Shadows on the walls
Sitting on a chair with Saya and Shizuka shining a flash light into his eyes, Takashi winced as his left eye became blind slightly.
Blinking his eyes as the light was redirected, Takashi gave an amused smile as Shizuka frowned int thought as she went into nurse Mode.
"Explain to me exactly what happened after you got bit?" getting a look of thought from Takashi, he spoke.
"I started getting a fever I think, my head was throbbing, I had this… weird thing at the edges of my vision, like veins" gesturing to his eyes, Saeko and Rei were sitting down while Hisashi and Kohta were blocking the door to the current safe house they found.
"Odd, that's not like the other symptoms those who've been bitten have shown, What's you're blood type?" looking down in thought to remember that answer, Takashi spoke.
"I'm, O negative" getting a nod from Shizuka, she moved to a notepad to take notes while Saya went to a sink.
Removing the Contacts from her eyes, her look was completed by the pair of glasses.
Turning back to Takashi as Shizuka began wrapping up the bite mark in gauze.
"So, do we have a way out of here or are we just gonna stay here?" turning to Hizashi as he held a TV remote, Rei spoke while looking at her phone.
"The Military and Police still around have made checkpoints to try and contain this pandemic, except the city is now split into three segments, a safe zone, a quarantine zone… and Red Zone. You can guess where we are?" holding her phone up to show the screen, Takashi stood up while fixing his school jacket.
"If we're getting out of here we need wheels, Marikawa-Sensei, you still have you're car keys?" watching the Nurse reach into her handbag, Saeko spoke.
"Will we all even fit?" getting a confused look from Takashi, he scratched his left cheek in embarrassment.
"Did not think of that actually" before anymore could be said, Hirano stood staring out the window.
"Well, the School buses are still here" stepping to his side, Hizashi patted the shorter teens back with a grin of hope.
"Nice catch Hirano-san" getting a chuckle from the teen as Shizuka spoke.
"Oh yeah, there'll be plenty of room for us and anyone else we meet on the way" getting nods of agreement, Saya turned to Rei who was staring at the News report on the TV.
"What's going on?" approaching Rei with a worried look, Hizashi looked up before he watched as chaos was shown, zombies eating others, people fleeing in terror… what was that hulking thing walking amongst the horde.
Staring as the report ended, Takashi stood in place, looking to the others as they sat in silence, Takashi looked to his bite wound before he spoke firmly.
"Shizuka-san, where would one go to make a vaccine in this city?" getting looks from the others, Saya's eyes widened in surprise as Takashi held his bitten arm up.
Kicking a Zombie over the railings of the stairway, the sound of a dying gag from below left the group moving with Takashi leading the charge, with the others sporting metal braces fashioned from the workshop, Takashi the only one not sporting such due to his… well, immunity. His trusty sledgehammer used with such little effort, Takashi swung it with the force sending a Zombie crumbling into a wall, ignoring the dying gurgling of the once female student, Saeko spoke to Saya.
"So they're sensitive to sound?"
"Yes, Hirano and I were testing my theory which was proven right, after one testing the zombie began gnawing on a locker" getting a snort of amusement from Hizashi, Rei giggled as Takashi spoke.
"So blind morons, got it" moving down the stairs, a scream echoed from below, leaning over to see a group fending off a small horde, Takashi moved into action.
Vaulting over the railings to use a zombie as a landing pad, the force alone caused it to explode into a shower of gore, the sound getting the zombies attention for a moment before three were decapitated with one swing of Takashi's hammer, he turned to the last two zombies to send them tumbling to they're deaths down the stairs, Takashi turned to the group of five with a pleased smile as his group caught up.
"Hi, how's the apocalypse going for you all?" getting stunned silence from the group. Saya smacked him upside the head with a frown.
"Don't run off on us next time, even if you're immune" getting surprised looks form the group before them, the student known as Takuzo to speak up.
"Immune?" showing the wrap on his left wrist, Takashi spoke.
"Got bit an hour ago, haven't felt more alive ever since" shrugging at the stunned looks, Takashi spoke.
"Yeah, I was stunned too… any of you bitten?" getting head shakes, one of the female students named Naomi spoke.
"No, none of us were bitten" getting a nod, Takashi looked down the stairs for any other zombies.
"They look fine" getting a thumbs up from Rei, Takashi looked over the entrance to the Parking lot to see a lot of zombies shambling about.
