"I'm guessing that's not Namek, huh?" Trunks asked as he saw my shock and his voice snapped me back from my shock before I took a deep breath and shook my head with a sigh.
"No, that tree is not supposed to be there."
"Hah, of course it isn't. Think it's something we should be worried about?" Videl asked and I simply smirked as I crossed my arms.
"We're on an unknown planet that even I only recognize slightly and I've nearly died so many times on this planet. Unless I say it's good, you treat it as if it's a danger to you and everyone around you."
"As you wish, King Gohan." Vomi nodded with a slight bow before she blinked as I sighed while the other three hid their snickers.
"Vomi, no need for the king part. Just Gohan is good."
"Okay, Gohan. So, what do we do now?" She asked and I frowned before walking forward and pressing a button on the panel.
"System, fly down to the lower atmosphere and switch to hover mode."
"Affirmative. Descending now."
"When we land, everyone be on guard. Do not let it down for a single moment and do not trust anyone that isn't one of us five. Is that understood?"
"Yes, sir!" They all agreed and I nodded as I walked over to the hatch doors when they opened, looking out and frowning at the withered condition of Namek.
The trees were all drained of life, the water was a murky green instead of the usual sea-green and the sky was covered in light grey clouds that blocked out all light.
However, in the far distance, I frowned as I stared at the colossal tree that pierced through the clouds and went further up past the atmosphere, its roots the size of mountains as they spread out wide and far in all directions.
"Ship, activate invisibility mode and hover a bit higher up."
"Command approved. We shall do so, King Gohan." The AI spoke and I floated out of the spaceship, the others following after me as we began flying over to the tree.
As we got closer, I spread out my senses to encompass the entirety of the area as we flew closer to the ground, a slight frown adorning my face as I couldn't feel any energies near us.
"Anyone able to feel anything?"
"Nothing/ Nope/ Can't feel a thing."
"I am trying to sense life forms, but the only ones I can sense are that of dinosaurs and…slugs."
"Wait, slugs?" I asked as I turned to Vomi, who frowned slightly as she looked down at one root of the Tree of Might and nodded.
"Yes, down there. They're fairly powerful slugs, though, so they might be enemies."
"Namekians are humanoids with plant and slug-like characteristics in their biology. Do they feel plant-like as well?"
"Now that you mention it, they kind of do." Vomi said with a smile and I nodded as I floated down towards the spot she was pointing it, a wide smile spreading across my face as I watched four Namekians dressed in white, red and/ or dark grey open vests and baggy white pants walking out of the large root with frowns.
"Good morning, gentlemen. We are not here to fight. We simply wish to speak with the one in charge."
"No." The one at the front with the red vest said bluntly with a frown and I held a hand up to stop anyone from speaking as I frowned slightly.
"May I ask why?"
"No."
"Hah, I'm certain that if you speak with the leader, he will tell you all who I am."
"No. Now leave."
"Very well. May I ask one more thing? Is Grand Elder Moori still alive?" I asked and that shocked the four Namekians as their eyes widened considerably while I heard the confused mutters of the four behind me.
"Uh, Gohan, who is this Grand Elder Moori guy?" Erasa asked and I smiled as I remember the old Namekian before all the Namekians were teleported away to this planet all those years ago.
"Grand Elder Moori was the second Grand Elder I've met about sixteen or seventeen years ago when I first arrived on Namek with Bulma and Krillin. Grand Elder Guru however was the first Grand Elder I met and he was also the one who unlocked my dormant potential. However, we couldn't exactly hang out and talk to him seeing as Namek was under attack by Frieza and his forces at the time."
"…You saying you fought against an intergalactic tyrant when you were six?" Videl asked with a shocked look and I chuckled as I nodded whilst making a so-so gesture with my hand.
"Five or six, around there. Before that, I fought against five of his elite soldiers and got my neck broken and before that, I fought against Vegeta and another Saiyan that wanted to destroy the planet."
"How…how the hell are you even normal?" Erasa asked this time and I shrugged before turning to the group in front of me who no longer looked hostile.
In fact, they looked…overjoyed?"
"Was…was your father Son Goku?"
"Yes, that is him, though he passed away all those years so that just left me to pick up the slack."
"You…you don't remember me, do you?" The one with the red vest muttered with a happy smile and I frowned slightly in confusion before my eyes widened as he lifted up his right arm and gave me a peace sign while raising his left leg up and his left arm to the sky with another peace sign.
"Is the alien doing a…peace sign?"
"…Dende?" There was only one Namekian that I taught that specific stance to and a bark of surprised laughter escaped my lips as Dende chuckled before he wrapped me up in a tight hug.
"You are a sight for sore eyes!"
"Me?! Hahahaha! Look at you! Damn, it's been so long!" I exclaimed with a gleeful grin as I pulled back and held my hands on his shoulders.
"How have you been?"
"From the look of the planet, you can see how it's been." He answered and I gave a sheepish grin as I nodded before my eyes widened as I remembered the people that tagged along.
"Right, you haven't met my friends! Dende, this is Vomi, an Android!"
