Draconis: Begin!

The next morning, Kenshin was guided by Selene's crewmates to the deck where she waited. "What's up?" Kenshin asked.

"Nothing, it's just my crew detected three stowaways." Selene said as the door opened up behind Kenshin.

"?" Kenshin turned only to facepalm. "Rami, Rumi, Remi, what are you doing here? I thought you were only visiting Succubus Village."

Rami stepped forward, her huge breasts rocking about. "That's what we set out to do!"

Remi shyly stepped forward. "But we...uhm..."

"What?" Kenshin questioned making Remi stumble and fall back out of surprise.

Rumi stepped forward as well. "We don't know what it is OK?" She said brushing her white hair out of her eyes.

"Yeah, we just felt drawn to come with you." Rami said brushing her blond locks out of her eyes, helping Remi up who brushed her blue bangs aside.

"I see...well if you truly couldn't help it, I understand, just be careful OK?" Kenshin said.

"OK~!" Rami, Rumi and Remi all said.

Kenshin watched as the three imps went back into the cabin. "How much longer until we're at the ship. It was on the horizon yesterday, but it was still far."

"We should be there within the next hour." Selene nodded.

"I see. You and your crew will man the ship, while my group and I go and investigate." Kenshin said.

"I was going to suggest the same. It's not like we'll be of much help." Selene said.

"Right." Kenshin said walking back into the cabin. Tamamo, Evangeline, Yukari, Miyuki, Alma and Erubetie all came toward him. "We're due at the ship in another hour." Kenshin said.

"Our main job is to protect Kenshin." Tamamo said.

"?" Kenshin turned to her. "Wait...why?"

"Because you're the only male aboard this ship." Tamamo said. "They'll want to force you to mate with them as soon as they see you."

"Uh...I'm kind of afraid to ask, but what does that entail?" Kenshin asked.

"They will make you cum all over them, focusing the stream onto their eggs, which they will proceed to lay..." Tamamo paused before sighing. "Up your ass."

"!" Kenshin cringed in disgust at the mental image. "Please tell me you're lying."

"I wish I were." Tamamo said with a sigh.

"Ulgh..." Kenshin's faced turned green. "'Scuse me for a moment." He said.

The women all watched him go into the next room before they heard a retching sound followed by "WHY? ! JUST WHY? !"

"Not gonna lie...I kinda saw that coming." Evangeline said.

"No kidding." Yukari said with a deadpan stare directed at Tamamo.

Tamamo sweatdropped with a nervous smile. "Uhm...if it helps Mother sealed them away for being too rambunctious until Selene happened along it."

"It doesn't." Yukari said.

"I imagine these things breed thousands at a time." Miyuki said. "Honestly we should probably just exterminate them so no one can repeat Selene's mistake. I mean if even your mother couldn't reign them in and she was the Dark Goddess."

"Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree, but at the same time I'd rather not wantonly kill off three of my sister's daughters." Tamamo said. "I have something else in mind."

"Being?" Erubetie asked.

"We could reseal them, using a stronger seal. When mother sealed them, it was still relatively early in the Divine Wars." Tamamo said. "This time we'll seal them away using a more powerful seal. One that we used on ourselves."

"Hmn...I see. The Six Ancestors Great Seal." Evangeline said. "That could work, and it's not like anyone but us and your family are making trips down this way."

"What do you think?" Alma said.

"Hrm...killing them permanently solves the problem, but if only for Tamamo's peace of mind, we can seal them." Miyuki said.

"Anyway. I have a suggestion." Everyone turned to see Kenshin walking back in. "I was listening in after I finished puking my guts up. Tamamo, you can carry the seal with you right?"

"Yes?" Tamamo asked.

"We give it to Kanon when we get to where Alipheese and your sisters are." Kenshin said. "They're her damn responsibility. She should watch over the seal, not us."

Tamamo nodded. "Yes, I agree."

"So it's settled then?" Evangeline said.

"Also, maybe not all of us should go aboard." Miyuki suggested. "Barriers don't last forever, what if us merely entering breaks it?"

"True..." Tamamo said. "Miyuki, you, Erubetie and Evangeline stay here. Alma, Yukari, Kenshin and I will go aboard."

"Right." Miyuki nodded. "What do these things look like anyway?"

"Trust me, you'll know them when and if you see them." Tamamo said. "Anyway, everyone go get ready."

"Right."

Meanwhile at the Deadlands.

Alipheese was resting against a rock face. Her eyes were closed. She was reflecting on the past. Her conflicts with Ilias, that were mainly motivated by Ilias herself. Alipheese herself would have been content if they just left each other alone as being near each other only caused them pain...she would have been fine sharing the world with her. Just so long as they never met face to face, letting their children coexist among each other.

She thought about when she heard that a man named Yama appeared in the Divine Realms to join Ilias' cause, she only remembered him because he had approached her as well, but demanded a death match against one of her first children. Her brow twitched, her lips downturning. She balked at his request. "You honestly expect me to sacrifice one of my generals, one of my own daughters to gain your services?" She said, venting her power, making Yama back away. "You must be either very brave or very stupid...get out of my sight before I devour you."

Had Ilias done the same she wondered at the time. "Ilias, please tell me you and I at least agree on something. Don't tell me you sacrificed one of your daughters." She said seeing Yama fighting against her forces

She remembered Ilias' silence as she glared away. This was the first time she'd ever felt disgusted with Ilias. "I can't believe you...and I don't see Lucifina either. Wasn't she your most loved daughter? !"

She was about to recall the day she met Ragnarok when a light thud reached her ears. She opened her eyes and saw Saja and Minagi.

"Sorry Mother, were you sleeping?" Saja asked.

"No, just recalling some past memories." Alipheese replied.

"...Were they at least good ones?" Minagi asked.

"...Unfortunately no." Alipheese said. "I was recalling the time that Shinigami tried to enter our ranks."

"Oh yeah...you never told us why you turned him away." Minagi said. "Don't get me wrong, guy was kinda creepy back then, before he turned into a full on psychopath."

"He wanted a deathmatch with one of you." Alipheese said. "Now don't get me wrong I had the utmost confidence in each of you, but I was not about to risk your lives in such a manner to recruit one man."

Saja smiled at this. "Of course Mother, thank you for your consideration."

"So, what news do you bring, my beloved daughters." Alipheese asked with a smile.

"Saja and I spotted a ship heading toward here last night. We would have told you sooner, but when we detected it, you actually were asleep and didn't want to interrupt." Minagi said.

"After a second check, it seems to be making a small stop." Saja said.

"I already know who it is." Alipheese said. "Ragnarok's reincarnation is coming."

"After the beating you gave him before, I'm surprised he'd come after you." Minagi said.

"I'm not." Alipheese said closing her eyes with a smile. "Before we fought. He said he'd never run from a fight. In short he has unfinished business with me."

"I see..." Saja said. "Well we won't let him harm you."

"You may not have a choice. Last time he came alone, you think he's foolish enough to do it again?" Alipheese said.

"Of course he isn't." The three turned to see Draco approaching. "He's for sure bringing a party to equal you all."

"He is. Last night I overheard them all talking." Saja said. "Apparently I'm to be facing his little sister. Hah, does he underestimate me?"

"I don't think so." Draco said. "She has the same power as Kenshin, just to a lesser degree."

"Hrm...I still feel like I'm being underestimated." Saja grunted.

