Chapter 13. Goodbye Baratie. The Shichibukai members.
Luffy was shown, sitting on a cot with bandages and band-aids, one of which was hanging from his nose.
"Ugggh…" Luffy groaned as he tugged at the Band-Aid, then reached up to scratch his head, only to gasp when he didn't feel his hat. "AAH! MY HAT! WHERE IS MY HAAAAAAAAAAAT?!"
"It's right there!" Sanji replied as he pointed to the nightstand, where Luffy's hat was. "Take it easy."
"Oh there it is," Luffy said relieved as he put it on his head.
"Whose room is this?" Hestia asked.
"I guess it's Sanji's," Junior answered.
"So, did you have a good nap?" Sanji asked Luffy, who stretched out his arms and yawned.
"Yes," Luffy replied. "I feel better…so what happened to Krieg and the other guys?"
"It's gone, now," Sanji answered, "thanks to you."
"Ah," Luffy replied when Sanji told him what happened after he passed out. Apparently, Krieg tried to keep fighting, even though he was clearly insane, so Gin, while still suffering from the effects of MH5, punched Krieg in the stomach, knocking him unconscious. He then piled his remaining crewmates into a boat and decided that they should start over from scratch. As Gin was about to leave, he told Sanji how he admired Luffy for his courage in facing Krieg, despite being at a disadvantage, and also praised Baratie's staff for his courage in fighting for Gin and protect his restaurant.
"He told me... 'See you at the Grand Line,'" Sanji said.
"Oh!" Luffy exclaimed. "Did he say he'd see you there?"
"NO!" Sanji barked. "He meant you, idiot!"
"The truth, I hope to hear from him in the future, I liked him." I speak Ares.
"Right. He's a man of honour, or at least, he didn't want to fight Sanji because of the charity he showed him. Very admirable thing." Zeus said proudly, something many gods agreed on.
"Oh," Luffy realized before smiling. "Oh yeah! I just remembered, I'm not a housework guy anymore, since I defeated those pirates, right? The old man and I made a deal!"
"Yes, it is," Sanji said. "You're out of danger."
"Luckily... I haven't seen a more disastrous mortal with housework." Dionysus said.
"So... my offer still stands," Luffy replied. "Will you join me or what?"
Sanji sighed and shook his head.
"How many times do I have to say it, man?" he asked. "I will not join your crew, no matter what you say. I will stay here until that idiot recognizes my cooking skills and that's it."
A pause... before Luffy sighed.
"Fine," he murmured. "I give up..."
'NO.'
"That means let go!" Sanji cried when Luffy reached out and grabbed him by the back of his jacket collar, strangling him as he did so.
"How persistent of him," Athena joked.
"Yes, you already know Luffy, mother," Annabeth said, a little amused. "I never took 'no' for an answer."
"I know, right?" Percy asked with a smile.
"...Look," Sanji said. "I can't just get up and leave, okay? These idiots don't know anything about running a restaurant."
"Hmm…" Luffy hummed as he sat on the railing.
"But someday," Sanji began, "I'll go to the Grand Line."
"Then just come with us, now!" Luffy exclaimed.
"I can't," Sanji argued. "It's just not the right time, don't you understand?"
"...I guess so," Luffy replied.
"Surely he was determined to keep you there, wasn't he?" Hades asked.
"Believe me, he was," Junior responded. "But come on, you are too."
Some of them nervously rubbed their heads and others whistled. Themis laughs a little.
"...Oi!" Sanji smiled. "Have you ever heard of this place called All Blue?"
"No," Luffy replied.
"Are you kidding me!" Sanji exclaimed. "That place is a cook's paradise! It has fish from North Blue, South Blue, East Blue and West Blue, and they say it's somewhere on the Grand Line!"
"In fact?!" Luffy asked. "Wow!"
"Doesn't that look incredible?" Poseidon said, full of enthusiasm. "I can't wait to go down there and test my fishing rod skills!"
"I'm still looking for it," Sanji began, "but I know it's out there somewhere...and when I do, I'll make so many dishes out of all the fish I find there, it'll blow your mind!"
"Sounds delicious!" Hestia exclaimed. "I can not wait!"
Grrrruuuuuuuuuurrrmmmbgh! The visitors looked up to see Luffy put his hand on his stomach, which he growled quite loudly.
"Ugh..." Luffy groaned. "I'm starving. Fighting Don Krieg made me hungry."