"Pleasure to meet you." Vomi bowed with a smile, which Dende returned before looking at Trunks.
"That's Trunks, the hybrid son of Bulma and Vegeta."
"…She actually got together with him?" He asked with a shocked look and I chuckled as I nodded while Trunks frowned.
"Was my dad really that bad?"
"Oh, bad doesn't even begin to describe Mr. Vegeta." Dende responded and Trunks winced as I gave a shrug before giving a deadpan stare at Erasa as she did her best pose while Videl rolled her eyes.
"And these two lovely ladies are Videl and Erasa, my girlfriends."
"…Does your mother know?"
"She nearly killed this one when she found out." I said while pointing at Erasa, who stuck her tongue out as Dende smirked at my words.
"That sounds like Ms. Chichi. So, how are the others doing? How is Krillin and Piccolo?" He asked before his smile dimmed as mine faded and I sighed.
"After Frieza got killed by Father for a second time and he then died a natural death, two Androids laid rampage to Earth and…I'm the only one other than Bulma and Yajirobe that survived out of the original fighters before I took out the Androids myself."
"…Oh, well, at least we are the leaders of our respective planets, yes?"
"Wait, what?" I asked in surprise and he chuckled before we looked at the other Namekian dressed in a gray vest that spoke up.
"Grand Elder, we must get you out of sight before the demons come down."
"Right, right. We should do that."
"Wait, you're Grand Elder?" I asked in surprise and he nodded with a smile before gesturing for us to follow.
"As the only Dragon Clan member when the rest of the clan and Grand Elder Moori fused with me, I was given the position of Grand Elder automatically. Now, follow and we'll talk more in our secret hideout."
"I have to admit, hiding under the enemy's nose is quite the genius play, Little Green." I said as I looked around at the hollowed-out insides of the large Tree of Might before I chuckled at the sight of the others bonding with the Namekians.
Vomi seemed to be having the time of our life as she, Erasa and Videl played around with the Namekian children while Trunks was lording his new power over the older Namekian fighters as he helped them run through katas.
"Please, don't call me that again. I just finished forgetting about that stupid nickname." He grumbled and I chuckled as I shook my head.
"No can do, Little Green. So, what are these demons that your guys are concerned about?"
"Before I do that, is there a chance you all can turn your energy down to its absolute minimum?" He asked while drawing the attention of the others as well and I nodded as I suppressed my energy to its absolute minimum, the others doing the same as Dende gave a thankful smile and nodded.
"Apologies for that, but the enemy make use of the same scouters that Frieza's Force use so I had to train everyone to suppress their energy just like you taught me." He said to me as I gestured for the others to return to what they were doing and I frowned slightly while looking at him.
"Wait, if you're the sole fusion of the Dragon Clan in one being, then how strong are these guys to make you struggle like this?"
"Very. The weakest of them is about twice the strength of your two girlfriends while the strongest is about twice my own strength." I frowned at that as I scanned Dende's energy and found that it was only a quarter of my own, which meant that this person is about half my own power.
That…kind of make sense since that Saiyan Turles from the Tree of Might movie was supposed to be slightly stronger than Vegeta so if he's been devouring the Fruit of the Tree over the past couple of years, it would make sense that he's reached that level with just that.
"I see. Well, how about we help you all out for old time's sake in return for a slight favor?"
"You want to use the Dragon Balls, don't you?" Dende asked with an amused smile before chuckling as I nodded.
"You saw through it, huh?"
"Since you are friends and lifelong allies of the Namekian Race, you just had to ask and we would have let you use them, but if you are offering to take them out for it, then you are more than welcome to."
"…Well, look who's gotten crafty?" I spoke with a smile and Dende shrugged before he looked down as I held up a hand.
"Take out the Dragon Balls while we go and take care of your little problem."
"I'll be awaiting the good news." He answered with a smile as he shook my hand and I nodded before standing and catching everyone's attention.
"Apologies, everyone, but we have somewhere we need to be so we'll return in a few!" The disappointed groans of the children made me smile softly as the four Z-Warriors followed after me and as we entered the tunnel, I took a deep breath as I turned to the others.
"So, what do you guys think of Namek?"
"Well, despite the death and dismay that reminds me too much of Earth, it is quite fun."
"And that's why we're leaving. We're going to make sure they don't have to suffer through thirteen years of pain like we did."
"Well, it's nice to see that you want to help, but you do remember when he said that the weakest guy is about twice the strength of us two, right?" Videl said with a frown before her frown turned to a confused look as I smiled and nodded.
"I do, which is why I'm going to be teaching a move that will exponentially boost your powers. I call it…the Fusion Technique."
"And what is this...Fusion technique?" Videl asked and I grinned before answering.
"Oh, just a little something I've been thinking of for the past couple of months that Trunks and perhaps another strong fighter can do in case I'm not there. The technique is essentially a dance that two fighters of equal powers do together and what it does...is that it fuses these two beings into one fighter. Their equal power levels are then added together and increased exponentially to ensure that they are far stronger than they were individually."
