We could not fight her off." Konoka said.
"Please forgive Kenshin's delay." Setsuna said bowing forward
"I understand." Zekram smiled. "It's not like Lord Kuroshi asked to be kidnapped. Very well, with all my questions answered I will take my leave."
Zekram left the room. "So that's the first Bael...he seems to have a fanatical view...but he would still acknowledge us, even if he denies it huh. He's different from the Old Satan Faction. The top of the Great King faction..." Xenovia stated.
"He was scary and had some pressure to him, but he seems better than the Vampire nobles." Gasper said.
"Yeah." Evangeline said petting Gasper's head with a smile. "He's kind of a purist, but he seems more malleable than Vampire nobles and most Devil nobles."
Kenshin glanced back at Evangeline with a smile, who smiled back in return. "Mixing blood has never been an issue for us." Tamamo said. "If those who wanted to keep their blood pure spoke up, we just gave our blessing, but asked that they give up their problems with 'dirtying blood'." Tamamo said.
"To be honest. The two past heads of the Kuroshi and Tsuki clans were nervous about it at first until Yukari and I came along." Kenshin said.
"RyuuTaisho Kuroshi and Aki Tsuki were deeply in love with one another, but scared off actual marriage and mating because cross breeding was considered taboo." Yukari said. "After we arrived, baring characteristics of both clans did they finally allow themselves to fall fully in love with one another..leading to the birth of our mother and father, and later Kenshin, Miyuki and myself."
"Well, I'm sure that there are things that you couldn't say to him, however I'm sure your feelings reached him." Zeoticus said to Rias, Kenshin, Issei and Yukari. "Kenshin-kun, remember it well. That man is the actual man standing at the top of the Great King Faction. You can say that the political influence exceeds even Sirzechs. After all, he has been watching over the Underworld since the birth of Devils. The years he has lived are far different than us. I was even a babe when he was still acting behind the Original Four Great Satans. If Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka and Falbium can be called the Light of the Devils, then that man, Zekram Bael-Sama is the Shadow of the Devils." Zeoticus explained.
"As a representative of the Bael...I apologize for the undertaking you're about to endure Kenshin." Venerana said with a morose gaze.
"It's quite alright." Kenshin said shaking his head. "I have prepared myself for this...and so has my trusted Knight." Kenshin said glancing at Yukari who nodded. Granberia frowned at this but Kenshin glanced at her. "I don't trust you any less Granberia, but...this is an immediate Kuroshi Tsuki family matter."
Granberia closes her eyes and nods. "I understand Kenshin."
Kenshin nodded and Rias spoke up. "What was started by the Great King shall be solved by the one who carries the blood of the Great King. I guess that's the reason I was chosen as the successor of that land." Rias said.
"..." Kenshin grabbed Rias' hands, squeezing them tightly. Rias looked up at him with a smile.
"Hey, even if he's your ancestor...I won't allow you to feel saddened for things outside your control." Kenshin said, smiling back at her. "It's in the past, you aren't fault and shouldn't feel that way."

Later
The groups had left the Underworld after conversing with Zeoticus and Venerana, determining that they could try and solve what happened in the past. Zeoticus then left saying he needed to meet with the House of Belial to have them explain it clearer. That the House of Bael wouldn't stop him, because Zekram was involved, Lord Bael himself couldn't intervene.
Azazel was walking alongside them. "I feel they should have trusted Rias more and shared this with her, but since it was before the peace treaty, unavoidable incidents like this happened a lot." Azazel turned to Rias and Kenshin. "Rias, don't blame Sirzechs. He's strong, but he's also a soft hearted brat. You can say he's acting too much like a brother to you, but due to his mutual relation with the Great King Faction, this town was probably the only territory he could give you. However this town is a good place. Kuoh Academy, and the other institutes. I think Sirzechs gave as much support as he could."
Kenshin patted Rias on the back. Azazel went on. "Kenshin...I know you agreed to put them all down, but..."
"Don't Oyaji." Kenshin said shaking his head. "I'm more doing it for my family than to get that bastard Lord Bael off my back."
"Yeah." Azazel nodded.
Rias spoke up. "I know. I have experienced good times till now in this town, without any discomfort...and he even brought me the love of my life." Rias said wrapping her arms around Kenshin. "I know that is Onii-Sama's love towards me...even if the crimes committed in the past were altered, and he couldn't tell me the truth. I don't hold any blame in the slightest toward my brother."
"Yeah." Kenshin said hugging Rias back with one arm, smiling. "Rias and I owe Sirzechs a lot...for allowing us to meet." Kenshin said, nuzzling his face into Rias' hair, while she giggled and tightened her embrace.

The next day.
The Gremory and Kuroshi peerages as well as, Irina, Raynare Sextum, Negi, Konoka and Setsuna all arrived in a medical facility at First Heaven. It was a mix of modern and fantasy contracture. It's a place with mixed culture just like in the Underworld. There were electronic devices from the human world and a floating bed. They entered Touji's hospital room and were relieved to see he was doing well. The poison's effect having lessened quite a bit.
"Touji-San." Kenshin said with Rias approaching.
"We've heard the story from the House of Bael." Rias said.
"I see." Touji said. "We tried to convince Yaegaki-kun to the very end. Our logic back then...no, even now we think that a romance between a Devil and the followers of the church is unforgivable. Even if she happened to be someone from the branch family, she was still a member of the Belial Family...you see Kenshin-kun...we knew we'd be turning the whole of Belial itself into our enemies. And the current Lord of Belial is none other than..."
"The Champion of the Rating, Diehauser Belial...his strength is said to rival that of the Satans" Rias said.
