AN: Remember when Grimlock mentioned a Decepticon known as 'The-One-With-All-The-Eyes?' Well, here's an original chapter that will tell about it. Enjoy!
Chapter 9: Thousand Eye Fight
In the forest outside Crown City, a couple was walking along the path, taking pictures of all the foliage. "This is amazing, honey. It's nice to see things outside Crown City that remain untouched." The girlfriend said. "Hey, babe, take my picture against this majestic tree." The boyfriend said as he stood against a big tree. "Oh, that's gonna look good on our mantel." The girlfriend said as she took his picture. Suddenly, a big red eye opened in the bushes, making the girlfriend scream in terror. "What's wrong, babe?" The boyfriend asked. The girlfriend pointed fearfully at the eye. The boyfriend turned around as more red eyes opened around the foliage. The couple screamed and ran away as the eyes all blinked simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Team Bee and the Nebula Rangers were in Crown City in hot pursuit of a cheetah. This cheetah was another enemy of the Nebula Rangers named Wildness Man. He recently robbed the Crown City Bank, but the team arrived in time and forced him to abandon his heist. "This is one awfully fast cat." Sideswipe said. "Naturally. Wildness Man has the power to change into various animals." Liana said. "Yeah, he uses his animal forms for his heists." Shawn said. "He's moving pretty fast for an Earth animal." Mirage said. "Split up and corner him at the bridge. We can't let him leave the city." Bumblebee said as he ordered. Strongarm and the others turned right to cut Wildness Man off at the bridge while Bumblebee, Raf, Mariposa, Arcee, Jack, Cinderray and Teresa continued their pursuit.
"You're not putting this cat back in the bag, Nebula Rangers! The wild always wins over humanity!" Wildness Man exclaimed as he ran towards the bridge. But then, Strongarm and the others got there first, cutting him off. Wildness Man skidded to a stop as Bumblebee, Arcee and Cinderray blocked him from escaping. "Give it up, Wildness Man! There's nowhere to go!" Jack demanded as he dismounted Arcee while the rest of the Rangers got out of Team Bee. But Wildness Man beamed like a Cheshire Cat. "Oh, there's one way for me to go. Through you." He said menacingly. Just then, he transformed from a cheetah into a giant Spinosaurus, letting out a loud roar. The team stared at him in shock. "Has he ever done that before?" Arcee asked. "Give me a minute. I'll let you know." Jack said. "Autobots, attack!" Bumblebee ordered as he and the rest of his team transformed and prepared to attack. But Wildness Man gave a powerful swipe of his tail, knocking Bumblebee, Arcee and Cinderray down. "Hey!" Strongarm exclaimed as she charged in. But Wildness Man grabbed her in his mouth and tossed her at Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage, knocking them down. The Nebula Rangers attacked Wildness Man with their powers, but nothing seemed to phase his thick dinosaur scales. "Now it's time to stomp 'til you Nebula Rangers drop." Wildness Man said as he tried to stomp on the Rangers. But they quickly dodged each stomp.
"Hey!" Grimlock called. Wildness Man turned to face him. "You call yourself a dinosaur? You don't look dinosaur-y enough to actually be a real dinosaur." Grimlock said, mockingly. That made Wildness Man's blood boil in his cold-blooded body. "Oh, I'll show you a real dinosaur!" He roared before charging towards Grimlock. "Now!" Grimlock roared. Just then, Dominick motioned his hands and created a large rock wall in front of Grimlock. Wildness Man crashed into it, disorienting himself. Dominick lowered his rock wall, allowing Grimlock to punch Wildness Man hard, knocking him out. "Now that's how to be a dinosaur." Grimlock said proudly.
Afterwards, the police arrived and arrested Wildness Man. "Good work, Captain Cosmic. Once again, the police are indebted to you and your team." The Chief of Police said, shaking hands with Jack. "It's no problem, officer. Wildness Man may be powerful with his animal instincts, but he's never a match for us." Jack said as he watched Wildness Man, in human form, get loaded into a prison van and fitted with chains to hold his strongest and slipperiest animals. "Well, I think you lot can take it from here. We gotta be somewhere." Jack said as he walked back to Arcee, who transformed into her vehicle mode along with her team, and mounted her. "Always a pleasure to have your help, Captain." The chief said with a salute as the Nebula Rangers got in Team Bee and drove off.
