Day 1

I'm Smashing That Hourglass

Sister Tribe

(Karen, Kohaku, Kyon's Sister, Marie, Misty, Sakuya)

"Yahoo! We won!" Sakuya exclaims.

The six girls wade on the beach, getting clean from the muddy challenge.

"We're going to win so much this season!" Kyon's Sister says. "Just wait till those other tribes see us in a real challenge!"

"So, tell us your story, everyone," Misty says. "I want to get to know all of you."

"I'm Kohaku," Kohaku says. "I come from the Kingdom of Science, where Senku looks to revive all of humanity from being petrified. You know, kind of like that big stone creature up there on this island?"

"Yeah, what the heck is that?" Kyon's Sister says.

"It has been here since we have been here," Karen says. "We ourselves aren't sure what it is supposed to represent."

"Maybe bad nineties fanfiction," Misty remarks, and everyone has a laugh.

"Anyway, my big sister is Ruri, and she pushed me to try out for this show," Kohaku says. "So here I am!"

"Awesome," Misty says.

"Well, how about you?" Kyon's Sister asks Misty.

"I'm Misty," Misty replies. "I am the Cerulean City gym leader, or co-leader, I should say, because my sisters Daisy, Lily, and Violet also kind of sort of own the gym. I suppose I tolerate them."

Everyone laughs at Misty's statement.

"Everybody's laughing at my jokes, and everyone seems to like me," Misty says. "I don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing. One thing I learned from Crazy Game Changers is that tying myself to an alliance is a bad idea. However, I feel like Kohaku and I are on the same wavelength. We ought to get along quite well out here."

"How about you?" Kohaku says, turning to Kyon's Sister.

"Hi!" Kyon's Sister says. "I'm Kyon's Sister! My favorite thing is my cat Shamisen, and I like going on adventures with my brother and with Haruhi Suzumiya! It's a whole lot of fun!"

"But what is your name?" Karen asks.

"Oh, just call me 'Little Sister,'" Kyon's Sister replies.

"Okay…" Sakuya says.

"I'm not sure why this girl doesn't want to reveal her name…" Sakuya says. "Could it be that she values her brother that much, as I value my Dear Brother? I don't know. She's very mysterious."

"Tell us about yourself, Sakuya," Kohaku says.

"I am destined to be with Dear Brother," Sakuya replies. "The two of us will be together forever. And I'm playing this game for him… because if I win, I will win over his heart."

"Karen also loves her Big Brother," Karen says. "Karen plays the piano for him. Karen hopes to be the Sole Survivor so she can spend more time with him."

Misty and Kohaku look at each other, stunned.

"What the heck is going on with these girls?" Misty says. "Are they really… in love with her brother? What is this, bro-con? All I know is that I don't want to be allied with them. Kohaku and I have really hit it off, but Sakuya, Karen… yeah, they're not going to be someone I want to work with."

Finally, Marie speaks up.

"Hello, everyone," she says with a cough. "I'm Marie, and I have a very weak constitution. But Brother Mine comes to visit me in the sanitorium, and that always cheers me up."

"Nice to meet you, Marie," Kohaku says.

"Now, let's go back to camp and boil those vegetables!" Kyon's Sister exclaims.

"Sure thing, Little Sister!" Karen says.

"My tribe is in a good position starting off," Karen says. "My Big Brother would be proud of how well we did in the first challenge. Now it's all about keeping up that momentum. Karen would be so sad if she disappointed Big Brother."

Princess Tribe

(Alexia, Komachi, Mamoru, Rinrin, Sasami, Yotsuba)

The Princess Tribe too is cleaning themselves off in the water off the beach, as they talk to each other.

"Sasami, you say you've played this game before?" Komachi asks.

"That's right!" Sasami replies. "And I came so close to winning. That was way back in the first season, when I finished in fourth place. I know I can do better!"

"Oh, I'd say that was impressive enough!" Mamoru says.

"You're good at sports, right, Mamoru?" Komachi asks.

"That's right, me and my Big Bro like to play sports all the time!" Mamoru says. "Okay, I lied, I play the sports and he watches. But it's so much fun!"

"Hmmmph," Alexia says. "That isn't so impressive to me."

"Why not?" Mamoru asks sadly.

"If you're going to fight, you've got to spar with someone," Alexia replies. "You can't just go out there on your own and think you're getting any better. That goes for sports, fighting, anything."

"These girls in my tribe are so stupid," Alexia says. "I must have gotten stuck with the goof troop or something. Three of them are obsessed with their older brother, and of those, there's one especially weird one."

That one is Yotsuba, who is using her magnifying glass to look underwater for fish.

"Ah, fish!" Yotsuba says. "The great detective Yotsuba has found us a fish! Check it out!"

"You moron," Alexia replies. "You didn't catch the fish, you just saw it underwater. That's not going to help us any."

"Look, it swam away," Rinrin says.

"Blimey!" Yotsuba says. "Yotsuba will remain on the hunt!"

As she goes around looking with her magnifying glass, the other girls introduce themselves further.

"My Bro is going to fund my next project of Mecha Rinrin!" Rinrin says. "I'm going to build a robotic version of myself in order to do my tasks for me!"

"Sounds super expensive," Alexia replies. "I'm sure money just grows on trees in your brother's backyard."

"You really think so?" Rinrin says sadly.

"Bro's going to be so proud of me after this game!" Rinrin says. "I'm going to prove to him that through science and mechanics, I can win this game and I'm worthy of receiving his funding!"

"So, Alexia, is it?" Komachi says.

"That's Princess Alexia to you," Alexia replies.

"Oh, okay, Princess," Komachi says. "What do you do as your royal duties?"

"I go to school, and I practice fencing," Alexia says. "I want to be as good as my sister."

"Your sister?"

"That's right, don't you remember why you got on this show?" Alexia replies. "My big sister Iris is brilliant with the sword. I'm just trying to improve. Whether it'd be through training with him or not."