"Well I'm facing his Succubus Queen." Minagi said.

"Well that should be easy for you." Draco said.

"Eh we'll see." Minagi said.

"Kanade is facing another slime named Erubetie." Saja said.

"Hmn...should be a good test for her after all these years." Alipheese said.

"Hiruko's facing his twin sister...and I've sensed them...they've mated, numerous times." Minagi said.

"Well with both clans on the verge of extinction, I'm not surprised." Draco said.

"Well, they kind of act less like siblings and more like lovers." Minagi said.

"Isn't every male youkai you've ever tried to bang a brother or family to you?" Draco asked.

"I'm just saying. Twin siblings loving each other that much?" Minagi asked.

"What you're thinking is correct. It's not all her fault though. They were separated at birth, separated again at six, plus Yukari's the sister that went back in time with Kenshin. They were both pillars to lean against back then. If they didn't have each other, neither would be here." Draco explained. "They trust their backs to each other. Plus, she's his Knight in his peerage or collection of servants. This gives her an increased speed boost alongside the spirits. Maybe he's hoping that will be enough against Hiruko."

"Kanon's in the most trouble though. She maybe able to hold her own against anyone, but Kenshin's slotted an ice mage vampire against her." Saja said. "That's her weakness."

"That and Draco, if she's truly loyal to Kenshin, you'll be facing Tamamo." Minagi said.

"Niiiiiiccceee..." Draco drawled with a smile. "The lovesick kitsune who finally found a lover that won't die on her against the lovesick archer who's still trying to get his back."

"What do you mean?" Alipheese asked.

Ragnarok reincarnated him into his position as the Primordial of Life. Like you, he won't die unless someone kills him. Yama and Ilias are the same way." Draco answered. "Tamamo views him as the lover she'll never lose to death because he promised the Yonseirei he wouldn't die."

"..." Alipheese went silent. "So he's coming at me with everything hm?" She asked.

Draco blinked at the smirk on her face. "I mean, he'd be a fool not to."

"Good...all of you fight your assigned opponents, but leave Kenshin to me." Alipheese said.

Saja stared at her mother. "I've seen this before...mother wants this Kenshin's full power. Mother...just...please stay safe." She thought.

"Leave me and Draco alone." Alipheese said.

"Right." Saja said.

"Have fun Draco~" Minagi playfully said as they left.

"Er...you're not going to feed off me are you?" Draco said with a small sweat. "Ragnarok would tell me about some of your sessions with him and-"

"Hahahaha, worry not Draco I'm not hungry in that way." Alipheese said. "I merely wanted to talk in private with you."

"Oh, well then what's up?" Draco asked.

"I received a prayer last night. A peculiar request." Alipheese said.

"What was it?" Draco asked.

"Please let everyone make it out of this OK...please don't make me kill the Dark Goddess, the creator of Youkai." Alipheese repeated.

Draco closed his eyes. "It was from Kenshin, had to be."

"Why would he pray for such a thing? We barely know each other." Alipheese asked. "That beating I gave him should have infuriated him."

"Well..." Draco said. "I could say it's because Tamamo, one of your daughters is in love with him, but it's more than that."

"How so?" Alipheese asked.

"As the Dragon of the Elements and the Primordial of Life. He shares an empathic link to the past Dragons of the Elements. This includes Ragnarok."

Alipheese's eyes widened a bit. "So you're saying..."

"I am...though Kenshin himself may not want to kill you for his own reasons. Ragnarok's emotions and feelings toward you also play a part." Draco said. "Kenshin feels them alongside his own. He may not want to kill you for Tamamo's sake, but Ragnarok's-" Draco trailed off.

Alipheese bowed her head her hair shadowing her eyes. "Please leave."

"Of course Lady Alipheese...and I'm sorry." Draco bowed in respect before leaving.

The Dark Goddess' head remained bowed, but two trails of tears rolled down her cheeks. "Ragnarok...Kenshin, I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to do." She thought.

Back with Kenshin

Kenshin, Yukari, Alma and Tamamo all boarded the ship. "...OK did anyone else feel that?" Alma asked.

"Yeah." Yukari said. "There's definitely a barrier here."

Tamamo tapped her fan against her cheek. "Seems it's designed not to keep something out, but rather keep it in."

"Well Selene's story checks out." Kenshin said crossing his arms. "Still to erect a barrier of this magnitude...I don't think we're going to be able to leave until the Beelzebub youkai are dealt with."

"Well, let's get to it then." Yukari said. "Tamamo, you're the most familiar with them, lead the way."

"Right." Tamamo nodded.

Before they could move very far however, a youkai approached them. "Aah, a man after being trapped her for so long..." The woman had the upper body of...well...a woman, but her lower body...

"Wait, is that a starfish?" Yukari asked.

"Indeed." Tamamo answered.

"Sorry lady, not on the menu." Kenshin snorted. "Make a move and my lady friends here might not hold back."

"Jeez, coulda just said no." The woman huffed.

"Well next time don't have such a vapid, hungry look in your eyes." Kenshin snapped. "...Obviously you're not the purpose of this barrier."

"Oh, you're here for them." The starfish woman said. "Well then I'll leave you to it. The sooner they're dealt with the sooner I can leave. Head that way." She said pointing toward the stairs.

"Thanks." Everyone said as they proceeded into the ship.

"Hm?" The starfish woman paused seeing three figures proceed after them. "Eh, none of my business."

Kenshin felt like they were being followed and unsheathed Angel Halo turning around, only to groan. "Rami, Rumi, Remi. The fuck? This isn't a safe place for the three of you."

"Wait...hang on..." Tamamo said seeing them all panting heavily. "Are you three OK?"

Kenshin took notice of this as well. "Hey, what's the matter?" Kenshin said. "Talk to me."

"Hnnn!" Rami fell to her knees, her form pulsing as a strange seal flared up on her chest.

"Hey!" Yukari said, seeing similar things happen to Rumi and Remi.

Rami's hair began lengthening and even going as far as to turn purple. A red band appeared on her head and her clothes changed. She now wore black leggings and a beige off the shoulder sweater. Her horns grew and lengthened wrapping around her head.

"What the?" Kenshin said.

"A-Aaah..." Rumi gasped out as her hair lengthened and turned red. However, as Rami's new look was modest. Rumi's new look left her with next to nothing on. A pair of black leggings and white panties or a thong.

"Hyaaaa...!" Remi's hair lengthened as well and turned teal. She wore a white top that exposed a lot of cleavage and white leggings.

"The hell?" Yukari said.

The three of them got up and brushed themselves off. Tamamo blinked. "Wait...Lilianna, Astaroth, Morrigan?"

"Aunt Tamamo?" The purple haired succubus looked up. "Yeah it's me Lilianna."

"Ugh I'm gonna kill Mom next time I see her!" The red head shouted in frustration.

"Astaroth-nee, you know Mom would whoop your ass." The tealette said with a coy smile.

"Shaddap Morrigan!" Astaroth yelled.

"Oh my Mom..." Tamamo said pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Minagi, you punished them by sealing them, why didn't you break the seal before we all had to seal ourselves?"

"Uhh...OK...I'm officially lost here. WHO are these three?" Kenshin asked.

"These three are my nieces from Minagi." Tamamo sighed. "Yukari, Alma, Kenshin meet Lilianna, the purple haired one, Astaroth, the redhead and Morrigan the teal haired one.