Later, as the team return to the scrapyard, Russell began asking excitedly all about their mission. "What was it like fighting Wildness Man? What animals did he transform into? How strong was he?" He asked with an excited tone. "Whoa, slow down, Russell. We'll have plenty of time to answer your questions." Raf said. "Unfortunately, we have no time. I just picked up a Decepticon signal out in the door set-*glitch*-the corset-*glitch*-the forest!" Fixit reported. "Guess mission stories will have to wait until after we catch this one." Miko said. "Alright, team, let's Rev Up and Roll Out." Bumblebee said. Team Bee transformed to their vehicle modes, picked up their human partners and headed out.
As the team reached the forest, they let out their human partners and transformed. "Alright, team, stay alert. Be ready for anything." Bumblebee said. They started walking into the forest with their guard up. "Fixit, how far is our Decepticon?" Arcee asked through the com-link. "Well, this is strange. It hasn't moved since I picked it up on my scanner." Fixit said. "You mean the Con's just standing in the exact same spot?" Sideswipe asked in confusion. "Well, on the bright side, we won't have to go far to find him." Mirage said. "Maybe, but I don't like it. If this Decepticon's waiting for us, then this could be some kind of trap." Bumblebee said. "Bee's right. We'll have to be extra careful if this turns out to be a trap." Raf said. "And that's when I start punching, right?" Grimlock asked. The team looked at him with deadpanned looks. "What?" He asked.
"You should be coming right up to our Decepticon right about…now." Fixit said. The team passed through the foliage and spotted their Decepticon loitering against a tree. He resembled an average Cybertronian. "I was wondering when my presence would be discovered by the Autobots." The Con said. "Put your hands up, Decepticon." Bumblebee demanded as the team got ready to fight. "Now, now. There's no need for that so soon. Let's just relax for a bit, have a chat, get to know each other." The Con said as he walked away from the tree. The team was confused by this. "No takers? Alright. I'll introduce myself first. Name's Opticon, one of the most observant and highly skilled criminals on all of Cybertron." The Con, named Opticon, introduced. Sideswipe carefully motioned to Strongarm, who slowly snuck back into the forest. "And you 2. Oh, I know exactly who you 2 are. Bumblebee and Arcee, 2 of Optimus Prime's most loyal soldiers. Must be my lucky day." Opticon said. "It is your lucky day, Decepticon. For you get to go back into your stasis pod." Arcee said. Strongarm carefully came back out of the forest, having snuck around, and prepared to sneak up on Opticon.
"Oh, I see. Well, I'm afraid that'll be impossible for me to do. I have a busy schedule, you see. So many sights to see here on Earth." Opticon said. Strongarm quietly got out her stasis cuffs as she got closer to Opticon, preparing to snap them on. "Kinda like the sight of your friend sneaking up behind me!" Opticon exclaimed as suddenly, another optic opened on his back. "Whoa!" Strongarm gasped in shock as Opticon turned around a punched her, knocking her out. Team Bee and the Nebula Rangers were shocked by what happened. "How did he know she was back there?" Cinderray asked. "It's like he had eyes on the back of his head." Henry said. "That's impossible." Gears said. "Oh, but it's very possible." Opticon said. Just then, hundreds more optics opened up everywhere on his entire body. Grimlock shuddered at the sight of this. "That is just so wrong." He said.
