The next morning Candace wakes up in a panic and a slight headache.
"Oh my god" She whispers as she looks around at her surroundings.
She glances to her right to see the man from yesterday sleeping heavily. She grabs her phone from her purse next to the bed and eyes widened when she sees the time. Almost 7am she has 1 hour to go home, shower and get ready then be at work by 8! She quietly gets out of the bed trying not to wake the sleeping man. She tiptoes around the room gathering her clothes and shoes. She frowns when she can't find her panties. But she doesn't have time to look for them so she just leaves. She takes an Uber to her apartment and gets ready as quickly as possible. After she is dressed in her dark blue pencil skirt and blazer with a white blouse and black heels she brews some coffee to take with her.

She arrives at the tall gray building 5 minutes after 8. The security at the front desk tells her what floor the firm she will be working for is on. She takes the elevator to the 5th floor and walks into a brightly lit bullpen-like room. There are cubicles on both sides of the center walkway and a few offices surrounding them.
"Hi! You must be Candace"
A tall smartly dressed skinny man with glasses grinds at her when she enters.
"That's me, sorry i'm late"
She says, smiling sheepishly.
"No worries, I know traffic is a bitch this early in the morning. Welcome to Johnson and Johnson law firm my name is Kevin and I will be giving you your office tour today."
"Great"
Candace grinned.
"Right this way"
He gestures for her to follow him.
He goes to the cubicles first. This is where office assistants, interns and research committees reside. Any information on a case you need you can ask Jenny over here."
He gestures to a woman with long curly brown hair pulled into a ponytail. She smiles as they approach.
"Hey Jenny this is Candace she's our newest attorney for the adolescent division."
Jenny smiles.
"So nice to meet you if you need anything let me know"
Candace smiles back.
"Thank you so much"
He continues the tour heading to the doors surrounding the bullpen.
"These are our attorney offices and the staff break room."
They go into a spacious lounge area with a small Kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge. It has black leather couches and a coffee table as well as some normal eating tables.
"Alright so moving on this is the Bosses Office."
He says pointing to a closed black door that has executive engraved on the door plate.
"This is a family business. Mr. Johnson, the son of our CEO runs this place he should be in later today."
Candace nods.
"This is your office." He says after passing a few doors in which she assumes is the other offices.
They approach the door and walk in. Candace holds in her surprise as she takes it in. It isn't huge but it is very nice. There is a nice sized wooden desk in the center and behind the desk is a large floor to ceiling window overlooking the city. There are two chairs in front of the desk and leather one's behind it. There are some empty bookshelves against the wall that she can fill with law books. She can't believe she has her own office! This is so exciting!!
"It'll do" She says calmly.

After Candace is settled into her office and Kevin gives her a pile of paperwork to start on, Jenny has introduced her to everyone else. They are now conversing in the break room along with a man named Leo. He has brown curly hair and bright green eyes.
"So what's the CEO like?"
Candace asks nervously.
The last thing she wants is to say or do the wrong thing and end up fired.
"You mean besides Hot?"
Leo mumbled against his coffee mug.
Candace raises an eyebrow.
"Is he?"
Jenny rolls her eyes.
"He's alright. I mean money can make anyone look good in my opinion."
Candace nods in agreement.
"True but I mean his personality"
"Yeah he's cool..doesn't really converse with us much. Just kind of stays in his office unless there's a meeting or he has a big case."
"Yeah you shouldn't really have to many run ins with him"
"So how long have you guys worked here?"
Just then they were interrupted by Kevin who barged into the break room.
"Look alive guys, the boss is on his way."
Leo and Jenny quickly got up, disposing of their lunch. Candace is suddenly feeling nervous. This boss must be pretty strict if the whole office goes into a frenzy just because he arrives. She makes her way out of the break room and awkwardly stands next to Kevin's side. He has a cup of coffee in his hand that he has not drank. The elevator dings and the elevator doors opened. The first thing Candace notices is the familiar blonde hair. The second thing and what makes her heart drop are his blue eyes. She knows those eyes.
"Hello sir. Welcome back"
Jeremy's eyes go to Kevin then immediately to Candace. Candace just stares mouth agape and eyes wide. She quickly composes herself as Kevin hands him the coffee and gestures to her.
"This is our newest attorney Ms. Candace Flynn"
If Jeremy is shocked he's giving nothing away as he gives her a polite nod.
"Welcome to Johnson and Johnson law. I trust Kevin here has caught you up"
All Candace could do was nod. Did he even remember last night? Of Course he did! She was totally gonna get fired because of this she knew it. He gave a Curt nod before walking past them and into his office.
"Well that went well, ''
Kevin said in relief once Jere-erm Mr. Johnson was in his office.
"Yeah"
Candace says, still in a state of shock.

Luckily Candace didn't have another run in with Mr. Johnson that day. He had left only a few hours after he arrived but at least she could breathe and focus on her work and not think about screwing her boss no matter how glorious it may have been. She arrived at her parents house after work that night to pick up Amanda. The six year old smiles noticing her coming into the house.
"Mom!" She runs hugging her.
"You missed grandpa's magic trick"
"Is that right?" She laughs picking up the petite redhead girl.
"Yeah! And grandma made me real tea and biscuits for my tea party set"
"Wow, that must have been fun," Candace says, smiling at her.
"Alright hun grab your stuff it's time to go home"
The little girl nods and Candace puts her down and she runs to her room well Candace's old room that was conferred into a guest room for her.
"How was your first day?"
Her mom asks, wiping her wet hands on a dishcloth.
Candace forced a smile. No way she was telling her mom about this.
"It was great! Everyone was nice"
"Oh that's great hun, also make sure you give your brothers a call soon. Phineas just got back from his honeymoon and Ferb just got that promotion at city hall."
Candace nods.
"Will do mom"
"I'm ready!"
Candace laughs seeing Amanda run into the living room struggling to carry her backpack full of clothes and Candace's old ducky momo doll. She passed it down to her when she was a baby and Amanda took it everywhere.
"Let me help you love" She says, taking the bag from her.
"Alright mom thanks for watching her"
"Oh don't thank us, it's always a pleasure having our only grandchild stay with us!"
Candace smiles and hugs her parents goodbye.