"Uhh..." Kenshin looked around as the three crowded around him.

"Oooh, such a handsome man." Lilianna cooed.

"And a strong one too." Astaroth tracing her fingers over one of Kenshin's arms.

"I wonder how good he is." Morrigan said.

Suddenly Alma cut between them and pushed Kenshin away from them. "Back off!" Alma said with a possessive glare.

"Alma?" Kenshin said.

"Oh? My apologies, we hadn't realized you were spoken for." Lilianna said with a smile.

"Eh, unfortunate, but thems the breaks." Morrigan shrugged.

"You're denying yourself a wealth of pleasure." Astaroth chided making Alma glare even more.

"Wanna take this outside?" Alma said.

Tamamo punched Astaroth over the head. "That's quite enough. You know how possessive your kind is when they hone in on a mate."

"Whoa, wait what?" Kenshin said.

"Hm? Are we shy?" Lilianna teased. "A shy succubus who hasn't staked her claim."

"..." Alma frowned. "I'm not shy, he just has a harem. Hard to get him alone. I at least want to do it with him alone first."

"A harem? My how perverted. Though I do sense some incubus in him." Liliana said.

"Uh technically you three are in one too." Kenshin said. "Seriously...did the transformation zap your memories?"

"Not at all." Astaroth shrugged. "That guy's in for a surprise when we get back, but...if she hasn't staked her claim..." Lust shined in her eyes. "I'll be happy to take you for a ride."

"That easy?" Astaroth asked.

"I don't think with my dick, seriously I was even able to reject your mom's advances." Kenshin said with a snort. "Besides in a funny way she and I have a history together and the whole harem thing? I basically walked backwards into it."

"As for staking a claim..." Alma paused to yank Kenshin toward her, an arm wrapping around his neck as their lips met, the Succubus Queen immediately prying his lips apart with her tongue, slipping and sliding it against his "Mmmm~" She moaned in delight as she felt Kenshin starting to fight back. She grabbed one of his hands, slipping it under her corset, making him grope her breast while her tail wrapped around his other hand and brought it to her ass.

Kenshin, taking the hint, lifted her up and pinned her against the wall, one of her legs wrapping around his waist. She couldn't help the excited moan she let out when Kenshin pinned her against the wall.

"My my~" Tamamo said waving herself with her fan with a smile.

"Such passion~" Liliana giggled.

"Yeah, she's got it bad." Morrigan shrugged.

"No kidding." Astaroth said. "Giving off such a reaction to us trying to take him."

"Jeez..." Yukari sighed.

The kiss between Alma Elma and Kenshin finally ended. "Haa..." She let out a pleased sigh before smiling at Kenshin, winking. "You uh...gonna let me down there big guy?"

Kenshin set her down and she adjusted her corset. "Jeez Alma give a guy some warning before you try and suck his tongue out of his mouth."

"You liked it~" Alma giggled. "And the way you took control there, pinning little ol' me against the wall like that. I thought you were going to take me right in front of everyone."

"Not gonna lie, I did feel something heat up in me while we were doing that." Kenshin shrugged.

"Probably your long buried incubus instincts." Tamamo said fanning herself. "They responded to her aura as the Succubus Queen."

"Huh, now that I think about it. The same thing happened when Alice took me for a three day ride in order to get pregnant." Kenshin said.

"Excuse me? Three days?" Morrigan asked. "How are you not a dried up husk?"

"Wealth of youki and mana kept me going." Kenshin shrugged.

"Ah, yeah that'd do it." Morrigan nodded before stretching her arms over her head. "Haaaa~! Feels so good to be back in my true form~!"

"Uh guys, did we all forget what we came here to do?" Yukari said.

"Wait, what are you here to do exactly?" Liliana asked.

Kenshin explained the situation, making all three of Minagi's daughters frown. "Oh...those bitches." Morrigan said.

"Grandmother sealed them away for a reason. They wanted to give birth to thousands of themselves and take over the Divine Realms and Makai. Even Aunt Kanon agreed they should be sealed and apologized to Grandmother for not being able to control them." Astaroth said.

"Kenshin, correct?" Liliana asked.

"Yeah?" Kenshin asked.

"Please allow us to deal with Barbarella, Striga and Media." Liliana said. "We can finally show what we're made of and settle an old grudge."

"...I mean...it'll help us conserve our strength for the fights we're going into when we land on the Deadlands." Kenshin shrugged. "You wanna take your shot, be our guests."

"Fine, because they're through here." Astaroth said approaching a nearby door before casually kicking it in. What Kenshin saw was a standard captain's cabin, but with three women crowded around the desk. They had turned their heads to them, eyes immediately landing on Kenshin.

"Oh my, a man at long last." The woman with the darkest carapace said narrowing her purple eyes.

"Come here...and make babies with us." The woman with the red carapace offered with a friendly smile.

"Come here...give us all children." The one with the dark green carapace cooed out lazily.

"Sorry ladies, but I don't feel like getting a ton of insect youkai eggs laid up the southern exit." Kenshin said.

"Well then...would you prefer the urethra?" The woman with the red carapace asked. "Is it still forbidden? Barbarella?"

"You lay eggs up there too? !" Kenshin blanched. "What in the actual fuck? !"

Barbarella, the one with the purple eyes eyed him curiously. "Is something wrong with that?"

"YES! YES THERE IS!" Kenshin shouted.

Striga, the red Beelzebub blinked. "What's wrong with it?"

"Men aren't just nests for your brats!" Kenshin snapped. "Plus...why do you all have tits on your tails? !"

"Honestly, I was about to ask that myself." Yukari said.

"Why to feed the children of course." Media, the green Beelzebub said.

"..." Kenshin glowered. "Liliana, Astaroth, Morrigan, take care of my light work, this is the first time I'm actively bailing on a fight out of utter disgust and this is coming from someone who had to cut himself out of a giant's stomach before!" Kenshin said turning around. "If anyone needs me I'll be tossing my guts out." With that said he turned and walked out of the room, going on a rant on his way out.

Liliana sent Tamamo a blank stare. "Is he usually like that?"

"Not really..." Tamamo said with a nervous smile, sweatdropping.

"Yeah, that's actually the first time I've seen him just be absolutely done with someone." Yukari said, her eyes becoming black dots.

Evangeline, Erubetie, Miyuki and Selene watched Kenshin come back onto the deck. "Onii-Chan, is everything OK?" Miyuki asked.

"Where are the others?" Evangeline asked.

"They're fine." Kenshin said before glaring at Selene. "Your past greed has put images in my head that all the brain bleach in the world can't wash away. I hope you're happy Flying Dutchwoman's Ghost. Now if you don't mind I'm going to try and drink the images away."

Selene turns to everyone with a nervous smile. "In my defense, I didn't know what was actually in the box until it was too late."

"It's fine." Miyuki laughed with a sweatdrop. "I'm sure that was just Onii-Chan acting out of disgust with the youkai in there rather than you. Uh...Erubetie, how's he doing? Can you see?"

"Hang on." Erubetie closed her eyes as a bit of her seeped into the deck and up to the crows nest. She reappeared a moment later. "He's chugging liquor."

"I thought so." Miyuki said with an exasperated sigh.