"Yes." Touji nodded. "If we failed to convince Yaegaki-kun, Emperor Belial himself would show up. If that happened it wouldn't be a mere quarrel...But it appeared the devil's side had the same opinion, so a Devil from the Bael's faction came to us.
"We shall cooperate. We also want to settle this quietly."
Kenshin frowned at this, making Touji turn to him. "What is it?"
"I'll tell you the same thing I told the Baels. I think killing them both off was dumb. If you thought about it more deeply and brought the Belials to the table. I think you might have been able to facilitate a treaty between the Church and Devils, and even invited Azazel and the Fallen Angels, and kicked this alliance off much sooner."
"Yes...I think you're right..." Touji said before turning to Irina with a morose look. "Irina-Chan...Daddy's hands are very tainted...so much so that I can't call my self the father of you who is an angel...I'm sorry I kept it secret...and it's like Lord Kuroshi said. If we had followed that path, we'd never had moved to England, and you wouldn't have had to separate from Issei-kun. I'm...so sorry."
Irina shook her head. "Please stop, papa. I am also a warrior...I can understand that you didn't see another option back then...you were also in pain, right papa...so please don't apologize...I will protect you. Even if you caused a sin in the past I will still protect you, because we are family."
"I will follow up my statement with this." Kenshin said making both Shidous turn to him. "Hindsight is twenty twenty...my own clans are proof of this. I exhausted everything I could think of to save them, but...in the end...nothing worked...and for a long time...I hated myself for it."
"That incident is in the past...even if each side had their reason it was still a sad tragedy, but if he is borrowing Qlippoth's strength and is causing terrorism, we can't leave him be.. Whatever the outcome, the tragedy and sorrow will increase if we don't stop him now." Rias said
Everyone nods at Rias' strong determination. "Yes. " Kenshin said, closing his eyes. "In the end, my forcibly resurrected kinsmen are causing trouble for my new home...as the current head of the Kuroshi and Tsuki clans. I have to punish them."
Touji nods as well. "The truth is, my angel. Daddy didn't come back just for the Christmas project. I came because there is something I wanted to give you." Touji reaches to the other side of the bed and hands Irina a suitcase."Open it."
"!" Irina gasped. "This is..." She grabbed the hilt of a single sword which is giving out a quiet wave of holy aura.
"The wielder of Durandal, the paladin Roland. The sword wielded by Olivier who was Roland's childhood friend as well as his best friend...this is Hauteclere."
"The holy sword Hauteclere..." Irina said with wide eyes.
"The sword is said to only be touchable by those with pure hearts. The trait of it is to purify even those that are cut by it. From the results of it's trait it was determined that Irina-Chan is most qualified to wield it. Of course it has to do with your particles being enhanced by turning into an Angel. The researchers also said it activated because you have been a long partner to Xenovia-san who wield Durandal." Touji said.
"Huh." Yukari said. "And here I thought that her pure heart would have been dirtied a bit by her getting it on with Issei."
"Eh?" Touji said.
"Y-Yukari!" Irina said, blushing in embarrassment
Yukari ignored her and continued. "The day her anti fall door knob arrived Kenshin and I accidentally walked in on Issei and Irina getting ready to do the horizontal tango, they didn't seem to notice us...or at least Issei didn't. Kenshin pulled me away, but seeing their expressions afterward only confirmed the fact that they did it."
Issei began to sweat, but Touji only chuckled fondly. "I see...my Angel...I mean nothing bad by this, but it's good that you finally did that." Touji said. "You always commented how you missed Issei-kun, while we were in England."
Irina began to stammer nervously, but turned as Kenshin placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling down at her. "You got a more powerful blade, and your Dad approves of your relationship with Issei, be happy Irina-nee." Kenshin said.
"..." Irina paused before smiling, wrapping one of her arms around one of Issei's arms, still holding Hauteclere in her free hand. Issei looked up at Kenshin and grinned as if to say thanks. Kenshin closed his eyes and smiled back with a nod. Xenovia placed her hand on Irina's other shoulder.
"Besides. Durandal and Hauteclere seem to be partner swords, wielded by partner swordsmen. I believe this to be fate...that the two of us, close friends are able to wield them."
"Yeah." Irina smiled. "I believe so as well." She said before wiping her eyes.
"Irina...please stop Yaegaki-kun with this sword." Touji said.
Irina nods, a determined gaze. "Papa, thank you! I will stop him!"
"In the meantime, leave the Kuroshi and Tsuki...I guess we'll call them zombies...to me and my peerage." Kenshin said.
Touji glanced at Kenshin, but said nothing. The group have several more discussions before finishing their report. Touji speaks up. "I'm sorry, but can Issei-kun and Kenshin-kun stay. There is something I need to speak to them about."
Everyone filters out of the room except Issei and Kenshin. Touji turned to Issei first. "Issei-kun...Irina-Chan won't be able to live like a normal girl due to her trait after becoming an Angel. On top of that she's the Ace of Michael-Sama. She won't be able to become a normal girl again, but she was given an exception. She was allowed to act like a girl only in front of you and Kenshin-kun." Touji said.
"Wait...why me?" Kenshin asked.
"Because we noticed how close you two were getting. You've always been helping Irina-Chan out with training to matters of romance. She really considers you to be her brother...and as she's an only child...I cherish such a thing, please keep caring for her." Touji said
"Hmn." Kenshin nodded with a smile. "I understand." He said before chuckling, turning to Issei. "And don't worry. It won't become like the relationship I have with my actual sisters."
"Good, because if it does, I'll kick your fucking ass!" Issei shouts.
"Hahahahaha!" Kenshin chuckles. "I'd expect nothing less, but seriously Issei, Irina's got it bad for you." Kenshin said. "I don't want her like that, but even if I did, I wouldn't be able to pry her away from you." He chuckled. "Same with Asia!"
