Draconis: Whew.

Iris: So soon?

Draconis: What? Writing helps take my mind off things...and I'm kinda out of games to play.

Kenshin: Wait, didn't Nintendo release Dread mode for Metroid Dread a few days ago?

Draconis: Died nearly four hundred times, but I beat it. Don't give me that look speedrunners would smoke that. Even if half my deaths were just me being an idiot. Oh, I know that this pit leads to somewhere, let's jump down. Oh there's an enemy and I'm dead...I'm dead.

Kenshin: (chuckles) Ouch dude

Draconis: (Also chuckles) Yup. Anyway.

Dragon of the Elements

Chapter 134

The Dragon of Satan Lucifer.

(start)

Two weeks prior to the revival of Trihexa.

Vali walked alone to a certain European country. He arrived at a small town at the foot of a mountain which was far from the city..

(Fwhosh!)

Vali looked over and saw Kenshin land next to him. "Kenshin? I specifically asked to be left alone."

"Left alone to do what?" Kenshin said looking around. "This place smells like it's pretty close to Negi's home village. I"m just having trouble finding it."

"You're not going to leave are you?" Vali said.

"Why should I leave? We're both just walking our own paths. It just seems our paths intersected." Kenshin said with a grin.

"Whatever." Vali said.

"So, you had a little fun with Granberia yet?" Kenshin said making Vali pause and blush.

"W-Wha? ! Where do you get off asking that!" Vali shouted.

"Uh, I am the Lust Dragon." Kenshin said before becoming serious. "So what brings you here, obviously my reason is bullshit, Wales isn't anywhere near here." Kenshin said. "I'm not spying, but both Granberia and Miyuki asked me to keep an eye on you."

"Heh, Miyuki still cares about me that much? Also tell Granberia I said thanks for the concern." Vali said. "Still why does this warrant a personal visit from you?"

"Because one, your team maybe in reserve, but you're still a member of DxD and Miyuki still considers you a friend now. Two. When Kuroka and Le Fay told me that you'd taken off by yourself. It concerned me because three...Vali, despite our past beef, you're still my friend." Kenshin said with a fierce look.

"..." Vali closed his eyes and pulled out a pair of binoculars. "Through the connection the Grigori has with the Norse faction. I received some information. Information I've desperately been searching for."

"And that would be?" Kenshin asked.

"The location of my mother."

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened at this. "O-Oh...I see."

"Why do you sound so surprised." Vali asked with a scoff.

"Vali..." Kenshin let out a sigh as he sat next to him. "I know you already know about Megalo so I'll skip past it, but...I never really knew Mom until I was ten years old. I knew Yukari for half a year, and Miyuki? Forget it, I got to know her as I got to know Mom." Kenshin said.

Vali stared down at his mother's figure with a solemn expression. "My father Razevam, erased her memories and discarded her."

"No offense, but I feel he did it for her safety, I mean come on, Rizevim was the absolute highest caliber of bastard." Kenshin said.

"What do you mean?" Vali asked. Kenshin told, or rather showed Vali the memories he had seen from his very first fight with Rizevim.

"I know it's hard to forgive him, but I just don't think Razevam is faking it here." Kenshin said. "I mean it took me becoming a demigod to stand up to Rizevim though even then, you know I was gonna run the hands with that bitch." Kenshin said casting a smile at Vali's mother. "I think he blanked her memory to let her experience a life of peace and tranquility"

"And me?" Vali said with a dubious stare

"Well you're here aren't you?" Kenshin said. "Oh?"

"? !" Vali stared wide eyed as a young boy and girl ran toward his mother. They resembled Vali in a way. "Aah, she remarried." Vali thought. "Those two are my little brother and sister..."

Kenshin glanced at Vali with a smile. "Sorry about this."

"? !" Vali gasped. He saw Kenshin appear a distance away from his mother and siblings approached her. "What is he doing? !"

"Oh, hello how are you doing young man?" Vali's mother asked with a smile.

"Oh, I'm just a traveling doctor, even though I'm a bit young." Kenshin said with a friendly smile.

"Oh? Well could I trouble you to give these two a check up?" Vali's mother asked with a smile. "I'll pay whatever fee you ask."

"Oh ho ho!" Kenshin chuckled. "No fee needed, consider it a professional courtesy!" "I know I'm breaking some laws just by saying that." Kenshin thought. "Still all I gotta do is scan them and then analyze Vali's mom."

"Well alright." Vali's mom said.

"..." Kenshin glanced downward after a few moments. "Kid, how long have you been nursing that busted ankle?"

"E-Eh? You could tell?" He said.

"I know a rolled ankle when I see it." Kenshin said. "Stay off of it for a few days." He said as his mother scolded him. "Ice it up and you should be fine after that."

"And me?" The daughter said with a shy look.

"..." Kenshin grinned. "You're actually perfectly healthy, little missy."

Vali's mother bowed toward Kenshin with a smile. "Thank you sir. My children's health means the world to me."

"Um, actually ma'am, would you allow me to run a health check on you as well?" Kenshin asked.

"On me?" Vali's mother asked. "Well...I guess it's been a while...so OK." She said with a cheerful smile.

"OK, please close your eyes." Kenshin said. "I won't do anything invasive, just take a deep breath and relax ma'am."

"OK..." Vali's mother inhaled deeply and exhaled. "OK, do what you gotta do.."

Kenshin extended his hand letting a magic circle float past her. "Hrm..." He held a clipboard in front of him, making it look like he was going over a spreadsheet of her health. He already knew this woman was healthy. What he was looking at was diagnostics to a seal. "That seal huh? Kinda low level, but I guess Razevam was in a hurry."

"Kenshin what are you doing?" Kenshin turned to see Vali behind him.

"You a favor what does it look like?" Kenshin asked. "Alright ma'am I'm just going to press my fingers on your forehead. Please keep your eyes closed."

"OK, but who is that other voice, should my children be concerned." Vali's mother said as Kenshin pressed his index and middle fingers against her forehead.

"Oh don't mind him, he's just my nurse." Kenshin nonchalantly stated as he went into focus.

"Nngh!" Vali froze

"You'll feel a slight headache and will probably fall to your knees, this is normal." Kenshin said.

"A-Aaah!" Vali's mother did the exact thing Kenshin had described.

"Mom, Mommy!" Her children said crowding around her.

"Kenshin! !" Vali growled angrily as he punched at Kenshin's face.

"!" Kenshin dodged and grabbed Vali's wrist. "Calm down!"

"She doesn't need to remember me! My existence caused her nothing but pai-" Vali was cut off.

"And do you really think she thought of you like that? !" Kenshin said slugging Vali across the face.

"Grhh! I wanted to let her live in peace!" Vali said punching Kenshin back.

"Vali?"

"? !" Kenshin and Vali turned to see Vali's mother standing, staring at them both with wide eyes.

Her eyes filled with tears. "Vali...is that really you?"

"..." Kenshin moved behind Vali and pushed him forward, his Balance Breaker, that he had been using against Kenshin, disabling.

"A-Aah!" Vali gasped

"Yes. This is your baby boy." Kenshin said with a smile.

"K-Kenshin!" Vali shouted before his mother hugged him tightly. "A-Aah..."

"Razevam explained everything to me before he died. You are my baby boy." Vali's mother said with a giggle

"Dad did...huh?" Vali said.

"I know he was harsh on you Vali-Chan, but one day, could you forgive him for following his father's orders?" Vali's mother asked.

"Hey mister...you're not actually a doctor are you?" Vali's brother said.

"Nah I'm not, I just needed to have a conversation with your mother." Kenshin said with a smile. "Still though, stay off that ankle. I was serious about that, just looking at it, it seems you rolled it pretty badly. What I said was actually sound medical advice, stay off of it, ice it up, in a few days you'll be good." . Anyway. This silver haired guy your mother is hugging is your big brother, or rather your half brother. He has a different father from you all." Kenshin said.

"Vali, all these memories...I've missed you so much!"

For the first time in his life, since he was exiled by Rizevim. Vali's eyes filled with tears as he buried his face into the crook of his mother's neck, his pride not allowing him to sob loudly, but still sobs escaped his lips.

"Am I OK too Mister? Even if you aren't a doctor?" Vali's half sister said tugging on Kenshin's pant leg.

"..." Kenshin placed a hand on her head. "Hm..." He closed his eyes. "Well, on second thought, you might have a slight case of an upset tummy, but that's nothing to worry about. You'll be fine, get some bedrest, keep your fluids up. When you have to go to the bathroom, don't ignore it, you'll be OK."

