Everyone was playing their role while Brooklynn was using her tech-savvy knowledge to get the cameras working all across the park to keep eyes on Mitch and Tiff. Peter and Laura did their part, using Laura's tracking capabilities to search the jungle for someone who could help them. Kenji drove the motorcycle out of the tunnels and out into the jungle to get Sammy and Darius. Yaz and Ben broke into the garage where she found herself a working vehicle and Ben found some flashlights that would hopefully work.
"Gotcha," Brooklynn said, spotting the two of them on the cameras.
"You know why you don't listen to me," Tiff said. "I told you those kids would be a problem."
"And I told you I had a plan!" Mich stated.
"Which went perfectly, as we're safe at home with our trophies and not traipsing through the jungle!" Tiff cried out, not realizing they were awakening the three Baryonyx's in the distance. "Oh, wait! We are traipsing through the jungle! Ugh! Your plan was, oh, what's the word? It's on the tip of my tongue here. Oh, bad! If we had gone back to Kenya
like I suggested, in the first place-"
"Give it a rest, Tiffany! If I hear you say Kenya one more time…" Mich was getting sick of her.
"Kenya! Kenya, Kenya, Kenya, Kenya, Kenya!" Tiff cried.
Mich groans. "Look, we're halfway to the watering hole. Besides, you'll feel a lot better once you get the chance to shoot some…" That was when they saw a large gate that was blocking the path. "Are you kidding me? Fine, maybe we should just…What are you doing?"
Tiff groaned as she approached the gate. "Ugh! What does it look like, Mitchell? I'm going through it. I didn't get dragged to the world's tackiest abandoned resort for nothing,
and I'm not returning empty-handed-"
When she touched the gate, it was revealed to be electrified as Brooklynn got the power working throughout the entire park. Tiff was sent flying backward due to the electrical shock. Her hair was now sticking up due to the electrical current, and her hat was flung off her head in the process.
"Ow!"
"What's good, Isla Nublar?" Brooklynn called through the speakers. "Tonight, we've got a very special, very shocking, "Brooklynn Unboxes Live" going out to Mitch and Tiff. Kapow!"
"And we've electrified the fences of bigger dinosaurs because safety is our number one priority here at Jurassic World."
Brooklynn giggles over the speakers, getting them irritated.
"I hate children!" Tiff stated.
"Botswana, the Amazon, Siberia… We have hunted tigers, hippos, and snow leopards, and none of them have given us the trouble those kids have." Mich groaned.
"We're not beat yet, babe," Tiff promised. "We are getting that T. rex head for your man cave and the head of every dinosaur we have ever wanted."
That was when they heard one of the Baryonyx's roars in the distance and came charging at them. Tiff yanked the gun from Mich and then targeted the Baryonyx and shot it dead instantly. Mitch groans as she then sighs in relief.
"Oh, you're right, I do feel better," Tiff admitted as she tossed the gun back. "We'll come back for it later."
"Right after the watering hole." Mich agreed as they walked off.
The two Baryonyxs approached their dead sibling and began to hunt down those who were responsible for the death of their sibling.
Peter leans against a tree, catching his breath. His web shooters are low on fluid since he left the various others back at the camp and he hadn't really refueled the other cardigans with the formula, and his usually quick reflexes are dulled by fatigue. Laura stands beside him, her posture tense, claws extended, scanning the shadows as she searches for who they are hunting for.
"We can't let him catch us off guard," Laura warns him.
"Tell me about it. I thought we had him last time," Peter said with a sigh.
Suddenly, a rustle in the bushes alerts them. Laura snarled as she prepared to strike who they thought it was going to be. Peter was waiting for his senses to alert him where they were coming from. That was when Kraven emerged as he lung forward, throwing his spear and causing both of them to jump and look in shock as they didn't realize that he was freed from the webbing, a smug smile on his face, holding a spear adorned with trophies from past hunts
"Ah, the weary web-slinger and the animal. Back for another round?" Kraven then grabbed his spear again, preparing to fight them off. "You should have learned your lesson..."