Touji took Issei's hand. "Issei-kun I beg you, please take care of Irina, that girl was raised while being exposed to the thoughts of the church since she was young. She doesn't know many things as a girl...please allow her to enjoy life as both an Angel and a girl. If it's you two...I believe you will get along while surpassing the ideology and your standings." Touji said.
"Uncle..." Issei said as Touji began to cry once more.
"And please...Dragon of the Elements, Lord Kuroshi, please continue to look upon my Angel as your dear sister. She's never had a sibling, even if Xenovia Quarta could count as a sister."
"Hm..." Kenshin nodded. "I promise, your daughter will always be accepted as a member of my family. To that extent...so will you and your family." Kenshin said with a smile before chuckling. "Irina accepted me before knowing what I truly was, and then continued to accept me." Kenshin said.
"Same here. She found out I was a devil, she tried to punish me, but she let it go, and we've become closer than friends ever since...um...I'm sorry..." Issei said, being reminded that he had actually slept with Irina in the erotic sense.
"It's OK...if it's you...I'm satisfied." Touji said, before beginning to cry. "Why couldn't I say something so simple like that to Yaegaki-kun and here...even if it was against our teachings...why couldn't I do anything? !"
"Like I said...Hindsight is twenty twenty." Kenshin said with a morose look. "You couldn't have predicted this...even dismissing what I said earlier."
"Uncle...I...whoever Irina maybe..." Issei said putting on a determined face. "I love her and think of her as an extremely important girl to me. So I will continue to smile together with Irina."
"Thank you...Thank you..." Touji sobbed out. Issei and Kenshin took this moment to excuse themselves, but bumped into Irina. "Hey...Issei-kun, Kenshin-nii...can I have a second?" Irina asked.
"Of course." Kenshin smiled.
"Yeah, lead the way Irina." Issei said with a smile.
Irina led the two to the rooftop of the medical facility. Issei leaned against the hand rail while Kenshin stood neutrally. "Kenshin-nii...I'm thankful for all your support." Irina said with a smile.
"Hmn." Kenshin smiled back. "Of course Irina-nee...Do you need me to leave so you can have a moment alone with Issei?" Kenshin asked.
"Yes please." Irina said.
Kenshin walked forward and hugged Irina. He smiled as he pulled away. "Good luck, sister." He whispered into her ear, before walking away, patting Issei on the back before disappearing down the hospital stairs.
"Hey...Issei-kun...do you remember what I talked to you about recently...about I started to understand, Rias-san, Kenshin-nii and Asia-san more." Irina said.
"Yeah...you four talked about how you started to get along by talking about my childhood right? Though for Kenshin it was a non-factor." Issei said.
"Yeah. Ever since I returned to Kuoh, not only did I get along with Rias-San, Kenshin-nii and Xenovia who was my former comrade...I also got along with Asia-San, Akeno-San, Koneko-Chan, Yukari-San, Miyuki-Chan, Gasper-kun, Rossweisse-San, Alma-San, Granberia-San, Tamamo-San, Erubetie-San, Hikari-San, Evangeline-San...pretty much Kenshin-nii's entire peerage as well as Rias-San's. I even get along with the Dragon God Ophis-San."
"Yeah...I notice that you even talk to that unapproachable Arthur of Vali's team so carefreely. " Issei said with a smile.
"Oh I don't think he's unapproachable...but...to be honest...I'm full of worries inside me where I go like 'can I get along with this person.', y'know? But I'm Michael-Sama's Ace. I need to make Michael-Sama's compassion into a real form as much as possible." Irina said.
"To personify Michael's Ace, huh..." Issei thought.
"However...there's one thing I've come to question. What if I had remained in Kuoh with Xenovia back then...would have I become a Devil? Rias-San's, Sona-San's, or Kenshin-nii's...would I be different from now. I wonder if I could have got along with the ORC members, Kenshin's group and the Youkai Faction as a Devil."
"Yeah...it was possible had Irina stayed. Kenshin probably would have offered her a position as his Knight, so she could still be close to me." Issei thought.
"Issei-kun is a Devil, and I'm an Angel. Until recently both of us were humans...but we're different now." Irina said.
"Yeah, I was a human until April...and Irina was also a human until Summer." Issei thought before remembering what Kenshin and Zekram had both said
"Yeah." Issei said placing his hands on Irina's shoulders, making her look up at him. "Even so...even if you are an Angel, I don't care. It doesn't change the fact that you are my childhood friend and there's no way that the fact that you're my classmate at Kuoh Academy will change either."
Irina smiles, hearing this, but...she looks down. "If...both Asia and I are in danger, who will you save?"
"Both." Issei said making Irina look up at him with tearful eyes. "That's why I'm desperately trying to get stronger. I said this to Kenshin and he agreed and has been training against me almost nonstop. I don't care if you're an angel, it doesn't change the fact that you're important to me. There is nothing that will stop me from saving you. Us being a Devil and Angel respectively...it doesn't matter."
"..." Irina closes her eyes, still leaking tears. "That was unfair of me...I still asked because I wanted to play you into my arms...even though I knew you'd say that...but...right now...I really wanted to hear that!" Irina cried out.
Issei pulled Irina into his arms. "Irina...I meant what I said earlier. It doesn't matter if you did turn into a Devil...and even if you are an Angel now...what we are won't change...No matter what happens from here on out...I'll love you always."
"Hee...!" Irina cries more, tightening her embraces. "Damn it Issei...you're being unfair too! If you say something like that to me...I won't be able to hold it back anymore...I can't leave you!"