Finally Vali pulled away from his mother and smiled. "I've...gotta go."

"I know, you're needed somewhere, right Vali?" Vali's mother asked.

"Yeah." Vali said.

"Welp, you little munchkins, Big Bro and I gotta go save the world." Kenshin said.

"OK! Bye Kenshin, bye Big Brother!"

"!" Vali' eyes widened, his back turned to them, but slowly a smile appeared on his face as the two walked away. Kenshin flashing a grin and a thumbs up at them. As soon as they were far enough away Vali cleared his throat. "Kenshin...although...every fiber of my being wants to obliterate you for doing that..." He took a breathe. "Thank you..."

"Vali, after I told you my own family history, you HAD to know that was coming." Kenshin grinned. "Visit her and the family from time to time, don't wait in the wings like some watchful guardian. She's probably always felt like something was missing."

"I see..." Vali said. "So now what?"

"Isn't that obvious? We pinpoint where Trihexa is going to appear, and we get to work and wreck their shit!" Kenshin said.

(break)

In a similar mountainous region of a certain European country, the battle against Trihexa, an army of Evil Dragons, and an army of fake Sekiryuutei were fighting a ragtag force made up of the Vali team, the Slash Dog Team, magicians from other organizations that belonged to DxD. Both the Tepes and Carmilla factions even squashed their own beefs and joined together to drive back Trihexa, the Evil Dragons, the headquarters of the church, reincarnated angels and even high class devils who held territories in Europe came with their peerages. Among them were several Ultimate Class Devils including Tannin, the Blaze Meteor Dragon.

Trihexa had obliterated a mountain after the Grendel and Ladon clones had stormed forward. Now the latter was nothing for Vali to handle, still he thought.

"The Holy Grail isn't here, still there are strong enemies." Vali thought.

"Vali Lucifer." Vali turned to see Tertium standing next to him.

"Tertium Averruncus." Vali said. "So, you come with a fraction of Mundus Magicus' military might?"

"Mundus Magicus is suffering attacks as well, they may not have an Apophis or Azi Dahaka over there, but they are fierce nonetheless. The average soldier is nothing compared to someone like you, Kenshin or myself."

"True True..." Vali said before locking his eyes on Azi Dahaka. "Tertium, was it really a wise choice to send Negi Springfield and her allies to Japan?"

"If the Holy Grail isn't here. It's with Kenshin's forces at Japan. I don't doubt Kenshin's or his forces' strength, but a little more help could never hurt." Tertium said. "That said, you seem awfully interested in Azi Dahaka. Care to explain why?"

"I'll only say that we've fought before, even after I wounded him, he still kept laughing as he fought back. He withstood a lot of attacks. Azi Dahaka and Apophis are manipulating Trihexa by it's destructive desires, but still if Azi Dahaka wanted, he could destroy all of Europe...Still." Vali smirked. "It'll be good if I can find a chance to settle things."

Tertium glanced at Vali, seeing a growing look of excitement on the Hakuryuukou's face. "These fake Sekiryuutei are beneath you." Tertium said. "Hell, I'd be revolted, being faced with an army of fake Kenshins."

"Yeah." Vali said. "...!"

"What the? !" Tertium said.

The Trihexa in front of them cried out in pain before becoming entrapped in a barrier. "Wait, this is the technique Azazel spoke of!" Vali said.

"Wait, you mean, Kenshin and the forces in Japan succeeded?" Tertium asked.

"They've completed step one. We still need to secure the last Holy Grail and seal this monster. It won't be any better than the last one, in fact it may be worse, but it will give us all time to prepare." Vali said. "With Trihexa paralyzed, our priority is containment and mop up." Vali said.

"I see. I'll tell the mages to do just that." Tertium said taking off.

Vali scanned the surrounding area, looking for the most dangerous foe. Which he found standing on top of a mountain. It's three heads staring at him.

"Vali." Vali turned his head. He found Tobio approaching him, a countless number of colossal blades stabbing Evil Dragons erupting from the ground behind him. "Go, it's obvious he's challenging you. Go settle the score. Even then, you don't want them to continue wreaking havoc, right? If this continues, it won't just be the major cities of Europe. No, it would extend to the small towns.

"!" Behind the helmet of his Scale Mail, Vali's eyes widened. He realized what Tobio was trying to tell him. His mind wandered back to the safety of the family he had...his mother and two step siblings. The only other time he'd felt such conflict in his heart was when he planned to challenge Kenshin to a deathmatch back in Makai. Azi Dahaka needed to be defeated, but...

"Va-kun."

Vali turned to see Lavinia smiling at him. ""It's OK, Leave this place to me, Tobi and your friends, kay?" Lavinia said.

"..." Vali stared at Lavinia before closing his eyes with a smile. "Tobio, Lavinia.."

As Lavinia said what she said, she froze the Evil Dragons in the air, at her side was a humanoid figure made of ice totaling at a height of three meters. It wore a dress, had four slender arms, lacked a nose, but had a total of six eyes on the left side of it's face while it's right was studded with what looked to be the thorns of a rose.

This was Absolute Demise, an independent avatar type, once activated, the Ice Princess would appear at her wielder's side. Obeying their commands and freeze anything. As long as Lavinia wanted to, she could turn the entire area into a frozen world. At maximum range. A small country would experience an ice age if Lavinia so much as willed it, and that wasn't even taking into account the talents of Lavinia herself who had the ability to utilize various types of magics. Against all of this, the Mass Produced Evil Dragons stood zero chance. At the same time, Bikou who had accompanied Tobio and Lavinia grinned as he shot his Nyoi Bo and stabbed several Evil Dragons.

"Kakaka, that's how it is! Vali, get moving, we've got this, go and kick the dog shit out of Azi Dahaka who's controlling Trihexa." Bikou said.

On another side Arthur used Caliburn to release a massive holy wave which split the barriers that were put up by the Ladon type Evil Dragons. "You're the leader here, give us a good show, you are the dragon that Caliburn and I have chosen after all, Show me how a dragon survives."

Kuroka relentlessly incinerating Ladon type Evil Dragons with a countless number of Kasha. "You know Vali, even though you turned me down, I always thought that following you was a good thing. Thanks to you Issei and Kenshin, I'm able to laugh together with my imouto again." Kuroka's smile widened. "Words can't express how thankful I am for that, it's blown away all the unpleasant feelings of the past nyan~ Sooooo..."

Le Fay batted Evil Dragons away with her magic while Fenrir and Gogmagog defended her. "The Two Heavenly Dragons of this era and the Dragon of the Elements are good friends, and I really like it! It's really cool!"

Vali stood stock still. Fenrir tore any Grendel type Evil Dragon to shreds while the ten meter Gogmagog released lasers from it's eyes while rockets launched from it's arms, downing more of the mass produced evil dragons. His current friends, his old friends had said that to him. He then something Kenshin said to him. It was shortly after Kenshin had returned from Mundus Magicus.

"What's your secret? How do you keep driving yourself to get so strong? That it outstrips my reason?" Vali said.

"Because I have something I can't live without." Kenshin said before smiling. "You weren't there, but while we were at Mundus Magicus...Ialda put me in a whole new definition of down bad."

"You?" Vali said

"Yeah, Me." Kenshin said with a solemn smile, before glancing at Rias, Issei, Yukari, Miyuki, Hikari and everyone else. "If you want any advice from me on how to get stronger...find something to hold on to and never let go. That's all I got for you." He said, still staring at the others. "Vali...I'm strong yes, that will never be denied, but without them...and I know this sounds cheesy as fuck...but without them, I might as well be the weakest man in existence...because without them...what does my strength even mean?"

"..." Vali closed his eyes. His team, Tobio, Lavinia and Granberia...he sighed softly as the red haired dragonkin came to mind. "...Kenshin...I see what you mean...and everyone...thank you...thank you all...Miyuki, I'm truly sorry to have lost what we had together, but at the same time. Granberia, I am glad to have gained what we have now. In short...thank you all..."

Ikuse Tobio smiled, looking at Vali's back. "Vali, your feelings are conveyed enough." He said. "You chose to live your way of life as one of the Two Heavenly Dragons and as a Lucifer." Tobio said. "If that is your answer, show it to the world!" Tobio stepped forward, his Sacred Gear, the black dog, Canis Lykkon, otherwise known as Jin, or Slash Dog alongside Tobio.