"Him?"

"Some boy I know named Cid. I don't like him that much, but he has helped me out a lot."

"I see."

"Alexia comes off to me as extremely cold," Komachi says. "Not the type of person I want to work with. I think it's going to be a pretty easy vote to get her out first, because no one seems to like her."

The Princess tribe comes back to camp to find their pot, machete, and flint there.

"Go get supplies," Alexia says. "They should have some bamboo cut down already."

"Yotsuba is on the case!" Yotsuba says, looking through her magnifying glass. "Off we go to find it!"

Yotsuba heads out on her own, then Alexia sighs and turns to the other girls.

"You four, you go make sure she's doing what she's supposed to be doing," Alexia says.

"What about you?" Komachi asks.

"I'm going to make sure you're doing what you're supposed to be doing in making sure Yotsuba's doing what she's supposed to be doing," Alexia replies.

"Makes sense!" Rinrin exclaims, and the girls head out to find some bamboo.

Meanwhile, Yotsuba has gotten sidetracked, looking at every little tree branch with her magnifying glass. She keeps on looking around, when she stumbles upon a strange-looking rock.

"Check it out!" she exclaims. "The great detective Yotsuba has found something!"

She turns over the rock and finds a package. She then reads what is on the paper attached to it.

"Beware Advantage?" she says. "Might as well find out what it is!"

She then opens it up and reads the note.

"This is an immunity idol," she reads. "However, it is encased in wax. In order for you to use it, you must melt the wax off it. Once the wax is gone, you will be able to use the immunity idol. However, until the wax is gone, you may not vote at any Tribal Council."

She shakes her head and punches the ground.

"Blimey!" Yotsuba exclaims. "Yotsuba thought she had found a big advantage, and she supposes that it is. But now she must burn the wax off without anyone noticing. This is a mystery the great detective Yotsuba must figure out an answer to!"

Imouto Tribe

(Hinako, Kaho, Karin, Kirino, Liechtenstein, Shirayuki)

Upon arriving to camp, the Imouto tribe finds a note waiting for them.

"What does it say?" Liechtenstein asks.

"I'll read it," Karin says.

"You can still get your flint, machete, and pot," she reads. "But in order to do so, you must complete a challenge. Sweat – where you complete a physical task, or Savvy – where you solve a difficult puzzle. The choice is yours – Sweat, Savvy, or none."

"Wow!" Kaho says.

"What do we want?" Shirayuki asks.

Kirino looks over at Karin. "You look pretty strong," Kirino says. "You and I would be able to complete any physical task."

"Agreed," Karin replies. "We'll take on Sweat. You four go get yourselves cleaned off."

The other four girls go away, as Kirino opens up the next note.

"You must fill two large urns completely with water in a four-hour period," she reads. "To do so, you must take two small buckets from the beach and to the urns. This task will take several hours."

Kirino looks over at Karin. "Let's go," she says.

She takes the hourglass provided and turns it over. The two then go and grab the buckets and head off to the beach. When they arrive there, they notice that the buckets are full of holes.

"Crap!" Kirino says. "We go to get these buckets, and then we find out that they're defective. That's the last thing we need right now. We're not going to make it in time!"

While the two of them complete the task, the other girls talk on the beach.

"Hi, I'm Liechtenstein," Liechtenstein says. "You look to be the same age as me."

She points over at Hinako.

"That's right!" Hinako replies. "Bro-bro allowed me to play this game once before, but Hina got sad when he was away for a long time. You say you played before too?"

"Yes," Liechtenstein says. "I was there with my big brother Switzerland. He and I lasted a long time in the game."

"I don't think this season will be as easy as the one I was on," Liechtenstein says. "There, I made it a long way because no one could see me since I'm so small. Out here, though, I'm going to have to do a lot more to make sure no one notices me. I may have to go against Switzerland's wishes and take a side."

"I'm here to cheer on my Brother!" Kaho says. "Kaho may be clumsy, but Kaho's going to make him proud!"

"How will you cheer for him while he is away?" Liechtenstein asks.

"Brother is always watching!" Kaho says.

"Kaho knows that Brother sees everything that I do," Kaho says. "He is super-smart and knows exactly what is going on! Kaho is going to show Brother that even though she's clumsy, she can do her best!"

"Hime really hopes those two can win this challenge so we get fire and our pot!" Shirayuki says.

"I know," Liechtenstein says.

"Hime will cook great meals!" Shirayuki continues. "Hime is the best cook around!"

"Hime is going to make the most amazing food out here," Shirayuki says. "Hime just needs the pot and fire in order to do so. For that, it's up to the other two girls."

But after an hour of working, Kirino and Karin are making little progress.

"We're never going to finish this in time," Kirino says. "I'm ready to give up."

"Yeah, it sucks," Karin says. "But I think we need to keep pushing. Just go a little bit longer and then see how we feel."

"We already feel horrible!" Kirino exclaims. "We just need to wash off and go relax. This is ridiculous. And what do we get out of it? We don't have any food to cook in our pot anyway!"

"I don't know," Karin says. "Are you sure you want to quit?"

"I'm smashing that hourglass. I don't care what consequences there are."

Kirino picks up the giant hourglass and throws it, and it smashes into thousands of pieces.

"Yeah, I gave up on the Sweat challenge," Kirino says. "But it wasn't worth it. Why waste all kinds of time trying to do a task that's next to impossible? I'm going to go wash off in the water and go relax."

"I don't know if Kirino made the right move by smashing that hourglass," Karin says. "She let her temper get to her head. If she keeps this up, she's going to be tough to align with. Still, I like her and think that she and I can work together in this game."

Hime Tribe

(Aria, Chikage, Haruka, Kurome, Sayu, Tsukasa)

The girls arrive at their beach with the same choice as the Imouto tribe.

