Reading over the letter that he had found that morning on his side table as he brushed his teeth, Link sighed around his toothbrush that stuck out of his mouth, finishing off his morning ablutions with the specialized mouth rinse. There have to be some perks to being a Royal Knight that works for the Princess as her personal guard. No matter how much she bitches and moans about it. Not to mention being the Chosen Warrior, he mused sarcastically, snorted softly as he flexed one hand and spit out the rinse.

Ever since he had the dream the night that he had been sick in the Zora realm, he had felt the Triforce of Courage pulse on the back of his hand. It was as if it was waiting to appear and show the true power of the Goddess' of their history.

If he really focused on the pulsing, he could feel the frustration that leaked over from Zelda that blocked her access from her own power. It was less than it used to be as she came to terms with the fact that she was who she was but it was still there.

He could also feel the darkness that curled and danced around Ganondorf.

Wiping his mouth as he frowned with a towel, he dumped the water down a sink, Link turned to his clothing and pulled on a new outfit, attaching a silver belt at the end along with the gifted semitar that Urbosa had given him the night before. She had told him that if he wanted to hide while still protecting himself, it would be his best weapon in the desert. Clicking his tongue, he braided his hair back using a blue ribbon, eyeing himself in the small mirror before he nodded his head.

He left the guest room and headed down the stairs, finding that Impa was once more dressed as she usually was, her hair back to its normal color. 'Good morning, Impa,'he greeted. Impa smiled slightly in return.

"Good morning, Link," she said. She watched as he walked to where they both could hear Zelda and Urbosa, who were talking about dealing with Vah Noboris. He settled down in his chair, smiling when a plate was placed down before him by one of the palace workers, nodding his thanks as she patted his head and left them to their food.

"Good morning, Link! Did you sleep well?" Zelda chirped, smiling at her knight, looking him over with a worried eye. Once more, he had decided to wear clothes that were light and airy, covering his skin while keeping him cool even in the heat.

'I did. Thank you for the wonderful room, Queen Urbosa,'Link replied. He bowed his head to Urbosa, getting a small chuckle from the woman.

"It was not a hardship to make sure all of you were comfortable, little warrior. You brought all of us much to think about this time," Urbosa stated, Link tilting his head, looking to Zelda and getting a small smile.

"She has decided that she will be allowing the Yiga Clan to open up their original home base from the time when Ganondorf the Second was alive. From what she knows, it had been sealed by very strong magic and technology that would have protected everything inside. I'm certain that there are several books at the very least that will help us with what is going on," Zelda stated, sounding rather excited about the possibility of new knowledge.

Impa made a sound, scowling at the thought of the Yiga clan. "It was most likely stolen from the Sheikah when they left," she huffed. Link shook his head.

'No. The original Yiga Clan had split from the Sheikah because of their duties to the first King of the Gerudo people. All of their books were started with copies, but they were expanded over the years,'Link signed to her. He was stared at by the three women with various levels of surprise and curiosity. 'Goddess Hylia gave me some more information last night in my sleep,'he explained.

"Ah," Zelda mused, nodding and accepting his words.

She had a feeling that it was easier for the Goddess Hylia to speak with LInk because he was the holder of the Triforce of Courage and that he had always been a bit more connected to the spiritual side of his abilities. He worked hard at his skills but she also knew that he enjoyed the simpler things in life. Good food, friends, and nature around him made him the happiest.

"Well, I do suppose time and anger has twisted many legends."

Impa nodded as she thought, knowing that if Hylia had said it, it was true. She had a feeling that a lot of what they took as 'truth' had been turned from the real truth through the years. Time had a habit of doing that.

"Hopefully they will be willing to allow you to study their books, little bird," Urbosa stated, taking the letter that Link handed her as he dug into his food. "They delivered this last night while you slept? I really need to see if they'll stop doing that," she huffed.

Link just smiled, a soft laugh escaping him as she read the letter. She made a curious sound and he put the spoon down. 'They want to meet up at the Rito Village,'he said. 'They have already sent a message to the head of the Rito People about meeting with all of us to explain what they know. They're already sending out messages to the Zora Kingdom with a copy of a book that they had gotten out before they sealed up their old home. It's a large journal that talked about how they had come to be and their Goddess given mission,'Link explained to Impa and Zelda after he had wiped his mouth.

"It sounds like they're doing the absolute most that they can to make sure that their new treaty goes through," Impa said as she eyed the letter with a frown. She had a sinking feeling that she was going to have a lot of trouble putting her issues with them to the side but she was going to have to do so.

Especially since a Goddess was demanding that they stop a future that had left everything devastated.

"They are. They're still having to, for the most part, keep this Astor character out of the loop while making it seem like they're keeping him in the loop, but they are getting things done," Urbosa stated. She folded the letter and handed it to Link. "So, we're heading to the Rito Village next, huh? Do you think that the Goddess will need to talk to them Herself?" she asked.

Link shook his head after a moment of thought. 'No. She knows that they will listen to what we have to say and what we need to tell them. For the most part,'he replied. He frowned. 'Still, I'm kind of worried about the one who the Goddess wants to name as Champion.'

"Oh?" Urbosa prompted.

'She wants the Rito Champion to be one named Rivali. But from my dreams of the original timeline, he has an attitude and one that I'm worried about. Yes, he's their best warrior, do not get me wrong, but he...he made some choices that were based on his own first opinion about me and the way that Zelda had acted around me,'Link explained. 'I am hoping that by going to them the way that we are that we won't have to deal with it this time.'

"I hope so too," Zelda said, frowning slightly at the thought that her unwillingness at one time to really see and get to know Link would have hurt the bond between all of the champions. They couldn't afford to let that happen. "I do hope that I have changed from what I was to what I should be." Link smiled and patted her hand, getting a small giggle as the dishes were taken away. "So, we speak with the Yiga Clan today and open the old base so that they may start moving their people and hopefully allow me some access to the library to do a deep dive. If anything, I hope to get scans so that I can research as we travel around."

"I think that sounds like a perfect plan, little bird. We will need to use sand seals to get out to the compound though. It is a long way from here on foot and in the sun," Urbosa stated as she stood. "And we will need to keep close to each other while we are traveling. I have a feeling that another sandstorm is starting up."

Link nodded as he stood, the other two joining them as he adjusted his scimitar so it sat on his back better, Aveil smirking before she turned to her Queen.

"I will gather a guard to join us and make sure that the sand seals are ready for travel," she stated, bowing before she left, patting Link on his head as she walked past. He blushed at her. "I do believe that she would make a wonderful consort to our king," she muttered to one of the guards as she walked out of the castle to the training grounds.

She was quick to gather everyone up and found Urbosa with her group all standing by the South Entrance, putting on face wrappings so that they were protected as they traveled. Even Urbosa was wearing a face wrapping with the way the wind was picking up.

"Remember everyone, we are to stay close together. There is a very bad storm coming and I do not want any of us to get hurt. We all have our shields?" she asked. Everyone, even Link, held up a shield that all Geurdo warriors used, built for strength and to withstand the sand surfing they did. "Wonderful. Let's do this."

It didn't take them long to get traveling towards the Yiga compound, Link thinking as he easily settled into surfing on the sand. Several of the warriors appraised him when he helped Zelda find her footing on her shield without falling over. They all knew what was under the clothes that he wore, but that he was showing his respect by dressing as a woman, and thus were respecting him in turn.

That and Aveil had already said that he would make a good consort for their King if they were able to get him free from his prison. She was right about that and they could see it if it worked out for them.