"Wait, Tobio, are you seriously? !" Vali said.

Instead of responding to Vali's question. A curse like chant was calmly and deeply recited from Tobio's lips.

"I sing for the slaying of a thousand humans."

Tobio and Jin were enshrouded in a jet black haze. It then spread out, covering the surrounding completely. Tobio went on.

"I praise the murder of ten thousand cycles of ill omens."

Tobio's and Jin's limbs gradually dissolved into the darkness, and turned into something with an abnormal figure.

"My name has been spread throughout the nether abyss. It will become that of the false god of the polar night and midnight sun."

Jin, the black dog sank into the darkness at his feet. "Thou shalt become my demon blade of darkness that annihilates everything."

At this point Ikuse Tobio's body was completely enveloped in darkness. Although his figure retained something of a human resemblence. At the same time it had become something else entire. His head and face had morphed into something resembling a dog. The darkness continued to converge around Tobio's body, forming forelegs, hindlings, a tail, and it opened it's massive jaws.

The Vampires, which where their allies all stepped back. "The Black Hound of Baskerville? !"

"I wouldn't go that far." Tobio said in a humored tone as the darkness around him formed large packs of dogs with jet black fur. "Now to bring them to life. To become something False, the creator of the paranormal!"

"AAAAAAOOOOUUUUUUUU! ! ! !"

A wolflike howl resounded in their voices. It shook everyone on both sides to their core. "Oooooooooohhhhh..."

Vali looked over, only to see a humanoid beast clad in darkness. Gathered around him were enormous dogs that breathed darkness. A figure, which Vali identified as Tobio, was holding a long and sharp scythe, which had extended out from under his feet, as if it was harvesting the souls of the living, while the packs of dogs resembled apostles of Hell. Even then the phenomena wasn't finished. Jet black blades grew, and grew and kept doing so without any sign of stopping, with the momentum from their extension, they tore apart the Evil Dragons and the fake Sekiryuutei.

"Off in the distance, the Praetor of Megalomesembria watched this with wide eyes, as Tobio lightly swung his scythe, all of the trees, rocks, and Grendel type Evil Dragons were sliced in two. A beast of darkness he had become, Tobi silently walked through the mountain forest.

Tertium narrowed his eyes at this as the packs of dogs. "It's like they are all his wolf pack. They grab the blades he made with their mouths and move in unison cutting down the Evil Dragons. He and they sink into the shadows moving through them and mercilessly reap the Evil Dragons lives." Tertium said. "I'm glad I left my Ministra back in Mundus Magicus and told the other Ala Alba members to stay back."

Achilla, descendant of Achilles watched in amazement along with Kuroka, Arthur, Le Fay and Bikou.. "He moves as if he is the unquestioned alpha male." Achilla said.

"So this is what another Abyss side of a Balance Breaker looks like." Vali said. "Though it's still powerless against Trihexa, being the monstrosity he is. Three types of Balance Breakers exist, even including Subspecies. One is strengthening, another was evolving to a point of transformation. By pursuing the arrogance of oneself and the Sacred Gear, one would fuse together with their Sacred Gear to produce the Abyss side. The type that Tobio and I belong to...but then there were exceptions like Hyoudou Issei, Kiba Yuuto's Holy Demonic Sword, Gasper Vladi and Saji Genshirou and yes, even Kenshin, Miyuki and Yukari...They are all an abnormal generation, but this is especially true with Kenshin himself.

Kenshin's power had evolved beyond the Abyss state of a Balance Breaker. It was what gave rise to the Demigod State, Azazel had theorized. And frighteningly enough, Azazel also theorized that it was STILL evolving. It had been proven when Kenshin achieved the Dragon God of the Elements form. It had left Kenshin weakened, but Vali knew. He knew Kenshin's body would acclimate. Issei, Kenshin and Vali had all agreed that one day they would all throw down again, to prove who among them was strongest, but they all agreed that it wouldn't be to the death. Vali also wondered about Issei's evolution as well, the Dragon Deification he went through, but Lavinia's voice snapped him from his reverie.

"Go quickly Va-kun. This place is going to become a world of ice and blades, OK?" She said

"!" Vali leaped from the ground, turning to Tertium and Ricardo. "Get off the ground now! !"

"! !" Tertium and Ricardo ordered their forces to do so as Lavinia activated her own Balance Breaker. The entire mountain was frozen solid. There were clusters of overgrown blades everywhere. Lavinia hadn't lied in what she had said. "Holy shit..." Ricardo said.

"I'm suddenly glad that I sent Negi back to Japan." Tertium said with wide eyes. "Holy shit, my sister can't even do this."

"No kidding, this is some next level Evangeline in her armament type shit." Ricardo said.

Vali shook his head at the two, but heard Tannin's voice shout out to him as the Hakuryuukou moved to pursue Azi Dahaka.

"Be wary of his spells, Hakuryuukou-shounen!"

"? !" Vali was surprised, caught off guard for a moment but silently nodded. He quickly transfixed his attention onto Azi Dahaka's signature and pursued it. "Arthur, Le Fay, Bikou, Achilla, Tertium, Praetor, these lot are yours."

Vali flew at the highest speed he could for a few seconds. Though he was surprised when Azi Dahaka didn't launch any attacks at him, Vali landed in front of him. Azi Dahaka, a colossal black dragon with three heads. He greeted Vali with a welcoming expression.

"Yo, you came white one."

"Yahoo...Apophis asked this detail of us."

"But really we requested it. The Sekiryuutei and Dragon of the Elements would be too focused on Apophis and Trihexa. Especially the Dragon of the Elements and Trihexa!"

"Haha! Thinking that just because he's the Primordial of Life means that he can defeat Trihexa."

"He stands no chance!" Azi Dahaka said.

"..." Vali scowled. "Don't you dare demean my rival like that."

"Aah, indeed. He is putting up a fierce fight against Trihexa. One of Azi Dahaka's heads said.

"Still, Vali Lucifer. This place and the worlds of other mythologies, Makai, and Mundus Magicus are facing a scene of destruction."

"You could even call it a scene of the Apocalypse, what do you see?"

"What do you think?" Azi Dahaka's three head's finished.

"..." Vali didn't reply

"If it was an ally of justice, they would've said something like 'what the hell did you do' or 'Unforgivable! I'll definitely defeat you.' right?" On the other hand, if it was someone evil, they'd probably say something like 'Wahaha, this is truly a marvelous sight!' or maybe. 'Behold, this is the end of the world that I desired.'"

"Please don't get angry!" Azi Dahaka said.

"..." Vali thought of his family in the countryside of this continent. How this entire conflict put them in danger.

"Eh, I'm different though, that was just my impression."

"Fufufu."

"That's the same as what I was thinking.

"This so called destruction started from the era of the gods, and it something that never changes. Further, most of the destruction from what gods or monsters like me cause. What's be done this time isn't like the mass destruction of mythologies, it could be something far exceeding that. Anyway if this goes on, the world will be led to it's end."

Azi Dahaka looked up at the sky, gazing far into the distance, as if to imagine a place that did not exist in this world. "So, I thought, that if another world existed, then their might be existences far beyond my imagination." He turned his heads back toward Vali and said. "A world where mechanical life forms known as ExE fight against spirits. Legends or literature have never described this before, could it be completely uncharted territory? Currently all that is known is that there is Benevolent God that governs the spirits, Resetoras, and the Malevolent God. Melvazoa, who is responsible for the mechanical life forms. That universe is divided in half and dominated by these two gods.

"ExE...Mechanical life forms and...spirits? Could Ragnarok and Alipheese have created the Yonseirei with knowledge imparted from those spirits?" Vali thought, even as his emotions swirled inside him.

"Kukuku, the world known as 'ExE is actually located beyond the existence known as 'DxD' Great Red, don't you think that's something rather interesting?"

Suddenly Vali laughed. "Heh! I never thought you were like a child who adored fairy tales, a legendary is actually talking about things from an unknown world. At least when Kenshin came here we had a chance to research it. That bastard Rizevim was grasping at straws!"

Azi Dahaka smiled mischievously. "Well, it doesn't really matter what kinds of fancy words those guys said. Conquering the world remaking it? Just listening to that makes me laugh. They're just immature selfish brats with a grand delusion. I'll admit I'm no different. Still my line of thought is even simpler. I just want to have a fight with strong foes, and if I'm able to see something rare, if that can be called 'evil' then fine. I'm Evil!" Azi Dahaka said.