"Sweat or Savvy," Sayu says. "Which one do we want to try?"

"Let's do Savvy," Tsukasa says. "I've got the brain power to figure this one out. Who wants to join me?"

She looks around and sees everyone staring at her in silence.

"Well?"

Chikage finally speaks up. "I will. My tarot cards will lead us to the answer."

"Uh… I'm not sure that's gonna help," Tsukasa replies.

"Just let her do it," Kurome says.

"Okay."

The other four girls run off, while Tsukasa stands there with Chikage.

"Let's open this up and figure out what we must do," Tsukasa says.

She opens up the package and reads what is on it.

"You must figure out the six-digit combination for this lock," she reads. "Before you is a puzzle that will help you find your way to the answer."

Tsukasa then looks at the puzzle.

"Let's see, it's a word search puzzle, and there are numbers on it…" she says. "Here is the word 'twenty' and here is the word 'ten'…"

"I will divine our way to the answer," Chikage says, pulling out a tarot card. "Let the answer come to us."

Tsukasa looks over at Chikage in frustration, then goes back to trying to figure out the puzzle. Meanwhile, the other girls talk to each other on the beach.

"My big brother Light is really smart," Sayu tells them. "He was a really good player in this game. It's too bad he didn't win."

"I… see…" Aria says. "So… he… is… like… Mon Frère."

"Beloved Brother is brilliant," Haruka says through a thick German accent. "He is the smartest person around."

"I will defend my Beloved Brother to the death," Haruka says. "I was so sad before I was able to see him, but now that we are together, I hope to stay with him forever."

"I don't have a big brother," Kurome jumps in. "Only a big sister."

"Ooh, and what's she like?" Sayu asks.

"I fight against her," Kurome says. "Akame and I are not very close, we are actually part of opposing groups. So, I don't have much good to say about her."

"My sister and I are assassins, and we work against each other," Kurome says. "I'm not like these other girls who fawn over their big brother. I don't think I'm going to be able to get along with them."

As they talk, Tsukasa desperately tries the combination lock, but she cannot figure it out.

"What the heck is going on out here?" she says.

"I shall find out," Chikage says, and she drops a tarot card in the sand.

"You moron," Tsukasa says. "I'm going to take that card and tear it to pieces!"

Tsukasa reaches down to get the card, when she feels something metal in the sand. She then begins digging, and she pulls up a small piece of metal with a number on top.

"291064," she says.

She rushes over and puts in the number on the combination lock. She then pulls, and the lock opens.

"We did it!" she exclaims.

"I knew we would," Chikage says. "It is the will of Brother Darling."

"Not so sure about that, but here's our machete, pot, and flint, right inside this box!" Tsukasa says. "Let's go tell the others!"

"Chikage's stupidity helped me solve this puzzle today," Tsukasa says. "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, and we sure were lucky today. I don't know, maybe I kind of like Chikage. She and I may be able to work together now that we kind of sort of figured out this puzzle together."

Tsukasa goes running down the beach with the items, while Chikage remains at the table.

"Brother Darling, did you send the answer to us?" Chikage says. "I believe you did. And I believe you will continue to show us the way."

Princess Tribe

(Alexia, Komachi, Mamoru, Rinrin, Sasami, Yotsuba)

"What do you mean, you can't make fire?" Alexia screams.

Mamoru looks up at the annoyed princess as she takes a break from hitting the flint.

"I'm sorry…" Mamoru says. "I'm sure my Big Bro would be able to…"

"Great, what good is flint if we can't make fire with it?" Alexia complains.

Rinrin walks into camp with some bamboo, and Mamoru calls to her.

"Could you help me make fire?" Mamoru asks.

"Sure!" Rinrin says. "I'm good with this kind of stuff."

She starts hitting the flint and gets some sparks, then gets the fire to start.

"See, no sweat!" Rinrin says. "Bro would be proud of me!"

"Amazing…" Mamoru says.

"Rinrin is so skilled," Mamoru says. "She's going to be my ally in this game. The two of us will go a long way, and then we'll be able to brag to Big Bro about how well we did together!"

Alexia simply sighs, as Yotsuba comes into camp.

"Where have you been?" Alexia asks.

"Check it out!" Yotsuba replies. "Yotsuba's got us a couple of coconuts. They ought to fill your belly!"

"Coconuts?" Alexia asks. "You mean it took you that long just to get coconuts?"

"Let's open them up!" Rinrin says, ignoring Alexia's complaints.

Sasami and Komachi come back to camp with a bunch of bamboo, and they start working on the shelter. Yotsuba manages to pull aside Rinrin and Mamoru as they drink from the coconuts.

"What is it, Yotsuba?" Mamoru asks.

"Check it out!" Yotsuba says.

She hands Mamoru her immunity idol encased in wax.

"What is it?" Mamoru asks.

"It's an immunity idol!" Yotsuba replies. "But it needs to be melted down from the wax. Yotsuba was hoping you two could help me with it!"

"Sure thing!" Rinrin says. "What we need to do is build a second fire in the woods somewhere. Then we burn it without the other girls noticing. But you have to promise something…"

"Promise?" Yotsuba asks.

"Promise that you'll use it on one of us if we get in trouble."

"Oh, sure thing!" Yotsuba replies. "Yotsuba looks out for her friends!"

"Awesome!" Mamoru says.

"Yotsuba is more than happy to give out this idol to those who need it," Yotsuba says. "But Yotsuba knows that the ultimate goal is to get that time alone with Brother Dearest, when I can find out all his secrets! So, better be sly with this idol!"

Alexia helps Sasami and Komachi put together the shelter, when she realizes that something isn't right.

"Wait a minute, where did those other creeps go?" she wonders.

"Beats me!" Komachi replies. "Let's just get this shelter complete, then we can worry about them."

"I think they were trying to crack open those coconuts," Sasami says.