Meanwhile Media swung her tail at Morrigan who leaped over it and smirked. "Oh come on Media, did you really think an attack like that will stop me? !" Morrigan shouted as she leaped forward and decked Media across the face. She leaped back and shot her hand out "Aero!" She yelled blowing the green Beelzebub into the wall.

"You!" Barbarella shouted wrapping her tail around Morrigan.

"Heh! Bad move!" Morrigan smirked. "Psy Caress!"

"A-Aaah!" Barbarella gasped out in pleasure as the numerous pairs of boobs on her tail were rubbed and stroked as a teal aura wrapped around Morrigan. "Th-This is...!"

"Hahaha, that's right, you remember don't you Barbarella? Most times I don't need to touch a man to make them cum. I just use a psychokinetic aura to tease them to release, but you don't get that. Lili-Onee! Now!"

"Right!" Liliana dove toward Barbarella. "Rush Slap!"

"Aaagh!" Barbarella gasped out as she was slapped across the face numerous times. Liliana making sure to scratch her nails across her face. "You!"

"You!" Striga rushed after her only to be halted by Astaroth getting in between them.

"Succubus Slap! Squall!" Astaroth shouted as she smacked Striga before blowing her and her sisters backward, making Barbarella release Morrigan.

"Haa! Thanks sis!" Morrigan said with a grin.

"Don't thank me, pay more attention." Astaroth said.

"She says you're welcome." Liliana giggled.

Morrigan got out of Barbarella's tail bind and appeared in front of Media. "Now, where were we?"

"About here I believe." Media yawned before inhaling deeply. "Freezing Breath." She exhaled.

"Ghh!" Morrigan crossed her arms as the chilling breeze hit her. "? !" Her eyes widened as a blast of flames canceled it out. She turned to see Yukari with her hand extended toward. "Hey, thanks for the assist, but could you not interfere anymore? We actually have business with these three."

"I just thought you needed the help and your sisters are busy. If you want to fight them alone that's fine." Yukari shrugged.

"Thanks Yukari-neesan." Morrigan grinned.

"Hmhm." Yukari laughed a bit as Morrigan turned back to Media.

"Anyone else feel like we're unnecessary here?" Alma asked.

"Well it's not like we were expecting Rami, Rumi and Remi to be Minagi's daughters in sealed forms. Let's let Morrigan, Astaroth and Liliana have their fun." Tamamo said before turning to them. "Liliana, Astaroth, Morrigan, I know you have business with them, just don't kill them. Aunt Kanon will be sad if you do. I'll seal them away after you're done."

"'Kay~!" Liliana, Astaroth and Morrigan said.

"What is your problem with us? !" Barbarella shouted at Liliana stabbing her hands at the succubus.

"You three took men that belonged to us!" Liliana said.

"And I...hhhaave...busishiness to shettle whith...Alipheeshe." Kenshin slurred. "I want to get this boat moving!" Kenshin said to Liliana. "Shtand dowhn...and I'll treaht you ahll to an ahll you canh eat buffet with Isshei..."

"Is he really that good?" Morrigan asked.

"He has a weapon named the Boosted Gear which can transfer boosts to anything..." Alma paused to wink with a smile, petting her hand over her crotch. "And I do mean...anything."

The three Succubus sisters eyes lit up in excitement. "Deal!"

Liliana flew by Kenshin patting him on the back. "Well, they're all yours."

"Thank..yhou..." Kenshin said readying Angel Halo.

"Oh look sisters, the male from earlier who was disgusted with us wishes to challenge us now." Barbarella said with a haughty laugh.

Kenshin's slurring stopped as he focused. "Tamamo...get ready."

"Right." Tamamo said as she brought her hands close to her chest, ready to make handsigns.

"Come on, what are you waiting fo-ulgh? !" Striga coughed up blood as Kenshin slashed her with Angel Halo.

"Flash Kill! Tornado!"

"Aaaaagghhh!" Striga cried out as a vortex of wind surrounded her, cutting her limbs and torso.

"Hrm!" Kenshin slashed Angel Halo downward, dispelling the tornado.

"You!" Barbarella charged after him, looking to wrap him up in her tail.

Kenshin disappeared and reappeared in front of her. "I may be drunk right now...but...fuck you for putting those images in my head. Ninefold Rakshasa!"

"A-Aaaghhh!" Barbarella fell to her knees, feeling her mana itself draining. "What is that sword? !"

"It's a sword of sealing, forged by the second angel of Ilias' choirs, Lucifina." Tamamo said. "After she died, it fell to Makai where the Youkai Hero Heinrich Hein found it."

"You...You won't beat us!" Media shouted stabbing at Kenshin with her tail only for him to disappear. "!" She looked up.

"Heavenly Demon Revival! Gaia!" Kenshin shouted.

"A-Aaaggh!" Media cried out, falling to the floor.

"...Unngh...unnngh..." Kenshin fell backward with a smile on his face as Yukari caught him.

"Finally...it's quiet...now I can shleeep..." Kenshin said with his eyes closed, immediately snoring.

"Tamamo...just seal them before he gets back up." Yukari sighed.

"Right." Tamamo said extending her hand toward the three unconscious Beelzebubs. "Six Generals Great Seal!"

The three Beelzebubs disappeared and a piece of paper appeared in Tamamo's hand. "OK, let's go." Tamamo smiled.

The group arrived back on Selene's ship and she saw Kenshin being carried, sleeping on Yukari's back. "Is he the only one who can send us?" Selene asked.

"Unfortunately yes." Yukari sighed with a smile. "Sorry, but he's not getting up for awhile."

"I see." Selene said with a smile of her own. "Well at least let me hold up my end of our agreement and ferry you to the Deadlands then."

"That sounds fine." Tamamo smiled. "I'll explain it to Kenshin when he wakes up."

"But what about your return trip?" Selene asked.

"Oh don't worry about that. We have a ship of our own, but didn't know how to get to the Deadlands. Tamamo could have directed us sure, but then you appeared." Yukari said before turning to the now disappearing Ghost Ship. "Eh?"

"We are at peace so the ship serves no purpose anymore. We just need Kenshin to send us to the Pure World." Selene said with a smile.

"I see." Yukari nodded. "You got a spare cabin to put him in?"

"Follow me Yukari-San, Tamamo-San." Selene smiled.

With Issei.

The showdown with the Church rebels was tomorrow. Issei walked by one of the classrooms in the ORC room to see Xenovia deciding what her speech for election day was about.

"Um...the reason I'm running in the Student Council Election is..." Xenovia trailed off.

"What about Kuroshi-San? Where is he?" Kiryuu said sitting across from Xenovia, acting as an interviewer.

"Hrmn. Kenshin-San had to attend to some urgent business in his hometown, otherwise he would be here." Xenovia said.

"That's fair." Kiryuu said before letting out a sigh. "No offense Xenovia, but compared to the usual conventions, perhaps being bold and using humor is feasible."

"I dunno." Irina said, sitting next to Kiryuu. "I think that an action style would be even better than trying comedy. Prepare a target and Xenovia will slice it cleanly in half, then have a video of Kenshin-nii doing the same thing." Irina said.

"Let's just get back to this after a break." Asia offered sitting next to Irina.

Issei walked up to Kiryuu. "Hey Kiryuu."

She turned to him. "What's up? You look so serious, it's not like you."

"A devil is here at this school as the Student Council President, isn't it a bit strange?" Issei asked.