"Autobots, get him!" Bumblebee ordered. "Finally! Let's slice and dice!" Mirage exclaimed, unsheathing her wrist-blades as she charged towards Opticon. "Oh, is this the best that you can throw at me?" Opticon asked, mockingly. Mirage tried slicing at him, but Opticon dodged each attack, grabbed her right arm and flipped her hard on her back. Sideswipe charged towards Opticon, readying his sword to stab him in the back. "Oh no, no, no. Sneak attack? Bad move." Opticon said, seeing Sideswipe coming. He turned around and punched Sideswipe, knocking him out in an instant. "Oh, that's it!" Gears exclaimed, charging head first. "Gears, wait!" Bumblebee exclaimed. "Oh, please." Opticon scoffed, seeing Gears coming from the side before grabbing him and throwing him at some trees, knocking him out. Cinderray split herself into 2 and attempted to grab Opticon from both sides. "Oh, splitting into 2? Good try, but not good enough." Opticon said, leaping up and causing Cinderray's 2 halves to crash into each other, knocking each other out. "Next." Opticon said as he landed. "CANNONBALL!" Grimlock roared as he prepared to cannonball on top of Opticon. But Opticon, having seen him too, slid to the side, making Grimlock miss and land on his head, knocking himself out.
Bumblebee and Arcee got on both sides of Opticon and prepared to fight. "Really? You should know that nobody can surprise someone with as many optics as I have." Opticon said. "Oh, we can surprise you, Decepticon." Bumblebee said as he got out his blaster and started blasting. Opticon dodged each blast. Arcee tried to kick him, but Opticon caught her foot. "Told you. You can't surprise me." Opticon said. Bumblebee tried to throw a punch, but Opticon caught his fist. With a grin, Opticon flipped them onto their backs. They tried to get up, but Opticon knocked them both out with a single punch. "I love it when I prove my enemies wrong." Opticon said, dusting off his hands.
The Nebula Rangers watched in shock from the bushes. "Dominick, I have an idea. Can you blind him with a sandstorm?" Jack asked. "One big sandstorm coming up." Dominick said. As he started motioning his hands to create a sandstorm, Opticon actually caught sight of them. "Ah, humans. And gifted with extraordinary abilities. What a treat." He said. Then, Dominick created his sandstorm as it blew towards Opticon. "Oh, I see what they're doing. But it's still not good enough." He said. He sealed up all of his optics just as the sandstorm hit him. "Yes! We got him now!" Shawn cheered. But as Dominick subsided the sandstorm down, Opticon was gone. "No, we don't." He said, disappointed. "He must've escaped under the sandstorm's cover." Raf guessed. Team Bee groaned as they started recovering. "Let's help the team recover first." Jack said as he and his Rangers go over to Team Bee to help them out.
Meanwhile, Opticon drove through the forest in the vehicle form of a violet Porsche 911 Carrera T before transforming back into his robot form. "Ah, that was an excellent workout. Now for some real damage. I'm thinking…that city in the distance. Perfect." He said. He transformed back to vehicle mode and drove off.
Meanwhile, as the Nebula Rangers helped Team Bee recover, Bumblebee contacted Fixit on the com-link while Jack took out his phone and started dialing a number. "Fixit, can you look up a certain Decepticon named Opticon for information?" Bumblebee asked.
"Copy that, Lieutenant." Fixit said. He opened up the Alchemor's prisoner manifest, searched through the list and opened Opticon's mugshot and file. "Got him. Opticon, a master criminal gifted with at least a thousand optics all over his body. He used his gift to foresee the incoming attacks of his enemies and strikes first before they can land the hit." He explained.
"Oh! Now I remember. This Con once took out an entire squadron of Cybertron police a couple years ago." Mirage said. "With all those optics on his whole body, we may never get an edge on him." Strongarm said with worry. "So, when can we expect you to arrive here?" Jack asked on the phone. "Uh huh. Great. See you then." He hung up the phone and turned to see the team staring at him. "Who were you talking to?" Arcee asked. "Someone who I think can help against Opticon." Jack said. "Speaking of which, we should figure out where he went." Miko said. "Got him. He's heading on the pathway towards Crown City." Fixit said on the com-link. "Then we need to catch up to him. Let's Rev Up and Roll Out!" Bumblebee ordered as Team Bee transformed, letting their human partners in, and drove off.
