A Song for the Reaper

Prologue: In between the Worlds
It was nice, to be able to wield his powers once more, Ichigo thought. The whole deal with Ginjo Kugo was over with and now he could once more say that he was a Substitute Shinigami.
About time too, he snorted in ill veiled humor. Sitting around on his ass while his friends dealt with the threats of the afterlife was not something that he enjoyed.
"Ichi-nii…" He was pulled from his monologue by the voice of his youngest sister who tugged at his arm. "Is it always this scary inside here?"
"Scary?" He muttered before looking around. Sure the Dangai wasn't really a nice place, but he never felt that it was particularly scary. "You'll get used to it, and don't worry, we should be in Soul Society in a few."
He gave Yuzu's hand a soft, reassuring squeeze before looking to the other side to see his other sister Karin walking there. Unlike Yuzu, Karin had refused to give him her hand and acted like the big girl she no doubt felt she was.
He smiled at that, 'How quickly they grow up.'
"Are you sure that we are there soon?" Karin asked, shuddering a little as she looked at the oozing black walls of the Dangai. "This place is gross."
"Hey I didn't force you two to come along." Ichigo chided his sister, "you wanted to see Soul Society and visit Rukia."
He hadn't been thrilled when Karin had come to him and then demanded to be taken to Soul Society, but after all the shit the girls had been pulled into because of him, he thought that they too had the right to see the afterlife at least once. He also knew that Rukia would enjoy meeting his sisters again, and vice versa.
As such, he took both his sisters and they went to Kisuke, who then set them up with the Matter to Reiatsu converter they had used when they invaded Sould Society the first time around, so that his sisters could come along without being forced to separate their souls from their bodies.
In his opinion, it was all bit much for a social call, but Karin and Yuzu didn't take no for an answer. And if there was one thing that Ichigo knew without a shadow of doubt then it was that both girls had him wrapped around their little fingers.
"Still, couldn't the Soul Society at least try to clean this place up?" Karin huffed while crossing her arms over her chest. "And what's with that purple slime?"
"I don't know." Ichigo said, "all I know is that the Dangai is a place outside of the bounds of space and time. As for the slime, don't touch it. Its dangerous. If you somehow end up outside of this tunnel, its over and you are lost in the void between dimensions."
"Oh that's just great!" Karin huffed, rolled her eyes, and discreetly shuffled closer towards her big brother.
Ichigo just smiled and ruffled Karin's black hair to which she slapped his hand away. The three siblings continued on in silence until Ichigo's keen eyes made out the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.
"There see? We are nearly-" He cut himself off when he noticed that the light was coming closer towards them at speed. Bright and blue, and clearly not normal. His honed instincts screamed at him to move, and he did. Slinging his arms around both Karin and Yuzu, he flashed to the side, carefully avoiding the walls of the Dangai, and just in time to see that the light was an arrow.
A big one at that.
"What the hell was that!?" Karin screamed and Yuzu whimpered, burrowing her head into Ichigo's side.
"I don't know." Ichigo's gruff voice growled out and he looked down at the twins. "Karin, Yuzu, stay here."
He didn't give them time to reply before he moved to the stand in the middle of the Dangai. His hand went into his pants where he pulled out his Soul Reaper Badge, which gave off a soft glow of light before transforming into a sword while his clothing turned into a bone-like armour of white and black.
He truly regretted that he didn't separate his soul from his body right about now.
"Special War Potential Ichigo Kurosaki." A voice echoed out through the Dangai, being followed by soft footfalls that grew louder and louder. "Truly, a pleasure to meet you."
Ichigo saw him walk towards them. A man dressed all in white, a familiar uniform that the young Soul Reaper knew well. It was a starchy and pompous Quincy outfit, a bit different from the ones Uryu had worn at times, but similar enough to be recognized.
The Quincy uniform, along with the cap and white trench coat made the man look like an overly white mockery of a Nazi SS Officer. So much so that Ichigo had the man on his shit list for that simple fact alone.
Not to mention that he attacked his sisters as well, and that just wouldn't do.
"Who are you?" He asked the white dressed Nazi knock-off.
"Quilge Opi, the Jail, at your service." The man bowed grandly, then he looked towards Ichigo's sisters. "Hmm, Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki, how unexpected to meet the both of you. Unexpected, but joyous indeed!"
Ichigo growled and stepped between his sisters and the man, cutting of his line of sight to them. "Your fight is with me."
"Fight?" Quilge asked askance, "I'm not here to fight."
"Then why shoot us?" Ichigo asked while raising the point of his Fullbring at the man's head.
"So you would move closer towards the walls of the Dangai." And suddenly, just as the realization hit Ichigo there was a bow in the man's hands. Big, glowing blue, and arrow notched, he fired.
All Ichigo could do was flash towards his siblings and wrapping them up in his arms before the arrow met the ground with an explosion. The shock wave of which met Ichigo's unprotected back and sent him, along with his sisters, barrelling into the sticky purple liquid substance that made up the walls of the Dangai.
The Kurosaki siblings couldn't even scream before they were swallowed whole and sucked into the void unseen.
The white clad man was left standing alone within the Precipice between worlds.
"I do hope his majesty will be pleased with me." He hummed.
After all, he was not meant to act just yet. But would his Majesty blame him? After all, this opportunity was just far too good to pass up!

A/N: Welcome to yet another story of yours truly.
A BleachxGoT fic at that!
I noticed that there were only a handful of Bleach and Game of Thrones crossovers, so I thought that I attempt to write one myself.
Now first let me explain the rules I will follow for this fic:
1) Ichigo is in his human body. Karin, Yuzu and him used that device Kisuke created for Ichigo's friends during the Soul Society Arc. He didn't leave his body behind because he didn't think anything would happen. He was after all, just intent on making a social call while showing his sisters around the Seireitei.
2) Yuzu and Karin; I decided to use them because they are both criminally underutilized characters in fanfiction, especially in crossovers. That, and the idea of two modern girls being stuck in a society dominated by patriarchal notions is just fun. Karin will probably end up kicking a lot of men in the balls, and Ichigo will have his hands full with keeping others from getting close to sweet Yuzu.
And of course, having his sisters tag along will give Ichigo a sense of urgency to do shit.
3) Ichigo's powers. I decided to stick Ichigo into his human body, because otherwise there wouldn't be a story. Ichigo is disgustingly powerful, and his Soul Reaper form would be a walking Weapon of Mass Destruction. He wouldn't need to eat, sleep, breathe, or do anything human at all. And no one would be able to even stand next to him without dying. If he even flared his energy lightly, he would kill hundreds if not thousands of humans by just being there. If he went Bankai, I guess he would sink Westeros into the sea and cause a second Doom. And he probably would kill both Yuzu and Karin as well, since they aren't used to withstand so much power.
And finally, Ichigo having his body will also allow me to play around with his Quincy and Fullbringer abilities. Both of those bloodlines he possesses are amazing, and underdeveloped, especially in cannon.
For fucks sake, the ability of Fullbringers is to manipulate the soul of an object! How crazy and cool is that!? There are literally no limits to the imagination of what someone could do with a power like that! Wanna become the Avatar? You can! Want to become a Mage? Sure, go ahead! If what Ginjo said is true, and everything in the world has a soul, then a Fullbringer who actually makes use of those powers could do whatever the fuck he wanted.
Well, with that long ass A/N over with, I hope you enjoyed the prologue, and I'm already working on chapter one!