Vali's emotions calmed. He knew as long as he lived he would keep his family safe and Granberia could take care of herself, but if she ever needed it, he would keep her safe too. With this, came an indescribable feeling. His opponent was evil, an absolute Evil Dragon. Yet also a legendary dragon. One of the strongest Evil Dragons amongst them all. The malice in front of him felt more fascinating and dangerous than anything he'd ever felt before. Regardless of whether it was the Old Satan Faction, Hyoudou Issei, Cao Cao, Rizevim or Kenshin. They did everything they did for their own ambitions. The Old Satan Faction sought to retake the thrones. Hyoudou Issei did it out of his craving for a woman's breast. Cao Cao merely wanted to see how far he'd go as a human, Rizevim, merely wanted to personify a Devil being Evil.

But Kenshin...he was the enigma among them all. He desired to bring about peace, but was always ready to fight someone. Always ready to come to the table, but if you slighted him and his people, he'd gladly knock your lights out. Azi Dahaka, Apophis understood themselves, and they used that as a foundation to purely pursue destruction."

However living the life Kenshin lived. Vali was utterly confused. Everything about Kenshin's childhood suggested that he'd become an Evil Dragon himself, yet he never did. Had his father, this Albiero person, Nagi Springfield and Arika Anarchia Entheofushia had such an effect on him...that being reunited with his family had such a profound effect on him that it eliminated his wish for vengeance?

Vali's eyes widened as he remembered a conversation with Kenshin.

(flashback)

"Hm? Why am I not pursuing vengeance?" Kenshin asked.

"Well yeah, I mean you have the best reason." Vali said. "Mundus Magicus treated you like shit."

"Because it wouldn't accomplish anything in the end." Kenshin said. "Say I killed them. OK, that's Theo-Chan, Somo, his wife Sarah and their child, Seras and Ricardo whom I had no problems with and Kurt Godel whom proved himself to be trustworthy." "Somo and his family are close friends. Seras and Ricardo are friends of the family as a whole...and I used to be romantically involved with Theo-Chan." Kenshin smiled. "But like I said to start. What does it accomplish? Like I said to you in Makai. Claiming vengeance will only make you feel good for a bit. Peace is all I want now. For that I will fight with everything I have."

"And if others come, thinking your idea of peace is painful?" Vali asked.

"Then I'll ask them why it is such and if they can't be reasoned with...hey..." Kenshin smirked and held his fists up. "...in the end I'm never afraid to run the hands."

"Forcing your will on others...don't you think that's kind of...evil?" Vali asked.

"I trust those around me to keep me on the straight and narrow, and if I ever did go too far off the beaten path. Well I'm sure someone would come along and pop me. Besides. I'm not forcing anything on anyone. If you wanna live in peace and coexistence, cool. If you wanna fight. Just approach the opponent you got your eye on and say 'Hey, I wanna fight you. Just you and me. No disrespect, none of that. I like to fight and you're strong.' I mean if you get turned down, you get turned down. You'll have at least planted a seed in their mind, and those around that person might wonder why they turned you down. So you might get the fight anyway because the people around that opponent kept pestering them about it."

"You make it sound so easy." Vali said.

"Well, I am kinda oversimplifying it." Kenshin chuckled as he sipped from a sake dish. "You could also just say. 'Yeah, I want a match and if you beat the crap out of me, well you beat the crap out of me. No hard feelings. I'll just get stronger and try to come back next time for another match.'"

"Heh." Vali smirked as they both stared into the fire of the campground they were sitting at. "Kenshin, you really are an earnest man."

"Well...I came by it honest." Kenshin said with a chuckle. "Plus...while the gods are strong...I feel like a lot of them have grown complacent." Kenshin said.

"You too huh?" Vali asked.

"You feel that way too?" Kenshin asked.

"Yeah, they've become too reliant on their servants and heroes." Vali said. "Thinking of challenging one of them?"

"Well, I did suggest to Tamamo that she could ask a friend of hers to run up on Tsukuyomi and pop him in the teeth." Kenshin chuckled. "She and Amaterasu are close friends."

"Hahahahaha." Vali chuckled.

(flashback end)

"Oi, are you gonna quit blanking out? You said I was like a little brat. Well I do get told that a lot." Azi Dahaka said.

Vali shook his head. "I was just recalling a past conversation I had with the Dragon of the Elements."

"Aaah..." Azi Dahaka's three heads nodded. "I was watching him before you arrived. He had Apophis literally shook, talking about he'd become complacent, if someone like him could casually grip him by the throat when it took Ra to kill him. He then even removed Apep's arms that he had to reattach with the Holy Grail!" Azi Dahaka said. "He is right however. Complacency does kill strength."

"At least we agree on something, but when I likened you to a brat. It's because being so simple and pure actually makes me like you a bit, Azi Dahaka."

"Hahahahaha." Azi Dahaka laughed at this. "Alright, shall we go again?"

"Let's have a bloody deathmatch!

"I can't help but feel excited as soon as I think about my opponent being one of the Two Heavenly Dragons"

"The one who defeats the Heavenly Dragon gets a medal for being the strongest!"

"Evil Dragons are the strongest!" Azi Dahaka said.

After that was said...silence fell between the two. Azi Dahaka erased the projection he was watching as his aura seeped out from his body. It was searing hot, melting the snow around them. After a few seconds the two vanished and reappeared in the sky. "Haaaaa!" Vali shouted, releasing waves of his own aura at Azi Dahaka. The three headed dragon put up his defensive barriers to defend before unleashing light magic on Vali.

However, since only half his blood belonged to the Devil race this attack hit a lot less effectively than it would against a pure blood devil. However at the same time. This was the Thousand Diabloism Dragon he was dealing with. So even if Vali took a direct hit, he'd get injured for sure. Vali evaded the light magic, his plan being to use the power of Divine Dividing to lessen Azi Dahaka's power, but Azi Dahaka was no fool. He kept releasing light magic to both obstruct Vali and make impossible for Vali to track him.

"Reflect!"

Vali used the ability of Reflect that he learned from Divine Dividing even had from Issei using it through the Dividing Gear and his Wyvern Fairies. The light was directed away from him, sent backwards. "!" Vali looked around as even though they were reflected, they altered course and redirected back toward Vali.

"You honestly fuckin' think I didn't prepare for that? !" Azi Dahaka said as a massive amount erected in the sky. Fire, water, wind, lightning, earth and even darkness filled the sky and the mountain range around them.

However, instead of feeling a sense of dread and fear, all Vali felt was a jolt and chill run down his back...a feeling of excitement. "Kenshin...deep in the throughs of battle, is this what you feel?" He thought as his wings glew brightly as his aura flowed strongly. "If so...I LOVE THIS FEELING!"

"Half Dimension! !"

Tertium had ordered people to assist Vali, but when Half Dimension had been activated. He called them off with wide eyes. "All that magic...is just being depleted by his mana?" His eyes hardened, seeing the light magic still homing in on him. "Shit! Ignore my previous order, get in there!"

"Right!"

"Hm? !" Vali glanced back seeing an inhuman form behind him, tanking the light blast from him.

"Hey be sure to thank him!" Vali glanced over to see a raven haired girl wearing glasses, with an art book in front of her. "Give me a minute Satomi" She said holding her ear. "You might know us as the Ala Alba, the students of Negi-Sensei and Kenshin-Sensei. That hairy old guy Ricardo asked us to be here."

"Exactly!" A demon that was slugged away from Haruna by a metal fist. Another girl with dark hair, but tied into messy twintails appeared behind her.

"Thanks Satomi." Haruna said.

"Vali-San, to your right, left and above!"

"!" Vali leaped out of the way as the three pronged attack collided and canceled itself out. "What?"

A purple haired figure came floating down on a broom. "H-Hello. I'm Nodoka Miyazaki." She introduced. "My artifact allows me to read minds."

"I see...then get lost." Vali said.

"E-Eh? !" Nodoka said.

"Hey, that's rude!" Satomi said.

"Nodoka's only trying to help!" Haruna griped.

"Help which I do not need." Vali said. "I'm not trying to be rude, but your services are best used elsewhere."

Nodoka looked down at her artifact, having unconsciously read Vali's mind. "Oh I see. You're like Kenshin-Sensei. You revel in a challenge."

"? !" Vali glanced at her with wide eyes.

