The days followed as Leroy watched Elizabeth's eggs while she hunted, and every evening they would discuss how they would dominate the region they were in.
"Simply kill the humans," Elizabeth said bluntly. "All the Pokémon here would be so much happier!"
"Perhaps, but there are a lot of Johto people that immigrate here. And people from other regions," Leroy stated. Elizabeth was about to respond, but they both notice Mimi flying towards them.
"Hello Mimi! What is it?" Elizabeth said.
"I've got news for you both," Mimi said. She sounds serious. Leroy thought. Both he and Elizabeth looked at her. "You know that city, Fuchsia City. The Warden plans sending a crew to destroy Route 15 to add more room for the Pokémon Zoo!"
Leroy looked at Elizabeth. There was no need for words. The look in her eyes told Leroy that she was very livid.
"We should fly there," Elizabeth muttered, holding her anger. "And take them all down!"
Leroy climbed onto Elizabeth's neck and they took off while Mimi watched Elizabeth's eggs. Elizabeth flew off until she was hovering over Route 15. She saw many construction workers and bulldozers, taking down trees, three at a time. Elizabeth squinted her eyes and saw that Pidgey and Pidgeotto were flying out of the trees. Elizabeth noticed several eggs fell over the tree and cracked. That is what made Elizabeth snap. She threw herself at a bulldozer, almost forgetting that Leroy was clinging onto her neck. Leroy thought that Elizabeth was literally going to smash into the bulldozer, but instead she used Flamethrower at it and flew back up as the bulldozer set to flames. Two humans ran out of the bulldozer in panic and started swearing at Elizabeth. She smirked as she shot another Flamethrower at another bulldozer. A Pidgeotto shot to the sky to Elizabeth's side.
"Thank you! I thought these bulldozers would kill us all!" the Pidgeotto gasped.
"You are welcome," Elizabeth said with a polite nod.
Leroy, Elizabeth, and the Pidgeotto headed towards Route 14 and sat under a tree next to the peaceful ocean.
"My name's Antonio," the Pidgeotto said.
"I'm Elizabeth, and this is Leroy," Elizabeth greeted.
"You two seem like natural heroes," Antonio said, eyes glittering with hope. "I have a friend that lives at the Seafoam Islands, I've heard stories about all sorts of people trying to catch her, and I think Team Rocket is going to catch her!"
"Really?!" Elizabeth gasped. "How do you know this?"
"I spent the summer with her and she told me that Team Rocket is behind most of the attack parties, and that they are unpredictable, and that she is lucky to still be wild and free," Antonio explained.
"Well if you want us to protect her, we will," Leroy said.
"Really? Thank you!" Antonio said with gratitude.
"What species is she?" Elizabeth asked. Antonio looked at his talons briefly before answering.
"Articuno."