"...How did you even come up with this? Also, how does that even work scientifically?" Vomi asked with a frown and I smiled before pointing at my head.
"Well, in the old Z-Fighters, there was a friend of my dad, Tien, who had the ability to split himself into four separate bodies. Each body was him and they each had a quarter of his power. That got me thinking. If he can split himself into four different bodies, why can't I figure out a way to fuse two different bodies into one?"
"And the dance part?"
"That's the key part of this technique. By mirroring not just each other's power levels but also their exact movements, these two beings become so in sync that their minds, bodies and souls become one as well. However, like I said, this is all in theory as I never had someone to test it out with so it might work and it might not. We'll just have to see if you guys want to try it out."
"Videl?" Erasa asked as she looked at her friend, who looked at me before I smiled as she smirked and nodded.
"Let's try it out."
"Good. Now, here are the movements."
At the base of the colossal Tree of Might, a man dressed in the black and grey Battle Armour of the Frieza Force frowned as he looked out in the distance, the five large numbers that had appeared on his scouter now completely gone as if they were never there.
"A problem, Lord Turles?" A large muscular, red-skinned man asked as he stood behind the first man with his long ponytail thrown over his left shoulder, dressed in a white variant of the same Battle Armour with slight changes in that he had four spiked protrusions on the shoulder pads of his armour and was wearing blue skintight pants.
"Yes, Amond. Look in that direction and scan it." Turles spoke and Amond frowned as he calibrated his scouter to scan everything in that direction up to a few hundred kilometers only to frown in confusion as nothing showed up.
"I see nothing, my lord."
"That's what draws my attention as well. About four hours ago, there were two power levels of 684 and 691 respectively that showed up on the scouter along with three power levels that could not be calculated. About a few minutes after that , all five of them vanished."
"That would be impossible. That would mean there are three beings on the level of us on this planet."
"Perhaps the Namekians finally decided to fuse?" A muscular man said with an amused tone as he lounged on parts of the roots below them, wearing a dark brown variant of the Battle Armour with pink leg warmers while his mane of spiky hair was done up into a low ponytail.
"Even if they did, Daiz, they would not have been nearly strong enough to reach a level where they could put three fusions at that level." A cyborg spoke up while dressed in silver Battle Armour, most of his body apart from his neck, head and parts of his arms being covered in cybernetic enhancements while its organic body appeared to be made out of magma itself.
"Cacao is right. Lakaras, go check it out." Turles said as he looked to the side at their last member, to which the short purple-skinned alien dressed in dark grey Battle Armour with an ovular head grumbled as he floated closer.
"Why me?"
"You're the weakest. Now go." Turles commanded once more and the alien grumbled as he nodded and shot down towards the ground…
Right before they all were surprised while Lakaras only knew pain as a grinning woman flew in from the side and tackled the alien far into the distance.
She had shoulder-length black hair with blond highlights and was dressed in baggy white pants, a blue sash wrapped around her waist and an open white vest with unique green padding around the shoulders that was thankfully kept closed by white bandages lest her rather impressive chest be seen by all.
A moment later, both Daiz and Cacao raised their arms right as Vomi appeared in front of them and tackled both up high and away from Turles and Amond.
They both went to attack both women before Trunks appeared in front of a surprised Amond and kicked him far into the distance in the opposite direction of where Vomi had tackled her opponents, Turles wanting to pursue but he was more occupied with Gohan floating in front of him.
"Who are you?!" Turles exclaimed but Gohan didn't waste any time talking as he shifted into Super Saiyan with a grunt and blasted up towards Turles, who looked surprised to see the transformation.
However, he didn't get any time to be in awe as pain exploded in his chest when Gohan appeared with blinding speeds in front of him and landed a powerful uppercut to his chest.
The hybrid was not done as he gripped Turles' face with one hand while landing another vicious uppercut to the Saiyan's jaw, grabbing Turles by the tail as the Saiyan was sent flying before he let out an agonizing cry as Gohan ripped the Saiyan's tail out with a grunt.
However, as Gohan went to punch at the Saiyan to finish the fight, his eyes widened as a malicious energy exploded from Turles and pushed him away.
'…Oh, this is not the Turles I vaguely remember.' Gohan thought with a frown as he pulled out the Power Pole and held it in his grasp, staring at the shocking sight of Turles floating in the air while his mane of pitch black hair swayed in the wind behind him as the Saiyan was covered in a black and crimson aura.
The most shocking of it all was the fact that Turles' power was now triple that of the Saiyan hybrid in his Super Saiyan state and Gohan frowned before the world cried as he took a deep breath and unleashed his full power.
Thanks to straining himself over the past couple of weeks to push Super Saiyan 4 to its absolute limit along with training rigorously against Cell, Gohan's strength had increased drastically along with that of the Android to the point that he was nearly twice as strong as he was before.
"You…have pissed off the wrong Saiyan, bastard!" Turles growled as his energy surged to match that of Gohan's and the Saiyan hybrid smirked as he spun the Power Pole before pointing on end of it at the Saiyan.
"I did? Well, let me give you something to think about. Extend!"
