(Hello everyone. This will NOT be a new episode, but a preview of what is to come. And as for the questions from PrincessOfNeoVerona18:
First: I try to update this story every month, but it's hard for me to stick to a set plan.
Second: between the Titan and the Gods "the main 6".
(I hope these answers have helped you. Thanks for your comments.)
Gamelover41592: Try to make the story a bit more original, so don't be surprised if I change a few things. Thank you for your comments.
Greer123: Thanks for your feedback. I hope you had a good Christmas too.
Monster King: I'm glad you like it. As for your suggestion, I wouldn't mind trying MHA or RWBY sometime; I like your idea..
And now a preview of some great moments of the most epic and saddest arc (in my opinion) of One Piece: Marineford.)
'This is the moment when Crocodile tried to kill Shirohige.'
"I've been waiting a long time for this, Whitebeard," Crocodile said in a tone that sent chills down their godlike spines. It was one of pure hate, as if he had dreamed of skewering this man for years, even the look in his eyes was one of malice.
Whitebeard still hadn't turned his head, but he spoke in a deep, aged voice, clearly showing that he knew he was there, "You never learn, do you?"
"Be aware!" Aphrodite, VISIBLE (and drawing many leering looks from the combatants and prisoners, though she was in no mood for such nonsense, as were her companions) to warn the man, but there was no need to worry, because faster than lightning , something flew up behind them and hit Crocodile's outstretched arm. It was Luffy, who had switched to his Second Gear and stopped the attack with a single kick, making sure the hook never got anywhere near Whitebeard.
"Awesome, son!" Hestia said, her eyes red and teary at the first adopted child of hers.
"Wow!" Ares yelled, remembering the last fight Luffy had with Crocodile. She was barely a match for him the entire time, but here, she not only deflected the bait away from him, she did it without much trouble. This sure showed him how far he had come from Arabasta…he never failed to amaze him. In fact, he cheered loudly when he saw Crocodile go flying backwards from the impact, skidding across the deck.
"Not bad at all, Luffy. I'm almost impressed." Athena smiled, without her helmet and with bruises. She had grown fond of Luffy ever since he saved his daughter in Little Garden and everything that happened in Enies Lobby, the rescue of his champion, Nico Robin.
She glared at Luffy, and that's when they realized that Luffy was already drenched, most likely from his little bath that he took moments before.
But before he could do anything, a mound of water fell on the former Shichibukai's head, courtesy of Percy Jackson, accompanied by his nivial Annabeth Chase as they stood between him and Luffy.
"You little mongrel bastard," Crocodile cursed. "I fulfilled my part of the bargain at Impel Down, why are you protecting Whitebeard?"
"So that's Old Whitebeard, huh?" Luffy asked. "Well, don't lay a finger on him! Ace really likes the old man!"
"Don't forget about Luke, Lu!" Annabeth said, glaring at Crocodile and pointing her dagger at him. "If you think we were going to trust you, you must be more arrogant than in Alabasta."
"In other words," Percy said, as he suddenly appeared next to Annabeth and Luffy, "Luffy never intended to honor any deal with a sick, twisted son of a bitch like you."
"So it's true, Perseus Jackson. You are here."
Percy and Artemis turned around the moment they recognized that voice and saw Zoe Nightshade, in her hunted outfit; She only added a pirate cape with the Jolly Roger of the Whitebeard Pirates on the back and needless to say, they were flabbergasted by the impossible presence of the deceased Goddess of the Hunt's lieutenant.
"Z…Z…Zoe Nightshade?!" said the daughter of the Goddess of Wisdom surprised.
"Z-Zoe..." Artemis began to cry with joy at the same time that she wonders who Whitebeard is.
"Tell your partner that protecting Father is MY solemn mission," Zoe said pointing her bow at the demigods, even though she had a smile on her face. "Do you both understand?"
Suddenly, several Whitebeard Pirates rushed out from the lower deck and grabbed Crocodile with some swords, yelling at the others to make sure he didn't go near the Old Man. While he was... stopped... the gods looked at Whitebeard properly for the first time.
He was roughly three times the size of a normal human, with a long face that was plowed and wrinkled around his dark yellow eyes due to his age. However, he seemed to be made of nothing but muscle, despite how old he was. He wore a large black scarf around his head, with a large white captain's coat around his broad shoulders that carried his Jolly Roger on his back. He, too, was bare-chested and many scars across his chest, some of which appeared to have been nasty wounds. How many pirates had tried to take this man's life, but from each wound he recovered and became stronger, the God of War thought in complete surprise. And despite his name, he had no beard, but a huge mustache that had the shape of a crescent moon on his face, quite elegant, Aphrodite murmured, just as surprised as his lover.
