Chapter 3: Against the pirates of Buggy and Nami, the thieving cat. (Part 1)
After watching Luffy beat Morgan and get his first crew member, Olympus headed to a new location.
Demeter and Athena gather everyone in the throne room to talk about the Devil Fruits.

Junior moves his head from one side to the other for a few seconds.- "Mmm... Well, if memory doesn't fail, I'll say about 183."
How many!? That was the generalized thinking of the Olympic teenagers, who in their surprise yelled it out without realizing it. On the other hand, the gods are relieved.
"Uff, I thought there would be thousands. They are not a problem." Hades says confidently.
"Although, they can be very interesting hunting trophies." Artemis speaks, with her bow at the ready.
"Ha, and to think that we were scared by mortals." -the supreme god laughed, when Themis kicked the ground attracting everyone's attention.

"I don't think you're aware of the danger they pose, Zeus." -said the former goddess of justice, serious.
"She is right, brother." -second Poseidon. - "It doesn't depend on the number of these consumers, right?"
"I expected no less from the God of the Seas, that's right." -Junior continues. - "Normally one of the factors is the one that touches you, but the others are more decisive: the power and potential of a devil fruit depends largely on the skills and creativity of its consumer. -Zoan: Consumers of this type acquire the ability to transform into an animal (or only have the characteristics of said animal). The consumer can also transform into a human-animal hybrid form or a two-animal hybrid form. The properties of zoan-type fruits can also be transferred to objects such as cannons or swords. There are zoan-type fruits not only based on common animals but also on prehistoric animals such as dinosaurs and mythical animals.
-Logia: It is the rarest of the three types, the loggia-type devil fruits grant their consumers the ability to transform into an element, whether they are solid elements such as sand or ice, liquid elements such as mud or magma, gaseous elements such as smoke or gas, energy such as electricity or the materialization of more abstract concepts such as darkness. This makes them intangible by causing physical attacks to pass through them or allowing them to absorb the attack completely. "I want one of those things!" cries Clarisse, excited.
"But how could such a thing exist!? If one of the gods ate such a thing, along with its powers, it would be a catastrophe!" Grover yelled, maddened.
"It's crazy, if one of the titans ate one of those things..." - Hera began, scared of such a situation that, however, Junior was quick to stop.
"Whao, whao, whao! Stop, boss! It's not that simple. Like everything, these fruits have weak points."
"As which?" Zeus asks him, with a hint of fear.

At that moment, Poseidon and Amphitrite were very interested, as was Percy.

"So what is this Buggy like?" asks Hecate.
"Well, when I met him, he was a despicable, a complete wretch, a cheap pirate, a braggart, a clown... Although his pirate name is "Buggy the Clown" so, well ... But I admit that he been getting affection."
"Wow then, will we see Luffy beat him up?" asks Tyson.
"Yep."
"So what are we waiting for? Let's have fun!" exclaims Clarisse.
Olympus settled over Orange City, the base of the Buggy Pirates.
"This is the tavern where the pirates gather." The young woman explains that Hermes helped in Shell Town.
"Oh, it's her."
"What is she doing here?" - Hades wonders.
Nami ties up Luffy explaining that it was a plan to trick Buggy. After being tied up, Luffy simply followed her.
Among the round of face palms there was a certain goddess quite annoyed with her bow at the ready, even though she can't do anything to it.
"Oh my gosh, Straw Hat, couldn't you at least think that was a bit suspicious?!" Artemis complained. - "Even for a man you are a disgrace!"
"'Straw Hat'? Why did you choose that name?" -Asks Apollo.
"Well, because of Shanks's hat."
"Hehe. How curious." -Junior laughs. - "That is precisely his epithet. Not bad, Artemis-chan."
"I know... Wait,"chan"?"
Well, you'd rather look like an 8-year-old, so... Well, if you don't like it, I'll stop saying it. "
"No, I... I like it." -said the goddess with a smile. However, this did not go unnoticed by his twin.

"Please, let's focus." Themis asks, grabbing the goddess of the hunt.
A man with blue hair and a red nose was angry when told that the thief had escaped while his henchmen trembled in fear, but the henchmen were saved from a striking death when Nami arrived and claimed that Luffy was the thief, and returned his record.
Although he appreciates it, that man asked him why he had changed his mind. She lied that she and her 'boss' had a fight and now she wants to join Buggy's crew.
"That ... isn't the worst plan ever, but didn't you say you hate pirates?" Grover said.
"His treasure, you idiot! He wants the treasure they have!" Clarisse yelled at him.
"Did you have to be so nasty?" Thalia asks her.
"If they don't find out, yes!"
"Buggy the Clown, captain of the Buggy Pirates."