"D-Don't worry, that's all I got out of you." Nodoka said. "You just don't want an unfair advantage right?"

"..." Vali closed his eyes and smiled. "Yes I guess that would describe me. Also I appreciate the assist, but could you two go as well, I'm going to take him alone. We've fought before and I wish to settle things. Go back and help defend with your friends."

"Well if you really feel that way." Haruna said as she and her construct disappeared.

"Well, as long as Kenshin and Negi make it out of this. Good luck." Satomi said as she vanished.

"Kenshin and Negi...?" Vali said.

"Chao Lingshen-San is the granddaughter of Kenshin and Negi. She came back in time to try and reveal magic in our original world. , She was Satomi-San's best friend...anyway." Nodoka smiled. "Good luck Vali-San."

"Heh, I don't think she has anything to worry about." Vali said. "Kenshin's not going anywhere...and I'm pretty sure that Negi woman will do whatever it takes to stay with him."

"Hmhmhm!" Nodoka giggled. "It's like you've known them for years." She said. "Also, Tertium sent us."

"Well then tell him I don't need any help. This three headed bastard is all mine." Vali said as Nodoka vanished. "Sorry for that sudden interruption. It won't happen again."

"Gahahaha! No worries, we are warring after all."

"Now, allow me to use my forbidden technique now! ! !"

"Far from ordinary yo!"

"If you can defend against it, then SHOW ME!" Azi Dahaka said.

"!" Vali looked on as the crest of magic circles behind him began to change. What emerged were all ancient magic characters, in a forbidden language. Those same circles emitted a dangerous glow as they distorted. He recalled a passing conversation he had with Kenshin and Negi about their previous fight as he prepared to defend himself.

"This image..." Negi said.

"What is it?" Vali said.

"It almost seems like this dragon was about to invoke Ancient Magic." Negi said holding up an image of Azi Dahaka.

"Hrm...something that surpasses the King level magic that you use." Kenshin said. "Makes sense, considering he's the Thousand Diablosim Dragon."

"Is it really that threatening." Vali asked.

"Ancient magic comes from a time when magic use wasn't regulated." Kenshin said.

"People routinely died launching their strongest spells." Negi said.

"Then what was the point?" Vali asked. "Why launch a spell that would kill you, with no guarantee that it would kill your opponent."

"Foolish pride." Negi said shaking her head.

"Yeah...I may have my pride but I'm not going to die for it." Kenshin said.

As Vali recalled this, he was dodging electric currents, purple flames in the shape of a skull, cyclones with curses revolving around them, jet black lightning, a cursed virgin Mary which was crying tears of blood, a one eyed giant that seemed as if it would steal your life simply by looking at it, and various other different things...forbidden class attributes, summoning magic, curses, all of the ominous magic that existed in the world had been called forth, and all of it was now chasing Vali. If it were to strike him. It would result in his death, not even leaving a shred of a corpse behind. "..." Vali closed his eyes, seeing the images of his mother, and little sister and brother.

"Come back to visit sometime big bro!"

"It was nice meeting you!"

"Vali...I'm sorry for how Razevam had to treat you...but please come back."

Then the image of a red haired woman, wearing a headplate and matching armor. Her arms and legs covered in green scales. She held a greatsword at her side. This image turned to smile at him, her eyes shining. "I'll do everything I can to come back to you, so I expect the same." She said. "Well, are you going to fold, Vali Lucifer?" She swung her greatsword outward. "Come on! You're the one a chose as a mate!"

Vali's vision returned to the present as he smirked as he raised his hand reciting the silver chant. "I, who is about to awaken, am the Hakuryuukou who will take the law down to the darkness! I walk the road of domination with infinite destruction through the imaginary dream! I shall become a pure Emperor of White Dragon!"

"Who are you kidding Granberia, Mom, Brother, Sister? !" Vali said as his silvery white aura exploded outward.

"And I shall have you obey the silvery white illusions and the perfect evil ways!"

"Emperio Juggernaut Overdrive! !"

"There's no way I WON'T return to you! !" Vali thought.

"Kenshin...I finally get it!" Vali thought. "Why you're so strong!" He thought as he avoided Azi Dahaka's attacks as his now silver armor glew. "You love a good fight more than anything, but you always want to get back to those you love. It's cheesy as hell, but for you, it fits! I found my family...and...a woman to be with...and I will get back to them!"

"Heh?" Azi Dahaka said.

"Haaaa! Compression Divider! ! !" Vali roared.

Azi Dahaka watched as all of his techniques were compressed. "What?"

"This Compression Divider even erased the Ultimate Class Grim Reaper Pluto. Though even then I wasn't using it's full power due to being poisoned by Samael. What you face here is the fullest extent." Vali said as all the magic that was sent toward him was crushed to nothing. Any and all techniques Azi Dahaka sent toward Vali were crushed to nothing, before suddenly stopping, it wasn't that Azi Dahaka ran out of energy, but it was from sheer excitement from seeing Vali's power.

"Ghh...!" Vali fell onto one knee, his Scale Mail turning back to white, his power depleted. His mana and stamina both severely spent. Still, the proud Hakuryuukou flew toward Azi Dahaka quietly, though when he landed, he knelt once more.

"I'll say this...you are strong...way above Rizevim. Hell, if you and the Dragon of the Elements fought. I wouldn't know who to bet on."

"Heh...well...that's good to know...though I'd probably put my money on Kenshin if what the Dark Goddess said about him is true." Vali said.

"Still though, Azi Dahaka has already reached the class of a Heavenly Dragon." Albion said. "Maybe Ragnarok has gotten stronger since those days, but we're all on that level too. Like Kenshin, Ragnarok and Crom Cruach.

"Well then...since that's how it is, go ahead and use Albion's true power. You know, that power of yours that caused you to be revered as the Poison Dragon Emperor, you know Albion? No, Gwlber?" Azi Dahaka mocked.

"Poison Dragon Emperor? How was Ragnarok a match for you then?" Vali thought.

"My Mind is hazy, I don't remember why Ragnarok was able to avoid it when we fought alone." Albion said.

"But isn't it precisely because you had that power that the gods of the various factions feared and avoided you?" Azi Dahaka mocked. "Your graceful pure white body had a highly toxic poison that even they feared. I like that idea you know? ! It's such an ironic power"

"I want to see the poisonous you."

"I want to see the deadly poison!" Azi Dahaka said.

Vali realized Albion was in a complex state of mind. Albion denied himself as one who used toxic poison, and even hated speaking of it, he even got angry when Vali himself brought it up. Vali himself believed that he didn't possess the power and that the powers of the Hakuryuukou was enough, which is why Albion never brought it up. At the same time Vali...even though he had gained closure...couldn't stop himself from hating his father. Vali still proudly carried the Lucifer name. Also he felt Albion's own values and ideas had begun to change while they were together. The deeper reason was the current Sekiryuutei and Dragon of the Elements, the images of Issei Hyoudou and Kenshin Tsuki Kuroshi. The opportunities he had to communicate with not only the Sekiryuutei Ddraig, but the Four Elemental Spirits.'"

He knew what made Issei what he was...but he still needed to figure out the enigma that was Kenshin Tsuki Kuroshi, Vali understood his strength why he didn't pursue vengance, but he just didn't get how Kenshin acted. He finally had gotten in contact with the Yonseirei and even Yuurei himself.

"Eh? What are you doing here Vali-Chan?" Sylph asked.

(smack!)

Vali blinked as Gnome smacked Sylph.

"Aah, don't fret over that, Gnomey does that to me all the time." Sylph said with a bright smile.

"Is this what Kenshin deals with on a daily basis?" Vali wondered.

"Not on a daily basis...but enough." He turned to find Undine scowling at him. "Excuse the look, but I'm still angry that you tried to kill him."

"...but we..."

"I don't fucking care." Undine said cutting him off. "If you were anyone else I'd have already drowned you"

Vali visibly stepped back. A wall of flames appeared behind him. "Relax. Though all of us are angry with you...Kenshin helped us understand why." He turned to see Salamander smiling.

"Then why is she so pissed off?" Vali asked

"Well..." Salamander trailed off. "I expected him to master my power first."

"Or mine..." Sylph giggled.

"He always seemed to be ready to tank an attack, a trademark of my ability." Gnome said

"But he mastered Deeny's power first. This charmed her like you wouldn't believe!" Sylph said.

Instead of surrounding Sylph's head in a water bubble, Undine cried out. "Sylph!"