But what gripped all the Olympians was the feeling of power that pulsed through his body. It was as if he was emitting the same type of energy as the sun... strong and relentless. Or as if the seas suddenly flowed into a gigantic tsunami, capable of swallowing the sky and the sky itself. Poseidon and Amphetite looked long and hard at the pirate, they both felt that he really was the King of the Sea in the Grand Line.
"Whitebeard…" Demeter croaked, swallowing hard as she stared at him in terror. You didn't need to be a goddess like that to be able to feel the aura this guy was giving off. She was just like Zeus, Poseidon or even Hades when they really got down to defending the kingdoms from her. Just being around him and knowing that she was just a mortal made her feel like she was going to faint.
"He was the strongest man in the world," said Apollo, and smiled to see him. He wasn't the only one either, because Ares smiled like a madman bent on killing.
"Now that he's a serious power," he stated in amazement. And to think that this guy was Roger's only real rival...
"And if he's like this on his last day, I can only imagine him in his prime," Hera whispered in amazement. Most pirates can never live that long... occupational hazards and all, but to get to that age and not have weakened once in all that time? He was truly a force of nature in her book. I smile. She starts to think that mortals are amazing if you watch them long enough.
"I haven't even seen him in action, but I already know he's earned his reputation," Hermes squeaked, feeling almost like a mouse facing off against a titan or something. He just wanted to run, but he knew he had to be there. After all, his son was on the execution platform.
And he even flinched a bit when Whitebeard turned his head and looked at Luffy, Percy, and Annabeth who were barely up to their boots. A clear reference to how far they were from the biggest. Both in size and in measures of power.
"Boy," said Whitebeard. "That straw hat of yours…it looks a lot like the one Redhead used to wear."
"You mean you know Shanks?!" Luffy asked as he turned to look at him. "I'm just holding on to it, for him!"
"I see... And you two, are you demigods, like Luke and Zoe?"
"That's right. I am the son of Poseidon."
"And I am the daughter of Athena. But don't underestimate us just because of that."
Flashback
Ace and Luke show Whitebeard three wanted posters... Luffy's first wanted poster and the first ones for Percy and Annabeth.
"Hey dad, check this out!" said Ace. "This here is my little brother, Luffy!"
"Is that so?" asked Whitebeard. "And those two, Luke?"
"Those are... my cousins, Father. Percy, a... rival... much loved and Annabeth, my little sister."
"How curious. Gurarara..."
End of Flashback
Whitebeard seemed to be sizing up the three of them, as if testing him and trying to guess what he was capable of. "Have you come to save your brothers?" she asked.
"Yes," Luffy said defiantly, without a hint of hesitation, almost seeming to dare him to say otherwise.
"Of course, this time I won't let him." Percy spoke with the same conviction as his sworn brother.
"Same here. I won't let him die." Annabeth finished determinedly.
"Do you have any idea what you're up against?" Whitebeard demanded, as if he was scolding small children for pulling a trick that could hurt him. Then he lifted the colossal bisento he was holding in his hands and smashed it against the deck of the ship with such force that the entire world seemed to shake around him. It was then that the gods could see how different they were in terms of power that he yelled, "Brats like you guys don't stand a chance!"
"He won't like that," Hera said with a wider smile. If she knew Luffy as well as she believed, then there was no way she was going to take him lying down.
"Please, Luffy, don't do anything stupid." I beg Hades.
"Percy..." Poseidon looked worriedly at his son. Although he was surprised when he became Luffy's brother, he did not object as he trusted the rubber pirate. However, he had learned something in all this time...
If Luffy had been born in his world, he would be Percy's blood brother without a doubt.
Luffy didn't react at all and slowly lowered his head. If he had been anyone else, they would have thought he was giving up. But as everyone thought, a muscle was in his forehead before he looked up and yelled, "Shut up! That's not for you to decide!"
"That's it, old glory! Do you think your opinion matters to me?" the son of Poseidon yelled at him, taking out Riptide and aiming at him without fear.
Ivankov's and Buggy's jaws dropped to the ground in disbelief that anyone would have the nerve to point a sword at the strongest man in the world. Just like the gods... although they were already more than used to Percy's impertinence. Annabeth wasn't as excited as the two of them, but she pointed her dagger at Zoe, surprised by this outburst.
