Ultraman Violet Chapter 3

It is very difficult to update stories when picking a monster of the week.

:Chapter Start:

Deep Space-Universe-238-present day

Ultraman Zero was speeding after what appeared to be a space ship though the giant claws facing backwards give the ship a sinister appearance, trying to escape the galactic protector. Zero shouts after the ship, "Stop! And hand over those Splinters!" in response the ship opened fire at Zero. Zero dodges while shouting, "your two thousand years too young to think something like that would-" he was interrupted from the random shot to the face. Zero growked before firing a beam at on the rear thrusters resulting in the ship slowing down, but not stopping the ship from activating it's multi-versal slip drive to escape. Zero groans in annoyance, "That is the fifth time they have escape the Garrison," he then raises his wrist and says, "Geed, They got away again, is REM able to track them?"

The strange watch on Zero's wrist glows before the voice of a young man states, "REM, was able to detect they shifted universes, but," the Voice of Geed paused before finally stating, "REM says it will take a couple weeks to find what universe they went to but she was able to tell what planet they are now heading to."

Zero asks, "Where?"

Tokyo 3-Day after the last battle morning.

Shinji stirred under the blanket he found himself under before it dropped and Shinji looked at the two items in his hands, two spear like keys with heads, one with the Angel's head while the new key was shaped like the Demaaga. Shinji looked to the rising sun through the balcony as he comments, "I don't know enough to even think of a reason for the same monster being destroyed twice in a couple weeks. Or even the fact that the same monster appeared to have gotten smarter." Shinji groans before falling back to the floor.

Black's voice was then heard from his Ultra-Brace, "I have a suspicion but I don't know if is even possible. For now recover in case another Kaiju attack"

Shinji sighs before asking, "What is with these strange keys then?"

Black hums through the brace before finally admitting, "Multiverse theory is true, those keys I was developing so that the more dangerous or violet species were forced into extinction."

Shinji asks, "Why?"

Black chuckles and says, "Considering not everyone likes the idea of ending the life of a creature who may have just been forced to fight or following instinct."

Shinji hums in understanding before asking the last question he had, "How would I know if you are actually the bad guy?"

Black had a sad chuckle before stating, "Your father knows where I am. And in regards to the monster attacks, it maybe my fault. I destroyed all my research and all but the five Ultra Braces, but I may have my designs stolen."

"But even then," Shinji starts, "it is a choice between you and my father," Shinji was silent for a couple monmennts before stating, "I would probably side with you either way." With that the two had a short chuckle while Danger lurks from two different evils. The question would become, who was the real enemy?

Dark side of the moon-that moment

Behind the moon the vessel Zero ad been chasing after limped down to the moon of the third planet and through a secret barrier resulting in the craft landing inside a massive forest surrounded by a large wall and in the direct centre a large futuristic and dark castle. The craft entered a large hanger where it closed soon after and was concealed by holographic trees. Tbe craft landed and the cloaked figure who had summoned Demaaga standing at the end of a gangplank. From the ship came out a strange white humanoid with black markings that appeared to talk in binary. The dark figure appeared angered as he drew the weapon and instantly disintegrated the alien before clicking their fingers as suddenly a bunch of mechanical arms extended and began removing the cargo of the ship before beginning major modifications.

The figure left the large hanger in annoyance, entering into a large labratory where the crates were opened and some strange yellow and black crystals were seen. The figure appeared to sneer as they placed a hundred of the crystals into a distillation machine resulting in a dull hum for a full hour before a single key was ejected at the base. The Figure spoke, "All the splinters I have collected and what do I have to show for it. Ten Beial Keys, that each can only be used once and I lose all control of the Kaiju when splicing them. Mark my words Black! When I find you I will show you who the real master of light is!"

NERV Facility-Germany-a couple days later

Inside one of the 'most' secure facilities in the world, two technicians were monitoring the 'Greatest' Evangelion Pilot in the world. The two technicians were monitoring the progress of a large red Evengelion as it were through practice simulations of the limit of three simulations a day, they were currently on the pilot's seventh run through of the day. One of the technicians suddenly spoke in English, "Did you hear about the third child?"