"Ahahahahaha! I got you to blu-glubglub!"

"Um..." Vali blinked as Undine did actually surround Sylph's head in a water bubble.

"Don't worry it's not hurting her, it's just one of our ways of getting her to shut up for a bit." Salamander said.

"Oh...if only I could do that with Bikou and Kuroka." Vali grumbled.

The Four Spirits faced him. "After you learned the truth." Salamander said.

"Did you really want to kill Kenshin-Chan?" Sylph asked as Gnome and Undine scowled at him.

"...No." Vali said. "Even going into it I felt like I was making a huge mistake which was proven right. I mean...I have Granberia now and I love her, but...before I tried to kill Kenshin, I loved Miyuki too."

Salamander nodded with a smile. "Well thanks for loving my student.

"Yeah, Kenshin-Chan considers you a brother in arms!" Sylph said cheerfully. "If he forgives Vali-Chan, I will too! Just don't do it again, 'Kay!"

"You love to do battle, and you also love my student Granberia. I guess that's enough for me." Salamander said, before her hair burned brightly. "Still though, try to kill him again and I'll roast you alive."

"No more conflict with Kenshin..." Gnome said.

"But what if he wants to fight me?" Vali asked.

"That's different, he doesn't want to kill you. He finds his fights with you as entertaining." Gnome said.

"Hmn...I see." Vali turned to Undine. "...What do I need to do to convince you? I know we'll never have the relationship you and your other hosts had. Like they said...you seem to love Kenshin on a deep level."

"..." Undine closed her eyes. "Because he is earnest in wanting to save nature and the slime race. If things went on as they were during the Youkai Revolution. I'd be the only one left, can you imagine that hell of loneliness?"

"I imagine I can seeing as Granberia's the last Dragonkin." Vali said.

"I've lived a lot longer than her. I get that loneliness hits us all the same, but Kenshin vowed to me that he would save my people and you tried to kill him before he could do that."

"So that's all you want him for? To save your people?" Vali said. "Sounds a lot like what Rikudou was doing to him."

"Uh kid, maybe dial it back before she drowns you?" Salamander said before Undine shook her head. "Undine?"

"No, he's right, but he only looks at it from the surface." Undine said. "Oceans run deep and I am no different. "Yes saving my people plays a part, but...his will to save those in need, his boundless will to do right...his kind heart and soul...and so much more is what caught me."

"I see..." Vali said. "And I imagine Salamander likes him because of his love of battle."

"Well it goes deeper than that, his promise to stay alive with us as the Primordial of Life plays a part too. You already know about his ferocity." Salamander said.

"For me, it's that he likes to have fun!" Sylph said with a bright smile.

Gnome closed her eyes. Vali blinked, but saw her clenching a miniature mud doll that was in Kenshin's likeness. "Excuse her, she's a spirit of few words."

"!" Vali looked over seeing a shadowy figure. "You...the Tenrai Sesshou Yuurei?"

"In the shadows!" Yuurei laughed. "Anyway, I won't say much because you need to get back out there and pop that three headed idiot. But you want to know what makes Partner who he is? The answer is simple these days. He's free."

"Free?" Vali asked.

"To be who or whatever he wants whenever he wants. In that sense he's as free a spirit as these four. He can be whatever he wants. So he chooses to be what he is. A fun loving, curious individual who wants to preserve nature and peace, but won't hesitate to deck you in the teeth if you piss him off. It's kind of complicated and even he's still figuring it out for himself." Yuurei said before extending his hand toward him. "Now get outta here!" Yuurei turned to the Yonseirei after kicking Vali out of the mental space. "Did I describe him well enough?"

"Yes." Undine said with a smile. "That actually describes Kenshin wonderfully since he defeated Ialda Baoth. He finally has some sense of what he wants to be, but he's still trying to figure himself out."

"Yeah, exactly what life should be." Salamander said with a grin.

Vali's consciousness came back to the forefront, realizing he'd been dodging Azi Dahaka's attacks the entire time. "Were they helping me while talking to me? I guess it wouldn't do much if I got vaporized mid conversation."

"You know, I've always felt that you, the Sekiryuutei and the Dragon of the Elements resemble each other in some way you know. If I had to state the reason, it would be that all three of you wanting to protect something. For the Sekiryuutei and the Dragon of the Elements it's obvious. They want to protect the ones they love, and in the latter's case...the freedom he gained when he finally killed that insane bitch, Ialda Baoth, but you...aren't you just protecting your own pride?" Azi Dahaka asked. "No...you only have those eyes because you want to protect someone special to you...is it a woman."

"...He's seeing right through me..." Vali thought, his thoughts traveling to his family...his teammates...no his friends...and Granberia.

He then chuckled a bit. "I don't have as much to protect as Hyoudou Issei or Kuroshi Tsuki Kenshin. Still a small human family lives near here that I will protect. The others can handle themselves. Do you hold disdain for me. Personally I don't think that having such thoughts is a bad thing."

"Kukuku! Not at all. I've fought several like you in the past that they were the last line of protection for those precious to them. I feel zero contempt for you. In fact, you might be stronger than them all!" Azi Dahaka said as a magic circle erupted around Vali as the area around him began to distort, however.

(boom!)

"What? !" Azi Dahaka shouted.

"Sorry Azi Dahaka." Vali said. "But the Dragon of the Elements, that free spirited bastard threw a wrench into your plans here. You planned to put me in a false world where I'd be with my family, right? Well because he's an invasive jackass who doesn't know when to butt out, he revealed me to my mother and I already met her two children. They're nice kids."

To Vali's surprise Azi Dahaka chuckled a bit. "I see, he beat me to the punch. I had actually just wanted to give you a nice dream."

"Yeah, it probably would have been one of the best, but you probably would have killed me in the meantime." Vali drawled.

"Actually no." Azi Dahaka said...before his expression became completely serious. "Hakuryuukou Vali, even though it didn't work, I do apologize for trying to put you into that lowly technique of mine. I recognize you as my greatest and most worthy opponent!"

"..." Vali smirked behind his helmet. "I could say the same about you, Azi Dahaka. I also feel it from the bottom of my heart. This battle carries a lot of pride for all of us. I'll defeat you, all of you and protect that family." Vali said as the uncertainties in his heart and mind were blown away.

"Mother, my siblings, Granberia...and yes even you two, just so I can kick your asses later...Issei, Kenshin!"

"Vali...you know what...it seems you've accepted yourself...I can see into your consciousness...how happy you were to reunite with your mother...so I think I'll do the same and pick up the name that I once discarded." Albion said.

All of the gems in Vali's Scale Mail released a gentle warmth and a bright glow that never manifested. While being submersed in this light, it also caused him to remember the warmth he received when he visited his family for the first time. When his mother recognized him, playing a little soccer against his younger brother, he'd admittedly dialed it back just so they could have fun. He'd even played House with his little sister, something his mother appreciated. Then he remembered the various moments he'd spent with Granberia. She only had the flame spirit Salamander as a mother figure...and according to both her and Kenshin, that wasn't saying much, as she was more of a teacher.

"! !, Vali, my voice can you hear it?" Ophis' voice rang in his head.

"Ophis?" Vali asked.

"Kenshin and I have chanted together before, Issei chanted with Imouto Lilith." Ophis said. "Chant together with me."

"Huh...Chant, if it's a chant together with you, it must be something great." Vali said.

"It is different from the time when Issei used my power. Vali has recognized himself and Albion accepted himself. Issei hasn't yet and Kenshin's body and soul wasn't ready for it yet. I just want to lend you a hand." Ophis said. "Because...you and your team were the only ones who talked with me."

"Well I know you have Kenshin now, but if you want I'll be your conversation partner anytime. That hasn't changed even now." Vali said.

"Well if you're going to chant I will as well, Vali, Ophis" Albion said

"The pure White Dragon dwelling within me, rise up from your supremacy."

Vali's silver armour that exceeded supremacy gradually began to form jet black patterns on it. "The silvery white Morning Star I possess withinme, claim the throne of Dawn!" Albion chanted as the white wings of light on his back, started to become infused with black, as well as pair after pair of new wings extended outward.

"The Jet Black God of Infinity."

"The mysterious and unfathomable father of Devils." Vali said after Ophis as twelve jet black wings grew out of Vali's back, as all the edges of his armor sharpened, and become something with an organic form.

"We shall transcend the limits to accept the oath."