"Honestly. The existence of Devils, demons and angels...it defies common sense. This magic stuff is way too exaggerated." Kiryuu said.

"...Also..." Issei said. "Hey Kiryuu, about Kyoto...do you?"

"No, not at all." Kiryuu said with a smile.

"Wait...really?" Issei asked.

"What?" Kiryuu said with a laugh. "At least you made me feel good, which is more than I can say for most guys when they pop their cherry."

"Uh...you actually weren't my first." Issei said poking his fingers together.

"Oh? Who was then?" Kiryuu asked.

"I-Irina." Issei said. "Please keep it secret, for her sake."

"Hmhmhmhm, you're adorable." Kiryuu laughed softly. "Alright, I won't tell anybody." She sighed. "But getting back to the subject at hand. There's no reason things like this can't be possible, right? I mean." She paused to pull out a pistol. "I've got a half demon teaching me how to shoot guns and it's not like Rias, Sona, or even Xenovia and Hanakai are trying to confine and eat us. They're not dictating the school, nor are they trying to lure us into darkness right?" Kiryuu paused to pull her glasses off to clean them. "Even someone like Kenshin who had been sorely mistreated by humans, strives to protect them alongside Devils, Demons, and both kinds of angels." Kiryuu said putting her glasses back on. "They aren't trying to kill us, if Sona, Rias and Kenshin are any indication...perhaps the devils here that are more powerful than humans will come to protect us in a dire situation."

"..." Issei stared at Kiryuu in astonishment.

Kiryuu went on. "Also...Xenovia, Asia, Irina and Miyuki-Chan are my friends. Their identities as supernatural beings doesn't mean anything...and then there's you." Kiryuu said, a glint appearing in her eyes. "You never stopped being a pervert, so really nothing's changed. I'll continue here at Kuoh as a student."

"Kiryuu." Issei said looking at her with a smile.

"Are you happy that I recognize you and Asia?" Kiryuu asked with a mischievous looking smile.

"Yeah." Issei said.

"Haa...You over think things too much. People are people they can be good or bad. It doesn't matter if they're human, demon, devil, angel or fallen angel." Kiryuu said. "Honestly, I don't want to say this to you as a fellow Japanese person, but you're looking at things too pessimistically."

"Thanks Kiryuu...um..." Issei paused.

"What's up?" Kiryuu asked.

"I know we did it in Kyoto, but...could I..." Issei trailed off.

Kiryuu blushed a bit, seeing Issei looking at her lips, but it faded and she smiled. "Come on...be a man and take my lips." She said closing her eyes. Issei wrapped his arms around Kiryuu and kissed her, even going as far as to lift her off her feet. "Mmmuu..." Kiryuu moaned into him as he sat her down and pulled away. "God damn...where did you learn how to do that?" She asked.

"I didn't do that much..." Issei said.

"Didn't-? ! You were practically trying to suck my tongue out of my mouth! It felt amazing!" Kiryuu shouted before sighing with a smile. "I know you got a lot of lovers harem boy, but don't forget about me OK?"

"Of course I won't." Issei said before kissing her on the cheek. "All my girls are precious to me." He said. "Anyway I gotta go, take good care of Xenovia, Kiryuu!" Issei said running away.

"Leave it to me. I'll do my best." Kiryuu said puffing her chest out as Issei left. She cupped the cheek Issei kissed with a smile. "Issei...underneath that perversion...you're really sweet." She whispered with a giggle.

"Hey Ddraig...can you tell if Kenshin has been training like this?"

"Yeah. He's even having his kitsune unbind his seal." Ddraig answered.

Issei was floating above the pool in his basement, silently allowing energy to wrap around his body. "I see...he's trying to figure out the Demigod State."

"Yeah, even though he's far away, I can even sense it's capable of more than it's shown." Ddraig said.

"And me?" Issei asked.

"Well look at you." Ddraig said. "Meditating while flying in midair with dragon wings without armor."

"Even though I had to dim the lights to concentrate better." Issei thought.

"Nothing of value's built in a day." Ddraig commented. "You'll get used to it."

"Yeah but Ken-"

"Kenshin's been training since he was five and he had a time travel saga which afforded him twenty extra years. He's had time but it wasn't ALL spent training. You're closer to him than you think you are."

"And the Demigod State?" Issei thought.

"Shiva was right. I also feel something trying to awaken inside of you." Ddraig said. "Keep going. It will come, just like it did with Kenshin. It's not like he expected the Demigod State...Kenshin just awakened his potential earlier. Both of your bodies were made by Great Red and they inherited Ophis' power or blessing. Because of this unprecedented changes will happen...and your bodies may also contain unbelievable hidden potential." Ddraig said.

"So not even you know?" Issei asked.

"Ah, yes. Thing is...even though it's worrying, and I bet even Kenshin's spirits have talked to him about this. We should just let it be. I mean to this day we've overcome an innumerable number of crises." Ddraig said before clearing his throat. "Whether it's a human, demon, devil or dragon, their upbringings will be different and their values and experiences will be different. Naturally there will be disagreements. All you can hope for is that the grudges between them won't grow larger."

"Ddraig...that was pretty wise." Issei thought.

"Don't give me too much credit. Some of that came from Ragnarok Kuroshi." Ddraig said.

"Still." Issei thought.

"This is what you call peace, but there are people who have suffered as a result." Vali's words rang in his head.

"I bet even Kenshin has thought about this in the back of his mind." Issei thought. "Was this peace painful to the Dark Goddess as well?"

"I don't think so." Ddraig said. "Kenshin told his kitsune lover that the Dark Goddess was crying as she left and Kenshin's profusely promised this kitsune that he would not kill her."

"Tamamo-San's in love with Kenshin...that's why..." Issei shook his head and patted his cheeks roughly. "Tamamo-San and Kenshin can handle themselves and they have allies in Evangeline, Erubetie-Chan Alma-San and Yukari and Miyuki." Issei said before focusing on himself. "We accepted their challenge. It's a conflict. Everything we've done till now, it can't be wrong. We will beat them!"

"Yeah, it's fine, it's way too early for a kid like you to doubt your own path. Say such a thing after you've lived another hundred years. If you need to question your own path, it's not too late to do it later." Ddraig said.

"Yeah! You're right Ddraig. I'll continue on without regrets! I'll be the harem king baby!" Issei thought before the door to the pool opened.

"Oops, let me just switch you two." Ddraig said. "He's sleeping right now, so it should be fine."

"Oh...god I am so fucked up..." 'Issei' started rubbing his head in the steam.

"Huh? Kenshin?"

'Issei' looked over to see Xenovia wearing little more than a t shirt. "Xenovia?" He asked. "What are you doing here so late? Wait? Why am I back at Kuoh?"

"I could ask you the same Issei." Xenovia said.

"Issei? Xenovia I might be recovering from being drunk, but this is Kenshn." He said.

"Kenshin?" Xenovia said.

"I traded yours and partners' consciousnesses' because this girl is one of yours." Ddraig said in Kenshin's mind.

"Oh, I see..." Kenshin thought before smiling. "Here Xenovia." He said forming a handsign, the image of Issei becoming his own. Kenshin looked up. "It's late at night in this world and a couple of weeks have passed where I'm at." Kenshin said. "Another week is about to pass there...anyway, what's up?"

