Chapter 4: A Love Blooms
Agent BM: You're about to find out
When the movie was over, Honey and Zeke left the theater together.
"I can't believe the villain accidentally hanged himself." said Honey.
"That was pretty dark for a Disney movie." Zeke replied.
"So I'll see you tomorrow, Zeke."
"Yeah, looking forward to it."
And the two parted ways.
Back in her room, Honey greeted her bees.
"Hey, guys I'm back." shes said.
"Hey Honey, glad you're back. Your game boy needs new batteries by the way." Stinger told her.
"Was the movie good?" asked Buzz.
"Yes, it was. And I met someone."
"A new friend to hang out with perhaps?" Bumble wondered.
"I know that look in your eyes, it's a guy isn't it?"
"Yes, and yes it was a guy."
"A guy? That's nice." Buzz replied.
"What happened with this guy?" Stinger wanted to know.
"His name is Zeke and he goes here. We saw Tarzan together and apparently he's been wanting to talk to me for a while."
"Sounds like a stalker." replied Stinger.
"Ignore buzz kill over here. What did he say to you?" said Bumble.
"He says he likes my honey products and has ideas to help me."
"Cool. When're you seeing him again?" asked Buzz.
"We're actually gonna see another movie."
"What're you seeing? What's even playing?" asked Stinger.
"A movie called Star Wars the Phantom Menace."
"That's great. Maybe you can wear some of the clothes your roommate got you. Like this denim jacket, or perhaps this green shirt. All these nice clothes and you never wear them." Bumble told her.
"Star Wars? Honey that movie's been out for a month and you never showed interest in seeing it. You don't even know anything about Star Wars." Stinger pointed out.
"I know what but he did invite me and it would be rude to say no. Besides he's nice."
"Well still, wouldn't hurt to wear something new for once." Bumble mentioned.
"I guess you could try to see the trailer online too to see what happens. School computers should be running again after crashing in April due to that." said Buzz.
"All right, guys. Let's get to work." Honey told them.
The next day Honey dressed in an orange shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and her jean jacket. When she got to the theater, she saw Zeke waiting for her.
"Hi, Zeke." she greeted.
Zeke saw her and smiled.
"Hey, Honey, glad you made it." he told her.
And they went inside, and got some snacks. As the two entered their designated theater room, Honey unzipped her purse so her bees could fly out and see the movie in a safe place.
The theater was full of people in costumes, dressed like stormtroopers and rebel pilots, among other creatures Honey didn't recognize, and here she was in her usual clothes and a jean jacket to keep warm in the theater.
After she and Zeke took their seats, she placed her purse between her feet and sat back, rolling down the sleeves on her jacket.
"Hope this movies good." said Honey.
"It's been 16 years since the last one, hence why the crowd is excited." Zeke explained.
"And here I am wearing my simple clothes and my pearls."
"Why're you wearing pearls? This isn't a fancy movie."
"I told you. They were a gift from my parents, they're special to me. I wear them everywhere to remind me of them, they were the earliest believers of my business dream." Honey explained, as she munched on her popcorn.
The lights began to dim in the theater and the crowd erupted in cheers as the movie started. Honey ripped open her candy and adjusted her glasses as the opening logos came on.

STAR WARS
EPISODE 1
THE PHANTOM MENACE
Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute. Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade Federation has stopped all shipping to the small planet of Naboo.
While the congress of the Republic endlessly debates the alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy to settle the conflict….
Honey's bees sat perched somewhere in the theater, and were confused by the opening.
"What does any of this mean?" Bumble whispered.
"Who cares, as long as Honey likes it." Buzz whispered to her.
Honey however didn't understand the opening either. While she found the ship designs unique, she found the dialogue not very impressive. She also found the bad guy robots kinda dumb.
"Halt." "I'm ambassador to the supreme chancellor, I'm taking these people to Coruscant."
"Where are you taking them?"
"To Coruscant."
"Coruscant? Uh, that doesn't compute, uh wait, uh, you're under arrest."