"Apparently, yes. But it's amazing that he has a nose like that." -Comments his wife.
"Just so you know, he's very sensitive about his nose." Junior says dryly.
"Gyahahahaha! You returned the map, betrayed your boss, and joined another crew! How funny!"
Nami smiles at him, however it is a ruse.
"Nami. The pirate thief."
"(Pirates are so manipulative. Getting this treasure is going to be a piece of cake!")
"Well said!" shouts Artemis proudly. - "I'm already liking her."
"Let's be clear: Cheating Buggy isn't very complicated either. In fact, it's not!" Junior says.

"Ok, Nami... -Buggy starts, confident. -" Get rid of your old boss with the Buggy Balls and pledge your allegiance to me!
"Oh shit." Percy blurts out.
"Maybe it won't affect him, like bullets." Tyson was full of hope, but he had his doubts.
Nami tried to ignore him saying they were at a party, but Buggy claimed this is her style, handing her the matches. Nami struggled to choose as the minions sang for fire.
After the eye catches, Nami and Luffy looked at each other, listening to each other's demands until Luffy said: "What's wrong? Your hands are shaking! That's what happens when you face pirates with a half resolution".
"...Ready? Does that mean killing for you? Is that what a pirate is prepared for?" Nami asks Luffy, confused by this.
However Luffy replies: "No, for risk his own life."
"So manly..." Apollo whispered as the teens were stunned by Luffy's words.
"What about them giving advice when they are in danger?" Annabeht sighed.
Nami never made her decision as a random pirate tried to turn it on for her, but as quickly as possible, Nami built her staff under her skirt and knocked the man unconscious.

"What are you doing, Nami?" Shouts Buggy angrily.
Luffy was confused by Nami trying to save him, but Nami claimed that she only did it for the situation, not wanting to be like the pirates who killed someone dear to her.
"Oh, by Rhea." Hestia said regretfully.
"What happened to her?" asked Amphitrite, sadly.
Luffy screamed in shock when he realized that the cannon was on. The pirates lunged after Nami.
Nami tried to hit them, but they jumped up, attacked her staff, and took it from her. He ran towards the canyon, dodging the pirates as Luffy screamed for water. Before the wick shortened, Nami grabbed it with both hands, screaming in pain.
Gods and demigods cringed in horror, mentally feeling their pain.
"Miss Nami!" Tyson yelled in concern as he watched the wick finally stop burning.

Luffy yelled a warning as the pirates leapt towards her from behind, but just in time, she was saved when a certain green-haired swordsman blocks them with their sheathed swords.
"How many pirates does it take to take care of just one girl?" -Zoro says disappointed.
Courage and Strength - One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST [44]
"Zoro!" Tyson and Clarisse shouted with joy, like Luffy, when they saw the swordsman, while the rest smiled.
"Wow, but it's Roronoa Zoro. Are you coming to hunt me?" -Speak the red-nosed pirate. "
Zoro said no, saying that he had left the pirate hunt behind. Still, Buggy was interested in killing Zoro himself to increase his name, which Zoro reluctantly agrees to fight.
"Ha, Clown Nose won't make it." Ares smiled. - "He looks too much like me for that to happen."
The minions chanted Buggy's name as he and Zoro prepared for this battle.
Buggy charged after him while Zoro remained in place.
Zoro slashed Buggy across his stomach and arm. Nami turned around, but her henchmen smiled at the stung Buggy. Just as Zoro sheathed his swords, Buggy fell to the ground while Zoro said he had no resistance.