"It shouldn't take that long to open up a freaking coconut!" Alexia exclaims.

"Eh, it's okay for now," Komachi says.

"Do you smell something?" Sasami asks.

Komachi looks confused. "I smell our fire burning."

"No, there's more to it," Sasami says. "I smell a fire coming from somewhere else."

Komachi sniffs. "You're right, I do smell something else."

"Go figure out what it is, then come back and tell me," Alexia says.

Komachi and Sasami rush off in the direction of the smoke. They then stumble upon the Minakami sisters toasting Yotsuba's idol.

"What the heck is going on here?" Komachi asks.

"Oh, hi, Komachi!" Rinrin says. "We were just…"

"That looks like an immunity idol on the edge of that stick!" Sasami says. "Where did you find it?"

"It's a long story," Mamoru says. "Yotsuba found it when…"

"Yotsuba found it?" a voice says.

The girls look over to see Alexia standing there.

"So, it was Yotsuba who found that immunity idol," Alexia says.

"Check it out!" Yotsuba says. "That's Yotsuba's idol! It's been melted from the wax, and now Yotsuba has her vote back!"

"Maybe, but don't expect to be around too many votes," Alexia replies. "You're going to be a huge target."

"I can't believe Yotsuba would be so brazen to go and make a fire in the woods and give away that she had an immunity idol," Alexia says. "She's going to be an easy vote. Maybe I should throw our first challenge in order to get her out faster."

"Yotsuba has her immunity idol and her vote!" Yotsuba says. "But perhaps Yotsuba is now in danger of being voted out… she'll have to check out which way she can survive."

Sister Tribe

(Karen, Kohaku, Kyon's Sister, Marie, Misty, Sakuya)

"That's it! Keep working at it!" Misty shouts.

Kohaku and Sakuya work together on getting the fire started with their flint. They begin to get some sparks, then the fire begins to take shape, and they begin putting more wood on it.

"We got it!" Kohaku exclaims.

"Awesome!" Sakuya says, giving Kohaku a high five.

"We are kicking butt at this game so far!" Kohaku says. "We are great at challenges, we are great at making our shelter and making fire, and we're even great at forming alliances. I'm allied with Misty, and the two of us have something going with Little Sister."

As the players are sitting down at the fire, Kyon's Sister comes up with a challenge for Misty.

"How about we name as many songs as we can from our own anime?" Kyon's Sister says.

"Sounds good with me!" Misty replies, while the other girls gather around.

"Let's see… Bouken Desho Desho," Kyon's Sister says.

"Catch Me if You Can," Misty says.

"Hare Hare Yukai."

"My Best Friends."

"God knows…"

"Together Forever."

"Lost my music."

"2BA Master."

"Super Driver."

"Double Trouble."

"Tomare!"

"Everything Changes."

Kyon's Sister sits there, looking stunned. "You win!" she tells Misty.

"Oh, come on now," Misty says. "I was just getting to the good stuff! You know, like What Kind of Pokémon Are You…"

"Misty and I get along great!" Kyon's Sister says. "We are hoping that we can make it a long way in this game! I think we'll be able to work together along with Kohaku and make for a great alliance!"

Hime Tribe

(Aria, Chikage, Haruka, Kurome, Sayu, Tsukasa)

"We got fire!"

Tsukasa raises her arms in celebration, then gives high fives to Sayu and Haruka. "We did it!"

"That's great," Kurome says. "But we don't have any food to cook on it."

"That's because this is a NEW ERA of Survivor," Sayu says. "We will have to earn it."

"I… see…" Aria says.

"I don't exactly like this NEW ERA of Survivor, but there's no other way around it," Sayu says. "Light didn't have it this hard when he was on the show."

Chikage throws a tarot card and starts meditating, while Aria walks very slowly around the fire.

"I… am… glad… we… got… fire…" Aria says.

Tsukasa pulls Kurome aside to talk.

"You and I seem to be the only sane ones on this tribe," she says. "These sisters seem like they're crazy."

"You're telling me," Kurome replies. "We need to stick together."

"I'll get Sayu with us too," Tsukasa says. "Then we need to pick the most sane sister of the three."

"I'd say Haruka," Kurome says.

"I think you're right," Tsukasa says.

"This tribe is nuts," Tsukasa says. "Chikage is over there divining, Aria is moving in slow motion, and Sayu looks oblivious to the world outside. But I think Kurome and myself can figure out a way through this madness and survive this tribe portion of the game."

Imouto Tribe

(Hinako, Kaho, Karin, Kirino, Liechtenstein, Shirayuki)

The girls are frustrated since Kirino and Karin did not win them their pot or machete. Instead, they sit around, not doing much of anything.

"Someone's got to take the lead around here," Liechtenstein whispers over to Kaho.

"Kaho knows," Kaho replies. "But Kaho doesn't know who."

"Hime wishes she had that pot right now," Shirayuki says. "Hime could make some good food with it."

"Silly, we didn't get any food anyway," Kirino says. "Don't be ridiculous."

"Yeah, not even any rice," Karin says. "Man, this sucks."

"I'm ready to quit this game already," Karin says. "But I know that I can't go home earlier than Ichigo. That would be an utter embarrassment. So, I'm going to stick it out."

Hinako runs over to treemail, where she finds a piece of paper.

"Hina found a note! Hina found a note!" Hinako says excitedly, running back to the other players.

"Great, what does it say?" Kirino asks.

"I'll read it," Karin says, snatching it off Hinako.

"You are in a lot of trouble

Because you will be voting double

Two of you will end your race

And two more will take your place."

"Wow, what a dreadful poem," Kirino says.

"What does it mean?" Liechtenstein asks.

"Sounds to me like it's going to be a double vote," Karin says. "Most likely two tribes having to vote."

"But what about two more taking our place?" Shirayuki wonders.

"That, I don't know," Karin says.

