The Zones

Standing within a lab sanctioned within the city of Tokonosu city, a man wearing lab attire stared into a telescope lens overlooking a sample of infected blood, carefully injecting a fresh sample of blood, the man's Dark brown eyes watched as the infected cells flocked to the untouched blood like Piranah's. looking to a notepad to jot down notes, he moved to another scope with the side being labelled with a Blood type written on the side, his calm look became one of annoyance at the same result.

Jotting down more notes, the scientist brought up a Radio.

"Bring me the next batch of test subjects, these ones are also a failure" ignoring the affirmative from the radio as he set the blood into a heater for contamination, he watched the flames cleanse the blood as a soldier rolled in with another set of Blood samples from volunteers, giving a thankful nod from the scientist, the soldier left the room quickly as the man got to work, scanning the blood once more before he looked to the door opening once again, a lone soldier stepping in with a package.

"Sir, we have another sample, it's from the Red zone" Giving a sigh, the scientist spoke tiredly.

"I do not require infected blood, I need uninfected blood, throw it into the furnace" moving to look over the telescope, the soldier spoke urgently.

"This was willingly given by an subject hours after no signs of infection after being bitten" turning to the soldier with a hopeful look to his eyes, the scientist gestured for the package.

"Who was the donor?"

"Donor is one Inuzuka Hana sir, she requested to be taken to her mothers home after donating a blood sample after exposure" taking the blood sample to place it onto the lens, the scientist carefully injected infected blood to watch.

And seeing the cells moving to the… oddly coloured blood cells, his eyes widened as the blood fought back and won, the infected cells shrivelling up before being broken down by the immune cells.

Dropping his pen in astonishment, he spoke to the soldier.

"O Negative cells…" Getting a look from the soldier, the scientist spoke with hope.

"The cure for this unknown outbreak, is O Negative blood, an extremely, impossibly rare blood type… Get me a list of all city inhabitants before the Outbreak began, if we can send out search parties or evacuation teams, we can revolutionise the studies of medicine and possibly find cures for any future outbreaks of this mutation" getting a salute from the soldier, Shibō Goro slumped in place with a hopeful smile as he stared at the blood once more.

"Soon this nightmare will be over"

Giving a sigh as she laid her head on Takashi's chest, Saya Takagi had a satisfied smile as the two laid under the sheets of the bed they had used last night, the pinkette sat up to show her flawless figure with her breasts exposed to Takashi who slept peacefully, staring down at her boyfriend, Saya leaned down and placed a kiss on his cheek, getting a reaction from Takashi who giggled at the ticklish feeling on his face before he woke up, grabbing Saya into a hug, the two stared at one another with loving smiles before hearing a clutter downstairs along with muffled yelling.

Making the two sigh in annoyance before they climbed out of bed, allowing them to quickly shower and dress, Takashi wore a Long sleeved shirt with a pair of Jeans, it seems Mei had gone on her own shopping trip for essentials while they were on a mini road trip.

Setting a pair of boots on, Takashi stared at the sight of Majima and Ryuji giving the TV a look with Mei who had a stern look.

"What's happening?"

Watching Ryuji turn and gesture to the TV, it showed a military operative being interviewed.

"The military discovered that O-Negative blood is immune to this plague" turning to Sojiro as he cleaned a cup, letting out a sigh while making a cup for Saya without even looking at her, the girl gave a thankful smile to the older man while Futaba typed on a laptop.

"They've been doing trials to try and combat this virus, it's going slow due to so many blockades from other factions of the military, some want to set up vaccines while some want to weaponize it, seems they think this is a viral attack from a foreign country, as usual" giving the little gremlin a raised eyebrow, she stared back at Takashi with a shrug.

"Hey, when you hack anything like I do it becomes second nature to be suspicious of government officials, for example, Biden in America is an official Paedophile on the account of his own daughter, talk about messed up right?" Giving a nod of disgust at the thought of the old guy with a kid, Takashi turned back to the TV which was a basic plead for anyone with O-negative blood to help stop the infection with a Large reward.

"And also the amount of greedy idiots not helping with the search for O-negative blood types" getting a snort from Mei, she moved to sit down with a sigh.

"At least the Military are putting an effort into keeping this contained, unlike Banoi" getting curious looks from Takashi and Ryuji, the woman refused to elaborate before Hizashi came rushing down the stairs.

"Hey, something is happening outside" Getting frowns from those in the living room, they followed him to the second floor balcony to the sight of… a Horde marching down the street, corpses being left alone for the Zombies to keep walking down the street, Takashi frowned at the sight while Hounds stopped and stared up at them before continuing on with the Horde.

"What the hell?"