Luffy, Nami, and Zoro were in shock, but noticed that the minions were laughing, even though their captain had been killed.
"Okay, why are they laughing?" Asks the god of war, puzzled.
"I know Ares likes bloody battles, but this..." -said his sister.
"Eh... Hello? Has anyone else noticed that they are bleeding?" -Dionysus speaks, with a can of Coca Cola in his hand.
At that moment, Buggy's upper half suddenly sprouted out like a ghost and stabbed Zoro from behind. Nami and Luffy yelled, surprised by the arm holding the knife to Zoro's wound.
The gods and demigods added to the surprise of Luffy and company, until Athena connected the dots: "A Devil Fruit."
"The Bara Bara no Mi... That's the Akuma no Mi that I ate!" Buggy yells confidently. "Gives the ability to turn a person into an uncut human."
"Is that why they were laughing? I thought they were being a bunch of psychopaths." -said Percy
"Who cares? Let's go get him." Thalia said.
"My daughter, you know we can't do anything." Zeus spoke, dramatically.
Buggy's henchmen cheered for their captain when the three of them knew they were in trouble, but at that moment, Luffy had to yell, "Stabbing him from behind is unfair, Big Nose!" This has caused everyone to go silent.
"I don't know why I have to keep being surprised by Luffy's stupidity." Annabeth sighed when there was another round of clapping to her face.
"Let's see, he is not lacking in courage, but what it is to use your head ..." -said her mother.
Then Luffy calls Zoro, telling him to run and he prepares, when Nami asks him what they are up to.
A Worthy Thief - One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST [17]
"Hey, turn it on." - Zoro says to Nami.
Zoro ran towards the cannon, and raised the cannon from the cannon with all his might, making it point towards Buggy and his crew.
"Oh, this is going to be good!" -Ares's daughter speaks, excited.
"He is strong, but not as strong as Heracles." Zeus answers, much to Hera's chagrin.
Nami turned it on at Zoro's command as the pirates panicked.
"Body to ground!" Buggy yelled.
The force of the explosion made Luffy out of his cage, escaping the Buggy Pirates.
"I think the term for this is 'Fire!'"
"And say it man," says Clarisse, enthusiastically.
"This is going to be a show!" shouts Zeus, animated again.
Even though he was injured, Zoro carried Luffy and his cage while Nami was in shock.
"I have to admited, that was a big blast. Why did it have to be from the damn clown?" Ares let out a disappointed sigh.
Zoro asked who he was and Luffy claimed Nami as his navigator. Nami asked who they were as Zoro struggled to move the cage, blood pouring from his wound.
Both demigods and Olympians shuddered at the blood as Artemis seemed a bit curious about a man in a lion's suit.
"What a strange mortal. Well, everyone we've seen is very outrageous too."
As Nami watched Zoro carry the heavy cage, Nami was surprised that Zoro got so far for Luffy, even though they were pirates.
"Well, they are unique." Annabeth spoke.
Buggy was still alive, considering what those three did as an act of war.
A green and purple lion with menacing red eyes came out of the smoke. He grunted when Buggy was glad to see Mohji. Out of the smoke, a white-bearded man appeared, asking about Zoro's head, which Buggy happily allowed him to take.
For some reason, when the lion appeared, Artemis began to have an intense hatred for him, and it was surprisingly above her well-known hatred of the male sex. This confused his brother and father very much.
"Artemis, are you okay?" Zeus asks him.
"Y-Yeah, it's just that I can't see that beast near me... It's not even worth hunting."
"Wow, that's new, coming from you." -answers Aphrodite, the one that the goddess of the hunt only rolls her eyes.
After dragging Luffy's cage from the stairs, Zoro stopped and fell to the ground exhausted. Right in front of them was a little white dog.
Thaila perked up at the sight of the dog as Tyson gasped, "He's adorable!"
"I guess it is cute." Annabeth said, smiling slightly.
Zoro wondered what was wrong with that dog. Luffy excitedly moved his cage towards the dog, then started to grimace at it, but the dog didn't move.
"I don't think that's a good idea, rubber boy." -Hera speaks, with some annoyance.
"Wait, queen of the gods. You can't miss this." Junior says with one of his characteristic smiles.
Zoro leaned against the post to rest, not caring about the dog while Luffy wondered if he was dead, so he punched him in the face, effectively causing the dog to bite his face.
Most of the demigods laughed at Luffy's misfortune and Zoro's reaction as Thaila worried about the dog. Then Hera and Zeus start laughing uncontrollably.
"Hahahahahahahaha! I warned you, stupid boy!" Hera laughs.
"Hahaha, well done, dog! I liked you!"
"You two are idiots." Junior says to be beaten by the two gods.
"Be careful what you say, you know how they are." Persy spoke to him covertly.
The dog stopped when Zoro fell to the ground. Nami finally reached out and gave Luffy the key, as he helped her. Luffy was glad he did that for him, but claimed that he didn't want to owe him anything.
However, before Luffy could grab the key, the dog ate the entire key, much to Luffy, Zoro, and Nami's surprise.
Hestia screamed, horrified when Luffy strangles the dog for the key. As Apollo and Hades comfort her, Hecate yelled, "Luffy, no! Don't kill the dog!"
Ares snickered. "Well... it looks funny..."
"Not cool, man." Percy replies, who shakes his head.
Luffy finally stopped when a man with poodle hair approached and told them to stop bullying the dog Chouchou.
They looked at the man in armor, who claimed to be the mayor of this town. Then he noticed Zoro's wound, knowing it was coming from Buggy.
Later, the mayor told them that Zoro needed to see a doctor, although the swordsman said he could sleep.
"Roronoa Zoro, that is not a proper medical procedure!" Athena yelled at him, incredulous.
"Yeah, you were amazing back there, I admit it, mortal, but it looks like a pretty serious wound." Poseidon made a slight face.
"Stop the nonsense, he is a warrior!" the God of War speaks, impressed by his fighting spirit.
"He's great... Not as close as Chris, but he comes close to it." thinks Clarisse.