The crest of Lucifer appeared on all of the gems of Vali's Scale Mail and unleashed a dazzling brilliance. The final line of this chant. "Thou shalt kneel down before our bright and glorious existence!"

"Dragon Lucifer Drive!" A powerful and majestic voice rang out.

I don't seem to remember a black aura on Kenshin when he used the Dragon God of the Elements form." Vali thought as his new form activated..

"His body and his soul, even before the latter was rebuilt were most used to my aura." Ophis said. "He carried a shard of me in his body since his birth. I was able to contain the aura in the orbs of his Scale Mail." Ophis said before saying. "Enough talking, you have

Vali pointed at Azi Dahaka while surrounded in a silver and black aura that radiated from Vali's entire body. "The power of the Hakuryuukou Gwiber and the power of the Satan Lucifer, this is the form I have awakened by combining them as one...Azi Dahaka, I will defeat you!"

"Hahahaha!" Azi Dahaka laughed. "If the Sekiryuutei under went Dragon Deification and the Dragon of the Elements literally became a god himself. Then this is the Hakuryuukou's corresponding Satanification! Truly strong, this is the ultimate power! That idiot Rizevim was just an imposter of the Satan Lucifer. You are the true one! I was right about that at least. The true heir, Vali Lucifer!"

Vali spread his twelve jet black wings, his armor releasing a silvery white luster. "My name is Lucifer. The inheritor of the Satan's blood, Vali Lucifer!"

In response, all three of Azi Dahaka's heads let out a ear splitting roar as two wings opened from his back. "Indeed! Even if you share the name of Lucifer, when compared to that idiot Rizevim, I definitely like you more, Vali Luciffffeeeeeeeeeeerrr!"

"Hahahaha!" Vali laughed. "Same! Compared to Rizevim, you're a hundred times better!" Vali laughed as he swung all of his wings out, causing the snow below them to melt and the rock underneath to become exposed. "Haaa!" Vali and Azi Dahaka began to clash in the sky. Vali thrust his hand outward, releasing a jolt of demonic energy. Azi Dahaka immediately used teleportation magic to evade. However the resulting attack obliterated that had been behind him.

"Hahahaha! This is seriously amazing! That previous attack was way too relaxed!"

"This is really quite scary!"

"What outrageous power!" Azi Dahaka said.

"Hrm!" Vali grunted as he sent his power to his wings. In response those twelve wings came off of Vali's back and began to change form. They resembled Issei's Dividing Wyvern Fairies. The same power of the Hakuryuukou that the Sekiryuutei obtained from absorbing one of his gems. "I see...so it worked. When Kenshin and Issei told me about this...I couldn't quite believe it, but I could never get it to manifest." Vali thought as he began to laugh at the irony of it all as the twelve wyverns circled around him. "Go!" He said.

The twelve wyverns heeded Vali's command and darted toward Azi Dahaka, one of them even morphing into a small cannon, firing a powerful shot of Lucifer's aura. The eyes of all of Azi Dahaka's heads all emitted a strange glow and miniature magic circles expanded from them, blocking the attack. It was almost like Gasper's Forbidden Balor View...no...maybe it was a replication of the Demon God Balor's Evil Eyes.

Vali and Azi Dahaka continued to fight in the sky. "You know I fought that purple haired girl you were sweet on along with a few others. I didn't exactly take her seriously and her planning cost me two of my heads!" Azi Dahaka said dodging attacks filled by the aura of Lucifer, Vali's wyverns reflecting them back, but only to be met with defensive magics.

Suddenly a kite like projection of various magic circles appeared in the sky, covering it once again.

"How about a taste of this!"

"Hrm!" Vali commanded his wyverns to remain in front of him to reflect the blast.

"There's more to come fool!" Azi Dahaka said as he vanished without a trace using space teleportation magic. When he did reappear after Vali reflected the attack, he was facing more than a hundred copies of Azi Dahaka, which were all perfect copies, activating countless magic circles, an immeasurable amount of magic attacks, Vali was even contemplating whether or not they were all real, but if was Azi Dahaka, these clones probably acting Kenshin's shikigami clones that he couldn't use more than one of because the onmyoudou magic did too much harm to his soul to do something on this scale and his body was needed elsewhere.

"Well then..." Vali said as his aura increased explosively, upon reaching it's peak he instantly released it from his entire body. "GO NOW!"

"Satan Compression Divider!"

The ultimate blast of demonic radiance, silvery white and jet black streams of light were interwoven and all the magic Azi Dahaka and his clones was instantly compressed over and over again and eventually was eliminated, even his clones being blown away leaving only the real one.

"What? !"

"Aah? !"

"That's completely cheating!" Azi Dahaka said, absolutely astounded. His confidence, which he was so full of earlier starting to fade.

"Right...and you using a hundred clones to attack me isn't cheating at all." Vali scoffed with a smirk. He wasn't saying this to complain, but to mock as he raised his hand, a white light emitting from both it and his wyverns. Azi Dahaka tried to flee, but the Twelve wyverns surrounded him.

"Half Dimension!"

"G-Grrhh!" Azi Dahaka growled as he was caught in the technique that caused all matter in it's target zone to be halved. "Shit! Even the small ones can use that? !"

"That's right...now die!" Vali shouted blasting Azi Dahaka with his demonic energy.

"No thanks!" Azi Dahaka shouted as he vanished using teleportation magic, but, he didn't escape unscathed as he reappeared missed not only his left wing, but his left head. The wyverns rejoined Vali, recreating his twelve devil wings, which he spread proudly as a jet black and silvery white aura exploded from him.

"Dawn of the Morning Star." Azi Dahaka spoke in awe. "The name that embodies Lucifer." Azi Dahaka said. Indeed he had surpassed Satan class, he'd become a Heavenly Dragon class begin. Even surpassing the original Lucifer. However, Azi Dahaka was not someone who would bow down to someone like Rizevim, yet he respected Vali. He recognized him as someone who was stronger than Rizevim. They were both enjoying the thrill of battle,.

At the same time, a crowd of mass produced Evil Dragons and fake Sekiryuutei were flying in, apparently having escaped his teams, Tertium's and Ricardo's assault. Azi Dahaka growled in annoyance.

"Don't interfere with my battle! !" He roared. "Tch, not even these things can understand the essence of a fight. I never thought that Grendel would interfere with us again."

"Indeed...allow me to help clear the riffraff before we continue." Vali said sending his wyverns outward, before they began to ooze out a dangerous aura.

"Venom! !"

Divine Dividing rang out dreadfully as a dreadful curse, the mass produced Evil Dragons writhed about in mid air, in extreme pain before coughing up large mouthfuls of blood as they fell to the ground.

"All of those Evil Dragons are experiencing immense pain...ho, then I'm I to assume that this is...!" Azi Dahaka said.

"Indeed. This is what you wanted to see, Albion Gwiber's poison. This is Reduce." Vali said.

"My poison is able to reduce all existences aside from inorganic objects. As long as it's a living being, it's blood, bones, organs and soul will be cut down bit by bit, so even for extraordinary beings, everything in their bodies can be reduced. The two single existences this poison never worked on...are the Welsh Dragon Sekiryuutei Y Ddraig Goch and Ragnarok Kuroshi, the Dragon of the Elements. I had tried to use it on Ragnarok in a rare battle we had by ourselves, but he purged my poison with an ability he called 'Inferno Pulse.'" Albion said. "I only used it on him because he was getting in my way of battling Ddraig, but when he cast off Reduce...he earned my respect."

Vali remembered Albion telling him that because of the ability of Reduce, it caused Albion to recluse because no one wanted to get close to him, no one to be his rival and compete with. Even without the use of poison, Albion was an overwhelmingly powerful existence, and there weren't many opponents that could stand equally against him. However, after meeting Ddraig and later Ragnarok. His thoughts had changed.

"To think, there were actually such powerful dragons out there...I wanted to become stronger with them, as them...to be a brave and fearless dragon alongside them." Albion had said back then.

"So they are why you developed the abilities of Divide and Reflect?" Vali asked him.

"Indeed. Divide was meant to deal with Ddraig, but Reflect was meant for Ragnarok. I couldn't divide nature, but I could instead reflect it in defense and attack Ragnarok. It did also work nicely against Ddraig which was a bonus." Albion said.

"So...wait, you're not going to use it on me?" Azi Dahaka said.

"I told you already. I discarded the damn ability. Ddraig, Ragnarok and I rely on our claws fangs, ambition and aura. Our pure power to fight and enhance each other. Poison is unnecessary to me!" Albion said.