Laura growled as she got into her stance, bending one foot while drawing her claws. "We're not backing down, Kraven."
With a swift motion, Laura lunges at Kraven, her claws slashing through the air. Kraven sidesteps, showcasing his agility, and counters with a swift strike of his spear that narrowly misses Laura.
"Hey! Watch out for that thing!" Peter cried as he sprang into action, shooting a web to immobilize Kraven's arms. "You can poke an eye out!"
The hunter grunts as the sticky strands wrap around him, but he quickly breaks free with sheer strength and with his spear. "You think your tricks can hold me? I am the apex predator!"
As Kraven charges, Peter tries to dodge but stumbles, his exhaustion catching up with him. Kraven takes advantage, swinging the spear toward him.
"Look out!" Laura cried out.
Laura leaps in front of Peter just in time, her claws slicing through the spear's shaft, sending splinters flying. Kraven, momentarily disarmed, growls in frustration.
"You're both weak! The jungle will be your grave!"
With renewed determination, Peter finds a second wind, using his agility to swing above Kraven, landing behind him. He throws a quick jab, but Kraven dodges, spinning around to retaliate. Laura uses the distraction to her advantage, darting in with blinding speed, her claws aiming for Kraven's side. He barely manages to block, but the force pushes him back.
"You think this will stop me? I will hunt you down until you are nothing!" Kraven promises.
Spider-Man, rallying his energy, shoots webs at Kraven's feet, attempting to bind him. Kraven struggles, trying to shake them off, but Laura doesn't let up, striking at him with precision and ferocity.
"You're not the hunter here," Laura promises. "We are!"
The battle intensifies, each hero pushing through their fatigue, the jungle around them alive with the sounds of their struggle. Peter leaped in to strike from above, while Laura went in from below. But Kraven grabbed Peter by the foot, then slammed him into Laura, sending the two flying and slamming into the trees, and knocking into one of the other electrical gates.
"You think... you can best me a second time?" Kraven asked as he stepped on Peter's chest. "I... am... Sergei Kravenoff!" He then stepped on Peter's throat, causing him to begin chocking. "The greatest game hunter!" He then picked up the tip of his spear that happened to be nearby. "And I... claim my ultimate prize!"
"L...Laura!" Peter choked out, looking over to see she was getting up. "Help..."
Laura's heart raced as she spotted Peter in peril, a sense of urgency igniting her instincts. With a fierce determination, she pushed herself to her feet and unleashed an enormous roar, a primal call meant to divert Kraven's attention. Yet, despite her efforts, Kraven merely glanced in her direction, his expression unperturbed; he recognized her as no real threat.
Frustration coursed through Laura as she desperately tried to will her clothes to take shape around her, but her nerves were frayed, leaving her unable to focus. Just then, a peculiar scent filled the air, sharp and unfamiliar, stirring her instincts. Panic surged through her as she realized the imminent danger that loomed around them. In a flash, she sprinted forward, her muscles propelling her as fast as they could.
Meanwhile, Peter was locked in a fierce struggle against Kraven, the relentless hunter inching closer, the spearhead gleaming ominously as it neared Peter's vulnerable form. Just as Peter's heightened senses warned him of Kraven's advance, he felt an unsettling shift in the atmosphere—something was about to happen.
Suddenly, out of the thick foliage of the jungle, a shadow darted by—a whirlwind of movement that caught both Peter and Kraven off-guard. Scorpion launched himself into the fray, a menacing blur as he charged straight for Kraven, determined to turn the tide in their favor. The air crackled with tension as the scene unfolded, a dramatic clash between hunter and hunted. He tackled the psycho hunter which allowed Peter the chance to breathe while Laura quickly drageed him away to safety.
"What are you?" Kraven said in shock.