"Then don't." Issei said looking into Irina's eyes with a smile. "Let's smile together again."
"Yes!" Irina said hugging Issei tightly.
Kenshin stood behind the door to the roof of the medical facility, he smiled. "Hm...Issei, Irina, I'm happy for you...like I said before. I will defend your romance." Kenshin said. "You two deserve it." Kenshin said as he walked down the stairs and entered Touji's room.
"What is it Kenshin-Sama?" Touji asked.
Kenshin smiled. "Your daughter and the Sekiryuutei are earnestly in love with each other." Kenshin's smile widened. "As far as their happiness goes...I don't think you need to worry."
Touji smiled at this, looking up at the ceiling. "I see...I'm so glad for this."
"I am too." Kenshin nodded. "Like I said...Issei and Irina are like siblings to me...not as much as Yukari and Miyuki mind you."
Touji chuckled weakly. "I'm happy for that, considering how the latter two are in a more than platonic relationship with you. No offense, I just like Issei and Irina together over you and Irina!"
"Hahaha!" Kenshin chuckled. "Don't worry about it! I love the thought of those two together!" Kenshin said referring to Issei and Irina.

Later.
In Heaven.
While Rias, Akeno, and Irina left to have a discussion with Griselda, everyone else is resting at the open space area...a place similar to a park of First Heaven.
Asia was experimenting whether or not she could summon four new dragons she'd made pacts with, She said to the four dragons she'd summoned after she'd told the Angels they were safe and were nothing to worry about. "Alright then, Anselmus-San, Cyril-San, Gregorios-San and Simeon-San, please behave while you're here in Heaven. It seems the Angels want to have a quick check through all of you, so please follow their instructions. They said there won't be anything scary happening so there's nothing to worry about." Asia said.
"Roger, Affimative, Okay... Dah." The four dragons named Anselmus, Cyril, Gregorios and Simeon all said as several angels appeared around them. They all looked frightened.
"Relax." Kenshin said with a smile. "If they get out of line I'll bop them on the head."
"Even if they're all mass produced, she can still control the Evil Dragons." Xenovia said, eyes widened in amazement.
"I know right?" Kenshin said with a grin. "Tiamat was even shocked when they approached Asia nonviolently."
"Tiamat was even confused by that cooking show Fafnir put on." Yukari drawled.
"From what I heard, Asia-Senpai's name is spreading fast in the World of the Dragons, as the girl who made a pact with Fafnir, the romantic partner of the Sekiryuutei and the little sister figure of the new Dragon of the Elements." Koneko said.
"Yeah, I heard that her fame is spreading because she's taming the Evil Dragons. Because in the past only beings like the Wicked Gods and the Evil Gods were able to tame Evil Dragons in the past." Kiba said.
"Right now Rizevim is doing what a Wicked and Evil God would do...even so, it means Asia-San's talent as a Dragon Tamer is exceptional." Rossweisse said.
"Man, it really seems like her name will be recorded as a legendary Dragon Tamer." Issei said. "I mean she's already doing it anyway, which is amazing."
"Well if it helps her out, I'll tell dragons Issei and I have been tamed by her." Kenshin said with a shrug. "I mean if we can jack some of Rizevim's dragons away from him all the better right? Also..." He turned to Rossweisse. "Your essay on Trihexa's seal is being looked over by the Grigori right? How's that going?"
"It's going. We're trying to develop a countermeasure in case you're the only Primordial that actually responds if the Beast is unsealed. Yama, the Primordial of Death stands against us, Ilias, the Primordial of Light is sealed in God's blade, we could probably ask Tamamo-San to appeal her mother to our cause, but Ophis is weakened and Great Red...we can't involve him in this." Rossweisse said. "So if the beast gets out. We hope to have a method of resealing it ready."
"..." Kenshin nods at this. "Yeah, that's good. If Trihexa and Great Red fight and I'm the only one here who's fought the latter and got absolutely clowned by him...a contingency plan is good."
"...Asia, I'm envious of you..." Xenovia said, looking at the Evil Dragons.
Asia blushed while Yukari glanced curiously at Xenovia. "It's nothing much, I could ask Azazel-Sensei to teach you the dragon pact spell and you could tame Dragons with me." Asia said.
"I mean, she has the ability to tame dragons, but Asia doesn't fight, you have that over her." Yukari said.
"No, I don't mean that. Asia gets loved by everyone. The way she gets loved by everyone makes me want it as well." Xenovia said.
"But Xenovia-San, you're much more charming than me!" Asia said.
"Thank you." Xenovia smiled. "But I don't think I can win the election after the new year if I don't polish myself even more."
"Aaah, so that's what you're worried about." Yukari said before nodding toward Kenshin.
Kenshin smiled and hugged Xenovia with one arm. "I think you're doing fine, but if you think you need improvement, go ahead." He capped off his statement by kissing Xenovia on the cheek. Which actually served to make the bluenette swordswoman blush.
Issei chuckled at Xenovia's rare moment of embarrassment. "That reminds me. Saji was thinking of running for Vice President until he heard Kenshin put his name up for it. That said, I think he'll still do it." Issei said.
"Aah, I see." Kenshin nodded.
"Yeah, I think Sona-San's Bishop Momo Hanakai-San is running for President as well. She will probably gain strong support from the students due to her solid views and for her past achievement of supporting the Student Council from the shadows.
"There are several candidates from the common students as well. There will be many rivals." Xenovia said, with a fire burning behind her eyes.
"But wait, if someone other than Momo-San, Saji-San, Xenovia or Kenshin-nii win, how will the Student Council function? Especially about our true identity." Irina said.
Kazumi heard this conversation and came over. "I wouldn't worry too much about that." Kazumi said with a grin.