"We need to be careful, let me clear out the lobby and we'll make a run for it, and for god make any sounds" getting nods, Takashi stepped down the stairs while finding a vending machine, seeing it still working and out of the way of the exit, Takashi shrugged and looked at the menu.
Setting his hammer down while browsing, he spoke loudly up to his group.
"Hey guys, want a drink!?" getting alarmed looks form the students, the zombies attention were solely on his location now.
Turning to the gathering horde, Takashi gave a chuckle as he rolled his neck, grabbing his hammer, he spoke.
"Hey, I wasn't asking you lot!" shoving his hammer forward, the blades on the hammer cut deep into a skull, seeing hands reach for him, Takashi grinned as he spun with his hammer… and the corpse.
SKINDRED – Gimme that Boom
Throwing the corpse with his Hammer, a few of the zombies went tumbling as Takashi rushed at a Zombie as it turned to the noise.
Raising his fists, Takashi grinned as he sent an unrestrained hook, feeling the jaw break under his punch, Takashi felt no pain from this act before he began a beat down, stomping on one of the downed Zombie's head, Takashi caught another by the neck as it went to bite him, he threw his right fist forward, thinking he'd send it flying, he was stunned momentarily as he hand broke right through the skull, ripping his now bloodied hand free, he sent it backhanding another zombie as he picked up his hammer, the Head now bodiless stuck to it.
Turning to three more zombies, Takashi ran into a drop kick, sending one flying with it's head exploding against the wall, he tripped one of the two zombies before swinging upward to the standing one, sending it's head flying, Takashi turned to the last Zombie as it crawled towards him, Takashi raised his hammer above his head.
Before slamming it down with a mighty "DON!"
Looking over his handiwork, Takashi looked up to the group to see them stunned silent, looking over his now bloodied clothes, Takashi spoke.
"Ok, not my brightest idea but it has results" shrugging as the group stepped down the stairs in amazement, Takuzo spoke.
"Never let me piss you off" getting a chuckle, Takashi threw his hammer at the vending machine, opening the door to get what was inside, the group quickly gathered what they could carry before moving to the door, and seeing the coast was clear with a few zombies, Takashi looked to the cars still parked, stepping out while finding a rock, Takashi tested the weight before throwing it at a car, setting off the alarm, and coincidentally attracting the zombies.
Walking to the Bus with a laidback attitude, the others climbed in with no issue.
Moving to get in after Momo Kawamoto, a voice called out to him from the School.
Showing a few more survivors, seeing them running as the alarm kept going, Takashi gestured for them to get on before he spotted one student fall to the floor, wincing in pain Takashi noticed a teacher beside him, Koichi Shido.
Seeing the student try and get help, the man simply kicked him in the face, leaving him for dead.
Moving forward with a dead serious look as the teacher approached calmly, Takashi let him pass as he helped the student off the floor, showing his right eye swelling from the kick, he thanked Takashi through the pain as he was dragged to the bus, the Alarm still doing it's work.
Closing the doors behind them, Takashi kept his eye son Shido while Hizashi and Rei glared.
"Well, we're on we can leave now!" staring at the teacher, if you can call a scumbag that, Takashi set his charge down for Saya to look over his face, Takashi spoke.
"If you think we're going anywhere with a man who left one of us behind, get out, now!" getting stunned silence, a student, Tsunoda, spoke up.
"What are you standing around for we can leave!?" giving the student a look, Takashi spoke.
"We're not going until we set one thing straight" approaching Shido who blinked, the two had a stare down with Shido giving an annoyed look.
"if I so much as suspect you're gonna cause problems for us, you're thrown off the bus, you only have one chance, fuck up and I'll throw you off myself" getting an angered look from the teacher, he spoke.
"And who made you in charge, we need someone responsible to lead us to safety, I for one-URGH!" failing to avoid the left hook, Takashi blinked at the angry look from the student Shido left behind, he spoke with venom.
"We're better off throwing him now if his first act is to abandon another HUMAN FUCKING BEING!" turning to Takashi, he spoke.
"You got my vote for saving my ass" getting a nod some of the other students spoke up.
"What's makes him so special!?" turning to a female student who Takashi vaguely remembered being called Yuuki Miku. Takashi, instead of answering, unwrapped his bandage, showing his bite wound with a serious look.
"I'm immune"