Kraven looked towards Scorpion and saw the mutated animal was something completely different and saw he could be his new trophy. Scorpion screeched towards Kraven, but Peter was fast to regain his strength and web Kraven's hand to a tree and shoot a web at Scorpion to get his attention. "Hey, Scorpi! We're the ones that we want, right?"
"Come and get us!" Laura cried as they ran ahead, making their way through the jungle.
"Brook, you there?!" Peter cried as they ran through the jungle, trying to not lose Scorpion but to keep him at a distance. His venom was a warning that Peter did remember in the book saying the poison that Scorpion carried was dangerous and could cause hallucinations to make it easier for him to kill his prey. He didn't want to know how they found out. "Brooklynn!?"
"Right here! Sorry, still trying to keep up, you guys are fast," Brooklynn explained what took her a minute. "What's up?"
"We've got part 1 done, we need an entrance to the water hole!" Peter cried as they ran as fast as they could.
"Oh, yeah, right," Brooklynn said as she pulled up the map. "Okay, if you keep running ahead, there should be an entrance once you reach the road."
"Running wont be the problem!" Peter cried as he shoved Laura to avoid a splash of Scorpion venom. "Run faster, sis!"
"Try and keep up, brother!" Laura dares as she tried to run faster.
Scorpion then leaped at them from a tree. Peter then quickly leaped into the air where he then shot a web to open up the hatch for them to escape into. They then used the hatch as Laura quickly used her claws to cut through the handle and allow Peter to throw it towards Scorpion. Knocking the creature back but not down, Laura and Peter crawled into the tunnel system and ran as fast as they could towards the water hole. Scorpion leaned down behind them and screeched as he chased after them in anger.
Brooklynn was happy to see the plan was working and happened to notice one of the cameras was pointing to a certain door with the number: E750. She wondered if that was the same thing that the card she referenced had to do with, but then she saw there was a Gyrosphere close to her on the cameras and ignored the E750 door and ran to get to the Gyrosphere to try and get back out there and help everyone.
Mich and Tiff had just reached the Water hole and were preparing to shoot the Velociraptor when they were interrupted by Peter and Laura.
"Hey, guys," Peter said, interrupting their focus as they turned to face them. "How's the vacation shaping up? everything you hoped for?"
"Oh, right, I forgot there were six of you," Tiff sighed in annoyance and looked at Laura. "Who's she?"
"My half-sister," Peter answered. "This is Laura, so you are going to listen, or she will knife you in the face."
Laura snarled as she revealed her claws, getting the adults spooked. "Be smart about this, kid," Mich said. "The rest of your friends are dead weight, but you can still get out of here."
Peter scoffed when he heard that. "No. I'm gonna save them, and we are gonna stop you. Whatever it takes."
"Oh, really?" Tiff asks with a scoff. "And how do you plan to do that?"
"Easy." Peter stated as he pointed behind them. "Have you met my half-brother?"
That was when Scorpion finally caught up with them and leaped at the four of them, getting Mich and Tiff to change focus towards Scorpion and try to shoot him. But that only angered Scorpion as he charged at the two, sending his tail flying towards them. Tiff leaped out of the way while Mich tried to shoot him again, failing as it ended with Scorpion swiping his tail and knocking her over.
Peter cheered when he saw his plan working. "My boy is wicked strong! That's my big boy!" That was when Scorpion snarled as he turned back to face them. "Oh, shit. I did not think this through."
"We forgot to come up with a plan to get him to leave us alone afterward, didn't we?" Laura asks.
"Yep," Peter admitted.
When Scorpion leaped to attack them, he was hit at full force by a Gyrpsphere coming out of nowhere. Scorpion was knocked backward, and since the Gyrosphere was built to withstand dinosaurs, it was able to knock Scorpion backward. Brooklynn was shocked to see what she did and looked at the two of them.
"Brooklynn to the rescue!" Peter cheered. "Nice work!"