The second technician frowns before commenting, "The official report states that the Third Child defeated the Angel. Pretty impressive for a kid who never piloted an Eva."

"Actually, I spoke to Kaji and guess what he said," the first technician spoke before adding, "Eva unit one, was never activated," the second technician turned both never realising they left the radio to the Red Eva active, "Turns out the kid is super human or something and fought the creature."

"How?" the second technician asks in shock.

"I don't know, Kai said it needs to be seen to be believed. Rumor has it though that the head of Japan's NERV branch is requesting for Unit Two to be sent to Japan with the Second Child," the first technician frowns at his statement before commenting, "Wonder how the Big Wigs will respond?"

Unknown to the pair, with a spike to sync ratios on their screens, a red headed hot head was fuming in anger, it appearing to boil the red liquid the girl was submerged in.

Japan-Tokyo3-Midday-Section2 Barracks training room

Misato was over seeing Shinji as he was getting some self defence lessons from several members of section two. Which was mainly them attack him using unfair means such as clubs and tazers. The reason was to give Shinji some experience fighting stronger opponents.

Misato suddenly side stepped one Section Two soldier after Shinji through them across the room before flipping another painfully. Misato could only face palm as the lesson had been going on for ten minutes and Shinji has proven to have been a better combatant then trained soldiers. Misato speaks up and says, "Okay that is enough Shinji, I will have to find a teacher outside of NERV as these guys were meant to be the best."

Shinji shakes his head and says, "I doubt being Gendo's goon squad mean they are anything but his 'yes men,' the competent ones would actually question hurting a harmless kid." With that Shini walked with Misato to the elevator. Shini asks, "Where are we going now?"

"Ritsuko has asked to do some tests," Misato states before commenting, "Apparently she wants to complete some basic scans of your body, CT scans of your brain and a blood test. Are you okay with that Shinji?"

"As long as she is not doing anything to share the information with my father," Shinji comments as they reach their floor. Shinji leads the way and manages to get them to Ritsuko's lab much to the surprise of the Doctor.

"Wow, you too got here very quickly," Ritsuko comments.

Shinji simply says, "I have been here for less than a week and I know the place better then Misato. Anyway I hear you want to have your way with me."

Ritsuko blush while the formally embarrassed Misato was laughing hysterically. Ritsuko comments, "Nothing invasive. I have no intention to sharing the information with your father it goes against my contract. If we were ddoing a sync test on unit one that would be a different matter."

Ritsuko's implication was noticed by Shinji as he says, "Never," Shinji's single word and tone clearly implied that he would never willingly do such a thing. Shinji then continued, "Look can we get this done already? I have nothing better I want to do, I just want to leave."

Ritsuko nods before stating, "We can start with a physical, please strip," she indicated to the side only to notice Shinji already removing his clothes. Ritsuko sighs before looking to Misato and says, "I can handle this, you go get some lunch. Rei and I can handle Shinji's medical."

Misato blinks as she notices Rei wearing a school uniform and still covered in bandages sitting in a chair. Misato asks, "Are you okay to move Rei?"

"I am adequately healed Captain Kisaragi," Rei answered focusing her one uncovered eye to the captain. Rei then focused on Shinji who was standing with his bare chest on display which caused the two adults two whistle at his physical development though Rei had a confused look as she reach her lightly blushing cheek as was the cause of her blush.

Misato chuckles before saying, "Well before I get arrested, I should probably head to my office finish up my paper work," Misato heads to the door before saying over her shoulder, "Rei, when Shinji is done can you lead him to my office," Rei simply nods staring at Shinji.

Misato left leaving Shinji to get a basic medical physical. Eventually Misato reached her office, all her paper work had been completed days earlier but she was not going let anyone know that she doesn't wait until the last minute to get it done. It takes away her free time. She opened her private fridge and pulled out a beer and leaned back to relax.

With Shinji-hour later-Ritsuko's medical room

Shinji was putting his clothes back on as Rei carefully placing the blood samples as Ritsuko speaks, "I will keep the information out of our computers. Though I will be using the information to try and see if I can locate others like yourself."