"Indeed. Our current power is enough, or is there something your unsatisfied with about our current power, Azi Dahaka?" Vali said.

"...Heheheheh...hahahahaha!" Azi Dahaka laughed loudly "Alright then come on!" He said as they clashed again.

"Haaa! ! !" Vali roared as his light of Lucifer and Azi Dahaka's magic tore into the mountains which suffered from immense damage. Flames from Azi Dahaka impacted Vali's armor making part of it break apart. Not to be outdone he fired Lucifer's energy toward Azi Dahaka's right head, before closing the distance, charging not only his devil mana, but the power of the elements he had stolen from Kenshin so long ago and let loose a barrage of punches at Azi Dahaka's abdomen who began spitting out volumes of blood before kicking Vali away.

"Hrm!"

"Half Dimension!"

Vali's halving field took effect, with all of his wyvern fairies and his Lucifer energy supplementing it. Azi Dahaka was undeterred, instead of using defensive magic, he used attack attribute magic to counter. His entire body covered in blood, He didn't stop attacking, instead also using healing magic to regenerate his heads. However, the power to regenerate body parts carried a great risk. Vali didn't know how Kenshin did it so often. Then again Kenshin's body was a lot smaller than that of one like Azi Dahaka. Still Vali poured on the pain with the power of Lucifer, although Vali could feel his stamina slowly depleting. Still he pressed on, using the full force of the mana of his Lucifer bloodline.

"G-Gaaahh!" Azi Dahaka gasped out, feeling his mana reserves which were said to be limitless, rapidly draining under the effect of Vali's Half Dimension which not only was dividing his body, but his mana as well. The more his body was harmed, the more mana he had to expend to heal himself. This was Vali's fight to win and Azi Dahaka knew it.

When the light finally died down, Azi Dahaka didn't even have enough mana to use healing magic. Only his middle head remained and his wings were full of holes. He knelt down on one knee panting heavily, same as Vali. In the latter's case his armor had stopped repairing itself.

"Haaa...haa...It's not over yet!" Azi Dahaka lunged toward Vali with rapid speed to bite Vali. Biting into Vali who was to exhausted to avoid. Azi Dahaka's fangs tore through what was left of his armor.

"So...this is where it ends...huh?" Vali thought.

Suddenly the images of his mother, his younger siblings appeared in his mind. "No, I can't lose here, I swore I'd protect them!"

(swiiiissshhh!)

"Arrrggghhh!" Azi Dahaka cried out as a spear of earth stabbed into his middle head's right eye, Azi Dahaka looked up seeing Tertium staring down at him. .

(boom!)

"Haaaaa!" Ricardo crashed against Azi Dahaka's middle head, lifting up against his jowels.

"What are you doing? ! I don-"

"Maybe you don't, but maybe we just wanted to step in anyway, now come on!" Ricardo said.

"Fine, whatever!" Vali said increasing his own mana. "Just keep his mouth open!" Vali said as the muzzle of a cannon that was ready to fire. Vali directed his aura toward the muzzle of the cannon as he clenched Azi Dahaka's head tightly as a vast amount of aura had been gathered. "You, get out of here, I've got this from here!"

"Right!" Ricardo said diving away.

"This is the end, Azi Dahaka." Vali said before a loud voice boomed out.

"Satan Lucifer Smasher! ! ! !"

A massive bombardment of silvery white and jet black aura was fired out from the muzzle on his abdomen. When it was done...only Azi Dahaka's final remaining head was left. Vali walked up to it, Even in the face of death however, Azi Dahaka showed smiled irreverently. "Hahahaha...That was a wonderful fight. I'm extremely persistent, like all Evil Dragons..." Azi Dahaka said as his head began to crumble.

Ricardo landed next to Vali. "Man, this guy's as persistent as Rakan?"

"Rakan?" Azi Dahaka asked.

"A friend, kind of a broken cheat code of a fighter if I'm being honest. When you get to the afterlife, look him up." Ricardo said.

"Well, if I can find the guy that will be a good way to idle away the time until I'm resurrected again, in about two or three thousand years...I'll definitely revive and find you for a fight." Azi Dahaka said. "One day, let's fight once more, Lucifer." With this, Azi Dahaka's head crumbled away.

"Will he really come back?" Ricardo asked.

"If even a single piece of his soul remains in this world, he can exist both here and in the Impure World." Vali said. "So I look forward to seeing you again,my worthy opponent, Azi Dahaka.

(break)

Vali returned to the battlefield where his friends were fighting. "Damn." Ricardo whistled. "You guys do good work. Reminds me of the Ala Rubra days."

"Indeed, what isn't covered in black blades has been frozen solid. Also, that Trihexa there is still intact, but it's not moving. The remaining Evil Dragons and fake Sekiryuutei were slowly being whittled down, but something occurred to Vali.

"The Evil Dragons and fake Sekiryuutei aren't replenishing." Vali said.

"Wait are you certain about that?" Ricardo asked.

"He's right, we'd be facing another respawn right now." Tertium said crossing his arms.

"Yeah, I received a report in from Hikari which came from Kenshin. Not only did they paralyze Trihexa's main body, Gasper and Valerie secured the last Holy Grail. Now it's just a matter of defeating those that are left and sealing Trihexa away which all locations are working on now that all of it's bodies are paralyzed."

"Ah, Azazel, I see you joined the battlefield while I was gone." Vali said.

"Yeah, Azi Dahaka taken care of?" Azazel asked.

"Yeah, but he'll be back, in about two to three thousand years from now, but he'll be back." Vali said.

"Meh, that's plenty of time to prepare." Azazel said. "I haven't heard anything, but Issei's working on Apophis...meanwhile Kenshin's out of his Demigod State for now, but ready to go back into it at a moment's notice as he observes what he believes is the main body of Trihexa which holds it's core." Azazel said. "All that said. I see you've underwent a transformation on the level of Issei's and Kenshin's. Amazing, it seems even more like Lucifer than Rizevim."

"..." Vali wondered why he felt embarrassed when Azazel said 'like Lucifer' but he shook his head. "Azi Dahaka said the same thing."

"Hahahaahaah!" Azazel laughed. "Oh man I would love to see the look on Rizevim's face!" Azazel laughed.

Bikou came flying in on his cloud. "Yo Vali, former Governor! Oh shit you powered up again Vali! Nice!" Bikou said giving a thumbs up while laughing. They also looked down seeing the Vali Team and Slash Dog teams gathered together. They both came over to happily greet Vali. Kuroka smiled fearlessly, coming over to ask.

"My my, did you use your full power to fight-nya?" Kuroka asked.

"Yeah, but Trihexa will eventually start moving again, right? It doesn't seem like it's over with just that." Vali said.

Azazel nodded. "If everything ended just like this, then the Imperial Beast of the Apocalypse, the Primordial of Corruption would really be too kind. It doesn't matter. I'll think of a countermeasure when the time comes, for now just wipe out all of the Evil Dragons and fake Sekiryuutei around us, can you guys do it?"

"Yeah!" Everyone but Vali said. He noticed Azazel's attitude was concerning. He only felt...absolute determination coming from him. "..." Vali spoke to Albion. "Can you open communications with Kenshin?"

"Right."

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened as he felt a ping in his mind. "Who is this?"

"It's me Kenshin." Vali said.

"Oh Vali. I'm to take it that Azi Dahaka's dead? Nice." Kenshin thought.

"Yeah Yeah...just listen. Azazel's on the Europe battlefield with me." Vali said.

"Yeah? He's good backup to have while you clean up over there. We're doing fine over here. Our Trihexa's tried to move a few times, but nothing much else." Kenshin thought.

"I know that Kenshin, but Azazel said something unnerving just before the battle resumed. Even his attitude is unnerving." Vali said.

"..." Kenshin's expression darkened a bit alerting Rossweisse and Tamamo, but he told them he was OK, saying he was speaking with someone. "I'm listening."

"It's just...he said he would come up with a plan on the fly if Trihexa broke free from it's paralysis." Vali said.

"Yeah? That's what I do, like all the time." Kenshin thought.

"Kenshin, Azazel's not like you, at all! In the ten years I've known him I've never known him to go into a situation without a plan, though I could never tell what that plan was. I'm just saying...I think he's up to something."

"I see..." Kenshin thought as he cut communications. "Please don't let me be right about this, let this Revelation bullshit end here."