Later, as the team silently caught up with him, Opticon was overlooking the city. "Oh yes. This city will be perfect for my next big crime spree. I wonder what they have in this city worth my many, many, many sights." He said to himself. "Okay. Let's get him while we have the element of surprise." Gears whispered, preparing to leap out and attack. But Bumblebee blocked him. "No. With all those optics on his body, he'll be able to see our every move." He whispered. "You think your backup will show up?" Arcee whispered. "If I know my friends, I'm sure she's already here." Jack whispered. As Opticon was watching the city, unknown to him, someone was watching him from behind a tree. The unknown person picked up a twig and snapped it in half. "Who's there?" Opticon asked, opening all his optics when he heard that and became alert. Suddenly, dozens of strange puppet creatures started coming out of the ground. "What in the…?" Opticon asked in confusion as the puppets started to walk up to him and circle around him. He started attacking every puppet that came towards him, but they just kept coming at him. "Okay. The puppets have him distracted on all sides." Jack whispered. "Then let's try this again." Dominick whispered, motioning his hands. As Opticon kept his focus on the puppets, another sandstorm brewed up and blew towards him. This time, since the puppets distracted him, they disappeared when the sandstorm hit him, it completely blinded all of his optics. "What?! Where did this sandstorm come from?! And where did those puppets go?!" He exclaimed. Just then, strings appeared out of nowhere and ensnared him, causing him to fall on his back.
When Dominick made the sandstorm subside, the team walked up to Opticon as he struggled against the strings. "Oh. Uh, hello, Autobots." Opticon greeted sheepishly. "Can I have at least one punch at him?" Grimlock asked, pounding his fist. "I don't see why not." Bumblebee said. "Have at him." Arcee said. Grimlock chuckled before punching Opticon in the face, knocking him out. "Alright. My work is done." He said proudly. "But now we need to ask where did those strange puppets come from?" Sideswipe asked. "I can answer that." A female's voice said. The team turned to see a girl around Jack's age with her reddish orange hair in long twin pigtails, wore a black masquerade mask, a rose pink mini top hat, a white puffy shirt, a black Lolita dress, white thigh socks with rose pink strips and a pair of black Mary Jane boots. "Who are you?" Bumblebee asked. "This is that backup I called. Team Bee, meet Puppet Princess." Jack introduced. "But I think some of you will better recognize me without the mask." Puppet Princess said, taking off her mask. "Sierra?" Arcee gasped in shock. Puppet Princess was none other than Jack's old crush, Sierra Sanchez. "It's good to finally meet you face-to-face…Arcee." She said.
Later, as the team returned to the scrapyard, Strongarm and Mirage locked Opticon back into a stasis pod. "I don't understand it. You know about us? How did you even learn about us?" Arcee asked. "Jack, Raf and Miko told me everything as they took me in to train me." Sierra said. "She got her powers from the meteor blast too." Jack said. "Yes. It all started during that very day when the meteor crashed down in the bay. When the energy pulse hit me, as I motioned my hand, a creepy doll creature came out of the ground right in front of me. I was scared of this new power. But it all changed when Agent Fowler tracked me down and offered to train me to control, learn and master my powers. When he brought me there and I saw that Jack, Raf and Miko were there, well, they decided to tell me everything." Sierra explained. "Including us." Bumblebee said. "I actually hoped to meet you one day. And when Jack called me for backup, I guess I got my wish." Sierra said. "We were also hoping since she's part of the Nebula Rangers, that she could join the team." Jack said. "No invitation will be necessary. We'd be honored to have you on the team, Puppet Princess." Bumblebee said with a smile. "Thank you, Bumblebee. I look forward to working with all of you." Sierra said. "Come. Let me show you around our headquarters." Bumblebee said, walking away. "Thank you." Sierra said as she followed. But then, as everyone else walked off, she stopped for a minute. "Arcee." She said. "What is it?" Arcee asked. "Jack's really lucky to have a girl like you in his life." Sierra said, winking at Arcee before following Bumblebee. Arcee smiled with a blush at that compliment.
Well, I hope you readers liked that. After dealing with another supervillain problem in Crown City, Team Bee and the Nebula Rangers now deal with a Decepticon with a thousand eyes named Opticon. With all those eyes, Opticon saw every move the team was able to make. But with the help of Jack's old friend and former crush, Sierra Sanchez aka Puppet Princess, the team managed to surprise Opticon and bring him down. What other challenges will Team Bee face next?