Shini frowns before stating, "Well if you find anyone, don't say a word," when Ritsuo looks at him strangely before Shinji admits, "To them or anyone else."

Ritsuko nods before stating, "This is a personal project. Hence why it won't be on the MAGI Super Computer on Base. Now Rei take him to Misato, you will be cleared to return to school in a week, so you can join Shinji for his first day of school."

"Yes Doctor," Rei answered simply as she finished labelling the blood samples before placing them in a holder. Rei then started walking out the room silently causing Ritsuko to sigh as she gestured Shinji to follow. Shinji followed Rei through the building though had to stop as Rei stopped and simply asks, "Why did you disobey the Commander?"

Shinji sighs and says, "I have no reason to trust him and I have personal reasons not to get into their science experiment," Shinji did not say anything else as he decided to just continue onto Misato's office. Rei simply followed silently as they reach Misato's office as she finished her beer and proceeded to throw the can in her trash can only for Shinji to catch it and throw the can over his shoulder and into the recycling bin in the hall seven offices over. Shinji asks, "Can we leave now?"

The answer though came from Ritsuko rushing to the office holding a watch like device. Ritsuko catched her breath before saying, "Sorry Shinji, there was one more thing," she handed Shinji a watch to wear on his opposite wrist from his Ultra-brace, "Just keep this on you during the next Kaiu attack. Then just give it to me after."

Shinji nods before looking to Misato and says, "Can we go now?"

"unfortunately Shinji I have some work to do," gesturing to her completed paper work before she comments, "How about Rei gives you a tour of the base and come back in two hours, I should be done my paperwork by then."

Rei simply nods before she grabs Shinji's wrist and leads him around the base from the Hanger bays of the Evangelions to the simulator chambers, one of which is where Shinji sees a large cycloptic orange Evangelion covered in red crystals the froze the giant robot as it appeared to be attacking a wall. Shinji asks, "What happened here?"

Rei answered, "I was performing a synchronisation test when Unit-00 went berserk and tried to destroy the facility," Shinjji then noticed the tube with rockets on the base, smashed, dented and melted sections of the violently damaged vessel. Rei noticed before stating, "That is an Insertion Plug, where a pilot of the Evangelion controls from inside."

"No wonder you are so inured," noticing the crators in the walls, roof and floor. Shinji asks, "How long were you in the plug, until the rescue teams got you out?"

Rei simply answered, "Commander Ikari released me from the Plug before the technicians could retrieve me." No one would have noticed but with Shinji's enhanced senses he could tell she was fond of the commander. Rei then continued, "The commander was injured opening the Plug."

Rei expected Shinji to appear concerned but just saw that he had a calculative expression as he thinks to himself, 'He showed concern for Rei?' Shinji frowns as he steps away before commenting, "Makes you wonder why he would risk both your lives?" with that he walks away avoiding Rei's sudden slapping of air and falling over. Shinji sighs before walking back over and helping the injured girl back to her feet before stating, "We are going to have different opinions on this, so let's not worry about it." Rei simply nods before the two continue the tour where it ends with the main command room where the three techs normally sit. Only now it was the one female tech and assistant.

The tech stands and says, "Hello I am Maya Ibuki," her hair is brown and short while wearing a NERV issued technician jumpsuit. Maya then directed him to the Terminals and says, "These computers are used for monitoring the Evangelions in battle along with monitoring the Angels and Kaijus that have been appearing."

Maya sits at her terminal and shows Shinji the scans of Deraaga, both during its first attack and then the second attack. Shinji frowns and asks, "So they were two different Kaijus?"

"It does not appear to be," Maya states, "I was ordered to abandon everything that was not the Angel by the commander. But I discovered a connection," she shows a comparison of the two monsters side by side and asks, "What do you think?"

Shinji looks closely at the two and notice a similarity and says, "They both have a minor match in Alpha, Beta and Gamma brainwaves."

Maya nods before commenting, "That is not all, all three giants that have appeared in on the terminals," Maya adds a third scan this one of Ultraman Violet.

