Chapter One

Some time had passed since the fight against and the defeat of Adam and the Exorcist angels in defending the Hazbin Hotel. When the Hotel had already been rebuilt, our heroes thought things would be back to normal again, and such would indeed seem that way at first. A mysterious client contacted them over the phone, asking them to head over to his place for a 'discussion and negotiation of businesses'.

And so, Charlie, Vaggie, Husk and Angel Dust were sent all the way to the other end of the Pride Ring via limousine. Once they had made it to the place, the four exited the limousine and saw up ahead in front of them, what seemed to be a somewhat large yet still average looking house of minimal design and architecture, surrounded by a few trees here and there.

"So uh..." Vaggie was the first to speak as she observed the location. "This is the place?"

"Seems to be the address", Charlie replied before she walked forth with the others following close beside her.

"Eh, I seen better and worse", Angel Dust commented.

"Of course you would have", Husk snarked at Angel Dust before he asked Charlie. "So who exactly was the guy that called you?"

"I don't think he did say", Charlie tried to think back and recall. "Just that he wanted to do business with me or us or something".

"And that he would be me", a male voice, unfamiliar to any of the four, spoke up as the front door opened, revealing a tall grey-skinned masculine figure with sunken eyes of blue and cyan and greased-back hair of slivery black, wearing a red shirt within matching white suit, tie and trousers, and a smile that could rival the likes of Alastor and Vox. Behind him were two bulky mantis-like bodyguards in similar garb and uniform. "Name's Alyn Snave, just a normal guy who likes to work with humble businesses and local enterprises", he introduced himself proper as he walked forth towards the Princess of Hell and her friends, offering an extended hand to shake. "You must be Miss Charlie Magne-Morningstar, I presume".

Charlie hesitated from taking this man's rather leathery-looking hand. "Yes, you can just call me Charlie, for short", she greeted back with a nervous smile before she introduced the former Exorcist angel next to her. "This is my partner and girlfriend, Vaggie".

"And what a beautiful partner you are", the sinner, identified as 'Alyn', took Vaggie's hand instead and gave a short kiss to it.

"Yeeeeah", Vaggie carefully brought back her hand, subtly wiping at it. "And these two are Husk and Angel Dust, they're volunteers at the Hotel".

"Well technically, Angel here chose to be at the Hotel", Husk stood forth and corrected. "I was initially brought in against my will, assuming I even had a will to begin with".

"Lovely", Alyn said as he walked with Charlie, giving his full focus and attention on exclusively her. "Now then, I've been hearing a lotta good things from all over about you and your work for some time. Building a bit of a name for yourself and all".

"Yeah, well, I wouldn't say it's for myself", Charlie glanced at Alyn's hand on her shoulder. "It's more for the sinners, all sinners, to offer a second chance at redemption".

Alyn chortled and clicked his tongue. "I'm liking your quirky optimism already. I can see where people may recognise your little talent. I hope you and your pals are hungry, cause we got a fantastic supper waiting for y'all. It ain't gonna eat itself". He chuckled some more as he lead Charlie to the open front door, offering her in. Husk and Vaggie entered in as well, shooting a few glances of suspicion at Alyn, while Angel Dust gave a usual flirtatious look to him.

Once Charlie, Vaggie, Husk and lastly Angel Dust had all walked into the house and out of sight, Alyn's cheesy grin soon faded into a stern flat frown. Then with a snap of fingers, he too entered his own home with his bodyguards following him inside and closing the door behind them.
