Picking up the glass of cold hydromelon juice that they had made from the melons that they had run across during their travel through the desert, Link took a sip. He smiled at the sweet, cooling effect that spread through him. 'Thank you,' he signed to the worker who had placed the juice before him, receiving an indulgent smile from her.

"Drink. I am sure that you and yours are very thirsty after dealing with the desert and the sun," she instructed, patting his head and liking the soft blush on his cheeks. She left them too their food with the Queen and her most trusted of guards.

"So, you came too not only ask me to be one of your four Champions, but to also remind the Yiga clan just why they are connected to us?" Urbosa asked as she sat back, crossing her legs. She smiled when Zelda smiled in response.

"Exactly. Link has been telling us about the dreams of what would happen if we are not able to have the support from all of the people of this world," Zelda said, sighing as she slumped. "He has refused to explain it in detail, not wanting to horrify all of us. The things that we will see and do will make us all fear for the future. I do have to say that I am sorry that we tricked our way into the village but..."

Urbosa huffed at that and waved a hand with a smile. "Shush, little bird. We understand why you did it and as long as your little one here continues to dress like a vai, there will be no issues with my people," she promised. Link looked up and wrinkled his nose.

'Is there anywhere that I can buy something lighter than what I'm wearing now? Something that would be easy to fight in without exposing everything?' he asked, eyeing what the Queen and her guards were wearing. 'You can wear what you like but I am not one to be fond of showing skin. One too many have leered at me just because I am pretty and little. Trained knight or not.'

Zelda made a startled, angry sound at the very thought of someone leering at one of her kingdom's knights as Urbosa sneered at those words. She nodded her head to her guard. "Aveil, my most trusted, will help you find some things to wear so that you may shop in peace. I do hope that you have the rupees," Urbosa stated. Link nodded his head.

'I had hoped to be able to gather a few things for a family friend for her birthday. She is getting on in her years and she likes to collect blankets from various places that she has visited,' Link admitted. He blushed at the soft coo that escaped from Aveil. 'She was the one to help me raise me after my mother, and then later on, my father, passed. But she has never once been able to come visit, no matter how much she wished to. She's never been able to deal with the heat, even with the proper elixirs and clothes.'

Zelda hummed, tapping her finger on her lower lip. "Oh, Lady Marsh, yes?" she asked, Link nodding his head. "Yes, that was always a point of unhappiness that she had when she was working as my father's assistant that she could never go to Goron City, much less visit here. She always did want to see the two cities after all." She smiled. "I know that her daughter is married and is now traveling with her husband though. Right?"

Link nodded his head. 'She is a lot like her mother in the way that she can't truly travel anywhere really hot. So when he has to travel to the bazaar or to Goron City, he travels with his brothers and she will stay home or elsewhere. She is going to be staying home for a few years soon though,' he told them, smiling. 'She is due to give birth to their first child in about six months. They're all very excited and she is going to work on a carpentry and trinket store in Castle town.'

"I'll have to congratulate her on that when I next visit," Urbosa said. "I do remember meeting Lady Marsh once when I visited Hyrule Castle just after I became queen. And again when Zelda here was young. She was quite the gentle woman who could get things done in a timely manner," she continued. She looked up when Aveil arrived with clothes that would allow him to shop without overheating but would still allow him to move about in comfort.

Link smiled at her, and took the clothes, bowing slightly before following after her to where he could change in private.

It wasn't long before he came out in a modified version of the everyday vai clothes that the Gerudo's wore. The loose pants cinched at his ankles, a soft gray shade of the hems and the waist compared to the soft gold of the looser legs. The top that he had changed into was also loose, cinched at the wrist of his sleeves, and also gray around the collar and the hem of the sleeves and shirt.

He had obviously taken a moment to rinse out the dye that had been dulling his hair, the water drying in the warmth of the air.

"Aveil will show you where you can go shopping, Link. There is a jewelry shop nearby that you may like, along with some other shops," Urbosa said, Link bowing and attaching the Master Sword to his back before he left with Aveil. "She's a sweet thing," she hummed, smiling. Zelda nodded, resting her chin on one hand as Impa pouted after Link.

"I'm still not truly sure about..." Impa paused and eyed the way that Zelda was looking at her. "Her. I'm really not. Why is it the Goddess is talking to her and not you, Princess? Why choose her for the Master Sword? I know that she holds the Courage part, but why?"

Zelda hummed, smiling, hearing the confusion in Impa's voice and the way that it was frustrating her. She tapped her fingers on the table that they were sitting at.

"I've said this before, but the dreams that she has been having have horrified even her. From what she has told us and from what I can gather, it took everyone nearly a hundred years when we all fell to find a new balance. But there were still creatures wandering the lands. Making traveling dangerous for all of us. People would disappear during their travels, killed. Blood Moons would bring any creature killed back, creating an endless cycle. I don't want that to happen, Impa. I really don't and Link doesn't want that to happen either."

"If what you've told me is true, I don't think you'd want to live through those memories if that is what her dreams and nightmares are," Urbosa stated. She sighed as the two young women shared a look before looking at her in curiosity. "She is seeing into a timeline that would have been ours but isn't now. Not with the points of time that have already been changed." She sighed as she shoved her thick red hair back over her shoulder. "It is not often that we get to see those who have the ability to touch other worlds. Other times. But we have seen that it is always a heavy burden to carry."

"To know how things will be happening but not be able to do anything about it would end up destroying me," Zelda said softly, shivering.

"Knowing how to change things but flying blind when it comes to everything else beyond what Link is able to tell us is frustrating enough. I am glad that the Goddess was able to figure out how to speak with us beyond speaking with us at the statues that litter the villages. I do hope that she will talk with you more though," Impa sighed. She put her chin on one hand, truly thinking about why she couldn't seem to like him.

True, he was a strong knight, willing to work and train hard, do what he had to do to save those around him. But he was also deceptively delicate looking. There were knights that were younger than him who were bigger, broader. But he still picked up a war hammer and was able to swing it around like he had been born with the weapon in his hand. She knew that his father had taught him how to fight, the few times that he had been home, and when he had passed, other retired warriors had stepped in to continue his training.

It had been what had allowed him to join the Royal Knights fairly quickly.

She could admit to others that it was his skill set that put her off, more used to the other knights of the kingdom that were over eighteen already and just starting out. Sighing, she turned to Urbosa and smiled slightly. "Is there enough water to wash our hair out?" she asked, hearing the distant rumbles of an approaching storm. Urbosa tilted her head and hummed.

"Yes, there will be enough water. Granted, they are not those showers that you all seem to enjoy, but a shallow bath. I do hope you're not adverse to it," she said.

"That will be fine, Urbosa, thank you," Zelda replied as they watched the sky darken, the scent of wet dust and dirt filling the air as various Gerudo's started to run for shelter. They were well used to the desert storms but getting wet was never fun. Link and Aveil walked into the room just as the rain truly let loose, Aveil hauling a wrapped blanket in her arms while Link carried his clothing in packages. "You have some wonderful timing," she teased, Link smiling slightly as he tilted his head, some of the workers for the castle walking around to light lanterns.

"Perfect! Dinner will be soon and then we can all rest for the night," Urbosa decided. "It has been a very busy day for all of us and I believe that we all need some sleep."