"Man...that was loud," Sanji muttered in surprise. "Well, I'm about to start preparing lunch soon. Come on, let's eat."
"Yes, food!" Luffy cheered. Soon, the memory changed, and Luffy and Sanji were in the employee dining room with the rest of the staff. Unfortunately the tables were all taken so they had to sit on the floor to eat. Luffy noticed that the cooks were acting a bit strange, but Sanji assured him that there was nothing to worry about.
"Hey!" Patty yelled. "Who the hell made the soup today?!"
"Oh, that was me!" Sanji replied. "Pretty good, huh? I think I really outdid myself this time!"
"It's a joke?!" Patty asked. "Tastes like shit!" He then she threw the bowl of soup on the floor. "I wouldn't even give this to a dog!"
"How did you say?!" Hestia exclaimed. "That soup smelled like ambrosia!"
"I also!" added Demeter.
Luffy just sat quietly, eating his food while Sanji growled in anger.
"Excuse me?" Sanji asked. "Maybe you really don't know what human food tastes like, pig!"
"Yes of course!" Patty replied. "It takes a lot of talent to taste something so disgusting! Just smelling it makes me sick! What did you do, put your dirty socks in here?!"
"Finally, some people with sense…" Dionysus joked, only to be silenced by the questioning look of his aunts. Seriously, they were scarier than Hades.
"Hey, that's not fair!" Tyson exclaimed. "Mr. Sanji worked really hard on that!"
"Blech!" Gagged Carne. "This is disgusting!"
"Yes!" another cook agreed as he and several others spilled the soup on the floor and went on to say how disgusting he tasted, much to Sanji's growing agitation, as well as Demeter and Hestia's growing anger. The final straw, however, came when Zeff decided to say the part about him, and when Sanji responded, instead of kicking him with his peg leg...he punched him in the face.
"Oh!" Clarisse winced. "That had to hurt!"
"Why did Zeff hit him?" Grover asked.
"He was trying to gain some common sense. I didn't want him to waste Sanji's dream by staying there at the Baratie. I mean... what if someone found All Blue before him? He would have wasted his life for nothing." Athena explained.
"...Zeff was really looking out for him," Thalia smiled.
"Of course".
"Rrrrgh... FUCK YOU PEOPLE!" Sanji cursed as he walked out. However, once he did, the gods and demigods could hear the sound of Luffy, sipping his soup from him.
"Mmm yummy!" he exclaimed. "I don't know what all the fuss is about! This soup tastes amazing!"
"Of course it's good," replied one of the cooks.
"Man, that was really scary," another of the cooks said. "Speaking of hot temper!"
"We all know Sanji is a great chef," Zeff said, "but if we don't do something like this, he just won't notice!"
Hestia then walks over to Luffy and sniffs a bit of the soup Sanji made. At that moment she knew that Sanji was not a talented cook. Practically, he was a candidate to be a Cook God; The seasoning, the temperature, perfect, the cooking time... she knew then who was going to be her champion.
Zeff then looked at Luffy. "Hey boy...listen...can you take Sanji to the Grand Line with you? That's where his dream is supposed to be."
"Go with the old man." I speak Dionysus. "He's tough, but he cares about him."
'If only that idiot would learn from him...' Ares thought referring to Zeus, who snorts knowing his son's thoughts.
"Take Sanji with me?" Luffy replied. "...No way."
"HUUUUUUUUUUUUUH?!" both the Baratie staff and the Olympic visitors asked in disbelief.
"But I thought you said you needed a cook in your crew," Zeff said. "Not good enough for you, or something?"
"Luffy, you can't think that, can you? It's perfect for your crew." I beseech you the Goddess of the Hearth.
"It's not that," Luffy replied as he continued to eat. "I'd love to take Sanji and all, but I can't make him come with me if he doesn't want to go, and you guys can't really decide that for him. It's his decision."
"...Now I understand." Demeter whispered. "Straw Hat wants Sanji to respect his freedom, so now he doesn't want to take him away."
"You're right. After all, he values freedom above all else." Poseidon noticed.
"Basically, Luffy feels it's better for Sanji to make the decision himself," Athena said, crossing her arms, "not let others decide for him."
"So you're saying you won't take Sanji unless he agrees to go?" Zeff asked.
"Yes!" Luffy answered as he held the plate from him. "Hey, can I have more?"