"Maybe there's some sort of Edge of Extinction twist we don't know about," Kirino says. "Never say never when it comes to Survivor. Something crazy could happen all the time."

Kaho goes to drink from her canteen, when she slips and spills it all over the beach. Kirino goes over to help her.

"Here, I'll take this and fill it up for you," Kirino says. "Anyone else need a refill?"

"I could!" Liechtenstein exclaims.

"Great," Kirino says. "Karin, you come with me and fill these up for them."

"But-" Karin begins to say, before seeing Kirino nod slightly at her. She nods back.

"I'm coming!" she says, racing out with Kirino into the woods to reach the water well.

Once the two are out of sight of anybody else, Kirino drops the two canteens on the ground. "Come on, we're going idol hunting," she says. "You and me. If I find it, I'll share it with you. If you find it, you'll share it with me, right?"

"Of course!" Karin says.

"Let's go!"

The two of them go off into the woods searching for the idol. As they spend more and more time looking, Kaho begins to get thirsty.

"Kaho is thirsty, and Kaho doesn't have her canteen," Kaho says.

"I'm sure Kirino and Karin are filling it up now," Liechtenstein says.

"They're taking too long," Shirayuki says. "Hime thinks they're up to no good."

"Huh?" Hinako wonders.

"Hime thinks they're looking for an advantage," Shirayuki says.

"Oh!" Hinako says. "I remember those on my season!"

"On Hina's season, there was a convenience store for advantages," Hinako says. "Maybe there are advantages hidden somewhere off in the woods!"

As the others get suspicious, Karin and Kirino keep on looking for the idol. As they go, Karin stubs her toe on a rock.

"Ouch," she says. "We'd better get back to the others."

"Wait a minute!" Kirino says.

She lifts up the rock, and she sees a package with the word "Beware" on it.

"Oh, my, it's a Beware Advantage!" Kirino says. "I'm opening it up, I don't care what the consequences are."

She opens up the package.

"This is an immunity idol," she reads. "However, it is encased in wax. In order for you to use it, you must melt the wax off it. Once the wax is gone, you will be able to use the immunity idol. However, until the wax is gone, you may not vote at any Tribal Council."

"Oh, wow!" Karin says.

"Crap!" Kirino exclaims. "We don't have fire. So there's no way of melting this idol."

"Maybe you could melt it at Tribal Council?" Karin says.

"But then everyone will know I have it!" Kirino replies. "I don't know what to do. Without my vote, I'm in big trouble!"

"I really took a risk today opening up that Beware Advantage," Kirino says. "And now I've lost my vote, at least until I can burn off the wax from this idol. This is a bad position to be in. Best case scenario, I melt the idol, then am forced to use it on myself at my very first Tribal Council. That's no way to use an idol."

Immunity Challenge

"Come on in, girls!"

The four tribes march into the immunity challenge area.

"You girls ready to get to today's challenge?"

"Of course we are!" Misty exclaims.

Jet pulls out a couple of statues, one of Alluka from Hunter x Hunter, and one of Nezuko from Demon Slayer.

"These are the immunity idols," Jet says. "If your tribe has one of them, you are safe. You cannot be voted out. You don't have to come to Tribal Council. But if you don't win one, not only are you going to Tribal Council, but…"

Jet turns around, and everyone gasps in surprise.

"Come on in, girls!"

Two girls come out of the woods and join Jet upon the mat.

"Let me introduce you to these two sisters," Jet says. "One of them is Ui Hirasawa, sister of Yui Hirasawa of K-On, who once played this game. The other is Ruby Hoshino, technically the little sister of Aquamarine Hoshino from Oshi no Ko. These two players are going to replace… you."

Everyone gasps again.

"Let me explain," Jet says. "Two tribes will be immune, while two tribes will go to Tribal Council. The two tribes who vote someone out will have a new member join them tomorrow morning, one of these two sisters. They will then be part of the game just the same as you are. Immense stakes, I know, and very much worth playing for."

"You better you better you bet!" Kyon's Sister exclaims.

"For today's challenge, you will have one member climb to the top of a staircase, where you'll pour down buckets of water down slides held up by other members of your tribe. The water must go all the way down the slides until they've reached the bucket. Once the bucket is full of water, it will release a bag of puzzle pieces. You must then untie the rope and solve the puzzle. First two tribes to finish, win immunity, safe from tonight's Tribal Councils. Losers, Tribal Council, where we will have two players voted out and two new players enter this game. Also, as a penalty for losing, I will take your flint. Imouto and Hime, you are playing to win yours for the first time. In addition, you are playing for reward. Wanna know what you're playing for?"

"Please say food," Shirayuki says.

Jet unveils a large tarp, with a pot and machete underneath. "First two tribes to finish win a tarp, which is sure to come in handy with the bad weather around here. A bigger tarp for the first-place tribe, a smaller tarp for the second-place tribe. If you haven't won your pot and machete, you will also win those here. Losers, nothing. I know it's worth playing for. I'll give you a moment to strategize, then we'll get it on!"

The tribes talk over their strategy, then get ready for the challenge.

"For immunity! Survivors ready? Go!"

Misty heads up the stairs for the Sister Tribe, while Alexia goes up for the Princess Tribe. Karin runs up for Imouto, and Tsukasa heads to the top for Hime.

"Gotta get those slides in place to get the water down to the bucket!"

Kohaku and Kyon's Sister hold two of the higher slides, while Sakuya and Karen get a lower slide for the Sister Tribe. It's Komachi and Sasami holding a slide for the Princess Tribe, with Mamoru and Rinrin getting one further down for the Princess Tribe. Chikage and Haruka have an upper slide for the Hime Tribe, while Sayu and Tsukasa have a lower one. Finally, the Imouto Tribe, which is doing the worst, has Shirayuki and Kirino holding one slide, and Liechtenstein and Kaho another.

"Oops!" Kaho says, as her hands slip, and she drops the slide.