No, not that! Zeus thought. Everything but that!
"You are not the one who decides if I live or die in this fight!" Luffy said. "If you really think you're going to find One Piece and become the Pirate King first, then you've got another thing coming up, because I'm going to be the Pirate King!"
Whitebeard remained stoic as Percy added fuel to the fire.
"What's more… Get in our way to save Ace and Luke… I'll be the one to cut your head off, YOU FUCKING OLD PIRATE!"
Both statements surprised everyone upon hearing the shots; Marines and pirates around him froze, completely forgetting that they were supposed to be trying to kill each other; they were so baffled that anyone would have the guts to say such a thing to Whitebeard. When in reality there were TWO madmen and one of them literally threatened a legend in front of his crew.
"Ace's little brother isn't that bad," Marco mused.
"Not only that, but Percy has gotten more insulting. Ha, that guy is crazy." I speak with a smile Michael Yew
"Well done, you two," Amphetite said, though he was laughing. "If it had been anyone else, he might not still be here."
Whitebeard remained calm, though he was looking at Luffy and the demigods, who just continued to glare at him. They seemed to be trying to see what it was made of. When it became apparent that Luffy and the demigods refused to be intimidated, Whitebeard picked up his weapon and spun it around in his hands, creating a whirlwind that would have carried anyone to the other end of the Grand Line. And then he slammed him back against the deck, the shock wave enough to knock down some of the weaker fights below them.
The gods were not intimidated, but they were still surprised by the power of man.
But the three stood their ground, refusing to back down and run. At last, a smile appeared on Whitebeard's face. "You're pretty damn cheeky aren't you?" Then he looked ahead again and added, "You don't think I'll forgive you if you delay us here you little brats. Zoe, leave the girl."
Zoe then looked at Annabeth, who looked back at her as she felt her gaze.
"That young friend of yours has a sarcastic tongue," the former Huntress told Athena's daughter. "You'd better shut him up before I shoot him to death."
At first, Annabeth was thinking of running, but then she got a serious look.
"I hope that's not a threat," Annabeth said, "because I don't care that you're friends with Percy, I won't forgive ANYONE who dares to hurt him, Luffy or any of my family! Have you stayed Sure... Huntress"
Zoe gave Annabeth a smile.
"I'll believe it when I see it."
Zoe reluctantly puts the bow down before Annabeth stands next to her boyfriend and her brother.
"Well that's about as good as a compliment coming from someone like him," the Queen of the Gods laughed as Apollo, Hermes and Aphrodite looked on in amazement.
"My Luffy is so awesome!" Aphrodite gasped.
"IT'S NOT YOUR LUFFY!" The goddesses especially Artemis shouted her.
"We'll do whatever we want!" Luffy snapped, looking ahead. "I'm going to save Ace and Luke! Right, Percy, Annie?"
"Is that a question?" Annabeth said looking at the execution platform. "To hell together, remember?"
"That's it. Luffy, let's go after Ace and Luke together."
Those three are arguing with Whitebeard?! Ivankov and Buggy thought.
"Inconceivable!" said Mr.3 before passing out.
"The three pirates against the four Admirals."
Some of the gods looked on in alarm as they rose into the sky, high above the battlefield and looked down to see the wall and the giant just below them. It looked like a great serpentine stream rising above them, practically glowing in the dark light… with no one knowing what to do as it loomed over them.
There was a deathly silence around him as the water spun into the air and he crashed, landing right in front of the giant and in front of the execution platform. And then the world became clear again. They had just realized that they hadn't been breathing since Jimbei had thrown the water over the wall, but each of them was taking in a breath.
They are revealed to be Luffy, Percy and Annabeth, the first of whom is holding a broken mizzen mast from one of the battleships... and all three of them are standing right in front of the four Admirals.
"LU…" Ace choked. "LUFFY!"
Luke looked up with a torn expression.
"PER... PERCY, ANNABETH! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"THE ADMIRALS!?" Hades yelled at the top of his lungs, with difficulty.
"Of all the people here...?" Hestia said with trembling lips, nearly falling over with dizziness. "The Four Worst People You Could Have Been!"