Kiba continues. "Chief Rias and President Sona have many things in mind about that. Well, including that part it seems like this upcoming election will be interesting."
Asia bounds forward wrapping her arms around Xenovia. "I'll help you as well Xenovia-San!"
Irina comes forward and wraps her arms around one of Xenovia's arms. "Same here! I will definitely make you win! First of all, let's discuss the details of the manifesto and the pamphlets we will be handing out before the new year!"
Xenovia was caught off guard by the sheer support of her friends, but she felt a pair of arms wrap around her neck gently. She looked behind her to see Kenshin smiling. "Hey, let's try our best right?" Her eyes widened as Kenshin leaned in, kissing her on the lips. "Eh?" Kenshin said, pulling away, seeing tears in Xenovia's eyes.
"Hee...I have such good friends...! And someone behind me that's supportive that it makes me cry!" Xenovia said hugging Asia and Irina while Kenshin hugged her, his cheek nudged against her head.
"Xenovia-San!" Asia said with a smile.
"Xenovia!" Irina said with a wide grin.
"Yeah, Asia, Irina, Kenshin!"
"Amen!" Asia, Irina and Xenovia all said while Kenshin backed away rubbing his head with a smile.
"Man that hurts more without Kuroi Jigoku." Kenshin said.
"W-We're sorry Kenshin-San/Kenshin-nii/Kenshin." Asia, Irina and Xenovia all said.
"Hey don't worry about it." Kenshin said waving them off.
Kiba smiles peacefully, as does Yukari. "I guess we'll be cheering them on as fellow club members and group members."
"Yeah." Yukari said looking down with a smile. "I'm...just so glad Kenshin has a chance to live the life he always deserved...same for us as well."
"Yes, all of us will." Koneko said with a nod.
"Hey..." Issei asked. "How did your magician contracts go? I made one with Le Fay and Kenshin made one with Negi-San."
"Oh us?" Yukari said. "I don't know about Kiba and Koneko, but I made one with Konoka...it was pretty funny to see Setsuna glare at me."
"I made a temporary pact." Kiba said.
"Same here. Same for Akeno-San, Chief Rias, Asia-Senpai, Xenovia-Senpai, Gya-kun and Rossweisse-San haven't decided yet." Koneko said.
"So what are they like?" Issei asked.
"My Magician is a boy. Even though he seems to be in Grade School, he skipped grades. He's young but gifted. He seems avid to meet Kenshin-kun, who was training since he could walk." Kiba said.
"Why didn't you choose a girl?" Issei said with a glower.
"Because...I have Tsubaki-San?" Kiba said.
"Heheh." Issei grinned slapping Kiba on the shoulder. "Good answer pretty boy!"
"My magician is a girl who is the same age as me. She's quite outgoing." Koneko said.
"I see. I even heard from Kenshin, that she made a pact with a quiet girl." Issei said. "I wanna talk about our magicians, Negi-Chan, Konoka-Chan, Kiba, Koneko and Akeno-San's magicians...but Le Fay is a gifted girl. She'll probably achieve many things without my help...honestly that makes me feel bad...and Ravel would get onto me if I said that, and she's waiting for us back home.
"!" Everyone's eyes widened as the 'ground' of Heaven shakes violently. "Everyone get ready! This can't be normal!" Yukari said with a growl.
Kenshin looks around, seeing shocked faces from even the Angels who were watching Asia's Evil Dragons and the Angels who were casually passing by showing the same shocked looks.
"Yeah..." Kenshin said. "Adeat!" Kenshin shouted as both his artifact from Negi and his dual blade from the spirits appear in his hands. He looks up and sees many Enochian, angel symbols appear in the skies.
"What the? !" Issei said.
An Angel appears, wearing a security badge on his chest. "The Evil Dragons, the Qlippoth are attacking us." He said.
"? !" Everyone's eyes widened at this, but Kenshin's eyes narrow into a scowl. "Kuroshi Peerage, unite! ON ME!"
Tamamo, Miyuki, Hikari, Alma, Granberia, Erubetie, Chachamaru and Evangeline all appear behind him. "What is it Kenshin?" Tamamo asked.
"Heaven is being attacked. It's time to go to work." Kenshin said.
"Right!" Tamamo, Hikari, Evangeline, Yukari, Granberia, Miyuki, Alma, Erubetie, Chachamaru and Kazumi all shout.

Later.
Everyone was gathered in a makeshift war room in the First Heaven. Rias, Akeno, Kenshin, Tamamo, Irina and Griselda surround the table. Second, Fourth and Third Heaven which held the souls from the Pure World were being attacked, bringing everyone great worry.
"!" Kenshin's eyes widened. "Ladon, Walburga, Crom Cruach and Heinrich all all attacking as well!"
"Yeah, but...Crom Cruach and Heinrich aren't so enthusiastic about attacking." Issei said.
"...Yeah, you're right Issei." Kenshin said with an unnerved look. "Heinrich...what happened? Did that letter I gave you affect you that much?" Kenshin thought as he watched Heinrich dodge and counter attack the angels that attacked him "Something's wrong." Kenshin said.
"What is it?" Griselda said.
"I don't see any of the Kuroshi and Tsuki clan members Yama revived." Kenshin said with a growl.
"Perhaps he's holding them back." An image appeared at the corner of the table, revealing Azazel.
"Azazel, how are things going over there?" Hikari asked.
"Not good...the entrance to Heaven has been locked up from this side. We can't send you any reinforcements. You haven't found the reason behind it either Griselda?" Azazel asked.
"No. Right now the Seraphims are trying to figure it out, but for the most part they are concentrating on keeping down the influence it will cause on Seventh Heaven...Likewise the whole elevator in Heaven has stopped functioning." Griselda said.