Xenovia smiled. "Nothing really. I just wanted to come here to go for a swim. Did I disturb you, Issei and Ddraig?"

"Nah, I think Issei was about to leave." Kenshin said.

"I see." Xenovia said before walking to the diving platform, before suddenly stripping off her shirt, revealing that she was wearing nothing underneath, she was completely naked.

"Holy fuck...Xenovia, your body is fit and curvaceous as hell...and at risk of sounding like Issei, your boobs are well shaped as well." Kenshin thought before a thought came to mind. "Hey Xenovia, you swim naked?" He asked as his gaze traveled to her butt, before Xenovia crouched down and dove in.

"Swimming nude feels unrestrictive you know. Sometimes I come here by myself late at night for a swim." Xenovia said doing laps in the pool before lifting her head at the edge of the pool next to Kenshin

"Kenshin." Xenovia said seriously.

"What's up?" Kenshin asked with a smile.

"...I can...surpass them right? Surpass Sona-Kaichou...and his Excellency Strada right?" Xenovia asked.

Before Kenshin could speak, Xenovia continued. "I...I have always thought that, if it's going to be done, then it has to be able to surpass the predecessor. Whether as a warrior, or as a student at Kuoh Academy."

Kenshin looked down at his own reflection in the pool and smiled. "Honestly Xenovia...I've been feeling the same way lately." Kenshin said.

"What do you mean?" Xenovia asked.

"Currently I'm sailing to go fight the Primordial Goddess of Darkness, the woman Ragnarok himself submitted to." Kenshin said. "I'm constantly wondering to myself about two things. 'Do I have enough?' and 'If I do have enough...please don't let me kill her...for Tamamo's sake.'" Kenshin said with a smile.

"...You're in love with her aren't you?" Xenovia asked with a small smile.

"Heh, yeah." Kenshin grinned. "I'd do anything for those I love...that includes you."

"!" Xenovia blushed a bit. "M-Me?"

"As someone close to me." Kenshin said with a laugh, before smiling. "But you're so endearing and honest...I think you already got me."

Xenovia smiled. "You haven't answered my question."

"Well, why did you decide to run for Student Council President?" Kenshin asked. "I only ran for Vice President after you declared your intention, because I wanted to support you."

Xenovia blushed, but laid her head against his shoulder. "This is the first school I've gone to since I was born." She said. "Since I started attending school here, I've never felt bored. Chatting with classmates during class, breaks, club activities class activities school trips, all of them were very new and exciting to me...I...I'm truly very happy Kenshin...I, really like this school. I truly think that it's possible to have such a meaningful place in this world...I...just want to give something back in return...No I want to leave something behind." Xenovia looked up into Kenshin's eyes with a smile. "That's why I wanted to become the Student Council President."

"..." Kenshin smiled. "I see...you and I are alike I see."

"Huh?" Xenovia said.

"Not necessarily for the school, but...when I was first brought here. I was introduced to a new way of life, one that would finally let me relax." Kenshin said looking down at his reflection in the water. "Being engaged to Rias, meeting Akeno, Koneko, Asia-nee, Irina-nee, you and everyone else...it's been the reason I've been happy, the battle of Heaven withstanding...I will always fight for that happiness and I want to give back as well."

Xenovia smiled at this, before looking up at the ceiling. "Kenshin, you're too good to us." She said.

"Really? Here I was thinking I wasn't good enough." Kenshin said with a grin.

"Kenshin..." Xenovia said pulling Kenshin toward her.

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened a bit as his lips crushed against Xenovia's, his surprise faded and he kissed back.

Xenovia pulled back, kept hugging Kenshin closely. "I'm serious about this Kenshin." She said. "You better come back."

"I know, you're serious in everything." Kenshin smiled. "In the meantime, win the election for us."

"Hmhm." Xenovia said, pressing herself against Kenshin. "The reason I was able to choose this way of life is all thanks to Chief Rias, Asia, Irina as well as other friends...but...there are so many things I want to do only because I have you by my side Kenshin." She looked up at him with a smile. "Kenshin, I was able to have such happiness in my life because I'm together with you." Xenovia said. "Kenshin...this...is a bit selfish...but...if you can...can you find a way to let me into your peerage, so I can follow you?"

"Hmmm, we'll see. I have to think on how to make that happen." Kenshin grinned.

"That's fine...even if you can't make it happen, I'll at least be happy that you tried." She reached for his face after wiping her cheeks.

"Here's a thought. Maybe I could convince Vali to get an evil piece set of his own, trade Granberia to him for his free knight piece, then I could trade it to Rias for you?" Kenshin said.

"Hmhmhmhm, well, while it depends on Vali, good luck." Xenovia said kissing him on the cheek before sitting on his lap. "Kenshin, you've always followed your own path, even if there weren't many choices. You and Issei even surpassed the Juggernaut Drive." Xenovia said. "I need to discover my path" She said before smiling. "I'm feeling motivated, time me Kenshin!" She pulled away from Kenshn standing in front of him as her boobs bounced. "I'm going to go first Kenshin." Kenshin reached over and grabbed Xenovia's wrist as she crouched down at the edge of the pool. "Huh?" Xenovia asked.

Kenshin smiled before pulling her into a kiss. "To answer your question. I absolutely believe you can beat them, all of you can."

Xenovia smiled and hugged Kenshin again. "Understood...and when this is all over...these rebels, Quipploth, Trihexa. Please let me borrow you for ten days."

"That might be hard to swing, but I'll try. Still it'll be fun to get random dates in the meantime." Kenshin said before forming a handsign. "Sorry, times up."

Xenovia nodded as Kenshin's image reverted to Issei's. She climbed out of the pool and hit the showers where she had a change of clothes hidden as the doors opened and Issei awoke to Irina and Asia around him. She smiled at this and proceeded upstairs via elevator. Xenovia went to her room and laid in her bed, dreaming about how much she wanted Kenshin's...and only Kenshin's baby.

The Next day.

The day of the battle had come. Issei was in the dojo, going through warm ups when the door opened. "Eh?" He looked over and saw Negi enter with Konoka and Setsuna.

"Hello Issei-San." Negi said with a smile. "Would you care to answer a question for me?"

"Sure, what's up?" Issei asked.

"Well it's just when Hottan...Ialda I guess, fought against us. He had a powerful accomplice help him. If not for this person...I would have been able to beat Hottan Ialda...and..." Negi said

"You still would have been shackled with the Resonance Negi-San." Issei said shaking his head.

"I know...but I feel like I could have prevented everyone dying...having to have Kenshin kill me." Negi said glancing away sadly.

"Negi-Chan, we're back now, that's all that matters." Konoka said with a smile, patting her on the back.

"Even our friends from Mahora are with us again, just resting back at Mundus Magicus." Setsuna smiled.

"I know, but all I want to know is...who was that person really?" Negi asked. "He called himself Loki and said he was a god. He even sicked three giant wolves and a pack of serpents at us."

"..." Issei let out a sigh. "That guy was actually the Norse God of Mischief, Loki."

"Excuse me? !" Setsuna shouted.

"You're kidding!" Konoka gasped.

"Then, the wolves?" Negi asked.

"Fenrir and his pups Skol and Hati." Issei answered.

"And the serpents?" Setsuna asked.

"Mass produced copies of the Sleeping Dragon King, Midgardsormr." Issei answered.

"So we were up against a literal god?" Konoka asked.