Chouchou yawned and Nami patted his head as Luffy wondered why he sat here all day.
The mayor told them that he was taking care of the pet food store and that the owner was a friend of his, so the mayor feeds Chouchou instead. The owner passed away three months ago from illness. Everyone else thought that Chouchou was waiting for his master, but since Chouchou is an intelligent dog, the mayor believed that he already knew, protecting his treasure no matter what.
Some gods were surprised by such resolution and more coming from an animal, while some demigods had tears in their eyes.
"No ... It's not a sad dog story!" Tyson cried with his brother by his side.
"That dog is very good." Annabeth said with tears in her eyes.
"Pan would be proud of you, little one." Groover said, proud of Chouchou and happy to know that humans still take care of animals.
Chouchou brought his plate to the mayor, but the plate shook and, in the distance, the roar of a lion was heard. The mayor claimed that it is Beast Tamer Mohji coming towards them, fleeing with Nami behind him, leaving Luffy and Chouchou behind.
A lion stomped in as Luffy asked the dog for the key, but was soon face to face with the beast tamer. Luffy asked who he was and the man introduced himself as Beast Tamer Mohji, a member of the Buggy Pirates. Luffy said that his costume was strange, but Mohji claimed that this is his hair, which is more strange to Luffy.
"So I guess he doesn't have a Devil Fruit." - Guessed the goddess of wisdom.
"I'm pretty sure it's just a guy in a fur suit." Dionysus spoke, disinterestedly.
"And that suit...! Because of the Tartarus, it's horrible! The colors don't stick at all! And its old..." Aphrodite criticized, when her rival stopped her.
"Are you seriously worried about THAT?"
"If you're going to be a pirate, at least do it with class."
"You are very superficial..." Athena sighed, earning a nod from Artemis.
When Chouchou growled at him, Mohji claimed that there is no animal in the world that he cannot tame. He tried to tame Chouchou, only for the dog to bite his hand.
Thalia snorted. "What, too much for you?"
Later, Mohji demanded that Luffy tell him where Zoro is since he is not interested in the boy in the straw hat, but of course, Luffy refused to Mohji. The beast tamer made his lion, Richie, follow Luffy, causing Luffy to escape from his cage.
With one blow, Richie threw Luffy into a house, causing Mohji to believe that Luffy died instantly.
Then Mohji noticed the pet food store.
"Ha! Luffy won't die so easily." Clarisse affirmed happily, but noticed the concern on everyone's faces.
Then he realized that Mohji was behind the store and there was no way Chouchou would let him get close.
With Luffy, he was on the ground, surrounded by rubble, and since he is out, he will defeat the Buggy Pirates and have Nami as his navigator. Speaking of Nami, she and the mayor were surprised that Luffy was alive somehow since... well, being fine after flying around the houses is not normal. The mayor asked why he was here and Luffy's answer is that he wants that map and a navigator.
"Huh, I guess Nami didn't see his power before." Said the goddess of the calm seas and wife of Poseidon.
There was a roar in the air as Richie destroyed the store sign. Chouchou was thrown backwards, little streams of blood coming out.
Interspersed with Chouchou's desperation to defend his treasure were memories of his time with his owner. Those sweet little memories, like Chouchou trying to help or sharing a meal, were in stark contrast to scenes where Chouchou was beaten until he ended up with blood splattering against a sign as Chouchou let out a squeak of pain.
Sobbing and crying could be heard from the audience, especially from Hestia, who was already wearing several handkerchiefs.
"Fuck you, Mohji." Thalia snorted, wiping a tear away. "Just fuck off."
After the eye catches, they came across the pet food store on fire, as Chouchou could only bark at the destruction.
"Oh, now you're burning it!? Alright, you've already pissed me off!" Clarisse yelled, spear ready to go after the beast tamer.
"Not now. We are having an emotional moment here." -said Athena's daughter, barely controlling herself.
Luffy stared at Chouchou howling with an intense gaze.
With Mohji and Richie, Mohji complained about Chouchou biting his arm while Richie had a box of dog food in his mouth, but Luffy soon stopped them. Richie jumped after him, but Luffy twisted his arms and grabbed the lion.