"Get that back together!" Karin shouts. "Man, you guys are pissing me off!"

The Sister Tribe gets their bucket filled the quickest, and the bag of puzzle pieces is released.

"Start untying those puzzle pieces!" Jet shouts.

Marie starts untying her bag, as the bucket fills up for the Princess Tribe. Yotsuba grabs the bag and starts untying it.

"Imouto, Hime, you've got to pick it up!"

Kaho slips again, and water goes spraying all over Hinako, who is waiting at the bottom.

"I'm sorry, Hinako!" Kaho shouts.

"Hina needs to wear her quack-quack!" Hinako replies.

"Quack-quack?" Kirino says.

"Her inflatable duck tube," Shirayuki says.

Marie gets her bag untied, and she goes to work on the puzzle. Yotsuba gets hers untied right afterward, and she too goes to work on the puzzle.

"Check it out!" Yotsuba says. "I know what this puzzle does!"

Yotsuba starts figuring out the puzzle faster than Marie. Meanwhile, the Hime Tribe finally finishes filling up their bucket.

"Get to work on untying those puzzle pieces!" Jet shouts.

But Aria takes a very slow time untying the bag.

"Hurry up and untie it already!" Tsukasa shouts.

"I… will… try… to… untie… it," Aria says, very slowly.

"Aria's losing time for the Hime!" Jet shouts. "And the Imouto Tribe can't get their slides in order to fill up their bucket!"

Yotsuba slams in a couple of puzzle pieces, then goes over to Jet.

"Check it out, Jet!" Yotsuba shouts.

"Yotsuba thinks she has it!" Jet shouts.

"Yotsuba…"

"is…"

"WRONG! This challenge is still underway!"

"Blimey!" Yotsuba says. "Yotsuba will fix this!"

As she does, Marie calls over to Jet.

"Marie thinks she has it!"

"Marie…"

"is…"

"WRONG! This challenge continues!"

As Aria finally unties her puzzle pieces and the Imouto Tribe finally get their bucket filled up, Yotsuba calls out to Jet again.

"Check it out!" she shouts.

"Yotsuba thinks she has it!" Jet shouts.

...

"Yotsuba…"

"is…"

"NOT!"

"WRONG! She is correct! Princess Tribe wins immunity and reward!"

Marie puts in the final puzzle piece for the Sister Tribe, and Jet goes over to look it over.

"Marie…"

"is…"

"RIGHT! And that's it! Sister Tribe wins immunity and reward!"

The Princess and Sister Tribes come running down the stairs in celebration. They meet at the bottom of the stairs in two big group hugs.

"Congratulations," Jet says, handing over the Alluka and Nezuko idols over to Alexia and Misty, respectively. "Your two tribes are safe from Tribal Council tonight. Your reward will be waiting back at camp. Have a nice night."

Komachi gives Sasami a high five, and Kyon's Sister pats Marie on the back as the two winning tribes exit the immunity challenge area.

"As for you, Hime and Imouto Tribes, you have no flint, as I'm keeping yours," Jet says. "Worse yet, one of you's going home tonight from each of your tribes. You've got tonight to figure out who that's gonna be. That sister will be replaced with one of the two sisters standing here. Head on out, I'll see you tonight for Tribal."

The Hime and Imouto Tribes trudge out of the immunity challenge area.

"My spirit's really down," Karin says. "I really don't feel like being out here anymore. This really sucks, not having any food nor a fire to keep warm. I'm ready to go home."

Imouto Tribe

(Hinako, Kaho, Karin, Kirino, Liechtenstein, Shirayuki)

"You're quitting this game?"

"I have no choice. I must quit."

Kirino shakes her head at Karin. "Come on, now," she says. "We can talk this out. I've got this idol that I need to cook. If you quit, you'll make it useless."

"Nonsense!" Karin says. "Here's what we'll do. I'll buy you some time to cook the idol, then once the wax is off, I'll up and quit."

"But you're my closest ally!" Kirino exclaims. "I need you with me. Come on, let's band together and vote somebody out."

"Nope," Karin says. "I'm quitting."

"I've had it with this game," Karin says. "No one told me when I signed up that I wouldn't get any food or fire. This is too much for me. I'm headed on out while I have a chance."

"I can't believe Karin is threatening to quit this game," Kirino says. "Not to mention that she's my closest ally out here. Seriously? This makes zero sense to me. I'm going to do all I can to talk her out of it."

Kaho, Hinako, and Liechtenstein, meanwhile, form a bond together.

"We're all really little," Liechtenstein says. "We are the littlest of the little sisters. Let's vote together."

"Awesome!" Kaho shouts. "We'll be the Little Sister Alliance!"

"Bro-bro would be so proud!" Hinako exclaims.

"I'm trying to get some security in this game, and having three out of six votes is a start," Liechtenstein says. "Eventually, I'll need to do more to earn some respect out here, but for now I think this alliance is good. Now we just have to pull in Shirayuki."

Liechtenstein walks upto Shirayuki, who is pouting about not having any food.

"Shirayuki?" Liechtenstein asks in the cutest manner.

"Yes?" Shirayuki replies.

"Would you mind voting with me tonight?" she asks.

"Not a problem for Hime!" Shirayuki says. "Who do you want to vote out?"

"That, I'm not sure of yet," Liechtenstein says. "I'll come up with a name at Tribal Council."

"Okay," Shirayuki says.

"Hime is a little confused as to why Liechtenstein would ask Hime to vote with her, and then not give her a name," Shirayuki says. "Could it be that she's planning some sort of blindside? Hime hopes not."

Hime Tribe

(Aria, Chikage, Haruka, Kurome, Sayu, Tsukasa)

"Crap, we lost," Kurome says as the Hime Tribe makes it back to camp.

"Worse, it looks like production put out our fire while we were gone," Sayu says.