"...I guess that's fair," Zeff said. "But who knows if he'll ever agree?"
"Something tells me that won't be a problem," Zeus began, "if that rubber boy is smart, he'll take it."
Just then, they heard a loud scream coming from outside, and not long after, something came through the wall, revealing it to be a large pan shark... with Yosaku sticking out of its mouth.
"Mr Yosaku!" Tyson yelled.
"What happened to him?!" Clarisse asked.
"Oh, he was trying to chase after Nami." Junior replied without further ado.
"Hmph, for me as if that ungrateful child is going to the end of the world." Hera snorted angrily.
"And now what's the matter with you, great spoiled queen?" Junior replies.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SPOILED, INSOLENT!?"
"You, asshole! I'm fed up with your despotic evil stepmother attitude!"
"Say just one more word and-"
"Silence both of you!" I speak the supreme lord of the gods, exhausted. "I'm tired of this. I won't allow any complaints from anyone!"
"But, Zeus-!"
"I said 'no complaints'. Is that clear, Hera?"
Hera looks away in defeat, while Junior rolls his eyes.
"Yosaku!" Luffy yelled as he ran over and pulled Yosaku out of the shark's mouth. "Hey, are you okay? Talk to me, man!"
"Ugh... B-Big Brother Luffy...!" Yosaku growled.
"What happened?!" Luffy asked. "Why are you alone?! Where are Zoro and the others? And Nami?!"
After some time, they managed to wrap Yosaku in a blanket and give him a hot meal.
"We couldn't catch Big Sis Nami," Yosaku said, "but we could tell from the ship's awakening that we knew where she was headed."
"You did it?" Luffy asked. "Well, let's go find her then!"
"You don't understand," Yosaku replied. "If we're right...she's gone to an unbelievable place!"
For some reason, Hera felt her body tense and she shivered slightly, which Themis noticed her and put her hand on her shoulder, causing the queen to smile confidently.
"Anyway, I'll tell you the details later!" Yosaku said. "We need your help, big brother Luffy! You have to come with me!"
"Of course!" Luffy nodded. "But... I don't get it... actually, no, I think I do! Let's move on!"
"Hold!"
"Hey?" Luffy muttered as he turned to see Sanji, who was leaning against a wall.
"I'm coming with you," he said, to everyone's surprise.
"You... you are?" Luffy asked.
"I might as well, right?" Sanji asked. "I mean… King of the Pirates… All Blue… they both sound like pretty silly dreams… so I might as well chase mine with you. a deal or what?"
"Hell yeah!" Luffy exclaimed. "YAHOO!"
"This is great, Big Brother Luffy!" Yosaku cheered as he and Luffy began to celebrate. Shortly after, Luffy and Yosaku are boarding a shopping ship. Now, they were just waiting for Sanji... and sure enough, he soon walked out with a backpack slung over his shoulder.
"...You know, this almost feels like an initiation rite ceremony," Hades said.
"You think?" Anfetite asked as he watched Sanji walk towards Luffy and Yosaku, even as Baratie's staff looked at him bitterly. Patty and Carne tried to give him a "last minute revenge hit" by hitting him with giant spoons, but they were easily dealt with.
"Well," Sanji said as he tossed his bag into the boat, "let's go."
"You mean you don't want to say goodbye before we leave?" Luffy asked.
"Nah," Sanji replied as he prepared to board the ship.
"But that... That doesn't feel right..." Tyson spoke up, with Annabeth nodding.
"You know, boy, sometimes saying nothing is best. For some, it can be hard to leave it all behind. That's why it's best to move on." Hephaestus spoke to him, trying to cheer up the cyclops, to everyone's surprise.
"OBJECTION!" shouted Junior, dressed in a blue suit and pink tie. "Your Honors, I'm afraid I must protest that statement!"
"Now what's wrong with you? By the way, I like that suit." Zeus told him with a smile.
"Sanji!" Zeff called from the upper deck, causing Sanji to stop in his tracks. "Take care, do you hear me? Don't catch a cold."
"Heh. Three, two, one..."
A pause… but then Sanji's visible eye began to fill with tears and his lip trembled as Luffy smiled.
"...CHEF ZEEEEEEEEEEEFF!" Sanji sobbed as he rolled over and dropped to his hands and knees. "THANK YOU SO MUCH, OLD MAN! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE THINGS YOU DID FOR ME! THANK YOU!"