Shinji looks at everything Maya had on the three entities that were in Tokyo3 before the terminal turned black and once it rebooted everything that Maya had collected had been deleted. That was when Commander Ikari spoke over the rooms PA system, "I am sure you have realised that continuing to use anything besides the Eva will make this war worse than it needs to be."

Shinji snorted before leaving the room and returning to Misato's office and leaving the base. Rei on the other hand had seen the same data and noticed that the Commander was lying causing her to blink and begin thinking for herself.

The Moon-Secret Fortress-that moment.

The Dark Figure was standing in front of a holographic screens showing the designs for a device, a robot and finally a list of monsters at their command. After scrolling through several monsters before finding an interesting choice, a large insectoid creature with a red visor and buzzsaw on its chest. He selected the creature before the image transformed into a key appearing in the figures hand before inserting the key into his gun and says, "Gigan destroy Ultraman!" a loud insectoid screech was heard before the creature leaped of the moon and started flying down to the surface of the planet.

A couple hours later-Tokyo3-Misato's apartment

Shinji could only sigh after cleaning Misato's apartment before cooking dinner for her. Shinji looks to the strange Penguin creature with a red Mohawk who was helping him cook and says, "Why does it feel like that Misato is not intending to get a boyfriend no matter how much she tries."

Shinji then shifted his head as an empty can of beer would have smashed into him only to be caught by Shinji and gently placed on the counter as Misato wearing a couple towels stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a new can of beer as she says, "Careful what you say about me, I have access to s gun." she opens her drink and takes a swig before she says, "YEAH!" cheering her drink.

Shinji shakes his head as he hears Misato's phone ring before she answered only after a minute she growls and hangs up and says, "Why the hell were you sent to live with that man?"

"He called thinking you were a hooker and then proceeded to ask for a different girl to visit?" Shinji jokes.

Misato growls and says, "Exactly, I am having NERV changing my number," she starts dialling the Command room at NERV and does just that. Shinji finishes cooking before suddenly gaining a chill down his spine as he looks into the distance and feels a quake before loud stomps were heard heading towards the city. Misato quickly turns to Shinji and says, "There is a Kaiju on the way to the city." Only Shinji was not there as in the distance she can see Ultraman Violet already heading out to intercept. "That boy," she would say she was upset but clearly she could only smile.

With Gigan-a few moments before landing-Outside Tokyo3

Gigan the synthetic war monster was flying at high speed with the buzz saw spinning at high speeds to generate flight. It landed with a screeching roar which pulsed along the winds around it. Gigan's eyes blinked red before it started stomping its way towards the city only to suddenly be tackled at high speeds away from any towns or cities. Ultraman Violet generates lightning around his arms to fire some energy blasts quickly. Gigan is knocked back and to the ground. Violet was analysing the Kaiju as Black spoke, "I have never sensed a creature like this."

"Any advice anyway?" Violet simply asks.

"Dismember if you can and make sure you collect it key," at Black's instructions Violet dodges some cables launched from Gigan as it activates it's buzzsaw chest charging forward while also blasting red bolts from its visor. As the cables retracted Gigan swung wildly as it charged Violet. Violet dodged the swings and made an arc of energy to throw at Gigan but it dissipated against Gigan as the energy refused to stay condensed long enough to affect Gigan. Violet then focussed several minor bolts at Gigan that pierced it's body.

Violet comments, "I can't cut it but I can pierce it," Violet starts generating large amounts of power before shouting, "THUNDER GATTLING!" firing his energy blasts like a gattling gun blasting so many holes through the monster that it falls over and shattering as it landed on the ground and Violet catching the key giving him a new power. Violet nods before flying back to Tokyo3 as the timer begins to blink red.

The Moon-After the battle.

The Dark Figure frowns but has to say, "This is not Ultraman Black," as they watch the fight from the eyes of Gigan seeing the violet colouring and the fact that he was using lightning instead of standard light energy. "This is a local and very young. So if I destroy you then I can bring out Black from hiding," chuckling darkly before returning to there work, their summoning device smoking from over-heating.

Sorry for this taking so long, as I have stated in my last couple updates of stories, I have become employed full time so updates are going to take time.