"Yeah, we can't allow them to invade the area where the System rests." Kenshin said.
"Hey, Sensei, by realm of the dead, do you mean..." Issei said.
"If you were to enter Heaven, then there are very few ways to do so. You either go through the main gate like how you did, or you get accepted there as a follower of the Church after your death, but there is a third option to go up there." Azazel said.
"!" Griselda gasped. "Limbo and Purgatory."
"Yeah, they are different from Heaven and Hell, or the Pure and Impure Worlds. It's a place where followers go after death. Limbo and Purgatory were prepared for the deceased with special circumstances. This is just my hypothesis, but there is a chance that bastard Hades who is a god of the realm of the dead either knew, or made an entrance to Limbo or Purgatory."
"Krh...I wouldn't be surprised if Yama helped him out." Kenshin said.
Suddenly an angel burst through the door. "The door of Purgatory which leads to Third Heaven has been destroyed!"
"FUCKING DAMN IT!" Kenshin shouted.
"Eeeiii! K-Kenshin-Sama!" The same angel said.
"Not you." Kenshin said with a frustrated sigh. "We were just talking about that and it turns out it happened." Kenshin said.
"We received a report that Apophis, one of the Legendary Evil Dragons was most likely revived by the Holy Grail, and that he had descended to the realm of the dead." Griselda said.
Rias strokes her chin in thought. "According to the legends, Apophis is one of the dragons who had strong relations with the realm of the dead...and Hell. It wouldn't be surprising for it to descend to the realm of the dead...but I wonder, would Hades cooperate without any reward? He did an evil deed before which resulted in Kenshin and Issei losing their lives. Onii-Sama and Azazel warned him that there wouldn't be a next time recently."
"Well from the new info we had Euclid spit out, there are legendary Evil Dragons which had been resurrected while Rizevim's manipulation isn't working. Those three would be Crom Cruach, Azi Dahaka and Apophis. All three of them are monsters. He said that they made deals with Rizevim."
"Deals?" Rias said.
"Yes Rias. He told them 'I will release you if you take my conditions' I couldn't find out about the deals in detail, but those deals are most likely to be 'make a pact with any God class beings, regardless of the forces they are from'. I don't know about the other two, but Apophis has made a pact with Hades at least. I'm judging that Rizevim gained a way into Heaven from Hades, through Apophis."
"Tch. So an Egyptian Dragon makes a deal with the Greek God of Death which lets a Devil's army march into Heaven." Kenshin growled.
"S-So what? ! So Qlippoth would make an excuse by saying Apophis and others were released or even say that they escaped on their own so making a pact with others was done on their own wills as well? And Hades could even make the excuse that he made a pact with a runaway Evil Dragon and that he hasn't cooperated with Qlippoth? ! There's no way an excuse like that could stand! This is insane!" Issei shouted.
Kenshin glanced at Issei while nodding. "Yeah, I agree Issei...but..."
Azazel nodded toward Kenshin. "It's frustrating, but now isn't the time to be questioning them. We are thinking of trying to open Heaven's gate from this side somehow. So I want your side to try and open it as well." The Brave Saints in the room nod at Azazel's words and move out."
"What are their motives?" Xenovia said with Tamamo nodding.
"Indeed...why would they risk an attack on Heaven itself?" Tamamo asked.
"Could they..." Kazumi paused, but Asia finishes her thought.
"Are they after the 'system' on the uppermost floor?" Asia asked.
"No, they won't be able to get there so easily." Azazel said. "Normally no one besides the Seraphim can step foot in there. If an irregular one enters. He gets teleported to a different location. You can go as far as to call it a work of God due to receiving a really powerful teleportation. Even still we don't know what they will do, so it's natural for Michael and others to strengthen the guard on the uppermost floor."
"Sounds like you've experienced this teleportation for yourself." Hikari said, slightly teasing him.
"Heh, well when I stepped foot in there before, as a normal Angel without God's permission I was sent away to some remote place in the Human's world. I just wanted to take a tiny bit of a look at the Sacred Gear system, but God was so stingy."
"So Qlippoth's aim is..." Issei trailed off.
"They're aiming for one of the floors below Seventh Heaven." Kenshin said.
"Yeah." Azazel said before turning to Issei. "I know what you're thinking, but if their goal was to exterminate the Seraphim, it would be a great achievement sure, but Qlippoth would receive too many casualties to make the endeavor worth it. Same with Sixth Heaven."
"So there is a floor they're after?" Issei asked with Kenshin nodded.
"Yeah, even if it's them. There's a limit to the floor they can advance to with their current manpower. It could be Third Heaven, Fourth Heaven, or it's even possible that it's possible that it's Second Heaven where the place that those related to the Babel's tower are imprisoned." Azazel said.
"What about Fifth Heaven where you were located in the past? Isn't that a research institute right now?" Griselda asked.
"So you think they will go and take the Brave Saints' cards?" Azazel asked. "Well it's not like they aren't interested in it. There should be research being done currently in that place though." Azazel pauses and asks. "Griselda, what's the current situation with the Tree of Life in Third Heaven and the Tree of Wisdom on Fourth Heaven."
Griselda closed her eyes. "They are present but haven't borne fruit in years. The fruits stopped nurturing ever since the lord passed away."
"..." Kenshin remained silent.
Azazel begins to mutter. "Qlippoth, the one which is located on the opposite side of the tree of life. That's what they call themselves. It won't be weird for them to go after it...unsealing Trihexa would go much smoother and quicker with that fruit." Azazel said. "It's possible that they would use it as a tool to negotiate with the Gods from other forces with evil intents."
