Samantha Carter, leader of SGC arrives home after a gruesome day at work. She just wants to take a shower and sleep. Food is not even required. And she wants Jack. They are finally living together in the Springs, he is retired, taking care of their home, enjoying his retirement and her. Not by that order necessarily. And she is secretly happy to come back home and have him there.

A short, tender story about a shared moment between Jack and Sam in a difficult time in Sam's life when crying is a way her eyes speak when her mouth can't explain how broken her heart is.