Ace and Luke's mouths were parted as their eyes were wide and filled with a primal fear that only the son of Hermes saw when he served Kronos, but they couldn't blame them in the slightest when they saw who they were looking at. Aokiji and Kizaru…both looking the same as the last time they saw them, with Aokiji looking slightly surprised that Luffy and the two demigods, both with blood coming out of their heads, made it in the first place, and Kizaru was almost…looking at them. curiously, as if wondering what they were going to do now.
But it was the first time they had seen the third Admiral and the woman up close. The man was as tall as the other two Admirals, and heavily muscled with a hard, almost chiseled face. While Aokiji wore blue and Kizaru wore a yellow striped suit, Akainu wore a crimson red suit with even a pink flower on it. But there was something different about this guy. There was something...dark...almost an eerie aura floating around his being. His face showed no emotion, just a coldness in his eyes that was colder than any ice. And it was that cold darkness on his face that scared them more than anything else.
As for the woman, she is young in appearance, tall, with a slim build and had long, chocolate brown hair. It is also quite full, extending to the lower part of her back and small strands in front of her.
She has a black Navy symbol tattoo on her left shoulder. Her breasts are also big and round.
As for her clothing, she wears a baggy orange suit and a typical Navy officer's cape hanging over her shoulders. Unlike many high ranking Marines; and like Sakazuki, she did not wear a tie and instead left her arms visible because the sleeves made her mobility difficult and she wears a standard marine cap with which she usually hides her eyes.
Her aura presents her as someone of severe temperament, expressionless, always maintaining an unfathomable and impenetrable rectitude. She looks straight at the pirates without consideration or mercy.
"So…" Aokiji said, in a rather shocked voice, "You finally made it this far."
"That's quite an entry, son of Dragon," Akainu said, her voice filled with hate that no god liked her.
"Wow, what a surprise. I never imagined that the Greek heroes would come to do the pirates' dirty work." Orenjikuren spoke, coldly.
"These youngsters are starting to scare me," Kizaru added, and it actually sounded kind of funny here.
"Well I know you're seriously scaring me!" Aphrodite wailed, "In more ways than one."
Neither Luffy nor the two demigods even responded to them as he continued to breathe, his eyes never leaving them as the Admirals stood there and watched, and that's when the Olympians realized they were waiting to see what else he planned to do. They had their brothers on their hands, and they wanted to see what he was going to do about it.
"At least, I commend your tenacity," Akainu complimented, though the way she said it made it sound almost like an insult.
"But are you ready for this stage yet?" Aokiji asked in a surprised manner, as if he was asking that question more to himself than to them.
"You know you can't expect to beat us, right?" Kizaru added, reminding the three of their vast levels of power.
"You are certainly persistent," Orenjikuren said, "son of Poseidon and daughter of Athena. Either that or just plain nonsense. It only remains to know how you want to die."
"Give me..." Luffy snarled before jumping up, turning the mast around and finishing yelling, "BACK UP!"
And that's when he did that stupid thing they were sure he was going to do. He just threw the mast straight at the four of them, not caring if it worked or not.
"Stupid…" Percy whispered.
"As reckless as ever... Just like us," Annabeth added, as Whitebeard's voice echoed from the other side of the wall.
"Oz!" he yelled and that's when the giant slowly turned his head to look behind him and Whitebeard's voice continued: "Stay where you are! We'll need your strength! Brat with the trident, you'll have to help him!"
"Old man!" the giant, Oars, growled.
"Ok!" Poseidon replied.
"Jozu! Time for our trump card!" Whitebeard declared, louder than ever: "All men, get ready! We are storming the square! Ares, Athena, we need you ready to cover Oz!"
"Ready when you say, old man!" the Goddess of War shouted excitedly.
"Aye, Whitebeard." Athena wouldn't let them order her, but in this situation, she allowed it.
But his words turned deaf to everyone once more as Aokiji's arm turned to ice and he raised his hand to touch the mast that was flying towards him, freezing it immediately. However, Luffy seemed to expect that as he jumped into the air, right over them. He let out a loud battle cry as Aokiji threw the frozen mast at him.
"GUM GUM... STAMP GATLING!" he yelled, looking even crazier than ever as he kicked wildly, pounding the frozen wood until it shattered into pieces. His screams drowned out everything else around them as the pieces fell and returned to the Admirals, none of them reacted at all, but a sudden understanding washed over them.
This was Luffy and the demigods' way of declaring war on them. If they were willing to sacrifice everything for his 'justice', then they would do the same.
(I hope you liked it. I'll try to bring the next chapter to the end of January. Happy New Year everyone! Infinity Prime, out!)