It seemed that the Baratie staff shared his sentiment as well, as they too had burst into tears. Even Zeff was crying silently.
"Moron!" Patty sobbed. "WE'RE GOING TO MISS YOU, DAMN YOU!"
"YES, WHAT HE SAID!" Meat yelled. "TAKE CARE, SANJI!"
"WE WILL MISS YOU SANJI!" the cooks shouted. "BYE!"
Sanji sobbed before smiling at the people he had worked with for so long.
"SO SO MUCH, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!" he called him. "I WILL MISS YOU SUMBAGS!"
And with that, he, Luffy, and Yosaku set sail, leaving the Baratie behind.
Zeff continued to look in the direction Sanji left, taking a close look at the Olympians and, more importantly, Hestia.
'So you are a goddess... And also, a goddess of the cook. So, I ask you... Take care of that idiot; his dream is the culmination of every cook on these seas.'
Later...
"Well, I guess now we'll have answers with that young lady, right, Junior?" Poseidon asked impatiently.
"Yeah, I'm with my dad. Ever since we saw that purple guy's Wanted poster, you've been pretty quiet. I mean, on that subject." Percy tells him.
Junior sighs, annoyed.
"Don't worry, you'll understand everything in due time. Calm down for now."
At that moment, he saw Luffy, Sanji, and Yosaku on their shopping boat. However, for some reason, they were being dragged along by a giant sea cow.
"...I've had too much to drink." Dionysus said, mirroring everyone's thoughts.
"That's... a sea cow... right?" Athena deadpanned.
"It's Mohmoo!" Junior exclaimed.
"Moh-who?" Thalia asked.
"Mohmoo is the mascot of the Arlong Pirates," Themis said happily. "Actually, he is a very good creature."
"Honestly... I think she's cute!" the goddess of love runs to see Mohmoo, changing her appearance to that of a 7-year-old girl. "He's gorgeous!"
"What I want to know is why he is pulling his boat." Hera asked, tired of the usual antics.
"Simple, because Luffy and Sanji beat him up," Junior answered casually. "Sanji was just trying to feed the thing at first, but apparently, he wanted to eat the food as well as them."
"Seriously, this creature did not deserve such a fate." Artemis spoke, appearing from the poor animal. "I feel a good and noble heart coming from him. Even though you're my fiancé, Luffy, you've gone too far!"
"Well, while we get to where Nami is, I'll tell you a bit more about the Shichibukai."
At that time he had caught everyone's attention.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST - BAD PREMONITION
"As you know, they are a group of pirates who are hired by the WG to help them rule these seas. Well, there are seven members, each one of them very strong and dangerous. Let me put some pictures for you."
Junior shows seven people, each more skeptical than the last.
"Although it's quite early, it's good that you know what we're going to see and I'll warn you: they're all very peculiar."
He begins by showing Milhawk, passing some matches; showing his great strength and skill.
"No matter how many times I see it, it's impressive." comments the Goddess of Wisdom.
"Certain."
So, Junior shows a tall man with a broad chest and shoulders, muscular arms and legs, and a thick neck. His skin is pale and his hair is dark purple in the anime which is kept neatly slicked back, though in battle several strands of hair tend to fall into his face. His deep, sunken eyes, in conjunction with his fine, slightly upturned eyebrows, cause him to generally adopt a facial expression of skepticism and mistrust. He exhibits several battle scars, among which the one on his face stands out; a long, horizontal one that extends across his face across the bridge of his nose, and that of his left hand, which was amputated and replaced by a large gold hook. Lastly, he is seen smoking a thick cigar produced by his company.
"This is Crocodile, one of the most arrogant Shickibukai there is."
Crocodile's look startled some of the demigods.
"It's scary." Tyson said, as Percy encouraged him.
'He is cunning and intelligent, there is no doubt about that. But there is also a lot of ambition in it.' Annabeth thought, narrowing her eyes at him.
"The guy is also very sure of himself and believe me, he has earned it." the pirate told them. "He's also a very smart asshole, but he's not afraid to get his hands dirty if he sees fit."
Now Themis shows a gigantic person, measuring almost seven meters tall. His general design resembles a giant shallot (similar to an onion). He has two horns protruding from the sides of his forehead and spikes running vertically from the top of his face and down his neck, which is quite long and thick compared to his body. His ears and teeth are pointed, while his lower body is relatively fat and stocky in comparison.