"GOMU GOMU NO... TSUCHI!"
When Luffy jumped on Richie, Luffy uncoiled his arms, sending Richie to the ground, much to Mohji's horror. Mohji asked what he was and Luffy replied that he ate a devil fruit. Realizing he was in trouble, Mohji tried to apologize, but Luffy couldn't forgive him for destroying Chouchou's treasure, so he will kick his butt. Luffy stretched out his arm, grabbing Mohji's neck and knocking him to the ground.
While Hecate felt bad for Richie, Apollo exclaimed with teary eyes, "Take revenge on a friend ... So manly ..."
In the pet food store there was nothing but rubble, Nami looked at the silent dog, still believing that all pirates are the same. When Nami saw Luffy, she taunted him for being a pirate and tried to attack him, but the mayor stopped her. Luffy wasn't too angry, knowing that Nami couldn't kill him. Instead, he approached Chouchou and gave him the box of dog food; the last piece of Chouchou's treasure. It was then that Nami realized that Luffy might be different when Chouchou took the box away, but before leaving, he and Luffy said their goodbyes.
When calm returned to Hecate and Hestia, Apollo said, "See? Straw Hat is not like the other pirates. You don't need to try to kill him."
"It's not like Nami has met other really nice pirates though." Hades said, thinking about what Nami had said about pirates taking someone dear to her.
Buggy was surprised when Mohji returned, beaten. At first, Buggy thought it was Zoro who attacked him, but Mohji told him it was from that Straw Hat. Before Mohji could tell him about his Devil Fruit, he passed out.
Then Buggy told his crew to prepare all the Buggy Balls.
"So he doesn't know." Poseidon smiled slightly as Hephaestus was amazed and at the same time complained about the name 'Buggy Balls'.
Nami apologized for what happened earlier, but Luffy was fine with that, knowing that she went through a lot.
"What a great boy." -thought Hermes, happy to see the rubber boy.- "I wish you had been in Camp Half-Blood, boy. You would have changed a lot of things. Luke, among others."
The mayor realized that he should be doing more for the city, especially since Luffy and Chouchou went through so much. Nami tried to calm him down, but the city has been his treasure and that of the citizens since it was built. Then a Buggy Ball exploded, to the mayor's surprise. One of those houses was the mayor's.
"Damn it, Buggy! How many treasures must you take from them?!" Tyson shook his fist in the air in anger.
"Do you think Zoro was in one of those houses?" Groover wondered.
Just when Luffy realized that, everyone's eyes widened: surprisingly, Zoro was still alive, he just woke up from the explosion when he emerged from the rubble.
"What is this mortal made of !? It makes Heracles just a tough guy." Zeus stared at the swordsman in disbelief, earning a scowl from his wife.
"I call shit! He should be dead!" Ares yelled.
"I guess the house took most of the hit," Percy theorized. "It's not like the explosion disintegrated everything."
"Shut up, you bastard!"
Now, the mayor was even more determined to fight Buggy. Nami tried to stop him, but Luffy encouraged him. Although Nami knows that this is dangerous, so did the mayor while running. Since Luffy likes the old man, he will protect him with Zoro by his side, even though Nami knew that Zoro was still injured. Still, Zoro is willing to fight, believing that the wound to name is worse than the one on his stomach.
"Roronoa Zoro ..." Athena sighed, shaking her head. "You better heal after this."
Luffy wanted the Grand Line map and for Nami to join his crew, but Nami still refused and yet she is willing to join for now. While Buggy and his crew prepared the second Buggy Ball, the mayor came to fight, calling himself "Major Boodle". When Boodle called the city his treasure, Buggy laughed and said that the treasures were jewels and gold. Buggy lifted the man by the neck, wondering if he should kill him. Boodle did not back down, willing to die for his city.
Before the cannon could fire, Buggy was surprised to see Luffy detach his floating hand from the mayor.

As you already know, I am the captain of the 5th Division of the Dragon King Pirates and currently the leader of the Olympians (Yes, the bastards of Olympus.) And Percy and his colleagues.