The bad guy robot was sliced in half after that, again, very dumb. Sometime later she found interest in the movies podrace sequence, which made her very intrigued. However, now she was watching a scene in some boring city planet, with no action in sight.
Some of the dialogue reminded her of her classes, which she didn't want to hear. She was growing very bored. Now she was watching some scene of a bunch of people in a senate meeting. What did any of this have to do with Star Wars?
"Honorable representatives of the republic, I come to you under the gravest of circumstances. The Naboo system has been invaded by the droid armies of the trade..."
"I object, there is no proof. This is incredible. We recommend a commission be sent to Naboo to ascertain the truth."
"The congress of malastare concurs with the honorable delegates of the trade federation, a commission must be appointed."
Honey rolled her eyes. She was starting to grow really bored, to the point of falling asleep.
"The point is conceded. Will you defer your motion to allow a commission to explore the validity of your accusation?"
"I move for a vote of no confidence in chancellor Valorums leadership."
At that point, Honey could no longer keep her eyes open, she was so bored. Honey fell asleep on Zeke's shoulder. Zeke was surprised, but didn't mind, stroking his hand across her ponytail.
The next thing honey knew, she was startled awake by a big explosion in the movie.
"There they are, fire!"
"Roger Roger."
Honey rubbed her eyes and sat up, immediately entertained by the movie again. While she did enjoy the rest of the movie, she felt kind of embarrassed having fallen asleep. What if Zeke never wanted to see her again after that?
The next day at college, while Honey was walking around campus with her bees in her purse, she ran into Zeke.
"Hey Honey." he greeted.
"Hi Zeke." she replied.
"Listen sorry about the movie the other day, wasn't expecting you to fall asleep." he told her.
"No I'm sorry that was kinda rude of me."
"But you did look good yesterday. That jean jacket looks great on you."
"I knew he'd like the jacket." Bumble whispered.
"Shh." Stinger told her.
"Thanks Zeke I'll keep that in mind."
"And about the movie, it was probably my fault you fell asleep. I didn't know it would be like that. I'm sure you hear a lot of boring political stuff in your classes already."
"Yeah I do."
"You don't know the half of it." Buzz muttered.
"Do you hear whispering? I swear I hear someone talking to us." Zeke wondered.
Honey held her purse closely.
"Oh I don't think so." she said quickly.
"Quiet guys."
"Sorry." the bees replied.
"Okay you're talking to something. What's in that bag of yours anyhow? And don't say young woman stuff."
"(Sighs) okay."
Honey opened her purse, and takes her bees out. "What are those? Some kind of toys?
"Hey we're not toys!" snapped Stinger.
"Well you're not real bumblebees either. Honey what are these things?"
"Zeke this is Buzz, Bumble, and Stinger. My little mascots, a friend of mine made them in robotics class."
"So they're little robots that follow you around? Cool, kind of like those battle droids from the movie."
"It's nice to finally meet you Zeke." Bumble told him.
She flew up and landed on his head.
"Hmm, surprisingly light for something made of metal."
"Bumble, please." Honey took her off his head.
"Sorry, Zeke. The more they learn about the world the more advanced they get and they can get a little excited."
"Obviously."
"Hey, what's not to be excited about?" Buzz asked.
"All right right you guys, back in my purse."
And with that, Honey put them back in.
"Interesting little things. You carrying them in your purse reminds me of those celebrities I see in magazines who carry dogs in their bags."
"(Giggles), that's a good comparison. They like to sit on my head, but I figured it be best to keep them in my purse when I'm out."
"Good idea." Zeke replied.
The two were quiet for a moment, and then he spoke again.
"Hey, Honey would you like to have dinner tonight?"
Honey was surprised, but then answered.
"Sure that sounds great."
"I'll pick you up at your dorm."
And then he walked off.
"Guys, did you hear that?" she asked her bees.
"We did, and good for you, Honey." said Bumble.
"(Squeals), I can't believe he's giving me another chance."