"Man, this sucks!" Tsukasa shouts, kicking a loose rock angrily. "Production's not kidding around with us this season, are they?"

"We come back to camp, and our fire's out," Tsukasa says. "It was burning all day long. There was no way it'd go out except if the producers came and put it out. They're out to get us. Not to mention, we sucked at the challenge."

Tsukasa pulls aside Kurome and Sayu.

"Aria was pitiful at today's challenge," she says. "She's gotta go."

"No problem for me!" Sayu replies.

"Yeah, she needs to go," Kurome says. "We need a more competent player instead."

"I think this vote is a no-brainer," Kurome says. "We've got to vote out Aria. She's so bad at challenges. Problem is, we're on a tribe of no-brainers, so it's going to be difficult convincing them to vote the way we want."

Chikage is busy with her tarot cards, while Aria and Haruka talk.

"I'm afraid Beloved Brother will be sad if one of us is voted out first," Haruka says.

"Yes… I… see…" Aria says.

"I… don't… think… our… tribe… is… in… a… good… position," Aria says. "We… are… in… trouble… early."

Tribal Council

(Imouto)

The six members of the Imouto Tribe march into Tribal Council.

"Behind each of you is a torch," Jet says. "Put it in the flame and get fire. This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council, because in this game, fire represents your life. Once it is gone, so are you."

The players do so, then put their torches back in their spot.

"All right," Jet says. "Let's talk about today's immunity challenge."

But as he begins to speak, Kirino walks over to the fire. She holds out a stick that she brought with her from her beach. The wax-encased idol is on the end of it, and it begins to melt.

"Hold your thoughts on that challenge," Jet says. "Kaho, what does it say that Kirino is so openly showing that she has an immunity idol?"

"Kaho thinks it's strange," Kaho says. "Kaho thought she'd like to keep it a secret."

"But how can I, when we don't have fire back at camp?" Kirino shouts. "This NEW ERA crap sucks!"

"Don't blame me," Jet says. "I'm only the host and executive producer. Now, how about that challenge? You guys sucked today, and that's putting it mildly."

"We had some difficulties, to be sure," Liechtenstein says. "Nothing we can't smooth out in future challenges."

"But for one of you, there's not going to be another challenge," Jet states. "And that's the reality of Tribal Council."

"Hime understands," Shirayuki says. "But Hime also knows that her tribe is capable of something so much better."

"Karin, a new player is entering this game once you vote someone out, and you won't get to find out who until you're back at camp," Jet says. "Are you worried about what this person could do to your tribe?"

"Why should I?" Karin says. "We suck anyway. Oh, and by the way, I'm quitting."

"You're quitting?" Jet asks.

"Yeah, I have no need to stay in this game," Karin says. "I want everyone to vote for me, so I can quit like Jimmy Johnson. And I expect an over-the-top positive edit too."

"I can't oblige you on the latter," Jet says. "As for the former, Hinako, are you okay with voting for Karin?"

"If it's not Hina, then Hina's okay with it!" Hinako exclaims. "Hina just wants to stay around!"

"How about you, Kaho? You really messed up in the challenge today. It really should be you going home tonight."

"Maybe, but Kaho won't give up!" Kaho replies. "Kaho is going to win this thing for Brother!"

"Liechtenstein, you have someone saying, 'vote me out.' That's gotta make you feel better about your chances."

"I fail to understand why Karin even wants us to vote for her," Liechtenstein says. "Is she pulling something? Is she going to use the idol that Kirino is cooking?"

Kirino sees the final bits of wax drop off the idol, and she pulls it back to her. She tries touching it, but it is way too hot to handle.

"Kirino, you now have an idol," Jet states. "That's the good news. The bad news is, everybody knows about it now. What are you going to do with it?"

"Use it, silly," Kirino says. "I'm not going home with it in my pocket like Hunter, Tiffany, and Venus."

"Tonight, or down the road?"

"Why would I tell you?"

"Fair enough," Jet says. "Remember that each of you has a Shot-in-the-Dark. Roll the die, pull out a scroll, and find out if you're safe from the vote or not. You must give up your vote in order to do so."

"Makes sense," Karin says.

"Well, right now I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen," Jet says. "Kirino holding that idol could be very dangerous, especially if everyone thinks they know who's going home. This could be a bizarre vote, or it could be a simple one."

Liechtenstein mouths the word "split" to Kaho, Hinako, and Shirayuki, while Karin whispers something in Kirino's ear.

"I love live Tribal Councils," Jet says. "Well, it is… time to vote. Hinako, you're up first."

Hinako goes to vote.

"Hina's too young to understand what splitting the vote means!" Hinako says. "So Hina is just writing down Karin's name."

Kaho goes to vote.

Karin goes to vote.

Kirino goes to vote.

"I'm being absolutely screwed by Karin tonight," Kirino says. "And maybe for the whole game."

Liechtenstein goes to vote.

Shirayuki goes to vote.

"Liechtenstein said to split the votes, so Hime is voting Kirino tonight," Shirayuki says. "Hope it works!"

"I'll go tally the votes."

Jet goes over to the voting booth, grabs the voting urn, then returns to the players.

"Before we get to the vote, I want to introduce someone," he says.

Out of the shadows comes Wataru Minakami.

"Bro-bro!" Hinako shouts.

"Brother!" Kaho exclaims.

"Elder Brother!" Shirayuki shouts.

"Wataru is here to snuff out torches this season," Jet says. "He serves as my co-host, although he will not take part in any of the other parts of Tribal Council. Now, let's get to it. If anyone has an advantage or an idol, and you would like to play it, now would be the time to do so."

Karin immediately gets up from her seat and brings over a scroll of paper to Jet. "I used my Shot-in-the-Dark," she says.

"Why?" Liechtenstein asks.

"Because I don't want to accidentally vote someone out if an idol caused votes to be cancelled out," Karin says, returning to her seat. "There's only a one-in-six chance that I'll be safe anyway."