His hair is purple and his skin is a light blue that his lips, bracelets, and the edges of his gloves share in color. His shirt and gloves are black while his pants are bright orange, he also wears a tie, a necklace, and a blue ornament like a crucifix with claw-like appendages sprouting from three cross stitches.
"Kishisishishi! Give me your shadow!"
"Who is this strange mortal?" Demeter asks, feeling a strange sense of familiarity.
"This is Gecko Moria, the tallest of the Sichibukai, at least in height. He is incredibly lazy, his motto is "trust others for one's own sake" and his favorite phrase is "You do!" Apparently, wants to be the new Pirate King and believes that if he has strong subordinates, he can achieve his goal. He is almost always seen smiling like a maniac and only seems to change his expression when something bad happens to him."
"I don't know why, but I feel like we're going to have a lot of resemblances to you, Hades." commented the king of the gods.
Hades rolled his eyes, not being particularly interested in Zeus' gossip, however, he didn't know why but Moria had a look in his eyes that reminded him of Luffy; but it was strange. He could only see pain and sadness coming off that man.
The next one is another man; he was big and stocky as he carries a bible. His hat has bear ears. His jacket has a large design that resembles a reticle or target, like those on firearms. He is about the same size as Gecko Moria. The outward appearance of him makes him look like a bear. His hair and jacket are black. His hat is gray and the spots are dark brown. His Bible cover is also colorful. He even gave off a sense of calm.
Hephaestus suddenly had the irresistible desire to take a look at the pirate's body in peace, although he didn't know why.
"This is Bartholomew Kuma the Tyrant, one of the most "quiet."
The gods even seeing the huge appearance of him, he did not seem as intimidating as the others.
"He may not seem like it, but he is quite a calm and quiet person, saying just the right words."
"As far as I know, he seems to be quite benevolent and holds a more peaceful view of what the Government believes fighting evil means, he even seems to care about the state of the world." Themis commented, which attracted the attention of Zeus and Hades respectively.
"I just realized something; this Kuma resembles Bartholomew Roberts a pirate who actually existed in our world. I say this by his name, his reserved manner and the fact that he is invariably seen with his Bible. He was a well known gentlemanly pirate for his religious obstinacy." Anfetite said as her husband nodded.
The next one was the strangest of those that had come out and immediately gained the favor of the God of the Seas and the Goddess of the Calm Seas, as well as the interest of Percy and astonishment of his friends. He is a blue whale shark fishman with a face that is associated with various Japanese demons such as Oni. His yellow eyebrows and sideburns are clearly the shape of those found on those demons, in addition to a bulbous nose and an angled upturned lower lip, also adding a lightning bolt-shaped scar that can be seen from his left and right sides. it reaches over his left eye. He also possesses two lower conical fangs associated with Oni, as well, the rest of the teeth on the upper and lower rows are almost the same, albeit much smaller. He also has a severe underbite, which leaves room for his huge fangs. He has long, two-tone black hair, with two lengthwise white stripes coming from the roots on his forehead and behind on his back. In addition, he has a bun and strands of hair on his chin with a light green hue. His hands and feet are also webbed, as typical as can be for a fish-man. However, his limbs are somewhat small compared to his enormous girth. His gills (which are pale pink flesh) are located between his shoulders and neck. Under her pale red cloak, she appears to be wearing a traditional Japanese orange dress covered all over with black and white square-shaped patterns with layers of black and white, alternating with each other (starting with the black outline of the hem). and ending with a black square in the center of each and every one of them. He also associates this outfit with a purple scarf like ribbon around his waist.
"Poseidon, Amphetite, allow me to introduce Jinbe, "The Knight of the Sea" or "The First Son of the Sea", as you like."
"I approve" Poseidon said immediately.
"Me too." Anfetite spoke, earning drops of sweat from everyone.
"Of course, of course…" Zeus spoke up, moving away just in time to dodge his brother's trident.
"At least I don't strut around every day, Zeus!"
The two begin to fight, earning blank stares from everyone.
"While those two fight like kids, I take care of Jimbe. He is known as a fishman of great pride and honor. He is known as a pirate who hates other pirates, possibly due to their actions on Fishman Island, such as kidnapping and selling merfolk into his pride, Jinbe seems to put his priorities and principles before his honor and prefers to retreat from an unfinished battle (despite being openly mocked by an opponent) if it is for the greater good. He has great humility regarding his personal strength and position, a trait unique among The Seven Warlords of the Sea." Themis said, with a big smile.