That was when they heard groaning and snarling, causing them to see Scorpion and the crazy hunters getting back up.
"Now open up!" Peter cried as he ran to the Gyrosphere. "Open up! Open up!"
Brooklynn did so as the two of them climbed in and tried to share the seat. "Get us out of here!"
"With pleasure!" Brooklynn said as she drove off, getting a clear view of the horizon.
As they ventured deeper into the jungle, the group spotted Yaz skillfully maneuvering the jeep, a blur of motion against the lush greenery. Kenji, Sammy, and Darius roared past on a motorcycle, their flashlights cutting through the twilight and illuminating their determined faces, while Ben sat confidently atop Bumpy, the trusty ankylosaurus while making noise. Their hearts raced with adrenaline as they sped towards the water hole, each of them focused on the mission at hand—spooking the dinosaurs from harm's way and guiding them away from the lurking threats of hunters.
With a triumphant gleam in their eyes, Peter, Brooklynn, and Laura hurried to join their friends in the Gyrosphere, relief washing over them as they realized their plan had come to fruition. The dinosaurs were safe, and against all odds, they had managed to evade danger.
But suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. The dinosaurs, sensing something amiss, pivoted en masse and bolted back toward the water hole. A thunderous roar reverberated through the air, sending chills down their spines—the T-Rex had arrived. Its massive form intruded upon the scene, instilling terror. To make matters worse, a wild Rhino charged into the fray, further scattering the panicked dinosaurs.
The group exchanged frantic glances, adrenaline spiking as they quickly turned to escape the deadly combination of the Cross-Species monster and the ferocious T-Rex barreling toward them. Yaz was trying to start up the jeep, but it seemed to want to take this moment to cut out on her, stopping her from escaping. Peter noticed this and quickly opened the hatch for the Gyrosphere while in motion and jumped from the vehicle. He ran over to the vehicle as he saw the dinosaurs and Rhino heading right for her. Rhino charged at the car and rammed Yaz, sending her flying, but she was then caught by Peter who used his strength to stop her descent.
"Cut the brakes!" Peter cried, recognizing they were up hill.
Yaz seemed to understand the plan as she did just that as Peter put the car back down. They then rolled down the hill as Rhino charged towards Peter. Peter stood on top of the vehicle as he prepared for round two against the Cross-Species mess. Rhino leaped into the air, but Peter quickly punched him in the face, sending him toppling right into a herd of dinosaurs. Obviously it wasn't gong to be enough to kill him, but it would be enough to give them time to retreat.
Peter then tore up the roof and grabbed Yaz, pulling her into his arms while Bumpy came up beside them. Leaping off of the truck right as the T-Rex reached them, they got onto Bumpy and ran into the herd to hide.
Mich and Tiff were also caught in the stampede as they ran up a tree. They ran up so fast that the gun was knocked out of their hands and crashed into the ground. Right in the middle of the stamp.
No! No!" Tiff cried as she watched the dinosaurs leave. "This was a custom job!"
"Leave it and come on!" Mich said. "We gotta get back to the boat before-" That was when he was caught in his own trap, dangling upside down in a bear trap. "Get me out of this!"
"Hold still!" Tiff said as she tried to help him down.
"Gee, Tiff, I can't for some reason!" Mich cried. "Maybe it's because I'm in one of our snare traps!"
"Well, I'm sorry you forgot where you and Hap set it," Tiff said with a scoff.
That was when they heard something thudding and looked out to see the T-Rex closing in on them.
"Hurry!" Mich said in terror.
"I'm trying. It's not… Ugh!" Tiff finally gave up as she then reached into his pocket and took the keys.
"Babe?" Mich was confused.
"I never liked that nickname!" Tiff cried out as she ran away.
"Tiffany! You get back here. Get back here right…" Mich was interrupted by the T-Rex coming to him.
Mich tried to use the gun, but it didn't work out and ended with the T-Rex devourering him.