Hikari heard all this and spoke up. "Azazel. Do you need me to come over there, at least to help comfort your thoughts?"
Azazel grinned. "Any other time I would have accepted, but now? I need you elsewhere."
Hikari smiled back. "Well that's your choice. Your loss though." Hikari giggled.
"Jeez." Tamamo said, waving herself with her fan, smiling. "Are you secretly a succubus Hikari?"
"Oh, not at all. I was just asking him if he needed comfort." Hikari said, eyes closed, smiling at Tamamo.
Tamamo giggled at this. "OK."
Suddenly the vision of Azazel changed to a gate with Masanomi entering through. Kenshin's eyes widened as his forcibly revived family entered with him.
"This is bad. Chief Officer Shidou is in Fifth Heaven in order to receive treatment for the final phase of the poison." Griselda said.
Everyone gasped. "Shit! Masanomi and my deceased relatives? We need to move!" Kenshin said.
"Right! This is bad, the enemy is after Irina's dad! At this rate that man, Yaegaki will certainly...!" Rias said.
Kenshin nodded and waved his arm out. "Seeing as Dulio, Sun Wukong or Azazel aren't physically present, I'm in charge!" Kenshin turned to Irina. "Believe in the angels guarding your father, but still. If you want to rush to his side, go ahead." Kenshin said.
"!" Irina nodded.
"Yes, I was about to suggest that as well. We are the anti terrorist team DxD...we helped defeat Ialda Baoth! Cooperate with the Angels and defeat the Evil Dragons. Irina, like Kenshin said if you want to go to Fifth Heaven and help protect your father go ahead. We'll open the path for you!"
"R-Right! I am the Ace of Michael-Sama! I will defeat the Evil Dragons and rescue Papa!" Irina said.
"By the way...leave the resurrected Kuroshi and Tsuki clansmen to me and my peerage." Kenshin said.
"..." Everyone stared at him. "Kenshin, you don't have to do this alone..."
"No." Yukari said closing her eyes at Rias' words. "It's not about clearing his name to the Great King Faction. He personally wants to see to it that our kinsmen are laid back to rest."
"Yes." Kenshin said, gazing at the image of Masanomi and the resurrected Kuroshi and Tsuki clansmen. "...Trust me. I...don't want to do this, but they'll understand it if it's coming from me." Kenshin said as he turned away. "It's Fifth Heaven right?"
Griselda nodded. "Yes that gate is located at Fifth Heaven. Your kinsmen seem to be spreading out."
"Right." Kenshin nodded back. "We should advance toward Fifth Heaven as quickly as possible, spreading our forces out along the way."
(break)
Moments later.
The DXD group rushed forward through First Heaven and onward to Second Heaven. It was a world conquered by darkness. "Man, is this really Heaven? !" Issei asked.
It's made this way so we can observe the stars, and it's also a place we hold Angels whom have sinned."
Griselda answered.
"Take this!"
"Get Lost!"
"Haa!"
"Take this! Vaporizing Rebellion Sword!"
"Palm of Pure Violence!"
"Dance of Death!"
"Melt Storm!"
Granberia, Alma Elma, Tamamo and Erubetie all charged forward, laying into the Evil Dragons alongside Rias' peerage and the Brave Saints.
Kazumi remained behind Kenshin and Yukari while Evangeline and Chachamaru blasted them from afar with spells and bullets.
"Haaa!" A familiar white winged figure appeared and cleaved an Evil Dragon in two with a sword wreathed in lightning. Shin Raikouken!"
"Nice one, Setsuna-San!" Issei said pumping his fist, covered in his armor.
"Behind you!" Setsuna said only for a hail of spears to lay into the Evil Dragon charging Issei from behind. Both of them looked over to see Kenshin with his hand extended forward, holding Shiroi Tengoku.
"Thanks Kenshin!" Issei said.
"Pay attention!" Kenshin said.
"Brave Saints, Full House Formation!" One of the angels call out.
"SIR!"
The appointed cards that answered the order appear in the sky and glow brightly, that instant, enormous amounts of power of the power of angelic light. The Brave Saints that became the played cards leap into the fray and wipe out the Evil Dragons instantly. Their power is not ordinary, a single attack of their can take down a dozen of Evil Dragons.
"Heh." Kenshin smirked a bit. "Good to see our allies aren't slacking."
"Move with the same suit! We will strengthen the playing cards to wipe them out all at once!" One of the Angels ordered.
"Straight Flush!"
Another strong hand pierces through the herds of Evil Dragons and eliminates them, Griselda turns to the DXD organization.
"I will stay here and give orders!" She said before turning to the Brave Saints. "Be careful at using strong hands consecutively! Your stamina and power of light won't last!"
"Right, good luck Griselda!" Kenshin and Rias said as they and their peerages as well as Sextum, Raynare and Setsuna rush by.
"Secchan, go! Negi-Sensei...or I guess now it's Negi-Chan can protect me until I can summon Yukari through our pact" Setsuna remembered Konoka saying as they were leaving the building in First Heaven that they were in.
As Kenshin's and Rias' peerages rushed forward with their allies, a large shadow looms over them. "Shit." Issei cursed. "It's you again."
"Ladon, you have till the count of ten to move your giant wooden ass, before I set it on fire!" Kenshin said pointing Shiroi Tengoku at him.
"Oh my, do you really think you can do that?" The Evil Dragon Ladon asked as an Evil Dragon army surrounded him. "Come now...I would like you to play with me for awhile."
"Tch." Kenshin scowled. "Sorry. I don't have any time to fuck with you." He rushed forward as a dark aura wrapped around Ladon, before a bubble shaped barrier wrapped around everyone. "Grhh? ! You're...interfering with my magic!"
