At camp Wawanakwa is being zoomed to Chris ready for the next challenge plan in the coliseum and a recap "Last time on Total Drama Island… Things really got cooking between the campers. Grett pushed Leshawna too far in the cook-off challenge and ended up one chilly mama. Owen had a hard day. Lincoln led the Killer eagles to victory and win Gwen's heart. And the Screaming Tigers got to the bottom of their losing streak. It was buh-bye, Cody. Have the Tigers broken the curse? And just how much trust do they have in one another? Multiple spots were seen being set up and turned on. After that cameras popped up from every place imaginable before a directors slateboard was clapped.

The camera view zoomed past camp, passing by Chris and Kristal sitting in a directors chairs while Oliver the intern is delivering coffee, and going all the way up the cliff before diving down all the water into the water where Junior was seen swimming away from the angry Grett as Owen shows up swimming then farts at Grett.

Grett made it up to get air then see Chase and Geoff glaring at eachother on the boat to the surface because Bridgette was seen surfing onto a surfboard. But the two boys cringed as thier boat from Owen's fart then got tipped over by the waves and reach from the surface as an eagle flew down and grabbed the fish from Tom while he's fishing.
DJ was then seen in the woods smiling with a bunch of cute and cuddly animals hanging out with them along with Gabby, Kitty and Jen. That is until the eagle dropped the fish in front of DJ causing the animals to attack him and runaway panicking with Jen, Gabby and Kitty looking at then chase after him as Duncan was laughing till Courtney and Emma are looking at him unamused.
The running DJ then ended up passing by and surprising Lincoln and Gwen as they're painting canvas of surprising Ronnie Anne sitting on top of the left tree branch reading, Surprising Ally playing her video game and surprising Dawn doing meditation from a tree stump with a bunch of birds perched on her arms, Lake was writing a novel then they follow Courtney to go help DJ.

after the events of the cooking challenge everyone sleeping in their cabins. except for two are missing was Lincoln and Gwen in his bed together with clothes all on the floor as Lincoln and Gwen stare at eachother with smiles and cuddle together

Team screaming Tigers huddling up together when Sky begins speaking, "Okay team. We can win this with basic TDI strategy. When Chef's grandma is watching, stop in a position that you can hold. No balancing on one leg."

"Okay team. Strategy time." Priya told his team before Duncan interrupted.

"Alright campers. Time to race." Chris said happily which caused both teams to ready themselves at the starting line.
"Alright Sadie. Let's get it, let's get it." Sadie narrowed her eyes in determination as Granny Hatchet turned away from the campers.
"Ready, set, go!" Chris counted down before pressing on the airhorn
The contestants all began running but somehow Sadie had begun running faster than all of them.

"RAHHHHHHHHH!" Sadie growled before Granny Hatchet began facing the contestants. All of them stopped running… except for Sadie who continued running with her doing her battle cry.

To everyone's surprise, Granny Hatchet narrowed her eyes and quickly threw her balloon at Sadie who immediately got hit in the face and covered in pink paint. Sadie soon fell to the floor, dazed.

But she was too late. Granny Hatchet had seen Katie running and immediately threw the balloon at her, causing Katie to fall on her back, her stomach covered in pink paint.