"Fenrir and his sons..." Setsuna said.

"And the World Serpent itself?" Negi said. "Wait, are they still running around?"

"No actually. Soon after Kazumi-San arrived, Loki appeared because Odin tried to enter the Alliance and tried to fight him. We killed Skol and Hati, Saji, who you met on Mundus Magicus went into his own Dragon King State called the Vritra Promotion and took care of the Midgardsormrs while I hit Loki himself with a souped up replica of Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer."

"Wow, so you actually beat that guy?" Konoka asked with stars in her eyes.

Issei chuckled abashedly with a grin. "I say that, but I only struck the final blow. In this battle Kenshin managed to achieve his Balance Breaker. Elemental Overdrive and he was the main one giving Loki a piping hot beatdown."

"Wow~! Ken-kun's gotten so strong, I mean he beat Ialda Baoth, but to be able to hang with literal gods? !" Konoka gushed.

"Heheheh." Issei chuckled. "Anyway. Loki's not dead, just locked up at Asgard, while Vali, that silver haired guy you all saw at the baths a few days ago, took custody of Fenrir, who is the size of a normal wolf now. He's not a threat anymore."

"I see...well if that's the case...I guess I'll relax my blade around Fenrir." Setsuna said.

"Anyway." Negi said. "We want to join you all in the upcoming battle."

"Negi-San, remember what Kenshin said."

"I know!" Negi said. "But...I...I couldn't forgive myself if I stood back on the sidelines when I know I could help!" She said looking into Issei's eyes. "Kenshin's not here right now...please, let me fight alongside you."

"..." Issei let out a sigh. "Alright, but you three better take care of yourselves." He said. "I'm not taking shit from Kenshin because you three were stubborn."

"Ken-kun worries too much." Konoka said with a smile.

"We're Negi's Ministra. We'll keep her safe if nothing else...and it's not like she's made of glass." Setsuna said.

"Besides. I don't want my muscles both physical and magical to get weaker." Negi said.

"Well come on." Issei said as he walked out of the dojo. He spotted the ring on Negi's finger. "Huh, did you buy a new ring Negi-San?" Issei asked.

"No..." Negi held her hands close to her chest. "B-Before he left...Kenshin asked me to marry him."

"..." Issei smiled. "He must have cleared it with Rias." Issei said. "Congrats, Negi Kuroshi." He grinned.

Negi blushed, but giggled. "Thank you Issei-San."

The four made their way toward the basement where the teleportation circle was. Hikari stepped in front of them. "Negi, where do you think you're going?" Hikari asked with a scolding look.

"To the battlefield." Negi said with a defiant look.

"In your condition? Absolutely not." Hikari said crossing her arms under her chest.

"Hikari-San! I feel myself getting stronger every day!" Negi argued. "Ialda's aura is fading."

"And if you use your magic it could exacerbate your condition!" Hikari said with a hard look.

"Hikari-San! I can't just sit back and watch other people fight when I know I could be doing something about it as well! Please! I want to help too!" Negi pleaded.

"..." Hikari stared at Negi for a moment before closing her eyes with a smile. "Negi...you're so much like Nagi and Arika it isn't funny." She said before cupping Negi's cheek. "Just...stay safe OK? I've lost Ryuushin, Nagi and Arika..." She closed her eyes. "Don't make me watch my cute little daughter in law die too...again."

"Wait...you...?" Negi said.

"And...Negi-San, Konoka-San and Setsuna-San?" Rias said. "Negi...you."

"It's OK. I can take care of myself...and I have Konoka-San and Setsuna-San with me." Negi said.

The Gremory, Sitri peerages with Hikari, Kazumi, Chachamaru, Negi, Konoka, Setsuna, Sextum, Raynare, the personnel from Heaven and Granberia gathered in front of Griselda and Dulio in the basement of the Hyoudou Residence. "Listen up, this time we're going up against the Church's rebels. The location was hurriedly built, for this battle in the style of a rating game and we'll be going there via magic circle. The other side agreed to this, as this battle will certainly be more intense than last time." Sona explained.

Mana entered the room after this. "I'm coming as well, for long range support." Mana said, she said toting a sniper rifle on her shoulder. "I'm not on any particular team like you're planning, but I will do what I can."

"Likewise." Mana said, smiling back.

"So what's this I hear about you teaching a girl from Kenshin's new school how to shoot." Setsuna asked.

"She has two friends who are proficient in wielding swords. Maybe you could teach them some Shinmeiryuu arts." Mana suggested.

"Hmn...I'll think about it." Setsuna said with a nod.

"Anyway, It's scheduled to start at midnight. Our opponents will enter through the magic circle we prepared for to be transported to the location of the battlefield." Sona said.

"Whether it was the location of the battle, or us preparing the magic circle for transportation. We really weren't sure if they'd accept it." Saji said. "Being transferred into a prison or barrier. They never considered that."

"This woman is apparently named Promestein. Not much is known about her, but she does have a holy aura. Her attire seems to imply that she's a scientist. Be wary of her." He then gestured toward the second picture, a figure in all black, wearing a crow mask. "Even less is known about this one...all I know about her is her name. La Croix."

Hikari, who was previously holding a cup, broke it in her hand. "I want her."

"Hikari?" Azazel said.

"That's the bitch who raised our family back from the dead. I'll plant her in the ground myself." Hikari growled. "Kenshin and Yukari aren't here so I'll take the bitch out in their stead. Where is she going?"

"According to our reports, she'll be with Cristaldi." Azazel said.

"Sona, I'm with you." Hikari said.

"T...Thanks for your help." Sona said, seeing the fire in the Tsuki Matriarch's eyes.

"May I join the Sitri's side as well?" Kiba asked.

"It's because of Excalibur isn't it?" Sona asked.

"It's based off the sealing technique for Trihexa that I'm still researching...I hope the results are good." Rossweisse said before a hand was placed on her shoulder. She turned to see Negi smiling.

"We've been studying it together Rossweisse-San, I'm sure the results will be fine." Negi said.

"Thanks Negi-San...Kenshin was right about you. You and I are avid learners." Rossweisse smiled back.

"Hehehe." Negi giggled. "Thanks."

"So anyway." Sona said. "The forces we will be facing will be split into two. My peerage, Kiba and Hikari will be facing off against Cristaldi, while Rias, you and your force as well as the remnants of Kenshin's peerage will face Vasco Strada. Out of my group Saji will act as support. Dulio is the leader and Sister Griselda and Irina-San and those of the Brave Saints will also support us. Sorry Rias, but against a true wielder of Excalibur, we need all the holy support we can get." Sona said.

"I understand. So it will be the Gremory and Kuroshi households and the other members going at Vasco Strada." Rias said.

"So...our opponent is the former wielder of Durandal..." Xenovia said with a fire lit in her eyes. "Chief...Kenshin. I won't let you down." She thought.

"Anyway...Kuroka, Le Fay and Slash Dog will support the Gremory and Kuroshi groups. Kazumi, you will be in the back calling out patterns and strays like usual." Azazel said.

"Right Right." Kazumi said before turning to Mana who was next to her. "Keep communications open."

"I always do." Mana said.

"What about you two?" Griselda said to Setsuna and Konoka.

"I will guard Ojou-...er...Kono-Chan and Asia-San while they heal everyone." Setsuna said.