"Karin has played her Shot-in-the-Dark," Jet says. "If this paper says SAFE, then all votes cast against Karin will not count. If it says NOT SAFE, then all votes cast against her WILL count. It says…"

"SAFE."

"What?!" Karin shouts in utter astonishment, while the other girls shake their heads in disgust.

"Karin, no votes against you will count tonight," Jet says. "You will not get your wish of going home."

"Hold on just a second," Kirino says.

She walks over to Jet, holding the wax idol out on a stick over to Jet. The other sisters look forlorn.

"I'm playing this on myself," Kirino says.

"Very well then," Jet says. "This IS a hidden immunity idol. All votes cast against Kirino will not count. Any other advantages to be played?"

The other girls look at each other and shake their heads.

"Okay," Jet states. "Once the votes are read, the decision is final, and the person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."

Jet pulls out the first vote.

"First vote… Karin. Does not count."

"Karin. Does not count."

"Kirino. Does not count."

Kirino fist-pumps, while everyone else is looking on in disgust.

"Kirino. Does not count. One vote left."

"First sister voted out of Survivor: Promised Island…"

"Liechtenstein. That's one, and tonight it is enough. You need to bring Wataru your torch."

Liechtenstein shakes her head, but she gives high fives to every member of her tribe before going over to get her torch. She then brings it over to Wataru.

"It can't be true!" Wataru says, snuffing out her torch. "The tribe has spoken; it's time for you to go."

Liechtenstein heads on out, while Kirino breathes a huge sigh of relief from her seat.

"You know, you guys are really too much. I can't believe this has happened again," Jet says. "I've seen some bizarre Tribal Councils before, but this one really takes the cake. A new member of your tribe will be waiting for you back at camp. Grab your torches, head back to camp, good night."

The players shake their heads as they get up and exit the Tribal Council area with their torches.

"I should have known that those two had something secret up their sleeve," Liechtenstein says. "I guess I'll never know if Karin was pulling my chain or if she really did want to quit. In any case, that's not going to get her jury votes down the stretch. She ruined her game right there. As for me, I'm going to go to the supermarket and buy some cheese with my big brother Switzerland."

Tribal Council

(Hime)

After the Imouto Tribe has headed out, the Hime Tribe comes marching into Tribal Council.

"Behind each of you is a torch," Jet says. "Approach the flame and get fire. This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council because in this game, fire represents your life. Once it is gone, so are you."

The players get their torches lighted, then take their seats.

"All right," Jet says. "Aria, you really took your time at the immunity challenge today."

"Did… I…?" she says. "I… am… not… sure… I… did."

"I think it's obvious to everyone," Tsukasa says.

"Yeah, if you're going to move at a snail's pace, we're going to have a hard time winning challenges," Kurome says.

"I think it's about time I figure out our future," Chikage says, as she pulls out a tarot card.

"Wait, what the hell is going on out here?" Kurome says.

"I think we're a mess," Haruka says.

"That's an understatement," Jet says. "I don't know what you guys are doing, but it's clearly not working. Let's try to talk about life back at camp. I got word that you had made fire without flint, so I had production go and take care of that for me."

"Thanks a lot," Tsukasa says.

"Hey, I have to make sure I insert myself into the game as much as possible, just like Probst," Jet says. "How is life at camp?"

"Well, it's okay if we have fire," Sayu says. "The problem is, we don't have fire anymore, and by the time we got back to camp, we didn't have enough time to make a new one."

"I see," Jet says. "Well, if you want flint, you've got to earn it by winning a challenge."

"Could you please just give us some now?" Tsukasa asks.

"Sorry, no can do!" Jet exclaims. "I like to refrain from giving you rewards in order to torture you."

"You suck," Tsukasa says.

"Look, can we just vote already?" Kurome says.

"Before we do that, I want to introduce someone to you," Jet says.

Out of the shadows walks Wataru Minakami.

"Mon Frère!" Aria says.

"Beloved Brother!" Haruka exclaims.

"Brother Darling," Chikage says.

"Yes, your brother Wataru is here for the sole purpose of snuffing out your torches," Jet states. "Now, is everyone ready to vote? How about you, Tsukasa?"

"Yes," Tsukasa says.

"Aria?"

"Yes…" Aria says.

"Haruka?"

"Yes."

"Chikage?"

"Of course."

"Sayu?"

"Sure!"

"And finally, I don't even have to ask you, Kurome. It is… time to vote. Aria, you're up first."

Aria goes to vote.

"Not… really… sure… why… I… am… voting… for… you…" Aria says.

Chikage goes to vote.

Haruka goes to vote.

Kurome goes to vote.

Sayu goes to vote.

Tsukasa goes to vote.

"I'll go tally the votes," Jet says.

Jet grabs the voting urn, then returns to his usual position.

"If anyone has an advantage or an idol, and you would like to play it, now would be the time to do so."

No one budges.

"Okay. Once the votes are read, the decision is final, and the person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."

"First vote… Kurome."

"Aria."

"Aria."

"Aria. That's three votes Aria, one vote Kurome."

"Second sister voted out of Survivor: Promised Island, Aria. That's four, that's enough. You need to bring Wataru your torch."

Aria very slowly gets up from her seat, takes her torch, and tiptoes over to Wataru.

"Aria, it can't be true!" Wataru says, snuffing out her torch. "The tribe has spoken; it's time for you to go."

"Thank you, Mon Frère," Aria says, as she walks out.

"You will have a new tribe member waiting for you back at camp," Jet states. "How you choose to push forward with them is your choice, but one thing's for sure: whatever is going on here, it's not working. Grab your torches, head back to camp, good night."

The five players take their torches and begin the trek back to camp.

"I… just… can't… move… at… a… fast… speed…" Aria says. "I… think… that… is… why… I…. was… voted… out…"
