The Cavalry

Following the soldiers through the tunnel, Takashi and Ryuji were given fresh magazine's for the guns they found, the group were making progress to the exit of the tunnel, with the door being barricaded with two other soldiers aiming weapons at them before they relaxed after the commander made a gesture.

Seeing both Takashi and Ryuji, the soldiers gave concerned glances to one another before Kurotsuchi spoke.

"We have two VIP's with us, immune" Getting looks of understanding, the two gave both Takashi and Ryuji nods of respect which the two gave in return.

"How is it out there?" turning to the commander as he turned on the Security camera's for outside, the soldier to the left of the door spoke.

"It's getting hectic sir, a few shamblers and runners, the mutts have also been close to the door but never caught our scent" watching the screens come to life, Takashi and Ryuji spotted zombies walking around aimlessly with a few of the Hounds digging into trash cans.

Seeing the amount of infected outside, the commander cursed.

"This is the only exit, Kimiko, see if you can find scematics for the service tunnel" seeing the soldiers moving to action, Takashi and Ryuji spared a glance before Ryuji swiped a key from the door guards as they moved to assist, Takashi gave an innocent whistle as Ryuji opened the door, alarming everyone as he followed his fellow immune, before turning to the soldiers with a nod.

"We'll clear the outside" closing the door before the commander could protest, Takashi turned in time to see Ryuji grab a zombie by the throat before choke slamming it to the ground, followed by him stomping it's head into paste.

The sound gaining the attention of the close infected, the Hounds included as one turned its head in time to have it blown up by Takashi's Remedy.

Noticing movement to his left Takashi grabbed the rifles barrel before swinging it, cleaving a zombies head in two, he elbowed a sneaking zombie behind him before tripping it over his shoulder to deliver the killing blow with a bullet point blank.

Turning to Ryuji as he tackled a Hound much to it's surprise, making Takashi hum as his fellow immune tore it's ribcage open with a roar, Takashi blinked as Ryuji rushed at another hound that took a step back before it's head was torn off, seeing Ryuji turn to him, Takashi's eyes widened as his eyes were a eerie yellow before he grinned at Takashi with a nod, looking to his own hands as Ryuji rushed at another group, Takashi felt his heart racing as he gave a groan before it evolved into an angry snarl as his vision became red tinted.

"LET' FUCKING GO!" rushing to a zombie while holstering his rifle, Takashi approached a poor infected woman before blowing her chest open with a KICK, moving to a male zombie in office worker clothes, Takashi grabbed it by the top of it's head before pushing down, showering the area in zombie guts, Takashi grabbed two other zombies before smashing they're heads together. Making him blink at the blood on his face, Takashi turned with a backhand that sent the last zombies head flying.

Rushing after another zombie to grab it's neck, the head popped off before he spotted Ryuji, now human again, dodging an angry Hound as it tried to bite his face before lunging on top of him with the immune holding it back by the neck, stalking forward to the Hound, Takashi merely grabbed it's jaws and pulling off of Ryuji who watched as Takashi growled as he began pulling.

Leaving the zombie dog panicking as it's jaw began to be torn wider than necessary, Takashi sooner tore the bottom jaw off while snapping the Hounds neck with the upper jaw.

Dropping the corpse as his vision returned to normal, he flicked his hands before wiping his face of blood as Ryuji stood up, brushing himself off the two turned to see the soldiers walking out with weapons scanning the surroundings, the commander approaching the duo with a cautious look before he relaxed.

"It seems being immune has it's perks" Getting nods form the two, he spoke.

"Please give my men a heads up before doing something like that again" getting a shrug from the two, the commander sighed before making a gesture.

"Our base is down this road, can we count on you both to help us?" Giving a nod, Takashi and Ryuji walked with them.

And after a hike with a few stragglers being dealt with, Takashi and Ryuji spotted a familiar Bus parked.

Moving to yell, Takashi stopped himself as he looked around for any hidden zombies.

Moving quicker due to the final stretch, The Hotel was surrounded by Steel walls with barbed wire hooked up the top, Takashi followed the soldiers to a small gate.

Waiting for it to close behind them for the next door to open, Takashi and Ryuji were shown the sight of soldiers and civilians moving about with urgency.

Looking around as a few people stopped to gawk at they're state of dress, the commander stepped to the duo with Lieutenant Kurotsuchi beside him.

Standing at attention if a bit lazily from the tiredness, the commander spoke.

"Komuro, Sakamoto, Lieutenant Kurotsuchi will lead you to the decontamination, you'll have fresh clothes provided for you" giving nods of appreciation, The woman led the two to where a specially made shower block was with men in hazmat suits prepping.

Seeing the two, one of them gestured to follow a cue.

Stepping out of the unit provided for they're group, Saya, sighed, as she found a chair to sit down to watch the many survivors, she pulled out her radio to try once more to reach Takashi, Saya was met once again with a surge of noise before she shut it off, leaving her stewing in rage as she tried to fiddle with the channel she had before the voice of Mei spoke.

"Takagi-san, are you still having trouble with the radio?" turning to the woman as she approached from her right, Saya, sighed while moving aside for Mei to sit beside her.

"Ever since Kohta sat on this thing it's been on the frits, and now I cant even find the channel Takashi's on, only the ambling of some guy high out of his mind" giving the radio a tired glare, Mei looking up to speak before she perked up at seeing the two men of the hour, covered in blood and escorted by soldiers at a leisure pace with Hazmat soldiers guiding them to the quarantine zone of the Base.

"We have luck, look" pointing to Takashi and Ryuji, Saya perked up in confusion before her eyes widened at the sight of-

"TAKASHI!" making the teen stop and look around for the voice, he spotted her waving to him with a smile blooming on his face as he waved back.

"SAYA, I'LL FIND YOU AFTER WE GET THROUGH THIS CLEAN UP!" getting a nod from the girl, Takashi and Ryuji followed the soldiers with Saya sagging in relief.

"You had nothing to worry about after all" Giving a nod, Saya frowned suddenly at registering how bloodied Takashi and Ryuji were.

"Yeah, but those two were showered in blood" getting a frown at her words, Mei looked after the soldiers before standing up to find Majima.