"Yes, I figured it necessary since you broke out of my barrier in Auros so quickly." Ladon said.
"Ku! This thing! Fucking damn it!"
Kiba, Xenovia, Yukari, and Miyuki all destroy the barriers around them, but it regenerates almost immediately.
"Vaporizing Rebellion Sword!
"Melt Storm!"
"Diamond Plated Fist!"
"Nine Moons!"
Granberia, Erubetie, Alma Elma and Tamamo all break free from their barriers. "Kuu...!" Ladon growls as he encompass Granberia and Alma in barriers, but not before they launched attacks.
"Serene Demon Sword!"
"Shamshir!"
Granberia's and Alma's attacks shattered Ladon's barriers and allowed Tamamo and Erubetie to charge forward unabated. "Take this!" Tamamo roared. "Nine Tails Funeral Pyre!"
"Slime Spears!" Erubetie shouted.
"Gruuaaah!" Ladon growled in pain.
However, while in pain, Ladon relays his barriers over everyone. "You, You're in the way! If I'm not quick then Papa will...!" Irina said slashing at the barrier multiple times with Hauteclere.
"Then we need to destroy it along with him!" Rias said extending her hand forward, an immensely deep crimson aura wrapping around her.
"She's going for Extinguished Star!" Kenshin and Issei both thought.
"I don't think so." Ladon said wrapping a barrier around Rias' hand.
"Kenshin!" Issei said seeing this cancel out Rias' magic.
"Right!" Kenshin and Issei both rush Ladon only for a pillar of light to block their path. The barriers covering everyone disappearing.
"Concentrating heavily on powers like usual...right Dragon of the Elements, Sekiryuutei and the Kuroshi and Gremory groups."
"? !" Issei stared in shock, but Kenshin smirked.
"So you decided to step in, huh, Cao Cao." Kenshin said.
Cao Cao, who had appeared from the pillar of light tapped his shoulder with his spear. "Well, you looked like you needed some help." Cao Cao said.
Ladon narrowed his eyes. "So, it will turn out like this now...the Holy Spear."
"Cao Cao! Why are you here? !" Issei shouted.
Cao Cao turned to Issei, smiling. "I thought I'd go hunting for Evil Dragons since getting out of the Realm of the Dead. I used the same connection to Purgatory to get here." Cao Cao said.
"Heh. Well, if you're helping out, thanks, but if you attack one of ours."
"Yes Yes, You'll come after me. I'm siding with you, not them." Cao Cao waved Kenshin off before pointing the True Longinus at Ladon.
"Hahahaha..." Ladon laughs creepily. "So the man who is famous for being the candidate of the strongest Longinus users has appeared.
"I will take care of this Evil Dragon, but Sekiryuutei, Dragon of the Elements, you are heroes right? Then you should defeat the leaders of the villains, just like how you defeated me." Cao Cao said before pointing his spear forward, toward the gate. "Go."
Ladon laughs at this. "My Oh My...For the Holy Spear user to take their place.
Cao Cao smirked. "It's not just me."
"Balance Breaker! Stake Victim Dragon!"
"Gaahh!" Ladon yelled out as a silver dragon made of blades bit into his back.
"You thought Cao Cao was alone, that was foolish!" Miyuki looked up and smiled, seeing Jeanne commanding Stake Victim Dragon.
"Alright Jeanne-Chan! That's the way!" Miyuki said.
"Hmhm, thanks Miyuki-Chan!" Jeanne said with a bright smile.
Rias turned to Kenshin. "Issei, go with Asia and Xenovia and help her get to Fifth Heaven. Kenshin, I'll keep Kazumi with me and have her make sure we don't get flanked, and if it's not too much trouble, could you spare Chachamaru?"
"Any form of promotion is acceptable." Kenshin said nodding toward Chachamaru. "That sounds good to me Rias!" He then turned to Cao Cao. "And you. Show me what the Hero Cao Cao can really do."
"I won't let you off the hook if you get your ass kicked after making such a grand entrance." Issei said.
"As you wish." Cao Cao said as he releases a torrent of light toward the herd of Evil Dragons while smirking. Right after that, the herds of Evil Dragons are blown away at once along with a massive explosion.
"..." Kenshin smirked at this. "Given what I have to do, I shouldn't be feeling this way, but...I like what I see."
"That spear has unimaginable potential like usual..." Issei drawled.
"The reason I lost before was due to my own weakness since I didn't stick to my path as a human. I don't need Medusa's eye or the Chaos Break. I just need this spear and my pride as a hero and a human. I promised myself I won't let my guard down against Dragons anymore."
"I had forgotten my pride as a human and the reincarnation of the original Jeanne d'Arc...I won't make that mistake again! Cao Cao!" Jeanne said.
"Right. I leave the stragglers to you Jeanne." Cao Cao said tapping his spear against his shoulder.
"Rias! Everyone!" Issei said. "I'll leave this to you!"
"Take care! Everyone else! On me!" Kenshin said as he rushed toward the gate leading toward Third Heaven.
"Yeah...it has always been the task of 'humans' to defeat irregular beings." Cao Cao said as Issei and Kenshin ran by him.
Kenshin narrowed his eyes. "One more time...one more time I must kill my emotions and do what needs to be done." Kenshin thought.
(chapter end)
Draconis: Alright, that's done.
Issei: Is it smart to have Kenshin threatening Lord Bael like that?
Draconis: Look at the way I worded them. Lord Bael has to make the first move for Kenshin's threats to be anything more than idle. Zekram understands this and while he favors his own clan to some extent he is willing to be fair if his descendant...and I quote 'acts a fool'
Kenshin: Anyway.
Draconis: Yeah, let's end this. See you all next time!
Draconis678 out.