Percy smiled at this Jimbe's description. Although he was very skeptical about the Shichibukai system, there was something in this gyojin that inspired him a lot of confidence, something that his girlfriend noticed and squeezed his hand.
Athena glares at this show of affection. As much as she tried, she didn't know that she had seen her favorite daughter in that offspring of her rival Poseidon.
Junior passed another image and the last man was seen; he wore a white shirt with red stripes, a green belt, and orange pants with white stripes. He also wore pointed black shoes. He was wearing purple sunglasses. But what he was most striking about was the aura he gave off. He was superb, but at the same time, he had great innate charisma. In fact, all the Olympian gods agreed on one thing: this man reminded them in some ways of Zeus.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you who, in my opinion, is the most dangerous of all the Shichibukai, Donquixote Doflamingo." Junior said seriously.
"I'm telling you, it's like it was…" Thalia began.
"A divine demon, isn't it?" Percy said worriedly.
"Well, Prissy and Thalia, I never thought I'd say this. I'm with you two." Clarisse commented with some trepidation.
"Not surprisingly. This man is evil and brutal, in fact, his epithet is 'Heavenly Devil' but he calls his officers 'family' and treats them kindly."
The demigods immediately compared Doflamingo to the gods, and inevitably saw the resemblance all too well.
Junior finally shows the only woman in this monster club.
She has a shapely figure with a voluptuous body. She is very tall and slender, she has long black hair past her waist with some strands of hair framing her face down to her chin, dark blue eyes, and voluminous eyelashes. She wore a revealing red blouse that showed much of her chest and a green kuja symbol sarong that revealed her long, slender legs with red heels, as well as a white cape. She is seen next to a large snake, which has a skull on its head and is usually always smiling.
"It doesn't matter if I kick a kitten, gouge out your eyes, even if I hurt innocent people... The world will always forgive my sins! Why, you ask? Well, because I'm... Beautiful!"
The male gods (including Hephaestus and Hades) had hearts in their eyes with hearts. Even the goddesses were blushing, even Hera seemed to be in love with her appearance. And the demigods were completely in love, regardless of gender or whether they already had a partner.
"Wow, wow, wow! That's what I was looking for!" Aphrodite shouted euphorically. "That is the banner of beauty that I seek to instill in my children; the unbridled arie of love and lust embodied in mortal flesh!"
However, Artemis snapped everyone out of infatuation with her and her ideas of love. In fact it was just because of that.
"YOU...YOU...IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU MY MAN, YOU JUST MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE!" the goddess of the hunt shouted surrounded by the fire of rage.
"Arty, calm down! This is not like you!" Apollo grabs her sister, who was somehow already aiming her bow at the woman.
"That's why I saved it for last. Aww... Anyway, this is Boa Hancock, better known as the "Pirate Empress". As you may have seen, she is very beautiful. At first glance, she seems to be selfish, cruel spoiled, arrogant and will use anything to get her way, justifying it because of her beauty, and thinking she can get away with it because the world will forgive her, she also made it seem like she didn't care much about kuja as she commented Nyon that she didn't care if the island was destroyed as everyone would forgive her for being of her beauty and strength, she is used to seeing men, women, young and old alike, for falling in love with her without repair." Junior explained.
"How true that she is beautiful!" Groover said, almost forgetting about Juniper.
"Yes it's correct." Annabeth commented, trying to forget her, albeit with little success.
At that moment, Themis called to order, giving everyone time to assimilate the information. Even though she and Junior hadn't told them what powers they had or their importance in Luffy's story, it was clear that they were worthy of their reputation. Each of them had very different personalities, showing that they were totally independent. One thing was clear: they were going to be great opponents.
Then Junior sees an island on the horizon.
"Hey!" he exclaimed as pointed to something up ahead. "It's Nami's home island, Sabaody Park!"
All the demigods looked up at that exclamation... but as they got closer, they saw why the bird-pirate was angry. It was some kind of red and yellow tower, at least several stories high, and had a flag of what looked like a saw-toothed shark with crossbones behind it. Seeing that mark... Junior's fists clenched and began to tremble. Themis sweat broke out on her forehead and her heart raced, causing the gods to look at her with concern.
To be continued...