"Very well that sounds like a splendid idea." Griselda smiled.

"So this Cristaldi is the former wielder of Excalibur." Sona asked.

"Unfortunately." Griselda said with her eyes closed. "He even received a replica Excalibur from the Pope when Ex Durandal was being made. Though it was a fifth of it's power."

"Kiba don't...all of us will fight it for you. You don't need to do this." Rias said with a sad look.

"Chief Rias, this isn't about revenge now...I just want to prove myself superior to the blade!" Kiba protested. "I won't die, I promise"

"Quick on the uptake there." Arthur said with a smile. "I don't want to replace you, but I've always been interested in him. Even as an old man he's considered one of the strongest of the wielders of Durandal. I wish to challenge him."

Granberia looked over at him with a smirk. "You and Vali have something in common." She said.

"Yes, I'll be the greatest holy swordsman. That way...I can take her back." Arthur said. "For good."

"And do you have a scabbard for that sword?" Issei asked bluntly.

"Kenshin would say this too. Nobody can replace you. If you asked me or him we'd politely decline! Rias Gremory's knights are you and Xenovia, just as Kenshin Kuroshi's knights are Yukari and Granberia! We refuse to take your place."

You used to live for just God, for your faith that you constantly wielded Durandal, your eyes seeing nothing but constant battle...I think you chose the perfect husband in that regard. Kenshin, who also has seen little more than battle as well. I look forward to seeing you two grow together."

"!" Xenovia blushed, thoughts of her giving birth, playing with their child, training together, but she smiled as well. "Yes...I think I chose wisely as well." She said holding her hands at her chest."

"Yes." Griselda said grabbing Xenovia's hands and holding them against her own chest. "Don't ever think I'm disappointed in you...the current Xenovia in front of me is amazing."

Xenovia wiped her eyes and smiled. "S-Sorry for being such a trouble for you, big sister." She said.

"I wouldn't trade it for the world. Now go become Student Council President with your lover at your side and surpass His Eminence Strada!"

The door opens and Tamamo walks out onto the deck. "Still training this late into the night?" She asked.

"I just don't get it." Kenshin said turning his head toward her. "Shiva tells me to be calm, but Sacred Gears respond to strong emotions."

"It is quite the conundrum." Tamamo said. "Especially given your circumstance at the moment."

Kenshin closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. "I've been doing this every day, yet I don't feel like anything is happening."

"..." Tamamo smiled and walked up behind him and sat down. "Kenshin, there's no need to pressure yourself." She said embracing him from behind.

"Khh..." Kenshin growled a bit before sighing. "I know Draco said I could take her in the Demigod State, but...how long has it been since he's seen her fight? What if it's not enough?"

"Mother's power isn't something one forgets easily." Tamamo said stroking his cheek.

"..." Kenshin laid his hand over hers as she stroked his chest with her other hand. "Maybe it's just the feelings of Ragnarok bubbling up the closer we get to the Deadlands."

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd like to think Alipheese isn't selfish enough to kill the person her lover reincarnated into just to get him back, that and it isn't even guaranteed that I can exhaust her power to bring it to balance with Ilias' waning power."

Tamamo nodded. "Yeah." She said. "I...just hope that she doesn't force your hand." She said glancing away.

Kenshin turned to her. "Tamamo, don't you think you're discounting her a bit?"

"I know, it's just...this doesn't feel like a fight Mother wants to necessarily win." Tamamo said. "It's just...!"

Tamamo was cut off as Kenshin leaned over and cupped her cheek. He smiled. "Everything's gonna be OK. I promise. I know everything about this situation sucks for you, but I promise you that nothing bad will happen on my watch."

"Well...not everything about this situation sucks..." Tamamo said cupping her hand over his, her emerald eyes staring back into Kenshin's gilded irises as she smiled.

"Because I want to be." Kenshin said. "Plus it's not like we're not both going through some crap here."

"Very well then." Kenshin said wrapping an arm around her waist. "This is actually pretty nice, laying out here under the stars."

"Yes...so can we go to sleep like this? With me on top of you, the sound of your heartbeat lulling me to sleep?" Tamamo asked.

"Sure, but look up at me for a moment." Kenshin said.

"?" Tamamo looked up only for Kenshin to lean in and kiss her on the lips. "Mmmh..." She closed her eyes, gently kissing Kenshin back.

"Good night Tamamo." Kenshin smiled.

Tamamo smiled back, laying her head back on his chest. "Kenshin..."

"Yeah?" Kenshin replied.

"Thank you for all this..." Tamamo said with her eyes closed. "I've...felt so conflicted about all this...yet even still you're there for me."

"Yeah...and I always will be. For you and everyone else." Kenshin said.

"Well, it's still chilly out here..." Tamamo said as her nine fluffy fox tails wormed their way underneath Kenshin, wrapping her and him into a sort of fluffy cocoon.

"Haa..." Kenshin let out a relaxed sigh. "Tamamo, your tails are seriously the best."

"Hmhmhmhm~! I know they are~!" Tamamo giggled.

"...zzzzzz" Kenshin fell asleep after she said this. She sighed with a smile and formed a handsign, reapplying the Malak Seal.

"Good night Kenshin." She said resting her head back on his chest. "I believe in you. I know you'll do everything you can to make this turn out alright." She thought as her eyes narrowed shut, falling asleep on her lover's chest.

"Anyway...why don't you all try just bitching at him to do more of his work himself?" Kenshin asked.

Sirzechs, Ajuka and Serafall all slumped. "That was the first thing we tried." Ajuka said.

"He'd just yawn and say..." Sirzechs trailed off.

"'It's getting done, who cares how.'" Serafall sighed.

"Haa..." Kenshin sighed. "Look I can give it a shot, but I can't make any promises." Kenshin said.

"That's all we ask." Sirzechs said.

"Fine, tell me where he's at." Kenshin said. "I think I already know what to threaten him with."

"Oh?" Sirzechs, Ajuka and Serafall said with curious looks.

Later Kenshin entered a room where Falbium was sitting. "Falbium."

"Oh hey Kenshin, what's up?" Falbium said.

"Business actually." Kenshin said. "Sirzechs, Serafall and Ajuka are complaining that you sleep too much. They sent me here to correct that."

"Of course they did." Falbium said before smiling. "Kenshin, I was a part of the Glaysa-Labolas clan, known for their Absolute Defense."

"Huh, wonder why Zephyrdol got owned by Sairaorg then." Kenshin pondered.

"He's not as skilled with the technique." Falbium said.

"OK, well...if you refuse to stop sleeping in, you're going on my no sell list." Kenshin said.

"? !" Falbium gasped with wide eyes. "Please no! I've been sleeping so well because of it!"

"Hahaha, OK. Here." Kenshin said tossing him a bag of weed before walking away.

Sirzechs cut Kenshin off as he left the room. "Kenshin, we wanted you to make him stay awake." He scolded.

"And I have. That bag of weed I gave him, all Sativa. It creates a head high, makes one more alert, brings an uplifting feeling of euphoria. Inspires creativity and even creates increased energy." Kenshin said with a grin. "I'll mix in bags of Sativa and Indica which put you to sleep and makes you hungry so he gets his rest. Trust me I sometimes smoke the former when I need to stay awake."

"Hrm." Sirzechs smiled. "Thank you Kenshin."

"Not at all." Kenshin waved him off.