Brooklynn and Laura raced in the Gyrosphere, urgency etched on their faces as they navigated the winding path toward the docks. The salty breeze whipped through their hair, intensifying their determination to prevent Tiff from making her escape. As they approached the edge of the water, Laura summoned her agility, her claws gleaming in the fading sunlight as she launched herself from the Gyrosphere.
With all her might, she aimed to intercept the boat that bobbed just out of reach on the shimmering surface. In a heart-stopping moment, her outstretched hand brushed the hull, but the vessel slipped away, fueled by a merciless current. The thought of diving into the water flickered in her mind, but the heavy weight of her Adamantium-laced skeleton held her back, a reminder that she couldn't risk the plunge.
Frustration coursed through her veins, and she turned to Tiff, who stood at the edge of the boat, a cruel smile stretching across her face. Tiff's mocking laughter echoed over the water, a taunt that ignited a fire within Laura. She snarled, the sound primal and fierce, a vow that this chase wasn't over.
"I am out of here! And you're never getting off this awful, awful island! In fact, I'm going back and I'm not telling anyone you're here! You are gonna rot here, you little brats!" Tiff then headed into the boat, leaving them behind. "They ruined my vacation, and my marriage, and my best gun." She then whimpers in sorrow. "And they are never going home!"
That was when the other Baryonyxs appeared on her boat and caused Tiff to scream in terror.
In a burst of frustration, Laura kicked an empty food can across the dock, its metallic clang echoing in the air. She shot a glance at Brooklynn, who stood a few feet away, her expression a mix of concern and curiosity. Just then, the steady sound of engines rumbled in the distance, heralding the arrival of their friends.
As Kenji, Sammy, and Darius dismounted from the motorcycle, laughter spilled from their lips, their spirits undampened by their precarious situation. They sprinted towards Laura and Brooklynn, arms open wide for exuberant embraces, their laughter infectious.
Moments later, Bumpy, the friendly dinosaur, ambled over, carrying Peter, Yaz, and Ben on her back. The three of them leaped off and joined the joyful reunion, everyone collapsing into a tight-knit group hug. Despite being stranded on an island teeming with dinosaurs, the warmth of camaraderie cocooned them, reminding them that they were not alone in this chaotic adventure.
Laura lingered on the periphery, a sense of isolation creeping in as she watched them share the moment. Just as she felt a pang of exclusion, Peter and Sammy caught her gaze and pulled her into the embrace, their enthusiasm wrapping around her like a comforting blanket. In that instant, the sense of belonging surged within her, affirming that they were all in this together, no matter the dangers lurking in the shadows.
"Oh, don't think you're getting out of this!" Sammy said with glee. "I never got to officially welcome you to the Camp-Fam!"
Laura grunted as she tried to break free of the hug. "She always like this?"
"You get used to it," Peter shrugged. "Or get smothered by it so much it doesn't really bug you anymore."
Laura sighed and embraced the hug.
Darius then looked at Ben in sorrow. "I'm sorry. I tried to hold on."
"Think nothing of it, kid," Ben promises. "When you've seen what I've seen… I missed you, guys, too."
"Did… Did you just call me "kid"?" Darius asks.
"So… what now?" Kenji asks. "Try to find another distress beacon?"
"No," Darius stated. "We're done waiting for someone to rescue us. It's time we found our own way off the island."
"This is going to be fun..." Peter said with a sigh, looking out into the jungle. "Especially with there now being a Rhino, Scorpion, and a crazy psycho Hunter still on the loose."
"Oh, great." Kenji forgot about that. "Kraven is still here."
"Don't worry," Peter said as he gave Laura a side hug. "Me and my sis can deal with him."
"Hands off," Laura warned him.
"Sorry," Peter said, moving away.
What they didn't realize was that the cooling chambers for the other creatures were now fractured and E750, and S63, the last of Richard Parker's experiments were now on the loose.
